I’ve been a regular at this Dairy Queen for years and have always ordered a small tap water alongside my food or ice cream with no issue. This time, I was charged $2.89 for a small cup of tap water—which is more than the $2.69 bottled water they sell. When I called to ask if it was a mistake, I was told this is “just their practice.” There is no signage, no heads-up—just a surprise charge that makes zero sense. Charging more for tap water than bottled isn’t just ridiculous, it’s exploitative. I don’t mind paying for what I get, but I won’t support a place that takes advantage of basic decency.

I've been a life long customer. Just purchased a small and large Blizzard. I get it that the price is more, but with tax is cost 18.59. Get real. This is soft serve. Not made in China. Not just the price is the issue, they but soft serve on the bottom, a layer of treats and more soft serve. They did not even mix it thoroughly. At these prices it should be treated as a deluxe treat, but I can pick up something more enjoyable from the grocery store. No longer a DQ customer. These companies are running themselves out of business.

Extremely Disappointed With The Lack Of Customer Service and Integrity!! Me and my family have been a loyal customer to this establishment from when I was a little girl and once I became an adult and a mother I continued being a loyal customer even with my kids that’s now adults with the exception of one. I’ve always enjoyed stopping by at least 3-5 times a month, I come a lot with my 12 yr old daughter and we visit quite frequently where I’ve build a great rapport with the owner, well at least that’s what I thought until tonight’s visit.

Tonight 7/13, I ordered a banana split as I have the last few visit for myself and a brownie Oreo Confection for my daughter; it was really busy tonight but the line moves fast so I wasn’t alarmed by the crowd. The owner took my order for the banana split and asked if I wanted pecan or nuts and I said no as always, and asked if I wanted a cherry on top which she’s never asked me that before and I said sure. She instantly walked off to start my order but I was letting her know “no whip cream" and that I have another item to add I wasn’t done ordering. She signaled the other young lady to add the second ice cream that I wanted for my daughter and they instantly moved me to the waiting window as they normally do where you pay and pick up.

They fixed my order asked if I wanted tops on them I said yes they bagged them up and I walked to my truck, handed my daughter her ice cream removed mines from the bag and my banana split had whip cream all across the top and my ice cream just looked runny and rushed and not appealing as it normally does. I instantly went back to the window spoke with the owner and expressed to her no whip cream, this where everything went LEFT. She was like, "You didn’t tell me no whip cream," and I’m calm still and was like, "Yes I did but you walked off. Maybe you didn’t hear me," she said, "I did hear you and you didn’t say no whip cream," ok now I’m like, "Are you going to make me another one without whip cream or you can refund me." She said, "I’m not refunding you anything and as a one time courtesy I’ll remake it but I won’t do it again."

So now of course I’m frustrated with how she’s handling me over whip cream and have the nerves to be loud talking as if we’re not face to face in the window. She then said, "After this Do Not Return back," and I responded, "I had no plans on coming back after being disrespected about a mistake you made that could’ve been resolved smoothly quietly and professionally," but to my surprise she showed me a side I would have never even thought I’ll witness let alone experience:

I’ve supported this location as I mentioned for decades, I’ve participated in so many surveys per her request and opted out taking the free pint of ice cream just as a loyal customer and I’ve been extremely understanding when mistakes have been made in the past and I didn’t make a big fuss about it. Tonight she has taught me that being loyal and supportive only go as far as they allow it to go and they will treat and dismiss you as if your business isn’t appreciated and respected. I truly hope it was worth loosing loyal customers!!

Dear Dairy Queen Customer Service Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment located at 2425 Truscott Dr, Unit 13a, Mississauga, ON L5J 2B4. During my visit, I was disappointed by the staff's unprofessional conduct. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for my order to be handed to me, and this was the owner's son serving me, but he never finished my order, during which time three employees were simply standing around and not attending to customer needs. This lack of attentiveness contributed to a frustrating experience. Additionally, the store environment was far from satisfactory. The interior had an unpleasant odor reminiscent of a washroom bio, which I understand is a recurring issue at this location. This made the dining experience uncomfortable and unappetizing.

Furthermore, I suffered food poisoning after consuming a milkshake purchased from your store, which was a serious health concern. I also found the salad to be overpriced and of poor quality; it appeared to be rotten and not fresh, which is unacceptable for any food establishment. Overall, my experience at this Dairy Queen location was disappointing due to poor management, cleanliness issues, and subpar food quality. I hope you will take these concerns seriously and address the repeated issues to improve the quality of service and environment at this location.

I went to Dairy. Went to get lunch today on General McMullen. Ordered a fish sandwich, picture looks good & for 5$ and change. Thought it would be a good size. I forgot to ask for cheese so I asked at the window. They said it would be.78 cents for a slice of cheese. I asked for extra tartar sauce and they charge for that too. Needless to say I didn’t get either but when I received my sandwich it was smaller than a chicken tender. I was very disappointed and still hungry never again. Sandwich was actually good but too small for the price.

