If you are a veteran, you want to work with Jerry and the VU team. The checklists are very easy to go through as the website has everything spelled out. All closing costs are sent for your review. You can also get your utilities set up right at the website. This was my first time buying a home and I had my coworkers talking through their horror stories through underwriting. Matt was always straight to the point and would ask for everything he needed and it has to be on time. When he asked me, I would follow up and the communication flowed smoothly which made the process great.

This is my first home! I thought that I would never have the opportunity to become a homeowner! My own home where I can retire and make it into my oasis, my own paradise! I worked hard to get to this point in my life and to have Veterans United to help and support me through this process has been amazing! I cry each time I hold my keys in my hand knowing that they are the keys to my dream! Thank you! I am even prouder to be a United States Veteran!

When I first started looking for a home, I looked at Veterans United in another state. There, they pulled me around left and right, so I put my search on hold. This is the second time I've worked with Veterans United and Hunter. Hunter made it easy to transfer veterans' benefits to new purchase. If Hunter was out of office, his back up would call to answer any questions. Sam, loan coordinator, walked through everything needed to finish ahead of closing date, which resulted in closing a week early this time. Love VU portal and dashboard! Portal made the exchange of information easy. Uploading documents is safe and secure in the portal. Many documents were signed inside the portal which made closing go quickly, as opposed sitting and signing a lot of loan documents at the closing table. It has been two great experiences!

Amazing informative team who have helped me secure a home loan even when I never thought it be possible. I had a lot going on in my life in the last few years almost dying with brain abscesses, a bitter long divorce, and custody issues with my ex. I found that after the divorce the home I lived in was awarded to my ex wife. With little money, and not sure if I would ever have the chance of home ownership again the folks at Veterans United talked me through the process and gave me a shot at being a homeowner again. Great experience working with actual people we were able to get to know. We felt like family working with Veteran’s United, and that’s a hard thing to find these days. We had a unique situation that took some extra effort on everyone’s part. I was anxious to see how they would handle it and they did a fantastic job. The entire process with VA was great. Lots of moving parts but the app made it very simple to ensure you understood what step we were at.

Wow where to begin. My Wife and I never thought we would get to this point of our lives. When my wife and I married never in our wildest dreams did we think we would own a home. We would sit down every week and struggle with what bill to pay, how much could we spend on groceries for the month. I can't explain the sheer fear we had together day in and day out wonder if we would own a home. We first reached out to VU in August of 2022, our situation dictated we couldn't start until January 2023. They contacted us the 1st week of January, we had a price range in mind, they were able to get us pre-approved within a couple hours, we found our home and 5 weeks later it was a done deal. They made the process very easy for us, I don't see how it could have gone better.

Jake was AMAZING. We were so nervous to buy our first home. We had absolutely no idea what all home buying consist of besides good credit and money but Jake took his time explaining the process and was available to answer any questions we had. Veteran United Home Loans and Mike ** did an amazing job. This is my second time purchasing a home and the first time using the VA Homeloan benefits. Veterans United Home Loans were under fire around the Scott AFB area and due to some gaslighting I had Mike investigated. Mike ** continued to be the most professional and manly man I have come across in a long time. Mike passed every test by himself and then his company followed suit. I would use them and I recommend everyone use them. I was told by Fulford homes, Mike was the only cause for my many misfortunes on moving day. This was not true. This is my third home that I've purchased and I distinctly remember back in 2004 when I bought my first home I was active duty military and sought a VA loan for my initial purchase. I remember the experience with the bank offering the loan at the time was overwhelming and seemed as if I had to jump through a massive amount of hoops so I went with a conventional loan instead.
