I've had no problems with Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids. The staff seems to be very friendly and concerned about their patients so I've had excellent service and very fortunate to have these people working for me. I've been very very pleased.

I have a Miracle-Ear hearing and it's a very good feeling that I can hear. The only problem with the device is that things get real loud and I don't know whether it's my ears. Also, every once in a while it shuts down too. But other than that, I wouldn't take nothing for it. I would very, very much recommend Miracle-Ear.

My life before Miracle Ear was asking people to repeat themselves several times and if I still didn’t hear by the 3rd or 4th time I would just say “oh ok” or “yeah”. If someone was not looking directly at me, standing more than 3-5 feet away or walking away from me while they were speaking their words would get garbled and they would start to sound like the adults from Peanuts. As a server being able to hear is a big part of my job. Those who sat in my section always got the best service though. I would have to go around the table and be right next to the guest as they ordered. And I could forget about talking on the phone. No matter how high I had the volume it is never enough. I have to go to another room alone to even hear half of what is being said to me. I can’t have a conversation in a car without feeling as though I have to sit on the lap of whoever is talking.
I don’t even remember how long it has been since I have heard the sound of birds chirping. However, the worst feeling on the planet was when I could not understand my own children. I am a mother of 3, ages 7, 6, and 2. My 6 and 7-year-old both speak in very quiet voices, almost mouse-like, and when they feel as though they are in trouble their voices get even quieter. I would have to ask them to repeat themselves and speak up when they are talking to me several times until finally they just give up trying to talk to me.
I decided just before Thanksgiving that it was time to do something about my hearing so I scheduled a free hearing test for the following day. When I went in for my first appointment, I was greeted with friendly faces and warm smiles. Upon completion of my hearing test I was informed that I was going to need hearing aids. Joy the audiologist walked me through exactly how bad my hearing really was. It has always been one thing to know that it was bad but it's another to see how bad it is. Joy then walked me through the different options I had for my hearing aids. I knew right then and there that I was never going to be able to afford them. That was when they told me about the Miracle Ear foundation and they thought that I may qualify to receive my hearing aids at no cost. So they got me the application and walked me through it.
I turned it in a few days later and it was immediately faxed in. I was told that it was going to take at least 4 weeks to hear back from them whether or not I had been approved. Much to my surprise, I receive the call 3 weeks later saying I was going to be getting my hearing aids. I had an appointment to have my molds made and then 2 weeks later I had my first fitting.
The day that I got my hearing aids, Joy walked out of the room to get a different size for the ear bud for my left hearing aid. She and I had a conversation and to me it sounded like she had been in the room the whole time. She even took me outside so that I could hear the birds. I started to cry right then and there. The best feeling however, was when I got home. I walked in the door and after being greeted by the dogs, I heard a little voice say “mama” followed by a giggle and an “I You” my toddler’s way of saying I love you. It was a day full of firsts for me and I know none of it would have been possible without the help of my Miracle Ear team. I can honestly say that they have changed my life for the better.

I learned about Miracle-Ear through my daughter because that's where she got her hearing aids at. And I had a great experience with them. Every time that I've been to the Miracle-Ear by the mall, their customer service has been real nice, polite and concerned about my hearing - they treat me like they should treat an old person. I got the behind the ear hearing aid from Miracle-Ear and it has helped in my life a hundred percent because I can hear people. I used to sit down in either the first or the second pew at church because I couldn't hear the minister or the choir, but now I sit back with my friends in row twelve and I hear just fine with Miracle-Ear. So I highly recommend them and I have told my friends from Sunday School class (we are all seniors) about Miracle-Ear.

I was suffering from hearing loss for many, many years until I finally decided I needed some help. Miracle-Ear Hearing is located in the Sears Roebuck store and that's the only place I really knew about, so I went and saw them. I can't believe how loud the TV had to be without my hearing aids. It has made a great improvement on my family life. They don't have to be repeating things and annoying other people. Moreover, the staff at Miracle Ear is very good. I originally started with Victoria, she left, and I've had other people. But everyone I've really dealt with is very knowledgeable, caring and very, very good. I'm very happy with them. I can get in and give my tips, to have my hearing aids cleaned and they're very accommodating.

