I am keeping it very real here. After reading so many negative reviews about ASF, I changed my mind about my purchases. Next day I called customer svc & spoke w/ assistant manager ** (he said he was assist manager) to cancel my delivery bec of the reviews I read. He seemed upset with me, started over talking me and my radar really went up, bec 99% of the negative reviews were complaints about customer svc also. Customer svc should ALWAYS be pleasant with their customers! Put your feet into their shoes at that moment, right? I did tell ** "read the reviews for yourself, I have a knot in my stomach about the furniture." ** said my cards will be refunded 3-5 days.

Then, I made a 2nd call to customer svc and asked ** to email me my cancellation receipt bec I had not moved to Ormond Beach yet, but my purchase was made in the Ormond Beach, Fl store while I was there. Well, this time he spoke very pleasant, had a calmer demeanor and understood why I decided to cancel. Don't know if he read the reviews though. Today is the 3rd day since I cancelled and yes my cards were refunded. Also, I have to say the sales associate ** who worked w/ me at the store, was a very, very kind sales associate and very easy to work with. I wish I could have given ** my business. Sorry **. However, I am satisfied MAINLY, MAINLY **, because YOU, the assistant manager, the 2nd time I called spoke to me the way customer svc should speak to their customers. It should not have taken a 2nd call to get good customer svc though.

I got leather recliner sofa bed and sofa. Before the 1st year is done I had a lot of problems with bent recliner, tears, lose parts, really low quality. I contact them, they said they can just fix recliners and I can't change it. So the moment you got your thing, even if you are not satisfied, go to hell. I don't recommend anyone to buy anything from American signature.

I bought an American Signature sectional in September of 2013. I wanted something that I could frequently lounge on. In the space of six months, the sectional had a very uncomfortable feel from sagging and I dislike sitting and lounging on it. I considered having it re-stuffed, but the couches are made of foam. Now, every month, I have to re-arrange the seat insets just to be able to sit for a few hours.

My wife and I bought a sofa and two stools from AF. The sales went fine and the showroom was fine. However, one of the stools arrived damaged. Couldn't it have been checked before they delivered it? I actually had to go outside and run to catch the delivery guys before they took off. Did manage to get a replacement stool, but the delivery people showed up an hour early and got me out of bed to make the delivery! My takeaway from this experience is that AF is a big hassle. Will not shop with them again.

I had shopped around quite a bit before making a final decision on the Soho II Sectional. Though another competitor offered a similar couch for a comparable price, I chose American Signature because I simply liked their store and the sectional went on sale a mere two days after looking at it. I chose to order it online as the store I had visited to see the sectional was about 10 miles from my house. When I picked it up, the guy who loaded it for me ripped me off by pushing the cleaner on me stating that it was a $170 deal for $20. He failed to state that the warranty was $170 and unless you have a receipt of purchase, there is not warranty just the cleaner. That should have been my first clue.

I get the sectional home and unwrapped and notice there is a small hole in the front of the one piece and a deep scratch in the other piece. And let me say that I worked for a furniture retail store for over a year including the stock room, so I know how to unwrap furniture. The damage was most certainly not caused by me. When I spoke to the local store in Altamonte Springs, Florida, the girl told me my only option was to return the sectional - at my expense, since I had to rent a truck to pick it up. She said nothing else could be done and it "says so on the back of the receipt". Well, I ordered online so I don't have the back of a receipt. I then called the main number for American Signature and was told the same thing and that nothing else could be done.

I cannot believe this company has such poor customer service. The sectional is great except for the damage. It is American Signature who should be ashamed of themselves for such a poor policy in customers having to incur more expense due to their error in wrapping product. A simple discount would have even been acceptable. I will never shop there again which is sad because the quality of furniture is really good for the price.

Since the first time we walked in there, no one greeted us, finally my wife complain to a manager and a nice salesman, he assured us that he was going to take care of us. We came back the next day and he sure did. When my furniture was delivered a few days after, the delivery guys rushed everything and damaged our stairs and walls. Some of the furniture were damaged due to this negligence. I filed a service the same day about the furniture.

