I was curious about Boca Walk-In Tubs. I called them and they sent a salesman to talk to us about it, which clarified a lot of stuff. He was great and quite thorough. He went through everything and could answer everything or show you a picture if we had questions. When he took measurements, he finished up to a certain point. I told him I would like the whole wall done to the ceiling. We’re talking about putting 2 feet more tile up going to the ceiling. He said that it might be extra, and I said I didn’t care.
The guys who came were courteous. When they said they were done, I said, “Well, what am I supposed to do with the other 2 feet going up to the ceiling?” I had asked for the whole wall to be done to the ceiling. At first, they said, “That’s not what we do.” I told them they better go look at the paperwork again or call somebody because I had asked to have it finished that much further.
They did go find another box of matching tile and put it up there. But it’s still about 4 or 5 inches from the ceiling, and there’s a hole in the ceiling. It’s still there like that. To this day, it isn’t finished. I'm just sitting there, and I don't wanna look into the attic to take a shower in. I’m not real happy with that part. I thought I could probably finish it myself, but I realized I’m getting too old and can’t do that stuff. I contacted Boca figuring they do this all the time and I would have a finished product. For the cost of it, I thought a few more bucks and another hour would have taken care of it. They were there all day. I just feel like I should have made them finish it like I wanted.
But the guys that put the tub in filled it up with water and made sure everything worked, nothing leaked, and all that kind of stuff. They made sure the water got hot to a certain temperature. They did every different thing that you could push a button for. They did a good job except for that little bit of finished work.
I haven’t used the walk-in tub, but my grandson did. He thought it was really cool. He was in heaven in it. He even said, “It really makes you feel good, grandma.” I’ve seen it run. It works and everything. The tub is beautiful and it’s got most of the features like aromatherapy, lighting, and bubbles. It’s not just regular air bubbles. It makes you feel different.

I am completely happy with my Boca tub. I have some neighbors who got a different kind and they’re not as happy as I am. My tub was made really near where I live and I knew a little bit of the family that works there. I’ve thought about calling them to say how pleased I was with everything.
The lady that came out, measured and talked to me in the very beginning was efficient from the word go. I also couldn’t believe that a guy could be as neat, clean and fast as the guy who installed the tub. He came out and done it on New Year’s Eve. Everything was good and I have no complaints.
I finally figured out exactly how to make everything work. It took me a little while to do a tour container. I learned to go in there earlier and turn on my seat and get it warm, and then I’d turn the water on and let it get hot, close the door, sit down and just enjoy it. I have lymphedema and I think it’s helping me. And I feel really safe and secure in it.

The walk-in tub was mostly for my wife, since she couldn’t get into a regular tub anymore due to our age. We looked at different companies to make sure we were getting a good product, and Boca was great. They gave us a quote that was very reasonable, and we’ve had the tub for two months with no problems so far.
Everything was done online. No salesman came to the house. I talked to them virtually, they showed me the factory, how it was built, and how I would save. I had already checked other companies like Kohler, Safe Step, and Jacuzzi, and Boca was at least $6,000 cheaper.
On the installation day, they called and sent a man out to the house. He took all the measurements for the doors, took pictures of the bathroom, and the installation was completed in one day.

I’ve been interested in Boca Walk-In Tub and so I looked it up online. My husband and I are both elderly. I had a jetted tub that I had to step into, and I’m already 78 so I have to be careful about falling. I realized that was getting less and less safe for me. So, I decided to get a walk-in tub so I could still enjoy my soaky baths without the added danger of trying to step out of a deep tub. The thing is the filling and the emptying, but that's part of the tub. You can't have one without the other.

I was very pleased with the experience with Boca. Michael was very nice and the person who installed it was very good too. Before Boca, I had somebody else come and it ticked me off. Because at the end of it, he tried to make me believe that he was this nice person. He called the home office and the home office decided they would give him an extra choice that if he wanted to give us an extra deduction of a $1,000, he could do it. And it was such a cheesy move. It was so salesperson-like that it just disgusted me.
Whereas with Boca, there wasn't. He told me what and how it was going to be, and he gave me the name of some people to call. And I was satisfied with him. I was very satisfied with the installation. He did it one day, by himself, which is surprising to me that somebody could do the whole thing. I liked the tub. The features were the same as most other ones. It's got a nice low-level entry. It had the bubbler and the colors and the backseat warmer and other things. I was pleased and I'm happy with the tub.

