After the warranty ran out they told me that I needed to have replaced the speaker every year. $90 for speaker.

I have a resound hearing aid for about 6 months and have been back to supplier and estimate 10 times. First of all I there with the ear mold, which ended up with using the old ear mold from previous hearing aid. I been going to this provider for estimate 20 years. All of the other hearing aids where Phonak hearing aid. I never had a problem with them. The use of Resounds units was under advise of provider. I am going back on 7/21/2015, because the background noise is terrible. I had to switch back to old hearing aid, which is a Phonak. The hearing aid was changed out once, from one model to another.

While the high cost of the initial hearing aid may by justified, the policy of dealing with lost hearing aids is completely avaricious. After the loss on one hearing aid which costs $400 to replace (probably the wholesale price), the cost if it is again lost is the full $3,500. Only greed can justify not giving you replacement hearing aids at wholesale. I cannot understand this policy of again charging for what you have already paid for. My audiologist said "Well, I have to program it again", a job that takes at most 10 minutes. I went ahead and paid for the replacement because I would otherwise lose the 7K I had already invested. But, given the choice, I would never have made the original purchase.

I love the phone app for the flexibility to be able to control and customize my own hearing aids. It took a few days to adjust to it all but worth it. I also had to switch to the smaller ear buds for comfortable wearing. The batteries will drain quickly when I am streaming. I use the phone a lot and I also listen to audiobooks via the Bluetooth pairing with my phone. I will be ordering the clip on phone mic soon so I don't have to hold the phone up to use the phone's mic while I am talking on the phone. I am like a kid in a candy store with these new resound hearing aids!

I like my hearing aids but my remote control and mini mic are garbage. They do not work as advertised. The mini mic only works if you are less than 10 feet from it. The clip on the remote breaks off very easily. The button to answer the phone on the remote does not work every time it is pushed. I returned four remotes before one worked properly. Each time I sent one ReSound would write that I had damaged the equipment even when I sent one back within three days because it did not work from day one. Sent in my left hearing Aid because the program button did not work and there was static and it. When it was returned the button won't work but there was still static in the hearing aid. I told my audiologist that they did not run all the diagnostics on the hearing Aid. The audiologist did not believe me.

After the warranty period of my remote, I sent one back with the clip broken off, it would not charge and the cover that goes on the bottom of it was missing. ReSound sent that very same remote back to me just like it had been sent to them. ReSound had obviously not even looked at it or run any diagnostics on it. And they still wanted to charge me $345. Bottom line is that their service is horrible. It's obvious that they really don't care. Don't buy ReSound.

Won't connect. Called for help. No return call. Never been so disappointed in a product. Have been wearing aids for over 6 years. Wish I would have never bought them. They don't work like I was told. Over priced for as poor as they work.
