    I’ve been using Aptive since August and so far it’s been good. I had a problem with boxelder bugs and got a hold of them. They came out the very next day so I was very pleased with that.     Had a door to door sales person (college student) approach me several times last spring for services. They offered a rodent program and kept reducing the service fee and told me I could cancel at any time. I agreed. I paid for 4+ months, got 1 service call with rodent trap and some broadcast material, but no other visits. Called to cancel and was told I had a "contract" which was contrary to what I was sold. I cancelled anyway and they are threatening me with an unpaid bill and if not paid to be sent to collections. I would not trust them as this was a "bait and switch" - low entry verbal terms, no services, then claim it was contractual.

    Extremely bad experience, rate them below zero! After first visit, more roaches were found. Second visit was "free" but I waited technician for 7! hours. And NO results at all. When I stopped the service, they continued to charge monthly fees and cancellation. Customer service was rude and unhelpful!

    We’ve had pretty good luck with all the techs that have been out from Aptive Environmental. But this summer, we had very bad luck with the tech that was out here twice. Our cameras showed the guy got here, wasn’t here any time, and left. He couldn’t have sprayed the whole lawn and done all the granular treatment. My husband called and they sent him back out the very next day.

    We do have one tech that we really like. He’s very professional, polite, and does what he’s supposed to do. He always calls or texts me because he knows we have a dog and they’re not supposed to be out in the chemicals.

    The techs just tell us that they’re here, they do their job and then they just leave. They always ask if there’s anything in particular that needs to be addressed. I’ve had good luck with Aptive Environmental.

    In the beginning, I had some issues with Aptive not going around the whole house. I know that because both sides of my house are locked. They weren’t completing the job. But then I called and I noted that I have to unlock the gates for them to complete the job. They did, so they responded well.

    Also, I do daycare. Aptive also looked at the climbers and sprayed around the things for the toys by my request. They did a very thorough job on that, because I can’t be out there to watch them. I can’t say that, in the beginning, everything was done correctly. But the past couple of times, they have done what they were supposed to do.

    I don’t have the big cobwebs I used to have in the front. Of course, I’m backed up to a wetland, so I probably get a little bit more bug action than other houses do. I’m still seeing Asian beetles and boxelder bugs, but I don’t know if that’s something they can control 100%. As far as regular things, I’m not seeing bugs like I did before. I’ve had the service for three years and Aptive’s price is comparable. Their service techs are approachable and friendly.

    We have wasps, mosquitoes, and bugs that go around the house. The individual with Aptive that comes out and does my service is fantastic. He’s the bee’s knees. I tell him what I’m encountering, and he says he’s got a solution, which I like. They’ve got different things, like the wasp bag. The guy used the mosquito basket thing that he hid in the back of the yard, which I forgot about. He would get a 6 out of 5 stars. There’s been a few bugs here and there, but they disappear shortly after because he addresses them. Aptive fixes it pretty quick. My neighbor was gonna cancel them once, but I told him not to.

    I received a phone call from Aptive on one of the days that I was really upset about having bugs in my backyard. Scheduling appointment is good. They normally text me beforehand. Every once in a while, I get an email that they’ll be coming on a certain day. If I have to, I can just text to reschedule.

    Every technician I’ve met so far has been very polite. They listen to what my concerns are, the different areas in the house, or if I need a mousetrap if I see a mouse in the barn. And they’ll recommend different things. If don’t have a mousetrap, they’ll say, next time they come, they’ll bring one or make a note about it. They’re very polite and do their work with no slacking.

    I recently signed up for Aptive and all was well for the initial service call which was a reduced $39 charge. I signed up for the pro service and mistakenly assumed that I would be charged the $79 monthly charge for each month I received a service call. However, it turns out that the billing is $79 a month regardless of whether you have a service call that month. During the winter months I will be paying $79 a month and yet will received one service. Had I read the print on the contract a little more closely I would have seen that I will be billed $79 each month regardless of whether I receive service. Not exactly what I signed up for, but I am stuck for two years now. Writing this review just of alert future customers to their billing practices. Service has been okay so far but only have had two treatments.

    Aptive has been better than what Red, the previous provider, was doing. They seem to be telling us a whole lot more about what they’re doing and what they’re covering.     Overall I am satisfied with Aptive service. I went with them as they are more of an environmentally friendly service. Their service people have all been great.

