Bought a mattress topper $300 on "sale" to replace my existing one I bought from Zinus at Walmart for 1/3 of the price. The Ghostbed topper was so bad I had to go back to my previous one. I tried it for a week and I had the worst back pain I have experienced in a while. My 5 year old Zinus mattress topper is much better, I ended up using it again to be able to sleep comfortably again, back pain was gone and didn't woke up sore the next day.
The Ghostbed topper is also quite warm so the cooling effects claim are just pure marketing. And this company claims it has a free trial, even during checkout they displayed the hassle free trial icon, which gave me reassurance, but unless you read the fine print after trying to return it that's when you realize it does not apply to the toppers. Deceitful marketing practices, borderline scam, I fell for it... In hindsight I now realize the reviews on their site are probably not real, there was no way for me to leave a review on their site. Of course it will be all "5 stars" . Avoid this company, save yourself the trouble and buy from reputable brands and vendors. Garbage product.

Received my order yesterday (lightning quick), and unpackaged today. Discovered a dead bed bug on cover of all-in-one bed frame. When I called customer service, they placed me on long holds, and told me it wasn't a bed bug. Am still in the process of having the issue resolved, however was put off by (a) there being a bed bug in the packaging and (b) being told otherwise, even with pictures I sent. These same pictures were sent to an independent expert who confirmed what it was.

The product I received does not even REMOTELY resemble their photo. I received something that is egg carton pattern and doesn’t respond like memory foam. Beware. The fine print at the bottom of the photo says, “zone patterns and color may vary from picture”. When I called to complain that’s what they referred me to. They also told me that they had to do outsourcing because of Covid. This is fraud. Their ratings must also be fake, I discovered. Because when I tried to leave a rating, their website doesn’t offer that ability.

I'm not one to say yes or no to product reviews but believe it is important when the reviews seem to be the same response and nothing is liked about the product. Ghostbed touts that the topper is temperature driven and will stay cool when you lay in it... WRONG... The waterproof mattress cover is even worse. Other mattress protectors a little purple rain have got Ghostbed beat by a mile.. I will give them credit as the mattress topper was comfortable to lay on but if you want to lose weight and sweat while doing, by all means, then buy the topper.
I will also say that it does clearly state no returns but how do you know if it is going to work for you if you don't get to try it first?? I do get the hygienic thing but for god's sake, I hope you at least have a sheet on top of the topper to cover it???? Well, not to ramble on but I do not agree with their videos on how it has a cooling effect because it does not and adding the "plastic" but not "plastic" waterproof cover is just more heat on top of that. No pun intended but yes I did intend it. I would not ever buy from this company again. Got stuck with a Queen sized bed I had to pay for because of their "policy" of returns and I missed the deadline to return it. What fun to get stuck with a bed I don't like... But it was given to charity and I am out almost $1,400.00...
Can't state it enough, not good either way. I would definitely look into other Competitors first before buying again from the above mentioned company. I am stuck with a product that I care not to be with and out $200.00 + but I didn't listen to my inner conscious scream at me to run the other way.. The only other trick I can try is to find another mattress pad that is cooling enough so that I can use the topper without sweating to death.... Thanks for reading!

The worst company I had to deal with and the biggest scam company. Their return policy is rubbish. You have to wait 30 days until you get your refund and its not the full amount. They give back only a small percentage of the amount you paid. And the refund is only for the mattress. When I was on the phone with the guy who does the refunds, he kept trying to sell me stuff and tried to talk me out of returning the items. I had the foundation for the bed that I never opened out of the box. The guy 'you can't return items that ever opened and use other than the mattress'. After I already stated that I didn't opened it. Him 'if you want to return it you have to take it it to so-so (a FedEx that is not in my city), then pay for the $75 transport fee and the 15% restock fee'. It would come out be getting almost half the money back, I said, "Yes I'll still do return." Him getting all defensive about returning.

Mattress does not provide what they advertise. Website says try for 101 days if not satisfied return for full refund. Slept on this product for 30 days, no different than before I put the Mattress Topper on the bed. When I emailed about how to return for a refund I was told this is a personal use item and is non-returnable. All mattresses are personal use items, not sure what else you would use them for. They are false advertising, I would not purchase from this company. They do not stand behind their product and it does live up to what they advertise!

Bought Ghostbed Lux and Power Base after months of research. I suffer from extreme back and neck pain due to bone disease and broken bones in neck and back. I had not been able to sleep in a bed for over a year and slept sitting up. I purchased this bed and am very glad I did. Have been able to sleep so much better and it only took a couple nights to adjust to sleeping in my bed. Love my bed and will definitely recommend to anyone that has back issues. Thanks so much.

The 3D Matrix is listed as medium-firm, but it lacks any real definition of firmness. The construction of the mattress and pillows seems to be quality, and I am happy with the industry standard 101 night return policy. The minimum 30-night policy was not helpful - it was clear within a week this was not the mattress for me. I was happy to have taken a chance on a mattress and not had it work out - I would not have left a negative review for something so personalized. However, engaging with their customer service to initiate the return process has been a nightmare.
They are unresponsive and seem to be overwhelmed. They are also requiring that I return pillows that were a free gift as part of the mattress promotion. I have yet to hear a formal response from the return department over a week after requesting a return/refund well within the 101 night return window. Underwhelming is as kind a word as I can give to the mattress and the service. I would avoid this company as there are so many competitors in the field.

Ghostbed took the return as stated. But what they don't tell you is you actually don't get back all your money. We only received about 1/4 of our purchase price back. Do not buy. Company will scam you.

I am both a consumer under laws and a licensed lawyer in Quebec. I have purchased a mattress from Ghostbed through their website and on delivery, they left the mattress in the public lobby of my building even if there were clear indications that parcels shall be left in a secure lockbox which was clearly indicated. As a result of their gross negligence, the parcels got stolen and a police report has been duly completed. Under consumer law, the vendor has the obligation to ensure that the mattress was properly delivered to the consumer, otherwise, the mattress is deemed not to have been delivered. It is clearly the case here.
Consequently, I duly sent legal notice pursuant to the consumer protection act to cancel the purchase and, even after 1 month following the theft of the mattress, Ghostbed refuses to issue a refund even if it is their legal obligation to do so. Ghostbed is INTENTIONALLY INFRINGING CONSUMER LAWS and has no consideration whatsoever, to consumers' rights. Their customer service is impolite, rude and does not care at all about my case. They do not answer my emails and when I call them, they offer no explanation whatsoever even if they have been put on legal notice.

Do not for one second believe their claim about a 101-night hassle free sleep trial where you can return the mattress. I purchased the mattress as part of a bundle. Upon deciding to return the mattress because I did not find it comfortable or cooling, I was informed they were adjusting the cost so that the bundle I purchased for $3815 would be "adjusted" so that the entire discount (the cost was apparently 40% off for every item) would be COMPLETELY applied to the mattress, and they would only refund me $242 for returning to mattress and charge full price for every single other item, none of which are returnable.
This is not described anywhere on their website and not in line with their claim of being able to make free returns. I'm disputing the charge and have already filed a complaint with the BBB. They are a corrupt company that clearly misleads and lies, with horrible customer service. Avoid them unless you like wasting thousands of dollars on a subpar product from a company that tries to purposefully mislead and rip off consumers.

It took weeks for the various bed parts to arrive, one at a time. We like the bed itself, but it is smaller than standard so actually fit inside our current frame. We had ordered the extra headboard brackets but did not need them. The website does not say how to return anything except the mattress, so it took a few emails to find how to return them for refund. They had me spend $14.90 to ship it back with tracking and they received it on Jan. 31. 2 weeks later still no refund, several more days to finally get a reply and then they replied saying I would get only $64 back out of the $74 I spent on the cheap sheet metal parts. AMERICAN EXPRESS just informed me the refund was actually $63.84. The website gives the impression that returns are free if not satisfied. That is apparently not true with us and according to other reviews on the web we are not alone with their sleazy marketing. Buyer Beware!

