When I signed up, Lili Banking was one of the first things I saw. I was looking to build and establish my credit, and Lili has a lot of great qualities. I've been loving them ever since. They're easy to deal with and I like them. I can go anywhere I want to take money off and the app is very accessible. When I started getting deposits that come on time, it gave me confidence that Lili was the right choice. I'd tell others to sign up with them because they're a really good bank.

I'm trying to build a business, and Lili gave me a better option as far as my banking needs. I read them up through Dun & Bradstreet, and their step-by-step process makes it better for the blue-collar working person. I'm working with the state to try to be able to get contracts but I need certain equipment to make it efficient and right to get the contract to do the work. I've been struggling for about five years, looking to build so I can get funding to purchase a few trucks and some equipment. Lili worked very well at checking out, making sure they ain't fraud and getting me my money, and that I could build business credit and personal credit. I had a couple issues but they called right away and got it straightened out as fast as they could. Their website could be a little bit more helpful though.

I was starting a business and Lili was free. Since I was starting out, I didn’t want any service fees. It doesn’t have any unless I sign up for the higher tiers but I like that if I want to, I can upgrade and they will put a portion of the money in the savings accounts for taxes. The experience is not bad, though I wish it didn't cost me money to load money into the account. I go to CBS and they want $6 to load the account. I value having a business bank account and anyone considering Lili should look at the benefits and see if they align with their goals.

Lili's great, except they don't have Zelle. I started a company with Wyoming LLC and Lili's one of the options they suggest. I liked everything they got and the platform they had. It's just most of the payments I have to make are Zelle, and not having Zelle is a real pain.

A couple months ago, I started my own LLC, and starting it, I needed my own business checking account. I initially tried to go with U.S. Bank, but their onboarding process is horrendous. The second bank that I found was Lili all just by merely Google searching. I did a little investigation, and I decided to go with them. I've had no technical issues. I've had no deposit issues. I've had absolutely no issues with Lili. One of the benefits of having it is my deposits come two days early. Customer service is 5 out of 5. Now, the online tools, based off the personal bank accounts I've had and the business accounts that other people have told me about, I was comparing, if they get charged for these other extensions inside their bank, and it's included with the bank. So, that is the only thing that I have an issue with.

I wanted to try something new and went with Lili Banking which I had came across online. Managing our company's finances using Lili has been a lot smoother. I use the credit, and I keep track of all my business expenses all in one portal. I like that. Then if I make a purchase, it asks me what the purchase is for, so I could categorize everything in the same system. It sends an email and I can communicate through the app as well.

My father-in-law has a small business, and when I was starting a small business, he recommended Lili. Lili was extremely convenient, just in terms of what I was able to do with it. Right now, I am a sole proprietor, so I haven't needed it for payroll. The one thing I've liked is the invoicing that I’m able to do. Then I also appreciated the ability to just prepare some of my tax documents for the last couple of years. That was really nice as well. It's just super nice to be able to deposit checks using the app and camera. And just always have it in my pocket, where I can just double-check that I've got whatever funding I need, or to approve whatever purchases. The app is very easy to use.
I feel safe with them. I have one criticism, though. I was trying to add a business partner and give my business partner access to the account, and it's been such a frustrating experience. And to this day, he still doesn't have access to what he would need with Lili. And that's come to a point where I'm actually trying to consider something else. So, it was perfect as a sole proprietor, like for one person. But as soon as I tried to add one more person, it just ended up not being a good fit. And their customer service has not been helpful.

I like the accessibility to load the bank from all those many locations and I also like their website.

I like it. It’s easy to do. It's not complicated. It's not using some terminology confusing people a lot of times. My favorite feature is the ability to transfer to another account, or to give out my account number to be able to do transfers. My experience with Lili from 1 to 10 is over 10.