    BUT... This has now happened for the SECOND time and this practice is VERY DECEPTIVE, consumer beware! My agreement is every 90 days and all of a sudden Aptive starting coming every 60 days and charging me. I didn't catch it until a year alter when I was preparing my tax return. I NEVER agreed to this. I fought it and ended up getting about a year's worth of pest treatment for free. Now I just saw it happen AGAIN.

    I was charged July 30th and they just scheduled another appointment 9.28.25 and charged me. I didn't realize it until I went in and checked my account. They said they sent an email stating that customers find it better for them to come out more. I NEVER saw the email and furthermore I NEVER agreed to an increase in service and an additional charge. If this happens again I will be cancelling my service with Aptive. This is VERY deceptive. Consumers should be aware of this.

    Aptive Environmental's reps came in and sprayed the kitchen. They also sprayed around the outside of my house. Then they used something on the cobwebs, up and overhead. I thought they were supposed to do the yard and I didn't really see where they did the yard. They come out quarterly and the service is good. But you can't understand anybody since the techs seem like they're foreigners.

    There was a gentleman who was door-knocking on the neighborhood and we learned about Aptive from him. We had an earwigs problem and we decided to use their service. They've been super helpful and since the treatment they've done, we've experienced a big difference. Their reps are professional and they do a great job. They come knocking on the door and tell me what they need to do, then they take any requests. They've been very kind and prompt, too. Sometimes the scheduling happens a little promptly, and if an appointment doesn't work out or if it was scheduled like too close to the one before, I am not given a whole lot of time to try to reschedule it. But I understand that Aptive's reps are working with some flexible schedules, too. So, that's just a minor thing. They've been great overall.

    I have the same guy from Aptive do pest control every time, and he's great. He asked me if there's any problems anywhere inside or outside that he needed to address. When he's done, he knocks on the door and lets me know that he's done. And he appreciates the business, and then he leaves.

    We’ve been with Aptive twice. First time, I was with them for 3.5 years and they pissed me off. It wasn't my tech guy. It was the way they were doing their billing and scheduling. And so I quit them. And then just recently, in the last seven months, I've gone back with them. And so far, it's been okay.

    Aptive has been really good, especially about communication. That's one of my biggest bragging points on them. They let me know when they're on their way. They take a lot of pictures of what they do. You can easily tell they have sprayed because the side of building where they sprayed is wet. They take care of the wasp nest and the eaves really well. I have been really happy with them. I've been with Aptive for at least five years and I definitely recommend them. They've been quick to respond to anything and are good on sending out my notices on when they're coming and if there's anything special I needed to do and several different communication methods including text and email, I can easily respond to them. They usually get back to me quickly.

    This is the worse company ever, worse customer service and their product don't work at all. A representative came by our house and said many of our neighbors switched over from Brooks to Aptive, by the way, his name is MATTHEW **, if he ever comes to your door, don't waste your time and just kick him out. He will never do the things he told you he would and he plays the trick of entering the wrong phone number and email address on your profile so that you cannot cancel your account by calling their customer service.

    The day he came by and promise all kind of great pest control services and he will personally cancel your service with your current pest control company so you do not need to worry about anything in transition to switch to Aptive. He also said you will get a cancellation email from your current service provider within a day. IT NEVER HAPPEND, a week later I tried to call him, he did not pick up.

    Another week passing by, now I got a notification from my previous pest control service provider on my next routine service. I call Aptive and hope the representative will do something and they just said they will notify their management and get back to me, which NEVER HAPPEND again. I call back and told them I want to cancel your service and found out both my phone number and email does not match what they have in the system. Their customer service then told me to email them to update my number and email before I can cancel my service... It is absolutely BS. Product wise, they perform a complete service at my house the day after I signed up. 3 days later, I found a LIVE COCKROACH in my bathroom. DO NOT EVER SIGN UP WITH THEM, IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM.