Today I stopped into Dairy Queen in Easton Md. around 4 o clock. The service was bad. It took one girl around 5 min to come take my french fries order. Then I move from the food line to go order an ice cream cone. Mind you one customer was being waited on. She was getting milk shakes. That was fine. Didn't mind the wait. But afterwards the worker was steady talking to her customer about her personal life. I'm standing up there patiently. She act like she never seem me. I stood there for almost five minutes. Then I turn on my heels and left. I'm not going to play the race card. But come on. This is my first time being treated like this here. But what's going on. I end up going to McDonalds for my ice cream cone. And it was $2.00 cheaper. So I end up being a happy camper. But for me I would not recommend Easton Dairy Queen. Unless you look like them.

I asked for 2 kid's meal and when she asked what drink I stated sprite for both. I asked for medium fries for one of the combos. Instead of stating that they don’t have it they gave fries and basically nothing on there and I ordered a basket. Now that I got home it looks like they prepared something for a dog. I asked very manner-able about my order and the lady on the drive thru mic immediately got an attitude as if I asked her to pay for my food. When the manager immediately asked, "Are you waiting for the kid's meal," I said yes but I also noticed another issue on my transaction. She also took a deep breath, rolled the eyes and gave me attitude. If my kids didn’t want to eat the damn food I would have never stopped. Disappointing Experience at Dairy Queen. I recently visited Dairy Queen location 1710 Cavalier Dr Sioux Falls, SD 57107. I had a truly frustrating experience. Right from the start, things went wrong. Our baby was crying, which made the visit already challenging. To make matters worse, they gave us the wrong order, which was disappointing enough, but the nightmare continued when they also messed up our change.

We had to wait an excruciating 15 minutes while they sorted out the change issue, which added to our stress. To top it all off, the cashier was not only unhelpful but also rude and aggressive in her responses. It felt like we were a burden rather than valued customers. Overall, this visit was a letdown. I expected better service, especially during a busy time. I hope they improve their customer service and order accuracy in the future.

Passing through Tifton GA as my friend and I are driving home from Florida. I had a taste for ice cream and my friend said she’d never been to a Dairy Queen. Unbelievable! So we stopped at the one on 7th St in Tifton. Went inside and immediately our feet were sticking to the floor. I ordered a hot fudge sundae and not being that familiar with DQ I presumed it came with the works. The worker handed me a cup with a small amount of chocolate sauce, (it was not hot fudge, incidentally,) and I frowned and said, don’t you add whipped cream and things like that? She replied “you have to order it that way.” I frowned and took my measly sundae and went to sit at a table but the floors were so disgustingly sticky and dirty I sat outside.

I only ate about three spoonfuls of the ice cream because there was only enough chocolate sauce for that much, and, again, it wasn’t hot fudge. I threw away the ice cream and my friend came out with her hamburger which had ketchup on it when she asked for only mustard and pickles. I went to wash my hands in the bathroom and there was absolutely no soap in the dispenser. A dirty restaurant with subpar staff and no soap for them to wash their hands. The whole experience was pretty unnerving. I don’t think my friend will be likely to try a DQ again.

Was not all a big deal. I then noticed that my son had actually ordered a mini instead of a small so I said, "Hey since I ordered one to small on accident how about of if I keep the one that is particularly spilled and maybe you could make me one bigger for my son".

The cashier looked at the manager and said is that ok and she never answered her so I scraped the top off and started to eat it while they made the replacement. At this point they still hadn’t given my son the mini so I thought all was ok. The manager walks out with the replacement blizzard and literally took the half eaten blizzard out of my hand as I was eating it and threw it in the garbage. And handed me the replacement. And the replacement looked nothing like the original and was not as good. She then handed my son the mini we had ordered. High quality fast food, Costs a bit more but usually well made and fresh. What is quite upsetting, however, the upcharges. You buy a 4 chicken strip basket, you better be ready to sparingly allocate a single dipping sauce onto the four good size strips, unless you’d like to BUY a second dipping sauce. Or let’s say you buy a 13 dollar burger, you want to add onions? That’ll be an extra charge, TO ADD ONIONS. I understand the times we are in, however, when your company charges a premium price for fast food you should have some allowances to fulfill extra requests within reason. I don’t want to be charged for a second dipping sauce, or onions on my burger, that’s ludicrous.

