I had my tub covered and I had a cover for all the tubs about 2 months ago. I chose Bath Fitter because I thought they did a good job on my sister's that she had a couple of years ago. And I'd say they did a great job with mine too. The guy who installed was just very nice and I've not given him enough compliments. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

My experience with Bath Fitter... so far so good. We went to a home show and they were there. It's time to get rid of the old one, so we got a tub and a shower and wall surround about 2 and a half weeks ago. The installation was a long time period. They came in in the morning, and they left at probably 8 o'clock at night. They cleaned ok, but I think they could've done a little bit better. When they cut the other one to get it out of there, they kinda left it all over the place. It was fine 'cause we finished cleaning the rest of it. Overall, it was a different experience, very different.

We purchased the walk-in shower. It has got a seat in it too. It was back in I think around March. The reason why we put the walk-in shower is because my wife has arthritis real bad and she was having trouble getting in and out of the tub so we decided to tear the tub out for a walk-in shower which she loves. If she does want to sit down, she can.

I've seen advertisements in magazines and even on TV. And actually, we did some looking around. We went to Lowe's and Home Depot and looked at what they had. And the reason why we decided to go with Bath Fitter is because the quality was so much better. Actually, as far as companies are concerned, Bath Fitter is the only actual company we dealt with. We wanted to make sure we got a good product and a job well done and that's the way it turned out. Our experience is very good.

The guy that came out and has done the work was very nice. I mean no mess whatsoever after he was done and we were well pleased with the job that was done. As far as the quality and everything, we're really happy with it. It was very pleasant and very professional.

We have the tub removed and a full shower put in 6 weeks ago. It was my husband that really did it. It's his tub and as far as I know, he likes it very much and they did a very nice job. The house is 27 years old. The tub was just getting old and my husband had always wanted to take a shower so he decided to do it.

My husband called and Bob came and showed us what they had available. We chose what we wanted out of the catalogue and he took his measurements and stuff and he was very nice. The fellow's name that came was Jason (big guy). He just took the bathtub out and put the new one in and fit in everything nicely. It was well worth it. There was no wait. It was nice to have it all done in one day and not have to worry about it.

It was this year that we had them install a tub and shower. It was just one guy. He was really really good. He came and he was tremendous. He knew what he was doing and was very very polite and a nice guy. Setting up the whole process and appointments, I didn't have any setbacks during that time. I'm just glad we chose them. I purchased an oversized shower from Bath Fitter less than a year ago (it may have been last fall). I've never had a moment of displeasure. I wanted it because I was getting older and less capable to navigate a bathtub. I got in touch with Bath Fitter and within the day, they were done here and offered me everything that I needed and it was perfect. Installation was a day. I've had no problems and just enjoyed it tremendously since then.

I looked around quite a bit. There are different contractors, but I found most of them subbed out. Companies like Home Depot and others' products were probably the same quality product but they find out their work; they had subcontractors doing this and then maybe a subcontractor doing minor construction that might be necessary to accommodate. When I looked it over, their prices which were pricey, Bath Fitter said they could do the whole job, and they did the whole job for about $2000 less.

2-3 people on my neighborhood (because of what I told them and just asking me of my opinion) in fact installed Bath Fitter. I'm extremely satisfied!

I'm completely satisfied with Bath Fitter. Last May we took the tub out and put in the shower with the seat plus sliding doors. We had this done as my wife was having trouble stepping over the tub (about a year and a half ago she had a complete knee operation). We wanted something safer than that.

Well, I had seen the ads on the home television. I don't know really why I called, but I just called their number, and there goes a salesman and he came over and followed me. The salesman showed me what they had to offer and had a brochure and I saw the pictures and everything, and that looked like what we needed so we just went with Bath Fitter. And now I couldn't ask for no better.

I had interaction with all the people at Bath Fitter (salesperson and installers). They did a great job! I'm very satisfied and happy with the salesman. And all the guys who worked here were friendly and patient. They put in a walk-in shower - very professional and I'm very happy with it. Excellent!

I heard about other companies but I'm not seeing anyone who had used them before. That's why we went with somebody reputable. I looked on the web and they sent me some literature and a coupon, and they gave me a pretty good price. Once we agreed to do it, they did it very fast. They installed a tub a month and a half ago, and I'd say having it setup and arranged was a simple process.

Everything went as planned. It was as expected, as promised. We have a small bathroom upstairs it went originally. We didn't want to tear the house apart as we just finished a major renovation. So the fact that we could get it done in a day was a driving factor.

I came to know about them when I saw their advertisement. And then my daughter came at the same time and we talked, 'Oh, let's not put off,' for we're putting off a long time, and said, 'let's call them and see.' Since I called, the man said he would be available in the evening, which was a good thing because usually it said in a week's time or so, maybe I'll call somebody else. I purchased a shower from Bath Fitter about six weeks ago. The salesperson was good. He answered all my questions and was helpful also and we're enjoying the shower. They did an excellent job. They worked with me and made sure I was happy. It's a large shower and it's working really well.

We had a large tub with mirrors behind it and my child has autism, and the mirrors and the windows were unsafe. They keep the windows in the shower walled up and the mirrors down for safety issues. Now, we're able to watch our son shower and learn the skills to bath himself. It's really accessible and has a lot of nice accessories in there and just makes it a lot safer for him so that he can't slip through stuff on the bottom of it and it's really nice.

My husband is recovering from surgery. I knew we had to have our shower redone anyway and it was just one of those things that we kept putting off. And then when my husband had the emergency surgery, I knew that he needed to have a place to sit down and all that, so I went ahead. Now the reason I chose Bath Fitter is because a few years ago they did my bathroom with the tub overlay and the surround. So I knew that they do quality work and I believe they also did one for the people across the street which is how we knew that it was a good product. And I've been very happy with my bath tub.

We had this one done the week prior to April 15 and it was a shower, the surround, faucet, a spray, two grab bars and two shelves actually a corner one and another one for medical purposes and a seat too. The installation person was absolutely super and he knew that I was stressed trying to get this in because my husband couldn't really come home and so these things were done and he went above and beyond. Bath Fitter was honest and did quality work.

We were getting ready to sell our house and the tiles cracked. We had some leakage that was getting into the wall there. It was time to do something and I just keep my eye on it. We chose Bath Fitter because they would do the walls. I don't know if other comes to do that. Also, they have their own people working so I didn't go any further with some contractors.

We had the guy come in, and he was at least twice here. I got a tub and a shower, and then the surround on the wall. About 2/3 of it were tiles so they covered our wall and went around the rest of the bathroom as well. He worked 4 bathrooms and everything. He was very good about working through the problems. I worked with the company. We have historical district with tight tolerances and we ended up working with an inspector. Everything worked out. Seamless quality and done in the right timeframe. It's pretty good.

I made an appointment two weeks ago. Bath Fitter picked the day and time (1PM on May 23). On that day, I received a courtesy call at 8:15AM confirming the appointment. That was nice. So I took off to run errands until 1PM. However, when I returned at noon, I found two voicemails (the first at 9:30) canceling the appointment because of an emergency. I adjusted my time today, to include canceling a lunch date, for this appointment. This is definitely not a positive way to begin a business relationship. If a company can't keep the initial appointment, what's to be expected later on? I'm not impressed and won't do business with this company to avoid future aggravations. I may be picky, but I expect topnotch service from beginning to end when you're dealing in thousands of dollars. Sorry Bath Fitter, I gave you a chance and you blew it.

About three to four weeks ago, we installed a tub and shower enclosure. We just saw Bath Fitter in commercials and stuff like that. My dad had got it done before he passed away, and he was happy that's why we decided to go with Bath Fitter. Actually, they were more expensive than everybody else, but we decided to go with them.

I'm very, very disappointed - not at the product. The product was nice, but I paid to have it done which is why I expected more than I thought it was. When they brought it in, after my bathroom was just painted and everything, they had torn the walls up. Two or actually it was three big gouges. Two on the one wall and one on the other wall right in through the sheetrock. I was going to call up and raise holy hell, but my wife said, ''Don't worry about it.'' I'm like, ''No, we paid a lot of money for this.'' They tore the bathroom up and the job that we were offered or the job that we were promised wasn't done. Then the shower nozzle, when you turn the water on, it was supposed to be raised up but it wasn't. They didn't raise that stuff up so I never called. I was just keeping it to myself and I was hoping that someday somebody would call me and let me know.

The salesman was nice. The installer was nice because I wasn't here for most of the day. I got home when he was finishing up. The product itself is a beautiful product. My wife is happy with it, she loved it, and that's her bathroom. I'm not even allowed in it. I have my separate bathroom now. As per the installation and what I was promised, it wasn't anybody's satisfaction. Anybody else would have called up and probably raised holy Cain especially after they put two holes in my wall.

I would recommend them, but I wouldn't recommend the installer because he didn't even tell us he'd tear the walls up. Thank God that we found it. It would be nice if Bath Fitter calls me and asks me. My wife doesn't want to cause a dead stink basically because we wanted my bathroom done next.

Overall experience, I would rate it about a 6 or a 7 only because the product is a very beautiful product. Other than that, I'd probably give it about a 4 or a 5. I would rate them right in the middle.

Then we happened to be on a fair and Bath Fitter had a display set up. We talked to the guy and got his number. The man came out and just demonstrated it and showed us what we were going to get and how it worked. Then we went by to the showroom in Charlotte and looked at the bath we want. It was like set up. Our old shower stall was leaking and that was the sign that it is time to remodel. It was along the first week of April when I purchased the shower stall. My wife and I both dealt with the salesperson and he's a typical sales guy. He was fine other than the fact that he mismeasured and he ordered the wrong sides enclosure, which put our installation off about a week. But then it all got made right. Bath Fitter did order the right size. They did come back. They did install it and we're happy with the product.

My wife dealt exclusively with the installation person; I did not. I think my wife's experience with the installation guy was perfectly fine. No complaints. We're overall very pleased. But I think because of the little mishaps, I probably couldn't give a five. I would probably go with 4 with them. We were certainly disappointed that the original installation schedule was not able to be met, but in the end it was made right. We're very pleased with the final product.

Bath Fitter converted a tub to a shower about a year or nine months ago. I have heard about them on the TV and stuff. Without going for the contractor or redoing the whole thing, I thought it would be slightly cheaper to do the Bath Fitter. It was still expensive, but I guess just convenience.

I had some problems in that bathroom with the walls. There was a tile that was cracked and there was water getting behind the tiles. I don't want to ever have to worry about water getting behind the wall. That was my major concern. Plus, I had this funky window in there. It's like a half a moon shaped window in the shower. I knew that was going to be difficult to form Bath Fitter's product around that window because typically you don't have windows in showers, but this one does. Anyway yes, a great installation. The guy was great, but we had some problems with the amount of caulk he had to use because of that window and because we thought initially that there was absolutely no caulk in the Bath Fitter. But apparently, when you do a tub to shower conversion, the walls and the thing they put in the bottom of the pan have to be caulked. That's the only dissatisfaction. Overall they are professional.