    By the way, I spoke to the customer service and was told I was on a 1 year contract with them which I was never told when the rep signed me up. Their rep said you can cancelled the service at any time. We ended up with a huge argument and finally they said they will cancel my service without charging me. I knew it won't be that easy, so I had to call my bank to block this company from any future charges. As expected, few days later they called back and told me to pay the early termination fee of $199 or they will send it to collection. I won't pay a penny to this bs scam company and will fight them till the end. Again, this company is a complete SCAM, DO NO EVER FALL FOR THEIR LIES!

    I’ve used Aptive for years. Cancelled at one point and quickly learned how well it had been working to curb spiders. I’ve been back on about a year now but notice spiders, full-sized healthy ones are making their way inside my home. One just surprised me in my bathroom, and now I’m wide awake at 1:00 am and my room smells like hairspray since it was doused on said spider. This was never a problem because they were controlled outside. I’m wondering if something changed with the strength of the pesticide or what the deal is. Does anyone know?

    I had a fine experience with Aptive. The tech came and treated the interior and the exterior in the garage. We had never gotten our initial interior treatment, though.

    The tech was great. He communicated well. We did have some issues with scheduling. Not with him, he was actually great about it. But we had scheduled twice. And we entered the appointment time for after 5:00 so we would be home. Both times, they called and said, "Yeah. We're on our way to your house,” at noon. And so we scheduled again and the same thing happened. It actually happened that day as well.

    I talked to the guy because I was at work. He said there's somebody who lives in the area that we live in and he can come on the way home or whatever. So, the technician who came lives in the same area. And he kept us up to date on when he'd be there and how far away he was.

    Our pest situation better a little bit. They said to give it a couple months. I don't know that I have a specific tech, but I didn't have any issues The initial salesman, though, was really pushy and forward and gimmicky. My husband just signed up because he doesn't know how to say no. But the service so far has been good. We haven't had any issues. I've been able to call, and they've come out in between scheduled appointments to deal with black widows in the garage. That's why they came out the second time.

    My experience with Aptive was fine. A gal came. She ho seemed very knowledgeable. She sprayed. We talked to her about cicada killers. She was knowledgeable about that and told us, "You don't kill them." And she set a trap for some kind of critter that's digging around in our yard. I'm pleased..

    Aptive came to the door. At that time, I was having a problem with some kind of wasp that builds a mud nest. They took care of it right away, and so I've just stayed with them.

    The gal talked to us about ground moles, what to do. I don't have much problem with bugs anymore since we've had them for a couple years. I already have one of my neighbors using it because I told her I liked it. She saw the truck in the driveway, asked me, and I said, "Yeah. It's been good."

    HORRIBLE SERVICE ALL AROUND. The service is inconsistent. I had one technician come out and performed the service and I didn't notice a difference with the issue I was having. The second technician came out and I noticed that a few steps were done that were not performed the last time. After that the service went back to not being done as thoroughly. No one was home when the last service that was done so they just did the front walkway. NOTHING INSIDE THE HOUSE OR THE BACKYARD!!!!

    I was fed up with Aptive and emailed them to take the last payment and cancel. Common sense tells you half the work was done so half the payment should be paid. A few weeks later I get a letter because my account had been sent to collections. I called and was told that they didn't take the payment because my account had been closed. I had clearly stated to take the payment and cancel so I did my part to make sure no loose ends were left. Why am I in collections when they dropped the ball. The representative I was on the phone with said she had talked to a supervisor and was told to take the account off the collections list but I still had to pay the amount for a full service. I don't know if Aptive is aware but charging for services that were not performed is wrong and UNLAWFUL. There is many other pest services out there so do not and I repeat DO NOT use Aptive. It may cost more but it will avoid headaches and stress!!!!

    Lack of respect given to property owners. Representatives door knocking do not respect multiple NO SOLICITING signs. When asked if they are selling services, they avoid the question.     SCAM: Aptive is a scam company and should change its name to "SCAM-IT! Sales Jockeys (SJ) (HA, HA Regional Sales Manager with NO managerial skills) are deceptive, invasive, and rude. We were told we would pay a monthly fee, and now we found out if we want them to come out monthly, WE have to schedule... seriously! This is not what we were told. When you pay a monthly fee, you expect monthly service. Lies: promise you services they don't deliver on. We were told they would leave fly traps in the house. That did not happen. We were told they would do the garage. That did not happen. The service person left without checking with us, leaving "promises" unfulfilled. When we called the SJ, he said we had to ask for the traps, even though when he delivered his spiel, he said fly trap and the garage would be done as part of the service.