When I bank with Lili, I feel the difference. I was able to secure a credit card for my business. Though I put money down for it. It wasn’t like that for the big bank. Lili is a good platform to bank with, either with business or non-business. They're very versatile. They’re gonna support you all the way. Also, it's very accessible. As you put money into your bank account, you can access your money anytime, any day. You can go to ATM and withdraw your money if you want to without any interruption. Because sometimes, if you wanna use some banks, sometimes the server is gonna be off or the internet won't work. So, in case of Lili, it's not like that. If you put money there, you can withdraw out of it.
Lili is a good fintech bank to bank with. They support you personally and business-wise also. With Lili, you can go far. Also, Lili doesn't charge a maintenance fee like the other banks. Lili also has their own APR, which the amount you put in the bank, you can still get the amount back in term of the increment. They have good customer service too.

I have a few bank accounts, and I'm just trying out Lili. I knew about it from an online referral. The experience has been okay in the two months I’ve been using the online banking. There are some things that are good, but a couple of times, it’s been difficult to get issues with the credit card transactions resolved. I've got one dispute for an unauthorized charge that's 40-some days old that hasn't been resolved, which is a lot longer than the regular banks take. The instructions regarding how the secured credit card operates are deficient. I had a situation where I paid off the secured business card before the payment due date, and typically, that would serve as your payment on most cards. But Lili wanted another payment a couple of days later. So, I just closed the account. It was frustrating.

I'm really grateful for Lili's service. I tried to get an account through Wells Fargo for my business and at the time, I had an issue with ChexSystems. So, with Lili being a little bit more relaxed, I was able to get an account and get business rolling, which ended up taking care of the ChexSystems issue. I haven't had much of an opportunity to explore all of the services that are offered in my specific plan, but every time I spend money on materials, it's automatically categorized, which is nice. As of now, I've been using them for the mobile deposit of checks and there's a hold, as expected, but I haven't had any issue to speak of using the service.
It's been very easy to do business with Lili and I like the more of a relaxed protocol when it comes to who they're accepting in terms of using an account. There's a daily limit to deposit, which is relatively low, especially for the sort of business I'm doing. Oftentimes, I'm getting payments above the 10,000 mark, and you have to specifically request to have those payments deposited if it's over that limit. Other than that, it's always been easy to access customer service and their price is pretty fair.

I heard about Lili online, through some research. At the time, I chose Lili because it was online, and I've heard really great things about it. The price is decent too. I got a checking account, and Lili was really great at separating what kind of receipts have popped up on the account whenever my business used the account. However, I had been trying to close that account, but the business still has $2 in there, because the business has a registered agent address, and it was giving me an issue with that. I wanted to use the registered agent address, but it wouldn't let me. I'm still in the process of trying to close that account if I'm not able to use the registered agent address.
I emailed customer service twice, then I called Lili to let them know. I also sent the lease for the registered agent that I have, and I still wasn't able to get through to use the address for the account. Lili is a great bank, but it's been a little difficult for my business because I'm not able to use the registered agent on the account. I have to change the business address if I am going to continue to use the Lili account. If they can get it to where we can use the registered agent account, even when we send a lease, that would be great.

Lili is a good service for new businesses that are starting out that are having issues trying to get business banking through traditional banks. I like the fact that they verify you and it's not like anybody can just go in there and open account. They check with the Secretary of the State and the state revenue to see if you are a licensed business. I found them when I was online doing some banking research. They gave me the option that I needed for my business, as far as getting a business banking account set up, and since I opened an account with them, things have been great.
I like the fact that they give me the option with the tax bucket when we make our deposits, that they take out the funds for our taxes and put it in a separate account. Also, I use their service for checking and savings. They also offer to register to help you get business credit established through Dun & Bradstreet. The price for their service is fair and their online tools are very good. Aside from that, anytime I ever needed to call them and ask some questions, they were always there to answer them. And if they didn't get it right then and there, they returned my call within a 24-hour period.

