I was looking for a shower-bath bathroom system. My plumber told me that American Standard products were the best, so I decided to go with them. They're a little pricey, but they have a lifetime guarantee. The installation person was very good. He did make a mistake and had to order a part because he cut it too small, but it came and everything was good.

American Standard did a good job on our house in Florida. But the price of the walk-in bath may have been a little higher than some of the other ones. For two of them, we spent around $30,000. And we've only got to use it a couple of times because we live in Missouri most of the time. We showered there maybe five times since we've had it. We probably could have got something comparable, a little bit cheaper. But when the wife found what she wanted, we signed the deal. We went with a very deluxe thing with the rainfall shower thing plus the separate spray head. It was very nice and luxurious. We got the teak wood sheets that fold out. We had a tub pulled out and had the nice shower put in with the barn door rollers and the heavy glass. My wife went all out on what she wanted. That'll be our retirement home eventually.

The sales rep came over one afternoon and talked to us about the walk-in tub. He showed us different options and we were somewhat interested in it. He got some measurements and left. I called him back a day later and told him that we would like to have the walk-in tub installed. And he came back and got the final measurements. The installers came in and took the old tub out and installed the shower. It meets our needs. We would have had the shower a little bit lower. So I told him to put it at that height. And it was a little bit high for my wife, but we can make it. It's a lot easier for both me and my wife to get in and out.

I called American Standard for a walk-in tub but that's not what I got. What was told to us was it would be hard to sell the house with a walk-in tub. I bought the product over what the salesman said but his recommendation was wrong. He talked me into getting a shower where my tub was. It's a shower up front and on the end of it where your foot would be sitting in the tub is a shower also. They have a bench that you can sit up. My wife and I were talking about it last week. I was telling her that the shower is beautiful. I like it but we don't have a tub. I have trouble with my back and that was what I wanted the walk-in tub for. Sometimes I like to take a bath or just sit in the tub. Also, I understood the salesman saying that I was supposed to get a hot water heater with the product. But he said he didn't say that.

The American Standard walk-in bath is amazing. My favorite feature is the shower. It’s nice to sit on a chair in the wall and let the water run all over you. Things are easy to grab and do whatever you wanna do and it’s so easy to clean. But using the walk-in bath is too much for me at my age. I probably would use it more if I was younger, get around more.

American Standard Walk-in Baths had better quality and competitive pricing. Also, their rep was intense. He was a very good salesperson. It was very interesting. He had a lot of energy and knew what his stuff was. He was, “No, no, no. You need to look at this. If this is what you're going for, you will like this. We'll check this out. This fits in your price range.” He knew everything, knew how to pitch it to us and found what would work with our budget. The installers were great guys. They came in. Within two days, they were done. And I couldn't even tell they were here. They cleaned up. They were polite, quick and efficient. My grandmother and mom love the shower. The price can be a little on the high side, but it makes life much better and is worth the money.

I liked American Standard Walk-in Baths' product better. The price was the only down part of it. But it was still cheaper than other companies I talked to. Also, American Standard's rep was very knowledgeable. She explained what they offered and what my options were. I had another company come out after her. And I liked her better, so I contacted them, had them come out and do the work. The installers came in and did it all in one day. They had to come back because the drain leaked. And the guy came back the next day and fixed it. My wife can get in and out of the shower without having this 13" step to get into the tub. I enjoy the shower better because I can get in and out of it easier.

American Standard's rep was great. The installation went very well. They told me it would take two days and I was fine with that, but they finished in one. The work is pristine. It's a good walk-in shower. But it's too narrow and I'm very uncomfortable in there. And it's a shame because I paid so much money for it. I got rid of the tub because it was narrow to hold a seat. This shower holds a seat, but it's too narrow. When I stand up to shower, my elbows hit the wall and door. They should have said, "You've got more space here." I have a big bathroom and the wall extends out that it's on. They could have made it another six inches deeper and not had to do any construction, and they should have thought of that.

They did a shower for me. The reps were very professional and easy to have in the house. I'm very satisfied and happy with the final product. I had them re-place the grab bars I had because they are better than the ones that came with the American Standard because they are non-slip. That's very important when somebody is disabled or old. Also, the seat in the back is a little larger than the normal one. I would like to have had a longer metal hose to bring the shower head back to my husband better. He can't get it over his shoulder.

The installation of our American Standard was very good. It was done efficiently. The quality of the product is very good too. I'm satisfied.

It was a good shower install, and the quality of the shower is very good. The only thing I don't like about it is at the bottom of the sliding glass doors, it's plastic. Everything else is top-notch. People would think they would put metal in it. The first day, American Standard had to come in and redo it. I called them, and I had it fixed within a week. Other than that, I was very happy with them and with their calls. They were very helpful getting the piece to fix the issue. The shower is pricey, but it's worth it. I'm very safe and comfortable in it. I've been off my feet for two and a half months now, because I had an operation on my foot. I'm using the handicap part of it too, and I enjoy it. I'd much rather be standing up to take my shower but if I gotta sit, I'd sooner sit in one of theirs.

I had one other guy come in. But the American Standard salesman was a lot more professional and we got a better price. But the installation took a lot longer than they said it would because the installer wasn't happy with the base for the shower. So we had to order another one that put us off for two weeks. We had a room we couldn't use for two weeks because of that. Wasn't the installer's fault, though. It was whoever supplied him with the parts. I had to get rescheduled for the guy to come back in because he had other work to do. But the tech was a professional. He explained everything before he did it to us. I was satisfied with him. I paid to have somebody else do it. I wanted it done right. We're more than happy with it. My wife really likes it. We use it every day to shower. I especially like the shower that we installed. I like having a wand in the shower.

I had a wonderful experience with American Standard. We got it in July and we love it. The quality is awesome. We were also extremely happy with the reps. They finished everything perfectly. They were done in one day and they went above and beyond as far as keeping our house clean. They were amazing. Everything was exceptional.

I liked American Standard’s price. And they sounded good to me. The rep came in and we looked at what I wanted done. He told me what he could offer. The installers were fast, efficient, and cleaned up very well after themselves. The shower looks good. I was satisfied.

I liked American Standard's product and what they had to offer, and they have financing. The rep was friendly and professional. Gave me different options to choose from. He knew what he was talking about, gave me information about the company. He had good customer service skills. It was a good experience. Also, the installers got here on time. They told me if there were a couple of situations in my bathroom, what they might have to do to correct them, and to give me a heads-up in the event that they ran into anything. One advised me that it may carry over to the next morning so that I was aware in the event they didn't get done.

After paying 20k on a new walk-in shower with installation, it was not installed correctly and the company acknowledged it was done wrong but no one will get back with me to fix it. The spacer that was clearly supposed to be on the back of the tub was put on the front and the shower nozzle was put on my side wall, shooting water out of the shower on the floor.

The rep explained everything to me. He stated what the differences were and what it would take to install the shower. The installer was nice. He asked me if it was okay if he stayed late to finish and I said yes. Everything was good but they didn't bring my grab bars. So those haven't been installed yet. The tech also told me before he left that there'd be some places that would bubble and they would need to come back and grout. They haven't done that either but I spoke with the lady with American Standard and she got the information for a work order for that to be done because I could never get the installer back over here.

We had two guys come down for the installation and they were very good workers. Also, the shower works good. It’s just I gotta watch the drain. It stops up a little quicker and now and then it'll overflow if I don't watch it.

We live in a rather remote area and there aren't that many people or teams that come out here to do an installation of a walk-in shower, which is a pretty big job, but American Standard had one that did. The sales rep that came out, Jim, was a really nice guy and he seemed to do a complete job. He made sure we knew everything upfront. We didn't have any problems with him but I had some problems with the shower enclosure. We had a shower seat installed and it's one without legs. When we first tried to use it, we couldn't sit in it. It kept slipping out because when I bring the seat down, it's at a downward angle and when I sit on it, it goes at a further downward angle and I slip right out. For the past three months, I've been trying to get them to change the seat and they say they're gonna put one in that has legs so it won't dip down. I don't know how they ever sell a seat like the one we got because there's no way we could use that seat and I can't see how anybody else could either.

Everybody else my shower was custom-made so they couldn't do it. But their rep figured out a way to do it. The experience was great and the shower is beautiful. It's expensive but I like it.

American Standard had been around for a while. So, I know it wasn't a fly-by-night company. I replaced an existing two showers through them. The installation went well. The guy who was working on it did everything right. I kept checking every once in a while. I know that once he turned the water back on, there was something turned on that he should have had off. It did squirt water out in the time it took him to get the water shut back off. Other than that, I don't think they had any issues. There is one little thing on the top that I think I'm gonna have to sand off, but the guy told me he'd come back and do it if I wanted him to. One of the little plastics like a bumper that goes along the edge of the door is not all the way to the bottom where it hits the ground part. So, it stands up about an inch above the door, and it's an inch short on the bottom.

