Before starting my application, I read a lot of reviews and I came to the conclusion that everyone's situation is different and I should just try. I am glad I did. I applied and the same day I received a call from my loan officer Brian. I explained my situation, told him I knew it would be tough but he stated they could get it done and get me into my home. My application to closing took 2 months and in between that time frame, Brian and Merideth of my home loan team were incredible. They made me feel like I was the only customer and my loan was their number 1 priority. They answered so many questions, responded quickly and always kept things on track.

Attention all vets! This should be your only call when you need to buy a home. From the first phone call to closing day, these folks did virtually everything. They put us in contact with a vetted realtor that knows his stuff and even researched the area and emailed us a list with local utility, cable/satellite and internet providers. We just had to pick a house to buy.

I have used Veterans United four times now with purchasing a home or refinancing and the process was quick and simple. If you are a veteran, or active duty and are in need of a home, do yourself a favor, call and ask for Aimee **. She will greet you with an kind voice and treat you like family. We highly recommend Veterans United. They made the entire process easy. They literally walk you through each step. Even with things like getting your utilities turned on at your new home or getting your mail forwarded. I really liked how everything was located on their portal where you can see where you are at in the process complete with a to-do list. All documents can be uploaded and signed online which really makes things convenient.

Our home-building journey started with Veterans United over 18 months ago. My wife and I had never built before and it wasn't clear to us exactly how to get a VA home loan for this. Shortly after applying, Hunter reached out and explained how to do this. We went through 2 different banks; one for the lot loan and one for the construction loan. In dealing with the other lenders, the contrast between the service we received from Hunter was profound. With the interest rates being so low, the other lenders would speak like they were reading disclaimers at the end of a commercial (very fast) and weren't interested in speaking for more than 5 minutes. Whenever speaking with Hunter, he took the time to ensure we understood everything and never rushed to get us off the phone.