Miracle-Ear hearing aid is a great deal in terms of its impact on my mother's life because now, we can talk to her and she can hear. My mother went with the hearing aid style that fits into the ear canal and it doesn't go behind the ear. She had tried other ones, not Miracle-Ear, that went around the ear and it didn't work for her. Also, Katie, a staff at the West Park branch -- where I take momma to, is very friendly, cheerful, sweet and helpful. We're very happy and pleased with her. She tries to hear any problems that momma is having and she tries to fix them if she can. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with Miracle-Ear.

I'm an attorney and I had to hear better. The Miracle-Ear hearing aid style I have is the one behind the ear. It was suggested by the audiologist because my hearing had deteriorated to a point where she said behind the ear would give me a better hearing. I've had Miracle-Ear for a couple of years and the service has been good. I have one more year where I can renew my warranty. I'm going to do that in January and then after that, I'll decide what I'm going to do about the hearing aids.

The other ones I had didn’t have all these high technology on them so I didn’t bother so much but they are good hearing aids. Interactions with the people at Miracle-Ear have been excellent.

We've been wearing Miracle-Ear hearing aids for 20 years and we originally got them at Sears. Our interactions with their sales and customer service team have been fine. We get our hearing aids checked and we get our ears cleaned out and we can hear better. I have in-the-ear, and my husband has behind-the-ear; we like them. Furthermore, we've chosen them over other hearing aid providers because we live in Carson, California and they were five minutes from our home. They closed after one year, and now we have to take a taxi and drive further away from home. We want to know why their Carson office will not be open, but we would recommend them.

I’ve had a wonderful experience with Miracle-Ear. I have a lot of hearing loss on my left ear and a bit on the right. I went with one of the cheaper models because I am on social security and don’t have that much money to put on one of the high-end ones, but I haven’t had any problem with it at all. Their customer service team is wonderful. I could call them up anytime or go over there if I want and get help right away. The girl that fitted me with the hearing aids, Liza, was patient of her time. She asked me questions which I answered, and then told my daughter that I definitely needed those hearing aids because my left ear is pretty bad. Also, all I have to do is call the girl at the front desk and tell her I needed to talk to someone or wanted an appointment. They are the ones who helped me through.

I've been hearing impaired all of my life. So once I got married, my wife was tired of me being hearing-impaired. I went with Miracle-Ear because of their level of service and the confidence I had in both the people and the hearing aid. I didn't get it until I was in my 30's. The guy that runs the Miracle-Ear franchise asked me why I didn't do it earlier and I replied, "You go through life looking at black and white pictures, and all of a sudden someone shows you color."
I've been wearing hearing aids for about 10 years. When I went and saw the guy that was my usual person, I said the one on the left side seems to be working really well, but the one on the right side had to be adjusted every time I come in. I thought there's something wrong with the hearing aid. He checked it out and said there's nothing wrong with the hearing aid. He recommended that I see an ear, nose, throat guy. I did and they gave me an MRI. They found a brain tumor and that's what was causing my hearing loss. Because of the hearing aid person, I found a brain tumor growing in my head. He knew what he was doing and that something else was wrong. I have recommended Miracle-Ear to friends who have actually bought them.

Their customer service team was very good and professional. When I needed something replaced or adjusted, I just walk into their office or call them and they took care of it. Everybody who's had a hearing problem or any type of hearing loss that can be corrected can't go wrong with Miracle-Ear. I'm very happy with it. I first found out about Miracle-Ear hearing aid back in the early '90s when we went by a Miracle-Ear store in a Sears mall in Massachusetts and my wife said something about getting my ears tested since it was free. So we went in and soon I realized I had a problem and proceeded to get hearing aids from Miracle-Ear. Then I was sent overseas for 7 years and I was very happy with getting them.
I have a problem because my hearing loss is almost complete. I was in manufacturing and I didn't realize that the manufacturing environment was actually hurting my ears. Now, I can't hear anything even if somebody stands next to me and hollers at me. So my hearing aids are really changing my life at this point. And, I've had quite a few of them through the years and what I have right now is the newest style but they're behind the ear rather that in the ear canal and I'm getting used to it.
The reason why I'm still with Miracle-Ear for twelve years is because I have a good technician in this area who takes care of me. I have a digital hearing aid now. But the product doesn't sell itself. It takes a good technician to test it, to fit you, to take the information that he has from his testing and put it to you. So it's a computer program that fits the final product to the ear and my technician does it very well. And when I had a problem with one hearing aid, I sent it out but it went back to Minnesota and it came back too late for me to pick it up for Thanksgiving so Chris, the technician, brought the hearing aid to my house which was very nice of him. And, I have had opportunities to look at other hearing aid people and they more or less sell products but not the service.