The sales rep was very polite and thorough in what she explained to me. The installer was very good. He had two more people with him and it took them half a day to install the American Standard walk-in bath the first time. Then, they came back to check a couple more things at different times to make sure everything was okay and got everything the way I wanted it.

The sales rep was very businesslike and extremely knowledgeable about the products and the procedures. The installation team worked on the walk-in bath and did it in a day. They came back the next day to finish a few small details but all the major work was done. They asked me not to use the shower and I let it set for two days to let the sealant cure. The walk-in bath has a hand shower and a showerhead. When I first started, I was turning on the wrong one. But once you learn which way the handle goes, it comes on normally. I love that as it's running, you can select how warm the water is.

The rep was very descriptive on everything that was gonna be done. The installers cleaned up well. So far, the walk-in shower is great though it was very expensive. I love it. The water flows well.

The sales rep was very familiar with the product and the installers were very professional. They worked through it and had a couple rain showers come through too. But I've been waiting for over three weeks to hear back about a problem I have with the shower. One of the covers came off the bottom of the safety bar.

The rep gave us a few pointers on sizes. My wife is a bigger lady and he recommended that the smaller tub would be pretty tight on her, so we went with the bigger size. We had a rough timeframe for when the installers were gonna be there. But they called four days ahead, set up everything, and showed up. They tore out another tub we had in and assembled the new one. The installation was set up for two days but they finished it in one. My wife finds the tub great and it has made it a lot easier. We had to drive to my son's house which had a shower we could get into but now we can do it all from our own home. As far as safety, it has handrails. It also has air and water jets.

I always heard that American Standard was one of the best and I went with them. We got a handicapped shower and our sales rep was very pleasant and full of knowledge about the product. She understood what we needed. The installation took two days. So far, it seems to be great.

American Standard has its own plumbing line, which I've used for years and the sales representative wasn't a jerk like most of them are. The installers came, did all the work, answered all my questions and cleaned up after themselves. I absolutely, positively could not be happier. I was expecting it to be a total nightmare. Every time somebody comes and I ask for any work done, they scratch their heads and say they’ve got so much more problems involved. But the two gentlemen did nothing of that. All they did was do the work perfectly.

After spending $24,000 to have two new showers installed in my condo when one of the doors developed a leak in one corner they would not return my calls when you called the service department. When you called sales and complained enough they said they would escalate it and I would hear from them in 48 hours. That's been a month ago. The showers are great, but don't expect ANY service or repairs after the sale.

American Standard called me and I thought I was making the appointment with another company, but I got hooked up with them. Their guy was very nice and professional. He went through the stuff and we decided to get the walk-in shower. The installation took was two days. The installer was a younger guy and he was very nice. He kept things very clean. It went in smoothly.

The lady that came out from American Standard was absolutely fabulous. The installation took a lot longer than any of us thought. There were some problems. They had to tear all the inside walls out because they had rotted. But it’s an all-around good shower. They put a seat in and bars where I could help myself get up or get out. I like the convenience. It's easy to get in and out of. I only have to step up a little bit, so it turned out to be quite safe for me because I'm crippled. It's great. They were extremely professional and the installers, I've never had so much fun in my life because they picked on me.

The American Standard rep explained everything, showed us the product and he went through the whole thing. The installers come in at 8 o'clock and they were gone by 6:00. I like the fact that it's American-made and made in Texas and it's a good product. The shower has lots of room. It's better than trying to walk around the tub that we had. There is room for my chair. We're satisfied.

We had a nice guy that told us how things would work and showed us stuff. The installation was great. Our walk-in shower works well. It gives us options. We can stand up in them or sit down and be comfortable in them. It would have been nice if it was a little cheaper. But everything's that way these days.

The sales rep was nice and informative. He compared the materials and the prices with ones that I had already seen before American Standard. Even though American Standard was a bit pricier, I like the quality of the material that they use, and that's what sold me. I also like the fact that they didn't try to put in or force something in the space that I had. They had to custom make the bottom of the shower, while the other people that came were just gonna put in fabricated stuff in my space.

The rep that came out was very pleasant and informative. For the installation, one guy did the job in two days. Everything works just right with the shower. I've been wanting that for a long time. I have mobility problems and it's perfect for me.

We like our showers now since some of problems are corrected, but American standard not so much. Terrible customer service. No compassion. Has nothing but problems from the start with my salesperson to getting my install mistakes fixed. Took over 3 months plus to correct. Wrong shower parts seats put in. They would fix but would leave holes in the walls they just installed. So I said no. Had two showers put in. Second one couldn’t use because no hot water. Had faucets installed upside down. Took 2 months to fix. They would schedule and then cancel a week later. Finally fixed. Never got any kind of apology for their errors.

American Standard Walk-in Baths had the shower and I didn't have to hire the installers separately. Also, they had exactly what the wife wanted and what we were looking for. Rather than some big-time, top-of-the-line showers, they had a mid-tier that is just as good and looks good. So, they were the best middle ground between expensive and too cheap.

The salesperson was professional. He came out, looked at the space we had, measured things and made a better recommendation. We were first looking for walk-in tubs, and they are more expensive than the stand-up shower we ended up with. My mom was the one that was it gonna be the benefit for, and she said she didn't really want a tub so much unless it had shower equipment with it. She was more interested in an easy-to-step-in shower situation instead of the deep tub we had. It was getting hard for her, even with a bar there to help her get in and out.

We got a walk-in shower from American Standard. The quality, so far, seems good. Everything works like it's supposed to. I like the way it looks. It works properly. Part of the reason we got it was to upgrade and have something that looks better and it does that. The sales rep was good and nice. The installers came out and they took a little bit longer than they had originally said they were gonna take, but they were good. They were professional. They addressed any concerns that I had.

I liked American Standard better than the other providers. Everything was fine from beginning to end. I had a shower put in and it was done in one day. It was a replacement for my other walk-in shower. I like it. It's a great product.

Everything went really well with American Standard with one exception. They apparently had sent the guys with the wrong shelves and racks for the thing, and they had to finish up without putting in the racks. They said they would ship them to us, and they did. It took a couple of weeks for the guys to come back. When they did, they got here and they had the wrong racks that they had shipped us. So, it turned into a several-week-long deal where we had to wait. They had to keep coming back until they finally got that right. Beyond that, the whole process, from the initial sale to installation, was nice and smooth. Everything was done well. It just took longer than it should have. The shower is great. We love it. I’ve used it every day.

American Standard's customer service was very good. They gave us the information that we needed to hear. Compared to another place that we checked, they weren't cheaper, but they were better. The installers came and did their thing, were very polite, and it was a good experience. I like the grab bars and the seat and all the stuff for meeting physical needs.

I like the price of American Standard compared to other companies. When the sales rep came out, it was very enlightening. Happy day for me. The installers also didn't run into any problems installing the walk-in shower. They only ran into trouble when they told me I needed a new floor for the bidet. My floor was too weak. I asked the installer if he could do it. He said, "We don't do floors. You'll have to get a contractor." So we did.

It was very pleasant during presentation. They were very upfront. There were no cover-up or lies. They're very trustworthy. They kept my house very clean. That was a big plus. They walked me through everything as well.

American Standard came and replaced my old shower with a new one. They came on time. They took out the old one, put in the new one and they did it all in one day and it's been great. They said it would probably take two days, but they stayed late so they didn't have to come back. The shower they replaced was 46 years old, so it wouldn't take much to improve it but the new one is a little larger. We're getting up in age, and so they've installed all of the bars to hang on to. So, it's a lot safer than our other one. American Standard's salesperson seemed honest and knew what he was talking about instead of like a used car salesman.

The sales rep with American Standard, Al, told me some things that were helpful and something he thought might have been better. He didn't say it was better, but he went over some stuff and led me to believe things were somewhat better. I'd recommend him to anybody. The installation went much better than I thought it would. They called me in the time frame they told me they would. The sales rep gave me a date that the installers would be here, and they were here. He gave me a time frame that the installation would be finished, and they finished ahead of time. They cleaned up very well afterwards. Everything was done immaculate to my idea. They did much better on every aspect than I expected, and I'm very difficult to please. When you get something done, they will promise you something and more or less deliver something else. On the contrary, American Standard did a fabulous job.

American Standard Walk-in Baths did an excellent job. The rep was knowledgeable and friendly. Right then and there, he gave me a good estimate, because I had to send it off to the VA, and it was a done deal. The installers came in. I didn't believe they could do it in one day, but they did. They took the old one out, and put a new shower in the shower ring. They had an accent. I had a hard time understanding them. Other than that, they were efficient and professional. They got rid of all the old walls, the tub and plumbing. They left everything nice and clean, and everything worked fine. It's a simple shower. I don't have to step over a tub to get into it. That's all I wanted. And the floor has a texture to it, so it doesn't make me slip. I can just stand in the shower. I'm not gonna worry about slipping or falling. I'm happy with what they did.

