I just purchased a brand new Hisense Android tv and right out of the box the tv could not locate my internet. I spent 2 hrs troubleshooting the issues only to find out this is a common problem for this tv. When I called Hisense they were extremely rude, they refused to replace the tv and I was not permitted to speak to a supervisor. I believe they are very aware of the issues surrounding their equipment and are robbing people blind.

People are right, the picture quality on these Hisense TVs is terrific. But that's all I can do to recommend the TV. We've had it for about 18 months now, and there's an occasional glitch that causes the TV to completely freeze up. Power buttons on remote and on TV itself don't work, the only way to get it functional again is to unplug it, then plug it back in. This occurred infrequently for the first year or so, but since then it's been happening on a regular basis, sometimes several times per night. We will NOT be purchasing any other Hisense models in the future.

This TV worked well for a little over a year. Then it won't turn on anymore and just flashes a red light, which is a fault code. I expect a TV to last a few years, so this is just terrible. No help from Hisense to decode this error code since it's out of warranty, and fixing it would cost more than a new TV anyways.

I purchased a 65inch HiSense Roku TV on January 18, 2019 and here it is only 8 months later I’m having to have a tech come out???? I explained the problem which was that I could not Pierre on the TV using the remote OR manually to Customer Support And was told that the a Tech would be coming out to fix the problem. How could you fix a problem when you don’t know if that is the actual problem. And not only that, when I purchased the TV and got it home, I hooked it up and had to pay what was told to me a 1 time activation fee of $100. Did anyone else have to pay a fee of $100 to activate the HiSense Roku TV or was it just me? Long Story Short... NEVER AGAIN????

Before purchasing a new TV for my bedroom recently, a friend of mine (who was a career executive at JVC and then at Sharp) advised me to stay away from the "off-brands". But I threw caution to the wind and bought a Hisense 43H6D, 4K UHD Smart TV for $328 - and I'm very glad I did. I've had it for about 2 1/2 years now and I'm still amazed at the beautiful picture and impressive feature set. It outperforms my other three smart TVs (a Toshiba, a Samsung and my main living room set, a Panasonic). The only drawback to the Hisense was that I couldn't get MLB.TV on it (due to licensing restrictions, apparently). No problem... I hung an Amazon Firestick on it and now enjoy baseball in the bedroom - in addition to other sports. At bottom: if you have any qualms about buying a Hisense, my advice would be to go for it.

I have had my 65" UHD android TV for 4 months. Everything was great until they put an update out to sync with Dolby Vision and now all shows on Netflix are so dark you can barely watch them. They offered no help on the matter and can't even undo the update. Total trash and would never recommend buying one of you plan on watching Netflix.

I bought a Hisense 55" Smart tv at Walmart in June 2018. Exactly 7 days after I had the tv for a year while watching it the screen went black; as if the tv was off. No sound/no image. Hisense honored the warranty & sent me a brand new 55" Roku model. I've had it for about 1.5 months and it was working great. Last night we had a thunderstorm which knocked the power out for seconds while the tv was on. The TV was plugged into a surge protector. When the power came back the tv entered into a loop of turning itself on and off showing only a turquoise screen with the Hisense Roku logo. The power went out and came back so quick that it didn't even turn my fans off.
I called the Hisense customer support and was surprised to find out that when they replace defective tvs the new tv follows the original tv's warranty; which for me expired in June. So I was told that there was nothing Hisense could do and to look for a local tv repair shop. So in a little over 1 year I have had 2 malfunctioned Hisense smart tvs. I absolutely would not recommend Hisense to anyone looking to purchase a new tv. They may be less expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Stick to name brand and do your research before purchasing a smart tv. If where you are purchasing it from offers an extended warranty I would definitely spend the extra money on it.

I bought my Hisense TV from Walmart in May 2018. In November 2018 it was acting up (forgot the exact issue) so I called customer service and explained my problem. They walked me through a quick 'fix' by pressing a series of buttons (on the remote) twice. Hallelujah, it worked. In June 2019 I was experiencing the same problems and I called them and was told it was not under warranty and there was nothing they could do. I said "No, it's the same thing that happened in November... (they had a record of me calling in November) You just have to walk me through the fix procedure again." They said "No, you're not under warranty." I couldn't believe it! I realize it's NOT under warranty but can't you give me the sequence of pressing which remote buttons that will bring it back like the first time?
Unfortunately as soon as the technician realized it was out of warranty the conversation tone changed immediately from a helpful "How can I help you?" to almost a snicker: "Sorry, there's nothing I can do." It felt as if my being out of warranty was his "out". He no longer had to deal with me. At any rate as fate would have it I played around (I didn't know what the heck I was doing) but I managed to get it working again ON MY OWN! Yahoo! Now here it is in August 2019 and I'm having problems again. The screen is black but the TV on. This time I called AT&T/DirecTV (my provider). When I mentioned Hisense they pretty much told me "I'm going to be honest with you sir, it's your TV. We get so many calls from Hisense users. I'm terribly sorry." I am a widower on a pension. I can't afford to buy another TV right now. I am so upset. I'll never buy another Hisense TV or product EVER AGAIN! Please DON'T waste your money!

So this TV has been a headache. Firstly it was advertised as 60hz but only does 30hz. Support said it was due to a software update. The TV updater said it was up to date. So I tried their USB update but lo and behold it didn't work. The other issue that is more pressing now that we have had it a while was the random turn off, blank screens, no inputs working, controls not responding. The build-in apps are a joke and hardly work when they want to. You can't add or remove any and on is just a ton of what looks to be low quality pirated content. No Hulu. Customer service won't help past sending me the file as it is out of warranty by 6 months, purchased in May last year. We need a class action against this.

I have bought a Hisense 50'' 4K UHD smart TV a little more than a year ago and the seam started to come "undone". The seam kept expanding and expanding. We didn't think that it was a big problem, since you can't really see it unless you're up close and know what you are looking. So we forgot about it, until 2 weeks ago. The seam started adding pressure to the screen and ... the screen cracked! We bought the TV through Takealot and they doesn't want to refund us, even though it is still under warranty. So what can I do? I have come across other reviews of people also complaining about this.

Purchased a 60” Hisense, had decent reviews and a great price so I picked one up. Never again, the TV is 16 months old and ** off by itself-so, I call tech support understanding that it’s out of warranty but seeking some guidance as to WHAT the problem is and if I’m in for a costly repair. I give a very specific detailed description of the problem and I’m just repeatedly told “It’s out of warranty.” Assuring them I knew this I merely wanted to know a possible reason as they’re “techs”.. I’m refused any such help and referred to my local TV repair facility. When I ask to speak to a manager I’m told there is none available and to leave my name and number and I “should receive” a call in 48 hours. The TV is garbage and the customer service is worse.