DO NOT BUY FROM GHOSTBED!! Don’t believe the reviews on-line as they have obviously been filtered by Ghostbed. See Consumer Affairs - ** or see the 300+ complaints on Better Business Bureau **. “Lounge, nap and snooze on your GhostBed mattress for 3+ months. If you don’t love the comfort or feel, return it for free with our money-back guarantee.” Ghostbed’s money back guarantee is a SCAM. We purchased their Split King XL with adjustable base in October 2021 for $4,600 ($4,800 less the $200 white glove shipping charge) and tried them for 35+ days until both our backs were so sore my wife had to see an orthopedic surgeon and I had sciatic pain for several weeks afterwards.
We followed the return instructions, the mattresses were picked up by Sharetown – a charity arranged by Ghostbed, and received both email and text acknowledgments from Ghostbed that we would receive a $2,480 refund for the return of two TWIN XL mattresses. This seemed low but reasonable as we kept the adjustable frames, sheets and pillows that came with the $4,600 bundle. 16 days later and after making several calls to GhostBed inquiring about our refund, they refunded $1,100 back to our credit card – less than half the sale price of a single Twin XL mattress.
When we called about the discrepancy, the customer service representative told us there had been an accounting error, and that $1,100 was all that was owed after deducting the total bundle discounts of $2,800 (from the ridiculous bundle list price of $7,000) on $3,900 price of the two mattresses. So, we were scammed out of $1,380 on our refund and still had to purchase two Twin XL mattresses from a reputable company at an additional cost of $3,000. This was a very expensive lesson that ended up costing us over $6,000 for a new bed. Please do not let GhostBed keep getting away with this deceptive rip off. Do not trust the five-star reviews. Do NOT buy this product. While we know others that have purchased and like the product, the mattresses did not work for my husband and I. Then when we go to return them find out in the small print you only get back a VERY small amount of what you paid due to the false advertising!! A total scam in my opinion and trying to let everyone know NOT to purchase this product. There are lots of other options out there and I am sure not all of them are as fake as Ghostbed!! Do NOT buy!!

Be aware that you should be VERY patient if you're ordering a topper. I ordered one on January 11. I called more than a week ago and the rude person told me 10 to 15 days. As of February 3, still no response or communication why it's taking so long. Called again (3 weeks later). This time a nice person said it was going to be 2 to 3 weeks more at least. She also said it will also be 15 days or more to get a refund. Reading these reviews, I'm not expecting that to happen that easily. If you're OK with waiting that long for an order, go for it. This company might be highly rated but customer service is horrible and sounds like the products really aren't that good either. Be prepared to wait... and wait.

This company values nothing over their own pockets. I found their product on sale at Costco. Company does not price match and because I explored the return process they VOIDED my sleep trial. I haven’t even opened boxes and I am unable to return if I am not satisfied without a 15% restocking fee and full freight. Slimy company with no remorse. Go to Costco they have top notch customer service!

I purchased a mattress topper and it was itchy under my sheets, so I took them off the same night and asked for a return. They told me that was considered a personal item and could not take it back. Their site is very deceiving. On their site it has "Refund guarantee", I guess that's not for all their products. Poor customer service and wasted money.

The typical size of a queen flat sheet is 90” in width. The set of GhostBed Sheets by Nature’s Sleep we received were over-sized at 98”. When contacted, the Ghostbed representative insisted we send pictures, which we provided. Even with a deep mattress of 15” the overhang on these sheets is excessive. Ghostbed’s response was that a 90” width was not an industry standard size and that Ghost Sheets were an industry standard 95”. Even though the sheets did not meet their own specifications, Ghostbed refused a return, stating that the sheets were are not returnable as the package had been opened. We had a reasonable expectation that the sheets we purchased would conform to industry standards, they do not. For the price of these sheets, this customer is disheartened. If you are considered purchasing these sheets, buyer beware.

Ordered 1 king and 1 queen, but received 2 queen. Was advised not to open the second queen mattress until they correct their mistake. Subsequently, will be sleeping on the floor until then. One “manager” was rude, and unprofessional. Stated it was my fault I threw my old mattresses out. Haven’t tried the mattresses yet, but very disappointed in customer service and relations.

This is the hottest thing I have ever slept on, in fact it amplified body heat, and the only remedy was to leave the bed to cool off. The only thing that made it worse was the mattress cover that accompanied it, which only seemed to accelerate the heat retention and reflection. Apparently the warranty doesn't extend to completely false product claims. There was no refund offered.

Stay far, far away from Ghostbed. My order was never shipped to me, but I am still being charged $1,200 for shipping and restocking fees. I have talked to over 20 different people in their organization and they are just rude and demeaning. They literally laugh at the fact that you will pay thousands of dollars for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. When you keep contacting them, they will just ban you from communicating with them. I never thought that there would be such a corrupt and dishonest company in the United States. The CEO and board should be ashamed of what goes on at Ghostbed. Steer clear of this company and advise your friends and family to do the same.

Scammers! Ordered mattresses two weeks ago and we were told they would be shipped in 24 hours. After two weeks…They never notified us of delays. When we contacted them, we are told the delays were due to FedEx and pandemic issues. I contacted FedEx and they confirmed that they don’t have the order in their possession. The mattresses are sitting in GhostBed warehouse! I then requested to cancel the order. But now GhostBed is charging us 15% total order + $25 each for pillows and sheets + $150 for each mattress. (2 twins). Even though it hasn’t been shipped or they can’t even confirm to us when it will be shipped. Scammers. Stay away. Refund our money GhostBed!!!

Before I get into the details, I would highly suggest going to a store to purchase a bed. I would not trust online companies. When you think about sleep, it is so important. It affects your livelihood, your day-to-day life, and your health. If the bed that you have to sleep in is one that you don't love, it makes your life very hard. I've had very many nights where I have been in tears because I've had to sleep in a bed that just was not for me, and when that causes me pain. This company itself I would not trust based on our communication, issues, and our hassles. I really hope that this review can help somebody make a different decision, because I really wish I would have seen one like this before we purchased the GhostBed.
So, let's get into it. My husband purchased one of the GhostBed pillows, and after falling in love with it, convinced me that we should try the GhostBed. We had been looking for a king size bed for a while, so after looking up other reviews and using their sleep quiz on the website, we purchased the Flex with the bedframe. They also sent two free pillows as a promotion. The shipping was very quick, and it arrived in less than 5 days.
After being really excited to try a new mattress with so much promise, after 13 days of having to sleep on it, I was frustrated. I had no idea how anyone could find this mattress remotely comfortable or even well made. There is a 30-day policy before you are allowed to return, but I did write the company on their website to initiate a return as soon as I could because I knew this mattress was not for me.
The company never responded to that initial request on their website. We did phone them about a week later, and they offered to send us a free foam topper, but I did not want that because it would really defeat the purpose of having a comfy mattress, especially for my husband who wanted the cooling features. We declined that and asked if we could return, but they said to call back after 30 days. About a week later, we called back because we had reached the 30-day mark. At this point, they told us to fill out the form on their website, and we said we had already done so but hadn't had a response. They said the person that dealt with returns was not in and to call back another time.
After playing phone tag and having to call MULTIPLE times, we were finally able to speak to the person to return the mattress. They told us that they would set us up with a charity in our area and once the mattress was in the hands of the charity, they would refund us. The bed frame was non-refundable, which was fine. We also asked about the "free pillows" and said that we would like to return those too, because they were not comfortable (terrible, actually), and said we didn't want to get charged for them because they were supposed to be "free." They told us we paid for the pillows, which we didn't, but we said we would return them. They then told us we would have to pay for shipping back for the "free" pillows, because apparently they said we paid $214 for them (we definitely did not).
To make a long story even longer, the charity that was supposed to pick up the bed didn't service our area. When we called Ghostbed to tell them that, they asked us to call charities in our area to try to get one to take the bed. WE actually called three places, and none of them took used mattresses. They then asked US to find a friend or family member to donate the bed to and to take pictures to prove that we actually donated the bed. This 100 night free trial does not come without any hassle. Why would it be OUR responsibility to figure out what to do with this mattress to get a refund when there is a 100 night guarantee?
We told them we just wanted them to return the bed because nobody we knew would want it and we didn't want to go through that hassle. After ANOTHER MONTH of playing phone tag, they tried to offer us some money back if we kept the mattress. We figured we might be able to sell it if we did this, so we were able to negotiate them giving us back $2000 CAD (we paid $2300 for the mattress). They told us it would take 14 business days to receive the refund.
After 14 business days, we hadn't received the refund, so we had to call back AGAIN. They then told us that since we got the mattress on sale, they could not give us a refund of that amount and offered us $500. We told them we absolutely did not want $500 for a mattress that we do not want to keep, and said we would like to return it as PROMISED in the 100 night free trial. They again said they were going to get back to us and have someone come to pick up the bed. Mind you, this entire time, I have been sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress which affects your sleep, livelihood, and day to day life when you do not get a good night's rest.
After about 2 months of phone tag and having to be a little stern with their customer service, we were able to get a full refund, but Ghostbed was unable to pick the mattress up from our house. To make matters worse, they sent us the WRONG BRACKETS to attach a headboard to the base. When we finally got a mattress that we wanted, we attempted to attach the headboard with the brackets they sent, but they sent the wrong ones. We knew it would be a hassle to contact them again, so we didn't bother.
Overall, I would highly suggest going to a store and trying mattress. I no longer trust beds that come in a box, especially after having this Ghostbed. We were unable to sell the mattress and we still have it, and after sleeping on it for for more than 60 days, you can tell exactly where somebody sleeps because there is an indent where a body would be. Doesn't seem like a mattress that would be supportive at all with that type of permanent dent (and we are not very large people). I also don't understand how anyone could find this mattress comfortable in any way. It seems cheaply made, and I much prefer our old mattress that was only 7 years old. This is a mistake I have learned from and I will never purchase from Ghostbed again.

