Seeking out a rehab facility is a daunting task. My prayers are with you and I want to encourage you and say healing happens. When it became such a critical point in my son's addiction, there were key elements that were important to me and Elevate offered them all. All of the components were equally important: strengths-based, health and fitness focus, therapeutic. I learned from my son that they served really healthy (and delicious) food, they provide a cross-fit gym and integrate fitness into the program, they do group and individual counseling and provide workbooks to process thinking processes regarding emotions and triggers that provoke substance use. I feel they have a great balance.

Elevate gave me back the husband I met over 30 years ago. The care he received at Elevate South Lake Tahoe was compassionate and understanding. The things he learned really resonated with him. The weekly updates from Nate were a godsend.

While everyone was nice at Elevate this program does not work for someone that suffers from a strong opiate addiction. Our son was only home 24 hours before he relapsed and needed to be brought back to life by paramedics twice. We were told they would also treat the anxiety and depression which causes his addiction and they never touched on that. We reached back out to Sierra after his relapse and she kept calling it a “slip up”. The cookie cutter approach doesn’t work for all addicts.

We first connected with Mike when we were looking for a rehab facility that would best meet our 21 year old son's needs/personality. He explained how Elevate was different and not a 12 step program. After talking him with him our son agreed this sounded like the best fit for him to go to begin the rehabilitation process. Throughout the months many others were there to support my husband and me. One of the most compassionate and caring people was Nate. He was easy to reach via phone or email and he always took the time to listen to our concerns and provide feedback on how we might proceed.

Our son recently went through the 30 day treatment at Elevate Addiction Services. Nate was our point of contact each week. He kept us informed of our son's progress. Our son recently came home a much healthier, happier person. Our son talks about how positive this experience was for him and what he learned along the way while working the program.

Finally after 3 failed attempts at other treatment centers for ** addiction, Elevate Addiction Services was able to get my son on the path to permanent recovery. Their approach is not the typical 12 step program, it's more of a holistic approach. The Betty Ford 12 step approach didn't work for my son, he relapsed within days of leaving the treatment center both times. Elevate focused on mindfulness and evidence based practices, not Scientology. This approach clicked with my son, who was very reluctant in the beginning. Elevate has a less clinical and commercialized feel. The ranch style facility offers freedom, activities, hikes and more relaxed therapy sessions. I had daily communication with the staff, unlike the previous treatment centers. My son came out of treatment, healthier, stronger, happier and with the right tools to maintain sobriety. I can't say enough positive things about Elevate Addiction.

You will not be disappointed with the results you get from Elevate. I especially want to thank all the family advisors and team members that worked closely with my family. We had Brianna and Nathan and both advisors were incredibly sweet and caring. They made sure to keep us updated every single day with a phone call to update us on the status of our loved one. They put so much effort and love into helping them get the help they need and deserve. Once the program was finished we saw HUGE incredible changes in our loved one and we finally got our person back. We are so confident and happy with the experience that we received from Elevate! 10/10 recommend!

We cannot express our gratitude to Mike, Nate, Leslie, Bri, Arthur, all the counselors and staff at Elevate. After years of watching our son deal with alcoholism we searched for an inpatient program that could help him get on the road to recovery. Upon making contact with Elevate we felt a support, love and care that was so needed. Our initial contact with Mike was so wonderful. He helped us figure out everything regarding our son's insurance and keeping in contact with us and our son until we successfully got him to the rehab center. Most importantly they didn’t make it about the money but about getting our son well.

I am so appreciative of Nate and his consistent communication with me throughout my husband's stay at Elevate. His warm personality and personable nature were so meaningful to me while navigating my husband's treatment. He was available to listen, offer advice and guide me throughout the process. I would like to give 5 stars to Family Advisor Nathan **. Of all the Family Advisors that have worked with us over the years, Nathan has been by far the most compassionate, caring attentive Family Advisor. Not only did he show concern for my son’s mental, physical and emotional state, but he was concerned for my emotional needs as well. Addiction can impact the whole family and Nathan clearly recognizes this. He works towards helping the whole family through the recovery process. Nathan ** is an asset to Elevate and I hope his great work is recognized by the company.