The hearing aid that I have from Miracle-Ear now is the one that hangs on the outside of my ear. It’s an upgrade from the one that I had before, and it’s excellent. I have no complaints. The customer service representatives were really good, very caring, responsive and knowledgeable on the product. Everything they said came out the way it was supposed to.

The lady at Miracle-Ear did a tremendous job in testing me and, explaining things. The service was great. In the end, I went with the behind-the-ear model. I did have one in the canal that I liked but was told that I'd be able to hear better with the behind-the-ear model as it picks up better. So far, I'm doing good with it and I hear better. Overall, my experience with them has been very good and I'm glad that I went there. I went some place else before, but I got a better service understanding with what was going on at Miracle-Ear. It seemed like they were more concerned with my problem.

They're very cooperative and they're very explanatory on the usage and handling of the device--very satisfactory.

My friends are happy that I have Miracle-Ear. I don't have to repeat what they say. I don't think I had really a great hearing loss but it was enough to be a bother and it has made life easier. I had a chance to wear another hearing aid style though I had a real good feel for each one but I chose the behind the ear because it was more comfortable and I really hear better with it. Also, the rep was a great guy as each time I see him, he schedules the next visit. So I go in about every 6 months and if I have any problems or anything I feel I need adjusted, he takes care of it. He's a good salesman and very good with follow through. I'm very pleased with the service.

I've been wearing Miracle-Ear for a long time and I'm extremely happy with their hearing aid. There's no criticism I'd make since they've never been back to the factory. The man who takes care of me knows his business and I have never seen a man so dedicated to what he's doing. If there's anything that I would like to particularly highlight, it would be the service I've received from their personnel more than anything else. I've had no problems with their service. I went from Miracle-Ear to AccuQuest, then back to Miracle-Ear, and I'm not going to any place else. AccuQuest serves as my backup. The day before yesterday, my son, who's in his early 50's, was reading my lips when I asked him questions. He said, "I've got a loaner hearing aid in my ear." So I ordered a new Miracle-Ear for him. I'm on Miracle-Ear's side. Put me on the payroll and I'll sell them.

My wife and I both have Miracle-Ears. We saw an ad about it on TV and it said free examination. So we ran over to Roseville, had the examination, and learned that we both have almost the same hearing loss. We like the service they gave us, and Eric, the man in charge there, has been really good. The hearing aids, however, are not perfect but I'm okay with them. My wife, on the other hand, is having a hard time with them. The problem is we still don't catch all the words when people are talking, but they are a help and overall, we're happy with Miracle-Ear.

My mother recommended Miracle-Ear. She was a Beltone customer and was so dissatisfied. She said she saw an ad in the newspaper that might be worth checking out. I have the behind the ear style. It seemed to fit what I needed to have done. I have one in each ear and they talk to each other. If I adjust one or the other, it adjusts the opposite one.
It has impacted my life very positively. When I went in, the technician asked me what the bigger problems were and I said that my ears are ringing. I needed to fix this. I like to hunt deer and rabbit. I still can hear deer walking in the leaves in the woods, but I can’t hear the rabbits run unless they’re very close. By then they’re too close for me to take a shot at because they’re already gone. Also, my wife was fussing about the television volume. Now it is halved.
The sales and customer service team are fantastic, knowledgeable, friendly and kind people. We started going through the weekly, monthly adjustment period. Learning some things, question and answer and "let me tweak this and that for you". The specialist had a stroke and that was a major loss for me. We had a substitute for a couple of visits and now we’ve got another full-time person there. She is an absolute cracker-jack, sharp as a tack. She is up on everything that comes along.
I needed some help reducing the ringing in my ears--tune up the hearing aid so it emits a little noise that counteracts the ringing. It was mentioned before but didn’t know much about the noise suppression like a backfire or a gunfire. She got that in there. She brought me up to speed on that and that really works. I’ve had a chance to bag three different deer this year and I did that successfully. I use a muzzleloader, which is especially loud, and a shotgun. I didn’t notice it the first time with the shotgun; but with the muzzleloader four days later, I noticed there was a momentary silence after the blast and then I was back on track again. I’m making an assumption that the noise limiting thing in the hearing aid actually detected the sudden change, blanked it out for me to protect me, and then it came back. I was impressed.
It doesn’t mean that the ringing in the ears have stopped. It’s loud sometimes; my sinuses were so choked up. It's fantastic. I have recommended it to others. My mom is a converted Beltone user to Miracle-Ear. She finally got off the dime. She’s 85 and real hard of hearing. I told her that she's dissatisfied with Beltone and that she's going to get the same result again if she kept doing the same thing. She had to make a change to get a different result. She finally got it and I was so pleased.

