This mattress yes for the money doesn't look that great but it is great. I come from back issues and really have appreciated how well rounded it is, I got it when I was pregnant so I was hoping it would be good afterwards and it was! It deserves 5 stars as a review. Unfortunately ours came collapsed on the bottom since that was not supposed to happen. I returned it which was super easy. Also the 120 day trial realy helps and just repurchase the same mattress again!

We purchased and have slept on the Birch Natural mattress in queen size for 8 months or so and find it very comfortable. I would say that the med/firm designation is right on. We lean toward firm so find it "just right". The quality and feel seem top-notch. While we did hesitate for a bit before ordering our first one because of price (we just ordered a full size Natural mattress for our guest room), we are glad we did and are happy to have a mattress with natural latex, cotton, and wool. This is worth it to us!

Overall, this is the best mattress I’ve ever had, but I’m missing just a bit of firmness. I like firmer mattresses. I feel like your firmness rating is slightly exaggerated or I really need to go for something heavier-duty. I’d love to have the exact same mattress just firmer, though I wouldn't say this one is bad or doesn't work for me. It's ideal in every way, and the firmness is sitting at an 8/10.

I knew I wanted an organic mattress (I eat organic foods so why not sleep organic, too?!) so I only looked at brands that were certified organic. When the Birch mattress arrived, I'd planned to "air it out" for a few days, but there was no need. It didn't give off any noxious fumes at all. That – plus the fact that after sleeping on the mattress for a week, I awoke every morning without any hip or shoulder pain – made me thrilled I'd decided on a Birch Natural mattress.

My husband and I have all the non-toxic bedding, but all of it would be for nothing if our mattress was full of hazardous chemicals. We decided we wanted natural, and organic materials - this was our priority. Birch was known for it's temperature regulation, so we ordered! It came fast, was easy to unbox and pop right on our bed frame. We have loved using it so far, and it is great to know that we are sleeping healthier at night.

I’m a repeat customer with Birch. All our children are on the twin mattress and I would love one day to upgrade my own mattress to one of theirs. I appreciate the clean ingredients they’re made with. So far the mattress, pillow, and mattress protector we've purchased in the past have all held up really well.

The website was very easy to navigate. I appreciate how much detail they put into telling you what is in each mattress and how that benefits you as a consumer. I like how it is easy to compare different models and everything. It's all great. I am very excited to sleep.

I really appreciate Birch's commitment to healthy & comfortable mattresses. I bought two twin mattresses for my kids and feel so much at ease knowing they are sleeping on nontoxic materials for nearly 50% of their day!

I really like the natural organic material, the firmness is perfect and that's very well made

This is a a solid organic mattress option. A bit pricey, but that is par for the course when you're looking for quality organic materials. Customer service has been good, the mattress came as expected. The mattress itself was firmer than expected and I looked into returning it for that reason, but Birch offered a free plush topper to address that complaint.

Excellent mattress. I was suffering from back pain before I got the mattress and even had medical care. I had no idea it was the mattress. The mattress solved the problem immediately. Excellent delivery; easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

I love the natural materials, but I think the bed is too soft. I also have a small divot forming where I sleep, but overall I appreciate I’m sleeping on a safe bed.

This isn't my first review because I own 3 Birch mattresses. 1 king luxe and 2 twins for my babies. I have more kids growing out of their cribs so I will be buying more! I love love my mattress and I recommend it all the time.

I wasn't expecting it to be unusually cool given I didn't buy the cooling pad, but it's been a pleasant surprise during the heatwave. I might consider getting a wool topper or something to keep warm next winter. It's a little softer than I was expecting and overall pretty good support.

Can't say enough positive things about my Birch mattress and pillows. The comfort has transformed my sleep: firm, cooling, strong edge, an all-around great mattress. Great price for such a high-quality product with an amazing warranty. Fast delivery and easy installation meant a good night's sleep promptly. Will definitely be using Birch mattresses exclusively from now on.

The mattress itself is mostly as expected. No funky smells makes it seem like the materials are indeed better for you. But for some reason, the sizing is off. Our King size mattress is way shorter than our bed frame, like by about six inches. We even got a Birch bed frame, thinking it might fit better, but it sticks out past the mattress significantly and my husband keeps running into the end that sticks out past the mattress so that's not great. I do like the firmness of the mattress and it seems helpful for my back pain. It just needs quality control for the sizing. Delivery also took a very long time.

I have been very please with my Birch mattress purchase. Happy knowing that the materials fit with my health journey without sacrificing comfort. Mattress was reasonably priced.

I've been sleeping in the Birch mattress Lux for about a year now and it's been great!

I had a positive experience with Birch overall. The mattress is well made and uses high-quality natural materials, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive and even offered a complimentary topper to help. Unfortunately, the mattress wasn't the right fit for my sleep preferences. It felt bouncier than I expected, and I was looking for a firmer, more supportive feel. I would still recommend the product.

Beautifully designed kids mattress, with two sides so it can grow with your child. The edge support is impressive, it doesn’t sag when an adult sits at the edge (which also means it’s less likely to sag and flop your kid on the floor!). I love that it’s breathable and organic, no smells, soft and comfortable. We have been very happy with it.

I think overall this mattress slightly beat the comfort of the mattress it replaced. For that reason I don’t notice a huge difference in quality of sleep, though this mattress is comfortable and probably ideal for someone who prefers a firm mattress. I may purchase a topper to see if that changes things but I am also considering upgrading to a queen. Thanks Birch!

I appreciate natural organic fabrication of Birch mattresses and that each mattress is made to order. Would like a slightly firmer feel for the essential mattress.

If you want an organic, comfortable sleeping solution, I would recommend the Birch Natural Mattress and the topper. I feel confident knowing all materials are natural as that is important to me.

Very comfortable mattress and easy mail delivery. Just note that Helix and Birch are different mattresses under the same brand. We accidentally purchased the kids Helix versus the kids birch mattresses. Overall excellent company to work with, great customer service.

The mattress has great natural materials. There was no off-putting smell from the mattress when it got here. I will note that it is quite heavy, which made it difficult, managing the opening and positioning of the mattress. The mattress is great though.

It's just an ok mattress that's quite overpriced. My low back, hips and shoulders still hurt... Oh well.

Nontoxic mattress. Great for kids - I love the materials and the dual sided firmness option for as kids grow older.

I absolutely love my Birch elite mattress! Amazing edge support and it supports my hips and spine.

Birch makes a comfortable mattress made with better materials. Our hope is that we would have a safer mattress without giving up the support and quality of our existing mattress. We have found that Birch does a pretty good job at providing both the peace of mind of materials and a pretty good mattress.
