My experience with Bath Fitter was pretty much as expected from their advertising. It was a positive one, for sure.

Bath Fitter was a very easy and painless way to fix an ugly problem in the bathroom. Our bathtub was kind of gross but the tile wasn't. When I saw Bath Fitter, I thought, "Now, I can fix that problem." I chose Bath Fitter because they said they could put the bathtub in and retain the tile surround that I already had without damaging it or having to rip it out or cover it. I had it done for already a couple of months at least.
The sales representatives didn't waste my time. They explained what they were going to do and they did what they said they were going to. The installation team also showed up when they said they were going to be. They seemed to take care of it quickly and they didn't leave a mess. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

I couldn't be more pleased. They did both sides of my duplex and in spite of the issues they found in our rental, they went above and beyond to get the job done right. It delayed completion on the rental side, but I was kept informed of the problems, progress and expected completion date. The bathroom on our side of the property is absolutely beautiful. The crew arrived when they said they would, protected our carpets, cleaned up everything when they were done and made sure I was happy with the outcome before they left the site. They aren't the least expensive, but the insert will obviously last longer than a DIY fiberglass unit and looks 100 times better than anything I've seen. I can recommend Bath Fitter with a completely clear conscience.

When we decided to do something about the bathroom, we called and set up an appointment. I had an appointment with several other companies but I decided to go with Bath Fitter because I liked the presentation and the product looked like it was top grade. What they had to offer is what we like, so we purchased the tub liner and also the liner over the tub. We had it done a couple of months ago.
We're very satisfied because they did a beautiful job with it. The sales representative was great. He really knows his job and I was impressed with that. The installation team were extremely quick. One gentleman did the whole job and I was amazed that he could do that all in one day's time. He did a beautiful job on it. I was there when he installed it and he was very efficient. He didn't stand around and wasted time and he was on the job the whole time he was here. Overall, I would highly recommend Bath Fitter.

My experience dealing with Bath Fitter was terrible and I would strongly recommend anyone wanting a quality experience to look elsewhere. Our sales rep was completely unprofessional and our dealings with him were like something you would expect from a shady used car salesman. (Not to mention the fact that after leaving our house, he went dumpster-diving in our neighborhood! LOL) The product he sold us was not the product we received. When the installer came to do the work, he realized AFTER he ripped out what we had, that our replacement was much smaller and had to build out our walls with 2x4s to get it to fit. We ended up with a downgrade from what we had originally! I made multiple phone calls to both the corporate and local offices to complain, and over the course of about 3 weeks spoke with a total of 6 different people (including one of the VPs) - who promised he would get back to me within 3 days. Of course, that never happened either. The only thing they managed to do quickly and accurately was send us our bill. HA! This company is a joke.

The bathroom needed a fix and we had been looking at different companies. A neighbor and a couple of different people recommended Bath Fitter. The product that we saw for the surround of the bathroom, over there at Bath Fitter, was much superior than what we had been looking at. So, we purchased it two or three months ago.
The sales rep was very helpful and informative. He was not pushy, there was no pressure on our part. After the first visit, we needed some time to talk about it and he had no problems. We had gone in touch with him a couple of different times on a couple of questions and each time he answered them. He’s very good... The man who did the installation was also a very thorough, nice, kind gentleman. He introduced himself when he came, worked throughout the day and did a nice job by himself.
I’m very satisfied with Bath Fitter. I’ll have them come back and do the other bathroom.

We will have them come out and do our other bathroom when it’s time. It made an improvement.

My bathroom was leaking and we had Bath Fitter do the remodel. A guy from the company showed me everything and I liked the way it looked. It was a little expensive but well worth it. We bought a shower and tub. We checked the tub out and just put a shower. It goes all the way across the bathroom. The sales representative was a very nice guy and very knowledgeable about his product. The installation guy was the best. The day he came in, he walked in the front door and he put his shoes off. He put paper on the floor; it was clean and spotless when he left. They’re a good company to do business with. They have good products and we’re very happy.

I had some relatives that had some work done by Bath Fitter and I thought about getting them, too. Our house was built in 1960 and so we decided to have it remodeled for the first time. Bath Fitter was quick, easy, and I really liked what I saw with my other family members in their bathroom. We got tubs around and the roof/ceiling, and then the fixtures last March. The sales representative was good. It’s just kind of a quick and easy thing. The installation guy was really good; he was quick, cleaned up his mess, he was really knowledgeable. So far, I love the product; it was good.

