I won't use this service because customer service does nothing to help you out and ask computer generated security questions that if you don't know the answer they will look your account for wrong answer.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. I had some fraudulent activity on my card from a merchant TXVRY. 7 charges for $50 and 2 charges for $100, back to back. I don't understand why they didn't find that activity suspect. They are telling me that they denied my dispute. I googled the company and they have scammed several people. I had to obtain a lawyer.

After six or seven years. First a Green Dot customer then automatically transitioned to Go2bank customer. They finally closed my account. For no reason. I have been on good terms the whole time. I recently asked for help disputing some charges that I ended up getting refunded without go2bank intervention. They have terrible customer support. I have received replacement debit cards in the past which had to be replaced before I actually received them. I know it sounds crazy, but it's real.
They are the worst financial institution that I am aware of. Everything was find up until a few days ago when I received a suspicious message so I called their support phone number and confirmed the message was legitimate. No explanation. Just closed. After more than six years of maintaining a positive balance. I strongly suggest to avoid the hassle altogether.

I would give this bank zero stars if I could. Scammers love using this bank because it is probably run by scammers. I did not authorize a big purchase from a store I never go to. And to make matters worse, the transaction was made in TEXAS when I live in a state over a thousand miles away. I submitted solid evidence to the dispute team that I did not authorize the charge, and they rejected all my evidence. DO NOT USE THIS BANK because they are difficult to contact, they do not actually stand up for you, and you can't actually add funds when using it at an ATM. They are difficult to contact and will sometimes hang up from their end.

THIS COMPANY’S DEBIT CARD IS JUST A MONEY GRAB.
2. $2.95 to purchase Go2Bank Card.
3. $20 deposited on to Card at Supermarket during purchase.
4. $9.65 used to purchase store item.
5. $5.35 to purchase store items.
6. Any other purchase is declined. Go2Bank stole the Remainder of $20, which is $5.00.
I lost a total of $11.45 the first two days of having the card. I was going to use it to transfer my paycheck. When I opened a chat and requested the account be closed, they claim I have to call. No one answers the call. They are trying to keep me so they can use my SS# to run scams.

I used this card for my Social Security check and I can’t get my money. It went to an old Go2Bank card and I no long have that card. I told them to send the funds back to Social Security office but they said they couldn’t. I am without my money for this month so far. I have sent a copy of my ID and proof of address and they always say they didn’t receive it even though I sent the documents three times. This is terrible because I haven’t paid my bills for this month!

DO NOT USE THIS "BANK". I made a purchase through UberEats which was refunded the same night because the order was wrong. The original transaction of $61.78 sat pending for 10 days, on the tenth day the pending charge disappeared but the money wasn't added back to my balance. On my transaction history, there is no charge for $61.78 from anyone.
I contacted them through the chat option and he said "the charge posted for $61.79" but I can't see ANY transactions for it on my ledger. I told him if you do the math based on my ledger it shows that I'm short the $61.78. He was adamant that it shows as a posted transaction, with no explanation as to why it's not in my history. I sent a screenshot through that chat of my ledger and he disconnected the chat. As far as the "refund" goes, UberEats told me they didn't finalize the transaction and it should have just fallen off and been returned to me. Go2Bank claims the charge went through. Despite the proof I have from UberEats.

Another scam, this bank and their credit card called Go2Bank. It's a scam and I do not know why they are allowed to work in the USA. I purchased the CC and they needed social Security # to activate it. I DON'T. I called the number on the card and requested a refund. I was told to provide a photo of the debit card, photo of the purchase and cash loading receipt. I instantly provided this information by email, after 3 times calling their customer service, they gave me another Claim #, told that I would receive a refund by mail within 10 days weeks. Received another email with different claim # that the refund is mailed. Today, I called and they said the refund was processed and should arrived in 10 days. They could not answer me, if the refund was mailed or is in process, and they could not answer the email I received with different claim number. Their PO BOX is in West Chester, OH and call center in India. Do not do business with this bank!

This is a SCAM, someone had made a withdrawal while I was sleeping and I had my card with me, don't know how this happened and I did a dispute the very same morning when I received the notification and they denied my claim saying that I authorized this transaction, which I didn't. If I did it, then I did but I didn't do this. You guys are a rip off and to have innocent people like myself, this is totally unfair.

I have been with GO2bank for close to a year now. I basically use it for small transactions online because it's convenient, plus I wanted to try online banking vs the usual brick and mortar banking to weigh the pros and cons. Go2bank has very poor customer service and are hard to communicate with if you only speak English. I have issues with the amount of time it takes to receive refunds or make deposits because they keep the in "pending" mode where those funds are unaccessible until they do their job to clear them. I have had issues with how rude their customer support is and they are known to hang up on you or cut off your online chat.
I have read other reviews and was surprised to see the countless number of bad reviews they have. Part of Go2bank's problem is that nobody complains about them and their shady practices to the proper authorities or follow through with their complaints. File complaints with the FTC and if everyone did this Go2bank would be no more. Many of these complaints I have read about them appear to be criminal.

