I used Hubble Contacts for a few years and thought they got the job done well enough. In 2020, I requested to cancel my subscription. I was told by Marcus, that canceling my subscription was only possible via phone call. I worked during all available hours and insisted that my subscription be canceled. Marcus ignored my repeated request. I switched banks shortly after and let my payment method expire. I received emails much later that stated Hubble would not process any upcoming orders unless I verified my address and updated my payment method. I declined to do so because I did not wish to continue my subscription, which I made clear to Marcus.
Years go by, I don’t receive any more contact lenses. At some point, I must have updated my payment information (which I highly doubt, but assume I must have done so across all of my accounts without thinking about it). Randomly, two boxes of lenses are delivered to me. Confused, I comb through statements and come across five payments to Hubble in the last ten or so months. They had been charging my updated payment method, not delivering lenses until these two boxes, and doing so after confirming via many emails no orders would be processed until I verified my address. I emailed them and requested refunds for the multiple charges and the lenses delivered to me AND ASKED AGAIN TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION. They refund the undelivered lenses after way too many emails and then send me labels to ship back the lenses delivered.
I ran out of time and the labels they sent expired. I let it go, thinking that that was the end of it. Dumb of me to not confirm that they canceled my subscription! Another box and another charge show up today. Finally went in and thank god the account portal has changed and I could just cancel myself. Truly horrendous customer service, and not because the people are rude or bad at their jobs, but truly I believe they are trained to ignore requests to cancel and/or make it harder for customers to cancel. I hate this company and their lenses are just mediocre enough that I still wear them in an emergency, but would absolutely never recommend them.

I've cancelled my subscription back in July 2023; however, recently I received the monthly charge subscription on my credit card account. I reached out to them about it and they insisted that my subscription is still active. I requested in the email for them to ensure that I won't receive another charge and they still insisted that my subscription is still active and did not address my request to make sure I won't be charge. I had to send them my email confirmation of my cancelled subscription. They sent me a returned label request so I can return the contacts that they sent me but this is a waste of time for me. They shouldn't have charged me in the first place.

I’ve been getting these garbage contacts for years. My eyes became very irritated so I stopped wearing them as often and voila, it resolved. I tried canceling them online, that didn’t work. I tried emailing them to cancel, that didn’t work. So I froze my credit card. The. Charge. Still. Went. Through. So I disputed it with my cc company. Guess what? Hubble fought it. Bruh, you need $40 that badly, huh?
I wrote a review on Trustpilot. They reached out and told me to return my contacts “in the original shipping box”. Bruh. That was months ago. I’m happy to return your toxic plastic contacts but the original shipping box is nowhere in sight. In fact, It’d be my pleasure to return a collection of 12 boxes or so that I’ve gotten that I don’t want. They are harmful to eye health and no one should be wearing them. Toll;dr— Hubble, who hurt you? If you need my $40 that badly, I guess you can have it. But a GoFundMe would be more efficient for what y’all are trying to accomplish. You want handouts. Not customers.

I was using their service for years, I loved that it was just delivered to my house. I also loved how cheap they were. They went up in prices maybe 6 months ago. I thought it was expensive for the low-quality contacts, but the convenience was still a win for me. I got a two charges for $102.99 on the same day. When I called to figure out what was going on with that, I was put on hold most of my 46-minute conversation. They said they would refund me one of those because that was their mistake, but somehow my order change from $44 to 102.99 without my consent. I asked if they could take that off and switch to my normal subscription, they told me no. I don’t understand how that is legal and I am not a customer there any longer since they feel like they can charge people whatever they want whenever they feel like it without consent.

I canceled my subscription many months ago. Out of nowhere my bank account was charged $39.00 in July. I have reached out to customer service to explain that I did not authorize the charge or receive the product with no response. The address on file was also changed to a nonexistent address and I did not change it.