There was a small block of fudge square/slivers stuck together at the bottom of the cup. Overall, It didn't taste at all like it sounds. You think it will be a creamy, chocolate mousse pie flavor (maybe), decadent with fudge pieces and chocolate ice cream. It actually tastes like a treat you'd buy at the fair. Dairy Queen where I live over $30 for my husband gets and it's the same thing every time and I keep saying I'm not going back but because it's close we go back. I asked for on my husband ask them to make the burgers specific way and he paid for the extras he asked for. Hopefully I can post a picture to show you what he actually got. This is not. I'm having to remake my own Burger. I'm having to put on some mayo, put on some ketchup, put on some mustard, put on some pickles. I don't have another tomato because all they gave me was the butt of the tomato..in that it was no more tomato to be cut off of it and it looked as if someone had gotten a not so sharp knife and tried to cut a tomato and the whole tomato squishes down. Well in this case there was nothing to squish down. What I showed you is what we got. Extra vegetables. That chunk of tomato oh more like a hunk I don't know but that was the extra...

This was on both of them, we asked for mayo mustard and ketchup. You know what we got? We got a splotch of mayo in the middle of the bun. One Bun he specifically said, "Can you put mayo, mustard and ketchup on top and bottom bun," that seems to be a concept that nobody seems to get... The top bun is the big rounded one on top. Bottom bun is about flat bottom on the bottom. That seems so simple to me but evidently not so to other folk... That's what I got. My hubby had no lettuce, tomatoes... We paid for extra and that mess is what we got. We paid for a strawberry shake and what we got was pink tinted foamy milk!!!!

If you check the address of where our Dairy Queen is and where our home is it's probably about 4 to 5 minutes away, so there was no reason for the so-called Shake to be liquid and no we couldn't bring it back because we were on the disgusted level. So we gave and I say gave Dairy Queen number 14031 Duncanville 607 South Main Street, we gave them $28. Oh I'm sorry $27.91. My husband will work on the lawn so in essence he worked in the Sun for you because you got what he earned today. Somebody needs to call me my phone number is ** and my name is Jane. When I’ve ordered and requested to enter my rewards information, I’ve been told to scan the app. I don’t have the app because my iPhone has a 15.8 IOS and the Dairy Queen app requires at least a 16.0 IOS. I’ve told the cashier I want to enter my phone number to accrue points, but I’ve been told that I can’t enter my number myself, that they must enter my number. The employees always have had an attitude when asked to do this. When I wanted to redeem points that I had accrued for a free mini blizzard, the employee didn’t know how to do this and had to get the manager to help. The manager had difficulty doing this transaction, also.

I received a free medium sundae as a birthday reward that I tried redeeming last evening. This was so humiliating. Again I told the employee that I was redeeming my free birthday sundae. The employee didn’t know how to enter this transaction, so they got the manager. Again I was told to scan the app, which I explained that I couldn’t load on my iPhone since my IPhone has a 15.8 IOS instead of a 16.0 IOS. I wanted to enter my phone number so she could access my rewards account and access my rewards account. The manager had to enter my number to access my account. She couldn’t find my free birthday sundae. I showed her my email containing the free sundae. She attempted to deduct the free sundae multiple times and still was unable to do so.

In the meantime, about 8 other customers had lined up behind us and were waiting to order. My husband wanted to just pay for my free sundae, but I insisted not to pay for it. Otherwise, it would have expired by the next time I returned to this Dairy Queen, which is 20.5 miles from my house. I asked the manager if they could use the other register which was not being used so that the other customer’s orders could be taken. She said no, so everyone in line had to continue waiting for the manager to try to apply my free sundae credit to our total. Eventually we were not charged for my free sundae.

I have enough rewards points to redeem for a free blizzard, but I am not looking forward to returning to this Dairy Queen again to try and redeem my free blizzard. I know that my husband definitely will not be present when I attempt to get a free blizzard with my rewards points. Dairy Queen rewards definitely is not a user friendly rewards program. I don’t know if all Dairy Queen locations have this issue, but the Dairy Queen on Easton Avenue in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is not reliable for using Dairy Queen rewards.

Had survey coupon for ice cream sandwich, was informed by counter girl they were out. I said, "Excuse me," she turned to 3 workers around her, one pointed to a young man to make it. When he came back from the back with part of it he is grinning and showing it to the others, made me feel like he had done something to it. While making it one of the girls asked him why he was using something, it's behind a counter but l think it was the ice cream, she then took over and finished it. I tossed it because I got a bad feeling.

The person that first started was working a window, he did not wash his hands before or after, just wiped them with a towel on the counter. Then you have the guy that puts his head down on the counter to sleep after handing a man a shake, the man had to ask for a straw and then for a spoon. The survey receipt says it's only good at that one place, why? The crew there is disgusting, I told myself after the first and only time I had been there to never go back, but the ice cream sandwich sounded good and I am out that way for church. I am sorry to complain but the thought of someone messing with food is more than I can handle. If you have cameras watch them! And don't worry I am not looking for a freebie.

