Back Science has been the most comfortable and best mattress that I’ve ever purchased. I got the Series 2 which is their firmer mattress. They have Series 1, 2, and 3. The Series 3 is more like a pillow top plush mattress.

I’ve had severe back pain, and I was doing some research. I got on a mattress website and somebody made a remark about how good Back Science mattress was. They couldn’t afford to purchase one because they’re relatively expensive.

I’ve tried four different mattresses within the past 10 years. I looked into it and I figured one more try is not gonna hurt me. So, I went ahead and decided to make a purchase.

I actually shuffled three beds from a company called WinkBed, and they have one that’s specifically for back pain. It’s a hybrid latex mattress, and that was the last one I was sleeping on. It got to the point where I would get out of bed in the morning and couldn’t walk.

It was so bad that I was actually hunched over. I had to stretch out my body before I could even walk across the bedroom floor. That’s how bad it was. My lower back pain was so severe, I couldn’t walk across the room. It was absolutely horrendous.

I’m physically fit, exercise five days a week, 5’9” and 160 pounds. So, I’m not some obese slob who is out of shape. Yet, when I lay there in a nonconforming mattress for eight hours, my body just ends up all sore and I couldn’t move.

The Back Science mattress has completely changed that. I don’t wake up in pain anymore. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s an unbelievable difference.

It’s difficult to describe the initial give that the mattress has when I first lay on it. It doesn’t conform to my body like a memory foam mattress does. It supports it. Also, the mattress doesn’t sleep hot. That’s another thing. It’s very cool.

My last mattress was latex and it isn’t supposed to sleep hot either but it did. Memory foam is absolutely horrendous. It feels like you’re sleeping in an oven.

I’ve had the Back Science mattress for three months now and it still feels like the first day I got it. Normally, you see a slight body impression. If you go to sleep in a different spot, it feels a little firmer than where you normally would sleep. Not in this bed.

I usually lay in the same spot every night, and if I move over six inches, the bed feels absolutely the same. If you move over a foot, it feels exactly the same. The Back Science mattress has better quality.

However, their representatives are less than efficient at figuring out where your mattress is in the production schedule and when it will be delivered. They’re not very good on their delivery times. It took six weeks to get this mattress, and it should have been three. When I would send an email asking where it was, their response was less than forthcoming.

I don’t think they really knew where the mattress was in their delivery queue. What’s really ridiculous was I got an email from them approximately two weeks after I received the mattress stating that the mattress is scheduled to be delivered this week. They didn’t even know that it has been delivered to me. That made the purchase experience less than stellar.

The product is good, but the customer support is poor. As a matter of fact, one individual was very friendly with me in his initial email response, but then turned rude and sarcastic the next time. It’s just ridiculous.

You’re being sarcastic with a customer that’s spending $3,000 on a mattress. That’s uncalled for. In all fairness, I did purchase two pillows and a mattress topper to go with it. Well, the actual price of the mattress was probably $2,700, which is still a stretch.

However, when I take into account the $2,700 I spent on the mattress, and I’m comfortable, can sleep good, and don’t wake up in pain, the $2,700 is worth it. Even though it sounds like a lot of money, it’s something you should have for 10, 15, 20 years before you have to replace it.

If you amortize the cost over 10 years, it’s 270 bucks a year. It all depends on how you look at it. If you ever have to replace a mattress, I would suggest you look into Back Science. It’s money well-spent. You’d be very, very happy with it.

I used to sleep on a Comfort mattress, and I used to be a stomach sleeper. Then, since sleeping on my stomach would not make my spine in perfect alignment, I became a side sleeper. But when I let air out to get my shoulder soft, it started sagging in the middle, so I went to an AirPedic mattress which had three zones, three support bladders. That was fine and it kept my hips up from sagging. But then it got uncomfortable and the air pressure always seemed to fluctuate with temperature. And it was just getting to be a pain. So I went on this quest to find a mattress, and I tried all kinds of mattresses, but none of them really worked my back. It's tight and not loosened up right, and it's always hurting in the morning. I'd given up and I was adjusting my air mattress every night so that it wouldn't make my back sore from too much or not enough pressure to keep the middle section, or it would have too much air and it would hurt my hips and shoulders.

Then I saw the internet ad for the Back Science Sleep System and it said it alleviated back pain. So, I decided to give it a try. I ordered the mattress, and they use inner springs instead of air pressure. When it first came, the top layer of foam was too soft and started hurting my back, so I called the company here and I found out that Rick, the chiropractor that started Back Science, was the same guy that started the AirPedic, the air mattress that I used before. I talked to him and at first, I was dead set on sending the Back Science mattress back and sticking with my air mattress. But he said we just had to fool around and find the right combination of foams. And wouldn't it be nice to find that and not have to adjust the air pressure?