They charge monthly fees. It's the biggest scam in the online banking industry. I "owe" you guys money, because I refuse to put more than $150 in that account, because somehow $400 went missing. Every time I look it's another notice about an overdraft fee. I DON'T USE THE CARD. HOW CAN IT BE OVERDRAFT!?!? They have zero perks. They're basically charging you to hold your money.

Go2bank got my address wrong on the account, now they locked my account and I'm responsible for and can't get into my account or log out and receive my funds that I worked hard for Go2bank is a fraud.

The worst experience of my life. Go2bank prevented me from being able to make the purchase of a lifetime. It was a very nice vehicle for a very kind price. Probably the kind of deal I'll never find again. They did not allow me to pull more than $3,000 a month out of my account in cash making it impossible for me to purchase this vehicle. Therefore I lost the deal. We had to go with the vehicle that I do not even care for. It would be very hard to find a vehicle for only $3000 that's worth buying. Since when did people use banks that don't allow them to use their own money when they want to use it in the amount they want to use.
That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever been part of in my life. I thought banks were there to keep your money safe for you and allow you to use it as you need it. I did not know that they were in charge of how much of it you could use and when you could use it. My mistake but it's a mistake I'll never make again. If you're thinking about signing up with Go2bank I would think again. In fact I would run with smoke coming off my shoes. I wish I would have read the fine print. That's exactly what they told me I should have done and they were right anyways, bottom line, Go2bank sucks. Go somewhere else.

These people are scammers. I have been waiting on a refund check for a locked acct on their behalf for over 2 months. Contacted them today and they said they sent out an email to me to verify who I am.. I never received an email..They just keep people's money. You have been warned. Do not do business with these people.

Go2Bank is the worse, I called them because for two days in a row, I tried taking money out of my account and the ATM kept reading "Contact your Financial Institution." I did not understand why when I know I had more than enough money in this account. So after trying the second day while on my lunch break, and I got the same message, I went back to work and called Go2bank asking them why wasn't I able to get money out, so the rep who hardly spoke any english check and said, "Ma'am you're not able to get money out because you exceeded your daily amount" ($500). I said, "How, when I am calling you because it won't allow me to take any money out?"
She went on to tell me that within two day there were several hundreds of dollars, all ATM transactions taken from my account, I almost passed out when she told me that, she asked me if I had my card and I told her yes, it's in my hand. I told her that I did not make any ATM transactions and a lot of them were made in a town I did not live in or near where I live. She told me that she first canceled the card and ordered me a new card with new number, she transferred me over to the dispute department, they sent me a form to fill out and told me to write a letter disputing the charges, I did and sent it back to them immediately, they told me that it could take up to 10 days for the investigation, well once I sent the documents back, the very next day.
2-3 days later, I received an email saying that they investigated and came to the conclusion that I authorized these charges and that they were not going to give me my money back, I was devastated. Someone violated what was mine over $1000 within 2 days and they blamed me. I called back to have them reopen the case and they told me that this was their final decision, and I continued telling them that this is wrong and I need to speak to someone higher, the rep told me that her supervisor is going to tell me the same thing. I told her, "Well I still want to speak to your supervisor," she told me that the supervisor would call me within 24hrs.
It's been several days and no one has called me. So I called them back and received the same treatment and told the same thing, she told me that they do not have a direct line to the investigation team. So basically they want me to accept that fact that someone stole money from me and they are not willing to help me, who has been a loyal customer up until this happened, I am going to continue to fight this. I have a police report and plan to seek legal action against this company GO2Bank. I am also going to terminate my business with them, they are not for their customers and I hope they go out of business. I don't recommend anyone to use this bank, they don't stand up for their customers. They just lost a good customer. PLEASE BEWARE OF GO2BANK!!!!

I read social media about this account and decided to try it out first. It said if you sign on it gives you a $1000 sign on bonus which never happen so I came to this site and wow so glad I never used the account yet and I will be cutting up my card. Thank everyone for the information.

GO2bank is a scam. Do not use them. Today I get an email saying my account is being closed due to unusual activity. So when I call and speak to someone I asked what unusual activity. I don’t have nothing unusual on my account. I asked the agent to review my transactions. The agent denied to so I was like at this point I’m lost and confused. Then I was told it was because of cash loads. I’m like where because there is no transaction showing cash loads. I get direct deposit. I kept explaining that and the agent would not listen to me. I am so glad that I changed my direct deposit information because after reading all the reviews they just get people's money I see and hold it. Something needs to be done about this business. They need to be closed. Rest assured I’m filing a complaint to the fraud department and I’m getting a lawyer involved. They need to be stopped.