I was waiting to hear something from my other hearing aid and he was going to tell me when he got back from a convention if he had anything new. But I haven't heard from him and I needed a new hearing aid, so I decided to try Miracle-Ear. I got the one behind the ear but so far, I'm not very happy with it. It's so awkward to use. I have trouble getting it in my ear. Then with the thing behind my ear, when I get it all in and brush my hair, I knock it out again. Or if I put my glasses on, it falls off. So, it's frustrating to me. However, Kyle from their customer service is wonderful. He's very thorough and knowledgeable. I feel like he's doing the best he can to help me. So overall, I'm very satisfied with Miracle-Ear.

There have been some companies going in and out of business but Miracle-Ear seemed to be one that was hanging around there the most. When I went to go see the people in their clinic, Betty, the head of the clinic, seemed very personable and so caring. Her concern was a big motivating factor that she went out of her way to make sure that the system that I had really worked. If I had a problem, I would be able to go to her. She showed me what she was doing with her controls and I can convey information back to her in such a way that she would understand what I was doing, and we were able to have a nice, good, personable conversation.
I'm a musician and a performer, and I needed something that had some decent battery life and exceptional range limitations. So based on my own particular needs, I went with the behind-the-ear style. The price was too expensive but the features were good and Betty and I worked it out pretty well. When I got my last set of hearing aids, she said she would upgrade the equipment that I have if I’d be able to work with her in providing feedback. I did and it has been a good experience for me. It's been terrific.

I recommended Miracle Ear to several people. I don't have a problem with them or the hearing aid at all. I feel very confident with it and like it a lot. I got the model that has this little thing that is behind my ear and then it has a little wire that goes down into my ear. I got it for the type of hearing loss that I had and some functionality that I wanted. The only thing that I find disappointing is the lack comprehensive care done by the person down in Burnsville, Minnesota. I'm assuming that they have a regional manager who oversees multiple locations but I really think they got to find out why there seems to be such a drop off in service down in Burnsville. The thing is I would not have known that unless I have made the switch to a different office.
When I went to the store in Burnsville I went through the hearing test in the soundproof booth and then we discussed the results and went in to see the factory representative. That was a very good conversation. I eventually switched to the Hudson, Wisconsin store, where I live, because I had my account with Burnsville, Minnesota for over a year and I got tired of the driving (45 minutes every time). I just went there to simply clean up the earwax anyway and it was more convenient for me to go to Hudson.
I went to see the guy in the Hudson office and we talked for a while, then I signed all the paper works for the transfer of the information. He then started as if we were in square one. He said "Okay, let me just see what happened in the last year" and put me through diagnostics that I have not seen before. He had a great big screen and he showed me the exact performance level of my hearing aid as it currently stands in relationship to the hearing loss. I sat in amazement. He went on to another series of diagnostics for me - all kinds of things that were just all completely new to me and no one has shown me before. At some point he said my settings were not at the correct level so he changed them, then showed it on the screen again to see how much closer his settings were to where the loss was. I thought it was really something. I put them in my ears and it was great.
I realized when I'm in a car and I put on the seat belt, there is a dong sound (that was always a one tone of "dong") but after he changed my settings it's now a chime. It has three or four different sounds wrapped into a chime! I was surprised because it was the first time that came out. I never heard that one before.
So the difference in the quality of the customer service between the guy in Hudson versus the woman in Burnsville was a difference of day and night! I was appalled at what the woman left out. The guy in Hudson was that much further advanced in his knowledge and his technology and came out with a far more superior outcome than what happened in Burnsville.
In Hudson had a couple of monitors upon the wall in front of me, which I never saw on Burnsville. The only thing that she showed me was a piece of paper. This is where one's hearing starts going down and down and down, which I've seen done probably fifty times over the last twenty years. So the difference in whether or not she had this technology but just chose not to use it, or if she simply doesn't have that technology then obviously all of their offices are not equipped the same way. I'm grateful that I made that switch. The performance of the hearing aids is much better than before.