I saw Lili through my registered agent. It was one of the preferred banks. I like that it was integrated into the application, and it was very convenient. It looked like a good application. I'm happy with the interface thus far. Overall, it's a good tool. I did like the fact that they have a feature where you can add and categorize expenses, charges, and on deposits. That's definitely a great feature. That definitely helps. That way, I don't have to worry about doing it later.
The biggest challenge I had was doing the deposits, getting that done. I just realized how I needed to do it to make it instant. Which was basically just go ahead and take cash and load it on directly. Because the cash deposits directly loaded on their site at their local vendor, like Plaid, the process takes three or four days for us to get the funds. But if I go to a vendor, like a grocery store, like a Walmart, and take the necessary cash and just load it on the card directly, then it'll be there in 15 minutes. Once we figured that out, that was good to go. I'm also very happy with the AI billing. It's the one that does all of the tagging and things of that nature.

I like Lili. It was good that I could open an account remotely with them. We're a virtual business so opening virtually was important. I like the functionality of the UI. I can tag and categorize everything, which is good. I could see easily what I spent money on if I tag and categorize it. The recommendation engine on the categorizing is cool too.
However, it's a real pain when it doesn't work. Customer service has been a challenge. They don't get back to me. I have to hound them. I have an open case right now, and I have no idea what the status is ‘cause they're not talking to me. My last email to them was on the 12th of February. I had called the support number. 22 minutes later, after it told me repeatedly the hold time was less than a minute, I told Glen, the rep, that before we got started, they should report that their algorithm on the wait time was broken because it told me less than a minute, but I had been on hold for 22 minutes. He told me there was a long wait ‘cause they were busy. He hung up on me and did not call me back.
I gave the story to the chatbot and asked how do I report the issue without waiting another 22 minutes on hold. It said it would open a ticket for me, which I never heard back from. I sent it to a support person I had been working on with this other issue. Incidentally, I told her my story and mentioned Glen, but she never got back to me either. I had an issue when I was trying to get a business bank card approved. It didn't want to take my Ohio address because it's an agent address. They said I had to have a physical address. I put in my home address in California and the interface accepted it. However, they said I was not eligible for the BusinessBuild Card ‘cause I'm in California. If I'm not eligible for it, then why are they charging me for the service that I can't use?
I ended up changing the address to a state that accepts a BusinessBuild Card, and I ended up getting my card. But the issue is the rep said they'd reset it, then I could reapply. When I applied, the interface encouraged me to put in a big amount so I could build my credit faster. I put in the max (and this is my fault for not reading the fine print), but I did not realize it was a secured loan, and they were gonna tie up my funds. The rep cleared it and before I had a chance to reapply with a lower amount, my application went through for 50 grand. Now, I'm afraid to use the card because they returned my money to me.
The process is when you apply, they secure your funds before you get approved. But I had them reverse it because my application was getting denied. They approved the account application but didn't secure the funds again so I'm in a catch-22. I'm trying to lower it, but I can't. The interface is telling me they're experiencing a temporary technical issue and to try again shortly. Weeks later, it still doesn't work. I sent it to my rep and she told me she had to tell her back-office people to do it. She said that on January 28th but I have not heard from her since.
The chatbot is helpful, for the most part. I engaged with a vendor from Ukraine, and I can't pay them because that's not one of the companies that I can do a wire transfer to. I asked the chatbot, and it told me I could put in a request. Also, in the interface, it said other countries you can put in a request to. It said they would take it and they would get back to me, but it hasn't. I don't even know if they're doing anything ‘cause I have no communication. They had a couple of ways for me to request, but when will somebody get back to me? They told me transfer the money to another bank who can do that, that I should open up another bank account with another bank, so I can transfer money from them into the other account. If I had to do that, why would I need Lili?