When I called the store customer service a manager by the name of **, very unprofessional, hung up the phone to me because she didn't have any manners to deal with customers. I went to the store to speak with the GM, I asked him to cancel my entire order because my wife and I have two credit account. Mine has the highest balance, the GM saw my wife's account first and since it had a low balance he proceeded to cancel our order. Once he saw my balance immediately he started to offer me stuff to keep my business.

I find this very unprofessional and convenience to him as he didn't even empathize with me about the abuse that someone from his staff hung up the phone on me. A few days later when I returned a few items back due to being damaged, the second delivery guys noticed how bad my stairs and walls were damaged advised me to file a claim to get those damages repair by ASF. When the adjuster call me from travels insurance he denied my claim because the store stated that nothing has happened to my house. The second delivery guys took photos about my damages. It is very sad that companies like this do not know how to take care of people.

We bought a sofa set, white bonded leather, from American Signature in Daytona Beach about a year and 1/2 ago and there are many places where the fabric is splitting, tearing, deteriorating, etc. Prior to moving the Florida we had a regular leather set that we bought at Haynes in Virginia. It's more than 25 years old and has never had these kinds of issues. This bonded leather stuff looks to be a defective product.

I'm discouraged to hear comments about the extended warranty not covering this kind of stuff. We are going to give it a shot. I'll report the results on this forum. If the extended warranty thing doesn't pan out I might consider contacting the consumer protection division of Florida, under the attorney general's office. If I do so I will let people know that as well and would encourage others to do the same.

The chase were replaced and the new one sent are stabilizing the spring with cord!!!! That is incredible this improvisation. The worst is that the store manager allegate that it was manufactured in that way. I purchased a sofa and loveseat about a year and a half ago. I purchased the extended warranty on both, as I have young kids who are rough on furniture. I noticed a flaw starting in the back of the loveseat and a problem with the sofa a couple of months ago. The loveseat actually ripped last week, opening a hole in the fabric. I called customer service - the number on the receipt, to arrange for a repair.

That number was incorrect and I was required to call another number. I was on hold there for about 10 minutes, then given the option to receive a call back later, which I did. I received a call back around 20 minutes later only to be told that the damage was not covered under my warranty, because I failed to report it when I first noticed the flaw. Well, when I first noticed it, there was nothing to fix. It was not until last week that I realized it was actually a hole (two in fact - one in the sofa and one in the loveseat).

Clearly, they have no intention of honoring their warranty. I spoke with a supervisor who also told me I was out of luck. I realize this was not an expensive product - that's why I purchased the warranty - but I didn't expect the company to try to weasel itself out of what's probably a $50 repair. This service is horrible. I will not purchase from them again - if you want a product that will last a year and a half, go ahead and buy from them. After that, you are on your own.

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THIS PLACE!!!! American Signature Furniture is horrible. They sold me a sectional couch which I was told was leather. I also purchased the 7 year extended protection warranty. The sofa has 4 recliners built in. 2 years later and the couch is falling apart. 3 of the 4 recliners do not work. They say that isn't covered under the warranty. Staples that hold this piece of junk together are falling out, also not covered. The non-leather is falling apart, not covered. The padding in the seats is flat and you can feel the bars and frame, very uncomfortable, also not covered.

When called about this they turn you over to a warranty company they are also no help. When I called American Signature back to talk to a manager he couldn't be reached. When he finally called me back, after a song and dance about how I should have lied to the warranty company, he told me that American Signature Furniture would do NOTHING to make this right. We bought a Newport beige sectional couch 11/25/13 from ASF and about 1 month later, the main support beam broke while I was sitting on it. I weigh about 165 pounds and I was just sitting on it. They did fix it, no questions asked, but they had my couch for over a week. After I got it back, it was not long before I became more dissatisfied with it. The pillows that came with it were uncomfortable feather pillows that constantly stabbed you with feathers, they also had a foul odor. I tossed the pillows at about month 4. By month 6, all the cushions were sagging and lumpy looking. No amount of fluffing will bring them back.

Now at 1.5 years later, the couch looks terrible. The cushions are pancaked and don't even look like they fit the couch. Last month the "repaired" support beam broke again, this time while my husband and I were sitting on it. It's so saggy that I am embarrassed to have company. We are buying a house this year and this couch will not be coming with us. It's not even suitable for Craigslist. I will never buy from ASF again.

