Tonight, March 8 at around 5 PM I traveled over 30 miles to have dinner at chili's in Smyrna. Yes, I was excited because it had been over 5 months since I had the beef fa·ji·tas with all the trimmings. I was specific as to how I wanted them cooked, rare as they hit my plate and with soup. Well the soup was too spicy so I had to send it back. Some time later the dinner arrived and they were very well done, the opposite of what I ordered. Not only were they cooked wrong, but the texture of the beef was worse than leather. So I traveled over 60 miles RT for a wasted dinner. I left and just chalked it up to never return. Now that I look at all the negative remarks, I am convinced that the Mgt does not care how the customers are treated. I will post this wherever I think it will do the most good for other potential customers.

Forgot to bring out my appetizer out. Then the food came out REFRIGERATOR cold. Not cool but ice cold. I complained to the waitress and asked to tell the manager. The reply was she told the manager and nothing can be done. She will not change the bill. We were not even given an apology or even a dessert for all the time this took and left angry with the full bill. My witness was the waitress. Terrible meal!!

On today I visited the Tupelo Ms. location store#899. My server was Shue. It was a party of 3. My son and his girlfriend and child was also with us. Making it a total party of six however they were not on my ticket. I think 20002 was my order number. Once I got my food it was not good at all. The tea was watered down on bot my daughter and myself. My wife asked that no salt be on her fries. Her fries had salt and they were cold. I was suppose to have onion petals but I ended up with fries too that were cold. We had to ask for eating utensils which was acceptable. Customer service was acceptable. The overall visit was not good. My ticket was $58.59. I left a $10 tip which was the right thing to do. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but they were not preparing the food as they should.

Chili's has for years been sending me text messages for free items, yet they never honor the rewards or coupons. This began for me in 2016 and has continued into 2020. The last 3 takeout orders we have done, for example were supposed to come with a free kid's meal or a free dessert. NOTHING. So each time I go to redeem, it says I will get an email from them on how to redeem rewards, but the email never arrives. I have contacted them recently about this and they said they "know it's an issue" and are "working" on it. Meanwhile, I still get DAILY texts messages with coupons and free items, and it never works.
I have reported this as a SCAM to the FTC and you should run as far away from this corporation as possible. If you care about someone, don't let them eat at Chili's. Customer since whenever Chili's landed in Colorado. No longer a customer after this experience. You can't tell me a multinational corporation can't get their rewards program figured out, FOR YEARS NOW, yet they still send the predatory texts which and never honor the rewards or coupons. Bih, bye!

Walked in, took a seat in the bar area and found a menu card with a couple appetizers and a couple expensive and unfamiliar entrees. Asked for a menu and nope. "We don’t have menus, scan the code." I have an android so mine didn’t magically open the website, my daughter’s did bc she had her iPhone and the camera automatically pops up a link to open the Chili’s menu website. Then click the chili pepper and it will open a wall of text. All written in some boring font and lists of menu items...I need pictures...really, I don’t know which “tab” I want to order from yet. It feels like the selection is narrowed to their more expensive options. The suggestions for what to order and the photos shown were for the high dollar entrees. Can I just order the nachos, what tab are they under? Are they still on the menu?
I felt like I had to download a qr scanner app, then it wouldn’t open on the browser because Chili’s blocks my cell bars (always has), then we all just laughed because my phone was “slow”, def not the case...idk I’m not happy. Didn’t even see the buffalo chicken sandwich or the soup and salad option. But I felt like five minutes was too long to download an app, wait to load menu then scroll thru tabs of text to see if stuff was even still on the menu, so I just ordered. Food was great as usual but wow. This is silly. Next step, order online when at the table? Bar? No, we go out for service and for real offline life. It was a whole lot of, "No. Sorry. We don’t have that and can’t do that, everything’s changed, don’t you know." Also, soon to be cashless.
I can’t imagine what people who cannot read (this forces them to ask for a picture menu when before, they could just see a lot of it) or older or inexperienced folks with no smart phones are feeling. Chili’s, go back, this is too much. We left full and the server was great, it’s Chili’s that turned us off today. We won’t be back until we can head inside and forget our phones exist. And I better go buy an iPhone...no, we just won’t be back. At least offer menus to people who don’t want to use phones. Shame.

"Gluten Friendly' does NOTHING to help support those of us with Celiac disease or other gluten related disorders. It is abhorrent that you would call a menu that can hospitalize most of us "Gluten Friendly". When FDA regulation actually covers Menu Labeling I am grateful you will have to STOP THIS SCAM! In the meantime I am grateful to remind you that the GF person ALWAYS dictates where to eat and people on a medically necessary GF diet CAN NOT EAT AT CHILI'S!!!! I have a group of 5 and we can NEVER eat at chili's because of me and Chili's dedication to poisoning the GF community. I am telling everyone in my community. GF people are a nationwide community. I recently dined in your restaurant 8/29/20. It was the WORST experience ever. When we entered the establishment there was no one to seat us for about 10 min while staff just watched. We were then seated at a dirty table where we waited for over 20 min for our order to be taken. We had to call the restaurant from our table to get service. Even after people who came in after us order was taken before ours. Once served our appetizer I got instantly sick. My husband got sick later. We drive trucks all over the country and frequent Chili’s regularly and this by far was the worst experience ever by far.

We went there today for lunch. They were not busy. But we’re low on staff. Our waiter was ok. But failed to refill drinks. Food portion on 1/2 rack was a total joke. The corn was old and dried out. Manager was indifferent. I went without food. Wife’s food was ok. Then experience became very uncomfortable and they pretty much pushed us out. I was respectful and kept my voice down. I just refused to accept what was served. Not going back.

I wish I could post photos of raw chicken, or better yet gone back to have the manager try them. Last time I go to Chili's and I will tell EVERYONE about raw and salty food they serve.

Chili's used to be one of our favorite restaurants but they have really gone downhill over the years. We ordered online for curbside pickup. Two of my family members ordered a smoked brisket meal. It was so dried out (like it had been reheated in a microwave for way too long.) It was like beef jerky. All the food came in one huge bag and the two salads that was ordered were layered between hot food and were completely wilted and nasty (and inedible) upon our arrival at home (5 minute drive from Chili's). The southwestern egg rolls were decent but the ranch dressing was so thin it literally spread out on the plate like water. Chicken fajitas with rice were tasteless mess. Rice was dried out and crunchy. Just awful! For $77.00 - we were robbed. Never ever giving Chili's our business again!