The installers did a very good job installing the shower and cleaning up. They were very professional and the workmanship is excellent. We're very happy with the walk-in shower and I wish we would have obtained it sooner. You spend money on something that you enjoy totally and I will say that we are 100% satisfied with the new shower. I love the massage handle, the big shower, the hand massager, and the seat. I can sit down and shave my legs. It's outstanding. Also, the minute you walk in, there's a handle bar and when I'm sitting in my chair, a handle bar is there, too. Safety-wise, it's for older people. There is no doubt in my mind. I think everybody should have one of these in their homes.

The representative that came out with American Standard was a very sweet person. When he came in, I told him that I was just trying to see what the price was and if the price is right. If the price is reasonable, I'd go ahead and get it installed. So, he walked me through, telling me about how they do the showers and showing me the materials of the shower. The installer was very good, too. He came in, and if he had a problem, he asked me. He asked me where did I want my handrails and all that kind of stuff. He told me what was best for me. The quality of the job is very good. Before, I had a tub. I couldn't get in and out of the tub due to the fact that I had bad knees at the time. So just to walk in in a shower, I enjoy it. I really enjoy my shower. I love my showerhead. The product has made my life a little bit better. I can get in and out of my shower without having to hurt so bad to pick my legs up to get in there.

Dealing with the rep was very good, pleasant and knowledgeable. The process was one day, in and out. It was perfect. The installers were very professional and clean, and they protected everything. They asked me a thousand questions to make sure that everything was getting done right. The walk-in is beautiful. I love it. The showerheads are nice and they’re my favorite. People should at least look into American Standard.

The first American Standard sales rep that came out was new and wasn't very knowledgeable. But the second one who came was great. He was great in all areas. We wanted a new shower put in, and the first guy that came thought we wanted a walk-in tub. But we told him, "No, we want a shower, stand-up shower." So then he had three color options. We went with one of them, but I wasn't that happy with it. I told the guy, "This is not what we want. We want a stand-up shower." And he said, "Oh, you needed the remodel group or something." When the guys came to put it in, I also told them about out all of that, and he said, "If you're not happy with it, you need to say it right now." I said, "Okay. I'm not happy with it." So they sent another gentleman out here with the right group of what we needed. He had lots of colors and selections, and he was very knowledgeable. We were happy.

There was a major screw-up when the shower was installed late-late, but it was fine. The installers from American Standard put it in and left. It was less than a full day, and everything went smoothly. The quality of work that the three guys did was excellent, and they were super nice. One would take his lunch then the other two would work and they'd rotate so they could get the work done in an efficient way. I can't say enough about the gentlemen that were out here.

They explained everything very well. They were very mannerable and considerate. They did the installation within 24 hours. The cleaning up was excellent. I liked their work. Everything operated fine. The quality was very good. I have arthritis and my favorite feature is the hand wand. It was very good. I like that. I enjoy the shower now. Also, the chair is very good. I can sit down comfortably and it also folds back to get out the way when I'm taking a shower. My husband likes it too. He has arthritis in his knee, and he said it was very soothing to his knee.

I'm very satisfied with everything. The representative that came out to explain was very professional and knowledgeable, and because of her input, we decided on American Standard. Plus, the individuals that came out to install the walk-in shower did a fantastic job and cleaned up as expected. They found out a way to make sure that I was satisfied and understood the product, and we're very pleased with the outcome.

The salesperson told me American Standard had a program where I could either pay over time or my payments wouldn't start until 2025. So, after I did some research to make sure it wasn't a hoax, I decided to go ahead and do it. Overall, I'm pleased. The salesperson was great, informative, patient, and detailed. His name was Frank. It's just it wasn't as seamless as it might have seemed, initially. I finally had to ask who I would speak to to suffice the application I needed for the HOA. I was able to sort it out, but that wasn't as streamlined as it had been explained to me.

American Standard had a crew that would come up here. We called some of the other companies and they weren't doing business in Crestline. Also, American Standard has such a strong name. The installation went well. The guys were great. The sales visit was fine. The rep and I had a lot in common. He's a motorcycle rider, and so am I. So, we had a lot to talk about other than the sales. Our walk-in shower is modern. It looks great and it's functional. The handrails are in the right places. Everything is good about it. We're very happy, and I would recommend American Standard to friends or anybody that's interested in doing this.

The reps kept me informed of what was going on the whole way. The installers did a great job. I like the shower. I like the glass and the ability to see through, which makes the room look bigger. They took out a wall to do that. So the grandkids do not see ghosts in the room anymore. The shower made it a lot easier dealing with the grandkids. American Standard is a great company that does a great job.

American Standard was very persuasive that they could come out and give me a price. I wasn't planning on doing it for a year or two. They told me I could have a baseline and they could do it any time, and that there would be no push to have it done. They sent a wonderful salesman, and he gave us information. Because it was for a safety issue that we were changing our bathroom around, we decided to do it quicker than we had planned on. We went with American Standard and never got a competitive bid. I had all the confidence in the salesperson, the quality of product that they showed us where they had a lower range, a medium range, and a higher range, and all of them looked terrific. There was a lot of follow-up as well.

American Standard has fantastic materials and workmanship. They are, by far, the most impressive. The stuff that other manufacturers work with are shipped in from China and takes weeks, if not months. American Standard installed in two weeks a perfect walk-in shower for us. We like the ease of entry. It's a beautiful, high quality product. American Standard is awesome. We couldn't ask for any better than all the things they've done for us. The employees are wonderful. Everything was as we were told it would be.

I looked at my friend's bathroom and liked her walk-in shower a lot. I just called American Standard and I was really satisfied with their presentation so I went with them. The rep was very thorough. We went over the whole thing and he did an excellent job. The installers were very friendly. They came and they went right to work. They did everything. Everything went very well. Now, it's just easier for me because I don't have to climb over the bathtub. I would recommend American Standard. They did a fantastic job.

I would send American Standard to everybody. I would tell them to get it. They have good customer service, they stand behind their product, and I got a good product. American Standard's rep was very thorough. He knew what he was talking about, explained everything completely, and took his time. I liked him. American Standard better keep him. They need to pay him more because he's good.

The rep made a mistake when he measured for the shower. He measured it too narrowly. But the workman that came to put the shower in worked around it and came up with an answer to most of the problem. The bottom of the shower was not wide enough. It was about two inches that didn't have a tile floor. They were going to put in the wider base to cover that two inches. But they got to look at it in the basement and there was a floor joist in the way. We had to go with a narrower shower bottom. One of the guys installing it cut a piece of paneling from the material that goes on the walls. He cut a piece a little bit wider than two inches, put that on the floor and glued that in.

The sales rep of American Standard was great. She was knowledgeable to begin with. She knew the history of the company. She knew what was gonna be done to have it installed and how it was gonna work on payments. She listened to what we really wanted. Instead of buying one of the tiers, we took a little bit of each tier, like a mix-match and she was great about that.

The installers came here, picked up my existing bath, and started putting things together. They did a good job. I had a lot of things going legally these days, so I asked them to come back on a different day, Thursday, to finish up their installation. They did. Everything’s been fine ever since. I have a tiled shower. It goes all the way around and has two shower heads. I also have a bench to sit down. If I want to sit in the shower, I just sit there. It's decent enough for what they did. I've been using it quite a bit and I like that shower better.

When American Standard Walk-in Baths came in, they did it in one day and they made it so beautiful. And they gave me the best price. The installers called me the day before and when they were en route. They told me how many more minutes before they would be here. They were very respectful. They put out their shoes. They asked me to show them to the bathroom where the shower would be, so I did. It was three people. One was the head that would ask me the questions.

The rep who came knew what he was talking about, and he was very easy to talk with. He didn't seem to be selling me a bunch of smoke, so I decided to let American Standard do the job. The installer was very professional, and the quality of work was very good. I got the shower instead of the tub, and my wife has experienced more for safety because she had difficulty crossing into the tub. Now, she steps in, so everything is fine. The seat that was installed goes up and down. It raises up secure, and it holds two. The bars are solid, and the bidet that we’ve got is just fine. I have a little discrepancy wherein one of the security brackets came loose, but it wasn't anything to cry about and we got that taken care of. I called to see if I can get anybody to fix it, and the gentleman is supposed to be coming out to do it.

I was caught in a "perfect storm" of events that created my initial extreme disappointment with American Standard. First, the installer did a great job except for one thing. He forgot to remove the paper towels he used to from smelling the sewer gas as he worked in the crawlspace. He also forgot to do a final drain test before leaving.

The American Standard installers were right on time for the installation, which was nice. They went ahead, tore it all out, and started putting it back together. They did a great job except for two little problems that showed up later. One corner in the seam in the back of the shower is not matching up quite right and it needs one more coat on it to make sure there's no water getting into the wall. But since it's in the back, it doesn't get wet very much so I wasn't too worried about it.