I got the behind-the-ear hearing aid from Miracle-Ear. It's wired and goes inside the ear. Since I'm deaf in my right ear, I also have a hearing aid set for both the right and left ear where the right ear is connected to the one in the left ear. The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale was trying to figure out what caused me to go deaf on my right ear and they're doing some tests. They said that Miracle-Ear has some hearing aids that I might be interested in. The Miracle-Ear hearing aid certainly helps. If I'm driving down the road and my wife is talking to me, as she's on my right side, I can hear her because the sound transfers to the left ear. I've been a good scout for Miracle-Ear. I referred about three of my friends to Annie, my favorite girl at Miracle Ear, and they ended up buying the hearing aids. It's been a great experience with them. I’m 82 years old and I’ve had Miracle-Ear through the years. My husband told me I needed hearing aids because I couldn’t hear him. And I said, “So do you.” We went back and forth like that for about a year. Finally, we both decided to go and we went in Miracle-Ear and Jason tested us. We both needed them but we couldn’t afford to get four hearing aids. So we said, “We’ll take two because we’re going on vacation for a month and we’ll let you know when we get back.” He said, “You know what? I’m going to give you each one and you wear them that month you’re down there. And then when you come back, you decide whether you want one or two or none at all.” He said, “It’s up to you.” We went into weeks wearing them and we realized we needed both of them. So we got one a piece and then it was about six months later that we afforded to have the other ones.
My husband passed away four years ago. I’m alone now. But I’m very satisfied with Miracle-Ear and I highly recommend them to anybody. I’ve got a friend that I’m taking down tomorrow and she’s going to get tested. And I’ve had quite a few people over to Miracle-Ear because when they go in there, Jason is just so helpful and the little things he does, he never charges for them. It seems like wherever they go, it’s 20, 30, 40 bucks right away. With him, he takes care of them and I just feel so dependent on him. And Amanda’s good there, too, but I started with Jason so I just stick with him. He’s always been fair with me.

I found out that there was a Miracle-Ear not too far from me. Additionally, my children live out of state and I thought if I was ever going to visit them and something happens to my hearing aid, there’s going to be a Miracle-Ear close by more likely. My first pair started whistling and I didn’t even wear them most of the time. I would take them in every so often to have them serviced. The whistling would stop but it would start up again. Then I got information about a promotion Miracle-Ear was having. I bought a new pair and wow, what a difference! They were even less expensive and they’re so natural, too. In fact, I got in the shower three times and I quickly got out because I realized I had my hearing aids in.
Before I got my hearing aids, my father who was in assisted living went ahead and purchased hearing aids through Beltone, but he hardly wore them. Beltone would come to the assisted living and service people’s hearing aids. When I took my him to Beltone's office to have his hearing aids serviced, I thought he would get better service. However, it was horrible and could not compare to the service that I got with Miracle-Ear.
I gave his hearing aids to a neighbor who couldn’t afford them. I called and told him to go to Miracle-Ear and see what they can do. They could only do so much testing because they were Beltone hearing aids. But they helped as much as they could and didn’t charge him anything to look at them. I called the Beltone office here where I had taken my dad to and they were very nasty. He had to travel for about an hour to one of their franchises that would service and take care of him, and he was very pleased with them. He had to pay a bit to get the aids fixed.
I know if Miracle-Ear would have been able to service him, they would have even if he would have to pay a bit. The people that do the servicing at my Miracle-Ear in Mechanicsburg are outstanding. If ever I have a problem, all I do is call them and they get me right in. They’re friendly and knowledgeable. I’m very pleased. I wouldn’t go any other place. I would go back to them when I need new ones. There are private agencies and businesses that sell hearing aids but my thought is, what if they ever go out of business? Are they going to be able to take care of me as well?