I purchased a recliner about a little over a year ago and the spring mechanism broke and it is sagging badly. I looked at the construction underneath and it is fiberboard with some plywood and staples. It looks like they are meant to last a bit over the warranty period and then fail. I had thought that American Signature was a better choice than Ashley's. After some research, I see that American Signature is owned by 'Value City'. We got into the store they told us that it would be 2 weeks before they deliver 3 rooms of furniture. When the delivery finally came they delivered our box springs but no mattress! When we called they said it would be here the next week. Meanwhile the kitchenette chairs that were delivered had nails or screws sticking up through the four sides of the chair, when you sat down you would get stuck in the butt and I called them the next day and told them about the problem, they told me that they would have somebody out in 2 or 3 days to fix the chairs. Nobody came out in 2 or 3 days. I called again because my daughter has gotten stuck in a knee poked by one of the screws/nails. They told me somebody will be out on Thursday when I called on Tuesday. They did not come back to deliver the new chairs until Saturday almost a full week later. Then they said the delivery would be between 2-3 but they came at 6 and we missed a full day with our children waiting on incomplete furniture.

And to top things off they called us back and told us the mattress won't be delivered until October 16 and the box spring is so cheap my 5 yr old stepped on it and fell through!!! I tried to call the Corporate office and I keep getting hung up on when the automated system transfers me. Oh and we're still waiting on two stools.

I recently had an experience with American Signature that makes me look at them as scam artists. I recently moved into a new home and was in the market to purchase a new bed. My move-in date was quickly approaching so I wanted to secure delivery of a bed in a timely manner. I entered the location in Duluth, Georgia and realized they had a beautiful bed on sale. I was told by the sales woman that if I put a small amount down then this would solidify my purchase. I put money down and she wrote up the order. Cut to the delivery of the bed and it's the wrong bed.

I took pictures of the bed delivered, called the store then drove to the location. I was told that the bed delivered is the bed that was written on the sales slip. That made me furious because there is no way I would have thought to make sure I got the name of the bed because the employee may make a mistake. I spoke to the manager of the store and he told me that they have the bed but were no longer offering that deal. I was told I could pay the extra amount for the entire set but that's the only way to receive the bed. I called the corporate office and they gave the same reply. I was offered my money back instead of them simply doing the right thing and having the bed I paid for delivered to me.

To add insult to injury, the wrong bed was delivered with a cleaning solution that I would need for the correct bed. This leads me to believe that the correct order was known but not honored. It's amazing that American Signature would prefer to lose a profit and customer rather than biting the bullet and giving me the bed I wanted. I was also told I would receive my refund as soon as the bed was picked up but there's no refund in my account yet. American Signature has really disappointed.

About a month ago, I called American Signature because the recliner leather started to shed all over the floor. They gave me the number of the company that had the warranty. I informed the company about the shedding. The representative informed me the recliner was made of bonded leather, which I never heard of, was not covered under the warranty. I spent $109 for the warranty. When I was in the store, the sales agent never mention bonded leather. I was excited about the recliner - it was a massager too. I need help. Who can I contact? Husband and I moved to Florida and went to the Port Charlotte store (which is now closed) to get some furniture. First couch we got that we thought would work was actually ungodly uncomfortable when sitting on it for more than the initial bum test at the store... Called up the store to see about sending it back as it had only been a day or two. (Oh and their idea of "in stock" is in their warehouse in Georgia... So, in stock and it still takes a few days to get to you. To me, in stock means we have it right here.) Anyways, they weren't super thrilled to have to swap it out and it was going to take a few days to have the new couch and ottoman delivered. Frustrating but at least it was getting taken care of.

We ended up getting a cream white microfiber type couch that is of the overstuffed feel, which I love. Day the couch is going to be delivered (which they never ask what works on your end, they just tell you when it will be there) they did not have our ottoman. They said, "It didn't make it on to the truck." What?! So they just left without everything they were supposed to have. It wasn't an oversight; they seriously just left without it, knowing that it was supposed to be on the truck. So we had to wait another week for our ottoman.