Although it was good, the dried options are no replacements for the wet walnuts and fruit toppings that we once craved. The order is rarely correct, and the employees seem to be goofing off most of the time. This totally falls on the management and the owner. If it wasn't for it being so close we would not come here. On the other hand, the DQ on Federal on Pompano Beach is just the opposite and we have complemented that owner on how well organized they are. 1000 percent. I think this badly run DQ needs to shut down, this way we will be forced to go to Pompano Beach to get a better experience.

Me and a small group of friends, maybe 3 others, went into Dairy Queen to get food. We ordered our food and sat down. One of the employees went up to our table and told us we had to leave due to the manager's request. We asked them why, and they said because we were under the age of 18. I don't know how they knew we were underage, but they did. Why people under 18 aren't allowed, I don't know, it isn't like a bar or anything. When we were leaving, we got our food but I never got my drink. I went to the cashier and asked for a drink, then showed my receipt. The person said I couldn't get one because it said I ordered water, even though I didn't. The drink is a part of the meal that I paid for, and I should have gotten it. I honestly don't recommend going to Dairy Queen due to this incident, it was frustrating and annoying. They let minors work there, but not eat there? Pretty dumb.

Intercom doesn’t work well, either that or they just can’t hear anything. The small cones are suppose to be 75 cents dipped or regular. Mgr doesn’t know what she is doing and has terrible customer service. She stated that the fruity blast dip, you have to pay regular price. Doesn’t make sense. Every DQ needs to be on same page which Seagoville DQ are not. Worst service ever.

If someone can tell me how to rate this lower than a 1, I'll do it. First, let me tell you about simply trying to get the food. I pulled into the drive-thru lane with one car at the speaker. To be clear, we were the only two cars in the entire line. That car ordered their food and pulled forward to the window. So, I, of course, pulled up to the speaker. The person at the other end of the speaker asked me to wait before placing my order. The car at the window got their food and drove away. I waited a few more seconds in silence before saying "Hello?" Only then did they come back on to take my order. The ONLY customer at the entire restaurant (they only do drive-thru), and I had to remind them that I was there in order to place my order?

So, now let me tell you about the food itself... Wait, I can't. They brought me the wrong food. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I was the only customer, meaning they only had one order to work on. And they got that one order wrong. But certainly, after waiting so long, then getting the wrong food, they would make up for it with exceptional customer service, right? WRONG!!! When I asked to speak to the manager to voice my frustration at the length of time it took to get the wrong food, and ask for a refund instead of waiting for new food, her answer was (and I quote) "I don't get paid enough to listen to complaints. Call the owner." When I asked for the owner's information, she responded "It's on the website." Then she walked off and disappeared back into the locked building. No food. No refund.

That's correct. As a perfect punctuation to this customer service nightmare, I still have not received a refund of my $25.72.

Total cost was $6.80 for an 8 pc. I liked it so much I thought I would get more after church on Sunday but Yakima Ave location was closer so went there. BAD choice!

Had same 8 pc order, but the chicken was barely warm, fries were the frozen bag variety and were cold and soggy with grease and no dip sauce - and they charged me $9.19!! I asked why the price difference and was told they are privately owned and can charge whatever they want. It was only after I drove away from window that I noticed poor quality food. Wanted to take it in to get my money back but lobby is closed, doors locked. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice - well never mind, I just won't EVER go back to that location again!

I have been going to the Coon Rapids River Rapids Drive location for many years for lunch. I always order the same thing every time which is the chicken basket combo with a twist sundae and toppings. Dairy Queen has always done a good job with my food. I've Never had a problem until the other day. I ordered my usual meal and asked for my usual sundae with toppings. The lady at the counter asked if I wanted it in a cone. I said no because I never have ever gotten my sundae in a cone. (It would be annoying to have to hold a cone and eat a meal at the same time). I said I wanted my sundae in a cup/bowl. Never had any issues with this before. I paid for my food then sat down and waited for it to come.

My order came and they had obviously put the ice cream and toppings in a CONE after I had said NO and dumped it upside down in a bowl!!! I was so pissed because they have NEVER EVER done this to me before in all the years I have been visiting Dairy Queen, even other locations other than Coon Rapids! Not sure if this is a new policy for people who order sundaes without a cone!! Or someone made a mistake with my sundae order and was too lazy to make the correct one!!!! So they just dump it UPSIDE down in the bowl!!?!!

So I had to scrape the ice cream out of the cone as best as I could to get it into the bowl. The ice cream was so less than what I usually get for what I pay for. Then I threw away the empty cone in the trash. There were hardly any toppings and ice cream left and that was way less than what I have always gotten. Plus it was all mushed together since I had to scrape it out of the damn cone! Very angry and disappointed in Dairy Queen this time! Posted this same review on their google review page and no response. Management has had the time to attend to more recent complaints though!