I ordered online for pick up and the manager stated they didn't have an order for me. She insisted that I must have the wrong location. I then had to leave and go back to my office to obtain the confirmation email which was more time from my lunch break only for the manager to come back out and say they still don't have it. She was yelling and being very unprofessional! I asked, "Why would my receipt say I ordered here if I didn't?" She said I would have to take that up with the IT department. Long story short after more investigating she found my order. She then said they can't find online orders if they don't know the person's first name. I stated that the employee only asked for my last name. Once I finally received my food. It was good but cold! Our company normally places a lot of orders with this location but this was it for us!!

Went to Madison Heights store near Oakland Mall. Server was looking at TV as she took our order. Had to ask another server to get a refill on our chips. Took a long time to get food and when we asked about our food the server said, "Well we don’t have very many staff working." No apology; just that flat response like she didn’t care to bother with us. My son ordered fajitas and they give about a tablespoon of cheese so he asked for more and server said, "Well that’s an extra 75 cents." I mean really!!! So ridiculous. I will say the food was good. That is usually the case but service always seems poor. We have come in both when it is slow and when busy. Service is the same. If it were better we would eat here more often.

They use some kind of nasty imitation chicken in their salads. It looks like rubber and has the consistency of rubber when you chew it. Also, their ranch dressing is so thin and runny it's like water. My cousin and I got the same salad and we both sent it back. It was absolutely gross. They need to start using real chicken and I am pretty sure they use the same chicken in their fajitas as well.

Chili's restaurants are usually pretty good overall in my experiences. There have been times when the orders I'm taking too long to get to the table or orders placed online are inaccurate when picked up for to go. I believe the Chili's could benefit with more training of the wait staff to be more attentive to the customers. I have noticed especially lately with the wait staff seems to be involved with waiting on too many tables. I believe Chili's could benefit and quality of service instead of quantity of service. I know there can be a lack of enough staff at times but I believe managers should be able to adjust to it. I Believe Management could do a better job at compensating the customer with other than "I am sorry that your is not correct."

After a while she brought my wife's salad but no napkins and no soup. I asked another waitress passing by to bring napkins. My wife finished her salad and we waited, still no soup.
Next the waitress brought the triple dipper and another waitress brought my soup. The soup was cold, I sent it back. She asked if I wanted another bowl and I said no. I did not want to wait another hour. I visit this Chili's a lot for lunch and have always got better service but not great. I like to use my card at the table but this would not work. The outside was cooked and crispy, and with all of the queso sauce on the burger, the entire burger felt lukewarm (I knew it wouldn’t be hot with a 30 minute drive) until I got 25% through the burger. The meat is still fridge temperature in the middle and is still bright pink and squishy. This is the second time this has happened now. I definitely will not be back.

I went to the Chili’s address 518 FM1960 Houston, Tx this afternoon. I was seated with immediately with no problem. The server took about 5 minutes to acknowledge me and get my drink order. Once she returned with my Tea I knew what my order was because I’m a frequent Chili's customer. I placed my food order along with my loaded baked potato soup appetizer and my chips and salsa and the waiting starts. About 5 minutes later I finished my first glass of Tea and I did get a quick refill, but still NO appetizer or my chips and salsa yet. About 15 minutes after that a different server brings out my food plate, still NO appetizer or chips and salsa. My next step was to pick up the little table gadget that I was logged into and pay for the order and answer the questions about your visit. Shortly after that the appetizer was brought by my server. Mind you my dinner was already on the table.
As I was getting ready to get up and exit after paying but not eating a bite of the food the manager walks up and ask me if I requested her to come over to my table. My response was NO because I truly didn’t ask for the manager nor did I say anything to any of the workers and to top it off still NO chips and salsa. To close it out since she was there I did tell her what had happen and I had paid and was leaving and I’m sure she could tell I was pissed off and hadn’t touched any of the food and still hadn’t received chips and salsa. As I was having the conversation with the manager the server was behind us waiting on another table which I was sitting back to back with the customers, so I know she could hear what I was saying to the manager and after she finished taking their order she never came over to explain to the manager or apologize for the mistakes that were made.
I didn’t get loud or very belligerent and I did leave a tip of $ .01 on the table. After I went out to my truck reached in the ashtray to find a penny just because a tiny tip gets thought about more than NO tip because the server knows it wasn’t a oh they forgot or maybe you left a tip on your credit card payment which is an option. Sorry for the long negative review, but I did it with detail so people can tell it’s real and as a business owner I like feedback when something wrong is done thru my business.

When I got home the bites had no ranch dressing, no onions and the bacon was a joke (bacon bits). They had forgotten the shrimp on the Combo meal, so I waited while they fixed them. When I got home the shrimp were half raw and the steak was tough. I do not plan to go to this place again unless they do a better job. I did call the manager on duty.

On May 26 my husband and I ate at the Chili's restaurant in Monroe, NC. We were seated fairly quickly and ordered our drinks (water and sweet tea) and an appetizer. Our waitress brought our drinks and took our food order. Our food actually arrived before our appetizer. She apologized and said "we're going to take care of that" which I took to mean maybe we wouldn't be charged for the appetizer, but we were. We were not given any napkins (we were eating burgers and fries). She didn't come back to check on us. We finally flagged someone down and asked for napkins, which we eventually got after a few more minutes.
Again, no one checked on us and my husband's tea glass was empty for several minutes while we tried to catch someone's eye to get a refill (meanwhile he kept shaking his glass and holding it out, hoping someone would see us). We finally were able to get a refill. We finished eating and had to wait several more minutes for the waitress to bring our bill. We never got a copy of the receipt so I couldn't complete their survey without store number and ticket number. The food was good but the wait staff all acted as if it was their first night. And it was not that busy.