I had a little bit of a funny experience. I live in an older house and I had a cast iron tub (not one of the clawfooted ones but one of the flatter ones in a 1950/1940 house). So it has seen its better days, not to mention the wall and the tile above it. We went over different options, and that opened my mind up for Bath Fitter. I did three estimates with three different companies, basically the same thing. Lowe's is one of them. Home Depot is one of them. Then there was funny company and then Bath Fitter. Bath Fitter sits in $2,000 less than all these other companies. We're talking about Home Depot and Lowe's, and the product was much better. The salesperson was very knowledgeable, helpful and showed me different options from what I was thinking.

The only problem I had was when the tub got here. It was too large for the small bathroom. The step-in was 8 inches wide at the top and it needed to be 4 inches, so we had to wait an extra week for that tub to come in. We didn't load anything. We just reordered it and it came in a week later. The guy was here in one day. He was super nice - a young guy. I was a little shock that he did it by himself just because of the weight of the cast iron tub. It was probably 450 pounds. He's busted it up in pieces and sections and took it out. The job turned out great. We're extremely happy.

We inherited a home, a newer home, so we're preparing this house to sell. And you can't sell a house with an old bathroom. We're preparing the house now. Everything has been done and the bathroom was the last thing. I'm a pretty smart consumer so I definitely shopped at Bath Fitter and it turned out great. As a matter of fact, I'm in here right now looking at it. I love the Moen shower head. I thought that was the first thing I was going to change, but then my wife and I and the kids used the shower head and we really, really like the shower head that was installed in here.

Also, my mother-in-law just bought a condominium. She's remodelling the master bathroom in the condominium so I went over there to help. I pulled out a couple old toilets for her that were real low that she can't sit down under because she's old. She said, ''Hey listen, I'm going to redo that bathroom in the master bath.'' I said, ''Listen, just call Bath Fitter. Just call them. They're in and out in the day.' Somebody gave me a heads up on, I think it was a $100 if I recommend somebody and then they would get a discount too. I'm not sure of that. I'll call them now. This is not a cast iron tub in this new condo over there. This could be a lot easier job.

They are professional and efficient. I'm just a satisfied customer. If I'm going to recommend Bath Fitter to my mother-in-law, that's pretty high up there.

My mother and stepfather are living with me, and because of aging, they couldn't get their legs over the edge of the bath tub. We've been wanting to take the factory out of our bathroom and put something else in there, but we weren't having any luck with the stuff that was needed to do just that. One time, we just happen to be watching TV and the ad for Bath Fitter. We went to their webpage, went over everything, and sent them an email for consultation. We did that Friday or Saturday night, and by Monday night, we already had an appointment.

Our new shower was installed sometime the first part of April. Everything was great and wonderful. The people that came out were super nice, super informative, and professional. They had a bit of trouble with the commode that was sent out since we had one of the taller commodes put in. The one that was sent didn't fit; it was something about the distance between the wall and where the commode sat. It wouldn't work so a new one was hunted down and brought out before the installer left. It was wonderful to see how fast the entire process went.

We chose Bath Fitter for the simple fact that they had exactly what we wanted and what we needed. We haven't been able to find any other company that does it. Why waste time when they have exactly what we want and need? We've already recommended them to our friends; we've been singing their praises left and right.

A house in the neighborhood had a Bath Fitter sign behind us and then my wife had seen it on TV on the news, and there you go, then she called. We just decided we wanted to get a shower because at our age it's getting hard to get in and out of the tub, and then we'd redone the other bathroom with a tub. It's been a couple of months now since we had that done. As far as the installer, he was this young man who was very nice, did a very good job and so far we've been very well satisfied. It was pretty neat to see it getting done and we're very happy with it.

We bought a shower enclosure about three months ago. I had no problems with the installation person. I do have a problem though with the salesperson; he lied to me but I did not make an issue of it. It was supposed to be a seamless assembly and it's not seamless. They had to put a seam all away around the top and the sides. So it really was false advertisement, at least an hour application it was. They were supposed to be the best in the industry that's why we went with them. I'm very disappointed with the sales staff but very happy with the quality of the installation.

We've bought a house and it had a tub. We wanted to have a shower that we didn't have to step up in, so we contacted Bath Fitter. I had used them before. I had a grandaunt that had a house and bathroom that needed redoing and this time I didn't know anybody, and I know what I had heard was all good so we had them do it. The installers came a month ago, but I didn't actually get to see them; my husband was here when all that went on and it looked very good. It's quick and easy and nice work.

We've been in the house for 35 years and we had a bathtub but decided to replace it. I had a good friend that had used Bath Fitter and he was satisfied that's why we chose them. We've also seen some ads in the paper. We went to Lutherville location and looked at the display and picked out what we wanted. The salesperson happened to live probably 6 or 8 miles from us. She was very good and so we decided we'd go that route. We made the deal, he came and measured. And the installer (a young man by the name of Brad) came and put in a walk in shower 3 or 4 weeks ago. It took approximately 3 days to do it and we were satisfied with the installation. Everything went according to schedule. The people we dealt with were very good and so far so good. It's a satisfactory experience.

We were out Christmas shopping in Hanes mall in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bath Fitter had a tub sitting out there. We talked to the guy and he said, 'I tell you what, we'll call you in January.' Then they called and set up an appointment. The guy's name escaped me but he was very nice, very informative and I was pleased with the presentation and everything.

We set up that we needed them to come out and put it in when we got back from business trip that we had to take. They came in on Thursday and Friday and we're done. It was six months ago and I did a tub/shower combination. The gentleman that came out and installed it was very nice, very patient (because I know that the inspector was driving him crazy) and he was very good. When he left, everything was nice and clean. We did have to have him come out and tighten something up. My granddaughter and a friend of hers were in the bathroom and the spigot was leaking where the water wasn't supposed to be coming out. We had him come up to tighten that up. Other than that, we haven't had any problems at all.

I had thought about putting in a walk-in tub because I have an 86 year-old-woman who lives here with me and I had checked on prices and stuff and that was ridiculous. I had talked to one of the other companies and they were outrageous also. We wanted to do something with the bathroom but hadn't quite decided what we want to do, and we do plan when we have this one paid off to do our other bathroom.

I've already recommended Bath Fitter to people. I think it was very nice. It was so easy, no stress involved. People like me don't need even more stress.

We had a bathtub and shower replaced by Bath Fitters. The initial experience was good; however, they installed the wrong molding on the shower door 2 times over the past 2 months whereby the shower still leaks. We have tried several times to contact them to correct this problem with no response. During the second attempt to fix the problem, the installer told us that he mentioned to the salesperson that the molding was not the correct molding to use for our particular shower door. However, they installed it anyway.

Sales/Customer Service is the worst I've seen. Once they get your check, they do not follow-up with any subsequent issues. I highly recommend not using Bath Fitter. We will be filing a claim with the BBB if they do not fix this problem. I would love to update this review as soon as Bath Fitter finally fixes this problem. We had a tub replaced with a shower about 2 months ago. Everything they did was superb. We're very satisfied with it.

The reason we decided to make a replacement personally is because I've had a knee replacement and both my wife and I are getting older and we very seldom take a bath but we always take a shower, so we replaced the bath with a shower. We happened to be at BJ's and there was a person there who was standing as you go out. So we stopped to talk to them and they sent a person over who gave us some information and basically offered replacement. It was a very good price. We decided to go with it and had the installation.

The person who did the installation was extremely nice. He was also very efficient and very clean. He cleaned up everything after the installation was done. It was absolutely beautiful and no problems at all. Everything's cleaned very well and everything was on time.

Beware - if it sounds too good to be true, it absolutely is not, good that is! In the past month, we had a reputable plumber and carpenter tear out Bath Fitter’s product that had leaked causing mildew and rot. We found there was no lip on the tub to prevent leaking down all areas of the tub insert. We found that in order to hold the side walls, a thin piece of plywood had been attached to the studs and then double-sided sticky tape was used to adhere the shower walls to this piece of plywood. Consequently, once the tape became damp, it no longer held anything so the walls became loose.

We found that instead of any good caulking being used, everything was stuck on with double-sided black tape, even the shelves at the wall corners. They didn't fall off but the caulking that was used around them became porous and unsightly. Water leaked in between the two tubs and at least once a week had to be drained out. When the tubs were removed, we found more double-sided black tape used to attach the Bath Fitter tub to the original; and again, once it was wet, it no longer held. At a cost of approximately $2,200, we now have a new subfloor, new tub with shower surround that is securely and properly installed.

If you are thinking of using Bath Fitter, don’t believe all the ‘good’ reviews you read. For every good one, there is probably at least one if not more ‘bad’ reviews that you will most likely never see. We absolutely do not recommend this product. Were we to guess, you can most likely have a reliably and properly installed replacement tub and surround (new tub from Home Depot or Lowe’s, paying a plumber and carpenter if necessary) for close to the same amount of money or less than Bath Fitter.

Don’t be fooled by their lifetime warranty. You will most likely need to call them on it and be told it isn't a manufacturing defect so it isn't their fault, and you’re stuck with it or paying more like we had to. We have heard of others who had this same problem with no satisfactory results from Bath Fitter. We did not expect compensation for having Bath Fitter’s product replaced, but the courtesy of a letter of acknowledgement would have been appreciated; but we received no response to our letter thus this review posting.

I have done all the other upgrades in my house and I had already checked into doing different things in the bathroom, but they easily would have taken my bathroom out of commission for a while because I only have one bathroom. I looked into sealing the bathtub and they weren't able to do that because of how close the cabinet was to it. I had a pink tile on there. It was so like 1935. Then I went to a Pet Expo in February. There was a saleswoman there that was very helpful and offered me coupon so I started thinking about it. I had a bid on it before but I thought it was closer to Bath Fitter. I had both of them do a bid probably ten years ago but just because I got the coupons and saw the finished product, it was just time in my life to do it.

That information passed on to the salesman who also lives in my neighborhood. Then I purchased the insert for the bathtub and the wall that covers the tiles from Bath Fitter about a month to a month and a half ago I think. Everybody was very nice and professional and helpful and the guy that installed it, Travis, was neat and tidy and a perfectionist. I'm very happy with the whole thing. It's a nice product.

I've showed it to a number of people in the neighborhood, but no one follows through on it because it's an expensive undertaking so people have to be ready for it. But although it's expensive, I feel like it's worth it because the guarantee comes with it as long as I live in the house. It was positive in every dealing, positive with all the people involved. '

I had a stand up shower done probably last November. We liked that and we decided to do the second one this past week, which was done with a built-in seat because my wife's disabled.