The reps who presented at home were both good. I liked their knowledge of the product. The installation team was awesome. Their tech Dave went out of his way to make things work. They had some problems with my other shower with the delivery and missing parts. He did his best to try to get the parts in. My husband likes our new walk-in shower because it's a lot better than what we had before. I recommend American Standard 'cause they have a quality product and their prices are better than everybody else's.

We originally tried to con American Standard into getting it done before Thanksgiving, and they assured me that was not possible. Then they called us and did it way earlier than they said, which was fine with us. They had to come back though. We had a leak, but they were good about it and prompt. I would get the same guys again. The price was obscene and I was leaning towards not getting it but we love the walk-in shower. We got a little chair and some handles with it. We are satisfied with the product and the quality.

The installation was the most professional job I’ve ever seen by a contractor. I like the ease of getting in and out of the tub. The only negative thing that I have about the whole situation was the shower curtain rod. They could have raised it a little bit. I thought the shower curtain that we bought was standard size, but it's five inches too long.

It's easy to get in and out of the shower. The whole thing is excellent. I'm really pleased with it.

I like the quality of the product and the lifetime warranty of American Standard. The installers were very personable and polite. They also did everything as quickly as possible, but not so quickly that they weren't paying attention to the quality of their installation. This shower has now made accommodations for my 93-year-old mother for me to easily get her to bathe, all the way down to my nine-year-old grandson, which can use the handheld as a stand-under. We have all group ages in here and it's perfect. I also feel like I'm in a sauna when I'm in there. It also makes dog-washing easier. The only thing that really was not good about the experience was they lost my shower. We had to wait four more weeks because they had to completely order it. They also lost my financing information. I got to start that process over, but they were being reasonable about that. The walk-in shower is beautiful. I'm totally happy with it.

The American Standard sales rep was very thorough, prompt, and always came on time. He was real attentive. He was very knowledgeable and a very likable person. The install day changed a little bit because my job was supposed to end, and then it didn't, and I didn't want to have all that noise while I was working. We went ahead with it anyway. Kamel was our installer. He was great. The installation only took a day and a half. It wasn't long at all and it's beautiful. They did what they said they were gonna do. They did it on time and they did it well. We really like it. It turned out just like we thought it would. We have grab bars, a little seat, and we have two corner shelves. The shower is really nice-looking. It has a really cool drain. It's like two thin lines where the water goes down at the front of the base of the shower. The showerhead is fabulous. We love it.

I called a number and ended up being connected with American Standard because of my ZIP code. They're a good company and their products are warrantied for life. They also had the features I wanted and they would do the work in a day, which they did. Their customer service was very pleasant. The installers were also very professional and knew what they were doing. They involved me in the decision areas that I had to be involved in. I love my walk-in. It fits my needs perfectly and it has the seat and two showers. It also has the controller that set. It's perfect. This relieves me from not having to climb into a tub and be able to step into the shower. I take a good shower and I'm very happy. Go ahead and do American Standard.

I was connected me to American Standard in my area and customer service was excellent. We went over everything and I was able to get everything that I wanted. I also tried another company and aside from they couldn't give me what I wanted, they were more expensive too. During my installation with American Standard, everything went above my expectation and I was very happy with the whole process. Everyone was very nice and kind. They made sure that everything was to my specifications.

The salesperson that came out to help me get everything set up knew the whole operation, and I liked him. Installation took four days, and the technician that came to do the work kept me apprised of everything that was going on. He would tell me what the next thing was gonna be or have me come in and look at something, if it was how I wanted it. They treated me as a valued customer. Even though it was very expensive, I got my money's worth. American Standard also offered me a credit line, which helped.

Everybody was friendly, seemed to know what they were doing and just did their business. I had no problems with them. Even the salesman was interesting to sit and talk to. The installers were here about 8:15 and didn't leave till about 4:15. For the cold, windy day that they had to work with, they did a fantastic job. I love the walk-in shower. I like the ease of getting in and out of it and feeling safe with the grab bars. I don't have much balance anymore, as old as I am, and it's handy to have them right there where I can grab whatever hand I need. I'd recommend American Standard. If you can afford it, do it.

American Standard was wonderful and did a great job. The installation took two days. The installers were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. I love the walk-in shower and I couldn't live without it. It's convenient and easy to clean. People should go with American Standard.

The sales rep from American Standard was helpful but not completely informed. He could be more aware of the timeline it takes to install the product and maybe be informed about how things work. The installation team scheduled a day, and then they didn't show up. There was some kind of screw-up. So, that made it start a day late, which put it over Christmas weekend. Instead of three days to install, it took six. However, they made sure I had a toilet on day one. So, that was okay. I got a shower and I love it. It does more than I expected. It regulates the water temperature and pressure a whole lot better than it did before and it's really easy to use. So, I'm very pleased with the shower. They just could have given me better instructions on how to use everything.

An American Standard salesman showed up at the door, and I was like, “Perfect!” We talked for a long time and he knew exactly what I needed, and it wasn't a major thing. I needed something done and I know exactly what I needed. I did some research. He said, “Okay. I see you've already done your research, and this is what we have and it's almost exactly what you were looking for.” There were some things I didn't even know that he told me about. It's just I'm still waiting for a call back from one of the installers because I had a problem. The shower door is not shutting all the way, and water is getting out. It's like after it was done, it’s shot. Within a week, the gap started slowly getting bigger. I know things settle, but I don't want that to become a bigger problem later on. I realized that the guys are shorthanded and they were being pulled 14 different ways all at once. It's not a major problem, but I still would like to have it fixed.

I love my corner shower from American Standard. Everything is perfect. The representative that came out was perfect. She didn't push us and she wasn't overbearing. She gave us the facts and we really liked her. There were two brothers who installed it. The whole thing was done in a day and a half. They were wonderful and polite. They cleaned up everything inside and outside and made sure everything was functional. There was a little language barrier, but not much and they made themselves understood. They were great.

The rep gave me different options that were available. The installer was a little rough. They used a glue to hold the cover over the drain, which is fine. It makes it safer. But I went and gave my dog a shower, and I couldn't take the cap off to be able to clean the drain. Otherwise, it was fine. They were in and out and got things done reasonably fast.

The workmen were professional and did a good job. We’re very satisfied.

The job was completed, but it wasn't completed according to what the salesman sold me. They were supposed to put the faucets by the seat to where I could reach it from the seat, and I can't. It's crossed the length of the shower. The guys called me twice on it, and the last time he called me, he said that he ordered the parts. He said that the parts came in damaged and I haven't heard from him since. So, I'm very displeased about that part. The salesman sold me the fact that I got to sit in the shower and the faucets or the controls would be by my seat. But like it is now, I have to get into the shower, turn on the faucet, and then sit down in my seat. But I'm happy with my shower.

I was on Facebook and I was inquiring about having a walk-in shower installed, and one of American Standard's representatives made contact with me. I spoke with him and spoke with a representative with another company, but after sitting down and talking with American Standard's representative, I felt like American Standard was the best way to go for us. He's been great. He has contacted me since the installation took place to make sure that everything went as he had described to us. American Standard was very proficient in doing what they were here to do. They were very professional. A couple of times, they checked with me to see if that was to my satisfaction in terms of what they were planning to do, as far as the installation was concerned, and I really appreciated that.

I would not recommend American Standard for a walk-in shower. The shower we had paid for had the controls in the middle of the side. The installation team said, they had never installed one like that before. They were unfamiliar. I went out, found the instructions and gave it to them. It was trickier than they had to do before because when you put the controls on the side of the shower, halfway right in the center of the back, you had to put holes through all the studs to get water over to the controls then back again to get to the shower head. It's much more difficult but they were able to get it done.

The installation was done in one day. They cleaned up afterwards. However, I'm having more trouble with the customer service aspect with American Standard. I'm about an hour and a half from where the house is. I went down there the day before to wait for the installers to come. On the day of the install, I got a call saying they were not going to be there because there was something wrong with the doors. It was wasted time. They reset it and did it another time. After the job was done, I noticed something that I thought was wrong. There should be caulking between the bottom of the shower and the floor. When I called American Standard, they agreed and said they'd send somebody out. That date was the 14th. I went down there the night before to make sure I was there. I called twice on the 14th, but nobody ever showed up. I've called twice since then and I'm waiting on a response to tell me what they're doing.

I called American Standard and they provided me with enough information. John came. He was good. The only problem we had with John was he put some things in the contract that didn't come to fruition immediately. They're going to be added on here after the first year. But the installers, Wayne and his partner, were fantastic. They had their stuff together. They helped me through a couple of things too. With the product put in, I feel better about showering. Even the grandkids enjoy it. We set it up high and they use the wand for a shower instead of the big head.