Our experience with Bath Fitter was very satisfactory. The young man who came here was very, very nice and seemed to be quite skilled at what he did. He got things done quickly, and so far, everything is perfect. I was also very surprised when the manager phoned me a week or so later to ask if everything was fine and if I was satisfied, so obviously they care about satisfying their customers.

We had our shower redone by Bath Fitter and you couldn't find better people to deal with than Bath Fitters. We had seen them on TV and we wanted to go and take a look. We took a look there first before we made a decision and we liked what we saw. They were very nice. When the guy went in and got started to do his work, he found out that the floor was rotting out and he couldn't replace on this. So we immediately contact somebody, have them come in and rebuild the wood underneath.
When the Bath Fitter people came out, they put down carpet protection to protect the rugs and everything that they had to walk on. They would take it up each day when they go. On the weekend, my husband decided to let them know they didn't have to take that up and move that out of there. They were very nice.

We purchased a tub from Bath Fitter probably a month ago. It’s working fine now and I like it. The sales rep I spoke to was polite, very nice, and full of information. We’re both very pleased with the price and quality of work Bath Fitter provided. We chose them because their advertisement said that most of the installation could be done in one day, and I only had one day a week off. So we had a shower installed. The sales rep was very cordial and very knowledgeable on his product. He explained to us all the options that were available to us and the different materials and deposits. The installer was awesome. He came in and before I knew it, he had the old tub out and has started re-plumbing everything. I asked a few questions about what he was doing because I'm a home do-it-yourselfer anyway. He knew what he was doing and he went to it. And I think that the only break he took was for lunch. It was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend anybody considering a Bath Fitter's product wholeheartedly.

I was choosing between Bath Fitter and another company. I know they were a little bit higher in price than the other one, but the way they explained some of the things, it worked then, and that might have been why I went with Bath Fitter. Because they didn’t leave a lot of things in the bathroom.
Overall, they were excellent. I had a tub removed and a shower installed. While the installation team was doing their work, I would come in, go in and chitchat, just social conversation. They would tell me what they were doing and that this should be like this or that or whatever. The management and the people were very nice. They're very courteous and very clean. The only thing is I was concerned that not much water was settling in the bottom of the shower pan when you’re taking a shower. I called them and talked about it, but the man said that was supposed to be normal.

We purchased a new bathtub and the tub enclosure from Bath Fitter about a month and a half ago. The sales reps came over one morning and explained everything they were going to do. I had some loose tiles in the bathroom and had one estimate but didn't do it then because it was so expensive. That was before my tile went bad, a year or two before. Then, I decided it was time to remodel. I purchased the whole installation from Bath Fitter, the one-piece wall-- it’s not one piece but it appears that way, with the bathtub that sits over the other bathtub.
The sales rep was fine. We went in to see what we could get. A couple of things he wasn't positive what they could do. But I did tell him I wanted it out a little farther where it could come out on the wall past the bathtub. I asked him, “Can it come out this far?” And he said, “yes.” Then when the guy came to do it, he did go over things with me but we didn't actually bring that specific thing up and I didn't think about it until after he was cutting it and he couldn't bring it out that far because he was already cutting it. I took it for granted that the salesman would write down that, and apparently, he didn't relay that to the installation team. I think the salesmen want to make a sale so bad, they don’t write things down that could help with the installation or when they are verifying with them. It’s not a big deal, but I guess, with salesmen, their main thing is to sell.
The installation guys were friendly. They were pretty busy but they were professional and I felt like they’d done a good job. I've been happy with the Bath Fitter remodel and the installers.

I’m displeased with the way things went down with them. The installing team did a beautiful job, but during the installment my commode was loosened from the base and there was a whole puncture in the wall behind the door. I called and I filed a complaint. I was displeased with the representative that they sent out. He was kind, but I explained to him what happened. It was my intention to buy a new commode, but at that particular time, I was not going to purchase one. But after the base was broken on it to the extent that it was getting one-sided, I called and I didn’t get any answer from Bath Fitter so I went ahead and purchased it. When the rep came out and he observed it, he said he could not understand how this could happen. I said, I was going to purchase me a commode. I explained to him, I didn’t take pictures to let them see what was the outcome of the result of the installation.
When I tried reaching Bath Fitter to explain to them what happened, they could have come out when it first happened so they could have seen it. I wasn’t satisfied with the explanation. I was very displeased, but he did patch the hole in the wall and he said to give him a call and he would come back and send it. I have been out of the house so I had not given him a call to come back in order to send it, but I’m not even going to bother him about sending it. I’m not trying to get anything out of Bath Fitter. I’m paying for what I’m getting. And then, knowing that if I was going to purchase my commode, I’d have purchased it anyway. I was dissatisfied with the explanation the rep gave me. And that’s water under the bridge, but if I have to refer them to someone else, it got a bitter taste in my mouth.