I've been interested in Boca because it’s a good tub. I actually heard about them from the salesman after responding to a Facebook ad about walk-in tubs. He was the first to respond, and it’s an excellent tub.
The installation took one day. They removed the old tub, installed the new one, and that was it. Everything was sweet and neat, you wouldn’t even know it wasn’t part of the original house.
It’s a walk-in tub, and it’s wonderful. The first time I heard the air blow through the pipes afterward, it kind of scared me. My wife reminded me that the installer had mentioned it, and I forgot. If you're interested in a walk-in tub, do it with Boca.

I had a Safe Step guy come here and he was something else. I’ve got it all these discounts that he offered written down and he was still way out of line. So I chose Boca for their price. The installation went well. The guy and his daughter did it. They just whipped in here and really did a fine job.
Their tub has the same features as Safe Step’s. It’s just a walk-in and everything runs pretty good. I only have used the tub once because my hot water heater couldn’t supply enough of the running temperature of the tub to fill it up. I’m in the process of changing the hot water heater out and putting in one of these on-demand tankless systems. Also, our area over here’s cold and it’s winter. So, I couldn’t get that stand-alone unit put in yet. It’s still on the way. I can’t wait to use the tub again.

I had an inflatable hot tub in my garage and I enjoyed it. But then they did a recall on the motor because the pump caught on fire. And so, I wanted to replace that. I didn't want to get a big regular hot tub for outside. I thought about whirlpool tub inside, and so I started researching. And I ended up figuring out Boca is my best option since I am 78 years old.
I did a lot of research and put out some inquiries. And a representative in Hickory, North Carolina, which is not far from where I live, called me on a Sunday morning. And he was very personable. And it wasn't mass marketing, canned sales approach. He was very honest and no pressure. And so, I had him come, and talk to me about it.
I was in sales for 20 years, so I know about the sales tricks and techniques. And I like the idea that I was helping a smaller company, even though I know they're not small-small. And yet the way the tub’s manufactured, the warranties, the extras you can get, it was just a better value all the way around.
The owner's son called me on the day of installation. The installer from Boca called me to say when they were coming. They were exceptional in their service and the quality of the work. Boca sent their own man from Georgia. They installed it within a day and cleaned up nicely. It's a very personal service.
I love the quality. I upgraded. I could add extra 4 inches to make it deeper. I added the little bubble features for the skin exfoliation. A lot of what's extra on other companies came as standard on this tub.
I've had the tub now for a while. And I've used it once or twice a week, especially with my arthritis flares up. And I've just turned that little bathroom into my spa. I'm totally, completely happy. I recommended it to other people. Some people went by in the community to see if they want it. So, it’s great.

I like that the Boca tub has an open door feature. However there is no temperature adjustment on the water coming in. You get whatever comes out of the hot water heater. It’s a typical sink-type thing. You get cold valves and you can combine it to get the temperature you want.
Other than that, their customer service is excellent. Their installation team was very good. Price-wise, it wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't the highest. But it still had the best features.

Ten years later and I am getting customer assistance! That is unheard of and this is why I chose a reputable company! Happy customer here. We had our Boca brand tub installed 10 years ago. Have we been happy with it - yes. We were having some age-related problems with the faucets. I first spoke with a plumber who said he could replace it but it would be at least 3 thousand dollars for the items to be replaced. I then spoke with a handyman about fixing it and he asked if we had dealt with a reputable company - I thought we did. When I contacted them by email about the problem, I was shocked to get an immediate reply. I did not have a receipt. I thought that would be all they needed to say ‘I’m sorry that is not under warranty’ and leave me with the problem. But no. Pictures we requested and sent and simple instructions were given to me. How excellent!

I wanted a tub, no bells and whistles, because I’m 87 years old and I can’t get in and out of a tub, but I like a tub bath. The young men who put the tub in worked from 8 o’clock in the morning until 10 o’clock at night. However, it did not include the flooring and the wall that had to be replaced. They took out a big spa tub, and it left some wall that had to be repaired. The tub was also attached to the shower, and I didn't want our standing shower replaced because it’s 20 years old and made with cultured marble, which is still in really good shape. The young men were very careful, nice, and worked diligently.
I know the flooring and everything couldn’t be done in one day. But it took way longer than I thought. And then it was a different company that had to do the glass replacement, because they took the glass off of the shower and it had to be replaced. They were a little slow. The guy who came and did the flooring and wall had to come back several times, but he did an outstanding job with matching the existing paint. I have to give them 10 points for that and the trim on the baseboards.
But as far as the Boca tub, they got it in and I’m happy with it. It took some getting used to, but it is good. I’m a little concerned about how long-lasting the door is going to be. But for right now, I have no problems with it. I think the drain plug is a little funky and I don’t like the chain connected there. Also, the water sometimes drips when getting it to shut off because there’s no stopping point. I have to be very careful and pay attention or it will not get completely shut off.