I had no problem on the first one. The second one, the salesman came out and I called the office. Then the man called and said he would check his schedule and check about coming back. After that third week, I hadn't heard from him so I called the collection bill office and told them and they said he'd been in and out of the hospital and they would get someone else call me. Another man called me and he told me he'll get back to me. I never heard so I called and got the manager's name and complained to him about it. He had a salesman come out and said, 'Okay, I'll come out here and do the measurements and everything.' After I finally got it coordinated and had somebody come out, the person who installed the second shower was the same one that did the first one. He took his time. He wanted to check to make sure. He asked us. I would give him a very good rating.

We heard about Bath Fitter when we saw the displays at the Columbia County Fair last November and we asked more details, got the lady's card and everything and we called them and they'd come out and that's the first one. We were just impressed with what we saw at the fair.

I give them a four because of a problem I had getting somebody out here but I would recommend them. In fact, my neighbor went to the fair with us. She saw the displays too and when I had mine done, she had hers done at the same time. I was impressed by the lifetime guarantee of the job the first one, the way it was done, how it looked. That's what sort of steered us towards Bath Fitter.

We have a mobile home - an old one. My father, who just recently passed in December, had contracted Agent Orange so we had to remodel the bathroom for him to be able to get in and out. And the other bathroom was just getting too small for our household. The bathrooms have been there since we bought the house. My father had been working around and he had to shop around. One of the bathrooms was actually to be done through the VA, and Bath Fitter had the best pricing and the best estimate. They came within what we wanted because the VA would do one bathroom, but nobody would do the second bathroom. They were the first one to say they can do both bathrooms, where the charge for the VA for the one bathroom had to be good. Then Bath Fitter gave my father an excellent deal. He got two bathrooms done for less than $5000.

One bathroom was done right before Christmas. The problems that they had to fix, that was something that I don't think they realized. The thing is, they say they can do them in one day. The guy had to take a little extra time so it actually took him two days. So he wasn't able to finish everything in one day. But as far as our experience, so far we are satisfied. Then the other bathroom was just put in in January. We were satisfied, we were happy. But there was a problem with the caulking. And about a couple of weeks ago, the screw was coming out. Bath Fitter came back to fix the problems. They didn't charge for them to come out and fix it. The problems we don't think that should've happened, but they did take care of it. The guy came out yesterday and fixed everything. I actually talked with the man. Very professional.

He was actually on time. He called because he knows we have dogs and everything. So he called to let us know what time he was coming and the time that he said he would be there, he was actually there. He gave us a 15-minute window and he was there within that 15-minute window. And everything was fixed in a very timely manner. We would still recommend them to a family member or a friend. We'd recommend them for business. They really are honest with the work. The one guy that came out here and did the bathrooms is the guy that did the one bathroom. We asked for the same gentleman to come out and do the work, and they sent the same person. Everything that they promise you, they would do.

We were already having a lot of issues in our bathroom so we decided it was time to remodel. Trying to keep the tiles clean was difficult and there was a leak in between the grouting; the water was leaking to the basement. Last August, we purchased a tub overlay and two shelves from Bath Fitter. We couldn't afford a full-fledged remodel so we decided to go with something that will be easy to clean and help us remove the water from the leak.

We were really impressed with our salesman. He was not pushy, which was something we appreciated. He offered his suggestions, like the time I was trying to decide whether to go with a white or a cream-colored tub. He pointed out that my toilet seat and countertop were all white, and he just didn't want me to be unhappy if it doesn't look right. And since we also had some tiles in the bathroom that were colored yellow and blue, I finally decided that white would probably be a better color.

Another company came out to check on things. And like other companies, they sometimes have negative things to say about other products. So we called our salesman with additional questions, and he was happy to honestly answer them. We were very pleased with him and that's one of the reasons why we chose Bath Fitter, other than the product itself. He was unlike the other salesman who came out to look at things and offered similar products with little difference in price. He was very pushy so we were completely turned off.

My husband was pleased on the day of installation. The installer did a good job. He had a lot to do and even put the green board up because there were some parts/pieces missing from the wall where the water leaked in the past. He worked a full day and probably didn't leave until about 5 or so, and we did not hear him complain. I have already recommended Bath Fitter and some of my friends have already decided to go with them. They're very good and thorough with their work and are even appreciative of the sale they've gotten from us. We got the thank you's and things like that that we wouldn't even think of.

We've been thinking of remodeling for quite some time now. We noticed that a crack was starting on our original tub, which was put in when the house was built back in the 70's. It was also starting to form pits in a couple of places and our walls were also caving in. Apparently, there was water leakage behind it and there was no way of getting in to see what was wrong. Unfortunately, we didn't have a little cubby that leads to the plumbing like most people do. Then we saw Bath Fitter when we were out as a family at Sam's. There was a guy there who had a display up. We talked to him and asked how long it would take and how much it was going to cost. He told us he would come down, take some measurements and give us an estimate. I think what sold us to Bath Fitter were the seamless walls; you don't have to worry about water getting in because it has no seams. Also, the salesman that came to our house was fantastic. He held nothing back. He had the correct answers for any questions we had, and it was a pleasant experience. I give him a lot of credit. I know they do a lot of training.

So a little over 6 months ago, we decided to purchase a tub from Bath Fitter, along with a towel rack and a three-tier corner shelf. The guy that came to install them was great. He showed up on time, and he did what he needed to do. He cleaned up everything that he had done. There was no mess afterwards. There was nothing that we had to do for it, except not to use the shower for a couple of days, but that was fine. I love that the tub is very easy to clean. Sometimes, we use Windex to clean it after every shower.

Overall, everything was really fantastic. We wouldn't trade it in for the world. The only complaint we have would be regarding the unreturned call we made a couple of days after our tub was installed. The installer left something behind, a sweatshirt, and we called Bath Fitter when we noticed it the following day. We never got a return call at least to tell us either to forget about it, it's alright, wash it, have fun with it, or whatever. We don't know if our phone call just got lost in the shuffle thing or whatever. I was trying to get a hold of them, and it's just as if they ignored me. I never really followed through either; maybe part of it is my fault. But other than that, everything else went really great.

They were very nice and answered all the questions we had. The installer was very nice and everything was very quick and easy, so we were very happy with that.

But then, he passed me onto someone else to confirm the appointment and that man insisted that my husband be present. Bath Fitter has lost me as a prospective customer. I will be making the choice of style and material. I will be paying the bill (cash). My husband does not have to be involved nor does he want to be. He is agreeable to whatever I select. For Pete's sake, I have purchased a car without my husband being involved. This is merely a tub liner. Bath Fitter better learn to respect women and learn to work with them. We ordered a shower stall. The rep measured the old one several times before putting in the order. We were told 4-6 weeks before we would have it in. 8 weeks later, we received a call to schedule install. 4 weeks later, the new shower stall was installed. We had completely removed the old stall and the entire bathroom was renovated so the new stall had nothing in the room so that the work people could easily install. We used the new stall and looking at it, you didn't realize that the stall was much smaller than the old one. If you bent over, the door flew open.

When we complained, we were told they would get back to us, and they were looking into it. This started in April 2011 and the larger stall wasn't installed until December 2011. However, we had to accept a different model since the one we wanted was not available in the larger size. The model we had to take was the one I told them I didn't want but was forced to take since they already had my money and my bathroom was not usable with the small shower.

I requested credit for all time they took to resolve even though it wasn't with the right stall and we have no idea if this other stall was a cheaper one than the one we ordered. Their attitude was that they would offer a small credit and we could take it or leave it. They wanted us to sign that we wouldn't tell anyone about this; we refused to sign anything.

How can this company advertise one day install when this is how they operate? I contacted the AG's office but they couldn't do anything. I was told to take them to court. I would have put in this complaint last year but due to family illness, it wasn't possible. This was with the Bath Fitter out of Woburn, MA. I have gone to the Home Show in Salem, NH and thought they were a reputable firm - they're not.

We are really enjoying our walk-in shower. I only met two of the Bath Fitters' employees, the sales representative and the installer, and both were terrific. They were professional but personable. Everything was explained clearly, including what to expect. The installation went smoothly, even though we were replacing a very old bath tub, wall tile and drain problems. The installer took extreme care when transporting the material (upstairs) and wasted no time transforming the old outdated bathroom into a convenient and visually pleasing place. I would certainly recommend Bath Fitters. It was worth the cost!

It's been two or three months now since Bath Fitter installed a tub with a shower in it and the surround that goes on the wall, plus a corner shelf unit. My wife said our old bathroom was ugly, and it was. It was very stained no matter what we did (an atomic bomb when you got that thing). Anyway, it was time.

I had heard good things about BathFitter. At the time I was doing some remodeling in other parts of the house, I figured, well, let me talk to my brother because he had his bathroom done by them. He was very satisfied with it. Aside from him, there was one or two other people I had talked to and they said they had done the same thing. Bath Fitter also advertised the most, so they were the best/well known to me. I mean there are other people out there that do that type of work, but when you see Bath Fitter's advertisement, it sticks in your head compared to maybe one of another company.

The installation took two days, but only because it was raining the day that they started. And it wasn't supposed to rain that day, but it did. And the man (I can't remember his name) was very apologetic about it. He told me the reason why he couldn't put the tub liner in (the replacement part) was because it has to sit out for a while and if it shut out when it'd gotten the rain, it would get completely warped and it wouldn't fit and it would be just a terrible thing.

He said to me, 'Would you please mind if I come back tomorrow? When I go back to the shop this afternoon, I will get it formed, get it molded and fitted and everything. Tomorrow when I come back, I'll just have to glue it in.' He said it should be an hour, or an hour and a half. I said, 'No problem. Just do what you need to do and make sure it comes out right.' When he came back, he had the tub and he put it in there and it just makes it look like it's a whole brand new bathroom. I mean it looks like it's 10 hundred thousand percent better!

My wife and I are extremely satisfied / ecstatic with it and already told a couple of people about it. Outstanding.

Bath Fitter canceled the appointment when I said he would not be there. Too bad because it so happens I make 100% of the money and 100% of the financial decisions in the family. I don't need their special financing package and I was ready to get it done! It's clear they are only interested in the sale, not the customer. We moved in this house this year. This house was built in 1960 and it still had the original bathtub. It was never really a shower, so we wanted to convert it to a bathtub/shower combo. Also, it was pink, which my husband hates. So we were thinking of either painting it, but then there was no wall - there was just wallpaper... Then we saw Bath Fitter's demonstration at the Iowa State Fair.

The person demonstrating it didn't do it at my area, so we called someone local. Or, I think we went online and they sent someone locally to do it. We were going to do either BathFitter or ReBath, but Bath Fitter gave us an estimate first. So in November, we ordered a new bathtub plus the tub liner and the walls that go on it and the one shelf that came with the package. The lady came in, told us about it, and did a really good job.