After about 10 months with the couch, it is becoming less and less comfortable, the arm creaks when you rest your elbow on it. Not to mention the lovely color it's turning which yes, I get that it's a white couch but we paid an extra $80 for fabric protection so that if anything were to get on it, we could simply 'wipe it off' and it would maintain its color. Also, the back cushions are the wrong ones!!! It's a 3-seater couch and we have two center back cushions and one end... You know, so it fits around the arm of the sofa. The seats are breaking down and doing that irritating sink in thing when you sit down. It's uncomfortable and poor quality. I would NEVER recommend this store. Save your money and go to American Warehouse or Ashley. Way better quality and not such shady business practices.

They would go over to other people of ethnic group and ask them if they needed help even though I came in the store before others.. The sales people are clearly demonstrating prejudice against a certain ethnic group. I just stood there and watched the sales people run to the other ethnic groups and clearly bypassed me. What a pity that in this day and time there are clearly still people still treating a certain ethnic group like this. My girlfriend went in there and she noticed the same pattern because the same thing happened to her and I wasn't with her. When are the sales people going to learn that people should not be treated like that. I will never buy anything from this store and whoever the owner is need to get a handle on this prejudice going on in their store.

My husband and I had moved into our new house in June of 2011 and all we had to sit on in our living room was a love seat from IKEA (up till then that was all we could afford). So, that July we decided to go shopping for a sectional for our living room with my husband's bonus from work. We went to multiple furniture stores browsing around for what we liked and the best deal. We decided on a brown, bonded leather sectional from American Signature in Pinellas Park. We paid a total of $856.00 for it because we didn't get the ottoman. We were happy with it, recommended the company to friends and told them we had good service. This was all before about January 2012.

The stitching began coming up on one of the seat cushions on the couch then the bonded leather began to crack and peel. Where it was cracked and peeling was a back cushion; it wasn't even right where you sit! Now, the furniture is cracked and peeling everywhere and we have no warranty or means to repair or replace it. The bonded leather was supposed to be "more resilient than actual leather" said the salesman. I'd hate to see what would have happened with the genuine leather if that's the case. NEVER BUYING FROM THERE AGAIN!!!

Bought a kitchen set about a year ago and within 6 weeks the varnish on the table started coming off. Then I hung my coat on the back of one of the chairs and the chair broke! We have a lifetime warranty so I thought it would be replaced. We called and someone came out on 1/20/14 and looked at things, took pictures and said they would get back to us. My husband finally called 2 weeks later to find out what was going on. Basically, they said the varnish coming off is called "normal wear and tear." I kept 4 placemats on the table and a small centerpiece.

I always used good furniture polish and now I am told it is normal wear and tear. They said will "let us know" about the chair. The wood is so broken on this chair that it splintered and has sharps edges as well as metal type prongs sticking straight up. They said they will probably end up repairing it instead of replacing it. I have to keep a small towel over the back of the chair so no one gets scratched. We never heard back from the store, so we called and were told someone would call us back. We waited.

My husband called on 3/20/14 (exactly 3 months after this started) and spoke to a woman. She said that in the notes someone was supposed to call us and ask us if we wanted to bring the chair to the store to be repaired. Then my husband stated no one ever called us and this was the first time we were hearing about this. She stated she thought it was "weird" that they wanted us to bring the chair into the store because they usually do all the repairs in the home. Then she told us we only had a 1 year warranty on the furniture and my husband told her we have a lifetime warranty.

I do have the papers showing we have a lifetime warranty on the set. She corrected herself and said the set we have has a 3 year extended warranty on it and did not say anything about the table top being refinished. When my husband asked about the tabletop she said we should have called about that sooner and they weren't going to do anything about it. She said she would make notes and someone would call us tomorrow (3/21/14). As of today (4/8/14), we have not heard from anyone.

All we want is our set replaced. The table AND the chairs. I noticed a few days ago when dusting that ALL the chairs are coming loose and when you sit on them they sway slightly. Even my 8 year old gets worried when he sits in one. I am afraid one is going to just going to collapse and splinter like the one that is already broken and someone will get hurt. This set was not put together well and is of very, very poor quality. The actual broken chair is now in the basement because it was embarrassing to have people see it and constantly have to explain this situation.