I bought this very expensive Ghostbed topper based on the description on their website. They say 3”, but this is closer to 2”. They say cooling, but I have never slept hotter. This topper is more an egg-crate piece of foam than a memory foam. I am a side sleeper and this topper does not help with hip or back pain. I have spent half the money for a better topper. I feel as though I was completely deceived by this company. They also DO NOT make their return policy clear. Stay away from this company, as they are not honest and do not stand by their product.

What you'll have a hard time finding while you are shopping for a GhostBed mattress is the EXACT return policy if you are unsatisfied with their mattress. Couple of things before you waste your money:
2. If you do not open the frame and want to return, that'll cost you 20%, even if you refuse at door.
3. If you need to make any changes to your order, including cancel, within an hour of placing, you cannot.
4. If you do return the mattress, GhostBed will less the value given any promotion, including additional promotions applied to other purchases - like frames and pillows.
5. If you do want to return your mattress, you'll need to call or email them, then wait 3 or more days to receive a call back/email back. This is all assuming the representative you speak with actually submits a return (first three calls did not).
6. Good luck with them ever finding your order number - you'll need to provide your email each time.
Saatva was SO much easier to deal with and they have a "plain as day" return fee and policy.

Had problems with shipping. Ghostbed's customer service didn't do anything after being asked repeatedly. Then when I did get it it was left on the street in the rain 3 stories from my condo door. Worst online Experience Is I have ever had.

I decided to try out their memory foam pillow after I saw it recommended on many websites that review “the best” pillows available. It didn’t end up working out for me as I have issues with neck pain and did not find this pillow helped with my neck pain after doing the 30 day trial. I sent the pillow back and kept a receipt for tracking. They received the pillow back on November 17th and since then I have contacted their customer service department 3 times by phone and 3 times by email. Every few days I would call to try to get them to give me a solid answer on how long it will take to get my refund and each time they said it would take up to 30 days, yet each time I called they kept adding to how long that 30 days would be and when the 30 days actually starts. They wouldn’t give me a straight answer.
It’s been 3 weeks and when I called tonight they said it would be 30 up to 30 days for the refund again, until they submit a ticket to the financial institution or something like that. I asked if I could have a deadline to write in my calendar as to when the 30 days is up so that if I do not receive my refund, that I can contact them again on this day, and they refused to give me a deadline. They never give straight answers and every customer service person I speak to seems to make up new rules on refunds as they go along.
I also haven’t been sent an email to review the pillow I tried out back in the beginning of October and I’m assuming they’re not going to allow me to leave a review because they know I returned the product. I also asked customer service about this and they gave a vague deadline of eventually sending me an email to write a review after my 30 day trial which I’ve already obviously completed since I’ve returned the pillow 3 weeks ago. They also take a long time to get back to you when you email in and sometimes don’t respond at all. I’ve never dealt with such a shady company, they seem to be stalling giving me my refund for some reason and it’s been a ridiculous and stressful process to try to get my money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I just want people to know the real deal of how they handle customer service here. I ordered a Ghostbed from their website thinking I got a great deal. Come to find out I found a way better price on costco.com so I called them back to cancel that order or at least see if they could meet me in the middle. Mind you I called within 24 hours. It would’ve been a savings of more than $1500 and they told me there’s nothing they can do and they can’t stop the process at this point once I ordered it. The bed had not even been shipped at this point, I talked to three different people including two managers and everybody told me there’s nothing they could do for me. Apparently since I called and asked to cancel it because I found a way better price I will no longer have any way to have their trial time.
If We don’t like the bed for any reason we are no longer able to send it back because of the fact that I wanted to get a different price so they now put it in their computer system that I am not allowed to send the mattress back. Just make sure you do your research and do not order from them if you have any thoughts that you might not like something or you think that they might be able to help you if something is wrong. I couldn’t be more Disappointed in the way they handled my situation. I can see if they didn’t want to do something if it was a couple hundred dollars but $1500 is a lot of money to have of a difference and there was no compromise with anybody in the customer service department! It was pretty much like I was told, "Well sorry but there’s nothing I can do for you!"

I was so excited to buy a smart bed. I spent amongst 14k for the split King mattress, adjustable base, protector and sheets. It included 2 free pillows. They sent a regular King mattress which defeats the purpose of a split king base. The manager told me to box it up and FedEx would pick it up and a split king will be sent. FedEx states it is too big for ground. It’s now been a month and no one has picked up the mattress, the split king, sheets and protector never came. Mind you I was also told by this same manager that I needed headboard brackets and legs. I did not. I had to ship them back at my expense. The tracking numbers show they were received. Ghostbed won’t acknowledge nor give me a refund on Anything. They was so quick to communicate with me while I was buying but literally went Ghost when the return was needed. Not only that, they never sent me my order. I only have an adjustable base.
Management won’t return my calls. The associate also stated that even though their site says free pillows, I won’t get them either. Also they confirmed the split king mattress has not shipped and at this point probably won’t. I still have this huge box in my home. It’s like they milked me for every penny and disappeared. I will be looking into my rights next week. Please check the reviews from independent sites, everyone with a return has the same issue I do. When I called them to buy a bed/mattress, they were very nice and said that if I didn't like it, I could "donate" and get my FULL REFUND. They NEVER once said that if I return/donate the mattress, they will take away ALL discounts and return a small amount and they weren't specific as to the adjustable base, they're NOT refundable at all!!! I paid a total of $4,259.93 and they ONLY REFUNDED ME $1,294.05!!!! They are thieves in my book. They need to be specific when it comes to their RETURN policy and NOT MISLEAD PEOPLE!!! Ordered a topper for our mattress based on 30 day shipping. We were repeatedly mislead over and over about when this would ship, no access to managers/supervisors or the like. At 7 weeks, we requested a refund and opened a case with PayPal to make sure they returned our funds. Ghostbed replied through PayPal and indicated we would have to drop our case to process the refund or be subject to up to 75 more days to get out funds returned! PayPal confirmed this was totally untrue, we elevated our case to a claim and won, PayPal then forced them to refund our money after almost 2.5 months of being jerked around! We are so thankful we had PayPal to go to bat for us or I’m sure we would still be getting the run around for a product that was never even available. This company is not a legitimate, honest business. Avoid at all costs!!

I ordered a $200 twin mattress topper on August 19, 2021. I was informed the item would ship within two weeks. It is now November 4, 2021, and I have contacted them 4 time asking when I will receive the item. Each time I have been told it should ship out soon. Read all the reviews on this site. They immediately take your money and never ship what is paid for. I would consider them fraudulent and they should be investigated.

I placed an order for a topper and it was charged to my credit card immediately. Yes the website said it would be 15-20 days to ship. After about 14 days I inquired if they could give me a date. Nope. Then they sent sent an email saying it would ship Friday Oct 15. Didn't happen. I emailed either ship by the 19th or give a refund as fast as they charged my card. Not sure which is slower, a refund or a non-existent shipping department and terrible customer service. They had the nerve to give referrals on a product I never got to use.

Truly awful product and company. I have not found the gel bed cool or comfortable. When I wanted to return the product because the sides of the bed collapse and you slide to the floor, the company wanted to know what temperature my bedroom was. My $150 mattress I bought at Costco for an extra mattress is just as comfortable.

I purchased a mattress topper from Ghostbed mostly because they advertise that their product doesn't have any chemical smells. It reeks and you will not be able to use it right away due to the strong chemical odor. They also advertise returns for any reason up to 100 days after purchase. I wanted to return the topper because it is really firm and I was looking for a product that would soften up my already firm mattress. The return policy only applies to mattresses, not toppers because they classify toppers as personal items. That makes me wonder what a mattress is since it is about as personal as it gets. BUYER BEWARE.

The moment I tried to return my GhostBed, they "Voided" my "101-Night No-Risk" sleep trial. Their "no-hassle" return policy is a lie. The customer service process was adversarial all the way up the managerial ladder. Do not do business with this company. Maybe their mattresses would be comfortable for you, but there are plenty of mattress companies out there with more integrity who will honor their advertised guarantees.