On 5/19/2018 my wife and my daughter and her husband and 2 young children decided to eat our dinner at Chili's. We asked the young man at the front that we would need a highchair for the 3 year old and he said we couldn't have a highchair because of where we were sitting. And it was considered a fire risk. The only booth open to us was in the bar. He ran to the other waitresses and female manager and caused an attitude with them. The manager finally let us have the highchair and there was plenty of room for them to walk through.
Our food took longer to get to us We were cramped in the booth and our table was never cleaned of the dirty dishes. We were stacking the clean on the dirty dishes to have room to eat our meal. They said the table was too small so I guess they were showing us my daughter put the empty margarita mugs on the bar to get some room and the bartender acted upset. The manager said, "Oh I'm sorry." But had walk by many times and never offered to take anything out of the way. I did not leave a tip cause she did not act like she wanted one and no buddy wearing name tags not even the manager. I have the server name because it's on the bill (Summer). The manager was a short young lady. We have been here many times and never had a problem. Your employees need an attitude adjustment. Upon arrival I walked in to the take out side of the restaurant, the manager was showing an employee something on the computer. No one acknowledge I was standing there, or greeted me, or even said one minute. I proceeded to look at the menu and asked the cashier about menu items. I asked her what came with the Triple Dipper. She told me she didn't know. I placed my order and came back to pick it up. When I arrived home I looked at my order and it wasn't prepared well at all. I ordered the rib eye meal with potatoes and broccoli. There was no broccoli. I ordered the quesadillas. They were overcooked. I ordered the Triple Dipper. It had no dipping sauces. My special needs daughter and myself went to this Chili's on Navarro St in Victoria Texas on Saturday, May 5, 2018. We walked in and a woman and young girl, around 9-10 were behind the counter. The woman took our name for the wait and the girl just stared at my daughter. We had to wait outside because the benches inside were full. Our 10 minute wait time went into 20 minutes. I went in and asked about our table, the woman said she called our name. I asked her if she bothered to check outside, she said she didn't think to do that. Really? You have enough seats for maybe 6 people and at least 10 of us were waiting, Where do you think we would be. Others were outside waiting as well.
She sat us in the bar area. After 10 minutes, our waitress named Rosa took our order. Waited 15 minutes for our food. Once the food came, we never saw Rosa again. She never checked back with us to see how our order was or to see if we needed anything else. I paid with the the self pay machine at the table, grabbed a to go box for my daughter's leftovers and left. How's that for customer service?? Will never go back to this place.

I don't care for Chili's as the food is mediocre at best, I tend to get diarrhea from the food, and the service is not consistent. But, my son loves it, so I cave in now and then and go. The food and service was mediocre, as usual. I paid with my debit card on that little table top machine. Later that night my bank emailed me about 5 suspicious transactions on my account. Whoever got my debit card number wiped my bank account out. I didn't use my card any other place that day or the day before, so I have to assume the table top payment machine had a skimmer on it.
Fortunately, my bank is not holding me responsible for the charges and I will have my money back in my account in 5 business days. I called the manager of Chili's the next day to warn him about his tabletop payment machines. He refused to believe it could have been his machine. He said in the two years they have had those machines this has never happened. I can't prove that it happened at Chili's, but I don't know how else it could have happened. He thanked me for the warning, but I doubt he will do anything to help protect his customers. My son will just have to learn to live without Chili's.

First thing I told waitress when ordering, "my son is allergic to milk and eggs". Well, one bite into his corn and his face, neck and arms were red and itching. Obviously, my son's allergies were not taken seriously and my 4 year old paid the consequence because his food came into cross contact with something. I had no complaint about the service, the waitress and other staff were very nice. The food is bland and fair at best. There is not much selection on the menu. On our table, there was an electronic device that allows you to sign up to become a member, pay your bill and play games. While waiting for the food to arrive, I played a game. To my shock, they charge for this. I had no idea. Nothing was mentioned anywhere about there being a fee. I have seen little games at other places I had been to and there was never a fee. That was the final straw for me. I went there because someone gave me a gift card but as far as I am concerned, I won't be back.

They went Sunday around 2 p.m. There was a female manager and a short waitress blonde hair who treated them terribly. The waitress overcharge them, double charge them, upcharge them without letting them know. When brought to her attention she made excuses and actually blamed them saying they probably touched something on the little kiosk that they keep on the tables. Instead of taking responsibility for her mistake and fixing it she had them wait there for an extensive amount of time and the manager didn't really seem to care. Very sad that the service is so inconsistent. This was the Chili's in Pennsylvania in the Tannersville area.

I went to Chili's (Diamond Bar, CA) last night with my son. I am already apprehensive about going there because the quality of the food and the service has gone way done in the past couple of years. We get seated and wait at least 5 or 10 minutes before our drinks even come out. We order and wait another good 20 - 25 minutes for the food. I ordered the sirloin steak, medium well. Well when I get it, it looks rather pale and almost as if it were boiled. No grill marks on it whatsoever. It didn't even look like a steak, it looked like a blob of putty on my plate. I go to cut into it and it is completely raw/rare. It starts to bleed all over my mashed potatoes and corn. I ate those right away and waited about 15 more minutes before my waitress ever came back to check on my food, by this time I am aggravated and grossed out. She finally comes over and I show her the steak and I tell her I can't eat it because it is way too bloody.
She takes it back to the kitchen, and she did ask me if I wanted a soup or salad while I waited but I declined. I just wanted my steak and to get out of there. It finally arrives about another 5 or 10 minutes later and they ask me to cut into it to see if it is cooked correctly. It was, but it was the toughest, rubberiest, chewiest steak I have ever eaten. I chewed certain pieces for what seemed like 2 or 3 minutes until I finally spit them out into my napkin. What a huge disappointment in the steak. And I've been disappointed by their steaks before so I kind of kick myself in the butt for even ordering them and trying to give them another chance. I don 't know what's going on with Chili's lately but my last 5 trips, at least, have been substandard. Seriously not going back anytime soon. Maybe ever.