We are now eating in our living room using TV trays and NOT using the table at all. No one will "TAKE" the table, and I think we will just end up trashing it because it is obvious it will never be repaired. This was my first and LAST purchase from American Signature Furniture. Worst furniture EVER! Worst customer service, no one cares and it is obvious they will not honor our lifetime warranty. It seems once that money is in their pocket. Why bother with a lifetime warranty when it means nothing! Stay away... far, far away!!! Rude and deceitful!

DON'T SHOP THERE, you will regret it! To be fair, someone did contact me after I posted on Yelp and apologizing and said they would contact the store and send me a gift card. I got the gift card... it was $50 for American Signature Furniture. Unbelievable. I send it back, along with pictures of the chair and the table top along with a letter. They received it because I sent it return receipt requested. Guess what... still no call about our broken chair. Oh, and my review on Yelp has been removed, along with 2 other poor reviews. Guess they can do what they want.

First, the quality is extremely poor, the warranty is worthless and the fabric cover warranty is a rip off. Our furniture did not last a year. Within less than six months, ASF had to replace one part of our sectional because it could not be repaired. 4 months later the spring blew in the other part of the sectional.

We were told it could not be repaired and we could come in and get a replacement sectional. Let me point out that I loved our furniture, we decorated and worked around this sectional and were very happy with it. When we got to the store, we were told that they didn't have any furniture that was equivalent to ours, and that we would have to pay the difference of what they would credit it us.

We were not prepared to put out any more money. We had already spent over $1300 11 months ago. The office woman was rude; no one cared whether or not we got what we really wanted. All they wanted was a quick sale and for us to get out of the store. The original salesperson was an absolute horror and we would not work with her as we believe she knew the original set was no good. Needless to say, we had no choice but to pay more for a sectional that is just ok. They delivered the sectional today, and there are already areas that we see that were not constructed well. I live in Atlanta, GA. I never realized that Furniture.com is simply a broker between you & another furniture company in your part of town with physical location. All they do is take the order, charge your credit card & pass that down to the local furniture company. In my case it was American Signature Furniture. American Signature is famous for selling attractive looking, extremely inferior quality furniture with no return policy. Anyways I placed my order for bedroom set with expected delivery in 2 weeks. Come close to 2 weeks I get a call from some ghetto girl telling me it is on back order for at least a month now. That is when I realized the furniture delivery is from American Signature.

Now my $1200 is stuck & I have to wait a month more. I saw bedroom furniture elsewhere but could not purchase it since my $1200 is charged on my credit card. I tried cancelling my order calling both Furniture.com & American Signature but tough luck! They refused. So, be prepared to go through this headache. The furniture is made out of corrugated card board & not wood. It is already breaking all over! Threw the entire set out & replaced it with real furniture made of wood.

Do NOT buy from this place & don't be enamored by attractive looking cheap price furniture. Test it for yourself when you go the store. Knock on the piece of furniture & you will see it is not wood. I learnt my lesson by ordering online from Furniture.com. If I had known the actual furniture would deliver from American Signature I would have visited the store first to see the quality. Also don't be fooled by the pictures on the Furniture.com website. There is a difference between what you see on website & the real furniture. In short, stay away from both Furniture.com & American Signature Furniture. Go to a real furniture store & feel the material before buying it. Do some research first. I wish I had done that first.

We purchased a "leather" sectional and coffee table set with the 7-yr. extended warranty from American Signature and after just 2 yrs. of owning it, the "leather" started peeling off. Layer by layer. When I called to file a claim, they sent people out to take pictures on 3 different occasions and then proceeded to tell me that if the leather had been ripped, they would replace it, but because it is peeling, they don't cover it. So now we are stuck with garbage furniture sitting in my living room. I am furious and have called corporate numerous times only to be fed the same bs line! What's point of having extended warranty coverage if it doesn't actually COVER ANYTHING! If anyone else has had similar issues and bought from a store in Atlanta, please contact me at **. Despite NUMEROUS negative reviews regarding the whole company (from poor quality furniture, delayed delivery issues, as well as employees on the inside talking about the "make money no matter what" culture), my wife and I STILL bought a two-piece couch from the Orlando store. The piece was exactly what we were looking for and it was a good price. No other store in the city had a piece like it.