Horrible. They charged me 10 days before the 28 day after they charged me $1 for first box, they sent the email that they were going to charge me right after they charged me the same day, I was able to get into my account or change to a new password. It just kept asking me for my email & password (I know the information) so I called. They stated someone changed my pmt date … lies … asked for a supervisor. They were “on another call“… lies. So they were to call me back when they were done with that call … lies. They never called. You can not unsubscribe. They won’t let yoû. And they changed my login so I couldn’t log in to unsubscribe, and don’t come trying to respond to me because I call several times to have (Cindy) this resolved. And stop sending me the same links that I can’t log in/change my password/ cancel my subscription. Ladies don’t do it.

The worst possible experience. I use Hubble to receive my contacts monthly, without contacts I can't see my hand in front of my face. Regular contacts aren't covered by insurance so I thought I'd try this "cheap" service Hubble. I stuck with them for almost a year despite them having issues with billing (like being charged twice in a month), quality (I've had contacts that burn, are dirty, are blurry etc), and with shipping (delayed shipping so I'm going without).
Most recently they were late getting my monthly box sent out so I was without contacts. I don't have a backup option so when I saw my shipment not going out in time I decided to wear my daily lenses for 2-3 days before tossing. This bought me 8 days, well now the package is lost (not their fault), but when I went to customer service for help, I was SHOCKED at how rude the rep was.
She would take anywhere from 10-30 minutes to respond to me. When she did she was incredibly rude. She did offer to send a replacement box but when I asked for quick shipping she said she couldn't do that because Hubble has "issues" with expedited shipping? I have no idea if she ended up sending a replacement because she just stopped responding to me and didn't even close the chat out so I couldn't open a new one with someone else. Absolutely canceling and my mom and best friend have already canceled. Save your money and go somewhere reliable.

I have used Hubble subscription contact lens service for many years without any issues. However, this past year, I have had multiple issues with their customer service providing the wrong information or not following through despite sending a confirmation email. The breakdown in communication has caused me to be without the correct contact lenses which is disruptive so I have cancelled my subscription.

I created an order many months ago, and as soon as I tried my contacts, I decided to cancel my subscription. My eyes were extremely dry and irritated, and the contacts did not fit on my eyes. I called to cancel my subscription, since this is the only way to do so, and the lady on the phone talked me into putting my subscription on hold. I did not want to do this, I just wanted my account canceled but this did not happen. I checked my online banking today and was charged $128 and I was unsure why, so I called my bank and they told me it was an automated payment from Hubble. I was shocked and confused.
I called and the lady told me her hands were tied. She would only refund me when the product gets all the way to me in Canada (took weeks the first time) and then when the item return is processed. Unfortunately, I am what you would call a "starving student" and do not have the time or money to wait 4-6 weeks to get that money back... but her hands are tied. I am mostly just sad at this experience. I feel like I got scammed. I received absolutely 0 notification that my account was reactivated and she informed me that it shows proof of reactivation on my account... but it is the account that I THOUGHT I deleted. On top of it all she said I will not be refunded for shipping, handling, or international fees. I just wish they cared a little bit more because now I am down my grocery money for the month. Thanks.

Updated on 10/07/2022: So Cristy reached out and assured me she would resolve the issue. Obviously choosing to not read my original 1 star review I posted here as it clearly explains the issue at hand. So she robotically repeats the script of being passive aggressive and deflecting taking responsibility of resolving the issue. The link won’t work because of HUBBLE being passive aggressive idiots by deactivating my account before sending me the link to take their eye exam. They know this… I will continue blasting how ** their customer service is.. Read the one star review I originally posted as well as the email threads in your customer service department. What a bunch of idiots!
Original: I received an email randomly from Hubble about how we will be canceling your prescription if we don’t hear from you. I have been a customer for 5 years. I have provided them the same prescription for 5 years. Same eyes, same Dr. The Dr activated my account and they told me I need to take their mandatory eye exam with their link they provided. All of a sudden the prescription I have been providing is not compatible with HUBBLE they said?? Funny because I have email threads from last year of them approving it. So because a passive aggressive idiot deactivated my account before they sent me the link it won’t work. I have been going back and forth with their customer service and they will not take accountability of their mess they created. I just want my contacts. They are not fixing their error and admitting to their mistake. Horrible customer service.