    We contacted the SJ within 30 minutes after he left to cancel the contract, and he would not cancel. SCAM! We are in our 80s, and we have been taken advantage of. They are BH&G magazine recommended - shame on you, BH&G! I will report to the Better Business Bureau and post their practices on Nextdoor as a scam company... in case they try to take advantage of you.

    I don’t have any problems with Aptive. It’s a wonderful service for me. Everybody’s kind and professional, and they let me know before they come. There have been a lot of services that I’ve had that have been crappy. But with Aptive, I call them back out, and they resurface whenever needed, which is now very rare. So, they’ve been great.

    I live in Texas, so sometimes if it’s been a long time or if it’s around the season that the bugs come out, I might see one or two. But as soon as I call Aptive, shortly, I don’t see them anymore. And when I call to schedule the service, I talk to somebody, and they are the last person who is prime real estate for me when it comes down to customer service and being customer-facing.

    Imagine being disabled and wheelchair bound, helpless to do the tasks that you so readily did prior to your incapacitated stroke. Now I rely on the services of others to help with my home maintenance. Introducing Aptive pest Contol, environmentally friendly, pet and people friendly and offering to protect my home from local pests.

    After bartering back and forth the Salesman Phil and I settled on a price and a program that would fit my budget, I signed the necessary documents and Phil left check in hand. His technician was to come and perform the service later that day (yesterday). Now a picture speaks volumes would you agree that they got rid of the mud daubers and that is only my initial view upon return home after the service was done. Only the tech knows if they actually did anything besides cash my check. Oh on that note they did not supply any paper receipt for this transaction so be careful.

    We've had really good luck with Aptive. The technician just came out last week, and I told him that we've been having mosquito activity, so he went ahead and did the mosquito bait. He treated all the sides of our house, and underneath the eaves, so he did more than I even thought he would.

    Everyone that's come out has been amazing and I’ve had very good rapport with them. I love how they message me that they're coming, and if it happens that I’m not here, I just tell them what I need, and they take care of it. And they send me pictures of what they did, so I'm really happy with that. We have a walkway pergola, and I didn't realize that until I saw the pictures this week that they’ve actually been cleaning that and all of our bushes, taking care of that with their big wands.

    The ants that we used to have a problem with, we don't see them very much except for now where we're digging up in the backyard to replace a lot of rotted decking and stairwell, staircases going down to it. I used to get some ants in my kitchen around springtime when it would start to rain up here, but I didn't have any ants in my kitchen or in my cabinets this year. We don’t see any spiders on our front porch anymore and the spider nests are gone. There are no more wasp nests at our upper second levels. They got rid of the yellowjackets last summer. They put all the bait out for that, and I haven’t seen any of that this year.

    It’s an expensive service, but we are in our late 60s and early 70s, so it's getting a little bit harder for us to get out there now, and we really don't want to be doing a lot of that. Now, we’re able to go outside and be able to enjoy our front porch and everything around without getting mosquito bites. I can work in the garden, and in the yard, and not have those big spiders crawling out. The pest activity has gone down to pretty much nothing. Everything that they've been doing has been a miracle worker. I can't say enough for Aptive. I'm very pleased with them.

    A door-to-door salesman came in and talked us into it. We have ants inside our kitchen, and we have gophers, but Aptive doesn’t do gophers. We've had two services so far and the ants are still in our kitchen. We just can't seem to get rid of them. The first one was scheduled with the guy that sold it to us. And the second one, we called because we kept getting ants still.

    The first service that we had, we weren't too pleased with. He didn't even talk to us. Our last visit was really good. The guy was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He addressed all the issues that we had. He discussed some things that we can do to prevent the ants. He was just amazing. We were hoping that he could even be our service adviser from now on because we didn't really care for the first guy that came out. They're scheduled to come out again next week. I hate to think that we're gonna have the service contract for a year and still have ants at the end, but we'll see what happens.

    The guy who came out from Aptive Environmental asked what we needed, we told him. And he handled it and did a few things inside and outside. That was it. He finished and did a good job. He's a nice guy, and knew what he was doing and knew what questions to ask.