I have been with GO2bank for about 2 years. I called to dispute a transaction on my secured credit card and because of lack of good communication skills on their end the lady is thinking I'm telling her that unauthorized transactions are being made on my card. Against my will and without my permission and I clearly explained to her that she wasn't understanding me right. And I told her she has no permission to lock my card. She did anyways. I have nothing against anybody but if you're messing with someone else's finances. You should be fluent in all languages that might call you.
I filed a complaint with Consumer Protection, the Federal Reserve Agency sent them a letter and that's it. I wouldn't make a payment on the card 'cause they wouldn't unlock it and they charged me 25 extra dollars on my own money. I put the 200 in the card. It's my money. It's been over 2 months now. And I been on the phone for 10 hrs with GO2bank in that time. I've been hung up on 3 times and my card is still locked. I want my 200 dollars back and I want nothing to do with GO2bank. And want to warn other consumers that their customer service is the worst. It has been a horrible experience and they won't make it right.
I called them as requested per email to resolve. Once again I had to talk to several different people. And was put on hold and then hung up on by a supervisor. For the fourth time. And it wasn't because I was rude. It's because they can't work the phones right. GO2bank I want my original investment of 200 dollars back. You have only messed my credit up. Not fixed it. Your service is fraudulent.

I am 61 years old, on survivors/ disability benefits, Go2bank permanently locked my account, and kept the money I had left to live in for the months directly after I paid all of my bills. (Thank goodness I was able to get that done!) It wasn't much, $238, but for me it was a lot! I have went all month with no money to live on at all and they will not give it back. I did what they said, I called SAA and asked them to send them a letter stating they wanted the money returned and they were at a loss on what to do for me because they cannot do that, once it leaves there office it's out of their hands, they no longer have any control over it, Go2bank has to know that. I went online and read reviews and was shocked and appalled at how many people they have done this to.
Review after review after review said they took my money, locked my account, kept my money, every one I read until I was sick to my stomach, I stopped reading them. My question is, who do I turn them in to for fraud? Does anyone know? They need to stop, they should not be getting away with this, there were other people in those reviews just like me, retired, living in a fixed income, some lost much more than I did. I would like to put a stop to this, please help. Thank you.

I work and decided to use them because they pay you a Tuesday instead. What a mistake. These people empty out my account and left me $88 unbelievable from $2,000. Wow. No one has answers. Just there is a investigation. I'm getting on all platforms to warn individuals. This is insane. I cant! In this time of low pay living from pay check to pay check this is out of control. The people sound like they are coop up in a room of 100 and better I hear children laughing. What kind of world are living in. These times are too Hard for this!!!!

When I opened my account it was great. Since then a year later I can't get anybody to answer phones. This has happened all the time. They decline purchases and don't let me follow up. Bad customer service.

I was suppose to get refunds bank from different places and they said I had to wait till the 9th. Now the 9th is came and gone they are saying something else. The other day I was positive 28 my Uber payments supposed to came in and a refund but when I called my balance was negative 14 which I didn't use my card. I been locked out of my online account cause my email was hacked and I changed my phone number and they wouldn't change it cause they didn't want me to see what they was doing. This places is awful and big thieves.

Go2Bank and affiliates (i.e. Green Dot Bank) are out of country fraudulent entities with an address set up in Ohio. They allowed a Social Security check to be deposited to a fraudulent account and are not cooperating for a refund. I have talked with agents, supervisors, corporate representatives, they all sound to be from India. Almost a dozen representatives and 9 hours later, I get different answers and taskings to try to get money back. They now say that SSA has to send them something in writing, and SSA says they don't do that. So I guess I'm out $2600. I filed a police report. The detective claims some online banks are frequently set up for scamming purposes. This appears to be one of them.
Be advised, my calls to customer service have averaged 15-60 minutes just for someone to answer. When calling their only listed number, it's interesting they have an option to "press 2, if you think you've been a victim of ID theft". Also, they do not have email. You can only write or call. Probably to prevent tracing their IP addresses. Don't trust their advertising. FDIC insured...I'm not so sure about that. I highly suggest sticking to a local bank or credit union to handle your money! At least you know they are actually in this country.

Go2Bank is a thieving organization that aims to lock accounts for no reason in order to hold their money forever. I have filed complaints with the FDIC and Federal Reserve but they won't give me my money back. It's only $700. No explanations just that it is suspicious activity. Avoid this organization at all costs. Use Cashapp or Venmo.