I had a terrible experience from the beginning with Bath Fitter in Roseville, MN. I made arrangements to do a simple thing as to receive a bid for the bathroom modification I needed to make it wheelchair accessible. I was scheduled with someone who called and asked for clarification on what his instructions were for, how to get into my building which were clear to begin with. It was "come to the main doors (either of them), use the security box, enter the code provided, and it would ring to my cell phone." I would then come and let "Marc" in. I agreed though since he seemed to need extra help to wait in the parking lot with my dog.
He didn't show up in 15 minutes as indicated, so I took my dog in so she could run around. He called from his cell phone (not the security box as was indicated) and said he was at the door. I came out to the door (both actually running between) he was not at either door. An HOUR later, he calls and says he is in the lot and "what did I want to do". I wanted someone there on time and someone who was not going to lie to me. He was nowhere to be seen. He was not where he said he would be. Bath Fitters didn't even return an email sent about this experience last evening. Horrible experience with such disregard for others.... If a contractor can't do a simple thing like find a door, how on earth was a bathroom going to be modified in a timely manner.

I'm happy with Bath Fitters. So far, I haven't had any real issues. Just some questions, which they took care of. But I'm really happy with the product. One thing I'd like to say, a lot of times the questions about quality in that is a little bit too soon. Sometimes, I think it takes a little longer to see how things work out and what happens, adjustments and things happen. But they call you right after it's finished to get a lot of things, questions answered about how well things were done when it was just put in. So I'm a little reluctant to really just sign off on everything right away. Sometime it takes 90 days or something, and then call me back and see if I'm having issues and you need to come out for something, but all that's done within the first two or three weeks. And of course everything is still drying up and it's still fresh.
The guy came out last week and did some caulking issues and some other things they informed me about. The rings around the full bar, they'd come loose, but we handled that right over the phone. Other than that, I'm very happy with the product and I'm looking to have another bathroom done. They provided a very good service for me. It was great.

We purchased from Bath Fitter the acrylic, whole pack: bathtub, shower, roof, tops and everything. My daughter picked out everything herself with dates and sales rep. All I did was pay. My 13 year old daughter is very happy with Bath Fitter. Dave, the sales rep, was very good considering he was dealing with a 13 year old. They went through the book to look and check the different options and came up with what my daughter wanted. My daughter had a perfect interaction with their sales rep. The guys who installed them were also excellent. There were two of them, and they did a perfect job. It was a more complicated job than our upstairs that Bath Fitter also worked on before.
We wanted another encapsulated model, so they had to remove part of the ceiling and they had to frame in a new ceiling and not a complaint, no problem, no hassles, a nice neat job, and real gentlemen. When my daughter got home from school, they asked her where she wanted her bars put and where she wanted the shelves to be put, and what she thought of how everything was looking. They spent a lot of time with her too to make sure everything was perfect. They were really good guys and did a nice job cleaning up. We've recommended them to lots of people.

We had a new shower installed a little more than a week ago and had two problems. When installing the shower the installer made two holes in opposite wall. Also the trim on the wall opposite shower wall from door is buckled. Called the day after work was done because I get home after hours and wife set an appointment for the next Wednesday for the installer to return. He didn't show and we were told it for some reason didn't get on his calendar. He came the next day. When repairing the wall the hole was bigger than we hoped and the patch was taking a while to dry.
I understand this so I told him I would finish sanding and painting. The only thing he did for the trim was fill the gaps with caulk. Still has an apparent gap. I blame install and myself for not staying and watching. No one from customer service or the salesman has contacted us to check and see if everything is ok. The actual product looks to be good quality just not good installation.

Their tallest toilet was 17 inches high, which doesn't help him because he's old. He's 91 and feeble. Also, it seemed a little pricey. We got a shower and a toilet for $6,800. But other than that, the job was fine. It's done, it's good. I can't complain. The sales representatives were all very good. They were very polite and got back to me in a timely fashion. It was just the toilet height. I’m disappointed, it was big. And now we have to buy another toilet.

The guy really did a wonderful job. He did a perfect job of the bathtub, and the grab bars and towel bars. We have a really nice bathroom that we put in about 5 years ago down stairs on our ground floor with all new fixtures, all new floors, all new tile, all new everything. It's just amazing to us. And when we show it to everybody they just think it's great.
We do have to have Bath Fitters come back because we had a new floor put down. We had some tiles put in. So probably sometime in the next two weeks, I'd give them a call to come back and just seal the outside of the bathtub on the floor next to the new floor and just run a sort of a gel type thing around the edge of the wall by the bathtub.
So far we have no complaints. We were more than pleased. We even wrote a letter and passed it in to Bath Fitter about how pleased we were. We would recommend them a hundred percent.