When I purchased my first one a day pair of contacts I couldn’t believe that they were only a dollar. Yes you heard me right a DOLLAR. I was like is this legit? So I called just make sure and it was! Anyhow, I just received my third set of contacts about a month ago and I really like them. They’re very comfortable, reusable and my eyes don’t dry up. Never thought that I’d like the one a day contacts and boy was I mistaken. Will definitely purchase more in the future!*

I wore Hubble contacts for about a year. At first I thought they were great because of how inexpensive they were, the quality wasn't a concern so much - I would just change the contacts halfway through the day. They never made it a full day. Then, a few months ago, my eyes started feeling irritated and particularly my left eye seemed to always want to get the contact out of the eye. I went to the eye doctor and discovered cornea irritation as well as growth in blood vessels around the top of both eyes which is a result of contact irritation and can worsen over time. I have to wear glasses until my eyes heal.
The eye doctor explained that while the price is great, the Hubble contact structure works because they repurpose expired lenses that are outdated technology and don't have enough breathability for the eye. This was not a sales pitch, and he was not pushing me to order anything through them because he understood my interest in price savings - he just wanted to stress how dangerous this product is to your eyes. I've experienced it first hand. The price is NOT worth the damage.

I tried Hubble contacts about three years ago for the first time. I requested the trial pack, and it took weeks and weeks to get to me. I was already charged for the full subscription pack before I had even received and tried my trial product. I sent a customer service email and they said it must have been stuck in the mail and they were going to process a replacement trial pack. I explained that this doesn't help the subscription I was charged for when the point of the trial is to actually try the product. I did acknowledge the "fine print" that I am signing up for the charge when making the account for the trial, but I really didn't think the trial would be "lost" or whatever.
The business model doesn't make sense, if you read other reviews, people are almost always charged before they were even getting a chance to try anything. I pointed out that the subscription pack hadn't even been shipped out yet, surely it can be stopped and I can be refunded. They told me it was too late and they already processed a free replacement for my trial pack. I stated I would prefer then to cancel, I don't even know if I like the product. They just gave me a phone number. I spent a lot of time back and forth in emails trying to get it sorted, if I recall correctly I just ate the cost and used the one month subscription package and did get to cancel. But it wasn't simple, I can't cancel on my end on my own.
I did like the contacts themselves, so this year I decided to give them a second chance. I received the trial pack and the box was wide open and completely empty. It did not appear upon inspection like it "fell" open by accident during shipping or it was opened by customs or it got ripped up somehow. The closing mechanism on their small boxes was just never even closed. Even if it was improperly sealed before being sent or they sent an empty box, neither are nice options to imagine.
I complained about this but said, whatever, it is too late and I do want my contacts, I was again already charged a hefty amount for the three month subscription because I didn't want to be shipped for one month's worth and receive it so late, just in time to be charged again. I waited about three weeks and the only information I can view or had received was a receipt informing me of the charge. The website does not show tracking link or shipping date. I have no further information.
I'm curious why this is or where my contacts are at this point and contact customer service. They just send me screenshots of their website saying the Track button is right there. I send them back pictures of my screen. They did offer to let their IT know there may be an unknown issue, so if they do this, that's great. But it would be so much better to get a shipped email with tracking. Turns out the package is missing now, anyway, even though it somehow shows delivered. I'm so done with this company and it's so frustrating because they are affordable and I do like them. But I can't afford to give away hundreds of dollars to only hope I ever see a product.

I tried Hubble and they always caused me horrible eye irritation. Constantly like sand in my eyes, redness, watering, and occasionally discharge from my right eye. Never will I buy this again. Definitely not worth it.