So he sent some more foams out, I put them on the mattress, then I zipped the top up and adjusted them to fit my body. He worked with me until I got the mattress set right. So the Back Science is not like the major mattress places where I got stuck with their mattress and I couldn't adjust the foam because it doesn't have a zipper. Now, the Back Science is not hurting my back anymore. So, I can't say enough about them. At least they work with you to get the mattress livable for you. That alone is priceless. So far, the Back Science mattress makes it easier to sleep, and I don't have to adjust the air pressure every night. The foam of my air mattress was getting kind of old, so although my back wasn't sore, I was getting aches and pains in my hips and shoulders from sleeping on a too-hard mattress. But the Back Science is not like that. I would tell my friends about my experience with Back Science. "

I went into the Back Science store looking for an adjustable bed. The staff was professional, took the time to explain the differences among all beds, and never pressured me. They seemed happy answering my questions, and made sure that I had a good experience with them.

They had other brands of elevated beds, but they recommended the one that they made in-house by the store owner, who is also a chiropractor. I tried it in the store and thought it was very comfortable. I liked the adjustable base features, the remote, and the versatility within the mattress where it can be unzipped and a foam can be added or taken out.

I bought the bed and the mattress. It’s the most expensive bed I’ve purchased, but I believe it’s a good value. I was able to use part of my HSA funds due to my medical condition. There was also a sale, and I felt I got a really good price. They said that they can actually come to my house and adjust the mattress if it feels too hard or too soft after two weeks. During delivery, they opened it and adjusted the material inside, so I was able to see the stuffing. The product came with a 365-day trial and a 30-year warranty. Their warranty covers sagging at three-quarters of an inch, compared to other brands that require an inch and a half.

So far, my experience has been great. This bed got me back into a regular bed. It’s not gonna solve my sleep apnea, but it has made sleeping much more comfortable, because of the zero-G elevation setting on the bed during sleep. I’ve had it for about two months and love it. I haven’t needed any adjustments, but I like knowing that option is available. I would recommend it to others.

I needed a new mattress because I got rid of the old memory foam mattress I had, which was bought back in 2012 at Costco. And it was because it had gotten into where you drop into a hole from the repetitive sleeping on it for however many years I kept it.

But I got pissed off looking online for mattresses because I found lots of glowing reviews, and then I found out they were all crap. So, I went to a local mattress store in Agoura Hills, California, which is where this particular outlet is. I just told them that I’ve got X amount of money, and I want the best mattress I can get for it. The representative didn’t point me to the most expensive one, but she pointed me to Back Science Series 3. And the sales team at the location was not pushy. They answered my questions. They were good people.

And what I got is a great mattress. With it, I definitely had a much better night’s sleep. I’m able to sleep on my side comfortably. I trained in jiu-jitsu, and jiu-jitsu people get their bodies wrecked. My shoulders are trashed. But now, I can sleep comfortably on my shoulders, where I couldn’t with the memory foam.

We walked into the Back Science Sleep Systems store to just check out some different mattresses, because our old mattress was pretty beat. The lady at the store asked us what our goals were, and introduced us to the Back Science mattress. She said that this is perfect for someone suffering from different kinds of back pain, and if the existing mattress hurts.

We had also tried a Purple mattress at a different store, and we liked it. But we have also read that their service life tended to be shorter than other brands and that they were probably the most expensive on the range. We also tried several mattresses, and the Back Science mattress turned out to be the one that felt the best. We were happy with it. It is a million times better than the mattress that we had prior. We're still getting used to it, but we're enjoying it so far. I've been waking up with less neck pain. My wife, who has chronic pain from several major back surgeries, likes it. She's definitely happy with the bed at this point.

Mattresses are expensive these days. But what we paid for the Back Science mattress was certainly less than what we would have paid for the Purple mattress. We're happy with this purchase, and we're waiting to get the adjustable frame, too, that we ordered.

I have persistent hip and back pain but it's been treated with physical therapy. I was just looking for a better seating option. I did some research online and came across Back Science. But I’m not a big fan of it. It has not been very helpful for me. I use it a fifth of the time and switch between other chairs. So, I like parts of it, but some of it doesn’t work for me at all.

My wife has been having an awful lot of back problems and I was on the internet and YouTube looking up different items, and Back Science happened to catch my attention. It sounded like a good product. My wife can’t believe a mattress is gonna make that much difference, but it did. She likes it. The old mattress that she had before was worn out and her back couldn't be bothered at all anymore. People who have back issues need to give Back Science some consideration. They have been very professional.

I was looking for a mattress and heard about Back Science. My wife has lower back pain and so far, the experience has been good. The mattress was not adequate to begin with, but they were able to work with my wife to change things out to make it right. So, I was very pleased with that. We now have an acceptable bed, which deserves the highest rating. Dealing directly with the owner was very reassuring and it worked out very well.

Customer service was nice, which is the kind of way you want to run a business. The product was delivered when they said it would be. It’s been a positive experience all the way around.
