Tv quit working so I called the company, I had to send many pictures of the tv which they received then they wanted a picture of the serial number scratch off so I did that but after seeing all other pictures they somehow can’t open that one. Horrible customer service, 5 weeks in and am finally going to give up, this is the goal of the company is to drag it on until you give up. Never buy another one of these tvs or any other one that this company is affiliated with. If I could rate it less than 1 star, I would.

I will start by saying this company does not stand by their products. I should have definitely read the reviews before purchasing the TV. I bought a 55 inch TV on Black Friday for my 80 year old mother. She saved her money all year for this TV and she was so happy when we found the deal at Walmart within her budget. We got the TV home and removed from the box which was packed perfectly. Unfortunately when the cable was hooked up the TV had lines in the middle and on right hand side.
Walmart wouldn't take TV back because we didn't have the box. So when we called Hisense they proceeded to tell us the TV was damaged and they couldn't do anything about it. The TV was obviously damaged when it was packaged because it was packed perfectly in the box. The company had no solution and said it's not their problem. So now my elderly mother is out her money and the company really doesn't care. Lesson learned. Never buy this brand again. It's just heart wrenching.

I just got off the phone with one of Hisense service reps. In all that time, she just asked questions about the tv and what I wanted to hook up and could not help at all. It was obvious she did not know what an AV port or AV cable was. When asked if Hisense does not have service technicians that could offer real help, she replied that, "Even if we did, they would tell you the same thing I am telling you". From that point on she continued asking me what I wanted to hook up and if there wasn't something else I could hook it up to instead of this tv. When I told her NO, I want this equipment hooked up to my NEW tv the same way it was on the tv I had she said then I would have to try to find new cables or something.
Nearly ½ hr talking until I was blue in the face repeating myself, sending photos she requested, and telling her NO I would not hook my equipment up to something besides my HISENSE SMART TV she offered absolutely no info that was helpful! As a reminder, this all came about because there is NOT an AV port on this television even though a lot of videos on YouTube tell people to just plug THIS CABLE into THESE PORTS while showing RCA ports hooked up to a port on the tv labeled AV. If there is anyone at hisense that knows what an av port is and knows of a work-around to plug an av cable into this tv, please send a reply to this e-mail! If I do not get a reply rapidly, this tv will probably have to be returned to the store for a refund!
Bob
P.S. I hope businesses learn very quickly that trying to go by CYBER MONDAY and get all orders on-line just create a lot of unnecessary frustration and miscommunication since the consumer has to rely on on-line descriptions and does not have the option to see the actual product in the store!

This company offers absolutely no customer service. Very bad make! You can register the products, that's it! They don't respond to your enquiries. I attempted five times, now I abandon. My options? Return the product and buy something else. Save yourself the efforts, just don't buy from them!

Updated on 12/11/2025: This is a continuation of an on-going dispute with Hisense (LACK OF) Customer Service. If you look at this description of Hisense Google Tv ports on back panel with a Google search of "hisense google tv ports on back panel" the description will tell you "back panel of Hisense Google TVs typically includes a variety of ports and connectors, such as HDMI, AV composite, optical audio, and USB ports. These ports allow users to connect various devices, including streaming devices, gaming consoles, and sound systems."
THAT IS ALL CONSUMERS HAVE TO HELP MAKE A PURCHASE WHEN ADVERTISERS LIKE YOU GO ENTIRELY TO ONLINE SHOPPING. I have to admit that there is a disclaimer further into the description saying "The specific ports and their functions may vary depending on the model of the TV." but, then again, the description goes on to say "For example, HDMI ports are used for connecting devices like gaming consoles and streaming devices, while AV composite ports are used for connecting devices like DVD players."
As you can see, the only descriptions available to consumers are on the internet and the consumer does not have the tv in a store so they can read the box labels or open the box to see the back panel. Is it your policy and stance that it is the consumer's fault that you will not allow the tv to be seen before a purchase so, CAVEAT EMPTOR, BUYER BEWARE is your customer service resort?
Apparently, you do not have any service technicians that do not know about any possible patches such as additional cables or anything that will make the AV cable adaptable to your tv. In that case, as already stated, I have the original 90 days to return this unit if I cannot find a decent source of recommendation about such electrical questions and, the store had advertised EXTENDED returns during the holiday season so, We'll see!
Original Review: ALL of your set up info is WORTHLESS. Page 1. What's in the box: IMPORTANT SAFETY INFO AND WARRANTY CARD. NOT INCLUDED. Page 4. Connect devices: NO ADVICE AT ALL FOR CONNECTIONS AND THERE IS NO AV INTERFACE! Page 4 continued: When tv is in standby, quick press for power on. The quick press for MENU. DID NOT WORK! IT TURNED TV ON AND THEN OFF, NO,MENU!
Page 6. Pair remote. After turning tv on for first time there will be instructions to pair remote. Wrong! No such pairing instructions. Page 7. We are on page 7 before it even says plug into power outlet and tv will display a launch screen! Who wrote these instructions? They should be terminated. You should mail, at no cost to me, necessary connections to fix the no av interface problem. Your own website says Hisense tv does have the av terminal!

