I have always been very pleased with Aptive. They did my house a week ago and they did a good job. I haven’t seen any bugs. Their representatives come out automatically every month on the schedule that we set up at the beginning. I have no complaints about that. They’re always polite and communicative. They let me know what they’ve done. They always take pictures.

The service provided by Aptive has been mostly good. So far, I am happy. Whatever they do is working. I haven’t been a victim of any pests. Their technicians are courteous, send a text half an hour before they arrive and send photos of what they did and ask if I need anything special.

I had one of their technicians come out on a routine. They come out and spray the property every once in a while. I don't remember exactly the frequency, but it's effectively every month during the summer and every two or two and a half months during the winter. They're very professional, and I have no problems with them whatsoever. They're very easy to work with. They send me a text message to let me know when they're on their way, and they also let me know when they arrive.
I work a few miles away from my house, so I'll come meet them so they can get inside. They're patient and will wait if I need a few minutes to get to the house. They know what they're doing, and I get a sense that they understand their role and their job. They're very prompt, courteous, polite, and happy to have a conversation while they work.
They pay attention to everything that I point out, so if I have any areas of concern, they'll come out and pay extra attention to that. I've had no problems with their hands-on service. They also send a follow-up explanation and pictures to show where they focused around the property. I had yellow jackets on the side of my house, and they came out and took care of it without any extra charge.
As far as pest activity, it's virtually disappeared. I have an old house, and since starting service, the pests have been greatly reduced. I might get the occasional spider or fly, but compared to before, it's a massive reduction. I believe their service is well worth it.
All their traps also show evidence of their effectiveness. The yellow jacket trap is full of yellow jackets, and the mosquito trap is full of mosquitoes. I've already recommended them to my neighbors. I would describe them as fast, courteous, professional, and effective.

What a rip off! Do not sign up with them. I actually have seen more bugs since they came and sprayed for bugs. I think they are just getting more bugs from whatever they are doing. I’ve been trying to get out of the contract like I was told I could do at any time but they are still trying to bill me.

I've been using their service for a year and a half now. They came for routine maintenance. Normally, I'm not at home. The technician just gives me updates by sending pictures of what they've done. The pests have stopped coming.

Everything has been pleasant so far with Aptive. I’ve been with them for about three years. Technicians always communicate their ETA. They let me know if they see a specific need, let me take pictures, and let me know what they have done. They are respectful and have always been nice.

I've been with Aptive for a while now, and they come out for a routine check. Actually, I was gonna change because there were some issues. One guy said they don't do the back, then the other guy didn't do the front. So they sent me a different technician, Seneca, who's pretty good. He has come the last two times and I hadn't had any issues.

A gentleman from Aptive was here yesterday. He was very efficient and professional, and knew what to do. He also helped me set up the automatic payment for a new account on my phone. Very pleased with him. Services are automatically scheduled on the 1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month.

I’ve been with Aptive for about eight to ten years. The technicians are always friendly, quick, and professional. They spray around the outside, fill the bait stations, and clean spider webs or wasp nests when needed. I like that they send me photos of the work so I know what’s been done.
Since having Aptive, my pest problems have diminished. I don’t see mice in the house anymore, and my rat problem has pretty much disappeared. My neighbors still struggle with rats, but I tell them Aptive works for me.
I have a couple of issues, though. They say they come every 50 to 80 days, but it’s usually closer to 40, which adds an extra treatment each year. I also had a price increase I wasn’t told about, but after I left a review, a regional manager called me, apologized, and gave me back my original rate.

My experience with Aptive Environmental has been good. The technician who comes to my home explains what he is going to do during the treatment and follows up afterward, which is what I expect. It's on normal schedule, and I haven't had a problem with any of them. I've been doing it for a year now with them. We called them in because we had an infestation of ants, and that's all been taken care of. I don't have any problems with that.