Chili’s used to be one of my favorite places to dine. In fact it’s been one of my top picks for the last 30 years. However, over the past two years the quality of the food, the taste, & the service has seriously declined. After my past two visits but especially this last visit, it has become clear that Chili’s no longer takes pride in their services nor their food. Dining out should feel like somewhat of a pleasant treat, one that you don’t mind spending your hard earned money to have an enjoyable experience.
To have some sort of pleasant service, or even just half way cordial, that you don’t have to literally “flag down” every time you need something, (for instance: a napkin, drink refill, chips to go with your queso, a take out box, the check, then help to correct the check due to being charged incorrectly & once again just to make payment) really isn’t too much to ask when I am paying $12+ for lettuce that is half wilted with rubbery, precooked, microwaved chicken that is drowning in dressing. It would’ve been a far better experience to have simply stayed home, cooked fresh food as well as provide my own service & all that for an exponentially lower cost. But I chose to dine out & pay the higher cost with the expectation of paying for decent food & service. Unfortunately for Chili’s, they are now on the same level as disgusting Applebee’s & have lost this life long patron.

First of all when we arrived we were seated fast then the waiter was Bobby came to the table, introduced himself and asked if we were ready to order. We stated, “Give us a minute” but we ordered the drinks. He brought the drinks without the straws so we then asked him for the straws. He passed our table at least 4 times going other places for other customers and then next he brought our appetizers out which didn't bring our straws nor silverware out and then he said, “Huh I need to get silverware and straws?” We were just sitting there waiting all that time and then he came back with the stuff and few minutes later here he come with our meals which we were trying to finish the appetizers and the meal just sitting losing temperature.
We ate our food. He wasn't acting like he wanted to be bothered with us really. I almost just walked out of the place. I was so unhappy. Finally he came and we were ready to pay so I handed him my gift card and cash. Well I knew I last had 22.18 left on my card so she, he came back I asked him to see a receipt because I didn't feel the amount of change wasn't right so he mumbled again. Hmmm when he came back he said, “You had 11.08 on your card.” So my change was 2.12 which he still didn't leave the 12 cents which at that time I was feed up with him and the point of it all is that everything was just horrible. One thing after the other and I surely don't want to visit again just poor customer service and I am a Nutrition Manager and we serve the same way at our facility in course so I know the ropes that place need a major turnaround if the staff all work that way.

We get our coffee and it is cool, we get our soup one at a time, spouse has larger soup and mine is smaller. Had no idea who gets what soup. The main entree I order I just love, have been getting many times. This time it is not hot... and the sauce has a different taste to it.
I told her just to let her know and she says they have new cooks all the time. So there you go. Get coffee refill, it's cold again. Finally go to pay on self-pay toy, and it is missing a battery. And the glass is broke. So call her to bring bill... waiting and waiting and waiting... finally get up and go to her in back and tell her "I will pay here because I have an appointment to go somewhere." This particular restaurant did not! How disappointing is that? Do they not realize that wives serve in the military when they are married to a spouse that is military. They might not fight the war, but they are pretty much single moms raising their children, or moving from one country to another. This is more of a dissatisfaction than a complaint. In another 15 minutes my husband decided to go outside for a smoke when at the same time a young women (waitress) approach to my table (where I was still sitting with my son) upset and ask me if I was leaving or staying. No apologies, no introduction, nothing.
When I explain to her what's been happening, she just told me there were only two of them working that area. I told her that they should at least make people aware of the waiting, she just reply again if I was leaving or staying. At this point I was so upset that I requested to speak to a manager. And even though the manager apologized and offered to take our order I couldn't stay any longer. I understand the pressure the waitresses have but you can never lose your customer services touch, especially when the tip depends on it. That girl was rude, even other customers sitting around us couldn't believe how rude she was. For sure I won't be going anytime soon to at least this location.

We were treated Horrible. There was only one other family behind us with small kids. Other than that there was no one in dining area just some rowdy drunks in the bar. We were seated quickly. It took the waitress over 10 minutes to come to our table to greet us, by then we had already decided what we were going to eat and were afraid if she left she was going to wait another 10 minutes to come back. We ordered a burger, 6 oz steak and quesadilla. Well it happened another 10 minutes for us to get our soda. We waited another 40 min to get our food, in the meantime we had NO interaction with the waitress at all. After 40 minutes of waiting the steak and burger came out first. I took my daughter's plate to cut her steak and noticed that there was a huge piece of plastic cooked into it. Not just stuck, melted to it.
My fiance took a bite of his burger and it was RAW still cold inside. We then waited another 10 minutes. I still had not gotten my quesadilla yet when I asked another waitress to speak with a manager, she brushed it off like it was nothing, rolled eyes, said she would comp it and swept us out the door like garbage. This used to be my favorite place to eat. After this I'm not sure.

Was never offered any refills--I could have asked but decided to keep quiet and see if the service would improve. Next to me, my husband was getting regularly offers for refills on his soda. The food finally arrived after a long time--especially considering the hurried lunch crowd. I chalked up the lousy service to opening FUBAR's. But we went there for dinner last night, sat at the bar, and the same thing happened again. My husband was asked repeatedly if he wanted another beer, more water, etc. while I nursed (tiny) glasses of wine and had to resort to having Husband order refills in order to get noticed. The food was very slow. After I ripped the bartenders a new one and walked out, the last part of my husband's dinner arrived as he was paying the bill and asking to see a manager.

I have not been to a Chili's in years. When we went on Friday night, October 30, 2016 we were astonished to see NO prices on menus for drinks. We asked to server what the price of drinks were. We Were told "I am not sure, but they are about $2.50 each with free refills; we ordered drinks. The price of the food ordered was BOLDLY written in the one menu at $13.98 "with your choice of 2 extras". The other menu stated the same meal at $14.98 with two extras. Then when you look very close only 2 extras are shown as no charge, the others in very small print are extra.
The one no charge extra was one (1) small spoon of rice, one bite. The meal sucked!!! It was a very large mountain of cooked onions with a very small portion, a few bites, of meat, etc. We ate the "meat" and the plate was still full of onions... What a scam, a total rip off. Then we got the bill!!! $3.02 per drink, ice tea... Which was horrible!!! NOT $2.50... they are obviously charging for additional refills but just do not want to tell you. In all of my years of going to Chili's I never saw them this way. They are sooo bad. WE will never go back for any reason and suggest that no one else does. THE WORST.