DO NOT SHOP WITH HISENSE!!!! Their products are EXTREMELY badly made, and you’ll most likely be sent something that is faulty or not fit for purpose (or both). When you try and contact them for assistance - and to use your guarantee - they will point-blank ignore you. I’ve tried messaging and emailing for over two weeks now and they are simply refusing to communicate. Not one single email or message back.
It’s not worth the hassle of dealing with a company like this when the majority of their products are terrible. You’re just going to be left ignored with a crappy product that doesn’t work and no response from their ‘customer services’ that clearly doesn’t even exist. I’m going to share this feedback as far and wide as I can on as many different platforms, because it’s not acceptable to just ignore your customers. Unethical, unprofessional, unlawful. Don’t give them your money.

Don’t ever buy a Hisense TV. Son bought one in skimpy and after 3 months stopped working. Customer service said it was accidental damage and wouldn’t cover it. They supposedly have a 1 year warranty. I think this a standard answer their customer service gives to get out of their warranty. I have read many Hisense reviews that had customer stating the same problem. My question is how can a TV work for 3 months and then stop working. This is defect with the TV and not accidental. What’s is going to take for Hisense to stand behind their product and either reimburse or replace these defective TV. Maybe a total barrage on social media might be the answer. Would give Hisense zero stars if was possible.

I haven't had this over 3 years and it take 30 minutes to turn it on. You have to keep turning it on and once you get it on it's updating. I'm buying me another brand because this definitely not it. I might as well use jumper cables to get it on.

Purchase a 55A6HX model LED TV. With no contact whatsoever, lines started appearing within just months of the using the TV. Emailed warranty and they immediately said it was physical damage. Took closer photos and discovered a black dot on the screen which was emitting heat. Online research shows that as internal failure and not physical damage. Called their customer line and the guy kept talking over me and just repeated it is physical damage and nothing they can do. Asked to speak to someone else and he said there is no one else. Will never buy Hisense again. I hope they go out of business.

We bought the 55 inch in late Nov 2022 from an Electronic store. The colour none of us ever agreed was right. Now we all agree the colour on the TV is blue. Yes, we have one colour - Blue. In Feb 2025 we wrote the company and asked for advice. The response: Your warranty has expired. The TV will cost more to fix vs buying new. This TV's colour starts to break down almost immediately. Never again, we paid $1200 for this thing and now, dump hear we come.

We purchased two Hisense chest freezers from Costco to replace the ones we lost in Hurricane Helene. Less than nine months later, one of them completely died. I thought the 2-year warranty would cover it—turns out, Hisense’s “warranty” is meaningless. My experience seems identical to so many others: the company drags customers through endless hoops instead of honoring their word. My first contact with them resulted in a text and email outlining all the steps I’d need to complete for a refund or exchange. They promised a reply within 24 hours, but three days later I had heard nothing. When I called, they claimed they never received my email—even though I had the auto-response showing they did. Suddenly, after I pushed back, the rep “found” it and said everything looked good, and that I’d hear back in 24 hours. Of course, nothing happened.
When I called again two days later, they said my form was invalid because I had listed two email addresses and I needed to resubmit everything. After I understandably lost my patience, they added yet another demand: photos of the cut power cord. Clearly, this is designed to wear customers down until they give up. Bottom line: Hisense makes unreliable products, hides behind a sham warranty process, and wastes their customers’ time. I will never buy from this company again. And frankly, I’m disappointed Costco continues to sell such a brand—it makes me question their commitment to quality as well.

Horrible customer service. TV had an issue out of the box. Registered the product. Tried to submit a claim by going to the website. No way to file a warranty claim on the website. Sent an email explaining the problem. In the email included serial number, model number, date purchased, where purchased, etc. Got a response with an incident number that asked for the exact same information in the registration and original email. Tried calling the number they provide. No way to go directly to start a warranty claim. Went through all of the AI generated troubleshooting only to get to a live person that asked for the same information I provided in the registration and email, which should also have been in the incident number. Do not purchase anything with the HiSense name on it. No idea what the actual quality of their products are but if you have an issue with it, you will absolutely hate their customer support.