Our experience was phenomenal. I fell at beginning of October and broke my femur and hip. Every PT and OT who has been here has been extremely impressed with the shower. I've demonstrated going in and how wonderful it is. I've never felt so safe. I've even gotten to a point where I can use my squeegee sitting down inside of the glass.

The American Standard sales rep showed us quite a few options before we chose them and the people that came and did the demolition and installed them were excellent also. They called ahead when they were going to be here and then, they had to cancel on the original date because of the supply chain, which was not on them at all. But the second time they called, they came that day and were on time. They were very courteous, professional and good. The quality of work was great as well as the features of the product. We went with the shower and it was much easier for both of us for getting in and out. It was also easy to keep clean. We have the rainfall and the seat was very important for us.

American Standard seemed like they had the fairest price for what I was trying to get done and they were the most responsive as far as being able to get in there quickly and do what needed to get done, even though it didn't turn out that way because we had some other issues. One of the technicians died, and something else happened and pushed us back about a month. But the rep communicated and we made sure everything worked out.

A woman came out and she was very helpful. I always had good dealings with American Standard with the lifetime guarantee. Anytime I called them, they had always sent out products that I needed, to replace the part that was broken or worn out. The job that the three men did was fantastic. It was good. Compared to what I had, the American Standard walk-in shower is fantastic. The hand bars and the chair are my favorite features for my age-old body.

We went online and got the top companies that had the 5-star ratings. Then it came down to two companies and we felt more comfortable with the sales rep in American Standard. Two guys came in to do the installation. They were very nice. They had to take our other shower out and put the new one in. I was pleased with their work. My husband is disabled and this bath has the safety bars and the seat in it for him. He likes it. He can take a shower again. The safety bars allows him to pull himself up so that I can wash him easier.

American Standard's in-home sales rep is very intelligent and very good at his job. The installers were also very good. They even did some extra stuff for me. I have a walk-in shower in my master suite. This new one was put in the house’s bathroom. I don't really use it. I have a grandson that lives with me and it is very helpful because he can just go in and turn the water on and he can take a shower.

My experience with American Standard went really well. It helped that I'm a Christian and my sales rep and the installer were Christians. They kept things the higher standards like any job. It took a little more work because they were trying to tear out stuff because our house is technically a trailer with an addition even though it doesn't look like it anymore. The bathroom is like 4.5 feet wide. So, that made it fun for them to get in there and do stuff. There are maybe a couple of spots where caulk got somewhere where I didn't want it, but that's not a big deal.

It was very good with the sales rep. The only thing that we would have liked to have was a picture of what the tub was going to look like. The rep really didn't have any pictures. Also, the installers were cordial. They got right to work and finished the product. We got a little confused at the tail end. There was a lever on the big showerhead that makes it a forceful shower or a more gentle one but we didn't realize that at the beginning. We called the installer back and he showed that to us. Everything is working very well and we're very pleased with the product.

We got the walk-in shower. We enjoy it. The installation team was awesome.

The sales rep I had was very informative and encouraging. He told me all about American Standard and its history as well as about the shower. I was very impressed and I decided to go along with it. I was able to get the credit to finance it. I was very happy to have it. The installers were very nice, professional and friendly people. They showed me how to use my shower and they made sure that I was very well informed. They let me turn on and work the shower before they left to make sure that I would know how to operate it. I get the AARP newspaper every month and they offer a walk-in shower. But the American Standard shower is much better and more luxurious. With that sidebar in there, it's more than what's in AARP.

When American Standard's salesman came out, he did a good presentation with it and it was interesting and it seemed like something that might work. The main thing that I like about the walk-in shower is the seat, but that's it because it's very tight. I didn't realize that it would be the size of a standard bathtub. We had a garden tub, which is larger than a standard bathtub, and I thought it would be at least the size of that or something larger. But I could barely turn around in this. The representative measured and he measured a couple of times. But we never said anything about the size. And they have photographs and they look larger than actual. But when they came in and did the work, and I saw what I had, I have never seen a walk-in shower that small.

American Standard has better quality and cheaper price. They were 3,000 and 4,000 cheaper than the rest. They could do the work in a reasonable amount of time too. Some of the local guys we were waiting three months for and that wasn't acceptable. I take care of my mom and I get a break every nine months for three months, so I needed somebody that could do the work in a good timeframe.

American Standard listened to what we said and it made a difference to them how they proceeded. We felt like we were going to end up with what we wanted. The installers showed up when they said they would and kept us pretty up-to-date on what was going on throughout the day. They said if they ran into any problems, they would let us know, and they didn't. We had several questions about halfway through the afternoon so they put things on pause and addressed our questions. I'm glad we made the switch. We don't have to be concerned with climbing in and out of the tub and slipping and falling. There are plenty of safety bars to hang on to. It's one of the better things we've ever had done in the house.

I learned about American Standard back when I was a little kid. My father was a house builder and that was the only thing he used in his houses. When I built my house in ‘76, I put all American Standard in it and when I got ready to do a shower, I wanted American Standard. The sales rep was very nice, pleasant and quiet, and did an excellent job. The contractor took about two days for the process and he was out of here. I get in the walk-in, turn on the shower and take one. There’s a water hydrant with the spray at the top and the other little spray. And there's a place to put my soap as well as handlebars. So, I use those and I get out. Taking a bath is just something that I do but now, I don't have to climb out of the tub.

I have the American Standard shower and we've had a lot of trouble with it. But their reps finally got it solved. The bottom of the shower is so slick though and you can't even stand up. We've got a man who is supposed to be getting us something to put down there.

Everything went good. I got the shower and everything’s been fine. I don't have to step over the tub to get in to take a shower.

The sales representative was good. He sold us, and he was very thorough, polite and nice. We got the lowest-priced walk-in shower, and installation day was great. The crew that came out was awesome. We even left for a doctor’s appointment and came back, and they had finished and kept the house clean. Our walk-in shower has a seat in it that we can pull down and use, a big showerhead, and a handheld shower. It’s also got two shelves in there. It’s white and it’s pretty.

The sales rep was the third one I had and he covered things well. He was very good and didn't overdo it. The reps who did the installation for the American Standard walk-in shower were efficient and very neat. They were done in a day. I couldn’t have asked for more. The door, which is my favorite feature, looks lovely and glides smoothly. Also, there's no leakage. I have two grab rails and two little shelves on the shower. I wanted it simple as possible so it's easy to clean. I did not want a seat because that would be extra to clean. The only concern that I have is that the floor inside the shower is slippery. I assumed that it was gonna be a rougher floor, so I had to buy a mat.

The installation was great. The installers finished in the time they said they would and did good. We love the American Standard shower. It’s something that I'm not afraid to get in because I got the grab bar. I've got three little problems now but I've got a gentleman coming Monday to check it out.

My husband wanted American Standard, but I thought it was too expensive and they couldn’t give me the glass door. I had to go someplace else to get the glass door. The measurements that they told me were there were not the measurements that were there according to the glass installation. So, there were two different sizes there, and it made a lot of problems for me. Other than that, the installation went well.

We had an American Standard shower system installed. The installation was flawless. The techs knew what they were doing. They did whatever they had to do. If they thought I needed some extra, they asked me about it and took care of it. Everything is first class - the rails, the sides, the faucets and the shower. I wouldn't have any other things.

We were looking into remodeling our small bath into a shower and my mother happened to mention American Standard. We got in contact with them and when we talked to them, we felt very at ease with everything that was told to us. We liked what we saw, signed the contract, and loved the guy that installed the shower. He did a real good job and did the work in two days. We've been very pleased and happy with our shower. The quality is excellent. I love the rain showerhead and I enjoy that every time we take a shower. I like that we can clean down the shower whenever we get a chance. Overall, everything done has been excellent.

The salespeople were very nice and informative. The installers were very caring and it took them three days to do the job. Overall, my experience was very satisfactory. The shower looks nice and I like the convenience of being able to sit down or stand up.

I needed to replace my tub and wanted to do it the right way so that instead of stepping into a tub, I just walk into it. I now have American Standard's shower and I love it. My sles rep was very nice and courteous. He walked me through all the steps that the process would take. He told me all that was going on, what it would entail, and that it could probably be done in a day. I have an old house with a small bathroom with a cast iron tub. He was telling me that that one had to be cut out. He said that a person will come out and will be able to tell me exactly what he’s going to do and what it will entail. The sales rep also helped me and he showed me the different samples of the tiles.

American Standard's rep explained how it would be done. He was nice. The walk-in shower was scheduled to be installed on the 22nd of June. But they didn't make it because one of the guys had an accident and he was over at the hospital. He called and explained to me what was going on. And he said he would call me back and let me know if they would be able to make it on that day. I figured they wouldn’t because I know how the hospitals are. So, he called me back later on that day and said he wouldn't make it and asked me if it would be all right for them to come the next day. I told him it would be fine. I understand accidents happen. He told me he would be here the next day by 8 o’clock. And when I looked up, he was out at 15 minutes to 8:00. He did the biggest of it that Thursday. He came back that Friday morning and finished everything. My mom and I are enjoying the tub.