After sitting at the bar for 30 minutes my daughter decided to check with the hostess who replied, "Oh you're next." After being seated we ordered drinks (nonalcoholic). We waited and waited for the server to take our order. When we placed it we waited and waited again. I finally flagged down a server and asked for our waitress he asked if he could help and I told him my wife would like her salad. We again waited and waited while people who Sat after us were served and leaving. Meanwhile no food for us. Very simple order, burger, country fried steak and tripler. I then asked for the manager and she told us she knew we were there for a while and that the server hadn't pushed her send button.
When our food was brought to us the manager said the meal was on the house for the inconvenience we endured. This was not expected but was appreciated until we started eating. My food was cold and the burger was cooked beyond being edible. My wife's country fried steak was as burnt as bad as my burger. However my daughter's food was good. I've been a Chili's customer for well over 30 years and never have I experienced the poor overall food and service. Don't care to go back for a while. Went to Chili's today with my two kids and mom. First off, the hostess basically told us she couldn't accommodate my two small kids because they don't put booster seats in the isle, so we wound up in the bar with my 1 year old and 9 month old. You'd think they would try to accommodate anyone who is still willing to be ripped off by their high priced disgusting trash food. We were not impressed with any of our entrees AT ALL. The southwestern eggrolls (one of the last vestiges from the restaurant's previous glory days back in the late 90's and early 2000's) were good. So was the chocolate molten cake, but let's be honest, how difficult is it to deep fry a premade eggroll and cut it, or put a scoop of ice cream on a premade microwaved cake?
The entrees were awful. I ordered the tilapia and promptly sent it back as soon as I took a bite. It tasted like it had started to go bad. It was also SWIMMING in grease and doused in chili powder. I asked for the chicken instead. While it at least wasn't on the verge of spoiling, it was tough and all I could taste was the thick layer of chili powder they apparently dumped on it. The rice was cold, and the broccoli was over peppered.
Seriously. How do you mess up RICE? My mom said her steak was swimming in butter and she later told me that she burped all night because of the grease just sitting in her stomach. They have changed their menu a lot the past few years and each change is just as terrible as the previous one. They are on this new tex mex thing for now and it is truly horrible. The quality of the food affects the taste and that taste is not good, or even mediocre. Bland, weird, tepid, greasy food is what Chili's has to offer these days. How can one get ALL of those in one meal? I'd sworn off Chili's 2 years ago but we went today to see if maybe they'd turned things around. They didn't. Save your money people.

I tried this store about a year ago, having been a customer at their Hutto restaurant. I really like the food here it was really good. Unfortunately, my last three visits at this particular restaurant in Stone Hill I have had 3 different problems and management is so nonchalant when you call and tell them about their mistakes, you feel like they don't care. When I got my order, which are always to go, it was busy that night but that shouldn't make a difference, I got two bags, and there was a line behind me nowhere to sit etc. Anyway, when I finally got home, I was a meal missing and one of the entrees was missing the vegetables. I checked the number of boxes this time, they were all there. When I got home one of the meals has the wrong chicken wings in it, I also ordered salmon with the chicken breast and salsa, no salsa or dressing on top of salmon.
Yesterday was the final straw, I got everything I ordered 4 meals in all, my hamburger was so greasy it was "inedible" and my French fries, were old and dry. It was only 12:00 noon so the lunch had just started. No reason for old French fries I couldn't eat them, so that was one meal which was a wash. The second was the steak burrito with rice inside, corn beans. The burrito when cut into it the rice was slushy liquid, the beans had no taste at all and because the rice was wet and slushy made the burrito inside slimy. My husband threw it all in the trash.
I am no longer going to buy food at your restaurant, I did report two of the incidents, the manager said to give them my name next time I went in which I did and was told there was nothing in the system regarding a refund on the missing meal. Didn't bother to check just asked me politely what did I want to order. Like I said very nonchalant.
I hope you will take this email seriously, and as I have said I do not want free this and that. I would appreciate you passing this email on to the manager of the Stone Hill restaurant and tell him he needs to start paying attention to the food they are handing out at the take away counter and the staff working there, because they don't care, and have had no qualms in showing it.

This past Tuesday, 6/20/16, I went to Chili's at 5363 Sheridan St., in Hollywood, FL. as I've been doing at least 5 times a week for the past 3 or 4 years. The quality of the food & the service is consistently well above average. I sit at the bar and have a pleasant rapport with Chris, Phil & Scott. When the 4:00 relief bartender came on, the professionalism went down the toilet. The first thing he did was to change all of the channels on all of the televisions without consulting any of your patrons if we were watching something in particular.
Then when I asked him "What is this **" in almost a kidding way. At that point, he became extremely abusive using much fouler language towards me, almost to the point to where I felt he didn't need my business. I tip the other bartenders quite nicely for their attentiveness and professionalism, as they can attest to. I plan on coming back for the food and overall pleasant experiences, but I think this other individual needs some further training in public relations, suffice to say I probably will have a bitter taste in my mouth towards this 4th server, if I choose to eat there when he's on duty.
I make it a point to pay compliments about exemplary service to store managers at several eateries when I feel that I was made to feel special, and I have done so at your establishment on several occasions. This time I had to speak my feelings to a very courteous manager who said she would speak to the young man. The customer may not always be right, but they should always be treated with respect & politeness. If you happen to follow-up on this review, especially with the three other bartenders they will tell you that I've always minded my own business nor have I ever complained about anything, except taking away the complimentary chips.
Finally when I asked to pay my bill his response was "It's not my job". I guess Phil had control of the register, but he certainly could have been more polite in both responses to me. An attitude adjustment is definitely warranted, I don't feel he should be terminated at this time. Just change his attitude towards your guests. I plan on going back to your establishment, hoping the situation has been addressed and rectified. See you soon.