WORST COMPANY EVER! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I wish I had read the reviews on here before making my purchase. I purchased a mattress after mine was damaged in Hurricane Ida because the delivery time was short. Even considering the delays in shipping due to the storm and the pandemic, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MATTRESS. I tried calling the company to have them track it down, and they can't figure out why it hasn't been shipped to me.
After a month of not having a bed and sleeping on my couch, I decided to try to get a refund. They told me that there's nothing they can do until the package is delivered and if I want to cancel/return my order I would have to refuse the delivery. I asked them how I would refuse a delivery THAT NEVER ARRIVES. (I've also talked to FedEx about it and they're just as horrible). No one will give me any answers, NOR WILL THEY EMAIL ME INFORMATION I'VE ASKED FOR REPEATEDLY.
Someone from Admin Support finally emailed me and told me that they were going to charge a 15% restocking fee when I refused the order THAT I NEVER RECEIVED and wanted to charge me to keep the pillows THAT CAME FREE with my $1300 purchase. They will not send me a prepaid label to send the pillows back but want me to pay for them! I've called multiple times and keep getting told that a supervisor will call me back. One week later, NO ONE HAS CALLED ME. Absolutely HORRIBLE "customer service" and an even worse company. I'll be posting this review in multiple places.

I ordered the GhostSheets. "The Coolest Sheets in the World," which is nothing short of a load of **. I made this purchase simply on their misleading idea that they were supposed to be cool sheets, and they did the absolute opposite. These sheets were pooling my sweat to the top instead of soaking in, making it even more impossible to sleep. They also wrinkle like no other sheets I've ever seen, right out of the washer and dryer (followed direct instructions). I contacted their support to get a return and refund, who told me to take specific pictures for them, in which I did. Afterwards they replied after and informed me that they have a NO RETURN policy; STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! I ordered the Sleepnumber stay cool sheets and they were a world-of-a-difference better!

Ghostbed needs to restructure their return/refund policy or this will be their demise. I purchased two sets of twin sheets from them and unfortunately I have to return them. When I contacted the company they responded back and told me that I had to pay a 15% restocking fee along with shipping charges. I was blown away so I contacted them back and told them that I don’t believe the restocking fee or shipping charges are fair to charge the consumer. Their refund/return policy is inconspicuously hidden on their website. If I had seen this policy before purchasing the sheets I would’ve never made my purchase.
After I contacted them for the second time their response turned into a pity party. The representative told me that they are a small business of only 60 employees and they cannot afford to take on any further expenses. What an odd response to give a customer. If you don’t have the financial means to run your business efficiently and give your customers the best possible service then don’t open your business. Also their website is misleading. After you place your products in your cart and scroll down to their secure checkout button, it says free shipping and returns. Really not a good look Ghostbed.

We ordered a split king adjustable base and mattresses. White glove delivery ended up being cancelled and it was forwarded to our house (per our request because we would have had to wait another 3 weeks). FedEx only delivered two of the packages and the other two never arrived (after waiting over a week from the assigned delivery day). Ghostbed refused to offer any help except to tell me to keep waiting. We decided to cancel and send back the two packages we had received. Those packages were received by Ghostbed on the 19th and 24th of August, but they refuse to issue my refund until they receive the items Fedex has lost, the items that were never delivered to my house.
I was told to make my Affirm payment for an item I do not have and wait for them to get the packages from fed ex that were never in my possession or take the hit to my credit. How can I be responsible to get packages back to you that were never in my possession? This is an issue between them and fedex, but they are holding my money hostage. If you value your time, money, and sanity do not even consider this company. RUN.

I'll start off by saying I am not a person who has written a review in the past, but my experience with this company was horrible. I placed the order and they took the payment and they sent a confirmation stating my order would ship shortly. After 7 days I contacted them and asked when I could expect my order to ship, they responded t 2 days later and said that they did not know because they were experiencing production and logistic delays, which certainly would have changed my placing of this order had I known that. 7 more days go by and I sent another email (because the number they gave me no one answers) inquiring again about the timeframe of shipping my order, they responded and told me that it would at least 2 more weeks before my order was available for shipping.
I told them to cancel my order, 2 days later I get an email, stating that they would cancel my order and that it would be up to 15 days for them to give me my money back.. As far as I am concerned this company is a joke. I should have done my homework and read other people's experiences which it turns out there are many with a similar experience. Product might be good, but buyer be careful, because if you need this product don't expect it anytime soon.

I ordered the luxe mattress with 2 free pillows. I could have ordered from others vendors but wanted the pillows so I placed the order directly with Ghostbed. I now regret it! Mattress was ordered 6/19 with delivery due 6/21 but was actually delivered 6/22. The pillows are what I'm having issues with. It's now 8/11 and I still don't have pillows. Pillows were supposed to be delivered 6/24 and I live in a complex that has lockboxes. When I receive packages I get notifications via text and emails but did not receive a text message nor email.
I contacted the lockbox company and the management company to give me access to the lockbox but there were no packages for me. And they have cameras but nothing was delivered in that timeframe. I contacted Ghostbed 6/24 via email but received no response. I called the following week and was told I'd receive an answer within 48 hours but still nothing. I called a week later and was promised that someone would escalate it to a manager. Every time I call I'm told that a manager would contact me directly but I'm having to be the one who follows up with a Ghostbed "customer service representative". Ghostbed DOES NOT CARE about their customers. If they did I would have results but instead, I'm fed with ** lies and empty promises. If customers were a priority they would have responded to my emails without me having to call. STAY AWAY from GHOSTBED!!!

I ordered a Mattress Topper and a Pillow a few weeks back. I received the Pillow over the weekend and intend to keep it however, the Mattress Topper is allegedly not yet available "due to high demand" according to an e-mail from Ghostbed. After looking over their reviews throughout the internet (including here at BBB) I didn't feel right about their reply and sensed this was going to turn into a nightmare so I canceled the order. I finally got a response this morning (August 9th, 2021) and was told that the refund would take up to 15 days! This is a refund for an item I NEVER RECIEVED AND HAS NEVER EVEN BEEN SHIPPED!
I have read many other customer reviews about this Ghostbed some even stating that their refunds were waiting in some sort of queue line. I find this ridiculous. It should NOT take this long for a refund for an item that has NOT BEEN SHIPPED! I would avoid dealing with Ghostbed at all costs. They have an AWFUL reputation and I don't even think these Mattress Toppers actually exist since I haven't seen one REAL review about them on anywhere aside from their own websites and those reviews are only like a month old. I want my refund in a fair and just manner. I should not have to wait 15 days!! I would accept maybe 3 days to process it BECAUSE THE ITEM WAS NEVER SHIPPED. Once again, as I mentioned, I have seemed countless people dealing with the same issue.. This is horrendous customer service and I would not recommend Ghostbed to anyone. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else!

Horrible Company!, if you can call it a company. Buyer Beware! I purchased the mattress and adjustable foundation from Ghostbed. Two separate pieces with 2 separate discounts which is listed on the receipt. Before the trial period expired, I asked for a return as the mattress slept hot and I followed instructions and donated the mattress as instructed and as acknowledged by Ghostbed. They then informed me that the mattress that I paid $2100 for, I would only receive a refund for $1,400 as they were taking all of the discounts offered on both the mattress AND the adjustable foundation and applying them to the refund. ($2100 minus $700.)
The adjustable foundation is non-returnable and I never asked to return it. They state it is in their terms and conditions yet their refund policy states "Full Refund". There is a very loose reference in their terms and conditions but the interpretation is extremely loose and would easily be squashed by a lawyer. These folks don't make their money off of satisfied customers, they make their money off of returns which I guarantee paid for the mattress and then some. Do Not believe that you will get a full refund on the Sleep Trial from Ghostbed for any reason as you will get ripped off as well.

We purchased a Ghost Pillow in May with a ship date the next week. Then we got an email that the ship date would take longer but they did not provide us with a new date. We decided to cancel the order and purchase another pillow from another company. Weeks later they shipped the pillow anyway and charged us. We called them to find out what to do with the pillow we no longer wanted. They told us they would send us a return label and that we could the pillow and receive a refund. They received the pillow back and we have proof from FedEx that that "Alonzo" in their warehouse signed for the return. It is now almost three weeks later but no refund.
After having many online chats and emails with them to resolve this and find out what's happening with our refund, we are told they don't have a record of the pillow ever being received. When we ask to speak with a supervisor we are told there is no one available and someone will get back to us. When asked for our refund we are told someone from the finance dept. will get back to us. No one ever gets back to us. We have now spent approx. 6 hours online and on calls trying to get the refund for a $69 pillow.
We are now working with our credit card company to get the charge reversed but GhostBed has disputed our dispute and said we still have the pillow. Needless to say, our experience with Ghost bed has been extremely frustrating. It makes me wonder if all of the wonderful reviews are even real reviews. Will never purchase from them again and will make sure everyone I know doesn't either.