When we first walked in the store, a salesperson, Kim, welcomed us, offered her assistance and then she left us alone. That is what we wanted. "Leave me alone and let me browse" is my policy. When we were ready to talk about other options, Kim was available and very helpful in showing us what the store had to offer.

I did my research and then hesitantly returned to the store, but I took some time with Kim to explain what I had uncovered (the bad reviews). None of the bad reviews were actually about that store in particular and Kim was understanding about my hesitation. She sincerely wanted to make this a good experience for my wife and I, so, I bought the couch. She even offered to give me her personal number if I needed to follow-up with her on anything.

Our couch was scheduled to be delivered four days later, and due to a conflict, we had to reschedule for another date. On that date, the delivery crew arrived 30 minutes ahead of the "Delivery Window" and the couch was placed in our apartment without any defects. We have had the couch for a few weeks now and we love it. We will be looking for Kim on our next visit to the store.

I am having difficulty getting the store to honor the extended warranty. My chair needs fixing but they are not responding appropriately. My father's bed is also very low quality and is bulging. This happened very soon after purchase. My recommendation is to avoid this place. They are not trying to fix my chair even after repeated attempts. They say they will but they don't even call me back. I have also visited the store in person and they say they will fix my chair but they do nothing. Do not buy the extended warranty. Better yet, don't buy from this store at all.

Well, when it comes to pricing, what's too good and quality? Definitely, this furniture store puts it to the test. I have bought several pieces of furniture, good deal and good quality, I thought. And just a little before the 30-day furniture pick-up policy, the bistro table and chairs started wobbling. This set is completely low quality, cheaply made, not any weight resistant, meaning people cannot lean too much on it. Yes, a sitting arrangement just to be displayed. It has been fixed several times, still under manufacturer's warranty, as the last technician told me that these types of sets are for senior citizens who barely move, nice comment.

But the furniture store cannot return to manufacturer, the repairs are obvious, the legs are cracked when adjusted too tightly and now the second dining set which I bought together with the bistro table and chairs, one of its chairs collapsed while my son fell backwards on the dining room table. A third piece I bought in this collection was a fire place entertainment center, looks completely deceiving. They also had to adjust the middle fire place permanently and there’s a paint chip on the furniture, which was way under the 30 days.

I have sold better furniture I owned on garage sales. I have bought expensive furniture from Rooms to Go previously, also thinking sturdy and great quality, only to be stuck paying for a low quality product. Frankly, buying furniture on credit terms or from the wrong people has not been a good experience.

Quite frankly, I paid twice than what it’s worth and relied on something that wasn't truly there.

I am simply stuck calling over and over again until furniture legs fall completely apart or pieces come flying as I meet my financial obligation, but the furniture company does not.

I purchased a sofa and chair with ottoman with an extended warranty against fabric issues of all kinds and defects. The leg and feet broke twice. They did repair and replaced the plastic feet. The fabric ripped and a new skirt was ordered. It too was ripped. The company said the sofa should be replaced. The store has nothing that goes with my chair and ottoman. The couch is no longer available. They offered me $146, but I want my entire purchase refunded because the warranty did not live up to their promises.

I spent over $2000 on a couch, and after 3 years, it is falling apart. On their website it says they have a limited lifetime warranty. I called and asked them about it. They informed me it is only on their furniture made by them. They own the company who makes my couch. They will not honor it saying it has to say American Signature Furniture, not the company they own. That does not make sense. I posted in their Facebook page my complaint and they said they would have someone call me, but I had already dealt with corporate. They then proceeded to take my complaints down and block me. What kind of service is this? They are a scam. Please help.

I purchased a 3-piece living room set in Oct 2010. I have no kids, just older adults with normal weights. Now, a little over 2 years later, the couch and the love seat have huge gaps where the leather-like material itself peeled right off like layers of an onion. The warranty was only 1 year, so the company won't do anything. Now I have to find expensive covers to hide it or throw out the entire set and buy more furniture.