Lili is awesome. It's easy to work, and my experience is going well so far. The only thing that I may have had some difficulties with is I had to upload proofs of business. I lost my letter from Arvest. When I first opened up an account, I didn't know that I needed it. I looked over that I needed to keep the account going. I was looking for an online bank that would be good. I saw a whole bunch of them, and then Lili stuck out to me. I liked the color pattern they were using at the time. It was black and yellow. So, I tried them out, and I loved it.
The only thing that’s bad about Lili is that you can't get paper checks for your account. But you can pretty much do everything else. So, at the time, that's when I had to leave Lili about two years ago, because there was a thing I was doing that I really needed to write paper checks for. I went to Arvest. But I don't like some of these bigger banks. They’re stupid. So, I recently came back to Lili about three months ago.
Lili just does everything. That's the thing I like about Lili: almost everything for Lili is automated. Where bigger banks, I gotta actually really look at stuff and do more of the accounting. The people I talked to were polite, went out of their way to help, and answered my questions. So, I'm really satisfied with them and I have no complaints. They have a bunch of other tools I haven't done yet, like invoicing, but if you want something that is much more integrated into your business, you should try Lili because it's kind of a combination of QuickBooks or some accounting tools, as well as traditional banking. I also bank with a brick-and-mortar and you just don't get all that stuff from them.

My husband did some research and he found Lili when he was looking for some really good fintech banks for small businesses. The biggest thing for us was the FDIC limits that you don't get at standard banks. Also, the matching on the savings account was higher than standard banks as well. We have three different business accounts with Lili and working with them has been easy. We do the checking, savings, and the expense reports.
But I don't do any invoicing because their invoicing isn't easy. I can use QuickBooks and other platforms where it's much easier to process an invoice. Lili's platform also doesn't always give you everything you need and I hate that you can't always get through a human. You got to keep chatting with people. I want the invoice to be done right and I want it to have my logo on it. That was really hard to get done. So, I just gave up and went back to QuickBooks. I wanted to do everything at Lili's but not if it's going to take me forever to figure it out. And I'm a tech person. So, that makes zero sense if I'm actually in tech.
Other than that, my experience with Lili has been pretty seamless. Everything except for the invoicing is pretty easy to understand, and there's a lot of flexibility in their platform. I like the embedded expense report piece which is very helpful when it's time to do taxes. I also like the fact that I don't have to go into multiple systems and organize my financials to where they need to be clear for my CPA to understand. They kind of built that into their whole bank statement, which was pretty great for us, because we don't get that at standard banks either. The only thing I will complain about is when you have to dispute something, it takes 60 to 90 days which is outrageous for me to get my money back when I have full-blown proof on a dispute. It's the reason why I keep a physical bank because that was my worst experience.

I was having a hard time with regular banks. A lot of banks were more based off of your credit score. If you didn't have a decent credit score, you couldn't open up a bank account. But Lili didn't care about the credit score. They just say, “Hey, if you need an account, you need an account.” At that time, I was in a situation where I seriously needed an account because I'm running a business, and I needed a business banking account. I was having a hard time getting one. Lili is pretty decent. But there could be a little bit better customer service. Like when you have questions, they should have somebody that you can actually reach out to.

It's easy to sign-up and everything is tracked and organized, like taxes. You can put it in their app where it automatically saves for taxes. It's really a good bank to use for a new company. It helps you not be behind on your taxes or overspend. You get to add all your receipts. My wife and I get rooms, and the app is also perfect for that. Every time we buy a room, it tracks it.
We love Lili Bank. If they had a branch, it'd be even lovelier. But the mobile site is perfect. We have a trucking company, and when we send the driver out, they have to have a card for fuel ‘cause we don't have fuel cards. With the Lili app, we can turn it on and off. That's the good thing about it. It's not like it's in jeopardy. But one of the drivers didn't return the bank card so we're in the process of replacing the bank card with a different one.