They are all young teenagers and did not care about the customer or how they left you waiting on your food and to not get it right. The food taste was not the same! I did bring home my leftovers and warmed it up, and went to take bite out of my food, and a good piece of plastic came out of my food. I did take a picture and saved it. Then I tried contacting the corporation. No one to talk to, but to send a brief message online. So I did. I really don't think I will hear back from them. I am more mad at the way he went about to talk to a customer and his actions than I am about the plastic in my food. My husband and I visited Chili's restaurant in Jacksonville NC on Mother's Day May 8th, 2016. I had never eaten at Chili's prior to that day. Mother's day was particularly difficult for my husband and I this year as we just lost our daughter a few months ago. She passed away in February. I was opposed to the idea of going out however, my husband suggested Chili's and I accepted. I wish I had never gone if I knew how horrible the experience was going to be. Upon arrival we were seated pretty quickly and greeted by a quirky, funny waitress named Victoria. She was the only positive thing about this trip. She took our orders for appetizers and dinner. We ordered the Triple Threat (egg rolls, cheese bites and wings). When the appetizer arrived at our table it was completely wrong. I notified the waitress that it was wrong. The second time our appetizer arrived it was wrong as well.
The final time our appetizer arrived at the table it was cold, which I understood with the wait staff having to take it back in the kitchen so many times. I told the waitress it was cold. She responded "Oh" and made a joke about the kitchen staff not being able to read. She then disappeared into the kitchen for quite a while. When she returned she asked "Did my manager come speak with you" we had not seen any manager, nor had anyone come and talked with us so we just shrugged it off. About 10 minutes later the manager arrived with a side of cheddar bites.
When our dinner arrived to the table, and we began to eat, I noticed after about 2 bites into my food that my broccoli which I was being charged extra for was badly limp and had unsightly black and brown marks, which looked like a cross between mold and burns. I had no idea what it was. I informed the waitress, who responded "Oh that's the way it comes out of the bag. They must have overcooked it. I then asked to see the manager. His interaction with us was even worse.
After explaining my concerns, he snidely remarked "Oh, well it looks burned, it comes out of the bag that way. If you want, I can get some more broccoli!" I refused more broccoli and sent the plate back to the kitchen. He stalked away from the table with a look of nonchalance on his face like he could care less about the service or quality of food. My husband, who had only taken a bite to eat, asked for to go trays so we could leave and he could finish his meal at home. After these incidents we had a very hard time getting a waiter, they began to awkwardly ignore us and the whole atmosphere changed and we began to feel uncomfortable.
I must say that I have never and hope I never receive that level of service again. My husband and I both work in customer service, so we know about delighting our customers, we handle complaints every day and consider ourselves lucky and blessed to be the change and make a difference in a person's life. You never know the circumstance of a person's life or what a person is going through on a daily basis. Sometimes a smile, a loving gesture or a nice hot meal can make a person day. All we wanted was to enjoy our Mother's day after the pain and grief we just endured this year. Sadly, that was not the case. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received.
Furthermore, my husband works 72 hours per week at one job and almost 40 on another. Money is hard enough to come by and we do not appreciate wasting it on bad service and poor quality food. We do not deserve being ignored because we encountered a problem with our meals. People work hard enough for their money and if they pay for a service, that service should be rendered to them. I will say that after this experiment, I will never step foot inside any Chili's restaurant anywhere ever again, nor will I patronize/support this business anymore.

Chili's has really stepped up the level of food and service. We have discovered an amazing menu with exciting and excellent appetizers, meals, and drinks. If you haven't had the experience lately, we would highly recommend the trip. See you there!

Since December 28, 2015, I moved to town and became a frequent visitor to the local Chili's. On Friday night, February 26, 2016. I was insulted and berated by the bartender Sindy (A weekend part-time bartender) after only being there no longer than half hour. I only asked why would she pour me a beer without asking what brand I drank. I asked because the first beer that I drank was not my brand, I just kept my mouth shut. When I questioned her why she would not ask me what brand I drink, she proceeded yelling at me for 15 minutes to leave and go to Outback or Applebee's.
I cashed out my tab and left for good. I am a local businessman who has 41 employees which equates to over 212 employee and family members. I have attached a note to everyone of my employees paycheck not to visit your local Chili's in our small town of Rome. I have already submitted a review on your corporate site but have not heard from anybody so I thought I would try one ditch effort to see if anyone cared. Derrick the regular bartender can attest to what happen. Signed, a lost customer! I will not return until Sindy is rightfully terminated for inappropriate behavior! Since visiting other establishment in town, I have found out that she had been terminated from other locations (Applebee's and the Brewhouse) for the same inappropriate behavior!

I have visited Chili's on Kendall Drive & 122 many times throughout the years. This past Sunday visit has been the biggest disappointment. We understand weekends are hectic & there's a wait, but from waiting an hour to waiting 1 1/2 this became unreasonable. We saw more than 8-10 tables empty, still with things on it, some cleaned up & still no seating. We finally were seated & our waitress took 15 min to come & just give us water, then the table was sticky so we asked kindly if we can get something to wipe it better & she rolled her eyes, walked away without saying at least, "sure sir I will be right back".
Our waitress looked like a train hit her, hair completely out of place & not customer service orientated, her uniform a bit disorganized. She asked what we wanted, not "what can I get you" or "what do you have in mind" nor did she suggest anything, just plain (what do you want). Then over 30 min went by, 1 plate came out, then 12 min later the children's food came out cold & then 5 min after that, mine came out with unripe veggies, avocado should not be served as hard as a rock & remaining food very untasty (bland). Waitress never really came back to see if we needed something else nor did she ask if we needed a box or if we even wanted desert. She was in all the employee drama but her own tables. 90% of that staff that day all had drama, bickering, we heard all that was going on between several of them. We truly don't need to know who's mad @ who & who's not fair or who didn't get what tables, etc...
Prudence & class is to be presented everywhere you go & even us as consumers should behave. I believe no matter how hard your day has gone, you are providing a service & no one needs to see how your day went or be treated like we don't matter as consumers. Very unpleasant visit!!! That whole Chili's needs a serious class of customer service & less drama on the floor & possibly food awareness.

