I have no words to describe how happy and satisfied I am with the services offered by TransferWise, which I have been using for 14 months. My wife is in Europe for a long sabbatical, and every month I send her US dollars to support her. The operation has been working perfectly and on time every single time. First great feature, TransferWise offer immediate information on the exchange rate at that moment, and locks it in, so I know exactly how much my wife will get, and I can communicate it to her... until I found out that Transferwise sends emails both to the sender and the recipients, so that reduces even more my work!! And then tells me exactly what is my savings compared to have to go through bank fees, which I had to do before. Also, when I went to Europe myself, I could wire FROM Europe emergency founds with the same easiness with which I did it from my desk. All and all, a great experience with a great company.

Why spend unnecessary time and money at the bank when you can simply transfer money internationally from your phone, tablet or computer in less than a minute. TransferWise make it seemingly easy and simple. Wouldn't have it any other way!

After completing my first transaction using the iPhone app, everything is saved and is pretty much a 1 button press to make the same transaction. As an Expat living in the US and transferring my pension on a monthly basis, I am so glad I can watch the transfer exchange rate rise (or fall) and lock into a good deal with the minimal of transaction fees (compared to the Big banks and their extortionate commissions and fees). I have already recommended TransferWise to my other expat friends.

TransferWise is a fast inexpensive way to send money to our son in Spain. Once you have set up an account it is very easy, especially now that the limits for amount sent per year have become greater.

TransferWise has provided an essential and economical international transfer service to me for over two years. TransferWise's service is essential to me, because my Federal Credit Union does not make international transfers. I regularly (monthly, or more often) transfer approximately $2,000 to Indonesia. The service has been fast and efficient; using it is just as easy as making an on-line debit card purchase. Online help has always been available to assist (I have rarely needed it). TransferWise provides me the current mid-market rate, something no bank will do. And the fee (currently 1.5% for Indonesia) is very fair and economical. A similar transfer through a large bank would easily cost four times more (I have researched this), and I would not receive the fair, mid-market exchange rate I receive from TransferWise. I highly recommend TransferWise for providing a very fair and easy-to-use service to the public.

My every experience with TransferWise has been excellent. Even when my receiver provided me all the wrong details for sending money, TransferWise was always available to help. They save me a whole lot of money on international transfers, plus they're super nice, and after more than year with them, I'm a huge fan of what they're doing. Love the service they provide.

Outstanding service. I have used TransferWise to send money to Thailand on at least ten separate occasions. The pricing is awesome - transfers are done at actual published rates, and the fees are excellent. My most recent transfer was for $900. The transfer was performed at the current exchange rate and my fee was approximately $10. The speed of transfer was equally amazing (sometimes as fast as 1 day)! Lastly, the user interface is simple and easy. I have not seen any company that can compete with TransferWise on price or convenience.

I love using TransferWise. I send money back home on a monthly basis and I find that this app is so easy and cheap to use. I was using banks before TransferWise and I got charged $50 for each transfer no matter how much it was.

I send money to a foreign country each month. The exchange rate is always the market rate, not the bank rate which save me money, plus the amount TransferWise charges me is a third of what my bank charges me for the transfer. Transfer arrives in a timely manner, as well... so all in all, I'm very happy with the service.

Fastest, easiest, safest way to transfer money. I have been using TransferWise for one year and have been completely satisfied. Sometimes the money arrives in less than 24 hrs unheard of for an overseas transfer and the price is way lower than a bank could ever dream of charging???

I usually make about 3 international transfers per month and if I did them through my bank (one of the big 4), it would cost me $40 dollars plus they would sell me the foreign currency using a conversion rate 5% higher than the market. By using TransferWise I've saved loads of money! Highly recommended.

Other websites out there do not have the same exceptional rates and service that TransferWise provides. The interface is easy to use and linking your bank account is also streamlined. Furthermore, the transfer to the recipient's bank account is fast and secure. Would definitely recommend using this service over others out there.

Since I found TransferWise, I have moved away from competitors (I used to use Western Union in the past) and have not looked back! Transferwise is VERY transparent, you know exactly what the fees are and the estimated time to get the transfer done. They are also a truly web company, customer support by email works great - when they needed more docs for identification, we could work by email and get things resolved quickly without delaying the transfer. I have been using TransferWise constantly over the past 2 years, always the best rate and always on time. Only issues I’ve ever had relate to the banks funding the transfer in the US, they must be worried about all the business they’re losing!

RBC is our Canadian bank which offers "free" transfers of US dollars to our Canadian account. However, their exchange rate is such that it costs us hundreds of dollars to complete a transfer. With TransferWise, we save most of that cost which is worth the extra couple of days it takes to complete the transfer. The site is easy to use and efficient. We've recommended them to friends.