Initially, I had a pleasant experience. Bob was great at helping my select pieces and did not hover or push. My pleasant experience ended as soon as I purchased my furniture. My furniture arrived and we noticed one of the shelves on the end table had a split in it. We pointed this out to the driver who told us since we had a second delivery coming, he would have them replace the table. I stopped in and spoke with the salesman Bob and confirmed with him the table would be fixed. The second part of my delivery arrived the following week. This driver informed me no one gave him another table and he can't fix it, no one gave him parts. I called the store and they are now telling me I can't return the table for a new one because it's past 7 days and I should have refused delivery. They are telling me they'll send a tech out in two weeks to fix it.

This technician is 30 minutes past my appointment time, takes 5 minutes to look at the table, confirms it's broken and says he'll put in an order to fix it. Apparently, his whole purpose was to confirm I was capable of telling my table was broken. Six weeks go by, no call about my table. The store informs me it takes 6-8 weeks for parts to come in, then they'll fix my table. Today marks two months, my third service call was 45 minutes late to my appointment window and they ordered the wrong parts! They are now sending out a fourth service call, wasting yet another one of my Saturdays, and (hopefully) fixing my end table. I hate this store, they have atrocious customer service, and I will never recommend them to anyone. They will not replace my damaged furniture; it has taken two months just to get it repaired. They sell broken furniture then refuse to replace it.

I bought a living room set from American Signature that cost close to $3000 around two years ago and the set is broken. The wood on the arm is broken and the actual sofa itself sinks so low that my guests can barely get up. I went into the store to express my concerns and see what could be done to rectify the situation and I was told by the manager that I should have purchased an extended warranty - an extended warranty on a set as expensive as that. It's poor customer service and even poorer furniture quality.

We bought the most expensive mattress in their store and were told it is the best for a great night's sleep. Our daughter's mattress was less expensive and is better than ours. After sleeping on this mattress less than two years now, it has been 'sinking' over three inches, some places 2 - 2 1/2 and my husband's back is hurting him badly. He's a normal weight man, 6'2" and this mattress is now making me uncomfortable to get a good's night rest. I feel as though I'm on a 'hill', one part of my body is sinking and the other rises up on the ever so highly sinking mattress.

They sent out a gentleman named George to take pictures of my bed and when the manager, Nick called me, he told me my mattress was 'soiled' and cannot be replaced. I invited him to come out himself that our mattress is not soiled but it has a lot of 'pilling' on it due to the friction of the mattress. Whatsoever, if this mattress is sinking, I should have another one. He said the policy states that if the mattress is soiled I get nothing. Again, there is no human soil on our mattress. They never offered me a protection cover either. I feel as though we have to suffer back problems due to them selling us a very expensive mattress and it didn't do what they promised us it will do. What can we do? I do not wish to contact an attorney at this time until I hear from you. Thank you for your help.

Never, under any circumstances, purchase the 7-year fabric protection warranty. I have filed 6 claims during the time that I have had my sofa and not one of them has been handled. Even after numerous calls and being left on hold with the most horrendous hold music, they continue to make excuses and refuse to deliver on what I paid for. Ultimately, they offered to buy my contact out when the manufacturer of my sofa no longer made the model that I have to replace one of the cushions. I was told I would have the check in 2 weeks. It has been 6 and I am unable to get any resolution from anyone and they refuse to pass me to a manager. Do not waste your time with this company. I really wish I had the time back, and the bit of my sanity I feel they have stolen in the frustration, from all of the countless calls I have had to make.

I had bought a mattress from them around 6 years ago. I have been having problems with it. When I sit down on my side, it squeaks and also a few springs pop up from under the mattress. I don't weigh that much for that to happen. I had a tech come out, and he said there had to be a 2-in dip in the mattress and also there were two stains in the mattress. He also said that it will void the warranty. He said that a manager will call me, which he never did.

I called the first time and spoke with Mike. He mentioned to me that I have a ten-year warranty. He said that they won't cover warranty, because it has a stain on it plus he said it normal wear and tear. He mentioned that I do have a fabric protection on it. I said to him that if I had someone come out to take care of the stain since I have a plan for that, would then they take care of the mattress. He pretty much said they could not do anything and they took care of their side.