I heard about Lili Banking from the organization that set up my LLC in Wyoming. I would love to have a checkbook, as opposed to doing all my checks from online. I had an issue with a couple of vendors that I tried to pay for some renovation work at one of the houses, and it seems that the checks didn't go through, even though I got a notice that they were mailed. Glitches happen. Also, the invoicing and bill pay are a little bit about confusing. If you do invoice and put an invoice in, and you say you want to send it out via check, it stays in pending status as opposed to, “Check was mailed.” Other than that, it's straightforward.

They recommended Lili, but I am disappointed with the monthly fee since my USAA, Navy Federal, Bank Of America and other banks have waived or reimburse me for fees. I was a LCDR in the Navy and have tons of benefits... Why Lili when my other banks wow me with their customer service and apps? You asked so I thought I would give the feedback. Plus, since my customers will be paying 5-8 k for a 6 month program so I will be seeing money flow soon and not sure I will stay with Lili if nothing changes for my business account.

Sometimes it can be hard to get approved for a traditional business bank account, because banks tend to look for a bit more. So, for the ones who have that problem, I highly recommend Lili Bank. The experience has been great. It has been easy since day one. When I applied, it was an easy application. Also, the app is very easy to use. I like how everything is at the fingertips for me. So, everything is easy to navigate throughout the app. When look at my account from my dashboard, it is also settled to be beginner-friendly. When it's a withdrawal coming from my account, I like that I get a notification first. I also like that the bank also helps build your business credit. While doing that, Lili also reports to Bradstreet and Nav.
When it's time for me to pay my business taxes, the Tax Bucket feature automatically takes out a percentage of every deposit. I love that feature. Even though I haven't used it, I'm also going to love the Schedule C feature. I read up on it. When it's time for me to file my business taxes for next year, that's going to come in handy. When I need to contact customer service, it's quick and easy.
I run a tax preparation business, so sometimes I have those clients that might have to pay for my service upfront. I love how Lili has the invoice feature. That way, I can go ahead and email my clients over their invoice, they pay, it goes through the Stripe platform, and Stripe does what it does, and it's instantly deposited into my account. You should give Lili a try.

It was very easy to establish an account with Lili. Their services were definitely services that I would use, being able to execute wire transfers and payments online. They've got a full range of business services that will come in very handy. Lili is a good bank. The app is very easy. Everything is very transparent. The only challenge that I had was that I established a Lili credit card for my company, and I appropriated $1,000 as the security for it.
Then at the end of the month, it said I had a statement bill that started off to be $56 and some odd change, and then it seems like they have it where whatever the balance is on the day that they're gonna collect a payment, that's the balance that they're going to take out of the checking account. It doesn't seem like they have a stop period. That was confusing for me. So, that was a little unsettling to see how that worked. Now that I know how it works, I will be prepared for it. But there should be a better understanding of how that system works.

I’ve been using Lili as a checking account for my business. Everything is straightforward and easy to use. As far as the application, you just punch your info in, send it out, and then you get a response if it's approved or not, and they get you set up. There wasn't anything too difficult or spectacular about it, but I like the convenience of the online application.
The only thing is it would be good if there was a way to make it a little easier to link it with other bank accounts. I've had to put my own personal funds in the account with getting the business started. When you go through that process to locate the bank and link it and be able to transfer funds, instead of having to wait however long for small deposits and all that to document, it's been difficult finding it on the list. Sometimes, I have to look it up by Sunrise Banks instead of Lili because that's what it will be listed under.
Overall, Lili is a great resource for startup companies, small businesses, and just people starting out and needing a place to start, but also something that can be used for scaling. It's a great resource for those people that may be like myself, intimidated with some of the processes of starting a business and getting accounts set up. It made it easy and straightforward, and either prepares the business owner for continued use with the banking or providing a great resource for first step into larger banking and financial aspects of businesses that are scaling.