My wife bought this tv the middle of December 2018. By the middle of February I called for the first time about issues with the tv. Every couple days I was having to manually connect my tv to the internet. It was kicking me out of the apps I was watching. We set up a service call to fix the issues. The service man replaced the motherboard and the modem. In less than 2 months the service guy was coming back to my home. This time he replace the motherboard again and the modem antenna. Now, a month and a half later, I have had to call them back because the tv still kicks me out of apps, freezes up, sometimes have to connect internet manually, and now it has just started shutting off all by itself.
So today I call back and speak with a representative and got nowhere. She just kept asking me the same questions over and over. Asked to speak with a supervisor and am still waiting on a call after 2 hours. Will never buy Hisense again. Going to have to file a complaint with FTC to possibly either get money back or replace tv. So buyer beware, don't buy their products

Maybe I just have an older model, but... It's a "smart" TV. It doesn't allow for useful apps. It's pre-loaded… most of the apps are different variations of each other. If it says free, it's not. You get a clip. The same clip that of the garden variety of what's on YouTube or the web in general. There's not even a level or platform to allow you to purchase membership for perhaps full content which of course is good because the programming is of such that it's neither relevant nor particularly useful.
To have a smart TV that has no outside or upgrade level beyond having a Fire Stick or Vue or a premium programs platform is a waste. You still end up paying for cable or some service or device. There's devices to turn even your analog TVs into receptors for air cable. The screen is nice, settings and management is simplistic, and getting a replacement remote is relatively easy. The browser is horrible, and the apps a waste of time, and its limitations are unfortunate.

We love our Hisense TV except for one thing - it will not get apps for quite a few things that other TVs have, just two being Hulu and PureFlix. Quite disappointed about this since we depend on our streaming for all TV watching and want to get these "channels." We are hoping that Hisense will realize that they may not sell TVs if people cannot get these, AND maybe they will either partner with or put pressure on these companies to get the apps done for people to be able to access. At this point, we are tempted to return our Hisense and switch to a television that will at least get PureFlix.

I purchased a 55 inch Hisense smart TV from Walmart in March 2018. A few days after using the TV it starting freezing while using YouTube. I called Hisense customer service. They came out and changed the board and we still had the problem. Decided to continue using the TV without apps and then it started going blank and not responding to the remote. In order to turn the TV on or get to respond to the remote I had to give it a hard reset by unplugging the TV. I called Hisense again in June 2019 because I was tired of having to unplug the TV to reset it in order to get it to work and they could not help because my one year warranty had expired. This is the worst piece of electronics that I have ever purchased. Lesson learned no more Hisense. They claim to be the manufacturers of Sharp and Toshiba.

I bought the television in December 2017. Now 1 year 7 months later the tv no longer functions. When there is too much bright light on the screen (usually when the screen is all white) the tv turns itself off. I called and gave the serial/model #s to a lady on the phone, to my surprise she assured me they would fix or replace the television with no cost to myself! First I would need to send a video to an email (pop@hisense-usa.com). When I called the company back the next day they apologised and said that email is full and provided me with an alternate address.
Also he added they would need a receipt, a picture of the tv on, and a picture of the tv off in addition to the video (none of which was asked for the previous day). I told him I didn't have the receipt, he then asked when I bought the tv. When I told him it was over a year he immediately asked if I was aware that the warranty expired after 1 year. He then said I could pay to have the unit repaired at a local shop. I now have a useless television and have been jerked around for two days for no reason. I highly recommend buying a different brand television. It is hard to believe that a company could last when the consumer pays $500 for a tv that lasts 1.5years. I will never buy another Hisense product.

Purchased a Hisense smart TV 9 months ago with a 5 year warranty from Costco. Recently a software problem developed which was known to the company and they said they were dealing with the matter. I was advised to carry out a factory reset which I did and the TV worked for a few hours. After repeated calls they sent a software update in the form of a USB stick. This worked for an hour and the problem returned. Since then they have said a phone call could be expected within 24-48 hours from the technical division. The call would then arrange for an engineer to attend the site for a possible repair/pickup of the unit. I feel that a software update should be something that could be carried out in a matter of minutes.
Since the company was aware of the problem previously, customers should have been notified and the update carried out, prior to the customers having to complain about the poor service and product. I reported the matter to Costco who have noted the problems but are unable to help any further, it's the manufacturer who has to deal with it. I remain very disappointed with the quality of the product and service division and certainly would not recommend Hisense to a prospective buyer.

They requested that we send a short video of what the TV was doing, a picture of the back of the TV, and a picture of the receipt. We have sent it three times! I called to have them fix it again, but they told me that my warranty expired 3 months ago and refuse to fix it/replace it/refund my money for a product that is clearly defective. I bought a Hisense TV at the Black Friday event at Walmart (2018). Took it home, kept it upright, in the box, until March 6 2019. As soon as I turned it on, there were lines on the screen, so I called customer service to file a claim. I was instructed to take a picture of the screen and send it to them so their adjusters could review it. I received several emails and texts saying they could not see the picture. Finally 3 weeks after I initially called customer service, I was informed that the screen was "cracked" and not covered under their warranty. Walmart won't discuss a refund as it is more than 30 days since the purchase.
I asked the Hisense customer service rep to speak to a supervisor. After 7 minutes on hold, she informed me that there were no supervisors there at that time. She offered to have someone call me back. I did receive the return call, and was informed that damage, whether accidental or not, incurred during shipping, or at the retailer, was not covered and there is no recourse from them. We bought a Hisense TV the 55 in smart 4K TV. Had it for about 3 months until something internally blew. We were not home and came home to the TV with a blown screen. It was fine earlier that morning. It has been acting up since we got it. Walmart would not take it back and Hisense would not replace the parts so now I have a non-working three-month-old TV that we bought with taxes and it up spending a fortune for it and they will not fix it. So if you're looking into buying a TV do you not buy Hisense or Emerson considering they own both and we bought both Brands and got screwed really bad for both.
The Emerson TV on the other hand just decided to not turn on anymore after 3 months. There's nothing wrong with the screen. Nothing wrong with the power cord. We bought a total of 3 TVs and only one is working which really sucks. Then they told us to send them pictures. They did not send anybody out to my house and they claim that we damaged the TVs even though there wasn't not even a scuff or a mark on the TV which is really irritating. So I paid extra money for the warranty when I bought them for them to do nothing nor send anyone out.
I would never recommend this brand to anyone. I will stick with my Westinghouse and my Vizios from now on. At least I know I've had them for at least 7 years and they are perfectly fine and have had no issues. Good luck to anyone who buys this brand. I have emails to verify everything that I am speaking of and the lady was very rude on the phone.