I'm 78 years old, and I need a bar at the beginning of the shower to get in. But American Standard got the bar way across. It's in my way. I have to reach across to get it, scared I'm gonna fall. I don't stand up to try to do the shower. I would like to walk in, sit down so I could sit down. Also, I cannot reach the soap if it's up there. The shelf is too high. When I'm sitting down the shower, I don't have anywhere to put the soap but on the floor.

We had three people come and offer their products to us. The first fellow was very impressive. The second person was not up on what the product was. The third was a woman from American Standard and she could not have been a better representative for the product. She knew the product inside out and was a wonderful salesperson. The price was also significantly lower than the other two that we had. We were supposed to have a fourth person but we stopped right then and said, "This will be our choice." We are thoroughly enthusiastic about our new shower. We had some apparent leakage into the basement at the beginning. But I have not noticed any since then. We are very happy with our choice and with the product.

The sales rep was professional. He brought pieces to compare with our current tile in our bathroom. He was very helpful in getting things set up and getting us to understand what we would be getting. The installers laid down protective stuff for the flooring all the way to the bathroom. They were pretty nice. The only concern I had was that one of them smelled like cigarettes on the first day and we had to air out the house afterwards. Beyond that, the work was good. We had a small issue but they came the next business day and fixed it for us. I like the seamless walls most and the fact that I don't have to worry about grout.

The sales rep was great and the installers were awesome. I love the shower. Day-to-day life is easier because I don’t have to step over in the tub.

We love the shower from American Standard. The guy who came was really great. We liked him very much. There were two things that happened, though, that we had just a little bit of back and forth with the guy about. One was that the shower was dirty. There were marks on it all around. I called and spoke to somebody at American Standard about this shortly after it happened. I asked whether we would have to have this guy come back. He lives three hours from here, and I hated to make him do that. I suggested that maybe I could hire somebody here to wash the shower and he would pay the guy. That was what we did, we paid 25 bucks to a neighbor to clean the shower. The guy who installed it sent a check for 25 bucks.

The installation went great. We've used the walk-in a few times since we've had it. It's a wonderful product that is put together well. We feel very safe in it. The grab bars have been my favorite by far. I like the showerhead too and the built-in seat. This was expensive but it was money well spent. It's a lot easier to get in and out of than a regular tub. You can get them set up any way you want. We were thinking more of safety 'cause we're in our 60s and not good with balance. The safety bars were good and the American Standard has been a great investment for us.

We went from a tub to a walk-in shower and the work was fine. However, they did some damage to my tile work, so I don't know what to do about that. I've been meaning to call the American Standard representative that sold this project to me. But when we had some glitches, they were all taken care of immediately. Also, this new walk-in shower is exactly what we wanted. It works for us. We're definitely happy with it. I would recommend it to people who are senior citizens for safety. I hated getting in and getting out of the tub. I had to be really careful in slipping and falling. Now, I'm much more comfortable.

The American Standard rep was a good salesman. However, we had four cancellations in the installation. But finally, when they came, they did a really good job. My wife really loves the shower. We like that there's a seat that she sits in.

When my daughter decided on the company, she reached out to American Standard and a representative came, looked at the bathroom and gave us a quote. On the first day, two guys came here. It was late because they had to drive from somewhere to get here. They checked out everything and they were gonna go to Lowe's, and pick up everything else that they needed. Then they would be back at like 8 o'clock the next morning. Their work was of good quality. I'm very satisfied with the product.

The young lady from American Standard was prompt. She walked out with a bunch of paperwork done. We got the shower put in a lot quicker than we thought, which was good because mother needed it. She was ready to jump in that thing but couldn’t get into it for two days. Had to let all the caulking all sealed. But it was good. I’m amazed at how well it all went together and how it’s held up. Momma enjoys it. She gets in there and just has a ball. They did good work and did everything I asked.

Mike, the American Standard rep I worked with, did well. He really knew what he was talking about. He steered us away from a couple of things that we thought we wanted, he explained why we might not want them and that made sense. We had a shower installed that you don't have to step over the side of the tub and it's nice. There's a lot more room in it. I love the great, big showerhead that he suggested.

I'm old and I was fearful of getting in and out of a tub. I decided I want a shower instead. I called Kohler but Kohler quoted me 60% higher than what the American Standard folks did. It seems to be giving me what I wanted and at a lower price. But my only regret is that I didn't explore further, because I still think I overpaid even with American Standard. It’s a lot of money I spent. But the installation crew was really helpful, supportive and responsive to the issues that came up. They were good.

They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was right for us. I love the quality and the deal I got. I love that my wife can sit there on the seat once I turn the water on for her. She doesn't have to move and everything's within her chest. She has safety rails that go all the way around. But I'm gonna have to call them to come out and adjust the shower doors as the water gets on the floor at the corner, the front and back corners.

The sales rep was excellent, communicative, informative, and down to earth. The installation was fairly quick. The guy finished in a day and a half. It was his time, so I didn't push him. But he came back and cleaned up. And everything was the way it was supposed to be when he was done. We like the shower. We picked a barn door design. Everything seems to run and function the way it's supposed to. But the water pressure could be a little more coming out. It's soft, but it still does the job. I would use American Standard again.

The salesman was fantastic. The shower does what it is supposed to do. It's comfortable. The quality is really good.

I love the American Standard walk-in. The installer did it in two days. He worked effectively and knew what he was doing. He was friendly, professional and did a good job. But it's a pain to keep those shower doors clean. They're glass and they don't come with a squeegee. You would think that for spending nearly $12,000, they'd include a squeegee. We were also supposed to get a high toilet with this deal. But nothing ever came of it. There was no toilet that came with it.

They did the installation in one day and the guys were good. I like my walk-in shower.

American Standard did a good job and I like the quality of the shower. I am proud of what they did. I would recommend them. I would have it done again.

I am totally satisfied with my American Standard shower. The installation went very well. The guys were very courteous and cleaned up great. I'm very happy.

The salesman was really personable and pretty knowledgeable about the product. But his walkthrough fell a little short because there were some things that the installer found that he should have called them and let them know about ahead of time. Other than that, I have no issue. The installer was great. They did the installation in a timely manner. I've called him with some questions, and he's been always prompt to answer my questions.

The reps looked like they knew what they were doing. They came in and they started working on the bath and put it together pretty quickly. American Standard did good, but it's expensive. The openness of the shower enclosure is a favorite.

We took the tub out and put a shower in. I called American Standard after the tub was put in. I called twice, left messages, but they haven't called me back. I had another job for the installer possibly at my brother's house, but forget it now. They never called me back. My brother will get somebody else. But the crew was very good. And the shower looks good.

The American Standard salesman’s job was to sell me a shower and he did. It was a little on the expensive side and I hope I wasn’t screwed but I got what I asked for. I probably should have gotten a second bid but I was afraid to take a shower that I was taking a shower, skipping a shower and having my husband stay in there. So, it was extremely inconvenient. The installer was very nice. He told me what he was gonna do. I told him I had lung issues and he made sure the door was shut. He had the window open and did his best to keep the dust down, and I appreciated that. His helper was extremely professional. They covered my carpet as they walked in and out.

American Standard did a great job. I sure appreciate them. I like the glass shower doors they installed a lot. They're nice, smooth and easy to clean. I ended up adding the toilet, faucet and sink.

Everything was good, except for the shower rod. It was supposed to be here with the install back on December 13th. They didn't pack it when they came out to install. American Standard said it would be out between Christmas and New Year's to drop it off, but no one has been out. The shower is great. The only thing we have problems with is the drain. But that's because of just the hair gets clogged in there quickly, which is what it's supposed to do.

American Standard’s a good product. When the salesman came in, he was very polite and explained everything very well. I just decided to go ahead and order with them. They said the installation would take six weeks from the day I placed the order. It was a little early. The crew was excellent. They did it in one day like they said, and the place was as clean as when they started and when they left. I got a shower, and I like it. I just wish it was like a couple inches higher step up so that you could keep your shower curtain a little easier. But otherwise, it's great.

It was a great decision to go with American Standard ‘cause the workers that came and installed were very professional. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends because of the workers that installed it. However, the salesman lied to me and it took longer than it was supposed to. They had to order a part and I had to wait for that but it was okay. I love my shower. You can adjust to where it's comfortable. The shower curtain was a little obsolete though. Also, I had a problem with the shower hose. The silver thing had come down and bust a hole in the rubber hose so that’s out right now. I called them about the problem and they said they're gonna send a hose out. American Standard has a lifetime warranty on the parts.