The quality of the work was excellent. They really knew the product and they really did a fantastic job of putting it in. My problem is that it uses more hot water than my hot water heater can supply and I've been trying to find somebody to put in an on-demand hot water heater. So far, I haven't been able to find it. So I've only used the tub once. Everything else was okay.

The installation team was great. They took apart my door and I thought I'd never see it back together again. But it looks just as good, if not better. I never thought they'd get the Boca Walk-in tub in my small bathroom but they did it.
Having back problems, the jets are the best feature 'cause they do a lot for the feet and back. I wish I could lay down in it, but I knew before I bought it that I wasn't gonna be able to. In my old bathtub, I couldn't shower because I couldn't stand that long. And I was getting so I couldn't get out of the tub because I couldn't stand up because my legs were so weak. That's when my wife said, "We're buying a walk-in tub."
The tub has everything that we asked for. The only thing is, I thought the aromatherapy would be a little stronger. I don't seem to smell it anyways. My wife thought she smelled it one time. Also, when the water jets are turned on full blast, it splashes off our shoulders or arms and goes over the side of the tub. So, we end up with a wet floor. We put the jets on a lower speed. And it's only when the jets are on with the air. The bubbles shoot the water up. So, my wife uses the air jet only. But I like both of them and I put them on the third setting where it's up a little bit and then down. I keep my shoulder away from the side of the tub and we put towels on the floor just in case.

I recently had an experience with Boca Walk-In Tubs. I found them through an online form that prompted companies to contact me, and Boca was the first to reach out. From the start, their communication was excellent, particularly with a representative named Mike.
The purchase and installation were straightforward, done entirely over the phone, and the quality of work was impressive. However, I did have issues with the loan I received through a company called MOMNT. The process was frustrating, payments weren't reflecting online, and it has been difficult to use their online payment system.
During installation, there was a minor issue with a diaphragm in one of the air jets, but Mike quickly resolved it by ordering the necessary part and coming back promptly to fix it. We are pleased with the features, especially the handheld shower, although I wish it could be mounted higher for more pressure. At first, I didn't understand how to use the sprayer. Mike called me and he gave me another lesson. They really kept in touch with me.
Overall, we are very pleased with Boca, particularly their customer service and product quality, rating both a five. However, the cost was higher than expected, more than when we replaced our roof and installed a wheelchair lift combined. If I had taken more time to compare it with other options, perhaps the cost would have been more aligned with expectations. Nonetheless, the high-quality reviews and our satisfaction with the tub justify the price to some extent.

I learned about Boca through my husband, who likely saw an ad and contacted them. Our prior experiences with other companies were unpleasant—they were pushy and obnoxious. However, the Boca representative was completely different, which was refreshing.
On installation day, I cleared out the bathroom expecting the work to take longer, but they finished in just two hours. They removed our old garden tub and installed the new walk-in tub smoothly. The team explained how to use everything and even followed up a few days later to ensure we were comfortable with it.
I've been researching walk-in tubs since 2017, so I was aware of price fluctuations. If I had purchased back then, it would have been $10,000 less, but aside from the cost, I am very satisfied with the product.
The walk-in tub has been fantastic. It’s especially beneficial for my husband, who is 6'5" and recovering from a brain tumor, impacting his balance. Before, bathing him was challenging and unsafe, but now he showers every other day comfortably on his own.
At one point, I had a knee replacement, making it difficult to use our previous tub safely. The walk-in tub has improved our quality of life tremendously, offering a safe and relaxing bathing experience. My retired nursing background tells me the old ways were not the best, but now everything is much safer and convenient. This product has significantly improved our lives, particularly with salt baths for my husband’s mineral needs due to radiation therapy.
Overall, I'd give Boca a five-star rating for their excellent service and product.

I initially chose Boca Walk-in Tubs because of their competitive pricing. The presentation was done in person, and although the salesman was typical in his approach, we ultimately decided to proceed due to the affordability. The installation went smoothly and was completed in about a day and a half, which was within the timeline they provided. We opted just for the tub as we already had a shower, so there was no need for the combo option.
Overall, my experience was very positive. If a friend asked, I would definitely recommend Boca. In terms of ratings, I'd give them five stars for the overall experience, even though I haven’t had much interaction with customer service beyond the sales experience. The quality of the tub and the pricing were both excellent in my opinion.