Can't even download it. Then it about a month later went black and I had to unplug it to get it to work again. Ok then February 2019 comes around and all of a sudden the tv is now making YouTube work terrible and then freeze, even Netflix is now kicking me back to the smart TV home screen and won't let me log back in unless I unplug the tv. Within 16 months the screen went blank. You can hear the audio but no picture. Called customer service and was truly surprised at the level of customer support. We had tossed the original box so they sent us a new one. Packed it up and shipped it back by FedEx on a Hisense prepaid shipping label.
To our surprise we received the unit back within a week. AWESOME! Now here's the downside. Yesterday we encountered the same issue but now it's out of warranty. Haven't yet made any inquiries about repairing or replacing. Here's my opinion. When it's working the picture quality can be compared to units costing twice as much. I would suggest that if you can find the tv with an extended warranty with a cost savings that justifies the purchase. Buy it knowing that perhaps the lifespan of the unit will probably be shorter than a more expensive unit perhaps.

Have also contacted both Netflix and Stan direct and advised fault is with Hisense. Have been promised call backs from Hisense... DOES NOT HAPPEN. So will be returning my Hisense Smart TV for a full refund and going with Samsung... Call centre very unhelpful. Shortest wait time was 50 mins. Had enough. My advise do not buy Hisense. This TV has been nothing but a utter disappointment. They are priced reasonably for what they "advertise" you will receive as perks of app usage but that is completely FALSE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! This problem has persisted since the initial purchase with little to no help from constant calls to customer service. The TV once powered off will automatically restart itself within a 2-3 minute period. The technical support team at Hisense are unable to assist you in this matter and are primarily set on retrieving extensive personal information which is not needed to be obtain by us the consumer. Worst experience I've ever had with a smart TV purchase & will not be buying this brand again. The problem still persists, the only fix is unplugging the TV after each use. This brand of TV is nothing more than a hassle for any person trying to purchase the product for relaxation in their leisure time.

I heard a lot of good things about this brand, so when I decided to trade my 11 years old Philips for a new 4K TV I picked this one, that was 150 euros cheaper than a Samsung. Although it's not terrible, and feels OK for a standard use, I have a lot of major issues: Contrast is horrendous. If you watch a 4K movie on Netflix, during dark scenes, everything will look blurry and unnatural (after a professional calibration that is). Daylight scenes are beautiful though. Internal OS is laggy at best, and buggy sometimes. For example, I have to disconnect/reconnect my Netflix account once every few days in order for it to work.
Most of the software image enhancement options make no sense: the dynamic contrast mostly destroys your color settings, and the dynamic lightning keeps brightening and dimming the image all the time, that is obvious and annoying while playing video games. There is no dedicated game mode. It's okay-ish to "just" watch TV, it's decent to play games, but don't expect a home cinema experience with this TV. After one week I've already swapped it for a slightly more expensive Samsung that has very good professional reviews.

I have called the company 2 different times for 2 different issues. The first issue was to deactivate the YouTube app on the device which 2 weeks later I finally got a call back from a manager (totally unprofessional callback time). They could not remove or deactivate the app because they make these deals with other companies. I wanted to block some content that could not be blocked therefore I wanted to remove it and to my dismay they could not remove it. I have underage kids and sometimes when I am not in the room they have unintentionally watched some weird and not appropriate stuff. I explained to the manager that the kids 4 and 7 did not even understand what they were looking at. He advised that I should block the content (which was an idiot response most people would already attempt to do that and call them as a last resort).
Well I advised him that I had done that on my YouTube account and that Hisense should at least have kids Youtube available because today's children are YouTube kids and for some odd reason they love YouTube rather than old fashion cartoons. Well no help there. The crux of the matter is the management was unhelpful and unapologetic. However the second contact was definitely a great experience. Having customer service agents that actually go out of their way to help makes up for those people who are not so great.

Makes sense since I have to upload new stuff for my tablets and everything else. The single most thing I don’t know how to work or it doesn't exist is the channel guide of what’s coming on. You can hear the program that is airing but the picture is not working. The TV is on but you cannot view any show. This TV is horrible. I am horrified at reading all these negative reviews. I bought it at Wal-Mart. I am very disappointed that Wal-Mart would do business with such a crappy company.
I will not be buying anything of importance from Wal-Mart again. They lost my confidence. If you align yourself with ultra poor quality then that pretty much says it all. I will try and contact Hisense and Wal-Mart about replacing the TV or hopefully getting a full refund. I bought the t.v. right before 2018 at Wal-Mart for $475.00 and worked very well for about 5 months then noticed a lot of heat coming from the t.v. (It would heat the bedroom 20×20 8ft ceiling in about a hour 5 degrees. We used a thermometer.) Even though we found this is common with LCD TVs we kept it. After about 8 months the t.v. would freeze on YouTube streaming on every video about 2 mins in and nothing but a loading screen (we even changed internet providers 3 times while owned). It did this more and more too where it took a half an hour to watch one 5 min video.
Also we had a ps3 connected and used the headphones jack on the t.v. while gaming. After a few times we lost all sound from t.v. and had to purchase a "sound bar" just to hear the t.v. Now today January 1st 2019 all the apps are not working and won't load anything except our digital cable. I was told from a friend to buy this t.v. and to end this he is no longer my friend! Within 2 years the picture went completely out. Of course, warranty expires and reading the horror stories of people trying to get customer service to help them, what was the point? I reluctantly bought this TV, since the price was decent but I had never heard of Hisense. I should have went with my gut and just paid a little more for a brand that is a little more established. We have had a Hisense Smart TV for approximately 3 years. It has never had any ability to download additional apps as most smart TVs allow. Even the so called app store that was on it never allowed us to add apps to our TV. The apps that came pre-installed never have any ability to be even updated. It had issues of constantly freezing after maybe 30 min of use. Eventually it just turned off and would not turn on again even though it was evident there was still power to the device.
When Hisense was contacted they didn't even offer any solutions or fixes for the TV which we would have self repaired as we cannot afford a new TV at this time. Their solution was to tell us to buy another TV. It is HORRIBLE that a TV that cost as much as this one did had such a short lifespan. I have TVs that cost less 10 years ago that have gone through hell and back but still work and this one stopped working after just 3 years. I will not be buying this brand again. I will stick with more reputable brands such as Samsung, LG, Sony and Sylvania which has quality products made to last.