    In the basement, they sprayed around the perimeter for spiders and such. Outside, they follow their regular routine. Brushing along the gutters and underneath them. They also maintain the mouse boxes by cleaning and refilling them.

    We don't have mice anymore in the basement, which is a wonderful thing. That was the main reason we got them.

    I rarely see many critters around because Aptive is doing a good job with spraying. The only thing I had a real problem with were the millipedes. I think they arrived when our people put down mulch. I had told them about the millipedes and they said they would take care of it, but the millipedes just kept coming in the house. Every day, I'd get up in the morning and they'd be crawling around on the floor. But other than that, everything else is fine.

    Usually Aptive would tell me when they're coming. And if I want to try to change it, I can get on the website and try to change it. However, any time I've tried to do that, there's nothing available. This last time, the gentleman texted me ahead of time. We chatted briefly when he arrived and sprayed where he was supposed to spray, and then he left. I received a message that he sprayed for the usual critters that show up in the summer.

    If you're having a problem with bugs, Aptive is a good resource to hire to come and take care of it.

    In the beginning of the month, Aptive's technician visited both inside and outside of my house. Interestingly, it was the same friendly and efficient gentleman from previous visits. He always remembers what needs to be done, often checking to see if any new areas need attention. I would say his service is outstanding.

    Scheduling with Aptive is an interesting process. They automatically schedule service calls, but it often feels too soon. I usually call to reschedule because the website only allows minor changes. You end up needing to handle most scheduling via phone, which can be a bit inconvenient.

    Considering the costs, that's where I hesitate. It comes down to about $80 a month, and on a fixed income, that can feel steep. Despite the cost, the service has remained excellent. I live in Florida, where palmetto bugs are common intruders. I've made sure the inside gets extra attention. Outdoors, I deal with aphids and mosquitoes, but Aptive has been diligent in addressing these issues too.

    If a neighbor were to ask me about Aptive, I'd confidently say they're professional with excellent service. Although I'd rate them a 4 due to the cost, the overall experience is positive.

    Recently, I had the pleasure of having Grant, an Aptive representative, come over for a visit. He was very punctual, sending me a text when he was on his way and arriving exactly when he said he would. We had a chat about some issues, particularly the unexpected mice problem we faced during the summer. He was attentive and put in place a couple of bait traps, including one in the attic, which I found to be a considerate touch.

    We’ve had an on-and-off relationship with Aptive for a few years, originally calling on them to tackle ant problems, which were subsequently under control for a while. More recently, last year, we decided to enlist their help once more to manage ants and mosquitoes.

    I've certainly noticed a difference since they resumed their services. While they primarily treat the exterior, this past visit marked the first time in two years they also treated the inside, which was beneficial. Reflecting on my overall experience, I’d give them a strong rating in terms of service and customer relations, albeit acknowledging their prices can be a tad high, so my value-for-money rating would stand at about 4 stars.

    Aptive’s call center has been great. Some of their techs are good, and they do the job very thoroughly. And then some do a half-ass job and spray quick. They don’t even address the concerns that my wife and I pointed out to them. It is a hit or miss. I like it where you get the same technician constantly so they know your property and how it works. Every time it is a new technician, that is the part that we do not like and we are probably going to cancel once we fulfill our one-year contract next month. We might go back to the old company because they have a lower rate than what Aptive is charging.

    Also, when the sales manager came by the neighborhood, he made it sound very good like they are way better than the other pest companies. That was why we canceled our previous one. But still, Aptive has been not as good as what the sales manager made, their service and their products. They are not delivering on what they promised us.

    I had a bad experience from beginning to end. It started with high pressure sales tactics. I told the salesman multiple times that I was not interested. Each time he would keep pushing. He would add new services or cut the price. I eventually gave in and signed up. Now I am committed for 24 months for a service that I don't want. When the technician came, he sprayed around the outside of the house for a few minutes and left. He didn't do any of the additional services that I was promised. When I told them I was not satisfied, they just told me they were very proud of their customer service, but they didn't even try to address any of my concerns.