I have been using TransferWise for just more than a year to transfer money to my parents and also to my education loan account in India. This has been the most hassle-free experience I have had with any such app this far. An initial 10-minute set-up and you're good to go! The rates are very reasonable and I usually compare current rates using another app before I do the transfer and transferwise has always come on top as the winner. I also find the "repeat this transfer" options very useful. The single transaction charges could be a slightly better as I would have expected lower fees for higher amounts transferred. However considering the higher daily exchange rates they offer, the fees are not bad at all. In most instances the transfer is completed within 24 hours.

I have a global business and have successfully and cheaply moved money/paid for services very quickly back and forth across the Atlantic. This service beats PayPal hands down in terms of cost and speed and ease of movement. I am looking forward to being able to bill/receive payments in the US from my US clients... here I'm still dependent upon PP.

The website is easy to navigate and extremely user-friendly. The money is tracked for you every day through update e-mails and between euros to dollars, it never takes more than 3 days to transfer. Exchange rate is better than going through your bank and fees are much lower. Extremely convenient for expats who have bank accounts in two countries due to work/life events.

Dealing with banks always felt like roulette. I often got a surprise when conversions and fees were worked out and the transaction was cleared. In general my experience of banks is feeling like a burden to them, even though they are taking a cut off my money, it's like they were reluctant. It's so much more pleasant to have a dedicated service that understands and is concerned only with this one type of transaction that am attempting to do. Bank personnel, whether in the bank or over the phone also never felt completely reliable with the information they were offering.

If you don't need an "INSTANT" money transfer with WU, or a bank wire, then saving money with Transferwise is the best option. Plus customer service is great. I will continue to use this service for all my money transfer needs.

The exchange rates are very good compared to banks, but there is a transfer limit applied to Brazil that prevents me from using the service more often. I already sent feedback about that to TransferWise, which replied to me saying that transfer limits apply because of regulations and their bank policies in Brazil. Aside from that, my transfers always happened within reasonable time and I believe I paid a fair fee for their service.

TransferWise is safe, easy and cheap. Before I started using it, I used banks that were outrageously expensive (charging $35.00 to transfer $16.00 to Australia). TransferWise Charges very low fees, like $3.00 dólares for amounts lower than $100.00. I have to send money overseas every month to help support my family and the money arrives there within a day or two, in the local currency already. I don't need to search for safe agencies anymore. TransferWise is my favorite money transferring company! Give it a try!

I have been using TransferWise since January 2015 for both my business and personal international payments. Their application process is straightforward and easy to complete online. They offer superior service at very reasonable rates. Now I only use my bank for wires to countries not currently served by TransferWise. My bank provides 4 "free" wires a month to me but the exchange rates, even without a service fee, are still considerably more expensive than using TransferWise.

TransferWise offers excellent, cheap and fast money transfer capabilities to individuals like me. I was able to transfer money from the USA to France on several occasions without fuss and with less commission cost than through my bank. Only limitation is related to your state of residence, SC in my case, which may not allow TransferWise to make international transfers in certain foreign currencies.

My Tour Operator agency requires me to cash funds in Euro currency as I operate with tours in Italy. I am based in the US and while I receive Euros transferred in US$ to my account, I have to pay my suppliers in Euro currency. TransferWise is so much cheaper than my bank either with exchange rates or transfer costs. I am thrilled that it exists!

I used to use Moneygram and WesternUnion to send money internationally. I was a fool. TransferWise charges way less than those other two. It is not instantaneous, so you need to plan ahead. But if you do you will be happy you did. You'll be saving some money on the long run.

I've transferred funds from USD to EUR between bank accounts three times now. Each time has been easy and fast, and at a very fair cost. I appreciate that TransferWise is a "modern" way of transferring between currencies, it makes things much easier than the "old" ways. ATM withdrawals in a different currency are easy, but typically the banks "hide" a significant FX fee (like 3%) in the FX rate. To me that is not transparent. But, TransferWise is transparent, and that is fair. Thank you TransferWise.

TransferWise worked well. I was a little skeptical at first, when one of my service providers in Hong Kong asked me to pay him via Transferwise. It takes a little longer for the cash to transfer from one party to another, across international boundaries, but the cost savings and simplicity are worth the extra time.

I love TransferWise. I often send money to my mother in Romania and the exchange rate is always great and accurate, the fee I pay is around $3 and very affordable compared to all other products, the money are transferred safely and fast straight into her bank account. Usually my mom will receive the money as fast as one day later. My favorite part is the fact that I can estimate the amount I want to send and because the exchange rate is accurate, sending whatever amount I calculated does in fact suffice. I have recommended TransferWise to anyone I know.

I send money to Korea every one or two months and have been using TransferWise since December 2016. Before that I used XE Trade; my last transfer was in November 2016. In terms of costs and transfer speed TransferWise is far superior. XE Trade would take anywhere from 4 to 7 days to get the money from my account to my relatives account in Korea. And they charge a flat rate, $22, plus they shave a portion off the official exchange rate, which is their standard practice.