Food wise it's the standard fair of burgers and hotdogs. I would say it's reasonable but nothing amazing on the food side. Dessert wise they are great. Ice cream and brownies are my favorite so maybe I'm biased. Dairy queen brings the A game in desserts. Do I suppose to call and get another free ice cream bar?

We ordered $30.00 worth of food. (2) Grilled chicken sandwiches. We ordered 11 minutes before closing time. The lights turned off while we waited, meaning they closed (taking no more orders). We got our food and drove home. Upon inspection, two grilled chicken sandwiches looked awful. One of the chickens was black and both had a tiny sprinkle of lettuce in the middle of the mayo on the top of the bun. We drove back the next day to ask the cashier to speak to a manager, she said there were two working. I had to ask to speak to one of them. We were told they don't do refunds or exchanges. I had expressed many times that one chicken is burned and they didn't really have lettuce. We went back and forth on that several times. The cashier told us to look behind her at the machine and that they have no control over how it is cooked. I told her they could have put another chicken in and the fact there is literally barely any lettuce.

We were told twice that we should have called. I had to explain again that we ordered at 8:49pm. The receipt closed at 8:52pm and we had to wait for the food. The lights were turned off while we were waiting. The store was closed. We were asked to lift the other chicken up to see the other side. I said it was not burned. So I tried prying it up but it was glued to the bun. I was offered no napkin. I went to a table and got one myself. I said I realize some places close at closing time or close early to leave at closing time. The manager came back with, "Nobody leaves before 9PM. We leave at 9:10PM to close the store up. You should have called." I again had to explain we didn't get to see the food until we got home and that the store was closed. When I'm at a drive thru and I know the store is closing and it takes 15 minutes to get home. I know that the store will not answer a phone past closing time.

Both managers came to the front alongside the cashier and offered a store manager phone number to contact the next day (tomorrow) or we can stop by. I asked the cashier what to do with the sandwiches, she had to page the manager, and we were told to do whatever with them, to leave them or bring them tomorrow if we come. I need to mention that another employee behind the open window in the kitchen kept watching what was going on too. The only apology received was about the fact that they weren't going to do anything. We were told the shift managers have no authority to refund or exchange anything. Then why have them at all? How can they provide customer service? By this time I'm really mad and speaking loudly at the cashier. I centered myself and apologized to her and that I was just angry at the situation, she took it well and understood, even though she did irritate me, like she was removing blame.

But, as I grabbed the sandwiches, she told us not to worry and that the store manager is usually good at dealing with this stuff. In fact, nobody took blame and it felt as if they were trying to make us look like we're just complaining for no reason and that we should have been the responsible ones to call in that night when they were closed. Customers shouldn't have to dissect their food before leaving. Nor should they have to banter back and forth with employees. This store is on a HWY and 15 minutes away. Even if we lived 5 minutes from this location, there was no time to call back. It's the fact they turned out their lights while we were waiting for the food, so we knew they were closed. How hard is it to understand that?

They were closed and expected us to call. I don't know how many more times I need to say this before it sinks in. Or again, the sandwiches didn't have but a bit of lettuce and one of them was black. Let it sink in. We were condescended. I will never eat here again, ever. My food was good, and I was surprised, it's the simple fact this place is not friendly at all. Too bad right? That is how we felt when we left.

The pie blizzards were great for people who didn't want a ton of candy pieces in their ice cream. The only blizzards I get now is the banana split and occasionally the salted caramel which I still end up picking some of the candy out. It was nice to bite into pie crust, whipped cream and simple ice cream instead of having a mouth full of candy and a little ice cream. On Friday, June 8, I bought side salads with a meal at the Dairy Queen in Roscoe Illinois. When I got them home, my wife and I found slimy stuff on the lettuce. It was truly inedible. The obvious problem is lack of sanitary procedures, and changing out old produce. My wife sent a complaint to Dairy Queen, and so far has received no response. I do not judge for someone doing something wrong. I judge by how they respond. SLIME!

One hefty girl behind register, grabs burger and tells the back kitchen to add fries to it so they can take it to the right customer... "Ah hello, I saw the whole thing" I told her. There's no way I am eating a burger that a customer has touched already trying to figure out if it's her order or not. They apologized profusely but I still asked for my money back. When we asked for the voucher for the sundaes (we got the meal deal), he gave us a handwritten note for them (again, on only 1 written piece of paper - not 2). I guess he assumes we will be coming back together. He then told us we could never have a voucher again. We also asked for ketchup - that was not in our bag (along with no napkins). They just suck and didn't care! I can see why we were the only people there. Oh, my chicken sandwich was 2 chicken tenders - if I wanted tenders, I would have ordered them.