    I've had other people spraying out here and they don't even come close to Aptive. The service person was wonderful and very polite. I didn't realize I had mosquitoes because I haven't seen any mosquitoes at all this year, but he said they were in the bushes laying their eggs.     I have been using Aptive for a couple years now, so it’s good. I signed up with them because of the fire ants in the yard that do not seem to go away. A gentleman sold me the service when he first came to the house, and he was really nice. I talked about concerns and he explained it. The techs were great too. They always listened to me and they did what I ask. So, I do not have any complaints with them. They also made sure they did their regular service.     Technicians are terrible. Customer service is even worse. Sales rep was very thorough and made detailed notes. We went over exactly what chemicals/products would be used and what areas of the house and yard would be treated. The tech shows up and just sprays everything in sight with pesticide, including my organic garden, fruit trees, and the entire lawn. They did not perform any of the other tasks that were scheduled. Their customer service is dehumanizing and insufferable. They will ignore your questions, gaslight you, and throw the service agreement in your face. Good luck getting a resolution or even a conversation.

    I heard about Aptive because a representative came to my door one day. I live on a lake, and we have a lot of bugs and spiders. And their service has really cut that out to almost nothing. Their regular schedule covers all my needs. They were just at my house a couple days ago.

    The technician that I've worked with before has always been very good, explains everything, takes lots of pictures to show me what he did and where things are located. So, I've been very satisfied with that.

    I went with Aptive because I had ants in my upstairs bathroom. The guy showed up on time, and he was very communicative. He was easy to get along with, and he did a good job. They took care of the issue slowly, but surely. They do the treatments, but they are not all the way gone. Overall, it was a decent experience. But, I am going to do my own preventive maintenance.     It was really good. He was very attentive. He made sure to reach out and talk to me in person before doing any work, and afterwards he went over everything with me.

    Aptive’s technicians are usually pretty attentive, but the last one was especially attentive. Normally, I get a text that they’re on the way and will arrive in a few minutes, which is nice. They also send pictures.

    The service is never bad. It’s always good, and I really appreciate that. The last service stood out. I don’t think I’ve had one like that since early on when I first signed up for the plan.

    Most of it is preventative, but we did have an issue with cockroaches. We’re close to a field, so it was pointed out that cockroaches would be a problem. And it proved to be the case. Since I've gotten the service, we at least don’t have any alive ones.

    I would definitely recommend Aptive. I just don’t get many chances to refer people because everyone I know already uses them, my parents and all my friends who have their own houses. I don’t have a lot to compare it to, but I’d say the price is fairly decent. It’s a little expensive, but it’s worth it for the results.

    I had a good customer service experience with Aptive. Recently, a guy came out on time. He was very polite and asked us what problems we were having. He was about to leave when my daughter came out and said we were having another issue. He came back, took care of it, and gave us information about what he saw.

    The people who come from Aptive are very nice and seem very service-oriented. The only thing is that occasionally I really have no sense of when they’re going to come. Sometimes it feels like three weeks, and then sometimes it feels like two months. I don't know if that's me or them trying to get ahold of me, but letting me know when to expect them would help. Sometimes my daughter will say she got a spider bite, and I don’t know when the next visit will be.

    I love Aptive. I’ve never met any grumpy person. They’ve always been very friendly and wonderful. They’ve always explained and got a good sense of humor. Whenever somebody mentions pest control, I say they have to use Aptive.

    We had somebody for pest control before in our other house and I wasn’t really thrilled with them. They were not very friendly and the attitude was really different. It was just like they really didn’t care.

    I was sitting outside one day and an after-sales person from Aptive came to our gate. She explained the program and was very nice. She said that if I cancel sooner, there’s a penalty. But after a year, if I don’t like their service, I could just cancel. We were fairly new in the house and we didn’t have pest control so I tried Aptive.

    Lots of people started coming and we’ve got a little schedule. We have our house and our rental house next door so they do both. hey go above and beyond as far as being courteous and they take the little pictures and text them.

    And then a couple of years ago, we had a hornet problem with our rental. Right above the front door was a nest up in the eaves. One of them stung one of our renters. And so, fortunately, there was another door to go out the front off the kitchen so they started using that. I called Aptive and they came out. It took three different treatments before the problem was resolved and I never got charged extra. I was so impressed that they took it upon themselves to fix this issue and tell us where we should shore up the entrance into the crawl space. We got our contractor to do that and haven’t had a problem since. I thought that it was gonna cost a lot. But they just came out and took care of it. It was really wonderful.