They sent someone out to fix the TV 4-5 days later, because he had to wait for new internal boards to come in, well he takes TV apart and installs new boards, then sets up stations, ask me to come in the room and check, to view a working product. Well the TV wouldn't even turn on, he states maybe they sent him defective boards, he talks to the company, they said they will order new boards. One week later I get a call stating the boards are in, we need to set up an appointment. That person come out, puts in the new boards, 2 weeks later the screen starts going black, but the sound is still going. I have to turn off the TV and turn back on.
After about a week of doing this, I call Hisense again. Initially very pleased but within a few days I started to experience issues with the remote and also image freezing in Netflix and YouTube, only a power off/on would resolve the issue. I contacted Hisense and they immediately advised that I needed to upgrade the software (so known issue!!!). The software was delivered by email and I was instructed to download and unpack the software packet and plug into the TV USB port. However the TV was close mounted to the wall and needed to be removed from the wall in order to access the USB port. This I did and reattached the legs to perform the upgrade. It didn’t work!
I was now advised that Hisense would send me a patch on a USB stick in approx 5 days. I now proceeded to refit the TV to the wall mount, this went well and I watched the TV for 2 hours or so. I returned to the TV later to find that in switching in the screen appeared damaged with the center 1/3 of the screen blacked out. Hisense say I have and I have no claim on them and need to claim on my insurance.
I find it absolutely disgusting that a company firstly supplies a TV with a known fault (software). Then asks the customer to fix it, not knowing the level of competence of the customer nor the circumstances, detail or location of the installation. In directing the fix fails to detail the total frailty of the screen. The screen was not dropped or excess pressure applied at any point and I read of many other failed screens too. I would advise anyone else to demand Hisense perform the upgrade or wait for the upgrade via scheduled software upgrade within the TV's normal operating process. This was not offered to me. These TVs are very very delicate/frail! I would also ask Hisense as to what is the specified force to fail the screen?

I purchased a Hisense Television on February 23, 2018. Needless to say my remote control has already stopped working. When I called customer service everything the agent (Brittany) told me to do, I had already done the previous night 7-29-18, because I had done research and apparently this is a common thing with this company for their remote controls to just stop working, anyway she told me that my warranty was only good for 90 days and that I would have to purchase another remote control. What a load of bull, I purchased four TVs from them at my time of purchase and if I would have known this I would have never brought anything from them. I will be getting rid of your products and never using your company again.

I was blew away with the picture on the Hisense 4K TV so I bought one then was so blown away with the picture I went out and bought another one. 3 months later had problem with the first TV. Would not take updates. They sent me a motherboard and sent out a repair man out to replace it. The next year the same thing, plus the picture would freeze up. They sent some more parts out, and sent a repair man to replace the parts. My wife was at home when he arrived 4 hours late, she said he was in a bad mood. She said he laid the TV face down on our foot stool. Then when he removed the back of the TV he dropped some of the screws down in to the TV. He asked her to help pick up the TV and they heard the screws rattle inside of the TV. She had to ask him, "Aren't you going to get those screws out", so he had to lay the TV back down, take the back off and fish out the screws.
After I got home an hour later and turned on the TV, I seen a 3 inch white line on the screen, I called Hisense Customer service. They said they needed pictures of the screen. We sent them the pictures, I called them back a week later cause we had not heard from them and asked them about the TV screen and told them that our other Hisense TV would not turn on. They said the screen was cracked and they VOIDED my Warranty. I told them If it's cracked it would have to be scratched from the inside cause you could NOT feel a crack on the outside of the screen. They INSIST they are not liable that they personally did not work on the TV and they did not know who or what company came out to work on it.
I told them that they were responsible cause if the person that came out to work on the TV was not one of their regular employee then they hired someone to do the work for them, so they are responsible for the white line/crack? on the screen, then asked about my other TV. They informed me that I had NO WARRANTY on either of my TVs, I had called them several times to try to get this resolved with no avail. DON'T BUY HISENSE! I recently bought a Hisense TV. Within a month the TV was already giving me problems. There were lines on the bottom of the screen. I called the manufacturer and they wanted me to take pictures of the TV. I sent them the pictures, and the manufacturer decided that my TV had to be replaced. They sent me a box for shipping. I would say it took the manufacturer approx. 3 weeks to send me my TV back. Once I received the repair unit, it was in worse shape. It look like someone jumped up and down on the screen then sent it back to me.
I called customer service and they were completely useless. They wanted to send me a new box, which would take about a week to get to me. Then I would've had to send the broken TV in that box and expect another week to get there. So, we're talking about another 3 weeks for me to get my TV back the second time. I feel at this time the company is just screwing around with me. I call and request to speak with a manager or supervisor. But my request is always denied. At this point I'm not sure what to do but to take legal action against Hisense. Again, please consider your options before buying a product from Hisense.

Purchased a 55" smart tv from Wal-Mart in 2015. Loved the tv. Had a great picture. The moment I took it out of the box and hung it on the wall it had problems. Everything had to get updated right out of the box??? Brand new tv and all the apps, and operating software is out of date. Raised my concerns right away. Called customer service and they walked me through the process. Everything started to work except Youtube. Called back. Was informed it needed a software update. She made a case and informed me I would be contacted. Time went on since it wasn't important, and forgotten about. Called back several months to find out what was happening. Now they stated that have new software and were unable to locate my ticket number. I requested another ticket and they sent out a tech to look at my tv.
Tech shows up without the part (main CPU board). He said Hisense recommended replacing. Rescheduled for another day saying part was in his office. Came back and installed, he then left before checking if that resolved issues. After I got tv back up and running called and informed him it didn't work. He called Hisense and said they would be sending out another board, and they would contact me. Never was called nor did I receive new board. Called back several months later and it was all rescheduled and same tech came back out. Replaced the same board. Still didn't not work. Now the tv would randomly shut off, Youtube still didn't work. He spoke to Hisense again from my home, they told him they would contact me with further instructions. NEVER WAS CONTACTED AGAIN.
Several weeks passed and I called Hisense again with the same stupid customer service wanting to try and do a master reset of tv. Nothing ever working. They ordered to have new shop tv to then to fix. They sent me box and shopping labels, sent tv for repairs. When I received my tv back not only did Youtube not work, Netflix had been deleted from tv apps, the screen was damaged, and tv still randomly shut off. I took pictures and immediately contacted Hisense and sent pictures. Days later I got a call back from manager and he ordered another return of tv for repair. They sent another box, labels and tv was sent back. I was contacted after a couple weeks saying it was unfixable. They will be sending me a new tv. Being that my model is now outdated they will send me the newest edition.
Upon receiving the new tv BOX I opened to find my same model tv but was someone else's old dirty scratched tv. This tv had ask the same issues as my tv I sent for repairs redirect the damaged screen. I called immediately and spoke to Hisense and the manager told me that they will not send a new tv out for a warranty replacement, it will be refurbished/like new. I explained that this tv was in worse condition than mine I sent in. Asked for a supervisor/manager to call me. Once again NEVER RECEIVED A CALL!! I called again and finally spoke to a supervisor and he escalated the issue. He eventually called me back after about week and a half explaining a full refund will be issued, and to send back the tv. So another box, shipping label was sent, and tv was returned.
After a couple weeks go by I receive another tv from Hisense via FedEx, I never even opened. Called Hisense immediately and spoke to the same supervisor, explained how I received another tv and why? He was unaware why I received tv that refund was already approved. He sent another shipping label and I returned tv. Called again after a couple weeks go by and try to speak to supervisor which they did none area available. This is going on 6 weeks and still have not received money and them saying it has been processed. This company SUCKS!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Bought the tv (Hisense 55 4K/UHD H6 series TV) in August 2017. Haven’t been impressed with the picture since we got it. Actually our two other HD TV's have a great picture, both 42 inch. One a Philips. The other a Hisense. A couple of months ago the screen background looked like the dust on the hood of a car with tiny raindrops in the dust. I called my cable company who came out and checked my router and cable and said it was all ok. They put in an amp to boost the signal. I then called Hisense too many times to count and have sent them numerous videos, one set of videos they lost and I had to send another set. After arguing with them that something was wrong with the picture they sent me a box.
I mailed it to them, it was there one day and then 5 days later it showed up on my front door step. No paperwork, no email, nothing! I set it up turned it on, the same problem. I called them and asked to speak to a supervisor. She checked their records and said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I told them if they don’t refund my money or send me a new tv by next Friday I will report to FTC and BBC and will seek legal action. I am not getting stuck with a bad TV!
Updated on 02/13/2018: This is a follow up to my review on February 10. Hisense called me and said there was nothing wrong with the TV. I told them that the picture was horrible and to send a technician out to physically see what was wrong with it. I’m sorry but the person on the phone acted like he didn’t have a clue about how to handle this situation so I asked for a supervisor. She said they only send out a technician on certain cases. I said this sounds like one of those cases. She told me she would escalate my case after I told her I was going to call the FTC and BBB. That was Thursday. I gave them until Friday to call. It’s now Monday.
I called Walmart and told them about my situation and they told me to bring the TV in. I bought it in August it is now February well past their 90 day return policy. I brought the TV in. They exchanged it. I have a brand new 4K HDTV with a great picture and saved 100.00. It’s pretty sad when a company (Hisense) won’t stand behind their product but Walmart will. I will be a lifelong customer with Walmart but Hisense can go pound sand!