The installation was great. By the time it was done, my husband came home from work, so the installer was able to tell both of us about how to clean it and all that stuff. A few facts that I appreciated, any time they came out, their car would say BathFitter. You knew who it was. I really appreciated the entire thing. It was good. I would definitely do it again or I would definitely recommend it. If we had another bathtub that needed replacing, we would definitely go with Bath Fitter.

So we signed up to have a salesperson come out and give us the old sales pitch; this was in August. He came out and gave us the dog and pony show which was fine. We found that we could replace our 1960s tub that when you used the shower, the tub faucet still poured out water. It was supposed to be a two-day process. On the first day, a plumber came and replaced the old faucets and any piping that needed to be replaced and put up the new wall board which went very well and was done in just a few hours.

On the second day, they showed up and started the process of getting the old tub out and were supposed to put in the new tub and finish the walls and repair some damage they did, in the process, only to find the new tub did not fit. Remember the tubs and wall are built custom by Bath Fitter. Well, the original sales guy measured totally wrong and the tub was not going to fit as the new tub was too big. Okay, I understand mistakes happen. My dad taught me to measure twice, cut once.

I guess Bath Fitter has not heard that yet. So here is where it gets fun. The sales guy was not taking any blame for his mistake and blamed it all on the installer. They were literally screaming and cussing at each other in my house. I thought I was going to have to break up a fight. Bath Fitter or the original sales guy were no help other than making us feel like it was our fault that they screwed up. Lucky for us, though, the installer was a really nice guy and if it were not for him, I think we would still have a half finished tub.

The arguing and bickering lasted until late September/early October when it was finally decided that the installer was to go to Menards and buy the cheapest tub that would fit in its place. "They were sick of us calling trying to find out what was going on," a direct quote from the sales guy, but the company was never in communication with us. We had to call them. From August to late September, we had a half finished tub, a missing part of our wall that they had to tear out and we don't even have a Bath Fitter tub. Yet, they still charged us the same price. We were never given an apology or offered any type of discount from the company. I would never recommend this crummy company to anyone. I laugh when I see them doing their sales pitch at trade shows. Stay away from this company.

About 6 or 7 months ago, we saw Bath Fitter at a local mall and what they offered looked wonderful. The thought of a liner appealed to me since we didn't want to redo the entire bathroom. They were also offering a guarantee on the plumbing behind the wall. I believe it was a lifetime guarantee, which was a huge selling point for me. I talked to the sales guy on the spot and we scheduled something out. I ended up purchasing a tub, a shower and some shelves from them. We decided to remodel because our bathroom is already outdated. We initially had some work done on the shower so all the old tiles were busted open in order to get the fixtures out. There was no way we could have matched the old tiles so it seemed like a great option to fit everything with what Bath Fitter would do for us.

I was thrilled that it only took them a day to complete everything. We had some questions on the day of installation and they were able to accommodate and address our concerns. My handicapped mother uses the shower more frequently than anyone else in the house, and because she has swollen feet, she can't grip and still finds the floor slippery despite the textured bottom. They came out and put in a more gritty finish to ensure that she doesn't run into any accident. They also replaced some crooked cracks with no problems. It was great and it looked really pretty.

I ordered a tub insert and tile surround, and we got the tile finish (Italian marble) from Bath Fitter. I had my bathroom remodeled back in 2009 because my tile wall was falling apart. When the guy from Bath Fitter came, they removed the tiles and found that the wall behind it was soaked and moldy. While waiting for them to get the parts that they needed, which was approximately a 3-week wait, I tried to dry the wet wall by putting a fan in front of it. I also placed some plastic sheets on the wall so that we wouldn't add any more water to it whenever we take a shower. I actually like the guy they sent over to do the installation. I had no problems interacting with them and they answered all my questions. I even asked the guy if I could watch him repair the walls since I couldn't imagine how they were going to fix it. I watched almost the entire day. They installed the Italian marble tiles I ordered and it was beautiful; it still looks like brand new today.

I can't say a negative thing about them, I really can't. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I actually recommended Bath Fitter to my sister-in-law who also had a problem with her bathroom that was falling apart. Prior to Bath Fitter, she hired a tile contractor, actually a plumber in the area. When I found out how much they were going to charge her, I talked her into cancelling it and consider going with Bath Fitter. I showed her Bath Fitter online and taught her how to build her own set-up on the computer, even up to the point of putting in faucets and soap dispensers. She called them and they came over. They had the color and the kind of tile she wanted, and they even convinced her to put up a shower stall. She got all of this for approximately $4,500 cheaper than what the tile contractor was going to charge her.

Bath Fitter can do everything in one day - they come in the morning and they're done in the late afternoon or early evening. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience with Bath Fitter. I love them.

What Bath Fitter did was they converted my garden tub to a 7-ft. shower less than a month ago. In the corner I had shelves put in, with the bottom shelf being so you could pick up a foot and shave your leg, and two grab bars. I thought it would be much safer for me to do this because of my age and it was too hard to get up on the step and get up over into the bathtub I had to take a shower; and I had press on in holds, but they don't really work very good; and I got a coupon in the mail that said, 'Oh, you're getting so much.'' I know people who have used them before and they were very happy, and it was at the time I guess I was thinking about doing it and I happened to get a coupon in the mail. So I thought why procrastinate, why not call them before I slide in my tub? So I called them and they came within a day.

The sales team - he was very, very good. He came and we sat down. He showed us all kind of products that he had and what we could get, to pick some; and the approximate course that it would be until I decided what I wanted. Then he called afterwards and asked if everything was all right, and besides that, he even sent a thank you note to me. Then they came the following week.

We were gonna do one thing and I really didn't want to rip off the tile in the rest of my bathroom, so the installers said, 'Well, how about this?' And right in the middle of it, he was able to make a change for me and it worked out really fine. I think it was fantastic. They said they're gonna be done in a day and a half, and they were. I was very, very happy with it. They were in, they cleaned up all the mess, and they were out of here. I just had to wait 24 hours for all the caulking to dry and I could get into my shower and it was wonderful. I would recommend Bath Fitter.

When we were doing ours, looking into it and whatnot, because of their commercials, we called them to see what they had to offer. And we liked what Bath Fitter had to offer. So last month we had a shower enclosure and a tub enclosure installed, plus seats, extra shelves and bath bars and grab bars. They were helpful. The installers were courteous and they weren't sloppy; they didn't leave a mess behind. It was a very professional job. My husband and I were really pleased, so pleased that we got one for my mother-in-law. Very, very satisfied.

The house was falling down. We had planned on selling it and going travelling and stuff, but we had a problem with the foundation. And the insurance wouldn't cover it... We had to start over again. We were able to get a home line of equity credit and basically just started over. We did a shower stall and had a seat put in about two months ago. It was finished within a day, like they said it would be. They did excellent work. The people that came out were extremely nice. We're so happy with the bathroom, we're like, ''Why didn't we do this 30 years ago?'' It was expensive, but it seems to be worth every penny.

One of the factors we chose Bath Fitter was the fact that it would be done in a day. The other factors were we liked what we saw. We came out and they explained to us what was available. We made our choices and looked at the materials. It's easy and perfectly acceptable.

We purchased a tub-shower combo from Bath Fitter less than six months ago. We've been in the house for 20 years and the whole bathroom area needed to be redone. The ordering process went well. We went to the store, saw what we wanted to get, and they came down and explained everything to us. They did the measurements, ordered all the materials that we needed. A month later, we had it installed. The installer did a very good job. He cleaned up after himself. They had to come back out once to re-caulk one area, and I didn't have any problems any time getting them out here in a timely manner. We just chose them out of the blue. That was it. We had a contractor do the rest of the bathroom, but they took care of the bath-shower issue. They did an excellent job. Great product.

Our bathroom was starting to look ugly. And I wanted a one-piece shroud; I didn't want 3 pieces. That's why I went with Bath Fitter - it was all one piece. They put in a shower shroud and a shower door and fixtures - it goes around the window. This was done August last year. It was fantastic. The salesman did a good job. And the two guys who were here, they knew what they were doing. They were clean. And I had trouble with it after they installed. It had a little leak and I called them about it. And they went back down in two days and fixed the leak. And around the shroud door, they got the leak fixed. They did a great job. We like it. We love it. It's easy to take care of.

It's an older home and it just needed to be updated. Bath Fitter did a good work and that's why I had them come back a second time. The installers were very friendly. They were very nice young men. I purchased two showers and shelves from Bath Fitter about 3 years ago. We just returned from overseas and we're kinda gotten our place and doing everything. The reason why we went with Bath Fitter was because they were very easy to clean and maintain. My wife says she absolutely loves them, actually. I usually see them on TV or got an ad in the mail, one of the two. We were here when the installers were here. Everything was professional; everything was done on time. They made sure that nothing else got damaged and didn't track anything through the house and all that kinda good stuff. They also did the demolition of the old showers. It's a great product. Everything was very satisfactory. My experience is exactly as they advertised it; good and positive experience with a good and positive product.

My wife made an appointment for Bath Fitter to meet her at a condo she rents out in order to get an estimate on a tub. (The present one is cast iron and she wants it fitted with a covering because it's been painted and looks awful but replacement is not practical.) The day before the appointment, Bath Fitter called (my wife wasn't home) to say both of us needed to be there. I had other obligations and said I couldn't be there, and they said we couldn't get the estimate without both of us present. I explained that she is the one who makes all of the decisions about the rental property, but that didn't matter to them.

I agreed to be there so as to not cancel the appointment, knowing how important this was to my wife. I was already getting really bad vibes about these people, since they were using all sorts of excuses for why we both had to be there (they even went so far as to say it wasn't really up to the company), and my wife said she didn't want me to waste my time. So I called them back to say we couldn't both be there. After reading some of the posts on here about the way women had been treated, I decided to tell them that I could be there but not my wife. The guy on the phone said we both had to be there.

So in their defense, I have to say they were just as unreasonable when it was a matter of the wife not being there as it was in the case of the husband not being present; they are equal-opportunity time-wasters. In fact, they are clearly focused on their sales pitch more than anything. It was as if they were going to sell us a timeshare rather than a bathtub makeover. Anyway, when I said we couldn't both be there, the guy asked when would be more convenient, and I responded that it never would be, that we weren't trying to set up an appointment for both of us. That's when the guy lost all interest and said good-bye. I'm glad we don't have to deal with them again, but I still feel dirty having spent so much time arguing with them over the phone. We will look for a contractor who respects us and who takes pride in his or her ability to address our remodeling needs. Good riddance, Bath Fitter!