I decided to go with them mainly because they covered everything. The price was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I needed a sink replaced and the bathroom too and they did everything.
I had several things done - a surround, tub cover or insert, a shower faucet, shower head, and the corner pieces with the shelves. I made my purchase about a month ago and this was the first time I remodelled with them. When the sales rep first came to the house, he was very courteous. He showed us everything, gave us little tips as far as what’s high-end and what’s not high-end. He was very thorough. He showed us samples of what, in fact, his group had done and he was just quite informative. He seemed very down to earth and honest. The installation team was one guy and I was amazed. I sent e-mails and left several voicemail messages with the local Bath Fitter to inform them of the shower leak and water damage. It's unfortunate that I had to write a public review to get Bath Fitter to respond to my situation. But immediately after posting this review, their local office contacted me. It still took several months to get my issue resolved, so I can't give Bath Fitter a higher rating. But they eventually replaced the shower (hopefully no more leaks) and I am now putting my bathroom back together.

Bath Fitter completed installation of a shower pan and shower liner about one year ago. I noticed shortly after installation that the caulking had separated. I contacted Bath Fitter and they re-caulked the shower. I contacted Bath Fitter a couple more times because the caulking kept separating. In March, I noticed a leak from the bathroom into the next room. Bath Fitter did not come out right away, so I contacted a leak detection company. The leak detection company determined that the caulking failed and would continue to fail because "the shower surround walls and shower pan flex when in use which has caused the caulking at the shower pan and walls to separate. Water is leaking at the failed caulking/transition point of the shower pan and surround of the shower".
A restoration company dried out the bathroom to prevent mold with dehumidifiers and blowers running around the clock for several days. The restoration company had to remove and discard the stone tile floor I had just installed one year ago and remove my toilet, and baseboards. The insurance adjuster estimated that the cost to replace my floor and baseboards, drywall and paint, and install the toilet is over $1,600.00. Of course faulty installation is not covered by my insurance and this estimate does not include the cost to fix the shower leak! I am beside myself because I paid over $6,000 for this shower that leaks and now my bathroom is ruined. Bath Fitter did NOT respond to the complaint I filed with the corporate office, nor has the company responded to my voicemail messages or e-mails. Bath Fitter has not even responded to the complaint I filed with the BBB two weeks ago. The BBB is sending a second letter requesting a response from the company. Buyer Beware!

Bath Fitter has done two bathrooms for me about 8-9 years ago so I just stayed with them 'cause I was satisfied with their work. They re-did a shower for me this time because it was falling apart. The sales rep was very courteous and informative and helpful in suggesting the right kind of stuff that we needed, and offering the best price. It was one person that did it and he was on time. He was fast and he said he'd be finished in about half a day and he was finished in about that time. I didn't have any problems with the work that he did. The service was good and so is the product.

I chose Bath Fitter to do the remodel because they've been around a long time. When I bought the house a few years ago, there was some mold behind the shower and the bathroom was an original shower so I had the shower replaced around Christmas time. The sales representative called to keep me informed of the scheduling date which was really good. One guy did the installation and he did an awesome job. He had to prep the wall first after he got the shower out. He cut a piece of it out and put a new sheetrock in because it was damaged by water. Then he came back and installed the new one. It was a great experience.

I've had my first Bath Fitter remodel a year ago for an investment property I own. With tenants in there, I didn't want it to take more than one day so the one day was a big selling point for me. I had them install a tub because I was told by their salesperson that that would solve the problem of water leaking upstairs onto the downstairs on the tenant's bedroom. So one year ago, we did that but that did not solve the problem. One year later, they put in the tub surround and that did solve the problem. While I was quite happy with the tub surround installation and procedure, I think it was a hit and miss experience because I spent twice as much as I had originally planned to spend when I thought that the tub was going to solve the problem as indicated by the original sales professional.

I had an old tub taken out and a shower installed less than a month ago. Although it looks very nice, I am still waiting for someone to fix the shower wall. The installer cut a hole for the light switch within the shower enclosure. I know this is NOT within code! I told them that an easy solution would have been to turn the light switch around and put it on the wall outside the bathroom. His answer was "we are not electricians". How can a company work with electricity in a bathroom and not know the codes. This is a big problem!!!!!! Someone has already been back because my plumbing was not put in up to code and they also needed a permit which they had to get later. It really bothers me that I am paying over $7000 for a shower that is just not right and someone could get shocked!!