F.Y.I if your Tv is 4 years or less it may be under warranty and can get repaired for free with shipping pre-paid by them. I purchased a Hisense 55" 4k Smart tv in 2015 from Walmart. It went out on me on Dec 20th, 2017 (black screen/no picture but sound). I was pissed... especially since Black Friday had passed... I read all sorts of horrifying stories about them and their products, looked at endless YouTube videos on repairs for my issue, and even considered calling it a loss and buying a better brand TV. Weeks later of letting this consume me, I suddenly realized that I never contacted Hisense customer service to even see what options I had if any, so I Googled a number and called. To my surprise, after providing the model and serial and some simple troubleshooting, I was told it was still under the 4-year warranty and they would ship me a box.
I made this call on Jan 2nd, 2018, the box and prepaid label for the tv came on the 6th (4 days later). I packed it according to their instruction along with all 6 pieces of hard bubble foam protectors (THEY PROVIDED) for the screen, and drove it to the nearest FedEx and off went my TV. On Jan 20th, 2018 (13 days later) my tv was back and delivered by FedEx and working. They repaired it! I'm still in shock. Now I'm a happy Hisense customer and may even consider buying my 70" from them because I was given excellent customer care and satisfaction. If your TV is less than 4 years new. Call them! Purchased a 55" Hisense 4K TV (H6 Series) from Best Buy in Sept 2017 and have had constant pixelation, artifacting and ghosting with the video. Contacted their customer service and sent a copy of my receipt and a short video showing the crappy image quality. I have two other 1080p TV's (Insignia and Acer) that I tested side by side against the Hisense using cable (Xfinity) and Blu-ray players (Samsung and Xbox One) as sources, using 3 different HDMI cables/ vendors (Hi Speed and 4K rated) and the pixelation only happens on the Hisense. Based on what I can tell, it seems the HDMI ports (all 4 of them HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 enhanced) are having issues converting the signal and/or the processor on this TV is bad. When streaming 4K/UHD content from Amazon or Netflix (through the Ethernet port) the picture quality is really good and works as expected. When streaming any HD signals through the HDMI port however, the image is chunky.
They opened a case, sent me a return label and box which arrived about 10 days later. I returned the TV and after about two more weeks, they sent it back - no indication of what was wrong, no paperwork. I called their customer service and they mentioned they replaced the mainboard/panel and some LSV cable so I was excited as this was repaired for free and I got it back in a relatively short timeframe. Well it does the same thing as before, no improvement in the image quality at all. I'm extremely frustrated at this point and plan on contacting Hisense again. I've been checking some AV forums and other users have had similar issue and problems right out of the box. The TV was inexpensive ($400 on sale) but it is not worth it!! I will never buy another Hisense product again.
Updated on 2/23/2018: I submitted a review on 1/7/18 regarding an issue that I had with Hisense and poor image quality and have an update. After sending the TV back to Hisense for a second time within two months, they ended up replacing the mainboard (again) or power supply and this corrected the picture issue. However, now the TV on-screen menu (channel info, resolution info, program info, etc.) will freeze when watching with our HD antennae. After changing channels using the Hisense remote, the menu freezes, but the channel content continues to stream. I've checked a few forums and this sounds like a known issue with Hisense TVs. When this happens, the remote buttons and buttons on the side of the TV are not responsive. The only way to correct this is to power cycle/ unplug the TV. Unfortunately this will only work for a short time. When watching TV, we need to power cycle the TV everyday.
I contacted Hisense about this issue and they opened a new case and escalated this to their Tier 2 staff. Tier 2 was supposed to contact me with 48-72 hours after the case was opened, but this never happened. I then called Hisense again asked to speak to a manager or supervisor (I want this TV exchanged or some money back at this point as I feel this is a lemon) but again, this hasn't happened. Every time I contact their call center, I get a different story and no supervisor is ever available to take my call. At this point, I don't know if contacting the Attorney General or the BBB is a worth a shot. The more I research this (and Hisense in general) the more dissatisfied customer reviews I find. Sharp is even suing Hisense after selling the Sharp TV name rights to Hisense recently. "Sharp says its US TVs are 'shoddily manufactured'''. Bottom line is stay away from Hisense products. Thanks!

I didn't expect a LOT given the modest price of the Hisense H7 UHD Monitor with HDR10 High Dynamic Range, but at least I expected a complete uncorrupted image the second I turned it on for the first time! I ordered the monitor from PC Richard in NYC delivered to my home, and when I came in this evening I saw it sitting on the landing. So I carried it upstairs to my place, opened the box, and the first thing I see is a cautionary note saying "This monitor is VERY sensitive - please place face down on a soft surface". So I did - I put it on a large pillow on the carpeted floor, before I screwed on the feet so it could freestand.
I treated it carefully, didn't smack it into anything - but when I turn the set on for the first time, there's a HUGE Vertical rainbow obscuring pretty much the entire right half of the screen! It hasn't gone away, there's no way to degauss the screen to see if that helps, and I'm wondering just how "careful" I'm expected to be with a 43" UHD TV that's shipped to me via parcel post. Is this normal for UHD screens? I've had LED LCD flat panels before that have taken a great deal of abuse without any issue - or if they HAVE taken damage (mostly liquid damage) it was nowhere near this bad. Is there something about UHD screens that almost any contact can cause them to be this badly damaged?