I have to send money back to the UK to pay off my student loans. Both the website and app take a bit of time to set up, but now it is easy to transfer money back there whenever I want. My research also suggests it is one of the cheapest ways to transfer, giving a guaranteed transfer rate at the time I click the button. 100% recommend this website to anyone else in a similar situation to me.

Beats the heck out using my bank. Much less expensive and easier (once your account with TransferWise is set up). I just really wish I could send USD also. If I could do all my wires this way, it would be awesome.

Being British it makes it easier to transfer money back home on so many levels. 1) Cheaper than doing it via the banks. Saves me at least $40 minimum per transaction. 2) Quicker than the banks. Normally done within 1 business day and no longer than 2. 3) Had no issues with receiving my money. The amount shown is what you get and the exchange rates are laid out clearly.

I have been using TransferWise for more than a year, I can confidently say it’s the best and easiest money transfer I have ever used, the low transfer rate fee and the super fast service in most of my transactions, sometimes the transferred amount gets to the destination bank account in less than 10 hours! I have used TransferWise quite a number of times, and am very happy with the service and exchange rate they provide. I am most impressed by how transparent they are with the exchange rate that is offered. Banks would usually give an estimate but always stray away on actual transfer.

I've used TransferWise four times in the past year to send money to my daughter in Turkey and have nothing but praise for the service. Their costs are well documented for each individual transfer and save a lot of money compared to traditional bank to bank transfers across border lines. I personally appreciate their competent telephone support for delicate transfers where amounts need to arrive to the "cent". Great service!

I've been transferring small amounts from USA to Indonesia for years. TransferWise is definitely the best service. Their exchange rate is tops, even after factoring in all charges. TW is easy to use online. TW is *MUCH* cheaper than WU or MG. Only downside: TW isn't immediate. But then money goes directly into the recipient's bank account, whereas with WU and MG recipient has to make a trip to their office and stand in line.

I have used Western Union, Bank of America and a couple of other services to make wire transfers from the USA to the UK. TransferWise has them beat hands down! TransferWise is faster, cheaper and easier than any other service I have used. They have been dependable and solid. I frequently use TransferWise to the exclusion of any other money transfer service.

To the date, I used TransferWise about 10 times. In two cases I had problems. Once, it took about 3 weeks until the money arrive my bank account on U.S.. The teams didn't seem very aware about where it was, but eventually, it worked. The other time I got issues, my money got held for about 10 days, because my incomes should be assessed (it is a problem because of Brazilian regulation, and TW team helped to fix it, but it could have been very faster). Anyway, I'm still a customer because their fares are fair enough.

The most important thing about TransferWise is that you always get a GREAT exchange rate. In fact you get the exact middle market rate at the time you place your order (By contrast banks and other online sites will charge you one or two percent - often buried in the exchange rate.). You do have to pay a fee but it is modest and far less than the hidden fee that you might pay if you get a lousy exchange rate. Aside from that, TransferWise is easy to use and the money gets transferred quickly.

The best thing about TransferWise is that they offer great exchange rate. I usually check few places before making a transfer and my experience says TW always offer the best rate. I have tried couple places that say 3 days delivery but does not keep their promise. I never had cases with TW where money wasn't delivered on time. The rates at Transferwise are excellent but not to be outshined by the excellent customer service. When I first enrolled and attempted to do a transfer, there was a problem with registering the bank (Chase). The customer specialist did all the required steps to make it painless for me and waived a fee associated with the transaction. I've had another experience with a transfer that had not appeared on the receiving end and received several customer service calls and it was all sorted out with the initial problem coming from the receiving bank.

Before TransferWise came along, I always wondered how, in an increasingly global economy, how it was that sending a small sum of money from the USA to Europe could be so absurdly difficult and expensive – with bank costs often exceeding the purchase price of the book. TransferWise changed all this. For a low fee, my funds are transferred to the seller's bank account in a matter of days. I'll never go back to the old way. TransferWise is so much better – and it's even gotten faster than when I first started using it.

What I like about TransferWise is that it's extremely simple. It's the fastest way of transferring money I've ever tried (EU->US in 2-3 days max) and also the cheapest one, no intermediary bank fees, real market exchange rate and very low fees compare to would you would pay using a regular bank (which charges both transaction fees and applies a bad exchange rate). I've contacted support a couple times and they've always solved my problem very quickly, no wait times and I've never contacted them again for the same problem.

Works very well and reasonable prices to transfer money from one currency to currency. For legal reasons you do have to enter quite a bit of identification the first time but the interface is clear and second transfers can be done very quickly. Oddly, you cannot transfer dollars to dollars even between different countries.

I'm a Canadian living in the US. I have a need to transfer money back and forth between family members for birthdays and other things. TransferWise is the best. The rates charged are a 1/4 what the Royal Bank charges me! And knowing it may take 3-4 days to complete, I just plan accordingly.

My daughter attends university in France. Although we have accounts with the same bank in the US and France, it is still much quicker and easier to use TransferWise instead of our normal bank account to send money to her in France.