We did three quotes and American Standard was the winner. The installation took a couple of days and we had to have somebody come out because one of the shells had fallen off the wall. His name was Robert and he fixed all of them and now they're perfect. I love the double showerhead.

American Standard's price was much more competitive and I like the fact that they did all the work and the guarantee along with it. The sales rep was very open. Salespeople can sometimes be too aggressive, but he was not. The installers did a very nice job too. They installed the shower beautifully. They've got all the stuff they had to bring in. I had had some work done in the area and they were very careful not to mar any walls or knock anything, even though they had a tight space to get in and out. It wasn't easy for them. But they left no marks or damages. They were on time and did what they said. They completed the installation when they said they would.

The salesperson was wonderful. He came here twice when it was 150 miles away from us. He didn't try to be pushy on what we wanted or didn't want. However, it took four or five months which was a long time to get an appointment for the installation itself. They said they couldn't manufacture the parts for it. They kept making appointments and canceling them. We're elderly, so we definitely needed a shower. We had showers, but they were inside a bathtub.

I liked the quality of the material that the salesperson showed me. The installer was first class as well and he did a great job. We took the tub out and put in a walk-in shower, which we like. With the look of it and the way it functions, everything seems to be doing well. It's easier to access for us. I would encourage people to have American Standard come out first and look at the material and get the estimate before deciding on something else.

I'm enjoying it my walk-in from American Standard. They seemed to have the best deal for our shower and a lifetime guarantee, so I bought from them. The installers were great and the product is exactly what we were looking for, a walk-in shower. It replaced our built-in tub that we had that was a one piece tub and shower combination. They removed it without any problems, put up my new shower, and it works great.

American Standard sounded the most competent. I liked the impression that I got just from the phone conversation. Plus, I'm familiar with the name and their products. I couldn't ask for anybody to be better at what they do and more professional, beginning with the phone call, then when I met the salesperson to the ones who did the work. I got a walk-in shower for my parents, and it was in their home. It is such a good product and design. My parents have noticed a major difference in their lifestyle.

The customer service was very good. It took a couple of weeks to get everything organized but the installation took just one day. However, I wasn't all that happy with the type of faucet that was installed. It was a little bit difficult to understand how to use. But now that we know it, everything is fine.

My son did the research and he was pleased with what he read about American Standard. Their sales rep presented everything pretty well and we were able to understand the product. He had some things that he showed us on the screen, so that worked out well. The installers also did a good job. They came when they said they would and they were very neat. They cleaned up and were careful in carrying things in and out. So far, the product is very good. I like its easy access and the big seat. It's more convenient than what was in there before. My husband's handicapped, so we had a hard time with our other shower in getting him in and out. There was nowhere to hold on to and it did not have a good seat.

I've dealt with American Standard products for the last 45 years and I like the walk-in shower that I bought from them. The rep who came in to sign me up didn't emphasize the difference in price between what I got and what an acrylic would have cost. That bummed me out a little bit. But the installer, Junior, went out of his way a couple of times and we had no problem. I wish I had another grab bar put in, but that's really minor and I'm getting around that very well.

I was going through converting my whole walk-in tub to a shower because I'm handicapped and I went through about five different shower builders to get a quote and see what each one was offering. Out of all the ones I looked at, I liked American Standard's shower and showerheads. The installers did an excellent job and cleaned the dirt and dust during the installment. They finished the job in one day. The only complaint that I have is the shower curtain is too long and about three inches too big. It's not high enough off the floor. They needed to come back out and do an adjustment on the rod.

Most providers said they had a lengthy time when they can do the job. American Standard's rep Tom won me over. The price is a little high but I'm enjoying my tub. The job they did is wonderful. I like the iron cast showerhead and seat. It has a rail too on my wall.

I researched online and a couple of factors led me to purchase from American Standard. One factor was their name and another factor was the comments by other people. Their sales representative was good and the installers were outstanding. I'm in love with my walk-in shower and the folding seat that’s mounted to the wall is a big seller.

The installation went very, very well. I like the installation crew. They were very good, quick and knowledgeable with what they were doing. It was a very good experience with those two guys. The shower fits in right where my old bathtub used to be and it's great. The quality is excellent.

I was thinking about getting a walk-in bathtub, but then I changed my mind and got a walk-in shower because of the price. The shower was a few thousand cheaper and I like it.

I called them up, and the guy came to the house. He was very nice and he gave me a detailed price. So I took it. The installation was fantastic. The guys came to put the carpet down. They stripped everything down right to the bathroom through the front door and carried it out. They even have their own dumpster at the guy's house, so they took all the garbage away. When they got it all done, we didn't have to even vacuum. There was nothing on the floor at all. They did a wonderful job. I highly recommend them to anybody. I like the handrails and not having to clean the tub up all the time. You don't have to clean anything after you take a shower because it just all dries up beautifully with no spots. American Standard is the greatest.

The installers did a good job and they were fast. In hindsight, I would not do some of the things, like the seat. It is not safe and it's small. So, when I sit down, it bounces. My husband weighs 300 pounds so he would never sit on that seat 'cause it's only situated for 250. There should be a handrail so that I could steady myself when I stand up. Also, with the flooring, the edge of the base is only about an inch tall so it's way too easy for water to go over the edge. If there was a problem with the drainage, like how it's a little slow in the wintertime, water would easily go over the edge. That edge should be at least three inches.

American Standard is very easy to work with. The installer was very diligent. I like that the shower is easy to use.

My brother recommended American Standard to me and I would recommend them to anybody, too. The installation crew was excellent. They were very knowledgeable of their job. I got it for my elderly mother who had fallen and broken her knee. I had a walk-in shower put in by them and she loves it because she's gotten back her independence to be able to go take a shower on her own.

The installation was good though they had to come back. I like the handles that are on the wall of the shower. The quality is good.

My wife is blind and I thought it would be easier for her to get in and out of the walk-in shower. But she doesn't like how the controls on it work. It was different from the pictures that the salesman showed me. Then some of the finish work during the install, considering the amount of money I paid for this thing which was over $12,000, was disappointing. The technicians ran molding around the edges of the shower and they did not miter any of the corners. They just butted them.

Installation was a very enjoyable experience. It took two days instead of one, but we ran into some extraordinary circumstances, which caused the delay. I was very happy with the installer. He did a great job and I like everything about the walk-in shower. Choose American Standard. They're great.

I went to get different quotes and prices and American Standard was well in the ballpark. And the name American Standard says it all. The rep was good. There were some questions that I had that he said he would give me answers, but I never got them. Even when they installed the walk-in shower, they said they would give me a price on installing valves into the other two bathtubs in the house. And they have yet to ever get back with me on a price. So, that's gonna be nothing. I'm disappointed about that because I was promised a price but nobody got back with me. There were three people for the installation and they did a good job. There was one part that didn't look right. And he was quick to come up with a solution and fix it, so that was good. He did a good job. I've got one spot on there that just still isn't quite right, but I will just have to fill it in with some caulk.

Everything was explained to us. The rep showed us everything that would be put in. The installers cleaned up after themselves. They were very good. It came out better than the pictures. The glass doors and the magnetic handheld shower are my favorites. You won't be disappointed.

We really love our American Standard walk-in bath. My wife is semi-invalid. So, before, it was stepping over the top side and trying to get her to take a shower. Now, it's not a problem at all. We love the seat. We had Interim Healthcare and they suggested that we look into getting a walk-in. I got online and started looking through walk-in showers, and I called several people. Our existing tub was a Bath Fitter, and they came out and they didn't seem to be too enthusiastic about doing the job. It's a small bathroom. We have a small house. I got a couple other people. They came in, they looked and they did their sales pitch.

American Standard's estimate was one of the lower prices. I also got an experienced salesperson. He was very chatty and knowledgeable. He managed to bring into the conversation Rockport, which is where I live. I relaxed in a sense because I didn't feel that he was an adversary. I got the shower package with sliding glass doors and it's excellent. The installer was an interesting guy. He was very determined to make everything right from the beginning and he worked very hard. He was trained and knew what he was doing. He wanted to make the customer was happy. I'm very happy with the installation and I'm enjoying the shower a great deal. I had a very good experience and I would invite friends to come and visit my bathroom.

I had my tub removed and had a shower put in. The installation went very smoothly and there were two gentlemen here. One gentleman was an experienced installer. So far, everything is working well and the shower seems to be very nice.

The price of American Standard, as well as the service, was very good. The installation took a bit longer because my house is old. The techs had to pick out some pipes and redo a little bit more. But there was no problem and things worked out great. My shower was well-done and I'm very satisfied with it. It's just what I wanted. It's all flat and it's nice to hold on to all the bars. I'm enjoying it because I have everything there. From the toilet, I just swing the curtain back and get in. It's very easy. Plus, they made the door a bit wider so I'm able to go in with my walker. I show my shower to everybody that comes to visit me. My family is enjoying it too. My grandchildren like to get in it and play.