I had a very negative experience with Lili bank. At first, basic services worked out ok - simple deposits, using a debit card. I created my account when my business was still a sole proprietorship. As I progressed, I created an S-Corp and called Lili customer support for instructions on how to set up my account to reflect the S-Corp and remove the sole proprietorship. I was instructed that I should keep the same bank account, remove the old business, and add the new business. This was when the saga started. I removed my business name from my checking account, and I was not able to add the S-corp at all. I called customer support multiple times, on different days and different occasions. Most of the time, CS representatives were cordial. However, they could never solve my issue. They always instructed me that they would inform the 'support team' (which I assume is some remove tech team) and that I would hear back via email.
I would receive an email with instructions within 24-48 business hours, and the email response would be completely off base. I held back and forth discussions via email, and often would call customer service to follow up on delayed emails. One time, I told a customer rep that I would not hang up until he provided a firm response or escalated my issue, and he simply hung up on me. Unbelievable. The first email communication I had with support@lilibanking.com was on Feb 26th, and the last communication I had was on March 6th.
To this day, I have not been provided a response or a solution to adding an S-Corp to my bank account. This caused me financial loss, as I was waiting to receive a large customer deposit on March 1st. I gave up on Lili, and ended up opening a business bank account at my local Chase branch instead. I had a delay of almost 1 month in receiving that customer deposit due to Lili's inability to help me navigate this matter. As an entrepreneur, I do not trust Lili with my business banking anymore.

⭐ 1-Star Review for Lili Bank / Sunrise Bank (My Honest Experience). I’ve been in business a long time, and I have never had a banking experience as frustrating as this. I deposited a legitimate $35,000 customer check on Monday, November 17th. The check cleared my customer’s account that same night — they even provided me a copy of the cleared check. Despite that, Lili/Sunrise Bank froze 100% of MY money for more than NINE DAYS, with no explanation, no notice, and absolutely no way to reach a real human being who could fix the issue.
Lili support — zero help. They simply repeated that the funds would not be available until 11/26, even though the check already cleared.
Sunrise Bank — they told me they “can’t access Lili accounts,” even though they are the issuing bank.
The OCC — confirmed the only option is to file a formal complaint because Lili provides no escalation path.
Lili advertises “1–5 business days” for check deposits. Mine was held LONGER than legally reasonable, even after clearing. Meanwhile, I run a real business with real expenses — gas, payroll, materials. Being locked out of my own money for OVER A WEEK is unacceptable for any business banking product.
What makes it worse:No callback.
No explanation.
No attempt to resolve.
No accountability.
No customer service that can actually help.
This experience cost me time, stress, and almost shut down my operations while Lili/Sunrise earned interest on MY funds. If you run a business — especially one that relies on timely payments — avoid Lili at all costs. Once your money is in their system, you have no control and no support if anything goes wrong. I’ve already filed federal complaints and will be moving my business accounts elsewhere.
Bottom line:Lili/Sunrise is not a reliable banking solution for any business that needs access to its own money.

I opened a Lili account because it was marketed as a modern, secure, and reliable online banking option for small business owners. What I actually experienced was the complete opposite — a total failure of customer support, accountability, and basic financial protection. In May 2024, my Lili debit card was stolen, and several unauthorized transactions hit my account. I immediately reported the fraud, filed a police report, and even did my own legwork contacting the merchants directly. Despite all this, Lili and Sunrise Bank denied my dispute, claiming that the responsibility fell on the retailers — not them.
This is a clear violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, which requires banks to protect consumers from unauthorized charges. Lili not only refused to refund my money, but they also locked me out of my account, refused to give me copies of my statements, and delayed communication for weeks at a time. The result? I faced eviction, homelessness, and severe financial hardship — all because my bank refused to take accountability. I paid $20 a month in “banking fees” for services and FDIC coverage that turned out to be worthless.
I’ve since filed complaints with the CFPB, OCC, and now the Federal Reserve Board, as this issue has gone beyond a simple dispute — it’s systemic negligence. Consumers deserve to know the truth about how Lili and Sunrise Bank operate behind the scenes: they shift blame, ignore their legal duties, and abandon customers when it matters most. If you’re considering Lili, don’t do it. Choose a real bank with real customer service and transparent policies. No one should have to go through what I did just to access their own money.