I came across Boca when I was browsing Facebook, checking out various companies offering walk-in hot tubs. As I explored, I stumbled upon Consumer Affairs and somehow Angie came up, which led to a flurry of calls. I initially blocked those calls, but out of curiosity, I ended up speaking with someone from Boca, which resulted in setting up an appointment.
When the representative visited from Boca, the experience was excellent. They were very professional and knowledgeable. As a senior without much technology know-how, I found great value in how the representative patiently walked me through everything on my cell phone.
The installation team was impressive. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and completed their job efficiently. However, my enjoyment has been a bit delayed as I discovered my 40-gallon hot water tank couldn't fill the tub completely. The baths I've attempted were lukewarm due to needing additional cold water. Thankfully, I’m getting a new 55-gallon water heater that should be ready soon, which I hope will resolve this.
Despite this hiccup, I'd rate Boca a 5, for their professionalism, from initial contact to setting up appointments.

I recently purchased a Boca walk-in bath for my brother Danny, who struggles with mobility issues. We heard about Boca through internet research while looking for solutions that could help him. Danny recently underwent neck surgery and will soon address his knee problems, so having the tub installed was timely.
The installation team was fast and efficient. There was only a minor issue with some caulking that needed touch-up, but otherwise, their work was impressive. I would rate our experience with Boca at a high level of satisfaction.
Danny has only used the tub a few times as he gets accustomed to it, and I haven't had a chance to try it myself. However, everything seems to be working well for now.
Overall, our experience has been good. I've just been waiting on a full receipt showing full payment from them and haven't been able to get one yet.

I recently purchased a walk-in bathtub from Boca and I have some feedback on the overall experience. While the tub is generally good, I believe the design of the front needs some improvement. When you're taking a shower and standing up, water tends to splash off you and onto the side of the tub, draining onto the floor. It would be helpful if there were lips at the top of the tub to angle the water back towards the tub rather than the floor.
We like that water thing that hits on our back, but if that's up too high, we get too much water in on the tub. It will shoot out the top. I have to be very careful with how much water is there, and when my husband is in the tub, I have to watch harder. Or I can make sure I get something in the floor to catch that little water. It's not a whole heap. My husband's unable to stand and take a shower, but I can;t. I use the shower wand and I have to do the sit down shower because I don't like the water getting on the edges of the tub and running down on the floor. Even though I have my shower curtain inside the tub, the water goes on the edges around the tub.
Overall, I would recommend the Boca bathtub to friends, but I'd rate it a 4 due to the issues with water spillage. There's also a concern about hair being caught in the drain since there isn't a protective device in it. We have to keep an eye on it to prevent clogs. That thing on the side of the tub catches the hair but I don't know that it catches it all. That round thing is one of the main things Boca has to cover to make the water go through everything. We don't fill the tub that often. I don't want to waste that much water. I don't have to have it up to my waist or over the seat.
Lastly, one of the reasons we chose a Boca walk-in tub is because it's made in Georgia. We preferred an American-made product, and going into Georgia was better than sending it down in Texas. If I went with Safe Step, they were gonna enlarge our door hole because my husband can't get in with his wheelchair. They were gonna enlarge it, free. They were gonna put up extra handles so that he would be able to use the grip to get in. I have the Georgia tub. Boca has other people who put in the tub, which we explained to these other people that my husband's right side works, but his left side doesn't. So he has still a problem getting in the tub. If my husband wants to use the tub, he can't use the left parts of the tub. When you ain't got but one arm to work with, that tub is still hard. It's easier than getting in the slide-in chair that I had at the back to try to get him in.

I recently had a Boca Walk-In bath installed. It's cheaper than other tubs and it has good quality. The sales representative was knowledgeable during the consultation. The installation team was excellent; they arrived on time. They had to park their vehicle overnight because they came from Idaho and that was quite a drive. But they finished up the next day and I was very pleased with that and how fast they did it.
As an 84-year-old, safety is my top priority, and this tub provides a secure bathing option compared to my previous setup. I no longer have to worry about cleaning glass doors, which is a relief. The surround features make me feel safe from falls. I also love the convenience and flexibility of showering or bathing. I can do whatever I want. The only thing, I would have gotten a little bit bigger tub. It's good for me. I can't worry about other people because nobody else lives here. It takes some getting used to, but I'm fine with it now. If I'd gotten bigger, I would have probably had to change my water tank. It's a 40-gallon. And that's perfect. I have enough hot water to fill it up.