No matter if I clean the tub and shower everyday or not, have given up. Now my shower leaks destroyed the ceiling below and shower floor has cracked. Called the plumber and to find out both shower in the master bath and tub in the other bathroom were NOT installed correctly, and the only way to correct the problem is to replace bath fitters garbage they installed, which cost me a pretty penny. Don't waste your money on this trash like I did.

We started our hunt for a new shower by visiting your showroom and were very impressed by the displays and the young lady that served us, Alyssa, who was very friendly and helpful. We had picked out our colour, pattern for the walls and shower heads while talking to Alyssa. We booked an appointment with a sales consultant and had one within a few days with Scott. He was very helpful and went through every avenue as far as styles, etc. Scott had an installation appointment set to our surprise for only two weeks. Scott did a super job measuring, as was noted by the installer Brandon, as all the premade material fit so well. When Brandon showed up, he did a magnificent job tearing out the old bathtub which was a complete unit, so it was not easy.
He was very meticulous, every line had to match and the bars and shower heads, etc had to line up perfectly to the lines on the walls. Brandon was very friendly and did not mind us watching a lot of the work. He is a very impressive young man, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to install anyone's units. We had minimal problems, but nothing that was not quickly worked out by the Bath Fitter. In particular, we had dealings with a very nice young lady named Marina. As I told Marina on the phone today, both my wife and I were very, very pleased with the results and everyone we had dealings with. We had seen Bath Fitter at the fair and when I talked to Jason, he just seemed so nice. He said that they did it for the VA so I figured we could trust him to know what he was doing and not short change us. He explained everything and their quality of work and product seemed so much better. We liked the installer. He was very good too about explaining what he had to do. He had to move the drain pipe because we had a garden tub so our drain was like over by the wall and he had to put it in the center. He told us about that and showed us after he had done it. They're similar but they didn't have anything at the fair showing their product and Bath Fitter did. So we went with them. This was our first Bath Fitter remodel. I had the walk in shower and I did purchase the whole thing. The only problem I had was getting back with the sales person. I called them and they were supposed to call me and they didn't. I had to follow-up on that but we came through. The installation team did an excellent job. When they took out my whole bath tub, put the shower, the walk-in the shower with the doors, I had a space between my towel and my new bath tub. I've been aware of Bath Fitter for years through advertisements in magazines and newspaper and so on. And I've heard good things about them as well. My experience was bang on. They've been in business for 25 years. A tried and true sort of thing.
I purchased the whole enclosure from them a good five weeks ago. New walls, new ceiling, new doors, new faucets and controls. They left the existing bathtub there and put the formed tub around into it. The young man that was here for 11 hours that day, very professional. He really didn't take any time to visit which he wasn't here for and I admired that. But we had a nice chat afterwards when he was packing stuff up and leaving and he did a beautiful, beautiful job. Very professional, well explained and went very smooth.
The installation team came by and explained that the original plan wasn't quite going to work because the plumbing was different than expected and then they explained what the work ground was going to be and got my approval to do it slightly different than originally planned. We did two walk-in showers here last February or March. That was our first Bath Fitter remodel. We didn't want to go through the hassle of stepping into a bath tub to take a shower. And the walk-in shower for us was a safety issue. We had just installed them about four years ago with beautiful tile and everything, but got sick of cleaning the grout. My husband and I got the upstairs bathroom in 1993. We got three quotes and they were the most reasonable and they did the best job because you can tell by what they said they were going to do. That’s why we went with them. I did get some work done here in 2012. The representative that came down did the measuring and I made the selection, what kind of shower I wanted downstairs. They put the base in and they did the plumbing. Another company came and did the glasswork. Bath Fitter didn't do the glasswork.
The only thing I didn't like was that we had a very old shower downstairs so they took that all out, and they had to cut into the wall and into the ceiling in order to transfer the plumbing to the wall instead of having it where it was. And I didn't like when they put the line to the outside wall. That bothered me because I thought maybe it would freeze since in this country we get a lot of frost. But it never occurred. He promised me it wouldn't and it never did. Everything was good. I have recommended them to other people.
I’m very pleased with everything. I had to pay the bill and that’s it. Everything is working good and we’re enjoying the shower. I was worried about that outside line because that’s against code, to put the line on a cold wall. But that’s the way it had to be done. And everything’s fine. All the Moen apparatuses that were put on there, I have a lifetime warranty which is very, very nice. I just phoned Moen and they will replace all parts and everything. Then I phoned Bath Fitter, the plumber, and they’ll come and install it for me. So that’s the feature that no other company has.