Go2Bank stole from me.. I had some money refunded and they say they never received it. I have proof they did because the other company sent me proof to my email. Please do not bank with them.. You will be sorry you did. I lost a total of 200 dollars because of these people. They don't care about their customers' feelings and they are just there to steal your money. I called 3 times and each time the representative was no help to me.

Do not buy gift cards from their in app store. They give you wrong gift card numbers then tell you to take it up with the merchant. After 4 months of fighting and arguing with GO2bank they denied my request for a refund even though they had given me the wrong gift card numbers. This was even verified by the merchant itself.. Go2 Bank refused a three-way call between myself the merchant and how. The customer service is highly unprofessional. They constantly talk over you and I have been hung up on repeatedly. They lie. This is the worst bank I have ever experienced. They straight up stole from me. I reported them to the FTC and the FDIC.

They suck as a company and they lie a lot. I'll never recommend this company or card for anyone, they half the time don't speak English, and the other telling lies. Find another card! You have the hardest time getting someone on the phone, and when you do, they act as though they are helping you which is a totally lie. I don't need them to respond to this matter, just correct your problems.

Bank won't dispute my money. They told me have company refund my money. They are not refund my money. Banks dispute money. The bank is fine. Haven't had any issues. They won't dispute. I want my money. I'm tired. Lawyer company stash money. Won't refund money.

Worst banking experience ever. Last night my card was froze even though I said the charge was not fraud. They told me I would have to wait for 7 to 10 days but could draw money off my account by going to Walmart with a code made through their phone app. I then tried to log in but wouldn't accept my password. I changed it three times and every time I did, despite the fact that I I copied and pasted the same password I had set in the process, the password would be reset. Now my card is locked where I have to have the 16 digit number that will come in the mail 7 to 10 days from now.
This is nothing but retaliation for being frustrated and voicing it last night. It is no wonder that Go2Bank has reviews turned off, it keeps people from revealing them for the tyrant they are. Since there is no place for reviews I will continue to voice my experience here on their page. Worst customer journey I have ever experienced. My opinion is DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I run my business with that card, in 10 days I'll be out of business.

Go2bank is the worst! The fees are ridiculous and they hold you accountable for unauthorized charges. They also charge you fees for in network ATM withdrawals. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT. DON'T DO IT!

Go2Bank digital banking app is by far the leader in the industry. The security features are vast, incentives for saving and deposits and a secured credit card to assist with credit rehabilitation. Definitely the new GOAT.

Every day or other day I'm always dealing with my card being locked! Even though I use my card at the same hotel every day. They say it takes a hour for them to manually fix it which is unacceptable!!! I wait a hour not fixed! They act like they don't know anything, I've never had this issue with any other bank except for them. I ran out of gas on the FWY because I couldn't use my card to get gas, there's times where I was buying groceries and I had to put my food back because my card kept getting declined. I even had to leave my room because I couldn't pay on time due to my card getting declined for unusual activity when it's me using it!!! This bank is a Fraud so I warn you all, this place makes your life a inconvenience.

Green Dot made me switch to Go2 bank. Transferred 20 dollars to go2. My address is a P.O. Box. I’ve tried every way to get my 20 dollars back. I’ve been lied to over and over. They have the most incompetent help ever . Spoke with supervisors there impossible. They're holding my 20 dollars hostage because I have a P.O. box . Us mail does not come to my home address. Therefore I can’t get my money. The worst unethical company ever. My advise don’t ever use their card. If you have a P.O. Box for an address your screwed. They are rude and a complete rip off. Their customer service is a bad joke. I can’t say enough BAD things about GO2Bank. They are the worst at everything known to man!!!!

Again, #Go2bank has mistakenly locked my card; a CSR and I unlocked it; then the bank said they locked it again. I informed them I needed it for an emergency. Lucho refused to unlock it. Waiting for team to manually unlock it. Bank endangers customers and won't answer phone. People need their debit cards.

I recently bought a Go2bank prepaid card. I put 485 dollars in the card and when I went to go activate it they said I couldn’t. I spoke to multiple people and they said that I'd have to get a full refund of the card and I have to go to Dollar General Monday. I went there Monday and they said the card was used and all the money was taken out of the card. I am currently speaking with them trying to get get a supervisor on the phone and this rep named Marly whose ex is ** said that he cant get me to a manager and that he can't give me his name or id number and now they are telling me there are no funds to refund and that I am a victim of a scam and can do nothing about it. I am very disappointed and angry.

I was switched to Go2Bank from Green Dot and told my account would be closed if I did not. I have a friend who has never been switched over and still has Green Dot. He was never required to switch. I used Green Dot's bill payer service, but Go2Bank does not have it according to my account, although they say they do. Customer service doesn't know why?!?