Our daughter recently attended a 30-day program at Elevate Addition Services. She's been struggling with smoking marijuana and was unable to quit on her own, despite the fact it was making her very ill. Elevate provided the support, education, and guidance she needed. The staff is amazing. She spent each day working hard on uncovering the issues that were contributing to her addiction and by the end of her 30 days, she was transformed. When she arrived in South Lake Tahoe, Nate was our main contact during her stay and he provided us with a weekly status report and encouragement to our daughter. Her instructor, Dawn, gave her the tools, belief in herself, and the mindset to stick with her program when she left.

We had a family member who entered rehab in the beginning of November. Elevate walked us through every step of the way. Great communications, well thought out program. Our family counselor, Nathan **, was especially helpful. He kept in constant contact with the family to let us know how our loved one was doing. Even on bad days as well as good days. He walked us through all the steps of the program, letting us know what to expect each day. We are forever grateful to Elevate and the program they provide.

A family member had a positive experience at Elevate's South Lake Tahoe facility. She found the staff to be caring, attentive and they found the mindfulness based, non-12 step approach to be more relevant than the AA approach. She spoke well of all the staff and counselors. I appreciated the updates, transparency, warmth and concern I received from Nathan, the family contact person. Choosing a treatment facility is a daunting process and we feel fortunate that this was a positive experience. The only "negative" I would offer is that Elevate conducts their 30 day program at Lake Tahoe and 60 day program and detox process near Watsonville. Feedback from other clients who had been through both programs (sadly, even a good rehab program may need to be repeated), felt that the one at Tahoe was smaller and provided more individual attention.

Our family journey started about 15 months ago with Elevate Addiction Services. Our son started traveling down a very bad, deadly path. He started using ** to numb his pain. My son had to go back three separate times. The third time was the charm! It was in no way the facilities fault that the first two times did not help my son. My husband and I know of 4 different times that my son overdosed. The fourth time the ** was mixed with **. This was the time that he realized he needed to go back. And he went with an open mind, open heart and determination.

Elevate was exactly the treatment I was hoping for. I did not wish to participate in a twelve-step program as I had tried this approach in the past and it only left me feeling poorly about myself without much hope or desire to recover. The holistic approach at elevate prepared me on many levels for a better more fulfilling life. The staff was kind and attentive. Food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone looking to fully take back their life and personal well-being.

I got much more out of this experience than just giving up alcohol. The whole holistic approach to healing from the inside out is going to help me for the rest of my life. The mind, body and spirit need to be cared for and this is what I came out of with this program. I am looking forward to nourishing myself and using all the tools that I learned. Mindfulness is my New Best Friend!!!

I completed detox and 30 day program with Elevate Addiction Services and it was incredibly beneficial. I learned a great deal about myself and addiction. In addition to this, I created and will implement a new, structured plan that will assist me in leading a more helpful, productive & healthy life. The program assisted me in learning about my healthy and toxic relationships and how to better deal with those moving forward. We worked on health and exercise schedule, as well as that of professional life. The staff was effective, kind and brutally honest when I needed it most. I really enjoyed my time in the Lake Tahoe facility. It's a beautiful place to be and I'd recommend this program if you're looking to make a change and improve your life.

Spent a lot of time searching for a detox/rehab program, a non-faith based program was my biggest requirement. The program at Elevate was exactly what I was looking for. It provided a program with a focus on mindfulness. The staff in South Lake Tahoe was very helpful and I felt at home during my 30-day program. I recommend this program for anyone looking for something other than AA or a 12-step program.

Elevate Addiction Services was a wonderful place for me to receive treatment. The staff is very supportive, encouraging and compassionate which made for a comfortable environment to address the issues that led to my addiction.

I feel the program at EAS will work better for me than previous inpatient programs I attended. I feel like I have the tools now to succeed in my recovery and continued sobriety. Thank you EAS for your care and continued support.

I want to thank everyone especially Laura and Elizabeth for helping my daughter through a very dark time in her life. They took the extra step to help her kick her addiction to alcohol and drugs. I dont know how I ended up here because I live about 3000 miles away, but I'm glad I did, and I think it was meant to be. I learned an insane amount in these 30 days about how I can move forward in my life sober and happy. The tools here are incredible, I feel like myself before my addiction, but an even better version. I feel confident in myself moving forward, and I'm confident this program can help others.