Contacted the Bath Fitter in Livonia, MI. concerning the silicon caulk separating from the wall and tub and the black mold in the caulk. I was told by the person on the phone that there would be a $75.00 charge to replace the caulk. The information I received on the flier supplied by the salesman stated very clearly that "Material, Labor, and installation are GUARANTEED. The Bath Fitter Lifetime Warranty affords you the peace of mind you deserve."
The Bath Fitter product was installed in April of 2011. The first tub liner installed did not fit correctly and had to be replaced. At that time the caulk had to be removed and replaced. Sometime later the caulk began separating from the wall and tub and had to be replaced again. We are now only 3 years and 2 weeks into a "LIFETIME GUARANTEE" and the caulk is separating again and needs to be replace and has black mold growing in the caulk. I believe the cause of the separation is due to the old caulk not being thoroughly cleaned before the new was applied. Most silicon caulk/sealant for bathroom applications are mold proof and guaranteed for approximately 20 to 30 years. The silicon caulk/sealant that I applied to the shower doors, that were installed at the same time, show absolutely NO SIGNS OF SEPARATING OR MOLD GROWTH.
Bath Fitter WILL NOT sell a tube of caulk that matches the color of the tub and wall surround so the homeowner can do the repair so you are captive and must pay Bath Fitter $75.00 to replace their defective material that "Material, Labor, and installation are GUARANTEED. The Bath Fitter Lifetime Warranty affords you the peace of mind you deserve." When I told the person on the phone I would be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to the fact that I MUST PAY Bath Fitter $75.00 to get a proper repair, because they WILL NOT sell the caulk to the homeowner, I was told "WELL DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO". Customer service at it's finest. NOWHERE ON THE PAPER WORK I RECEIVED OR ON THE BATH FITTER WEBSITE IS THERE ANY REFERENCE TO AN EXCEPTION TO THE LIFETIME GUARANTEE OF THE WARRANTY COVERING THE "MATERIAL, LABOR, AND INSTALLATION."

We also had a new toilet and sink with handles for arthritic mo-in-love installed and were very a+++ pleased. Bathfitters is a company you can trust to do the job right the first time. Exceeded our standards and would recommend to all our friends. They laid down plastic sheeting to cover our floors and removed all the debris from our property. Great job, great company, professional employees and highly satisfied. After 4 years, still going terrific.

I found Bath Fitter when I was searching on the internet because I needed to have my bathrooms redone. I purchased one shower stall and one bath shower stall combo. The installers did a good job and cleaned up their mess. There was a leak and they came back right away the next day and fixed that. They were always punctual, clean, and courteous. And I left them here while I was at work that day, and came back, and everything was great.

I can't remember their name but we were trying to get it done through Lowe's but they were unsatisfactory so I called up Lowe's and told them. We didn't go through with it. I had filled out something from the flea market and got to talk to Bath Fitter and we came to an agreement to do this. It's the shower stall, with a big shower head and some safety bars. Everything is pretty cool. They were outstanding.

I had two bathrooms done by Bath Fitters and I was very, very happy with them. I purchased a walk-in shower, and a mold put over my current tub in the front bathroom. The sales rep was very thorough and explained everything to me. He was very personable, a very nice gentleman. And I was amazed with the installers. There was no mess. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very fast and efficient. Two very nice young men came and did the walk-in shower, and I was very pleased with those gentlemen that came that day. We just had one gentleman come the second day, and I was once again amazed at how clean they kept everything. There was no mess throughout my house. I was just very impressed with the whole operation. They were so neat, both of them. They just did an outstanding job. Two people from work had experience with Bath Fitter already so I gave them a call, the gentleman came over and gave me a good estimate. I was very happy with it and we went from there. I took the whole tub, the nice smoky whatever. I took up quite a few upgrades on the smoky kind of background on it and the bill was somewhere near $5000. It was very good and very clean. I'm very happy with what we got with Bath Fitter. I even talked to the guy and watched the gentleman do the work. He did a great job. I was very impressed.
They were totally professional and they helped me out. I was having an issue with my water because I had a drip. I called them, and even before their work was going to be done - it was gonna take about 4 or 5 days later - but me as a consumer, I was freaked out because my tap was leaking that bad. Someone from Bath Fitter came over and stopped my leak and put a plug in just until that they put the new system in.
What they did was really excellent. I have a beautiful Hollywood type of bathroom right now and my wife is really happy too.