American Standard comes with a reputation that is difficult to match, like all the features of the shower. Also, their price was well within the range that I was willing to accept. They weren't the cheapest but we preferred what they had to offer. We went with a very smooth, simple, white shower stall which brightens the bathroom. The installation couldn't have been better. The tech did a remarkably thorough job. He was fast, efficient and he cleaned up as he went. He kept me informed when decisions were needed. I like the hand wand. Also, the open and close barn door is wonderful.

The sales rep was very informative. He knew what he was talking about and during our discussion, he knew what we wanted to end up with. The installers called and told me what day that they were gonna be there. They thought the installation was going to take one day. But once the workers came in and took a look, they said it was going to take one day to rip out and then another day to install. So they laid plastic down and they went right to work. I took time off to be there just in case there were issues. But they worked by themselves. There was a couple of questions that came up. We talked about it, came up with a solution, and away we went. We got the shower and my wife likes the showerhead. She also likes the fact that it's cleaner and it didn't have a hole in the wall anymore.

I've been thinking about a walk-in shower for a very long time and couldn't find anybody here in the local area so I went online to see who did that. American Standard was the first to call me back, and immediately had a representative here in my home, getting measurements and giving me estimates. I was impressed with that because I couldn't get anybody to come out. If it was expensive, it was probably too much money to put into a mobile home. Then I didn't want to put in tiles because those were heavy and I didn't want too much heaviness and so the options that she showed me were great.

The installers are good. The quality of the shower is high-standard. I like it.

The salesman was really explicit and I couldn't ask for anything better. He really sold the job. The shower I got is perfect. Everybody that looks at it loves it.

They led me on and made it sound like I'm getting all these big deals. It was $20,000 by the time I had the hot tub and everything which was just too outrageous. I wouldn't even call them if I knew the price was gonna be that high. That's why we went for the shower. Other than that, they did a good job. Everything is what we got.

We bought other American Standard products before and recently, we decided to get a walk-in shower from them. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. He was very friendly and he helped us all the way through. Then, the installation took two days. They got a lot of it done the first day and everybody was very professional and courteous. They didn't mess up anything and if they made a mess, they cleaned it up right away. When they left in the evening, they left my bathroom really clean. So, I was really glad of that.

American Standard is very good to do business with. Their sales rep explained everything and he had the tiles with him when he came out, so we could see what they look like. He had a variety of colors and we got the solid sheet ones. During the installation, the guys tore stuff out and they cleaned as they went. It was done quickly and nicely. Our walk-in bath has a little small stall shower with the nice showerhead and they framed it out well. The water seems to come out of the showerhead has a good flow and it’s not like it beats you to death, but not where you can’t feel it.

The installation of the walk-in went okay but we weren’t pleased with where the installers put the shower curtain rod. They put it at the front of the shower and it works but sometimes, we have to be careful about the water going in the floor or in the bathroom. Still, the walk-in has been good so far.

The American Standard is a good name. I got a walk-in shower and I like it. I don't have to worry about tripping getting out of it, which is one of the reasons that I wanted the shower. I’m two years away from retirement, and I don't want to move. So I thought, “Yeah, let's not trip getting out of the tub.” Both the sales team and installation crew were fabulous. The guy came out to the house, and within the three-day deadline, I decided that I needed more than two shelves. He managed to come back and take care of that. I know he doesn't live locally, so it was a bit of a haul for him. Everything is going wonderfully.

We have a walk-in shower from American Standard. I had called different places and American Standard was the only one that answered my call. I did get calls from a couple of companies, but they did not come to where we lived in Robbinsville. The salesman was wonderful. He knew his product. I can't stand up so I had to have it. The walk-in has met my needs very well.

I just had my American Standard product installed back in April, and I didn't use it for a couple of weeks. But it's beautiful. It's perfectly done. I have an issue which I did not know for about three weeks because I was waiting. I couldn't find a shower curtain that would be 83 inches long. I finally found one and it was installed, and when I used the shower, it floods the bathroom. So, I had called and talked to somebody in Dallas that that was happening. They said, "We'll get somebody to contact you. And they'll come fix it." I had never been contacted at all. I'm still not using the shower.

I can sit down in my walk-in shower. The sales and installation people were very knowledgeable. I had a good interaction with them.

American Standard's rep convinced me to buy the product. Then, the installation went very good. It took two days. I like the cleanliness. The shower’s fine, and I like the valves. I enjoy it.

American Standard had a special deal going. They give pretty much the same price as everybody else but they threw in a special toilet. Their sales representative explained everything very clearly. The installers showed up one time and they went right to work. They were good about cleaning up after themselves and they took out the old tub. I was very impressed with the installation. There’s a couple of grab bars on it and I've had the seat put in. It's much easier for me now. I like the convenience and the safety, more of the safety as much as anything 'cause I've got balance problems at this point in my life.

I had my shower ripped out and replaced by something that looks like it came out of a Hyatt Regency. I would recommend it to anybody that wants a super fine shower.

The team that installed the walk-in shower was real nice. They did the job.

My sister has cerebral palsy and we were hoping that we could put a tub in for her but it just didn't fit. Her bathroom was too small and there were too many modifications to be done with mine to make it work, so we went with the shower instead. The installation went very well. The crew was very professional, courteous, and kept me informed. I like the most that the handles go all the way around. I'm not getting any younger so it's nice to have those handrails. So far, I've been very impressed.

We have a walk-in shower from American Standard. Their sales rep and the installation crew were fine. We originally got the product because my husband had ALS. It needed to be wheelchair accessible, but he passed away. So, that’s no longer an issue. But I do use it.

American Standard's rep was a good guy and their installer was very nice. The installer tore out my bathtub and put a new handicap shower in. My wife couldn't get in the tub 'cause she's handicapped and now, she can use the shower. American Standard did a beautiful job. We appreciate it.

I've had two hip replacements and my real problem is trying to stand on one leg and wash the other. I wanted to sit down in the shower. I couldn't afford the walk-in tub from American Standard. Instead, I had them do the shower and that worked out good for me. The crew came and installed it all in one day. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Everything was done really nicely to my satisfaction. I like having the two showerheads. I also like the chair because I really need that.

American Standard is a well-known name. I wind up getting the walk-in shower from them. Everybody was very nice, polite and very respectful of the home. But I was supposed to get a bent shower rod. Instead, it's straight. Other than that, the walk-in shower is worth it. I feel more secure when I get in there to take a shower.

My granddaughters were staying with me so I got a bigger tub when we had the house built. Then later on, I was having trouble with my legs and I couldn’t get into the tub and into the shower. I saw American Standard on Facebook. I was just looking to see what it would cost and before I knew it, somebody was already out. I liked them and I knew they were a good reputation. There were two installers and they shut the bathroom door while they were working. There was hardly any noise or anything. I like that I can get into this walk-in. They put lots of bars in there for me and a seat that I could pull out and sit down. I’m in a wheelchair, so I don’t get around as much, and so it really helped that they did such a nice job.

We feel safer since we've had the new shower from American Standard. The crew that installed it was excellent. I like that you can switch the shower from pulsating to spray. Overall, it has been a very good experience.

The current system we had needed an upgrade which would have to cut into the wall. So it was time to change or do something. We went on the internet and decided to get an American Standard walk-in shower. The installation took two days but the guy who did it was competent, careful, and seemed to do a good job.

We were looking at walk-in tubs because I have arthritis real bad and it's hard for me to stand for long periods of time. When American Standard came out, we were looking at prices, "That's a little above our range." The salesperson pointed out that they have a larger shower unit that has a seat in it. It's the best seat in the nation at the moment. We looked at that and looked at the prices, and we said, "Why not?" Because if I'm having issues with my knees, I can still sit, but for the most part, it's a good-sized shower. In the end, it's a little cheaper than some of the other options we were looking at. The installers came in. They took out the old shower and they had the new shower installed. They built a wall for the shower because showers got three walls on it. They had it all done in a day. They had their mess cleaned up and didn't leave anything behind. They did a top-quality job. We're both happy with what we got.

We were looking for somebody to redo our bathroom and American Standard, including the sales rep, was great. The installation team was here two different times and they were good too. We were gonna get a walk-in tub and when they came the first time, they brought tub. However, they have this thing where you sit in it out in the driveway and make sure it's gonna work, and my husband couldn't operate it. He's very tall, and he's heavy, and there wasn't enough room in the tub for him to even work the controls.

I heard that American Standard was good. Our next-door neighbor had them do some bathroom work and I tried them. There were little things that the installers had to come back for and it took awhile for them to come back. We had to call out how many times, but they made it good when they came back. We got a walk-in shower and in a couple of days, they were done. I used the shower and I liked it. They had to change our overhead sprayer because I didn't like that rain shower. I told them to put my own showerhead in so everything's fine. My husband and I only got to use it once and then, we ended up in a nursing home.