I purchased the bundle, Luxe mattress and adjustable bedframe. The mattress arrived defective and did not expand to full 13" (ever). It is liking lying in a bowl of mush and by the way the Luxe is NOT cooling as it claims. I contacted the company and was told to take pictures of the damage, the law tags and take measurements, which I did. The tags were not accessible as they told me wrong locations twice (until I crawled under the bedframe, found them and awkwardly took pics with my cellphone in a 2" gap between the wall and bed). Note the mattress and frame together weigh around 300+ lbs, so no moving it.
After several communications back and forth, GhostBed did not replace the defective mattress as part of their 101 night false advertising trial. I did receive an email from support early on stating that "replacement" is not part of the 101 night trial. I had to go through my credit card company to get a credit back and I will have to pay to have the mattress hauled away. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are plenty of competitors who have great product and fair consumer policies and customer service.

This was a terrible experience. I was bullied into placing an order before I missed the special they were running for 40% off a bundle only to find out they always have that special. The salesman told me they never run that special and it was a great deal. I was also told he would gift us two pillows. After trying the mattress and adjustable base I wasn’t happy with either one. I called to process a return. Well the 101 night guarantee they have plastered all over their website doesn’t show that. It's just on the mattress and the base isn’t included in that. They do not offer returns on the base. I was told you find that out after you read the FAQ page... I don’t read FAQ. I read reviews which were all great on the website.. I found out later why all the reviews are good and it’s because they review them and only place the ones on their website they want on there. My review still is not on their website.
I wish I would have done more homework before I made this purchase. The massage function on the bed is not quiet at all like they state on the website and the light flickers at night randomly under the bed so I have to have the bed unplugged because I am afraid of a fire. When I contacted the company about this I was told they would send me out the equipment to change myself and see if that fixes the problem. When you are gifted pillows they will charge you if you do not return them at your own expense when you return/donate the mattress. Also the base goes up to full price so you now pay almost double for the base and get a small refund for the mattress.
After looking a bit more into this company I had no way to contact management, customer service is awful. When I waited for a call all I would get were emails from a "Manager." One email even stated for the supposedly manager to call me from customer service with a note at the top that read "Beware of this lady!" Nice of the “manager” to forward that on to me the customer or “that lady”. I reviewed BBB and was shocked by the complaints. I really wish I would have reviewed their website before I made this purchase. So sad I work as a nurse during this whole pandemic and was just hoping for some relief with my back and hip pain only to have a mattress that didn’t help and a purchase I wish I never made. So sad now I need to go back and search for a new mattress and keep a base that has to stay unplugged because I’m afraid of a fire. Thank you to GhostBed.

I purchased a GhostBed Luxe King Bundle with the adjustable base. The mattress was very uncomfortable so we decided to return it under the 101 night trial policy. Although we were aware that we would have to keep the base, GhostBed stated they would remove all discounts and we would only receive a $415 credit for a mattress that is normally $2545.00 but is currently discounted to $1782.00 if purchased separately. We paid $2980.00 for the bundle meaning they stuck us with the base for $2565.00.... Their sleep trial is a SCAM! Not to mention the cheap parts for the adjustable base are made in China!

I've had my GhostBed mattress for three and a half years, and we already had to buy a new mattress (from another brand). For the last six months, my partner and I have had awful back pain, and only after sleeping on a blow-up camping mattress did we learn that it's our mattress. We get better sleep on an $80 air mattress than this bed. The warranty is a joke. Since it's been over a year, I can only get a replacement mattress, and even then I would have to pay shipping costs. I don't want another one of these mattresses! It's wild that they only guarantee that their mattresses will stay intact for a year. What a scam.
Don't believe the reviews on their website either. I tried to leave a review using the review link GhostBed emailed me, but it's been too long and the link has expired. When I tried to leave a review directly on their website it's hidden since I'm not a "verified buyer." So basically, all the great reviews on their website are from people who have only had their bed for a few months or a year at most, but the mattresses start to break down within a few years.

Ghostbed is a scam! My wife and I ordered the best quality that ghost bed had to offer, only to learn their service and product is subpar to other brands. After placing the order, we received the incorrect size pillows and bed protector that they never did replace. After assembling our new bed, we realized that after several nights of sleep that this was the worst bed we had ever slept on. Ghostbed makes you keep the mattress for 30 days before you can replace or receive a refund. During that time we slept on our couches in the living room just to get a decent night s sleep.
Their money back guarantee is an absolute joke. After finding out their firm mattress is really not firm at all, we decided to return ours. This is where it really goes down hill. Customer service says they will put in ticket for manager to call back, still waiting for that call after 4 weeks. Customer service will hang up on you after you say you'll stay on the phone for a manager, then when you call back that agent will block your number. Buyer beware, Don't believe the amazing reviews on their site. You can find much better quality products for less money at Sam's Club and Mattress Firm. We would never recommend Ghost bed to anyone.

First I would like to state that I also should have read reviews before purchasing this product. I am 24 days in and still waiting for my refund. They take about a week to return emails with generic, non-helpful sayings like, “processed, relayed concerns”. Every interaction I have had with customer service they have raised their voice and been rather rude. I supported them because many DOD and military do, that was a mistake they do not deserve my business with their proven record and communication style. For 1700 dollars I expected more! Very disappointed.

I am going to start this by saying I really wished I would have read the customer service reviews prior to making this purchase. I was hesitant to purchase a bed online and it ended up being a worse experience than I could have imagined due to their customer service. First off, do not expect to get the bed in 2-5 as advertised. In fact, do not even expect a tracking number in that time. I contacted Ghost bed a couple times about why it was taking so long and received the corporate answer about logistics issues and it will ship “next week.” It took 18 days for the bed to arrive at the logistics company so they could set up delivery for the white glove delivery I purchased. It was two days later when I finally got the bed (no fault of theirs, scheduling issues).
The second part of the nightmare with this purchase began with their return policy. I ordered the headboard brackets and the 6-inch legs for a total cost of over $300.00. When I ordered the headboard brackets I accidentally ordered two boxes and am stuck with them since they are not eligible for return. I now realize I do not need the 6-inch legs and am stuck with them as well. Their return policy states ONLY the mattress can be returned for a full refund. I didn’t read the fine print (All other items are final sale and can not be returned) and assumed this meant if you were not satisfied with the bed after the trial period all you could was return was the mattress and not the base.
I did contact Ghost Bed and they said I could return the items if I paid for shipping and they would tack on a $25.00 freight fee and a 15% restocking fee. I am pretty sure I would lose money if I did return the items so I spent $300.00 on items that will go in the trash since I didn’t even need the one set of headboard brackets I purchased.
Overall, the bed is fine for the money I spent. I will not recommend Ghost Bed to anyone I know that is looking for a bed due to the customer service. I have never heard of a return policy as strict as theirs and most companies will usually make exceptions to policy when a customer spends as much money as I did. I really hope the mattress/base works out and I do not need to contact Ghost Bed for any other assistance.

I ordered a king split adjustable bed frame and 2 twin XL mattresses from Ghostbed. I spent over $4400. When I was in process of checking out something popped up offering me additional % off. I selected the additional discount, completed my order and saw the amount had changed by over $400. I figured I accidentally selected "Head to Toe Bundle" but was ok with that as it included sheets, etc. that I was going to need so I was ok with that. The bed arrived but no sheets. I got on my computer chat with a Ghostbed rep who informed me I didn't order sheets. I said I am also missing the free "pillows". He said the "extra discount" caused me not to get pillows but never explained why my price changed so drastically during the checkout process.
After I disconnected with the rep on chat, I starting researching to see what exactly happened and discovered that by accepting the "extra discount" that showed up when I was checking out, I lost option of getting free pillows and it added an extra $412 to my bill. I immediately emailed customer service. I received an email back several days later. The best they could give me was an in store credit of 7% which was equal to $412. By this time I was too mad to accept any of their offers. I called them on phone and was told by a rep, they couldn't do anything else. I told them everything is still in box and I will be sending it all back. I was then put on hold and the rep came back and said she would be able to credit my card $412. Of course it would take 30 days but never the less, I was getting my refund.
I then ask her to cancel the extra legs I ordered and the headboard attachment. Even though those 2 items hadn't been sent yet, she couldn't stop the order since it had already been sent to their warehouse. However, once I receive them, I can return them and just pay shipping and a restocking fee. At that point I was over it. Whatever.
A few days later someone else from Ghostbed must have seen my original email and felt like fighting so I got another email from Ghostbed telling me that I can send everything back and pay a 20% restocking fee but they aren't going to give me any money back. However they were able to cancel the headboard connector and extra legs. At the point of reading this new email I had already seen the request for $412 refund from them come over in an email so I wasn't worried about that and I was thrilled to know the extra legs and headboard connector was officially canceled. I was also laughing at the thought of just how screwed up their support staff must be. One rep can't cancel an order but another could make it happen.
To close, I got everything I requested but as you can see it took a while and the right hand doesn't appear to know what left hand is doing. I do love my bed but there has to be a similar bed company with way better customer service. If you do order from this company, don't accept the extra discounts that may pop up while checking out because it will take away from their standard 40% discount. It will not be added on as I thought it would be and to get it refunded is a hassle.