I decided to get a Boca walk-in bathtub because I'm 90 years old and have rheumatoid arthritis. I first learned about Boca through an online advertisement. When the sales representative visited my home, he was very helpful and made sure I understood everything about the bathtub. I appreciated that he was genuinely concerned about my needs and didn't try to upsell unnecessary features.
Overall, I'm really pleased with the product. Although there are minor things, like the pillow that doesn't fit well due to my height (I'm 5 feet), the significant feature for me was the low entry height. I find it difficult to step up, so the low entrance was a big selling point. The water temperature regulation is another feature I like because it maintains the desired temperature without constant adjustment.
The tub has helped me slow down and enjoy my baths, rather than rushing through a shower. If I were to rate Boca, I'd give it a 5, and I'd recommend it to friends. In terms of price, I'd rate it a 4, and their website must be good since it influenced my decision.

My sister Melissa saw the Boca walk-in tub on television and was interested in it, so she called them. We scheduled a visit, and the sales representative was okay, but there were some things he mentioned that didn't match up, like the need for grab bars inside the tub which were not provided. Melissa needs these to pull herself up due to her mobility issues. Despite this, she likes the tub overall.
The installation went well. The team arrived in the morning around 8 or 9 AM and left in the afternoon around 4 or 5 PM. They did a good job cleaning up the mess and put everything back, including the door frame they temporarily removed to fit the tub in.
Overall, I'd rate Boca a 4 out of 5. The missing grab bars affected the experience since they were something she specifically requested and needed for easy in and out access. This is crucial as she's reliant on a wheelchair and walker, and the tub's design makes it much easier for her to soak without the problems of her previous lower garden tub. I hope we can resolve this issue with the grab bars soon.

My experience with the Boca Walk-in Tub has been excellent. Their company is close to where we live, which I believe would make it easier to get service if anything went wrong, compared to picking a company located in another state. The service people and the salesperson were excellent, and we've enjoyed our experience with them very much. The installation process was very good as well.
I really like the jets and the ease of walking in without struggling to get out, which is essential for us since we're in our eighties. It's especially beneficial for my husband, who's very ill, as it makes bathing him much easier for me. While my hectic schedule as a caregiver doesn't leave me much time to relax, I feel relaxed when I take a bath in the walk-in tub.

I had a generally positive experience with Boca Walk-In Tubs. We ended up choosing Boca because another company never got back to us after scheduling an appointment. Our interactions with the sales representative were pleasant, as they were kind, knowledgeable, and straightforward.
The installation team was fantastic. They were respectful of our home, answered all our questions, and thoroughly explained how to use the tub. They were a friendly group of people, and the installation process didn't take more than a business day.
My mom loves the cushion feature of the tub compared to just the step-in shower. However, she doesn't use it as often as she anticipated because it takes a long time to fill and empty, making it less appealing. While she did sleep better after using it, it hasn't significantly changed anything for her.
One suggestion I have for Boca is to offer a shower curtain install as well. When using the tub and the bubbles are bubbling, it splatters everywhere causing water to fall between our shower and the new tub. It's just on the ground instead of being able to have something to deflect that water from flowing out of the area. Having a barrier would help prevent this.
Overall, we're left with an overpriced bathtub that's not being used as much as we hoped. However, if someone had the right set up, it would work for them.

I learned about Boca online, though I can't recall the exact details. I decided to get a walk-in bathtub based on my doctor's recommendation. My experience with Boca was very positive. During the sales visit, the representative was straightforward and provided a detailed comparison between their tubs and others, including what was included. It was very informative.
On installation day, everything went smoothly. Though I can't recall precisely, there were two or three installers, and the process took most of the day. I was satisfied with the quality of their work.
As for the product itself, I love it. It allows me to relax, which is what I like most about it. I have features like air bubble jets, water jets, and the Boca Bubbles, which are microbubbles that help exfoliate the skin. There's also the light therapy and aromatherapy. My favorite feature so far is the water jets.
This product has had a positive impact on my life. If I were to rate it, I would give it a four out of five. I would also rate their customer service, product quality, and price a four out of five.

The Boca sales representative was very friendly and explained the tub features thoroughly. As for the installation, they came from Boise, Idaho. They started the demolition in the afternoon and completed the installation by the next day. The quality of their work was very professional.
Using the tub is a relaxing experience for me, helping with my back and skin issues. It has several features that I appreciate, like a place for essential oils, lights that change colors, and micro bubbles. I don't use the big bubbles, preferring the micro bubbles instead. The tub also has a shower nozzle, which I use as the tub drains.
Overall, I would rate my experience a five, and I would recommend it to friends and family. If you can afford it, it's worth it. The product itself is a five, but while the price is a bit high, but my husband felt like I needed it enough that we afforded it. The website also deserves a five for its quality.
In summary, I’m very satisfied with Boca and would say it's worth the investment.