I purchased a 75in Hisense TV 01/07/2021. This unit was manufactured 11/02/2020. It was in storage 01/13/2023 to 08/18/2023. As of 09/04/2025, the unit is inoperable, the back light went out. So, as you can see, I didn’t get much use out of it. The warranty expired 01/2025, so I’m stuck with a piece of junk. I purchased a 70-inch for my bedroom. Let’s see how long this one lasts. I’ve had my 55-inch Samsung for 12 years with no problem. Way to go, Samsung. Never will I purchase another Hisense. Very disappointed.

I bought a 100” tv. 6 months later a thin, white line appeared across the middle of the screen. I called the warranty center which is a joke. I emailed them everything they wanted, just kept getting the same response and not getting anywhere. Finally a month later they sent a tech to look at it. He didn’t do anything but take a screwdriver to the whole screen then said that I would have a new one in a couple days and they would take the old one and install the new one. Well another month has gone and still no TV. They also said that they won’t pick up the old tv.

Let's see, had large TV 6 months and it died. Contacted Hisense USA. I did exactly what they asked for warranty claim. After prodding and pulling them finally 2 months later I got a new tv. Was not easy. I looked at my phone, called them 18 times or more over 45 days, they kept "escalating" to somebody who told me exactly the same thing (which was shifting blame to technicians that they hired! Who never showed up at my house to try to fix the tv). Then after one tech finally came, they said another must come out to destroy the tv since it couldn't be fixed. And that one took 2 weeks and then still didn't show, then finally after over a month Hisense said they would send me a new tv, which took another 3 weeks including shipping. So 2 months with me having to call every other day when the thing they said they would do never happened.
I gave them 2 stars because at least finally they sent me one and also I've heard that most other TV companies are like this. So really, you will most likely be without a TV for over a month but if you don't stay on them, which is in itself a part time job including being at home for appointments techs make and don't always show up for which costs money and time.
My advice is to purchase a cheap tv for the 2 months you will be without a TV and just keep on them. Don't assume they will call you when they say, don't assume the techs they hire will come to your house, so don't cancel any of your appointments, or go out of your way. The point here is even AFTER they knew my TV was not fixable by the word of a technician they hired, it still took them almost another month and a half to get me a new TV. Unacceptable and if they would've told me this was par for the course I would've maybe bought a better warranty or went with another brand. At least I could've went in with my eyes open.

I would not recommend purchasing a TV from this company based on my experience with both the product quality and their customer service. The TV we purchased began having issues in less than a year, and although there was no visible damage, the company claimed it was due to a crack and denied any warranty support. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue over the course of a month, including multiple follow-ups, we received no meaningful assistance. Communication was poor—they rarely returned calls and often redirected us without offering real solutions. I've previously had positive experiences with brands like Samsung, but trying Hisense for the first time was a regrettable decision. Honestly this company deserves zero stars!

This review is for Hisense 85” 4K tv. If I could leave zero stars I would. If I could leave zero stars I would. To start we purchased the 85” hisense tv at wal mart just after Black Friday last year, the tv was less than 3 months old when the volume started rapidly turning itself up on its own, I wasn’t too concerned with that and just would turn it down, then not long after the right side of the screen went darker than the left, very aggravating to watch on at that point and contacted “HISENSE” took a couple months before they finally replied.
They ask for the model and serial number, purchase date, the store location, the store purchased from and price we paid. We provided all of that and then they said we need the receipt showing we purchased the TV, being 5-6 months at the time that receipt was long gone, they faded away to a blank paper after so long, but I gave them pictures of the day we bought it, pictures of it in my truck, pictures of it in my living room, pictures of it installed on the wall. Went back and got the bank statement where it shows I purchased the tv with the dates, price and store. They responded with simply “NEED RECEIPT OR WE CAN'T HELP YOU.”
Kinda lost at this point, don’t wanna spend the money again on another “BETTER BRAND UNIT” this time after just paying good enough money for this one and the one in my bedroom. How do companies get away with outright theft? Does lemon law apply to junk TVs? I have other of their products but will never purchase another, and all my friends and family are on board also. I like to give these companies time and the benefit of doubt but after all these months and no help, stop replying and down right now ”YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK” from them has really left me no choice but to come here and leave this review. It’s gonna go everywhere I can possibly leave it, theft is theft, sure I willingly paid for the product, and got said product, but may as well be selling people empty boxes at this point. Be a lot easier to throw in the trash at least.