Aptive Environmental has me on a schedule. They email me and then text me the week before that they're coming, and so I know they're coming. There have been times when I haven't been home and I've still asked them to come. It works out really well for me because they will just stop by and do what they need to do, and then they let me know they've been here and send me pictures.
Their technicians have been exceptional, very easy to work, and take care of everything. One of them actually found some areas that needed spraying that I didn't know about. Recently, Aptive sprayed my exterior and then sent me a text with pictures after. They asked me if I wanted the interior as well, but I have a dog, and so I worry about stuff being done on the inside. Plus, once the outside is treated, I don't have any problems on the inside. So I don't really require it. I used to get tiny little red bugs in my basement but I haven't seen any bugs and spiders since Aptive started spraying. Not even in my house, and so I love that. It's been really great.

I love Aptive. They’re great, and do an excellent job. Overall, I am very happy with their service. The recent technician was extremely polite. He told me exactly what he was gonna do and when he was gonna do it. Yesterday, I found a wasp, and we’ve been having trouble with them. The technician sprayed extra and was very helpful with that. But there might be a nest up in the chimney, so I’m gonna have to put the fireplace on tonight to get rid of them that way. We also don’t have any of those big roaches coming from the sewage that we used to get, because we’ve got two big plates out in front of the house.
The only thing that aggravates me with Aptive is that instead of doing the service four times a year, as initially agreed upon, they call a month and a half or two months later. We have to let them know that we just had a service done. My daughter has been having the same issue. We agreed that if this happens one more time, we’ll both leave Aptive and go somewhere else.
We used to have a young lady, who was excellent, very social, and always made sure that the service was four times a year. She would call and ask how things were going. If I had a problem, I just called her. She was transferred about 6 months after that. The new person Aptive placed in was not helpful at all. She never called and one could never get in touch with her. So, we just stopped and now I just call whoever. I’d still give them a 5 because they’re good with what they do. I’ve even recommended Aptive to a friend. The technicians are fantastic.

They send me the time of my service and when they are on the way. If I'm home, good. If I'm not, it's also good. Recently, I wasn't home but they did a good job. They sent me pictures of what they did. Aptive is serving its purpose well, and we've had zero issues with pests.

Absolutely horrible. Pressured my disabled veteran husband with TBI to sign contract while I was at work. Within 24 hours we emailed and cancelled service. Showed up the next month after charging again. We demanded they get off our property. Never Showed up but still charged us a third time. We called and got confirmation they would refund us all charges but and that never happened. Now they are telling my bank we didn’t follow cancellation policy even though it clearly states you have 3 days to cancel. And we have proof of absolutely all of it. No follow up call by company. No follow up emails. Just a total scam and if you question me. Google/Reddit etc. for yourself for the endless complaints.

I would leave negative star rating if possible. Products do not work, and no option to transfer service without signing a new service agreement. Likely a violation that needs the attention of the FTC. Their customer service guaranteed a no-fee cancellation of service after several complaints, yet they continued to bill me. One of my worst experiences with a business. I swear they are spraying a neutral solution around my property because I had spiders/webs and ants all over the exterior of the home after several applications. Photos to prove. They need to be put out of business immediately.

I was in a quarterly plan with this company for quite some time paying $185 per quarter. I don’t have any complaints about their technicians who were all very nice. My issue started when one of their salesmen came to my door & misled me into signing up for their mosquito treatment add on, which he told me would only add an additional $10 to my bill.. so I agreed to the service.
Suddenly I was shocked to realize when looking through my credit card statements, that they started charging me $196 per MONTH since July! That’s a lot more than an extra $10 each quarter! Then when I called to complain, they refused to issue me a refund for those charges, so I cancelled. Now they lost a loyal long time customer… and unfortunately I’m also like $600 poorer. Not a loss I can easily afford. I definitely do not recommend this company and their shady sales tactics. This was a lesson for me to make sure to always read the fine print & not believe the words some salesperson tells me.