Then the TV started turning off for about 10 seconds, then it would power on again. It was sporadic, so at first I thought maybe it was the cable. After a few months, it would happen from time to time, but by then, I had the TV for over a year. This year during Thanksgiving, it happened while I had company. I was so embarrassed. My sister had one, so I asked if her TV did the same. She said not at all.
OK. Embarrassment aside, I decided I will never purchase a Hisense again. But it gets worse. I wake up this morning 12/5/17, I turn on the TV and there's no color. I go through all the troubleshooting, although I know none of it applies to me. Then I get a chat request from Hisense. I respond, spend time explaining the problem, then they ask if I'm in South Africa. Of course when I say "no the U.S"., they say, “Sorry, you'll have to contact the international customer support”. Well, bought the fridge from supplier in Cairns. Had to have repair when fridge was one week out of warranty. One small part. Called the 1300 tel number in Australia. Rude, nasty young man! Told me he was too busy and only really interested in warranty work. I explained the appliance repairer had called numerous times with no luck and that there was another repair to be done and had no luck ordering a simple part! He said he would call back IF he was not busy. Apparently, next day he did call and then hung up!
Tried calling a number in Australia to complain, guess what-impossible to get anyone! Shame on you Hisense. Will never recommend ANY of your products nor your company. Poor service, rude poorly trained call centre staff! Beware, if you buy a Hisense product, chances are you will NEVER get it repaired no matter how minor the problem! They do not care!

Relatively new and so far our Hisense TV works great. Although it might be a tad large for our smaller viewing room. Love the picture, especially night cityscapes, country landscapes; clarity wonderful compared to old tube set; would have preferred Sony or LG but price was right for us on sale at Best Buy. Sound's also good with added speakers.

We've had this TV for 3 months. After a month it started screeching after changing any channel. Awful sound and so aggravating. No way to fix it. The most we have been able to found out is that this problem coincides with a change in software and we have to wait until a fix is developed. Totally unacceptable. Can't wait to dump this piece of crap.

My experience with these people has been absolutely horrible. After purchasing my television (Hisense 40") from a Wal-Mart some time in October of 2016, I began to have issues with my television almost immediately after plugging it in out of the box. The television would turn itself off and back on again on its own without me wishing it to do so. Initially I thought the television was just calibrating itself so I didn't think much of it. I didn't really use the TV much the following week. After about two or three weeks after purchasing a DVD player, cable & internet and a PS4 I began trying to use my TV much more frequently for movies, cable TV shows & online video games. Almost immediately it became apparent I had a problem.
The TV would continually turn itself on and off in spurs for almost 5-10 minutes at a time making it nearly impossible to do anything or enjoy watching anything on it. I thought about taking it back to the Wal-Mart I had purchased it from but had exceeded my two weeks to do so because after my purchase I had been very busy with errands and work. So with that being said I decided to contact Hisense about the issue since I had the television under warranty when I bought it at the register.
To make this to the point, I had a technician from Hisense come out to my house not once but twice to fix the issue and he was unable to solve the problem especially since it's hard to tell if it's fixed or not because the television would spazz out randomly but then work again for hours at a time. All of which I video recorded via cellphone and emailed to Hisense. I was then instructed to mail them the TV not once, not twice but three times and on the third time they sent me a replacement television which only lasted about a week before the audio went out!! Jeez.
So finally after having an aneurysm over the phone I was able to convince them to give me a refund. I sent the television in September 15th and it's now November 11th and I have still yet to receive my refund. This is the only television in my home. I've spent more money paying for the cable and Internet that I can't use because I have no TV to use it on than what the television itself is worth. I just feel so ripped off. This whole experience has just been hell and it's been going on for over a year now. With the amount of times I've sent that television in to be repaired and sent it in for a refund I've probably been without a TV for a total of 4 months, possibly more. The rest of the year I've just dealt with the television in between sending it in for repairs because I really just wanted to use it and was tired of sitting around waiting for them to fix it just to get it back and find out it's still broken. So I would just deal with it for a month or two at a time.
Please for the love of God anybody reading this do not purchase anything from these people. Stay away and go with a trusted name brand. Their warranty is crap. If whatever you bought from these people doesnt work you are better off taking the loss throwing it in the trash and moving on with your life. These people are scam artists and do not back up their products!!!

The brand new Hisense TV I bought 4 months ago with 3 year warranty just suddenly stopped working properly. The display just suddenly went black but the audio was still working. My sister rang the customer service and after a week 2 technicians came to our house to have a look. They later found out that the Hisense should replace it as it can't be fixed. After a week of waiting no one has called us to update regarding the replacement. So I called on a Monday. They said that they haven't got the final report yet from the technician and will call me back 24-48 hours regarding the update. After 48 hours no one has called me again and decided to follow it up.
When I spoke with another customer service, they said I will need to wait another 7-10 business days before someone can come and replace my TV. So I asked what? Another 7-10 BUSINESS days from now? So if that would be the case I will need to wait another 2 weeks? So It will actually take 1 month overall just to replace my TV?! It's so hard not having a TV for 2 weeks and another 2 weeks of waiting?! If I did not followed it up is it going to take longer??? What a poor service HISENSE! It made me regret buying HISENSE TV!