They make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel your subscription. I’ve had to throw away many packs of contact lenses as I refuse to wear them because they irritate my eyes. Also found out they use old technology that is extremely damaging to your eyes. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

I signed up for the $1 trial box just before Christmas of 2021 and to this day I have yet to receive it. It is currently March 25, 2022. What makes it worse is that they billed and charged for a quarters supply BEFORE I had even received the trial box to make my decision on whether or not I was going to continue with them. My mail service has not seen any parcels for me from Hubble, and time and time again over the last three months they have said that, "Give it some time. It might just be delayed" and "So sorry to hear your experience hasn't been great, I've gotten another shipment sent out to you at no cost". Over THREE MONTHS and still not a single pair of contacts from them let alone my money that they took.
Yes I did my research and made an informed decision to try them, hence why I signed up for the $1 trial box. The real funny thing is if they are coming from the New York area I truly should have received them well within the 16 days before being charged for the quarter supply as my cousin who lives in New York sent his Christmas card to me on December 22 and I received that December 27. If one was able to rate a "0" of "5" stars that would be a better rating than the "1" given.

A week after I got my trial I was charged 44 dollars out of nowhere!! They were very rude and told me that even though they haven’t shipped yet there would be no refund and they don’t take returns is what they told me over the phone. Stay away. These contacts are cheap and they feel like it!!!

I got the trial and the products were okay... After a month they automatically started me on a subscription and started charging me $44 per package which I received none of. I spoke with their customer support and they said I have to pay to get another package delivered which I disagreed with but after all I ended up agreeing to getting another package. Meanwhile, their customer service never processed this. I followed up again and they said it has been shipped but unfortunately they lied again. I followed up with their customer service again and they repeated the same thing again. Literally the worst customer support. Do yourself a favor and get something else!

Ordered these contacts for my daughter. and they were good at the beginning. There was always at least 1 contact with a jagged edge or crack in every box and sometimes they were cloudy. The quality got worse and it was always so difficult to get in touch with someone from Customer service - always a hassle to get a replacement. When I sent notice that we wanted to stop the subscription they kept sending boxes and charging me. When I did finally get someone who was able to confirm cancellation - it took weeks - they refused to accept the contacts back and refund my money for the extra boxes sent. Poor quality and very poor customer service.

Very easy to get setup. Prescription validation was fast, free 30 day trial made the decision to subscribe easy. Contacts arrive on a timely schedule and always before there is a chance of running out.

I had been using Hubble for years. After trying to cancel (and being asked WHY several times), I finally got them to cancel my subscription. However, I was told the pending order charge on my card was non-refundable and I was SOL (keep in mind this is a same-day charge). I have never had a company not willing to work with me on canceling and refunding an order that was not even processed yet and I don't even have the option to return the contacts so they will be sadly going to waste. It is a shame a company would rather make a profit (of $39 mind you), than help out a former customer. Again, support was zero help and I am glad I canceled. I have never had these issues with competitors (aka Waldo who has a return policy).

I love these contacts! I hated the idea of going to the eye doctor and getting contacts. Hubble makes it so easy to just order from your phone and they arrive within weeks. This they're so easy on the eyes and work so well. I've been using them for a few months now and I'll never go back to glasses.

I’ve been using Hubble for about a year now, I started wearing contact lenses during the pandemic. Glasses… masks… fog... If you wear glasses you understand. So I didn’t want anything permanent because I didn’t know if I’d like the contacts or even be comfortable wearing them. It was really easy to get my prescription submitted and set a schedule to get my contacts. Especially because I don’t wear them every day I was able to get them every three months. Any time I had a question or concern I’d get an email back the exact same day. This is just one little thing in my life that makes things easier. I’m super thankful.