I have no complaints at all about the technicians or any of the customer service representatives, they’ve all been great. They let me know what’s going on and explain what they did to treat the issue.

    I’m on a quarterly schedule with them, and if any issues come up in between, they’ll come out and take care of them within a day or two.

    Aptive is great. We had been using Orkin, but someone came to the door and sold us Aptive Environmental instead. That was a long time ago.

    The technicians are very good. They are honest, always telling me what they're doing and answering my questions. I have noticed a difference in pest activity. Orkin always had to come inside the house and Aptive never has. That's a pretty big change.

    That was really good. Matt did a very good job. I usually have one particular guy who comes here, and he knows the property. He knows where to go. And anytime that I've dealt with Aptive, they've done a great job. So far, I haven't seen any increased number of ants. If anything, it seems like this last treatment is starting to do the job. As far as the price, I think it could be a little bit cheaper. But sometimes it's like this, you get what you pay for. So far, I'm happy with the treatment.

    We used to use Aptive Environmental four years ago at our last house and it was an excellent service. We got them again and we don't have the problem we had with them before anymore. When calling Aptive for a problem, I guarantee there will be no problem afterwards. We just reach out and set up the schedule for our new house and it was real quick. Everything was perfect.     Someone came to my door and was so informative and nice that I signed up with him right then and there. We happened to have a ton of spiders at the time and Aptive was very reasonably priced. I just had my normal treatment done and the technician was very thorough. He took pictures of every place that he worked on, was super sweet and was on time. In the summer, I use them every month. In the winter months, it's every two to three months. We never have bugs after they come. It's been awesome.

    An Aptive salesman came to the door one day, and explained the way their process works, and they use products that are not poisonous. I liked the sound of it, so I tried them. Their technicians are always kind and communicative. I really enjoy it when they are here. One time they were here, I talked to the guy for a long time. He also put out the mosquito and the wasp traps. Another technician was here last week and did his thing like they normally do. I like their services, and I’ve been very satisfied so far.     I’m having a good experience with Aptive Environmental. But during the sign-up, I was a little leery of them because the last company I signed up with never showed up. So, I didn’t want to even sign up, but I did sign up. And they even lowered the cost when I moved to Brentwood. Because I was paying 100. Now, I’m paying 79. So, it’s a great deal. 

    And the techs usually come out in twos. I don’t know if they’re training somebody, but they do a really good job, and they’re really fast. And what I really like is that they call me before they show up to make sure I’m here. And I think that’s great. Because sometimes, my mind is lost. I was in an accident and had brain damage. And so, I forget a lot of stuff.

    When I initially did the consult with the guy who knocked on my door, he didn't really say how he would take care of them. But I know he said daddy longlegs were part of the thing that they could take care of. From what I've gathered from everybody who's come to the house, all they do on the interior of anything is strictly spray the baseboards.
    Daddy Longlegs in the garage, they still appear, but I'm not too worried about that. Sometimes, if I ask them, they'll run the dust ball in the garage and get rid of it. They said they would get rid of daddy longlegs, but that never happened. The silverfish went away. I don't see them as much as I used to.

    So far, it's been good. They all seem a little lackadaisy their sprayer might be dripping a little bit. But for the most part, I've come across, they're all good people. They're all very friendly. If I ask them to do the dust ball around the house, around the outside, they'll do it. It's never been anybody in a negative light or anything like that. They've always answered any questions I have or tried to help out. It's a fair service, but don't get your hopes up like it's gonna solve everything. It works, but I don't think it works as good as they claim it does.

    The experience with Aptive Environmental has been fine. They're even very accommodating when I want to reschedule. When the technician comes out, they ask if there's anything in particular that's bugging us and they take pictures of everything they do. The guys that come here have been really good and thorough. I've had them down in the basement the last couple of times to see if we have fleas. Anytime I talk to the guys, they know what they're doing and they know more about bugs than I do.     I was home when the Aptive technician came. I described what kind of service I needed, and then he went and did it. I've had Aptive since before COVID. I don't have to schedule them because they come routinely. So if I have to adjust the schedule for whatever reason, because sometimes there are pets here, I call them since I get both email and text message announcements of when the next scheduled date is. I can usually talk to someone and reschedule it almost always.