I have consulted an attorney already, he is ready to file. I suggested 3 days to clear this up, your choice. On Dec. 5th at app. 4:30 I came into Chilis, Broad st. to have dinner at bar and watch football... There was a sceaming child, could not even hear game. I turned and said to try and hold it down which started a now cursing verbal exchange. The bartender Reilly was not there to take orders, she was instead talking to the child, her niece, in some hope of stopping the child.
It was 15 minutes I waited to be served. During this time her mother got up and came towards me. In front of witnesses I asked her not to approach me, let it go. She came ahead, began to lecture me in my chair, placed a hand on me, assault. Finally Reilly at assistant manager's order went back behind bar, but not before accusing of it was my fault. I was still in my chair waiting... James assistant manager tells me now both parties to stop. I already had and never left my chair. Barney ** is a witness... we are both long time customers.
During the game on tv, Reilly only overheard with her back to me, and again I have a witness... I would put two in his head... She did not hear I was metaphically speaking of the safety who missed a play for a touchdown. She assumed it meant her family, and told James. James then comes to me and says I would not say that... I was infuriated by now... I carried no weapon, witnesses, not even a pocket knife... I finished my dinner, left an angry note explaining I had no weapon and he and she were wrong and left with my friend saying I would not be back nor any of my business friend. I have started and run 3 businesses, I also have 4 attorneys in my family.
This evening I sat quietly in Chilis on the Avenue here. The assistant manager said his manager refused me service... I asked him to identify his manager, he would not, but was polite. It humiliated me in front of many people. I have no record, don't drink alcohol, or do drugs, I have been a member of many business associations to shorten this defamation of character, and discrimination as the others were not banned or disciplined... I have witnesses, and written paper to attorney of also employees smoking pot on left side of building, witnesses to deals for pot outside in parking lot, known dealers walking thru, etc.
I have two disabilities. 3 years ago, one of the cooks placed a non digestable food in my potatoes. My abdomen swole and became infected. I have copies and signed by physician of what was removed. I paid for it at the time because I had several friends who worked there and did not want anyone fired. But if we meet in court, then people will be subpoened... There is more my attorney won't let me say. I just wanted to be left alone but I won't be treated this way.
My attorney wishes to file tomorrow, but I wrote Jeff and James for everyone's sake I will wait 3 days to hear this has all stopped... You are smart people, I have fought and won cases all the up to middle district of Dept. of Justice... Your people will be subpoenaed and will be crucified and the attorney will run up the total and take a third... I just want to live in peace. I have money, but I am not going to be humiliated in this fashion... I truly hope we are clear... Not looking to harm anyone but we have a great deal more we will come with... Remove the ban, everyone have xmas... If not you know it's just a process, attorneys dont care and people will get hurt. I am not seeking that but I have fought many battles in my life and I won't back down. 3 days is fair.

The first thing I immediately noticed was that there wasn't a hostess greeting customers at the door, not the first time.
My husband and I waited...and waited...and waited to be seated until finally we decided to sit ourselves at one of the booths surrounding the bar for faster service. Again, we waited. My husband walked over to the bartender, named JOEL, to politely request a server. My husband and I were at Chili's Restaurant, King of Prussia early tonight for dinner. Food and service great. But when we got our bill, imagine our shock to find a charge of $1.99 for "games." We have been to Chili's restaurants plenty of times and have used the little kiosk at the table at least 3-4 times. NEVER told there was a charge for playing the fun games (we love Trivia) while waiting for food to come. NEVER charged before, I think (now I don't know).
We were NEVER informed of a charge on screen prior to starting Trivia game. We told our waiter Derek (awesome) and he apologized several times. He had already taken this issue to management before and will do so again tonight. Derek offered that what makes this issue worse is that some Chili's establishments charge, some don't; some table kiosks inform you prior to start of any games, some do not!!!! (FUNNY, JUST WHAT THE LAWSUIT CLAIMS.) If we hadn't already paid our bill he would have removed it. It's not the $1.99 price tag (sort of), but it's that they attach a charge to your bill without your knowledge or consent, and it's illegal, deceptive and just plain WRONG!!
According to the lawsuit, they "trick people into thinking the games are free by failing to disclose that a 99-cent "entertainment fee" will be added to their bill if they use the tablet to play games." We found this to be true tonight. Only the charge is now more than double, $1.99 and are calling it a "games" fee. According to other reviews I've read, this has been going on for years now, and YOU CAN EVEN GET CHARGED THIS FEE FOR NOT EVEN USING THE SERVICE OR EVEN HAVING A DEVICE AT YOUR TABLE. Beware of the $2 charge whenever you go to Chili's ANYWHERE in the world and touch the table kiosk!
UPDATE: I wrote to Chili's via Facebook and Twitter tonight (10/14/2015). My twitter account response from Chili's tonight was not helpful. According to them, all charges are agreed to and approved beforehand. This is clearly not true or they wouldn't be getting sued. Chili's Management and Waitstaff are aware their guests are not aware of these entertainment policies/charges and years later "entertainment" prices have since doubled, but nothing has been done about the deceptive practices. Buyer Beware....

I know they have a Gluten-free menu but it is wrong.
It says corn tortillas are ok, but they now have wheat flour in them. This is in TEXAS. Corn Tortillas are made on corn masa, not corn and wheat. The chips should be corn only or come with a warning. Definitely not a place to bring your kids: We tried to eat at Riverdale's Chili in Riverdale Utah 84405. We waited for an hour to get our food. Me and my son, 12 years old went to eat here, we sat down, and some skinny latino waiter guy came to take our order. We asked him if we could get it the way it was on the menu, and he asked, "How's that?" So we showed him a picture of the item on the menu. He said the reason why the cooks do that is so the beans don't get the food soggy. So we said, "We like the way the cooks do it and were ok with that." Then, we waited for an entire hour, and it wasn't that busy yet, three tables came in and all got their food before us. And this new guy came over with our waiter and took the plates out of our waiter's hands and set them down on our table, and asked; "Is everything ok with that?" I said, "Um no, you can tell the cook next time to not pour the bean juice all over my tacos and the rest of my food."
We were starving by this time. He yelled at me, "That's the way it comes on the menu! If you don't like it, you can leave!" He then asked my son, "How is yours?" My son's plate was full of black bean juice too, not a quarter plate of it, but at least a half plate full and ruined it. He told my son, "If you both don't like it then you both can leave" as he yelled and pointed to the door saying "I will walk both you out." HIS FACE WAS YELLING THE ENTIRE TIME IN MINE, over my food plate and my sons, while yelling. I was shocked this guy was doing this to me and my son. I wanted to punch him in the face for being so freaking weird about it and aggressive but we both said fine and walked towards the door. The guy must have been a shift manager.
Rather than that and go to jail, we went to Applebees and now have enjoyed ourselves with the likes of better company and more peaceful atmosphere. Besides, last time we went to another Chili's in Utah they had too many flies, it was gross. Getting back to the story: we spoke with Heather and another guy over the phone, who said she was too busy to come to the phone. Later we went back and reported it to Heather, she said she would call me back after taking my phone number and never did. We never heard back since. I told her I want an apology to my son and me for his behavior for complaining about pouring the bean juice in our plates to soak our food to make a point and that the waiter should of never instigated something that was nothing with the cook there. They have some serious personal issues there.