It was the original bathtub and I had this rust occurring and could never get it out. And I know when we go to resell the house, we would remodel anyway. From the get go, the salesman that came to give us a free estimate was exceptional and the guy that installed it was. However, after about a month after they installed it, the drain started filling up, like it was clogged up. I just thought it was time to get the hair out so I had somebody come out. There was a bunch of silicone stuff stuck in there. They pulled that out, showed me the correct way to do the drain and stuff like that. They gave me a paper on cleaning products to use and not use, and I like that. So, it went really well. When I had the trouble, I called Bath Fitter and they came out. And then the sales guy that came for the first visit came like it was in a couple of months and he asked how everything was and took pictures in the bathroom and such.

I saw their big ad with a coupon in our Reach Magazine and I just thought, well okay, we'll get a couple of estimates. He came out. My husband and I sat with him at the kitchen table and he showed us the estimate. And I guess, we just thought, okay, that's lower than what we thought it would be, and we decided not to go with another estimate. So, we went with Bath Fitter simply because that's all they do. They're exceptional. There's nothing negative really.

But we didn't need any tiling or flooring or anything like that. The order went fine. The plumber came out and installed them. He did a good job and that was it. We're getting ready to sell the house in about three or four or five years, but bathrooms are the one thing people want to have updated, looking good and it's so nice this way. So, we hired Bath Fitter to install a bathtub, and the wall is going around three sides and on up to the ceiling. We also added a grab bar and shelves for soap and stuff. It's sort of a complete unit and boy, it looks so much better. They're the only ones that do this type of thing. I did check on people who do home repair and stuff and that type and they say, 'It will cost you about $10,000 because we have to take out the entire old bathtub, rip it out and then we got to re-do the surfacing and then we got to go in and get a new one put in.' This comes in and this was for maybe I think $4,000 in all. Way less and much better and easier to do and it will last nicely. We didn't have to tear out anything.

The installation was 3 months ago. They came over and they measured everything, the size of the tub that would fit there and the width and the length and all the other dimensions. They took lots and lots of measurements. And then we have to wait for I'd say about two or three months because everything is custom done. And then when they brought the unit, they had two guys come and the bathtub was sort of one unit and the rest was the other one. Then they had a plumber come in and that was nice. The plumber knew what to do to take the existing plumbing and just adjust a little bit so that it came out what it's supposed to. Everything was finished within the one day, a long day but they were done by about 5-5:30 in the afternoon. Then another guy, he was doing everything. Once I saw it, it was seamless. It looked as though it had just all been one complete unit and the molding. Nicely done. Highly favorable.

I weigh 300 lbs and I couldn't lift up my leg over the tub anymore. I had a shoulder surgery replacement on November 3rd 2011. And there's no way that I could do the tub anymore and even the shower rather, because I had to reach way up to my shower head. I said forget it. It was a big health reason. So, I purchased the walk-in shower with the glass door from Bath Fitter, and you only have to step up maybe an inch. I had it done 3 years ago. I love it. The only thing I didn't like is I had to wait a long, long time for the correct seat to be attached to the wall. Because of my weight, they couldn't take any chances on a not wide enough seats. But they never told me that. Then I got a little upset at that because I had waited, waited, waited and wait. The shower was all done, but I couldn't use it because there was no seat. And that's fine. They finally got the seat in from I think Great Britain or something. And I'm like well, at least they found one. I've had many, many wonderful days knowing that I could take a shower and not go in the tub anymore.

The corner has four little shelves that goes with that shower. I had a grab bar put on right underneath my window so when I sit in the chair against the wall, I can get up by holding that bar to the left of me. And I had a shelf put under there to hold my shampoo and my soap. I also had a very long hose, because I don't use the shower head. I use the hose and they clipped on a little bracket to hold the hose and it's great. So all I got to do is get up and turn the hot water on and wait until it gets hot.

The man that sold me the shower, I was so happy that he did that I called him four times and he never called me back. I just got it. I wanted to tell him how nice it was, but he never called me back and I wondered why. But the guy that did my installation was the best (his name was Joe). He's a little energetic, knows-what-he's-doing guy. But he didn't want to be told what to do and I wasn't telling him what to do. But I did have one thing to tell him that my son came up and inspected it. He inspected and he was supposed to put like the glue around the window, the glass block window that was already there. But those aren't big complaints; those are just salesman things, like the guy should have called me back and Joe was like getting all excited.

It was a recommendation from a friend that I chose Bath Fitter, and then I did get some money off when they got here. Then because I had to wait for my chair to come forever, I demanded money off because I thought that was false advertisement. They said 'We're in and out two days.' It didn't happen with me. It was more like four weeks. But overall, it's been more convenient. I give them five stars, as long as they get the right guy to install it.

My first experience with Bath Fitter and I could not be more impressed!

I applied online on my lunch hour at work requesting a consultation, and by the time I returned home, Jen had already tried to contact me to set up an appointment. Great response time!

Mike ** arrived, as scheduled and on time, and the fact he had previously done installations was such a bonus in his sales representative capacity as he was able to answer every question I had and with such confidence there was really no decision to make other than to go ahead with the shower surround and to give Bath Fitters my business. Mike represents your company so well and speaks very highly of the entire team. Nice to hear that and quite rare these days. I really appreciated that he took his time while I made my decision on what I wanted. I did not feel any pressure, and yet when I asked for his advice, he gave me some very good suggestions of things to consider that I might not have thought of otherwise. It was thanks to Mike pointing out that my tub had a slight tilt to the left that suggesting going with large tiles would be preferable to going with small tiles and he was absolutely right!

I was not in the house when Brandon did the work (I had someone house sit for me), but they told me he arrived right on time, worked very quietly, and the only noise they heard was him vacuuming (they thought) when the job was done. I had the pleasure of returning from work that afternoon to a completed job and could not tell anyone had even been there; he left the bathroom in such good shape. I also appreciated Jen’s phone call the day before to re-confirm that Brandon would be there by 9:00 (and he was).

My overall impression of Bath Fitters is just so positive! You certainly know how to run a business and excellent customer service is not so easy to find these days. I had been referred to you by two separate friends who have used Bath Fitter services in the past and had the same accolades about your company. I am now talking up Bath Fitters with everyone I can at work and beyond.

I love my new bath surround and I thank you, Mike, Brandon and Jen for truly providing the wow factor.

And a friend of mine had just had BathFitter put in for her family; she told me they were fabulous and clean but a little more expensive than some other people that did the same thing. When she said that, I called Bath Fitter and I had them come out and give me an estimate. It was between doing tile or doing that. And I like the idea that it was one day. So, I had them install a bathtub and a liner and one shelf. Actually, next week it will be a year.

I could have gone to Home Depot and then I have to wait for somebody to come out or look around. That's what made me think they have their product the way he was describing their product. It's also a lifetime guarantee. If we sold the condo, it's still covered. And the other thing is, it's comparable because I did talk to someone between the time that I came and between when the salesman came the next day. It's probably neck and neck if you did tile because of the labor.

The sales guy was great. He gave me a price and he wasn't pushy. I was fine with everything. I said I just have to think about it overnight and I called him the next day. He was great. He knew his product. He knew what I was trying to do. And I was three quarters on the way there because of my friend. The person who came out, he was excellent. He knew what he was doing. He was clean, neat. He was there just about 12 hours. They were excellent to work with and efficient and time effective - that was very important to me.

I've seen Bath Fitter's advertisements on television and I had a couple of friends in Arlington and Fremont who had had them and had put them in. I was impressed with the workmanship and the product itself and the price too, so I went with them. All I had there before was a big shower with two molded seats because about 15 years ago right after we sold our business, my husband had a massive stroke. We had to sell our house in Arlington because it wasn't handicap-accessible. We had this house over here we were building anyway, so we just put in a huge shower with two molded seats and everything where I could get in there and get him in there and give him a shower and take him out well. Then after, he passed away about four years ago. I didn't have a tub in the house because I can only spend so much money on building the home and that would have meant another bathroom and another plumbing. But this worked perfectly because Bath Fitter, they came and they just took the shower out and they could use the existing tile above it, and all the plumbing and everything was right there and put me in this beautiful tub shower and wall surround and everything. Oh, I just love it. I was so pleased and so amazed. I enjoy the tub, setting and soaking. It's awesome.

I come from a family who are plumbers, electricians, who build homes and who are general contractors so I kind of know about all those things. They were so professional. They came in the morning. They were very careful about my woodwork and all the surrounding areas and the tile on the floor. They tore everything out and recycled it and took it with them and put everything back in a day and cleaned up after themselves. I was so pleased and so impressed.

Bath Fitter redid my shower and placed some wainscoting on the wall for me. They replaced the valve and put a little thing in the corner for soaps and shampoos and things like that. I guess it's been 3 to 4 weeks now since I had it installed. We've been here 35 years; it was time to remodel. It's more of aesthetics than everything else. I talked to a few people who had used them and I've read some of their advertising and things like that - seeing what they did and reading about it, looking at at least two other jobs that they had done. And then a friend of ours, they got a place down the beach and he had Bath Fitter come in down there and do a little job for him; I had looked at that and kinda liked what they had done.

If I hadn't already made my mind up that this is what I wanted, I probably would have not done it. If it was pending on the salesperson to make the sale, he wouldn't have made the sale. He seemed like he was in a hurry. He kept saying that he had another appointment. And then to top it all, he tried to sell me a flooring product for another contractor that Bath Fitter has nothing to do with. In fact, he had four samples and he had the whole thing that was set up. He actually said at one point 'Now, this will be through another contractor but here are the samples for the floor and blah, blah.' And then he told me that one thing that I wanted done in the bathroom he said I couldn't do. They don't do that as far as shape that I wanted.

The installer, a little young boy that actually did the work, he's great. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give him a solid 9. When the installer came, he said he can do it with no problem. It was just night and day difference. I told my wife if the installer comes with the same attitude as the salesman, they're out of here. But he was a great kid. He's done a great job. We were tickled with the work that he'd done. But as far as the salesman, if I had to do anything else, I will tell them don't send the same salesman. But again, the installer was great. We really like him - good personality, laid the mats down, kept the house clean the whole nine yards. He was super.

The guy that came and actually did the 'presell' was fantastic. He was a hell of a nice guy. He came in and he was very obliging and told us everything we needed to know. And we picked what we wanted and that was it. Then, we made a day for him to come to put it in. It went along really good. It was a one-day install, which was fantastic. The guy that did it, you could tell that he did this work in the past. He had the tools to do it; he had the tools to fix the plumbing and the whole nine yards. That's one of the reasons why we went there in the first place. Clean, neat and tidy. Professional. Everything went really well.

You do your research from local people that you know had Bath Fitter in previously. I myself spoke to other people that had it done. It says it's very easy, so we decided to get the tub and the shower from them and purchased soap racks and grab bars on top of that. It was like not a big deal. We didn't even compare prices and everything. If we should have, I don't know. So we didn't.