I started relationship with Miracle Ear in April 2014, spending $7210 on a pair of hi-tech hearing aids. My hearing impairment is marginal, with loss at high frequencies. I was functioning professionally, but needed help. The aids were difficult and problematic. Squealing and troubles. I think the product was good, but the technician was not. She is no longer with the company. We changed models in June 2012 from an "in ear" device to over-the-ear tube device. This was much better but did not fit and would not stay in my ears. They acknowledged the poor fit and unable to make a good fit due to my large ear canals. In February 2014, we changed models again to an in-ear device, but this came at an additional cost of $5667. This was overall better, but still with problems. Not able to hear clearly, with bursts of static (they call it white noise) coming with bursts of ambient noise.
Finally, with the help of new technician who is concerned, I was recently fitted with another try at an over-the-ear model with tubed wire to in-ear speaker. This was as a "trial". They were wonderful, and although needing some final tweaking, fit well. The company had begun to offer longer tubes that fit me! I tried them for two weeks and returned. I was told they would be about $5600 more. I have spent $12,877 with this company since April 2011, and the devices have NEVER worked right. My history of visits has demonstrated continuous attempt to make this work. FINALLY, they give me something that works and fits, and now want me to take my total investment to over $18,000!!! For those that have priced hearing aids, this is robbery. The local store says there is nothing they can do; this has come from Miracle Ear. Shame on Miracle Ear!

I had to get hearing aids so I shopped around. I got Miracle-Ear because they're all over the place, nationwide, and it was convenient for me because I live in upstate New York, in the Adirondacks, so I have to be careful where I get things from because otherwise, I'd have to go back to where I got them from. My Miracle-Ear has actually changed my life in my being able to hear and it makes a big difference when I have to be able to run a business. This hearing aid has made my husband happy. I don't get that "Grrr" anymore.
The sales and customer service teams were wonderful. The first one I went to was at Sears in Palm Beach Gardens here and he was great. He took time and was very informative and excellent. Then he took another job in Jupiter, closer to his home. The second one I went to was very nice too, but I didn't get to know him too well. Now, this third guy that I'm going to, was good too. His father owns Miracle-Ear in upstate New York where I'm from. He said, "My uncle lives in Old Forge." I said, "Oh, my gosh, that's twelve miles from where I live." I've had very good rapport and service from them.
It's been so far, so good in my experience with Miracle-Ear. Although there's the hearing aid model that you can put in the ear, that wasn't an option for me since I don't have an eardrum. So I could only go to the over the ear kind and insert it there. I'd like to see the price go down though. But they have a wonderful product and it's helping millions of people. So whatever they're doing, they ought to keep doing it because they make a lot of people happy.

I've had my hearing aid from Miracle-Ear for about 25 years. I started out with the in canal model, which I really like and I've been advancing up. The last time, my specialist put me into one behind the ear, but I have a mold insert. I've told him a couple of times that I really don't like it because to me the concept of the ear is not being used because the shape of the ear is what's supposed to draw the sound into the canal. And this being behind my ear seems like it isn't right. The hearing aids have impacted my life tremendously. Keenan has been fantastic. He works with me to all ends no matter how much time I take, and it's not a problem with him. I can go over there any time even though I don't have an appointment and he will see me so I'm very satisfied.

This is my second hearing aid. The first one quit working and nobody could figure out why because I haven't worn it that much. It seemed like it wouldn't charge anymore. I was given the option of sending it back at the cost of $500 with no guarantee that it would be fixed. I think maybe their re-care policies could be a little more lenient because not everybody is able to come up with $5,000 in two years or three years for a hearing aid. I ended up having to buy another one. It just seems like it's awfully one way when things go wrong. But I'm completely happy with the lady from Miracle Ear that fitted me and checks it out. That's the best part of my experience.
I denied hearing aids for a long time but I'm finally realizing that I need it. So I'm using and wearing it more than I used to. It does make a big difference. I’m satisfied. I’m dependent on it in a lot of ways. Once I get it in, I know it’s going to help.