We contracted with Bath Fitter to remove a bathtub and install a shower insert and accessories. Aaron and Tyler were the installers and were so pleasant and awesome to watch work. They were here for 12 hours working and were very clean and precise with what they were doing. They really put in quite the day and seemed so happy to do it. They did all the cleanup after themselves, gave final instructions on care and left here after 8 and still had an hour drive to get back to their home base in Erie Pa. We are in Westfield NY. The first contractor I called said it would take 5 days to get the job done and they had it done and beautiful in 12 hours. My elderly parents and I are very pleased and impressed with the job and will recommend them to anyone.

It was excellent. I would not have asked for anybody better. Bath Fitter did a wonderful job from start to finish. I love my bathrooms. I had to tell everybody I know to let these people do your bathroom if you ever consider it. That's the best thing I've ever done. I had seen it on the ad with Jack Roper and we kept thinking about it but we had to wait. We didn't know how expensive it was going to be. I called them and I was shocked it was as cheap as it was. I was expecting 2 or 3 times that amount of money. So I ended up having both my bathrooms done at the same time. We had our master bath converted into a walk-in shower because I have disabilities and it was hard for me to get in and out of the bath tub and take a shower. Now, I can just get in and out without fear of falling. They asked me where I wanted the handles and they put them where I needed them to go. The installer cleaned up too. He put down thick paper on my hardwood floor so nothing would touch them.

I've seen Bath Fitter advertised on TV. They advertised the fact that they could replace it all, and do all this in one day. My mom and I have a hard time stepping over into the tub to shower, so my husband and I just said "Let's bite the bullet, get them out here and talk to them." They came out, talked to us, and told us what he had. I love the texture and how it's easily cleaned. We discussed it for a few days and then I called him back. We made the appointment for him to come out and we had it done. It was done in one day, just like they said.
It has been absolutely wonderful. So far I haven't had to call them back for not one repair. I'm happy with the attitude of the people. The only thing that I am not happy about is the color I chose. They only had those little pieces of display and you can't really tell what it looks like. I chose the light gray, and it says white marble. Well it isn't. It's gray marble with some white in it. I wanted the white. But that was my fault. Other than that, they were extremely nice. The young guys that came in were very pleasant. Asked him to take out my old tub in one piece hopefully. They made all biggest efforts and they took it out in one piece. They did not even take a potty break until that job was done. No one could ask anyone to be more pleasant and working. When they made their mess in the bathroom, he had a brush and a bag, and everything was cleaned up. You'd never know they'd been here, even after they'd left, other than my shower.
Another thing that they did... Most other ones that I've had to try to work with wanted to move where my old drain was. They wanted to put it in the center. I don't want it in there. I don't want to change my plumbing. What Bath Fitter did is remold to drain at the other end where the old plumbing is. They didn't have to change any of that. I'm pleased with them and would recommend Bath Fitter.

We had Bathfitters come out to look at our shower. We had a leak and needed it to be replaced. The salesman and the guy that came out said they would replace all water damaged wood. Also they would get the permits. Needless to say when the installer came out he knew nothing about the floor being replaced. He called his supervisor and with me standing nearby his supervisor said, "absolutely not." My new shower got installed and my installer, who was great, left. My husband came home from a business trip and said they didn't do what they said. So at 4 pm on Good Friday he's raising heck. The installers' boss calls my husband and says he has no idea what's going on and has no idea why it wasn't done, etc. Basically through his guy under the bus.
Fast forward to today. The plumbing inspector comes because the salesman, the installer and the installers' boss tell me to schedule. Sure, no problem. Well there is a problem. THEY NEVER PULLED THE PERMIT! Now I'm livid. I call the 800 number. Can't get the installers' boss on the phone because that's who I was told does permits. Can't get HIS boss on the phone. Finally get some regional type guy on the phone with his cocky attitude. I told him his guy between him and his installer just got his third strike. He blew some smoke up my **, offered to treat my husband and me to dinner (don't patronize me, buddy) and said he'd call the plumber whose license they work under. The plumber says we don't need a permit. I call my township, we need a permit. So now I am waiting in limbo for either the permit or a letter stating I don't need one. My floor is being fixed on Friday by my wonderful installer. As far as those above him go, they stink.