On the day of the installation, people saw what they were doing; they were very efficient. No one likes disruption in their routine. And this was the least amount of disruption. It was very... benign. Also, the installer was very, very nice. He even asked since he wanted a cold drink or something like that. And he is very laid back. He didn't dirty up the place or anything like that, if you don't like to mess your stuff. They'd also cleaned up when they left.

They're really good (lots of experience). I sent them a note saying how Bath Fitter is a modern company with old-fashioned values. And by old-fashioned values I mean more modern obviously - it's a modern company but with old-fashioned values. They came on time. They came when they were supposed to. They were polite and all other things you'd associate with good old olden days. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought a shower, tub, and the liner (I'm guessing maybe 2 or 3 years ago). This is a replacement over an existing one, which was of cheaper quality. It wasn't that good. I thought it needed remodeling. It needed to have something done. In addition, I bought a 4-shelf corner shelf from them. The reason I chose Bath Fitter was because somebody else we'd met recommended them to me and I can't remember who it was. It was either that or the fact that I felt they were reputable, for some reason. I just wouldn't go ahead and look up in the phonebook and say, 'Oh, I'm getting this guy.' I had to have a reason to have faith in them.

What really stood out to me is their accuracy. One guy came and he did the measuring. He measured it all up. As you can imagine, there's no room for any amount of error and it wouldn't be great otherwise. The guy who came and did the measurement was the same guy that came and did the install. He was a real nice guy, good guy. The day he came here, I talked to him on the phone and he was banged up with all these measurements. And he just did a top-notched job - he did a beautiful job.

As a matter of fact, in my application, I have a toilet between the tub and the sink; where the toilet is, the installer put a backsplash behind the toilet, underneath, from the floor up, under the foot, which I wanted him to do. It was beautiful. And the other guy, he was in and out. Beautiful, clean job when he left. They're just professional as anybody could be. I have got nothing but good to say about this company.

I'm not saying I didn't get good satisfaction from other companies, but it was the one company that I have no problem whatsoever recommending to anyone. As a matter of fact, somebody else I knew needed an overhaul and I recommended Bath Fitter and the installer. The same guy went to their place and they had the same results. They had the same feeling about the individual who came. This guy was able to please the customer.

I'm 100% satisfied and have nothing but respect for the company.

We had Bath Fitter redo the tub and walls about 18 years ago; the trim has yellowed out badly now, and they won't honor the 'lifetime' warranty because the franchise we bought it from went out of business. I'm not paying a trip charge of $79.95 for $6.00 worth of trim. Thanks for wasting my time, Bath Fitter. I'll make sure I tell all my clients not to bother to use you.

Just from the looks of our old tub and shower stuff, we decided to remodel. We just happened to be wandering within Walmart when my wife saw Bath Fitter, so that's why we went with them. We purchased a tub and shower and a couple of grab bars and some shelvings about a year ago. It was done quickly in one day like they said and other than that, it came out looking nice. Well done. We like the products. And the installers were great.

The person who put it in was nice and friendly, got the job done and did a good job. He also cleaned up after himself. It was a very good experience.

Up here, the house is over 50 years old. And the tiles fell down in the shower. So I figured I'm gonna see what to do here. (How much longer can you wait?) And then I said, 'Let me see what the television keeps on saying. Let me see what the Better Business Bureau has to say about this.' And they told me they'd put a very good report about the Bath Fitter. (One place that I called - I forgot about them right away, because I didn't like it at all.)

And then down the street here, a house had a Bath Fitter, and I stopped and I said to him, 'Do you work all year round on this?' He said yes. This was summertime that I saw them. I said, 'Well, I don't know. I'm thinking here and there about it.' And before I could think any longer, I had this problem with the tiles. He gave me a card (where to call). And when this happened, I just called up and he came down. He came to see me about the bathtub, to install it and all. He measured this and that. He gave me the price and we set up a date. As I remember, I think this was right before Thanksgiving that I had them here. I think his name was Ray. The last name was **.

They said it's lifetime guarantee as long as you use Clean Shower and so forth and so on. I only use Clean Shower in the bathtub area. (However, at this stage that I'm in - I'm over 70, I'm not gonna worry whether it lasts to be over 50 years or not because I'm not gonna be around that long.) With the old one, every time we took shower, there were mildew spots on the tiles. I was cleaning mildew everyday on the ceiling of the tiles in the bathtub. We took Clean Shower, sprayed it on, and then with the showerhead sprayed it off to take off the mildew on the tiles constantly. I mean, who wants to be cleaning like this all the time? Not me. You got to do things. It's enough that the Passover is coming at the end of the month. I don't do this all the time, but I was doing it for almost, I would say, about 2 or 3 years already. It's a good cleaning almost every day. Who wants to be cleaning like this every day? Even if you don't work - I don't work anymore, of course - but still who wants to be doing that? You'd like to be doing other things.

I tell you it's less care than the old one to be honest with you. I don't have a drop. I mean, you see a couple of splashes, but I mean there's no mildew whatsoever. I haven't had any problem with it at all. And I'm really very pleased. In fact, I called up Mr. ** from Bath Fitter. He wasn't in. He wasn't answering his telephone, so I just left him a message: 'There's no need to call me, but I just want to let you know that I'm very pleased with the job that was done.' I'm very pleased with the job that they did.

We didn't want to spend all the time taking all that tile out. I wanted it to look fresh and clean, but it also looks stunning. They did an amazing job. So, I am very happy. The people that came, the product and everything - it's fabulous. I think they were just darling. As a matter of fact, we did a second bathroom with them in my mother's apartment. It really looks great. It's a fabulous product. I never would've believed it. I had a great experience. I would say anything good for Bath Fitter.

I had a replacement tub, siding and shower installed by Bath Fitter plus one grab bar and one rack that you could put soap and shampoo on. This was done a year and a half ago. First of all, everything went like clockwork. We saw them at a demonstration with their ad set up. We just happened to be walking by and there was somebody out there with a Bath Fitter. My wife had been nagging so I said, 'Hey, go talk to them.' She did. Probably within the week the salesperson came by and measured and took numbers and showed us some book of what flavors we could get and so forth. We picked and we had them look at a couple of other things around the house. We picked the bath tub surround that they did. Probably within a week or two, they basically set the schedule. We did two tub units in two days. Yes, they came in one day, knocked out one and I don't think we did them back to back because that's a work-related thing. But it was I could be off this day and I could be off this day. And that was all good and they did it.

My first worry is obviously 'How do you get a fiber glass tub out in and not make a big, dusty mess?' And they did - they got a big fiber glass tub out and did not make a big, dusty mess. They did all that cuts right there behind their truck in my driveway and brought the pieces in and assembled. So I had no complaints about them. What was cool was the guy showed me the wall behind, because there were kinds of things you don't know if you have rot or anything. They showed us, 'Hey, I got the wall out. Take a look.' Everything was good back there, so I was kind of happy and they closed everything up.

I definitely am not angry with the experience, and my only concern about recommending to anybody is it was expensive. That was probably the only thing, but it was quick. So had I hired a contractor to do that, I probably could have saved (I don't know) two or three thousand dollars; but I couldn't get it done in a day. I think it's one of those I would tell friends to look at it, but I will also tell them that it's going to be more expensive.

My wife is somewhat impulsive when she nags. She would be nagging about 'I don't like the bathroom' for I don't know how long. It's been fine with me because I'm a guy, but she didn't like them. I showed her something, she picked it and they came by. When I was told what the price would be, I was kind of 'No, I don't think so.' But she wanted to do it, so I said, 'Knock it out.' It's over with, but that's the only concern that I thought - that it was expensive. I would say everything was great. I had no problem with Bath Fitter. We had two bathrooms in the house that they've done, so I'm not planning on having them come back. If my wife wasn't as impulsive and wanted to do it then, we would have researched a couple of places. But the options were then yeah, you could save a couple of thousand dollars because you might not be able to use your bathroom for a week. And that really wasn't an option, because also I couldn't stay at home for a week and watch all of them work. So when we put all of those together, this was probably the best fit for me.

I think everything worked well. That's what you get when you get a special big company. When you get a special company to do one thing that they do well, it's going to be more expensive than a a couple of persons coming by and taking three or four days to do it.

A friend of mine actually had Bath Fitter; I talked to them about their experience first. My bathroom has been there for a long time and it's getting kind of shabby looking, so a few months ago, we had Bath Fitter install a tub and surround, down the tub up to the ceiling, plus a soap bar and a grab bar. The wall and tub were fine. It wasn't broken or anything like that, so to me it was a lot easier to cover over with the way they do it than to rip everything out and start from scratch and fill it back in. That makes an awful mess.

The process was really great right from the start. The guy came in and was there for 5 hours but no mess. Everything's done perfectly, so I would recommend Bath Fitter to anyone. Very good. I have no complaints whatsoever.

We hadn't remodeled our bathroom for 37 years, so I had Bath Fitter put in a tub plus finishing touches, such as grab bars, shelves, shower curtain bar (maybe that comes with it automatically) last June. I chose Bath Fitter because it was just so easy and so well presented. We've gone into hardware stores. We've been in and out when we remodeled the other bedrooms, the hallway and the porch. We were in and out looking for the best buy. At no time were we under the impression that we could've done better financially than we did. It is cheaper to do it yourself, right? But if you're not able to carry your tub or work over, it was better to have it professionally done like that. We just kind of thought along the way that if we had to hire different people to come in and deliver, it would have been just as expensive.

I found out about them through a home show. They said, ''Did you want a free quote?'' So I wrote them yes, so then they telephoned to set up a convenient time. Everything was very professional. A very young man came out and showed me what was available. I said we didn't want to take the cheapest one because I like the pattern on the next one out, because that's what I saw on the home show. They were not pushy. I felt like it was a two way conversation.

The young man who did the measuring was very personable. The man who came to install was extremely knowledgeable. Ours is an older home and there were some damage in the hind. After he got that out, I decided to go with the ceiling thing too - with the plastic ceiling on it. I'm really glad I did. The top where the whole thing was, we felt so good about it. We felt how good the bathroom that we continued the rest of summer to do the hallway, two small bedrooms and the downstairs porch. It's just that the old house hadn't had anything down to it for so long. And then everything was looking so good we decided just to keep on going.

I am very, very impressed with Bath Fitter. The young man who did the work would talk to me about it as he went along and for just a minute or two then he went back to work. He was just all very friendly as well as professional. My experience was very positive and I trust them. I trusted that I was making a decision that they went along. He recommended to put the roof on the tub ceiling because our old house doesn't have very good ventilation. That was something I was thinking about and wanted it. But then when he said that that would only be his recommendation, of course I jumped because I wanted it anyway.

Last February I purchased a shower from Bath Fitter plus glass doors and shelves. Everything was ideal. I can't speak more highly of the gentleman that came initially to see exactly what I wanted and take measurements and that sort of thing. I felt like he didn't come to sell me something but rather that he came to make sure I got what I wanted. I don't think I can speak more highly of that guy in his position doing his job that way. So I'm very satisfied with him. I think his name is John.