The gentleman I spoke with was mistaken. I received the newest line of tv, brand new. I still stand by how inconvenient and frustrating it was to get to this point but am happy with the outcome.
Original Review: Oct. 24, 2017
I'll start this by saying that in the end I am satisfied-ish.. I purchased a 55 in. Smart TV in 2015. I usually stay within brand names that I know and trust but it was Black Friday and the deal was too good to pass up. The TV worked great for about a year and a half when suddenly the picture went out but the sound still worked, hmm...
I contacted the Hisense warranty department and was asked to e-mail a copy of my receipt for proof of purchase before anything else, which I did. I waited 48 hours (the time in which they had to contact me after submitting the receipt) and heard nothing. I contacted them and was told they don't show it was received, after waiting on hold for a while they "found" it. The first step was to have a technician look at it, the wait time to have them come out was a week (typical) and they wanted to give 4 hour time windows (also typical). With my work schedule this was not possible so I asked to contact the tech directly to drop off at their shop - not a problem, so far so good.
I dropped the TV off to the tech and was told we were waiting on the part Hisense thought it was. Tech replaced the part, didn't fix it and reported it was the panel that was the problem. This is where everything went downhill. Per the written Hisense warranty there are two options should you have an issue with your TV: 1. They pay parts and labor to a certified technician for repair or 2. They replace the TV with a like or better model.
So my understanding at this point is they are going to replace it, they contacted me and said the next step is to go get the TV back from the tech, they will ship me an empty box (Which I have to sign for), package my TV into the empty box, take it to a FedEx store and ship it to them in Georgia and they will repair the panel which they cannot ship to the tech because it's delicate and they will ship it back to me (Have to sign for again). Holy inconvenience Batman!!! Fine... if that's what has to be done then that's what I’ll do but, I asked that they change the address in my file to my office address as I am not home to sign for anything during the day and cannot get to a FedEx store before they close, was assured it had been changed and please wait 5-7 days for your big empty box.
5-7 days later I receive a call from a FedEx driver who is at my house with a large empty box I need to sign for, Great! I contacted Hisense and they had not changed the address so I had to leave work early to pick it up. My main concern about shipping it to them was "What if it's damaged being shipped to you?" and was told by the supervisor that they assume all responsibility during shipping.
First thing you find in the empty box is a disclaimer that if the TV is damaged in shipping your warranty is void, well that's the opposite of what I was told. Packed the TV the best I could and missed some more work to take it to FedEx. A few days later I received a call that they have received the TV and will ship me a replacement (Awesome!) as my TV was "unrepairable". I asked for the model number they were shipping and was told 55H8C which is an upgrade to a 4K smart TV and their newest model! Wow, amazing customer service! I tend not to believe things so I called again and had them confirm the model number I was given and to my surprise they confirmed that was the one being shipped. At this point I was fully prepared to buy Hisense everything, even though there had been problems they obviously cared that I remain a lifelong customer by making it right, right???
This morning I arrive at work and to their credit the second time around they shipped it to the right place but when I opened the box the model number that was confirmed twice to be 55H8C read on the box as 55H7D a lower quality and year older model than I was told... I called Hisense for the millionth time and asked him to confirm the model being shipped and he again said 55H8C, when I informed him that is not what I just received I was placed on hold for a while. He checked why the wrong one was sent. He came back on the phone and instead said I was told wrong when I talked to them last week, I asked him why he said the same thing when I called and could not give a good answer. He said he would check with a supervisor and call me back - 4 hours ago. I'm not going to hold my breath because even if they do call me back from my experience so far I don't see them making anything right or having a good explanation.
I wrote in the beginning that I am satisfied-ish because yes, they did replace the TV under warranty and it is a better TV than what I had but the amount of time and effort and lying and mistakes made on their part were not worth the frustration. In their opening line recording they state they make everything, appliances etc... not just TV's. As a homeowner who will buy many of the products they manufacture in the future. It would be in their best interest to get and keep customers who will buy more of everything from them. Having a TV break in a year and a half already doesn't bode well for instilling confidence in their products topped with the way they handle business when something does happen equals losing a customer for life and when that happens enough you no longer have a business - I shouldn't have to explain that to such a "large" company.

I sent 2 of the best pictures that I could take with the only camera I have. Hisense responded to the email saying they weren't good enough pictures. I called customer service again and said I can't take any better pictures without a professional photographer. Supposedly, a supervisor will call me within 24-48 hours. Delaying tactics, obviously. I just bought the Hisense 43 inch 4k UHD smart TV at Best Buy yesterday. It is certainly an improvement to my 10 year old 1080p flat screen TV but not nearly as good a TV as say our Sony 43 inch 4k UHD smart TV in our living room. What I first noticed after getting it set up is that they don't offer all the apps that I am accustomed to. It's missing Hulu and some other mainstream apps. It does have Youtube, Vudu, Amazon however. It uses the Opera app, which I am not real fond of. Although the picture quality is decent, if you are looking at the TV straight on, colors look vibrant and bright, but if you walk from left to right side or up or down and not straight on at the TV those colors fade and the brightness fades a tad.
Our Sony doesn't do this, you get great picture quality no matter where you are situated looking at the TV. The price was definitely far less than LG and Insignia and Vizio. I paid 349.99 for it and the LG, Vizio and Insignia brands were 379 or higher for the same sized Smart 4k UHD TVs. If you're looking for a decent picture for a cheap price then I would recommend this TV. If you are looking for a more high end better quality TV that has more apps featured then you may want to go with something else.

However it took 2 and a half weeks for the tech to even come. He took apart my TV and said he could not fix it and that I would have to return it to Hisense. I then contacted customer service again and was told I would be shipped out a return box and label. That took another 2 weeks. I got the box and packed up my 55 inch TV and had to load it up myself and take it to UPS because Hisense would not pay the extra $10 to have it picked up at my home.
It took another week for Hisense to contact me and let me know they were sending me a brand new TV. When I get this NEW TV it is not the same size or quality of the original TV. But because I had to wait a month to get it I dealt with it. NOW, less than 2 months later this NEW TV has gone out. Nothing but a black screen. I AGAIN contacted customer service and was informed that we will be starting this same process all over again. I guess I will be waiting a month to get a TV that is going to work for 2 months again.
This is unacceptable and I do not recommend this company or brand of TV to anyone. The company has been very unprofessional in handling my situation and the many other reviews that I have read. This company is using cheap parts and labor to make products that do not last or perform to the other standards of product by other companies of the same magnitude. At this point I am very angry and pissed off that I will be waiting for them to send me a box to return a TV so they can look at it and see it's broke and then wait to send me a new one. The picture is as good as, if not better than, the $1500 Samsung UHD that I have in my living room, and I think I only paid about $550 for the Hisense. I would add that the sound is exponentially better than the Samsung --- I had to buy a sound bar for my Samsung because the sound was so bad. Great picture, great sound, great price --- all I want in a TV. AND the Hisense came with a four-year warranty (it is my understanding that the warranty is now only for 1 year). The 3-year extended warranty is only $69 at Walmart if you wish additional peace of mind. Even with the addition of the warranty, the price is much lower than for a similar name-brand TV. I bought the above TV from Harvey Norman Loganholme, Queensland. I purchased it for $600 and this included a 4 years extended warranty. This brought the total warranty to 7 years. I bought in late January 2017. Late May 2017 I was sitting on the sofa and started the TV with the remote. A white blotch appeared in the right hand corner. This blotch grew progressively bad until the whole right hand quadrant was black. Hisense sent their technician and he wrote 'crack' on his report. Hisense tell me crack means internal accident damage. They also said impact damage. Harvey Norman argued that they would not pay my money back. After a great deal of trouble and arguing, Harvey Norman told me I could have my extended warranty that they said was $60.00. The breakdown is not mentioned on the invoice.
I am now left with a TV which I did not damage or drop. I live alone and hence there is no other person to damage the TV. I went to fair trading and they say that Harvey Norman have not breached any laws. This means I am now $540 poorer because I bought a TV which I thought would give me service for at least 7 years. I have now to find a TV electrician to write a report that tells me what the cause is. There are no external marks on the TV. I believe that the change of weather may have been the cause of the early demise of the TV. Beware of this retailer and brand of TV. Looks like I have all this troublesome work now and they have earned some easy money. NOT VERY PLEASED! I agree that I am in Australia but the product is sold worldwide and I'm sure that a similar situation has occurred somewhere in the world. Please make contributions on similar defects as I have to now go to court to recover my money.