The people at Miracle Ear are very knowledgeable and extremely nice. They try to do whatever they can. They will put up with you. However, I feel bad because their technician is genuinely trying hard and I'm just disappointed because when I accidentally stepped on my left hearing aid and crushed it, what they sent was a different model from the original one. It can't be controlled by my controller. There's lots of things that are out of whack. Despite this, I would still recommend them very highly because it's not their fault, it was mine for being careless with my hearing aid but I also was extremely upset. I can't afford to buy another set since they are very expensive.
They had just called me yesterday and said my new hearing aid was in to replace it but it's not the same. They did the model of my ear and set it in before but it's a different model now than the original, so it didn't fit in right. It just kept going out on me. I could hear then I couldn't, every time. I told the guy up at Miracle Ear that it's driving me insane. I can't wear it. He said he'll check it out so he took it, looked it all up and he found that it had problems. He was hoping they could get it right this time so he sent it back and made another mold again. They called yesterday and my appointment is tomorrow to pick it up so I'm hoping it will fit better and that I can get along better with it.

It's not as good as I hoped, but they have improved my hearing difficulties and I've been semi-satisfied with them. The people at Miracle-Ear go out of their way to make sure everything is as good as it can be. They're more than willing to help me out whenever I needed anything. My kids often said that I don't say "what" as much anymore and that's a positive thing. I went to Miracle Ear's competitor and was not impressed with the people. So I decided to do some more research online and I found Miracle-Ear. The sales and customer service teams are very knowledgeable and friendly, including the gentleman here. When he answered the phone, he answered it professionally. I used to run businesses so I know how a phone should be answered. He picked it up and said "This is Miracle-Ear, may I help you?" Nothing annoys me more than when I call a place of business and they seem annoyed that I ask them their name. These people at Miracle-Ear, every single time they pick up the phone they'll say, "Thank you for calling, my name is this or that, how can I help you?" And that, to me, is everything.
I moved and sold my home in Swansea, then I moved up north of Boston. I walked in to introduce myself and right away the lady was just like a long-lost friend. She says, "Let's set up an appointment. We want to make sure everything is okay." And the technician walked in and it's the same thing. He shook my hand and welcomed me there. He said, "Look, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to stop" - which I did today and he took care of me. So I guess I just can't say nothing but good things about the people. How professional they are and how courteous they are to their customers.
I went with the one that fits behind the ear and has the little piece that goes up into your ear channel. I had read when I was studying the other ones that people had problems with an echo with the one that disappeared in your ear. That's really the one I wanted. It's because I wear glasses too, and I knew it would be a problem. It's been great right up until just the last week. Something's wrong with one of them but their technician has taken care of it. He's in the process of sending it out now. He thought at first it just needed adjustment and I told him, "No, if you listen to one of the channels it just doesn't work." Normally it beeps when it gets squeezed, but this one won't do anything. I've lost all hearing in that ear. But they're taking care of it so I have no problem. They're the best.

I had heard about Miracle-Ear Hearing years ago, and then I saw they had a place here in Johnstown where I live and I thought I had have a couple other hearing tests at different places so I thought, "Oh, I'll try this." I was very impressed with the girl who did the test. Her presentation played a big part on my choice of Miracle-Ear Hearing Aids. The other ones I went to basically give a hearing test, tones. Beep when you hear this. Beep when you hear that. Where she did above and beyond what they did.
Because I was very hesitant about getting hearing aids, I knew I needed them and I just kept prolonging it because I'm very active. But I adjusted immediately. She was amazed. You wear them a couple of hours, take them out. I put them in and never took them back out. I adjust to everything very easily, so I wasn't shocked that that wasn't going to be the case. I don't miss too much now. It's very good like in church and auditoriums and stuff like that. The only problem I have is occasionally if somebody is speaking to me on a one-on-one if they're not speaking loud and distinct, sometimes I'll have to say, Excuse me. What did you say? But that's about the only real problem I think I've ever come across so far.
The customer service team were all excellent. I have the kind that just the little wire that goes inside your ear. I have very, very small ear canals. At first, I got those brown things. They remind more the old fashion kind. I don't know what you call them. I was afraid to lose them because my ear canals are very, very tiny. So then I went to the kind that goes right into the ear drum and that little like a plastic over the ears.
I'm pleased with Miracle-Ear Hearing and I have a little bit of muscular degeneration and at first my daughter was putting in the batteries and I thought, "This is crazy." Now, I'm going to put this battery in. So I tried it and now she said, "Go on, mom. You put it in quicker than me." And I'm very active and independent. I enjoy them. I knew what I was missing after I got them in there. I have recommended it. I was very pleased with everything from the time I went to get the hearing test, explanation of everything, and I was very satisfied. No complaints really.