We were also charged an extra $15 for the toppings. I will spread the word to never go to another Chili's!

Many tables were full of dirty dishes from previous guest! Had to wait for table to be cleaned by the hostess, which still didn't clean up the stickiness! Even the menu, I had to be clean myself to be able to look at! The window blinds were full of splashes of food!! We had ordered our drinks and an appetizer otherwise we wouldn't of stayed there at all... We went and ate at a different place!! The same holds true for the restroom...

I attempted to eat at Chili's with my fiance and the food took 48 minutes to get (I timed it) and after telling the server, Terri the manager came to the table and insisted that I was lying about the time. I had actually used a timer on my phone that I started when I placed the order. It read 48 minutes when I got the food and stopped the timer. She completely called us liars and said that it was impossible that our food took that long. Never eat at Chili's...they could go out of business, and that would be great so that someone good could move into the store. I also found out that the management came from Steak and Ale...if that doesn't sound alarms, I don't know what could.

I have been going to Chili's in Carrollton off of Trinity and Josey for about 15 years now. I've never been one to complain or even write a review. On the evening of June 18, 2015, I had the worst experience of my life. I felt offended, threatened and so frightened for my life. Towards the end of my dinner with my significant other and my younger sister. My boyfriend simply asked the "manager" **, if she could explain our bill since we were being charged for the replacement of the meal that had a hair. My boyfriend explained we didn't want a free meal, simply wanted an explanation. **, snatched the bill out of my boyfriend's hand, rolled her eyes, sighed very loud and said, "fine I will take it of the bill". The waiters were polite enough to come to our table and ask if everything was ok.
As we explained the situation to them, ** walked to a customer behind us at the bar and whispered something to him, she walked away and a few seconds later the same customer ** spoke to comes over to our table and asks my boyfriend, "well did you ** eat the salmon?" My boyfriend asked him who was he talking to? The customer proceeded to say, "you **!" My boyfriend got up to face him and I stood in the middle of them to stop them from fighting. I said the same thing he said to my boyfriend so that he could get a taste of his own medicine. I know it was wrong of my part but I was so upset. ** was beyond unprofessional while instigating a fight between customers, creating a very unsafe environment. Also, she kept walking back and forth by our table, one time bumping into the waitress that was speaking to us about the problem. ** was very aggressive also when I called that same night to obtain another manager's name.

They bring two empty plates that was nasty so my boyfriend told the manager.. He go get two clean plates. My food came before his so I was eating my mash then blood just started running out my steak and I had got it med-well.. That's the second problem already. So the waitress keep asking him if his food came out yet he keep saying no. So it finally came out.. so I get the manager again and tell him about my steak. He take it back to fix me a whole new plate. Don't forget blood is all on my plate and on my mash.. Now I got to eat out his plate until mine's get back. This don't make no sense at all. If we go to this million dollars business.. and spend our hard working money on good food I want good customer service and good food. Is that wrong to want??
So before they came back with my food I just asked to make it to go cause I really was disappointed and embarrassed that I had to eat out his plate when I ordered me something to eat. So corporate need to do something about this ASAP and their score was a 93 but the last inspection was 11-4-2014, then before that they had a score of a 77 on 4-1-2014. Wowww. My wife and I sat down at our local Chili's, it had been a long time since we had been there. One of the new Ziosk "Pay and Go" tablets was sitting there on the table, so I started fiddling with it while waiting for our waitress. Our waitress actually went to another table that was seated after we were. She got their drinks going. We didn't know who was suppose to help us, so after several minutes of wait-staff passing us by, we finally stopped someone (it wasn't her table, but she still helped us anyway). She was pleasant and took our drink/appetizer order.
Then a few more minutes passed (I'd say 10 or 15 minutes total) our actual waitress stepped up with napkin wrapped silverware in hand; she laid them on the table, to which we told her that we had asked someone else for help, because we had sat there for several minutes without so much as a "I'll be with you in just a second". She let out a "humph!" grabbed the silver and stomped off, the rest of the time she was a bystander (We didn't care, we just wanted service).
I decided to play Bejeweled, I was under the impression it was a $0.99 "one-time" charge to use the tablet during our visit. As I recall, I made no "in-app" purchase requests on the tablet. When we were finished I used the Ziosk to pay our bill and everything seemed fine. After we arrived home we noticed an "extra" charge of $11.20 (aside from our food bill), this was for about 5 games encompassing approx 20 to 30 minutes of play? Just a wee bit expensive on the entertainment side, approx $20/hour.

I refused again, he explained it was corporate policy. I refused again and said "I can't take your order without your phone number." I said "I don't think you understand, I am going to take my business elsewhere." and he said "ok." So I thanked him and left. This happened Friday the 22nd when my boyfriend, son, and I were having dinner with his parents at the Chili's in Calallen, TX. My family was done eating their food while I still had my head down picking at mine, when suddenly my one-year-old is screaming and there's about 8 plates crashing and breaking on the floor. I immediately got up to run past my boyfriend to grab my baby and told the girl she needed to get her manager. I am only 5'3" and noticed I was much taller than the server. The manager arrived moments later, and honestly should have came much faster. We complained about ill-trained staff. For 1) A server should never carry food over anyone's head, especially children. 2) Why would they have such a small girl carry such a great amount of food? For I have seen girls have bigger, taller people carry out the food for them. 3) She did not by any means handle the situation well.
The manager said sorry a few times, but I do not feel we were taken care of. I refused to pay for anything. And left with my son covered in food, as well as all of my family's feet covered with food as well. My son was fine, some minor marks, all after a long ER trip. Today is now the 27th, and after missing a call from Liberty Mutual (Chili's Bar and Grill insurance company) on the 25th, I have called and left messages 4 different times. All calls have yet to be returned. And the man who initially called me has yet to make a second attempt. This has turned into a really big mess. And there has yet to be anything done. My family, nor extended family plan to never eat at any Chili's again. Very poor customer care.