I explained to them the problem with the tv and I was told that they will have to send a technician to replace parts on the tv. This is only 2 months old tv and it already froze 5 times on me.
First, customer service is very poor. They scheduled the repair for me and I was told someone will call me 24-48 hours before the date scheduled, but no one call until I call Hisense customer service again. I was given a phone number for the technician so I can call him myself. Again very poor customer service. On a budget with a family it's hard to pay out a lot for entertainment alone. When I seen this t.v. with a 42 in screen for a little over $200.00 I was worried about the picture not being clear and the sound not being so clear. But I am happy to say it's been a great t.v. The sound and picture is great. I would recommend this t.v. to anyone that is on a budget with a family to raise. Thanks to Hisense. It's a real good t.v. for the price.

I purchased the Hisense H6 55 inch smart tv about ten I months ago from my local convenience store. My first mistake was that I went against my better judgement and purchased a tv from a company until that I had never heard of. Second, my bookkeeping was sloppy. I lost my receipt. Boy do I regret that now. Soon I started having issues adjusting the time and when I called customer service I could barely understand what the service person was saying. Eventually we resolved that issue. I bought this tv like I said about ten months ago. On or about month number five the picture would freeze up and I would have to unplug and replug the power cord. At this point I'm still somewhat satisfied with my purchase.
Here is the meat of my complaint with Hisense. I turn my tv on and there are several horizontal lines working their way up my picture screen. When I see this everything that I did wrong came to bear. My friend turns my tv on and now the lines start in the middle of the screen. I read several reviews and I notice that I wasn't the only one whose tv did this. All within a year of purchase. So I call customer service and I was told that the tv was damaged during shipping and that I need to take a lot of pictures of these lines along with my receipt which I don't have and they will send a tech support person to my house. No receipt, I'm screwed. One thing that bothers me is this, if the tv's are damaged during shipping why not recall them. Too much like the right thing to do.

Model H3c - This is the worst buy I have ever made and customer service is useless insisting the problem is my fault because I do not know how to use a television set. The automatic channel scan function as well as the tuner stopped picking up channels. I had the cable company check the line and it is good the problem is in the t.v. set. But customer service insist that cannot happen so they refused to help. Scan channel cannot pick up any channels but I input channels manually and some are tuned in but not all. I recommend that nobody ever buy from Hisense. I will also post my experience online for everyone to see.

I purchased a Hisense 50" HD TV in December of 2016. By January of 2017 the tv no longer works. Thank goodness it came with a 4 year warranty right? Well I will let you decide. I called Hisense and explained that my brand new tv stopped working, and two weeks later a tv repair tech shows up. The tech takes my tv apart and puts the new parts in, and it still does not work. Another phone call to Hisense and another two weeks the tv repair tech is back with a new part. And again the new part does not work. A third phone call to Hisense, and they want me to send the tv back to their warehouse in Georgia. A week later box shows up on my doorstep. I am now in the process of packing up the tv and sending it off to Georgia. At this point I really don't care if Hisense fixes it or gives me a new one.
Hisense is not a reliable product and they have very poor customer service. I suppose in a couple more weeks I will have a working tv, but then again I may not. I have given up on Hisense and their 4 year warranty, so I purchased a nice Samsung for $100 more than what I paid for the Hisense. When or if the Hisense returns a fully functioning tv I plan to sell it. Just not worth the headache to see if it works, or for how long. If you are interested in buying a HD Hisense tv with a 4 year warranty, I'll sell you one for great price!

This product is the worst. As soon as it was a year old a screen popped up wanting to update. Called customer support and they explained the TV missed the updates while it sat at the store, so now the updates blew the motherboard and nothing can be done. Would never waste money on a product that self-destructs like this. Never have bought such a terrible TV, and never will again.

I purchased my Hisense product about 8 months ago. A portion of the screen went out. I called in to customer service and explained in detail what was going on with my device. I was then advised to take a picture with the television on and visible at all angles. I was then informed that after I sent the picture I would receive instructions to send the television off for repair. I never received the instructions for product repair. After following up today I've been told my TV won't be repaired. The representative should have never stated my product would be fixed. This company makes promises they can't keep. I will never purchase another Hisense Product.

I have purchased a hisense led tv under 4 months ago, have lost the receipt and therefore have no warranty. Turned on the tv and had a horizontal line the whole way across. I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment so dropped it down. Never again hisense.

I bought a Hisense TV 9 months ago. I turned it on one day, and the screen had lines running across it. The customer service people were very nice, but it took close to a week for a reply, and then, only when I phoned in. After sending 4 different photos of the TV, I was told that it was caused by physical damage. That tv never moved from the spot that I placed it in after I bought it. It still has the plastic tape around the screen. To no avail... no response from them. I just am very disappointed and now without a TV. It took me a long time to save for it. They just didn't care, and for them to tell me it was caused by physical damage... from pictures??? Seriously? DO NOT BUY HISENSE TV's. They do not stand behind their product!!!

Super professional and friendly customer service. My TV screen was malfunctioning after moving homes there was black lines across the TV. This was 22 months after purchase and I will be honest that TV was on for at least 9 hrs a day everyday. After contacting Hisense customer service it took maybe about 10 minutes for them to set me all up with a shipping label for them to fix my TV. It took maybe 4 days for them to receive and 2 days after that for them to contact me in regards to my TV. Turns out LCD had been broken and they decided to ship me out a brand new tv same size and model which arrived one week later. That was super unexpected and I was really happy with the way they handled everything. I can honestly say I'll be a Hisense customer for as long as they stay in business.

Paid $550 for TV 3 yrs ago. Great everything. No problem ever. Today it went dark & died. I went thru all procedures to try to revive, but not successful. Viewed reviews on other sites, seems to be a common problem. Hisense considered cheap knock-off brand. Went to CES show in Vegas 2013, Hisense rated #1 TV in rest of world 9 yrs running. 2013 first yr in USA, reason I bought. Now out of warranty. Probably won't repair. Big bucks down the drain. Good luck to all other Hisense TV owners.

Less expensive unknown brand. Bought on Black Friday 4 years ago, on Walmart.com. I had concerns at first as never heard of this brand and barely any reviews. Easy to program and use. I'm a novice at this. Have had no problems, great TV, great color, sound, lightweight. It's a shame this brand of TV is hard to find now.

Well I got this TV last year during Black Friday and it was on sale at Walmart for $88, its a 32 inch Hisense TV. Is great other than it has a problem of having blotches of white in black. You can see it if you have it on the screen, it's blank you can see the block of the Y in the boxes where its black. That's the only thing I don't really like about it.

Hisense 50G bought from Walmart and company warranty for 36 months. This 50" model has Wi-Fi so its a Smart TV and its UHD 4K. It is my 3rd Hisense and we will see what reliability is like good value at $550. Poor sound off access viewing not very good but it was inexpensive.