Be careful ordering a mattress directly from this company. They have denied my return because of a loophole! My 101 was voided by them. Didn't try to come to a solution. They said it was due to my actions. Why? I bought the bed during the Black Friday promo. I was told the bed would arrive on Dec 15th. They then told me 3 other dates and wouldn't be able to deliver this until the end of Jan. 2021. I was tired of waiting and annoyed and asked them to cancel this order. They refused and said it couldn't be cancelled.
The bed arrived at my front door on Jan 4th. I was happy to finally have this bed and ready. I spent a long time researching this bed. However, as a couple, we found this mattress unsupportive and caused backaches every day. When I tried to return the 101 no hassle return, they refused.. Why. Because I had already tried to cancel this bed. (Due to their fulfilment issues).
I tried many times for them to help and come to a solution, Ghostbed/Natural Sleep refuse and refer to the fine print. This is horrible, and now I have a $3000 bed that is not a good fit and does nothing promised! I have all the conversations... even one by a manager offering to send free sheets because of all the shipping issues. She stated, if you don't like the mattress and choose to return it that I can keep the free sheet set as it isn't tied to the order! If I didn't want the bed then I would have just refused shipment. I find this terrible. Shame on them!

I purchased this bed after some research. I chose this company because if I didn’t like it I could returned it. I paid a little over $2000 for a bundle package. I received the base only to find out the mattress was on back order. I was not told at anytime that the mattress was back ordered. I wanted to return the base but was told the base was not returnable. The 101 night guarantee does not apply to the base only the mattress. I’m 83 years old and I have a base and do not know when the mattress is coming. Nowhere in the guarantee statement does it state that the base is not covered under the 101 nights.

Ordered my GhostBed... Had to take 3 days off work, because the pieces arrived 3 separate days.... Then over 30 days later.. I still have not received my pillows that were promised to me. Went on their chat site and provided all Serial #s of the products and model #s and they indicated that they could not find my purchase.... REALLY.... All I want at this time is my pillows that were promised to me; however they can not even follow through with that. Frustrating.

We purchased and the day it was delivered called because all of the screws on bottom of bed were stripped out. Bed frame worst cheapest quality available, particle board. I had to file cc fraud for not product ordered as they would not return or refund without restocking fee when we never even got to set up. When I said I would explain about not receiving product as described and cc lawyer would contact them she said as soon as lawyer is brought up they can no longer speak to me. No manager available. Do Not Buy Beds!!!

I recently tried asking for a return from Ghostbed. Somehow because they did not like my thoughts on their company they banned me from getting a refund. Their policy on the page says hassle free returns. 101 night trial. you do have to keep it 30 days. It turns out they can just say no return.

Tried to return the mattresses after 30days, won’t let me, just full of reasons, they voided my 101 sleep guarantee, because I said the mattresses moves around, because it is not comfortable, they promise if you are not happy, and they cannot make it right, you will get a refund, they lie, they won’t even return my messages or emails just said no return and 101 night guarantee voided, this company is a horrible, so now I have a expensive bed sitting in the closet because we can’t sleep it because it’s that uncomfortable, I would avoid this company like the plague, I even tried to get the bbb to help but nothing.... This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I bought mattress because of the 101 day money back guarantee. It took month to get the company to honor my request to return the mattress. After picking up the mattress, it took them more than a month to issue a refund. And that is only because I have emailed them constantly and posted a negative video review online. The Luxe cooling mattress sounds good, it really is not. It was so squishy. Nothing cooling about it all from what I noticed. I tried filing a complaint with BBB but they had so many other negative 1 star reviews. Worst company I have dealt with and I will not ever purchase anything from them again.

The delivery people are fine but then they are not Ghostbed employees. We have had these beds (2 xl twins) for 10 days. We ordered one night and the beds and free pillows came about 6 days later. The trouble is we ordered The Head to Toe Bundles (2), which come with 1 pillow and a set of sheets each (and at the time 2 more free pillows). So there should have been 4 pillows, 2 sets of sheets and I would assume instructions and a warranty card. When the beds were delivered we received 2 pillows with them and 2 sets of French instructions and warranty cards. So we were missing 2 pillows and 2 sets of sheets.
I immediately went on to chat with customer service and they said the items missing would be coming from a different location and that they would be here within a week. I also asked if I needed the boxes in case of return and they told me to discard them, so I did. The instructions were not necessary except for the fact that when I chatted with them about the above missing items, I decided to ask for a set of English instructions, in case, I moved or became dotty over the years. They sent me to a website to download them which is fine. So when I went to register I didn't know where to get the serial #, which is necessary. I made the mistake of chatting with them again.
When I asked where I would get the number for the warranty, she curtly chatted back that it is on the box, (which I had already thrown out) on the instruction booklet (which was in French and also thrown out as I don't speak French) and under the bed (which I had someone set up for me and I (at 73 yrs. old) would have to lay on the floor to find).
All in all, it was an absolutely horrible experience. It has been 10 days since delivery and today I received 2 more pillows this afternoon. Instead of being mistreated by the people on the chat option I phoned. The girl that answered was not rude but definitely didn't seem to enjoy her job. She said that the sheets were supposed to come last week but she didn't know why they didn't. She assured me they would be delivered this coming week sometime. So I agree with one of the other reviews that said, that they thought they may make delivery on some things harder just because they may view the customer as a bit of a pain. The beds so far, are fair. I have had an automatic bed before and it isn't any better, but it is what it is.
I am writing this review to let you know that if you are looking for a bed, it isn't the worst but don't expect all items at the same time or any kind of customer service, if you run into problems. I would take the time to look around for a bit, even though I did not take my own advice. Go to consumer reviews and not the wonderful ones posted on their site, as with anything you are purchasing online.

We purchased an Adjustable Ghostbed from Costco a year ago for my senior mother.. Everything mechanically has worked thus far and it is what you get for your money, because at first the bed was pretty comfortable, but after a year, she started to complain, so we ended up getting a memory foam topper, which has been much better. Now let's get to the Customer Service Part of this... We ended up moving and misplaced the retainer bar, so started with the chat before Nov. 11, 2020 on their website and then it went to emails from there. They ask for order# when purchased bed, and the serial #'s under the bed to make sure we are receiving the correct retainer bar, which makes complete sense, however in my case, this was not what happened. (Mind you, there is a specific dept. of Ghostbed if purchased your bed through Costco, which only can help you.).
First time person was nice, but seemed very scattered and when I did talk to her over the phone, she seemed very unclear about product replacement parts. I received bar, it was totally the wrong one, I again contacted and they told me that Ghost bed changed their items numbers and did not let her know about it. I was very sympathetic, because I know things happen and mistakes can be made. So now I print a label they sent to return the wrong retainer bar (their mistake) and have to drive to FedEx to drop off. This is weeks in the making.
She then sends 2nd retainer bar out and does not give me a tracking number, so then I wait a week and then check my emails to see if she sent a tracking number with out my knowledge and she did not, so I contact her through email & she says that it already was received first week of December. I then tell her that I did not receive item, asked what address she sent it to and she sent it to our old address, when the first retainer bar was sent to our current and right address, (changed it when I talked and emailed her the first time) so how can there be a mistake? This was 4 days after the item was received to old house which was being sold, so did not know if the item would be there.
Ran out of work same day I contacted her, to old house and found nothing, had to contact Realtor to see if maybe she grabbed it, and she did not, but she said buyers were at the house and maybe they put in the house. Next day found out that buyers did find it on porch and put it in house, so then I was able to go track it down again and pick it up, only to find out, that IT WAS THE EXACT WRONG RETAINER BAR! At that point I contacted Ghost bed again, asked for a Supervisor, when they told me the person I was talking to is a Manager.. UGG.. I told Customer Service person that I did not want to talk to the same person and to please give my issue to someone else. Did I add in this review, that I PAID for the part!! She said she would send an email to another person with my complaint..
Next day, I received an email for a male and he basically told me that he is sending out the right retainer bar and sent pictures of it, which happen to be chrome and the one we had was black, so I asked if I was getting a chrome, there was no reply. I am assuming that it will come in Chrome.. UGG again if that will be the case. I asked for it to be overnighted, after just emailing him, he said he could not do it, because he already sent it out. I then asked to get a label to return the again wrong retainer bar, and he said that I could just dispose of it how I would like. Now I am afraid they might charge me for it, if I do dispose of it, even if I have proof through email.
I then asked for credit on the retainer bar, which you would think some compensation should of been addressed with the over a month of dealing with this issue. He told me that he could not give credit for a nonreturnable item, but yet the wrong retainer bar received can be disposed of? Makes you think??? He also told me that we are still able to use adjustable bed without bar, which is untrue, the bed slides forward when the head adjusts to up position. Hence have the retainer bar at end of bed to catch it. What a joke! I then wrote an email back telling him of their very poorly ran customer service, not for the fact that I didn't get credit back, but for the runaround on this and the lack of correction the second time and the dismissive comments on their part. His response "Thanks for the reply, have a great day". What I received the whole time on this process.
I WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY! Steer away from any part of their customer service!!! They definitely need to do some work internally!!! I will be sending this same review to Costco, hoping they think differently about carrying their product. Just a side note.. Their reviews on their website are very suspicious, they are all mostly 5 stars, this can't be correct, and there is no place to write a review, so I wonder where the reviews are coming from? Still waiting for Correct Retainer bar, said it should arrive by the December 17th, 2020.