After I did a virtual deposit I heard from them bluntly saying they were closing my account because of too much risk and not depositing the check. Plus, that the decision was final. I made a "same day" payment to a vendor 11 days ago and the money still hasn't been received. 6 phone calls, 3 emails and 2 investigations later and Lili still hasn't completed the payment, making my company look bad.
Lili has also arbitrarily held back my company's funds from checks for up to 14 days without letting me know, causing financial planning issues for my company. Lili initially seemed affordable and easy to use, but if you encounter a problem, it wastes hours of your time. I am currently a Lili bank user and originally decided to open an account due to the ease of doing so online and the lack of bank fees. This was appealing because I use the bank account only for the rare side job I do. For me, these pros do not outweigh the cons. When making deposits, the bank holds funding checks for what I consider to be an excessive amount of time (5 business days or more). This is not just for large amounts, even for a few hundred dollars. I have had several checks that were deposited via the app (the only way to make a deposit) that were rejected.
The explanation given via email is that they could not verify the check. When I asked for clarification from the CSR, they had no details as to why. When I asked to speak to someone who could provide more information, that said that was not possible. I could request a callback. This callback never happened. Instead, I received an email from someone at Lili stating word-for-word what the original CSR said, no additional information. This happened on more than one occasion.
Additionally, it is very difficult to find a customer service phone number anywhere on the app or their website. Finally, when a deposit is actually accepted via Mobile deposit, there is often conflicting notifications as to when the funds will be available. The app will notify you of one day and you could receive an email or text stating a different day. Overall for me, it has been a poor experience using Lili Bank. No alerts no warnings other than, “oops your account Is a little low maybe you should add $10”. Honestly I did get a yellow flag several months back when their mobile app refused to recognize a vendor’s check. When I called customer service they said I should reinstall the app then told me it was my phone. That's funny because my Chime App, and Credit Union app had no problem recognizing the check. I went into to edit, did so, get to next page, my birthday is incorrect. I completely delete the information and start over, still changes my birthday. I tried to correct it several times. It didn't work.
I decide to start completely over with the application, now there's an error with my EIN. There wasn't the first time, the number is correct, but now there's an error & I cannot move forward with the application. The errors must be a blessing because after my frustration with the online application and finding all these negative reviews regarding customer service, I definitely will not be opening an account with Lili.

1. This is supposed to be a "business bank". My business received a check for $22K. There is absolutely no way they can accept this check, either by issuing an exception for mobile banking, mailing it in, or bringing it to a physical location. This is not a large amount of money for a business. I had to open a new account at Bluevine to deposit this check.
2. Customer service was extremely slow to respond -- days.
3. I will be closing this account.

I had nothing but trouble with is so called business account and bank, they blocked my card many times when I needed gasoline and refused to credit my account for unauthorized charge, it takes 2 hours on hold and they cut you off, customer service not in is and can’t help,. I just listed my house with a property manager on Vrbo, it was rented and Vrbo sent $2029 to my account that I gave the property manager for deposit of funds.
Lili sent me an email saying the funds are on hold and can’t release the money without documentation and selfie from me and the property manager and IDs and company info, then when I questioned they sent me Lili will never steal someone’s money or hold your money hostage, real professionals, sounds like a total scam, never had a bank say that. They said they will hold the money for 2 weeks and then return it if I didn’t give the info. I asked for my funds now and they went and returned the funds to Vrbo. Now Vrbo won’t process for a week the payment and I have bills to pay and no funds.