The reason for low scores revolve around CLEANLINESS. Specifically, the stainless steel collars used to make blizzards. When not in use they sit in nasty water that is suppose to drain which it doesn't. The crew member simply picks up a collar, rinses it off then uses it on the next order. THIS IS DISGUSTING! The ice cream and Blizzard choices plus mix-ins is very good. The crew members are mostly teenagers or young adults and are focused on their world revolving around them at the time. This is true in every industry though so Dairy Queen really can't be singled out for that score. Thank you.

Dairy Queen chicken strips changed my life for the better. However, my experience with this product in Sweet Home Oregon has been better than what I have been served from other Dairy Queen locations. I visited Corvallis, Oregon and ordered a normal 6-piece chicken strip basket with ranch and it was nothing compared to what Sweet Homes Dairy Queen serves to its customers.

Quality: The quality is fantastic. Everything is cooked just right, and always hot and fresh as soon as you get it handed to you. Quantity: The quantity is one of the best parts about Dairy Queen's chicken strip baskets. When I order I ask for the 6 piece basket, but in it I usually receive 7 or 8 big and juicy full sized chicken strips. It comes with a few hand fulls of salty, delicious fries, and finally a toasted piece of bread buttered to perfection, all served to you in a big red box.

Customer Service: The customer service is average. They aren't always the most cheerful and eager when taking your order, but sometimes the perkiness can be a little extra anyways. The wait time on chicken strips is usually five minutes, but its well worth the wait. The employees at the window are usually kind and as quick as possible.

Taste: The taste is hands down the best part. The taste of everything that comes in the basket is absolutely incredible. The chicken strips are the perfect amount of crispy, and never too hot so you won't need to worry about burning your tongue. The fries are salted just right, and never burnt. The toast is always extra buttery and toasted just how I like it.

Price: I believe when buying this chicken strip basket, you get more than what you pay for. The cost comes to around $7.50, but I would be willing to pay even more for this delicious meal. You can add a drink for only one dollar more, but I usually stick with water. To conclude my opinion and review on Sweet Home, Oregon's Dairy Queen chicken strips: I very much approve. I would definitely recommend them to a friend, and think everyone should be able to enjoy the luxury that comes along in a chicken strip basket.

We visited a local DQ store for dinner and was excited to see that the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard is back. I don't know how very long it has been since I purchased one of DQ's "pie" flavor Blizzards, but I remember enjoying just about any Blizzard flavor I have tried. Whereas I have had disappointing experiences with some of their other menu items, not so with the Blizzard treat -- until today.

The Pumpkin Pie Blizzard I received tasted terrible! It tasted like ordinary vanilla laced with a little nutmeg and overly crunchy (about to the point of being stale) shortbread cookie pieces mixed in. If there were any real pumpkin pie pieces in that Blizzard, I didn't find them! That Blizzard tasted so bad that when the server brought our meals, I asked him about the Blizzard and what was in it, having mentioned that I didn't find any pie pieces in it. He explained that they use "pie filling," but didn't address my dissatisfaction nor the fact that even if there was pie filling in that thing, it could barely be tasted!

I don't want to complain about the kid who was clueless when it came to customer service. There's just so much ignorance among people working in the service sector these days that customers can rarely escape such inexcusable treatment. However, I do mean to complain about DQ's rather deceptive advertising of the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard! Or, could it be that the local franchisee is falsely "interpreting" the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard recipe in a way that isn't sanctioned by DQ corporate? Either way, what I received didn't measure up!

Updated on 09/22/2017: Whenever I have a disappointing experience with a company's product or service, I try to do the right thing and alert them to the situation in a kind and considerate way -- just as I did by sending information to Dairy Queen via their website electronic mail. I wrote to let them know that I purchased a Blizzard treat that tasted terrible and I had concern that advertising for the item could be perceived as being deceptive. I did receive an e-mail reply as anticipated, but it was a typical form letter that really didn't address the specifics of the concern.

So, I telephoned corporate headquarters to make an inquiry. The customer service rep didn't seem to be as familiar with DQ products and advertising / promotions as one might expect for someone working in their "fan relations" department. She couldn't answer the question about corporate policy for how exactly a Blizzard treat is supposed to be prepared. She didn't seem to be aware of current advertising for the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard. Because it seemed so odd that she should seem so out-of-touch with DQ's product line, I asked where she was located. She said that she was "in Canada." That, too was a bit odd, because I dialed the Minneapolis phone number and not the number for Ontario, nor the general toll free number.

Given the pattern of her speech, I thought maybe I could be talking with a representative based outside North America. She very politely communicated that she was only able to forward messages to other people at Dairy Queen who could call back. In other words, her role is not to serve as a "fan relations specialist" but merely to work as an agent for an answering service.