I own an apartment house. Years ago, the only thing they had was cast iron tubs with porcelain glaze and so I purchased the acrylic liner and I didn't tear out the tiles because the tiles were in really super good condition. I also needed to replace the plumbing, which means if you don't have access to the plumbing then you have to cut the tiles. This way we could leave the tile, cut a section where you needed to access the plumbing and then put the acrylic on top of the tile. That's what I purchased from Bath Fitter. It was the ease of maintenance supposedly and also the one-day installation rather than gutting the whole bathroom that made me go with them.
As far as the product is concerned, it’s beautiful. The workmanship was impeccable but I would be hesitant to recommend them. They did what they said they did but they didn't say the problems that you have to be aware of. They didn't say that you have to use special cleaners, and that if you don't you can crack the acrylic, which would be a very expensive thing. They also didn't mention that the liner could be very slick depending on the person's foot. If you have a lot of calluses or a lot of rough skin on your feet, it’s okay. If you have babied your feet, and they're massaged and smooth as silk, you may just go flying. They should have impressed this on people. In a rental property, you could be open for liability and you may have to put some decals or a grab bar in. These are the only drawbacks. Otherwise, it's a great product.

I had Bath Fitter back when I lived in New York. A month ago, I purchased the shower panel from them. The sales representative was fine. He answered all my questions and was patient too. I was debating whether I should spend so much money because it was very expensive and he didn't push me to make a decision. He was very patient but he did explain to me the benefits of having it. And since I already had the experience previously when I had it in New York, I know how good it is and I do know how it's easy to clean. And because of my disability, it was going to be easier for me.
I had just finished having a surgery like 3 days before so I was in a lot of pain and discomfort when the installation team came. They were very careful and very clean. I like the fact that they lay paper on my floor to protect my floor from them coming in and out and they weren't that noisy. They were being very careful and they knew that I had the surgery and they knew that I wasn't feeling well, so they were being as careful and sensitive towards me. They worked very well together. They were really nice.
I would definitely recommend them but I wish I had friends that would be interested in it. The prices are really expensive and not everybody could do it. It's a very big sacrifice for me because I'm still paying for it. It wasn't a want, it was a need. I wish Bath Fitter was a little bit more inexpensive. It was almost $4000 and it's a lot for me. While he was here, he did repair the hardware in the shower that was installed at the same time the shower was installed; but "came lose" about 4 months after the install. Which I appreciated, just a source of aggravation but I like having it fixed.
The tech explained, after I asked what this was going to cost me, the adhesive has let loose and the shower pan cannot be removed without all of the rest of the product being removed. So I don't know if this is going to cost me another $3500-$4000 or if it is under the warranty. I have not heard from anyone since then. We went with Bath Fitter because they could do exactly what we needed to have done. Michael, the representative, was wonderful, very professional and knew exactly what his product was and how to present it. We had two different bathrooms that were done. We have a stand-up shower only and a shower and tub. We had everything gotten and they put them in there. It is absolutely wonderful. The shower head can make the difference. The installation team was terrific. We had to have a follow-up after they went in, a very minor issue, but they took care of it the very next morning. We were very pleased with it. We even got a follow-up call from Jack **. We have already recommended Bath Fitter.

I'm okay with the way Bath Fitter did our bathroom. It was done about four weeks ago. The installation team did a very good job. The communication on the details though should be improved upfront, especially if it's changes on shower doors and things according to what the customer is looking for. Throughout the time and the process, the changes should be contacted directly with the person that you started with instead of people pushing you around from one person to the other.

I had Bath Fitter redo two bathrooms over a month ago. I had a good experience with the sales representative and the installation team and I'm satisfied with the results. They did great.

We got a new tub and new shower walls from Bath Fitter. They redid the whole thing back in February and I'm really satisfied with it. They are a great company and did a very good job. I'd have them if I have to do it again.

A very friendly representative came to my home and asked what I was looking for. I explained that I needed a new tub and that Bath Fitter was the first company I was investigating. The representative measured the tub & identified it. He had now been at my home for 2 hours & was showing me his portfolio explaining everything about Bath Fitter. I told him I needed to take my daughter to the airport & wanted to know how much a tub liner would cost. He said he could come back another day. I said, "Just give me the estimate." He said I should get the whole ensemble - tub & wall covering. I asked for the tub estimate & he packed up & was out the door in a second.
I asked again for an estimate & he gruffly said as he exited that it would be at least $5000 & more for the wall covering. I expected after more than 2 hours that I would get a written estimate in a pleasant voice. A couple days later I got a call from Bath Fitter wanting to set up an appointment. I said I already had one but was lacking the written estimate. I refused another home visit & asked that the estimate be sent to my address. I never got any estimate. I can't imagine doing business with a company who treats their customers in this manner. I also can't imagine paying $5000 for a tub liner.