I was concerned about the sleep trial and having to return it if I didn’t like it; that is until the first night I slept on it. Had 6 hours of sleep and it felt like 8. Over the course of the next week I didn’t need my usual energy drinks at work as I was extremely well rested. Even a couple weeks ago I was helping my father move, even after lifting everything from boxes to a half ton safe, I walked away sore, went to bed, woke up the next day feeling 100% refreshed. I have been telling EVERYONE about this bed. I CAN. NOT. STRESS. THIS. ENOUGH... GhostBed lives up to the hype. I will never own another bed.

The instructions are incorrect. The middle beam to the "all in one foundation is built backwards". They are sending them out this way in mass. Customer service will not fix it or compensate for these foundations going out incorrectly. You won't be able to register for the warranty they claim you can. I have yet to hear from them on the 101 day sleep trial which I have claimed and will send back because the foundation makes it extremely uncomfortable. I highly suggest you go with another mattress and company altogether unless you like feeling like you are sleeping on the floor.

I don't have a review of any of their merchandise-didn't get that far. I actually had a horrific experience with Ghostbed customer support. I ordered a mattress and pillows in the wee hours on 8/30 on a whim, but hoping there was something to the cooling features. I also opted to pay through an installment account with Affirm since there would be no interest.
However, I had a change of heart later that SAME day and decided I would cancel my order. After struggling to find a way to contact Ghostbed customer support and waiting on hold for at least 45 minutes before I had to hang up, I sent a request for a response via email and of course there was no immediate response. I finally found the chat feature less than 24 hours after my purchase and sent my request. I was told by the first rep that it would be no problem; my order had not been processed so it wasn't too late to cancel.
About 8 hours after I had this conversation with "customer support," I got an email that my order had shipped.?? I contacted Ghostbed again via the chat feature and got a different rep. This one CONFIRMED that she saw my cancellation request, but "This sometimes happens because we ship so fast." She also said that they would try to stop the delivery before it got to me, but if FedEx still delivers, "please refuse the delivery and it will be returned to us." She even went so far to say that I should leave a note on my door to let FedEx know not to leave the packages if I missed them. I work from home so I intended to be there. She also assured me that I would not be charged. I alerted her that I had gotten a text message that Affirm was texting me about my installment agreement. She falsely assured me AGAIN when I asked if I would need to be concerned about this correspondence that "No, we'll make sure they're aware."
All of these were blatant lies. I think the people conducting customer support are working from home too and have no access to anyone who could have actually taken care of this. FedEx attempted to deliver the box of pillows twice and the 2nd time the driver refused to take them back. The mattress came about a week later and I insisted that the driver take both the mattress and pillows - both boxes so badly damaged they looked like someone had used them for batting practice.
I tried calling Ghostbed again around 9/2 and stayed on hold for an hour this time before giving up. They NEVER answer the phone. They give you an option to leave a message (but "not more than one if you've already left one"...an indication that they have a LOT of customer support issues), but to this day I'm still waiting for a phone call.
It finally occurred to me on 9/10 to see if they had a Facebook page and lo and behold, someone answered a private message, only to give me an excuse that they receive "over 1000 calls a day"- as if that's MY problem - and that they would give me a call the next day. I was so frustrated I didn't even give them any more information, hoping that I could actually return the merchandise and be DONE with them and they would have no reason to charge me anything--especially since the chat customer support rep told me the steps to take. I received confirmation that the mattress and pillows arrived in Florida by 9/16 and 9/29 respectively. I finally thought I was done.
However, Affirm began sending me notifications this month that I now owed my first payment--on merchandise I did not have or want. When I contacted this phantom and apparently ONLY customer service person on Ghostbed's Facebook page again on 10/6, she had clearly taken my frustration personally and had absolutely no concern for my issue. She told me that they had to "receive all the items back, inspect, reinvtory [sic], create the RA, send to finance and then cancel the loan." When I expressed my concern that the loan company was telling me my payment was past due and I didn't want it to end up on my credit, especially for a CANCELED ORDER and returned merchandise, her response was "any payment made will get refunded to you."
So, today, 10/15, Affirm sent me an email that I STILL owe them money because Ghostbed didn't pay the whole loan. They left me a $196.31 balance. How nice. BACK to Facebook private message to tell them that FedEx damaged the packages - not me - so if I'm being charged a restocking fee, it should be waived. The response was: "We only ship new merchandise. The restocking fee apparently is all you are being charged, as we typically would also deduct $100 for the mattress and $25 for the pillows. I'm not sure why it is only a restocking fee. But the order has been refunded." Still, because I was frustrated with this complete lack of concern and unacceptable resolution, I asked if there was ANYONE there interested in making this situation right but the final response was: "We do have policies that we apply equally to everyone. You can read the full terms of our policy at our website."
So what if I wanted to make an impulse purchase at 1:00 AM and change my mind. I'm glad I didn't have to cancel for a REAL reason that was unavoidable like a family emergency or military deployment. But now I just paid a company that I never intended to do business with for the inconvenience they caused ME. I guess they're doing so well they don't care if a potential customer was happy. They obviously don't care to have my business in the future. Great business model.