Yet according to Dairy Queen International's "Contact Us" web page, here is what they claim their "fan relations" operators can do: "They can answer any questions you may have..." Based on my experience, that statement is NOT TRUE. Just like it appears that DQ's advertising claim to have real "pumpkin pie pieces" in the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard treat is NOT TRUE. Making false claims to customers is wholly inappropriate!!!

And as we know, there are even laws against that kind of behavior! I can accept that life is not perfect and any business can encounter situations beyond their normal control that will displease or upset a customer. However, there is no excuse for bending, twisting or otherwise mangling the truth in order to gain market share. I'll gladly accept mistakes and imperfection when I know that intentional deception is not involved. But when deception is intentional and appears to have been part of the marketing plan... that's when it's time to take my business elsewhere.

The Dairy Queen in Harleysville opened a new site. The Blizzards are full of ice cream but the ingredients are far and few between. We have tried at least 5 times since they opened, and we pay a price but hardly any ingredients. Will not go in future. Also, they have on their drive thru sign "If not served upside down" a free blizzard. They claim they do not honor this. Then why have it on the sign? Very poor quality and the young staff do not listen to the orders.

Stopped for a quick burger after a hot day in Coaldale Alberta DQ. Ordered a snack and it was the western BBQ burger meal. Terrible excuse as it was put together with cold BBQ sauce and was tasteless. The drink machine was foamy and blew out all over the machine as well as several of the drinks had no color or syrup just like carbonated water. The ice maker was also empty and after several complaints an employee walked around with a scoop full of ice cubes sharing them with whoever wanted instead of filling the dispenser.

When we complained about the juices not being right she said, "oh well just try another flavor." She did admit the foaming was a faulty O ring. I would say the machine was short of liquid. They ran out of ice cream so a large plastic bag was brought in to refill and they threw it on the dirty floor and commenced to refill from the floor. Gross. My wife’s swiss burger was not very well prepared either. Management seemed to be foreign and not well informed to manage this business. We will never come back to eat at this place again. Once was once too many. Sorry!

Fort Worth Texas, McCart Ave. I drove through and ordered 1 taco. They asked if I wanted 3 for $5 & I said no just 1. No lettuce. It cost $2. I got it and see why you needed 3. They were not quite 4" wide. I almost couldn't find it in the gigantic paper they wrapped it I'm that probably cost more than the taco. I stopped the car and went in. I said, "are things so bad off for you that you have to lower your portions to this extreme?" I left him the taco. I said "consider it a contribution. You Must Need It More Than me." Sad so sad. They used to be good and still could be, but how can you enjoy a taco that costs a dollar a bite and costs $2?

Great service but one of your employees her name's Ashlyn she sells some of the employees her ** brownies and she talks to them about when she is making some more and how much they will cost. I believe you all should get this handled because that is not okay to be having a employee selling ** brownies there at your business.

Stayton Oregon Dairy Queen at 2 pm on 7-16-2017 got a hamburger, had some kind of chemical in it, tasted like a cleaner maybe (not really tasted many cleaners). Immediately got very sick after taking one bite, sadly I swallowed it before I realized. Sat by the side of the road and vomited for a long time. French Fries were wet as if they had been in water. Not sure what is going on at this DQ but look out! Would hate to have given that to a child. Probably just a cleaner on the counter but it scares me if someone put stuff in my food.

I went to Dairy Queen in Rialto Ca on Riverside Ave. And I got a receipt that said to go online and complete a survey and I will get a free Dilly Bar and the website was listed on the receipt. I go online to the provided website to find out this is not the correct site and I can't complete the survey. I tried for 4 days thinking I was doing something wrong but come to find out the website was incorrect. When I told the owner the receipt had incorrect information on it and I could not do the survey and can I get my dilly bar I was told, "Sorry. You're right. The website is wrong but I cannot give you a dilly bar because you didn't complete the survey in the allowed time." Nowhere on the receipt does it say I have a certain time to complete and the provided site that they gave me and circle was wrong.

The workers and owner knew it was wrong and never disclosed it nor do they honor their error and they told me to call corporate because it is corporate fault even they knew the advertisement was wrong. This is beyond false representation when you knowingly advertise something that is incorrect. Misleading and wrong it is. I'm still pursuing this until I get results. I will write a complaint everywhere I can until I am heard and this is resolved.

I go to this Dairy Queen 3 to 4 times a week with or without my grandkids but the last couple experiences with my Strawberry and Banana blizzard with pecan has been horrible. However, this last experience with this young lady she gave me 2 perfect blizzards and the 3rd was just a milkshake with pecans. When asked to redo it she said she can redo it but she guarantee it would be the same. It wasn't the same. IT WAS WORSE!!! AND A LESS AMOUNT!!! I went inside to speak to a manager but there was only young kids available. I got the store number and have yet to hear from a manager. This Dairy is in Harwich Port Massachusetts. I'm angry because if I'm spending 15 to 25 dollars each time I go there I was want exactly what I ordered, and I don't want a young lady telling me otherwise. Perhaps they need a course on customer service, if so I am available.