I’m being a loyal customer for the second year already. I received a notice that there is a problem with my order, I need to update my prescription. Hubble offered an online test. I follow all links and got it updated. How big was my surprise when I received +2.5 and -3 instead -2.5 and -3. When I was trying to reach customer service it looks like they don’t really care about it. Hubble said, "Oh it’s not us, it’s the prescription company." And DIDN’T OFFERED ANY HELP OR SOLUTION. By the way when they sent links you can’t really tell if it’s some different company, everything had Hubble logo.
Prescription company Visibly said, "Oh, ok, send us your old prescription will fix that." I asked about a refund. Visibly said it’s not their business, write to Hubble. I wrote to Hubble again. Tons of wasted time and energy. And after it’s a complete nonsense. They offered me a right box after 2 weeks of me trying to solve problem!!!! I said I don’t need a box just give me a refund. They disappeared. I wish I could attach the conversation with customer service. They said they can’t refund because it’s a right prescription on file. So disappointing that I have to spend so much time to get $40 More back and right schedule for my contacts.

The quality of the lenses are good but after 6-7 hours of use I'm starting to have issues with my sensitive eyes. I think it would be great if they do a version for sensitive eyes with a silicone base, for instance. But the quality is better than other similar brands on the market. It's good that you can skip one more or two for the subscription if you need to, but it's not good that you actually need to call them in order to cancel your subscription. We are in the digital era please! Overall I am happy with the service. I am posting this review as part of a promotion where I will receive a benefit in exchange for my honest review.

This company does not do refunds- even for totally unopened boxes (box was shipped in). They make it very hard to cancel your subscription. My eye doctor told me these contacts are very bad for your eyes. They can sell them somewhat cheaply because they are using very old technology. Also- Hubble DOES NOT let you leave a review on their website. All their “example” reviews are 5 stars. I wish I would have paid more attention to this before signing up. I did get the $1 box and the paid for 1 more month before I found out how bad they are for your eyes.

These contacts caused so much discomfort. If you have sensitive eyes these are NOT the contacts for you. I've finally cancelled my subscription after a month of trying to contact them via their phone number. They continued to charge my card. When I finally got ahold of them, they told me "we can not accept any returns" and now I will be throwing away 4 boxes of contacts that I will never wear. The biggest waste of money. If I could rate this company a 0 out of 5 stars I would! Please save your time and money.

Decided to try online order for trial run of a specific brand and fit. Immediately received notice of auto ship and firm refused to permit one time order yet charged my credit card and didn’t offer to adjust or stop payment even though the order and request to cancel occurred within minutes of initial contact. Very unimpressed and feel deceived and scammed. Now the burden to void falls to the new customer. They need to take some sort of customer service training and offer assistance not roadblocks.

This is the craziest shopping experience I've ever had. I ordered contacts, everything seemed fine. Then I received a charge for $123 (my initial purchase was about $80). I'd been enrolled into a subscription for contacts that weren't even my prescription, and they were on the way. I reached out to them asking why they'd been sent to me, why I'd been charged, and when I would receive a refund.
They told me to send the contacts back, and they'd send a return label. They never sent a return label. I've followed up three times. So that's $123 I'm out for a product I can't even use, didn't order, and don't need. They won't do anything about it. I'm also auto-enrolled for this prescription that isn't mine and can't have been verified with my doctor.
Then, I received the contacts that I'd actually ordered. I only received one eye's worth of contacts. I reached out to them again with photos and evidence, and they refuse to acknowledge that anything is wrong. They refuse to send me the other contacts! So that's another $86 I'm out. THEN, there was a random charge for $56. For absolutely nothing. They did refund that charge, but only after I reached out. So I've been charged a total of $259 dollars, and I have zero contacts I can use. And they refuse to refund a dime.

The contacts are fine. They're not amazing, but they're fine and they're affordable. The customer service on the other hand, has a very "sorry, too bad for you," attitude and does very little to try and help you. Head's up: they have a "no return" policy, which means if you or they make a mistake, you will always foot the bill. I received no response via email. Their website is Yes, I used a different email than my account was linked to, but good customer service would have replied anyway. When I called to cancel my subscription, the customer service rep wouldn't take "no," for an answer until I asked REPEATEDLY - wasting time and trying my patience. Hoping my subscription is ACTUALLY cancelled and I don't get a surprise charge next month.