I love my Miracle-Ear hearing aid. I have the behind the ear model (the new ones that came out in February). They have the navigation on them. I bought the most expensive one but it's the one that has the GENIUS control, and I went with it because I wanted to be able to hear a lot of different sounds and to be able to control their volume. I just didn't want to be able to hear louder, I wanted to be able to hear better. Some of the other ones just didn't sit because I have such a hard time hearing low tones that it was better to go with the GENIUS technology that they have now that gives you more ability to have the different tone ranges changed.
I've had hearing issues since I was born. I've had surgery on both ears 20 years ago, so it's always been an issue for me. But then when I went to the last hearing checkup and they told me that I would need them and we still need to tweak them just a little bit, but I'm hearing a lot better than I was before. I can now hear a lot of sounds that I didn't even hear before.
I have nothing but good things to say about Michelle and Lisa, members of their customer service team. Michelle is the one who usually answers the phone. From the first time I called, she made me feel like I was the only person that they were waiting on. Michelle is just very personable and very friendly. She's very quick to get me any help that I need as far as scheduling appointments, the times that I need, or if I need to get Lisa on the phone.
From the first time that I met Lisa, I felt she loves doing her job - that she's not just doing it to sell a product. She cares about her patients. I've seen that even from if I get to my appointment ahead of time and they're finishing up and they're just chitchatting, I pick that up just from each one that I've seen her around and with me, that she cares about the job that she does and she enjoys helping people. I would and I have recommended Miracle-Ear to others.

We were having a gathering for someone right down the street from the Miracle-Ear store, and a friend of mine had a hearing aid. I knew I was going to need one, so when I spoke with him about it, he said he had researched a great number of them and found the best was the Miracle-Ear, so it was on his recommendation that I visited the store. The hearing aid helps me hear a little bit better. My hearing was not terribly bad, but I was having a little trouble distinguishing certain letters and I'm always asking my husband to repeat himself. So certain tones and timbres were hard for me to hear. It has made a big difference in the sense of being able to hear better.
The Miracle-Ear sales and customer service teams were friendly and courteous, so my interactions with them were wonderful. The family in charge of the store is very professional and accommodating, and they always make an appointment that's convenient for me. I went with the hearing aid behind the ear because it was the one that was recommended based on my hearing test. The other type was the one that my friend had, and it is very deep in the ear. But my friend had to bring it in every once in a while for a battery change, so mine was very convenient. It sits behind the ear and has the clear thread that goes down and attaches inside of my ear.
However, I find myself pushing it in on the one ear and I don't know why it's pushing it in a little further all the time. I'm always testing to make sure that it's seated properly, but I'm due to go back shortly and have them clean and check them out. Overall, my experience was very satisfactory and I would recommend them highly if I knew of anyone else that needed a hearing aid.

When I saw the ad from Miracle-Ear, I took the opportunity with them. I went and the man there said, "Well, things have changed now. Things are different, and we probably can help you." And they have. He offered me the hearing aid that goes around the ear and goes into the ear canal. I got that one. Now, I can hear with Miracle-Ear. I don't put it in if I'm not going out because I can hear without it. I use it when I go out and when I listen to somebody preach. So we went to Scott, the person who worked with my mother before for hearing aids, and got the behind the ear with a little wire in the ear from Miracle-Ear because it was the best for my husband. Scott was very patient and did many follow-ups to make sure that everything is attuned to my husband's hearing although we have not gone to him in a little while because my husband needed to do doctor visits for heart problems and had a pacemaker. Once he's done we will start going back. The hearing aid has been like a miracle as it made a tremendous difference with family and friends. He is able to understand what people are saying and he is not looking at me to say, “What did they say?” or “I don’t understand.” It has given him a new perspective on life. It's been great and he had a wonderful experience.