Yesterday, Sunday, June 11th @8:15 pm, I went with my two kids to get ice cream from DQ Hay Blvd. Oakville, while my wife was waiting in the car outside. I had a coupon to redeem for ice cream. When the associate was ringing me in (that lately he introduced himself as the store manager) he came up to a price that I thought was bit high, so I asked - from a curiosity standpoint - on how did he come up to that price and if the coupon discount was included? A very simple and straightforward question that any customer has the right to ask!!

Suddenly, I found this gentleman turned to be very sarcastic and in a very disrespectful tone - as if he's talking a ** - (and not to an MBA holder with a degree in pharmacy), he starts saying; "Look there at the price list and you can see yourself; it's **$ and then add the coupon so it comes up to **$ then you must know that here in Canada we pay taxes, so it come to **$!!" I was speechless for a moment who dare this person talk like that in front of my kids! I then told him, "Listen you need to speak in a more appropriate way... it's my right as a customer to ask and you need to answer in a decent way." Instead of apologizing or even clarifying himself, he went even further by saying, "Listen I don't want you in my store you can leave now!!"

At that point I promised him to teach him a lesson on customer services and how to be polite with all people despite their race or color and asked him to call the police to report this incidence. He refused and kept asking me to leave and that put more stress on my little one who run outside to her mom waiting in the car, while he continues shouting on me, "You're making a scene here, your breath smells!! Leave my store!!!" I insisted to call the police but he refused again, hence to avoid more stress on my elderly kid who was still in the store, I promised this arrogant store manager to teach him another lesson through sharing this case via all the official and social media channels until I get my right and my kids' rights back to be treated politely as a human being before being even a pharmacist with a degree!!

These are the standards, I'm raising my kids on, is to treat everyone equally and with full respect and will not allow such a disrespectful behavior from an arrogant racist store manager to make any damage in their character, seeing such a scene. I'll pursue every possible channel to cascade up to DQ headquarter to investigate and if no response, I'll take this case to the next levels.

We ordered cake at DQ Scott Road Surrey, for my daughter's birthday. The cake they prepared was altogether different than we ordered. The staff was not at all apologetic. The cake was so bad that it can't be worse. I would recommend not to order any cake at this location.

We went as a family to DQ last night. We go usually once a month. I repeated multiple times that I wanted a blizzard with Reese pieces candies, cheesecake, and caramel. I then said not the cups only the candies as I am allergic to chocolate. It was repeated and correct. I went home and started eating it to find a piece of chocolate in it. I looked in the cup and found more! Thank God my throat doesn't close. I do however get horrible migraines and end up vomiting all night. It was a horrible and very painful night and now into the next day. People really need to be aware of the seriousness of allergies. This is the second time I have had this happen there. I have also had 3 orders remade before they didn't listen. It's not a "Oh I don't like that," I am allergic and get violently ill. Very disappointed and won't be back.

We had a party of 14 visit the Dairy Queen on the pike in Marietta, Ohio. While eating my niece had 2 ants crawl OUT of her fries. The lady (not in our party) sitting beside of us saw the ants crawling out of the fries as well and told the cashier, she smiled and the lady said "no, it's not funny". She (the cashier) took my niece's fries and I handed her mine. The cashier came back and said the ants aren't exactly in the food, we just have a problem with ants. We noticed ants crawling along the back of the seat so we moved elsewhere so the children could finish their cones, then we spotted ants crawling everywhere. Most of us threw our food away. The cashier had a napkin smashing ants on the walls and seats... If that didn't ruin our appetite!!!

The last two times I went to Dairy Queen, at two different locations, in two different states, they tried to pour my Blizzard out right in front of me, and looked me in the eye and smiled while doing so like a dog pissing on the carpet. Why would they do that? I complained to the last one, and the manager argued with me. I called the franchisee back the next day and SHE argued with me. I called Corporate and they tried to shut me up by throwing money at me, but refused to disenfranchise the store. That's right. Dairy Queen Corporate encourages franchisees and their employees to argue with customers. Never again will I go to Dairy Queen.

I took my two grandsons to Dairy Queen yesterday. Will you ordered one small ice cream cone and two blizzards: a pecan cluster blizzard with extra nuts and an M&M blizzard. The total for those three items was over $12. I thought that was ridiculous but whenever I started eating my blizzard I found the ingredients for that blizzard including the extra nuts were not present. I went up to the counter and asked why there were no nuts my blizzard and I was told that they go by a system of measurement. I basically had plain ice cream only even though I paid a lot for the blizzard. The employees were slow and very rude. I will guarantee that I will never step foot in a Dairy Queen again.