Aptive Pest Control has been the worst service experience I’ve had. Their team lacks coordination and proper communication. Every time I raised concerns about ongoing pest issues, nothing meaningful was done. The regional manager made promises to resolve things but never followed through. When a technician finally arrived, he came with a single spray bottle to handle spiders, ignoring several other issues I had reported.
For a company charging $65 a month, the service quality is unacceptable. The visits feel rushed and ineffective, and there’s no accountability or consistency between appointments. I would not recommend Aptive Pest Control to anyone looking for reliable or professional pest management. It’s a complete waste of money.

If I could give it less than zero, I would. The person I spoke to originally forged my name to a contract, my bank investigated and determined it was fraud. I tried to cancel many many times but I keep getting request for payment for service is no longer received. I’ve spoken to couple of managers. I’ve sent several emails to no avail. It is getting to be harassment. The card in question was canceled by the bank due to forgery. Elizabeth

Crazy expensive for what it is, and billed monthly, not just per service. When calling to cancel, they force you to have the person who's name is on the account on the call, even if it is a spouse. No other form of verification is accepted.

I was charged 56. And change monthly without service. When I called I was told it’s a monthly charge. Really without service… I called, cancel and told it would cost 200.00 at this point wanted service for 3 months that I was charged. Also I was told it’s a have a 2 yr contract which I did not sign. So from $56 to $ 66 till October of next year. The technician service is great, the companies tactics are another.

I live in a rural home on a large acreage and Aptive was soliciting door-to-door. I use them monthly for preventative measures, such as for issues with mice and general pest control. They treat the outside of the house and Aptive has been prompt. They always follow up with photos. I happened to be there when they scheduled a drop by. They went over any outstanding things that I wanted to take a look at that they haven't. They've been very thorough, so I find no fault with them so far.
We had an initial walkthrough. They depend upon me to spot issues if they haven't seen them. A couple of times, I have had things come to my attention as a homeowner. I brought it to them and I've seen it corrected. Their driver that comes by has always been courteous and thorough. He's always inquisitive, asking if there anything else he could do to help. Field service is top-notch.
Aptive is a little pricey, but this stage, it's been worth it. Their pricing makes it more tempting for a customer to try the product and then terminate it at the end of the mandatory timeline. It's just edgy enough to where you're looking for it to expire so you can reevaluate. If it were lower, you tend to just renew it as a matter of it’s just automatic. There was a one or two-year agreement I had to sign with a stiff termination penalty. That gave me some thought as to whether it was a scam or not. I've been in business and my company has sold service contracts. Generally speaking, nobody wants to be in a contract that the other party wants out of, to make a way to wish you were out of it. I'm suspicious of companies that do that, but with Aptive, the results have been good.

I saw Aptive’s vehicle and found that my neighbor had them. We had ants, so I approached them and got the service. They're always courteous and willing to listen to concerns and answer questions. We’ve seen a difference with the ants. Overall, it’s been a very good experience.

I've been with Aptive for quite a few years. I want to keep pests at bay, such as wasps, because I'm allergic to them. So, I value that Aptive keeps them away from nesting on my property. The cost is reasonable and overall they do a good job. I’d definitely recommend.

I’ve been using Aptive since August and so far it’s been good. I had a problem with boxelder bugs and got a hold of them. They came out the very next day so I was very pleased with that. Also, I’ve talked to the technician a couple of times and I left him a note one time. And he got it and did exactly what I wanted.

Had a door to door sales person (college student) approach me several times last spring for services. They offered a rodent program and kept reducing the service fee and told me I could cancel at any time. I agreed. I paid for 4+ months, got 1 service call with rodent trap and some broadcast material, but no other visits. Called to cancel and was told I had a "contract" which was contrary to what I was sold. I cancelled anyway and they are threatening me with an unpaid bill and if not paid to be sent to collections. I would not trust them as this was a "bait and switch" - low entry verbal terms, no services, then claim it was contractual.

Extremely bad experience, rate them below zero! After first visit, more roaches were found. Second visit was "free" but I waited technician for 7! hours. And NO results at all. When I stopped the service, they continued to charge monthly fees and cancellation. Customer service was rude and unhelpful!

My experience with Aptive has been good. The technicians who have come out, including the most recent visit in October, have all been okay. There’s not as much pest activity around the property.