The actual installation took all day. It was done by a young man. He's very polite and courteous, very quiet. When he said he was done, which was gosh, it was getting dark I think he got here at 8 in the morning. He must have put in a good 10-hour day. Sometime out for lunch, I saw him eating but don't know how long. He just constantly kept working at what he's doing. When I first went up and looked at what he's done, I was moved by the perfection and beauty of it. I couldn't have been happier with what I saw.

I came across an article where it showed pretty much what I wanted and it said $500 off so I thought I'll give them a call. That's how I got involved. I called that number and everything worked out. Fantastic for a business situation. It couldn't have been better.

I have been in this house for a while and I've just been wanting to remodel and change the bathroom.

I went to the state fair and got to talk to the actual people and they gave us the appointment or the phone number and then we called. And then we went from there, and the lady came and had the meeting and gave us information on the choices and then we scheduled everything. They were very nice and worked very hard, did everything we asked them to do. And it was in good time, the time they said they would be done before the holidays and stuff. We've purchased a couple of things from Bath Fitter, so this is our second time around. The first product several years ago, we did a bath tub, shower, and now we just did a shower most recently. The second one was just a couple of months ago (we had it done around Christmas time), and the first one probably was about maybe 5 years ago. If you would have seen the way the bathroom looked, you would have been remodelling also - it was time to fix it up.

Their customer service is phenomenal, and I'm a real critic. I'm a vice president of the Chamber of Commerce here, and so I deal with businesses from a whole another perspective because of the work I do. So I am one of those very difficult people. If it's not right, I'm going to the president, all the managers and proprietor, and if it's not right, you guys will be called in the process and any and everybody else. But on the other hand, if I have exceptional service, normally I would write a letter to corporate or whatever. So for us to have used them a second time, trust and believe, they did exceptional work. And then, also based on the fact that the initial work we had done, that the product can look really good when it's finished, but over time, how does the product sustain itself - and it has. For me to call a company back, that means they've done exceptional work to begin with.

I think initially when we had the first work completed, it was something in the mail we've gotten. We called them in. It wasn't through a personal referral or anything of that nature or it wasn't that I've seen their actual work. But I remember the first consultation we had, the gentleman is very personable, very knowledgeable, very informative, answered all the questions and we have them come to do the work. They were very good.

When we had the second bathroom done, prior to calling Bath Fitter, we had the other company, Bryan's, I think it was. We actually went to the consultation with them, but their fee was so high. I couldn't even believe the difference between them and Bath Fitter - the numbers were like ridiculous. I sat here and the guy is very personal, he's very nice, very informative, but when he gave us the numbers, I was like I pulled out my old contract from Bath Fitter even though it was 5 years ago and of course maybe, you know things have gone up, maybe possibly but I'm like, 'Oh no, we need to go back to Bath Fitter.' So, I told him, 'You know, you're a nice guy. I like what you've given me and my husband. We both agree that's it, but you know things are really high for the work. We already have Bath Fitter come in, and we've had the bathroom 5 years and we have not had one problem with it. It's top line. We're happy with it. You know what, we'd stop wasting your time, cause if I'd known your numbers are this high, I would have never even bother to call you in, to even have a consult with you.' But we had called them in, maybe they could beat Bath Fitter and that's what we were thinking initially, but we immediately called Bath Fitter and asked them to come in.

So, all the way around Bath Fitter got my vote. I told them if they need somebody to poster child, I'll be on the poster for them. They're top notch. Great product, great service, good customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Bath Fitter did my entire bathroom three years ago. They took the tub out completely and put a shower in. They put the shower stall, the over wall, the ceiling, the lining, everything, including the windows. We had wanted to remodel when we first bought the house, but we had to wait till it was appropriate cash flow wise. And we researched what we wanted, and Bath Fitter was the perfect fit.

The gentleman came by, made all the measurements; we explained to him what we were looking for. He made his recommendations. Two days later, there was a team there to take everything out, the tub, and redo the wall behind the shower, because it had been kind of shady, kind of rocky, and he replaced all that. He put the plasterboard up and put the bonnets over it in the tub area. He took the tub out and put the shower stall in.

We wanted the product itself; we liked what they looked like. When we went to the show room, we liked the textures, we like the color assortment, and we just like the convenience and the quick and easy way to clean it. Bath Fitter has been perfect, including coming and retouching up some of the caulking a year or so later. They came back and they cleaned up a little bit of the caulking. They redid it because it started to separate a little bit. They were perfect. They came right in and they did everything they needed to do. They were out in an hour after they came to do the redo. They were extremely pleasant and efficient. The people who did the work both times were right on the mark. They really made sure that it fit and it was done quickly, clean. That was the most important thing too, because everything was spotless after they left.

It was a shower that I purchased from Bath Fitter. Well, it covers the bath tub and the shower wall - it's a one-piece thing. We also had safety bars installed. This was done September last year. Our house is an older home, and it was showing its signs of age. We thought that we'd better make some improvements and down the road we'd like to sell the house at some point, and we thought that would be a good selling feature.

The salesperson was very thorough, right from the start, when we had the initial visit to go over what I wanted and that kind of thing. There was no pressure. He explained all the products and details. A lot of my questions were about quality, because I wanted a product that would last, and he said from his personal experience what he would choose. Again, there was no pressure on his part. He didn't rush me in any way. He gave me time to think about the project and whatnot. He asked me if I want to change my mind about any of the different colors that I chose, that kind of thing. And when the installers did come that day, there was hardly any mess. The technician that came worked straight through. There were times I said, 'Why don't you come down and have a cup of coffee?' No, he really wanted to get the project done. Once he was finished, I was able to walk and have a look at it myself and make any comments or whatever. It was just a really good experience, right from start to finish.

I don't think I would go with a similar company. I'd go with Bath Fitter. We've been to several home shows, and that's where we found them to begin with. Also, I had two friends that had them in the area, and they were pleased with the work, so that's probably why I would go back with them. Excellent quality. Great service.

We worked with Bath Fitter 6 months ago. We purchased a bath tub surround and shelves from them. We were having a lot of mildew-y problems. We just didn't like the look of it; it was really getting quite old-looking. The people at Bath Fitter were very efficient. I talked to the installer - he was very nice, and he cleaned up really well. So, the whole thing was great. I didn't know any other company. Bath Fitter is the one that came at the right timing. The fact that it took one day was a real plus. They are very professional and organized.

We got the tub insert for the shower, the wall, and the faucet. We also have a shampoo holder in the corner added. We had walls which were starting to crack. Whatever the original owners put up before just wasn't holding up. We got it installed just before Christmas, a couple of months ago. The salesman was honest, very informative, really knew the product. He took all the measurements. The installer came when they said he would come. He took exactly how long they said. He cleaned up his mess. Job was satisfactory all the way around. We went with that style just for convenience. And there are other companies that are doing the same thing, but we've seen Bath Fitters around for a long time; they've been around in the area for quite a while. There were some testimonies on their website that were very positive too. And I had a positive experience. Everything was delivered exactly as promised.

I purchased a shower enclosure. Everything was fine. I was happy with it. I had no problem. It was the beginning of this year that I got that fit in. I had a three-piece enclosure and it was old, so it was time to replace. I found they were very obliging. They cleaned up their mess. They were very good. I guess there was some little thing that I probably wanted over and above; he was more than willing to try to oblige me with it. I can say I have no complaints. I would recommend Bath Fitter. They are very efficient, reliable and very quick in installing.

I had a shower installed by Bath Fitter two months ago. And we had a seat put in. The shower that we had was about 15 years old, an enclosure, and it was starting to fall apart; I had no choice. I heard enough about Bath Fitter that I felt that they're the ones I wanted to deal with. Some of friends of ours had Bath Fitter work for them. And they were very pleased with them. When I called, the person that came out and measured up and gave us a quotation was very knowledgeable, and so we accepted immediately. About a month later, the chair that they installed was very tidy, very clean. It took them about a day and a half to install it. Certainly no mess, no fuss, no problems. The installers were very friendly. There were no problems, none whatsoever. I've got praise for the way it was handled and the whole works. Very pleasant.

It was a tub surround that we ordered from Bath Fitter about two months ago. There was some water leaking down on the floor. It's in one of our rental units, so we don't know what the problem was. And we don't know if the tenant was just not putting the curtain in the shower or what the problem was. Anyway, the one that was there was getting old so it was just time to change it. My tenants are happy with it. Great. Very good. The man was very nice and very helpful and did the job efficiently and quick, so that was good. And we like it. It looks nice. We got what we paid for, and that's what we want.

Bath Fitter installed my tub, the whole thing, the enclosure and a sealant for that. I had a corner shelf, four little things for holding bottles of soap and that and two handles. They installed it a little over a month ago. We had the tiles for a long time. The tiles were kind of dirty and we'd have to scrape them, and when you scrape them, you take the grout out. The day the installer did it, I was amazed at what he'd done in the day. They put a tub inside of my tub. Everything was cut to perfection. And he came off the side and he was hitting a window and he just cut around the molding for the window and all this. He did a super job.

They came before Christmas. We ordered it on the fourth or fifth of December. They were trying to squeeze it in for Christmas, and I said, ''No, don't squeeze it in. I don't want a rush job.'' And then my brother would come home from the west and he was going to do the crack filling for me and he made a mess of it. So, we contacted a good dry waller and he got that all done. We could've done away with the sealant inside the tub. That was worth three hundred bucks for that and it was a beautiful job.

The big thing we chose Bath Fitter was 'no mess and one day', and my wife's brother, he had it done and he voices us up to see it. His was different; his was done maybe three or four years ago. He was saying that it was like a rubber tub and it rolls over onto your tub. That's what I was expecting; I was expecting a rubber thing to roll over my tub and everything. But here, a tub came just like when you go to a hardware store and buy a tub but it had to be cut. Oh, what a beautiful tub and everything was beautiful on this. And the guy that had done it was pleasant. We told him to take some time off and he said, ''No sir, need to clean up before I leave!'' Super Job! They were a little more expensive but I mean, it's one day and no shortcuts. They don't take any shortcuts and they appreciate your home. He was super.

We're very well satisfied. I mean they were a little expensive. We could've cut corners, did away with the shelves and handles, but we're getting older and we need those handles. And the sealant thing, it was around three hundred dollars but it's really, really nice. It stands about three inches from your ceiling and it's all plastic, like vinyl. And we got the round bar for the shower.