After reading several reviews of Lili.co I tried applying for an account, I got as far as the "Submit EIN Letter" which I don't have and it stopped with no way to move forward. I have sent them 3 email, no response. I tried calling the customer service support number which sends me into an endless loop. Try calling, Press 1 if you don't know your account number. (855) 545-4380 Also, I cannot find any other number for them. Anywhere, all I found were complaints.

Count on nothing being resolved. The service reps all have the same script. I was unable to wire money into my account and it is now over a week and they still can't figure out what's happening. Moreover it's been over 14 days and I haven't received my bank card. Their response?: "Well it's still within the time frame we send it". I told them I wanted to close my account and they refused.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DENIED A CHECK because in quotes "We don't feel that the deposit will be paid". Are you serious?? This might be the most unprofessional, ill advised response I have ever received from an establishment. I am advising everyone I know to stay away that has been considering this company.

Lili froze my account without a phone call to me as I had deposited a check over their limit. ****At first they sent me an email saying the check was approved no problem***, then they decided they needed further documentation. They sent an email and when I didn't read and respond within an hour, they froze the account and it's 4 days later and it's still not resolved. I have no access to my funds and the customer service can only submit requests. This is a horrible company, please use an established bank.

First of all this is the worst company service I’ve ever been involved with they. My account got its first deposit of $2,145. They put it on hold so I called the next day. The customer service guy said he couldn’t do anything about it that it had to be head up the hiigher ups which are not really people. It’s all bogus. Long story short they closed my account and now my money is gone and they can’t tell me where it’s at and won’t talk to me anymore… Now where is my 2,145?

Lili Bank gave me the run around on a charge made on my Lili card which I used to hold a reservation on Booking.com. When I checked out of Yotel I found a charge for the night on my Discover Card which I had left for incidentals. Then later saw a charge made from booking on my lili card. When I disputed the charge at lili bank they told me I would be credited in 10 days. On the 10th day I called lili due to the fact there was no credit and instead of helping me out they closed my account. Now I cannot get my money that was wrongfully charged on the lili card.

Lili offers payroll direct deposit and calls themselves a bank. They are only a shell company for Choice Bank - allowing Choice full use of your funds while offering no support or insurance of your funds. My account was hacked. They immediately denied the claim. They refused to assist me in getting a transaction listing. Customer Service simply hangs up on you when you have a dispute. I finally reached a rep after about 6 calls that gave me a trsx list. But when I filed with their "dispute team" they automatically denied the claim with no investigation at all. They refused to send me required documentation of their investigation/decision.
I canceled my card and got a new one. The fraud continued. Finally I asked them to give me a whole new account number - my only remaining option. The rep told me he would escalate the request. I got an email same day saying they see no sign of fraud, and will not issue a new account number! This is banking on the level of a 3rd world country! THE FDIC AND BBB DID NOTHING TO HELP. JUST SAY NO.

You probably have had good experiences with Lili, but I recently did not. I am a Lili Card user. I found later that Lili was the old Green Dot card. They just rebranded to Lili and are currently marketed as a business debit card. I took the card to keep track of some 1099 work I'm performing. On October 16th, I made a reservation for 1-night with Marriott Courtyard using my Lili Card. I checked in on October 22, 2022. When I checked out on October 23, 2022, I switched cards and used a legit credit card to pay for the room. Marriott stated that it could take up to 5-days for the HOLD to be lifted from my Lili Card. As of this writing - 1) My account does not show the debit by Marriott, 2) My account does not show the credit from Marriott. In sum, over $400 has gone missing from my account, and I can't get a straight answer from Lili. They are experts at giving you the run-around.
After a few calls, they put me on the phone with a confused person. I asked to speak with the supervisor because the confused person refused to follow a debit-credit process from a known and visible debit-credit record. In addition, this gentleman could not explain why I could not see the debit-credit transactions on my online account statement. I've repeatedly asked Lili about this matter to no avail. BEWARE!!! Do not do 4- digit business with Lili! May 2 or 3 digits if you dare. They can't handle it!!