As I described in an earlier review, I liked the GhostBed mattress itself but didn't keep it because my back was sore each morning after sleeping on it - a problem I don't blame on the mattress quality, but my back. So I returned it while rating the mattress itself with 5 stars. However, the return process gets 1 star. Here's my story behind why.
I purchased a GhostBed mattress in July 2020 and initiated a request to return it one month later. While making the return request, I was first offered the opportunity for a free topper to be sent to me to help with comfort. I appreciated that, but still opted to return the mattress instead. I became dismayed to learn that despite GhostBed's "No-Hassle Refund Guarantee" isn't accurate at all. Their website says, "Tried GhostBed for 30 days, and realized it’s just not right for you? No sweat. The GhostBed customer service team will work with you to arrange pickup of your mattress. All you need to do is be home when the pickup crew arrives."
Contrary to that assurance, I was informed because of COVID-19 that I would need to PERSONALLY locate & coordinate a mattress pickup with a charitable organization local to me. That is not "no hassle" and does much more than require me to "lift a finger." That chore all by itself wouldn't have been an issue to me if it had been clearly stated on the GhostBed website prior to my purchase. But it didn't. That's either dishonest or lazy website maintenance.
In addition, I was also informed that I would need to return the two free pillows received. Ok, no problem. Except that the cost of returning them was on me. THAT is a problem. So, along with my mattress purchase I was sent two pillows that I didn't request (they were a default bonus with the mattress), had to return them, and bear the brunt of that cost (as it turns out, $24 through the cheapest USPS option). And as with the mattress return, there's nothing on the GhostBed website stating that bonus pillows received with the mattress would need to be returned at all, much less AT CUSTOMER EXPENSE if returning the mattress.
If I opted to keep the pillows, their cost would be subtracted from the final refund. So I spent the $24 to return them. I eventually was able to coordinate a mattress pickup and then sent a copy of the required pickup receipt to GhostBed support on Aug. 21. Over the course of the next several days, I sent four separate inquiries to GhostBed support via the same email address I had earlier coordinated the mattress & pillows returns. My inquiries were simply to ask how long the refund typically takes. The support person had previously been very quick to respond to me. Concerning my "how long does it take" inquiries, I never once received a reply. Never once. Even to this day.
I then began calling their support line. Found out each time I was somewhere around caller 15 waiting in line to get through. Each time, the phone voice message keep me on for roughly 20 minutes before simply dropping me. Interestingly the voice holding message periodically came back saying, "Wow! You're still holding. We are sorry..." as if THEY couldn't even believe a calling customer would actually wait that long on the phone.
So finally on Aug. 31, I tried their online chat function to see if I could communicate with anyone. First time, I was somewhere around customer 17 waiting for a chat agent to respond. While waiting, I simply stayed busy with other work. About an hour later when I was getting close to being first in line, I discovered that I was timed out of chat and got dropped. So I tried again. Went back to being customer 14 and decided this time to periodically send the chat session a keyboard character just to keep my session from timing out again.
Finally a couple hours later, I actually connected with a chat agent. (Yes, a couple hours later.) So without exaggeration, I spent a total of 3+ hours on their chat software until I had someone interacting with me. Keep in mind, it's now been 10 days since I submitted my mattress pickup receipt. All I wanted to know is how long it typically takes to get a refund. During this chat session, I was informed it usually takes "up to 15 business days" to process. Sigh...
Ok, so I mapped out 15 business days on the calendar from my original receipt submission date of Aug. 21, including skipping weekends and Labor Day, plus one extra day just to make sure. I re-chatted that day (Sept. 15) that we were beyond the 15-day process period and I still hadn't received a refund. The first thing this chat agent (different person this time) wrote back was "Who informed you of 15 days?" Oh no... here we go. "The tickets are viewed in the order they are received by Returns, and THEN it takes up to 15 business days to process." Sigh... I asked, "So another week? A month? Any idea at all?" Response, "I don't want to give you inaccurate information... They will contact you with the time to expect it and the amount." Sigh...
I finally received the refund notification on Sept. 24, five weeks after I had sent support a copy of the mattress pickup receipt on Aug. 21. So my conclusion about the return process is this:
1. Despite what the GhostBed website says, if you buy one of their mattresses and opt to return it sometime after 30 and before 101 days, you will get stuck locating a charitable organization to haul it away.
2. If free pillows come with the mattress, you will get stuck paying for and coordinating the return of the pillows separately from the mattress.
3. It is likely to take an enormously long period of time to finally secure your refund. That alone tells me one of four things:
a. GhostBed returns & support are severely understaffed, OR
b. GhostBed returns & support processes are severely inefficient, OR
c. GhostBed has many, MANY more mattress returns than they let on, OR
d. GhostBed is in financial trouble and hangs onto your refund as long as possible before finally letting it go.
There may be other possibilities, but I can't think of them. In sum (as noted in an earlier review), I did like the mattress itself, even though it didn't resolve my back problem. However, if you buy one and decide to return it, just be aware of the amount of work, expense, and wait you will incur in the process. Clearly it would be an understatement to say that process was a significant disappointment to me. I gave this two stars instead of only one because at least the people I did interact with were polite and tried to help within the context of what they are permitted to do and say.

I purchased the most basic GhostBed mattress in July 2020. So this isn't their Flex, Luxe, or 3D Matrix. Just the basic. I'm giving it 5 stars because I found it to be supportive, on the more firm side (which is my preference), and - as primarily a back & stomach sleeper - pretty comfortable. Plus it has a 20-year limited warranty, which is 5-10 years longer than most of their competitors.
Also, the price was right (under $600 when I bought it), and it came with two free pillows. Despite all that, I ended up returning the mattress within their 101-day trial period because I would wake up each morning with a sore back. Though that sounds bad, I actually don't blame the mattress. I seem to have a sensitive back and was hoping a nice mattress would help. In the end it didn't, but (to me) that is not a reflection on the quality of the mattress. That's why I rate it so well and would still recommend it to those who prefer a bit more firmness in a mattress. If, however, you purchase a GhostBed mattress and aren't convinced prior to the purchase that you're going to keep it, I have very different feedback regarding that service process. So I'm making that a separate review because my star rating is different.

They purposely do not respond to email or phone calls. This way the customer can't correct an error in the order. They wait until order is delivered then they respond and states that the purchase agreement said you have to pay 15% restocking fee and you are responsible for paying for return freight as well. Don't buy from these people, they are thieves. They use sleazy tactics to take money off you. Most companies would allow their customer to correct an order before it is shipped especially if you notify them within a certain time frame. These people purposely don't answer emails and phone calls until it is too late.

We ordered our king size GhostBed just over a year ago. This order was placed on a Saturday night, by late Saturday night/middle of the night/ in the very wee hours of Sunday morning, we asked to have our full king order to be our to be changed to the the ** twin mattresses for our king bases (literally within hours of the order, no chance in that time it was shipping, in the middle of the night just hours later). We were told we could only do so by paying a restocking fee to change our order, ok whatever. The two twin XL bases for our king bed were delivered about a week later, but no mattress. We waited approximately 2 months for our mattress, no mattress. Calls and emails only told us it was not yet manufactured or ready to ship. This was not relayed to us in any way at the time of order.
During the time of order, my husband who works out of town for very extended periods of time, was home so we could have gotten it installed. With the very extended amount of wait time, by the time it finally arrived, he was back out of town for work and I could not get in moved and installed by myself. Calls to the company resulted in promises of free sheets and pillows to make up for their issue, neither ever showed up!
Now that we finally have had it installed months later, I can say we both are very unhappy with it and cannot sleep comfortably in it. Even after giving plenty of time to acclimate it. I now totally sleep on the couch and he has trouble sleeping and wakes up with extreme back pain. While we love the adjustable base, the mattress is not at all impressive. We would appreciate at the very least, our promised items for our inconvenience. I am going to reach out again to see it we can try a different style of GB mattress. I have found this to be an expensive disappointment ???? In addition the “massage” (very light vibration feature is extremely disappointing). Ghost Bed, would you like to make this right? I don’t know why we did not receive our items which were were promised, our sheets and pillows at the very least? We wanted really LOVE this bed and gave it our best shot, but sadly it gets no better with time. GhostBed, would you now like to make this expensive transaction right?

So my husband I did a lot of research on box bed and decided on Ghostbed. We thought why not, if we don’t like it we have 101 days to send back. Well we got it and was awful. Felt like we were sleeping on the floor, it was so hard. We tried to give it two weeks but just couldn’t do it anymore but they make you wait over 30 days to return and try to entice you to try it longer by saying they’ll give you a “free” mattress topper and sheets BUT if you still don’t like the bed you have to pay and keep the topper, can’t be sent back. We said no and went through with the return process.
Where it feels like a scam is when originally purchasing the bed they throw in two “free” pillows and again if you don’t keep the bed they either charge you for the pillows or make YOU pay to send them back. I think it's shady when I didn’t ask or want the pillows but I have to pay to ship them back and we only found this out when we said we want to return the bed. You can only find where it states this towards the bottom of their terms and conditions page. OH and keep in mind they own the Nature's Sleep brand so expect the same experience. You’re better off going to a mattress store and trying out a bed you like and buying there bc most have the 100 night trial as well.

Ghostbed refund process is a nightmare. The bed was extremely hot trappings body heat waking me up every night. I called to return their toastbed. Because of Covid 19 the mattress sat in my room against a wall for 4 months before they would send someone to pick it up. Finally when the truck came, The driver gave me a receipt that said Nectar. I told him it was a ghostbed mattress he said it is the same company?? Two weeks went by, no word on my return. I called several time without being able to talk with anyone. I left messages And sent emails. No response. They suck at customer service.
This is the message they sent me. "However, upon reviewing the donation receipt from our partner Sharetown, they noted on the receipt that they picked up a Twin Nectar mattress and not a Twin GhostBed." This is done to be sure the GhostBed is donated and not another mattress therefore, I cannot accept your donation receipt with another mattress name for the donation. This is total **!

This mattress seems to be very comfortable and it seems to be adjustable to my body. They must improve the size of the mattress and include all sizes possible because I have a wide family that use different sizes. But I like the comfort, all the positions in bed and seems simple but I think I would sleep tight.

This mattress had the best reviews out of all of the other mattresses that I was looking up and this mattress had a lot of YouTube video reviews and I trust those more than written reviews. The shipping was very affordable and fast. The mailman even helped bring the mattress inside. I also like how durable it is and it seems to be very stain resistant. But I wish the price was a little bit lower and affordable.

Ghostbed was on sale at a very good price and I've heard good reviews on this mattress. I love my new mattress. I enjoy sleeping on it each and every night. I mainly love the gel memory foam that is in the mattress that has more of a cooling effect. I'm so happy that I've made this choice and I told many people that I know about the comfort I get. I would highly recommend it to everyone I know and to anyone that has an affected night's rest because nothing worse than waking up every couple hours. If I had to choose another mattress I would definitely choose another one of these.