I had a whole new bathroom installed. Where I live (it's coop housing), I have 20 units up here. I was the head of maintenance up here. We had a lot of bathroom issues, so we designed a five-year plan to replace four bathrooms a year for the next five years. That way, all twenty bathrooms would be getting all new updates, right? And we looked at local plumbing companies around here, we looked at one or two in Halifax, and Bath Fitter was one of them. So we had them come in. And I worked all of them, giving quotes, and doing interviews, just to get a feel for it. And Bath Fitter sounded really appealing to us. Their prices were good. And they answered all our questions, no matter how small or minimal they seemed. So, we decided to go with Bath Fitters.

Now, last year, we had our first four bathrooms put in. And out of the four bathrooms, I only had one little glitch. And I came to find out that it was the faucet, it was a faulty one from the factory itself. I called them and the next day, they were up here and replaced it. Now, when we had the installation they put in, we got new tubs, new tub surround, new sink, new vanity, new toilet, new floor, new medicine cabinet, the whole nine yards - Bath Fitter did it all. They completely got it and redid the bathroom. So, they told us, where we were doing four bathrooms a year at a time, he said two-three days. And I was thinking, 'Yeah, right.' You know what, three days later, Stan (one of the guys that comes up and does it, he is one of the head workers) and I were looking at a finished product. I could not believe it. It was phenomenal. The workmanship, the workers themselves, you couldn't ask for better workers. I was in contact with Bath Fitter quite frequently, and what might have sounded like a stupid little question, to them, if it was a question I had, it wasn't stupid. They treated us with nothing but the best respect of all the companies I've ever dealt with in the twelve years I've been doing this. They were phenomenal.

Well, Bath Fitter, they are number 1. And if you go anywhere else, you're foolish. They guarantee their product. The workmanship is impeccable. This is our second year, and I've already been in contact with Bath Fitter. They've ordered up the supplies. They've already been up here taking measurements. We're having our next four bathrooms done here in about two weeks' time. And I just didn't even think twice of looking anywhere else. You cannot surpass the quality, the commitment, and the personality of each and every one down there. It's just phenomenal. And I'd recommend them to anybody. I can't find a thing wrong with any of the details or anything with them. I've got nothing but the best respect for those people; Stephanel ** and his wife, they were the ones that came up the first year. And Chris ** has taken over for Stephanel, and I am getting the same respect and diligence from Chris as what I get from Stephanel. Bath Fitter is number 1 in my book. You cannot top it. I'd highly recommend them to anybody.

I bought two different products at different times. I started with a shower first, and then I ended up buying the bath - that would be a following year later when I had more money. I got the shower in last year in April. We were just very simple - we took the Delta shower head with the shower handle, which was okay. I didn't like that one as much. I ended up buying another Delta faucet that worked out better for me. That would be the only thing. But obviously, I'm happy and that's worth it.

The ordering and installation process is really, really fast. I'm the kind of person who does research beforehand, check out couple of places and look at the Business Bureau, whatnot. And then basically, what happened was they came in and they had the best warranty. For me that was the best warranty. And since they have a history of being very, very reliable, I loved the fact that when I called, there's actually someone on the line that I come in contact with; they have a physical address. So, it was great. I think I called and they can have someone come over within one week. That time, they were able to squeeze me in.

It would be 2011, April - we purchased this house and it really needed a lot of renovation. For example, the shower was one of those old kind, and basically it's all scrubbed away. And the sink was mildew-y and moldy. And when the surface is gone, you know, it was just a matter of time. No matter how much you scrub, it's never going to be clean. I have two kids. It was not sanitary, no matter what my husband said - it needs to be done. But I knew if I have to get it done, I need to get it done - fast. And it was crazy. The first week, we had the carpet done, we had the water heater, we had one of the toilets replaced (because he said he could live with it. It didn't work.) I said, 'Well, I'll use the new toilet. You can use the old one.' We did all that, the furniture, whatever. It was just crazy because the mover, I thought they were coming on Thursday; they ended up coming on Wednesday, which was perfect, because the carpet was already done on Tuesday. So I basically needed someone to be able to hit the ground running. And they did. I think I've come in contact with them; they came in, in all that craziness, and were able to give me an evaluation. And I just wanted clean, chic, possible basic.

They recommended Delta, which was great because that's what my plumber recommended too, so we decided to go for that. They gave me a certain time frame and I thought it was reasonable, like basically a month or so. But what they told me is because I'm ordering a very, very basic color (white), they may have it in store. I think they called me back about a week later and said, 'We can get it installed.' So they came over and they installed it. They cleaned up after themselves. They hauled that big hunk of acrylic, really, those thick old kind, hold it out. And by the end of the evening, we had a working shower.

What did happen, the washer got twisted somewhere like within a month or so, and my husband said it shouldn't work like that. It was working fine before, so I want to do something. I didn't know what it was, so I called Bath Fitter. They said okay, 'We're going to send someone over,' because we have a warranty. And they came over the next day, checked the washer, they replaced the washer or repositioned the washer, and then the problem was solved - gone. It was within a day or two of the initial phone call. Very, very clean.

Then, I had the issue... I really wanted to have the bath tub done. And I knew the bath tub is always more expensive than the shower. This is not tiled (I prefer the smooth finish thing). This bath was the all acrylic kind - they call it the C or whatever it is (it's like a letter C, they have a top and stuff like that). My son is growing so he could touch the top, I could touch the top; if he grew any taller, it would have been very problematic. But they said, look, since this is an acrylic thing, they could move it. One, it's not going to be as fixed, so you gain height. And they could do all that. And he was also very nice about it. He said, 'Look, any time you move the top, you don't know what's above that, so maybe you don't want to extend the height.' He really did try to cut the size down. Also because I was a previous client, he said he gave me as much discount as he possibly can. And I was able to afford it. Once again, I asked for a very basic design. It was something really, really, amazingly quick.

I called Bath Fitter on Nov. 16th. They came on the 17th in the morning. On Monday they gave me a call and said they can come over, because I ordered a very fundamental basic thing in stock. I said I couldn't do it that day, so we scheduled something. In less than a week I got a new bath tub, from the time that I made the phone call to getting a whole, entire new bath tub. And we're very happy with it.

The second installer, the one for the bath tub, I like so much more than the first one, even though the first one was good. The second one was very hard working, and it was a hard job. Obviously, it was much harder than just the shower. It was bigger, it was clunkier, and it was a C thing so it has to go up on the top. I mean, it wasn't easy work. He really did - he put all those things. He also told me, 'Look, I can't do much. I can't put the insulation, because it's the kind of insulation that when you're down, you're not supposed to do it.' He was very well-versed in all that, and he actually did me a favor. Because after he removed that, I can see there was actually no piping above that. I said, 'I'll pay you extra, can you just please move that? At least move that thing on the top so my son can actually stand up.' And he did do that for me. The only thing is, I don't know how thick the wall is because the size is limited. And it turned out that, luckily for me, it was fine. It would've been okay. So he did all that for me, and cleaned up. He even borrowed my vacuum cleaner and vacuumed. He was just absolutely fantastic. I did give him a big tip, but you know, he totally deserved it.

The only thing that I have to do in the Bath Fitter outside of the warranty is that if the insulation thing comes down, I'm the one who's going to have to buy some insulation and put it on top. But all things considering, for it to be all done in one day, it's great. Also, another thing, I said, 'Look, I'll leave it up to your judgment. You can put where the soap dish is, because you're the professional, you know where to put all those dispensers.' By the way, I got the basic package, and it comes with the soap dish, it comes with the shower thing - it was all ready to go. So what happened is, I had the shower head that I like. That's the only thing I like about it. I said, 'Look, I don't want you to give me anything; just re-install my shower head.' They did that for me, but they were so professional. They said, 'Look, here is the shower head that you would've gotten.' It was really, really nice. They were really professional, they sat down, explained why this versus that, why this was a better choice than the other choice. And if you basically order a basic stuff, there's a really, really high likelihood that they have it in stock. And for me, it was that fast. I mean, I actually think it was less than a week.

I have recommended Bath Fitter to a friend if they wanted something quick. For the price and the time, it can't be beat. I may be able to get it cheaper through some contractor, but they don't give me the warranty over time, and they could be gone. And then also, it would take it much longer to do tile work and all that. They ''warranty'' everything. And they got it all done in a day. Another thing, the shower thing, part of the caulk came off. I said, 'Look, you can see that.' The guy who did the evaluation of the bath tub said, 'Okay, I can see that. And don't worry about it. I'll mark it down there and he will come in and the guy who will install the bath tub will fix it.' And they did. It was just all very nice. They're very, very courteous and fast. If you watch HGTV by Love It Or List It, I looked at it very carefully and some of the bathrooms, they use Bath Fitter. I'm convinced to use Bath Fitter. It's not going to be ultra-fancy tile or whatever it is, but it's clean, clean, clean. And I'm very happy with mine, obviously happy enough to want to use them again.

Well, we've been here for 15 years, and I just wanted a walk-in shower, because I use that bathroom and my husband uses the other plain walk-in shower. The people at Bath Fitter did excellent. I was pleased with everything. I had seen a friend of mine who used them, so that was the reason I did and she was pleased and she's a perfectionist. I would recommend them highly; they did very well. One guy came and did the installation all by himself. I wasn't here part of the day anyway, but I don't know how he got the whole tub out and did it all by himself. And he stayed until 8 o'clock, I guess. The second one was a different guy. I mean it was just a walk-in shower to begin with, so that wasn't much of a problem than taking the whole tub out and putting a shower in. They did very well.

I had a shower installed by Bath Fitter a year and a half ago. We got tired to look at the darn thing we had. That was ceramic tile and we just weren't satisfied with it. My wife thought of doing it. We'd been offered about it a good while and then we decided, 'Let's go for it,' so we did. My wife's the one that handled the ordering process. We called and got an appointment, and then the lady came out. She showed us our options, different products, and so we chose what's in there. The lady kept trying to get us to change some things, but we told her this is what my wife wanted. And then they got out here, and in about three fourths of a day, they had that thing in.

I thought the installers were pretty sharp. They were so well versed in what they were doing. I guess they're good. My experience with Bath Fitter was all right. They told us, 'Do not do anything yourself to it' because of the warranty. The warranty is lifetime. And they finally came back. The walls did not adhere. They were spongy all the way around. And they told us that they'd come back out. And they told us that they'd give it a heat treatment - it bonded a little better, but it wasn't long and it was becoming spongy again. It was just coming loose. The third time, they came out twice and did that. And they came out and installed the toilet's tissue roll and stuff like that - they did all that. And then last year, recently, the wall became so spongy. We told them all about it. The gentleman that came out to install it had been coming out here twice and he said, 'I'm gonna have to just take everything down and redo it.' Well, they did. So far, so good.

And there's another reason - my wife couldn't get into the bathtub (she couldn't climb over to get in). We figured a shower was the best thing to do. The installers were wonderful. When they came in, they installed the thing. They had a professional man who did it, who knew his stuff and did a wonderful job. They answered all of my questions. I have no complaints at all.