    Sometimes no one's at home when the technician comes. When I'm not here, they send me pictures. And I've had many different technicians come. Sometimes I talk to them a bit, and then they go on and do their stuff. One time we've had one come inside because we haven't had any indoor problems with bugs except recently. I talked to the technician and he was polite. He came and did the inside stuff, and then he went and did the outside stuff.

    Everthing is expensive nowadays but it's worth what I pay for Aptive, especially with the positive results. I paid online a few times, using their tool but that was a long time ago, and then I made it automated when they come do the service. But overall, I'm very satisfied with Aptive.

    Everyone in my family uses Aptive. I have the service already scheduled and it’s been excellent every time and very professional. The technician always lets me know when he's coming and when he gets here. Most times, he takes pictures of the property and sends me pictures when he finishes. They treat my house from insects, yard, inside and out, whenever needed. We’ve only seen maybe one or two roaches, but they're meadow bugs, so that means they come from outside, and basically nothing else. We've had some work done on the house and a mouse got in. I think we got it, I don’t know, but I'm not worried about it ‘cause if I call, they’ll come anyway.

    A month ago was one of my routine scheduled visits, and they went around the outside of the house, cleared out spiderwebs and checked for pests. They also put some anti-ant stuff in my kitchen. Scheduling a call to come out is really. You can do it online or you can call their customer service. I usually end up rescheduling the appointment, and it is easy with their 800 number.

    We originally reached out to them because we had some kind of bug infestation in our pantry. I don’t have any concerns outside, so that is why I tend to reschedule them and only have them come out a couple times a year. Since they have been coming out, I have not had the bugs back in the pantry. So, it’s been successful. Aptive is a good company. They try and sell you the most comprehensive plan, but I ended up downgrading to a very standard plan because price is expensive, and it has been fine. They have been easy to work with.

    We’ve had people out here and they have done whatever we’ve asked. When we signed up earlier in the year, they gave us a price break. Recently, a gentleman came, rang the doorbell and he always asked what we need to have done if we have any issues in the house. He has this routine where he goes around all the windows and the garage door, and we oftentimes will have him also treat inside the garage.

    This last year, we have not had any problems with spiders or ants. That was the big thing last winter, but this winter has been okay. So, he usually treats on the side where the plumbing is for the sink and the washer, and he goes around the exterior of the house.

    They are friendly and they wear a name tag, which I appreciate. That’s important today. When they leave, there’s usually a response you can look at in an email if they treated anything that that they had seen. The price is also fair, and their website is straightforward. I am given a heads-up that they are going to be coming soon and they will post a date online, of which I am appreciative of because once in a while, I’ve had to call and to reschedule.

    We usually get ant problems around this time of year, but there hasn’t been much activity since we had Aptive. I just saw an ant the other day. I do know that they're coming out to spray again. Last year, once we started having this issue, they were here, and it was gone immediately.

    Their technicians do a wonderful job and they're very professional and friendly. They know what they’re talking about. They let me know when they’re coming and when they’re on their way. If they come into the house, they put booties on to make sure that their feet are clean and they’re very respectful of the property. They will also send me pictures of things that they’re doing outside, so I know everything. They ask me if I have questions or need anything. If I have any issues, I can always have them come back. I like that the company sends a survey asking for feedback about their technician. It’s nice to have that communication. So far, I’ve been very happy with everything that they’ve done.

    Aptive Environmental techs are very good. They come when they say they come. They always give me a report about what they did with pictures and a recommendation for follow-up, but I never feel pressured to do anything more. I never feel as though they’re selling me anything. I usually schedule the visit on the app, and they text me if I want to change or keep the reservation. They're courteous, efficient, and very professional.

    We don’t have any issues so far. Sometimes, in the wintertime, we get mice in the garage. That’s not the case this winter. I’m hoping that’s because of the fact that we’re doing extra measures with Aptive than we did before.

    I’ve been a customer for about two years now, and I’ve been extremely pleased with the results. Before starting with Aptive, I struggled with persistent spider and ant issues. Since using their service, those problems have been completely resolved, and I haven’t had any recurring pest issues.