I called on October 29, 2007 regarding a purchase that I made at the above store on January 15, 2006. I purchase a sectional and dining room set and with the purchase included the fabric protector service for the sectional and chairs. I was charged a total of $189.95 plus tax on my American Signature Card. On October 27, 2007 I had a certified fabric cleaner give me an estimate for a steam cleaning. I disclosed where I purchased the sofa and the fact that I had a fabric protector on. When he tested the sofa on several areas, he stated that there was in fact no fabric protector on. He was also willing to give a statement to that effect.

I called American Signature to see if they could apply the fabric protector as was purchased, and they stated I had to bring in the sofa. I told them that was unrealistic and I would like my money refunded. They agreed to refund the purchase price of the fabric protector as well as the tax but not the interest charged to my card for the product. I feel that I should not have to pay interest on a product that was never placed on my sofa.

I purchased several peices of furniture, the couch I purchased quickly began to sink in the center I called the company and they came and restuffed the couch, the couch and loveseat began to sink again and the company would do nothing because it was now over 1 year. I purchased a protection plan for the couch that I later learned only cover the fabric.

I later found a stain on the couch and followed the instructions to clean the stain, I tested the leather and everything seemed fine I cleaned the spot then later noticed that the color had been removed since that time the color is wearing off badly in the seats that are most used it is almost gone. If you wipe the couch with a plain damp rag the color come off. I was told the fabric protection does not cover color changes by the third party company Stainsafe. I tried to contact someone at this store several times and was told someone would return my call, I never received a call back, when I reported it to their corporate office the manager refused to call us and corporate told us they could do nothing.

At the end of February I noticed that the seams on the front of the couch were beginning to crack around the stitches and I promptly called stainsafe to report the problem(it must be reported within 5 days) I was told to fax the receipt and warranty packet to them, which I did but cannot prove, on March 19 I received a card in the mail stating that they were voiding my claim and that they would never repair that part of the couch because I fail to fax the receipt, warranty and 5 photos of the damaged area, I immediately tried to obtain the proof that I faxed the receipt and warranty I had not been told to fax pictures, but because it took them 50 days to notify I could not obtain the proof I needed.

I feel that this should not affect the warranty, I paid for a service and I feel it would be up to these two companies to transmit the information needed to service the customer. I did register my warranty online shortly after receiving it. The Stainsafe company has a negative rating with the BBB and American Signature says the will do nothing to help me.

Falsely advertised 15 year full warranty, no hassle bedding (no need to turn or flip) but first suggestion by manager Mike Dunn was to turn the bed! First date of complaint was on 5/22. We placed an order for a considerable amount of furniture on April 30 of 2003. The Order number is 838.

When we ordered the furniture we were told that it would be available for delivery in late May. I called around May 23rd to find out that it was now going to be the end of June for some items and the middle of August for another item. Also that some items were available then.

I called back 2 weeks later to find out that items that were available 2 weeks previously were no longer available and that those items would not be available until late June.

Then the first week of June I called to find out that the fabric for the pillows for the sofa and loveseat was not available or defective and that it was now going to be the end of June for the sofa and loveseat which had been available in the warehouse 3 weeks earlier.

It seems that items are not slotted for customers when they are available and it is not until ALL items are available at the same time that they are then assigned to a customer.

I called on June 23rd to find out the status. I was told that according to information that they had just received that the sofa and loveseat would be in the warehouse on June 30th but the 2 end tables were no longer in stock in the warehouse (they were 3 weeks earlier) but they would give us the ones off the floor until new ones were available. That would be acceptable.

I just spoke with the folks at the 7475 W. Colonial, Orlando, FL store and was now told that the sofa and loveseat would not be available for delivery until July 17th at the earliest. The woman I spoke with thought that it was hilarious that it's taken so long. She said" Oh well these things happen". I did not think it was very funny at all.

We chose American Signature Home Furnishing because we felt that the quality was good and the prices were fair and also the most important item was that we would not be waiting 12 to 18 weeks like other furniture stores for delivery. Based on my many phone calls I now get the feeling that it was only LIP service in order to get a sale.