I found E.A.S to be very helpful in finding the root cause of my addiction and addictive behaviors. The amazing staff have also helped me find a new confidence in my ability to stay sober. I'm extremely glad that found Elevate, if you're looking for help with your substance abuse issues I highly recommend this program.

My experience with EAS was really life changing for me. I had hit rock bottom and was ready to give up. I came to detox and got through the physical aspect and got to the 30 day program and I have a second chance at life. I am happy again and feel confident and capable to gain my life back!

Elevate is an amazing rehab. They teach you tools and how to incorporate them into daily life. They hold you accountable for your actions and responsibilities which generally get left behind through addiction. They have great counselors that are patient and helpful. They understand the needs of the clients and care for each one equally.

Elevate Addiction Services provides a holistic, evidence based recovery system that's structured around mindfulness. It's a cathartic empowering experience that has changed the way I view myself and the way I view addiction. I was an IV drug user for several years and was stuck in an endless cycle of going in and out of Rehab jails and prison and then I found Elevate and my life has changed dramatically in such positive ways. I've started rebuilding trust with my family and started to care and love myself. I would recommend this program to anyone that is struggling with addiction.

I really found the curriculum to be beneficial to me and my well being as it relates to my sobriety. I think anyone, addict or not, could find this program to be helpful to their every day life. I had a great experience at Elevate Addiction Services. It helped me get my life back in order after I had gone down a dark path. I am thankful to have been able to successfully complete this program and give it my all.

I enjoyed the self-discovery approach here at Elevate. I learned a lot about myself with the opportunity to review the questions and answer them privately versus sitting with a counselor and being asked questions on the spot. This approach allowed me to time to think about the questions and provide honest and thoughtful answers. I also really enjoyed the food, it was excellent. The people at Elevate were very professional and gave me a sense of security knowing that I was being cared for during my stay at Elevate. The room was clean and comfortable. Overall, I was very pleased with all aspects of the program.

Elevate Addiction Services and the Staff helped save my life. My life was going nowhere, I was stuck in an endless cycle and now I have a new found drive to not only help myself but others with the tools I was given here. I'm so grateful for this program.

My son sought residential treatment at Elevate in Watsonville last year after unsuccessful attempts at other facilities and it has had a huge impact on changing the course of his life. They provide a very thorough and comprehensive process in addressing the full physical and mental well being of what was needed for my son. It was certainly challenging at time but the staff never gave up on him and were extremely supportive. I don't think my review can fully express the level of care he received or how much we truly appreciate the help and open communication we received from Elevate but I would strongly encourage anyone who is facing serious addiction problems to seek them out. Addiction, especially opioid addiction, is a national crisis that our country needs to address and in their own way, Elevate has taken remarkable steps to develop a program that has been very successful for my son and our family.

The staff is great and most helpful in time of need. I was treated with respect from the moment I arrived till my moment of discharge. Thank you for allowing me to build the foundation I needed to be successful when I leave the program!

EAS has forever changed my life, not only am I leaving here sober, but I am leaving with the tools I need to go back to my life and maintain my sobriety. The staff at EAS are genuine, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Elevate was a great program with the holistic approach it adopts. They get down to the nitty-gritty of what causes our addictions vs just telling us we have a disease and are powerless over it. I appreciate everything Elevate Addiction Services has done for me. Thank you staff. The curriculum was very helpful and informative, It has helped me more than I ever thought it would. The food was always good and healthy, and along with the exercise regimen, has gotten my mind and body in the best shape it has been in years. I had an overall excellent experience.

If you want to get clean and sober permanently, this is the program you want. This program is based on cognitive science, not religion. No higher power required. The program does not espouse the theory that you are powerless over your addiction. Rather, it empowers you to beat your addiction permanently. You are NOT an addict for life. I went into the program with a lot of depression and anxiety. Within three weeks I was completely free of depression and anxiety. I learned the origins of my faulty core beliefs that caused the underlying anger that, in turn, fueled my addiction. I learned healthy, productive ways to channel my emotions. I no longer have cravings or urges to use. I am doing things I thought my 60 year old body could no longer do. I play volleyball, basketball, walk/jog, hike, and lift weights. I lost 12 pounds, and my BP went from 211/171 to 118/77.
