Very upset. Ok so my bank account was already in the negative and I thought that Albert don’t take money out your bank account is in the negative. Well they did anyway and they won’t refund the charge on my bank account. Only the overdraft fee. How is that going to help?

Since NOTHING is being done about Albert account scamming us, I'm convinced it is a gov't scam. If it is someone from the projects they would be in jail by now. This people behind this app are stealing our money from our accounts and with no regret, hesitation or being held accountable. These are NOT criminals in hiding. This is a popular app that floats around social media as well as tv commercials. WHO IS BEHIND ALBERT!!! It suggested I share the app, asked to go to my contacts, normally an app allows you to choose... NOPE.... NOT "ALBERT." It said, "congrats you sent 59 invites." Now 59 of my friends and family will go through this scam!!. And "Albert" actually sounds like a name that only a foreigner will make up. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!! WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON!! 🤬

I tried Albert but I been trying to remove Albert from my main banking. At first there was no fees then it got to be 16.99 monthly auto withdrawals to Albert savings even when turned off. I'm just barley getting my Albert account to zero balance and can now close Albert.

Extremely hard to cancel, I followed the instructions saying I had to bring Albert balances to $0 first. After I THOUGHT I did that, I see an NSF from my bank for -$51 from Albert for way more fees than I was trying to avoid in the first place. I couldn't afford the "genius" subscription and I cancelled that. STILL Extremely difficult to cancel Albert and I now have negative dollars. Awful app

If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately I can't. I literally just had opened the account and set everything up. Out of nowhere they text me telling me that my account was suspended indefinitely but due to security reasons, they can't tell me the reason why! And no way to appeal their decision.

AFTER NOT USING ALBERT FOR MONTHS THEY RANDOMLY PULLED 324 DOLLARS FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AND CLEANED ME OUT. IT'S A SCAM. Today I had to speak with my bank because Albert attempted to take more money and sent a text asking me to relink my bank account.

If I could I would give them no stars. Horrible company. I cancelled my account a month ago but they are still charging me and when I tried to get it cancelled again… they are giving me the run around. I had to sign a paper at my bank to stop them from taking my money. What a joke!

Do not use the Albert App. The Albert App is dishonest, not trustworthy once they get your banking information. I cancelled my subscription on the app and emailed them and cancelled again through customer support and they are still debiting my account. They’re trying to do a ACH transaction through my savings account. My banking institution is removing the transaction fees because they see where Albert is doing the transaction out of spite (I saved my emails and I took a screenshot of my cancellation through the App) because I cancelled my subscription. Albert has messed it up for other financial loan apps because they can’t be trusted.

I have been trying to cancel this app for months. They keep charging me on my bank account so it seems like the only way to stop it is if I change my whole banking account which is so freaking frustrating, I really think they should be reported and sued.

I regret not reading reviews before downloading this app. Every time I encounter a problem and contact customer service, their first solution is to deactivate my account, which really says a lot about the company. Additionally, I’ve been charged extra fees and subscriptions that I never signed up for.

Company is a scam and will take money from your bank account (even without signing up for a subscription). The CEO should pray to God for his is a thief. You should never even download the app. You will lose money.

SCUM OF THE EARTH. I had an account that I closed over 3 years ago and enter a new account to withdraw funds and they say that the original account has to be the one that the money gets deposited to all the while they continue to STEAL money out of my other account just fine and the money that's "trapped in the app" can't be accessed. Mind you I have not used the app in over three years and now I'm seeing charges twice in one month.

I tried to get an advance with this app but didn't quite notice they are linked to bank account and saving or what not... So I did not finish the process for the Albert app... Long story short... They had taken 100 at first (I really don't know how it got to that... So I texted them and got AI responses). I said that I need to close this account but they rained responded that I needed to close the account by first depositing 48 into the account (which apparently I had opened) so I did and closed it! It so I thought... When I saw I didn't get my money back I went onto "Pissed Consumer", made a complaint. Within 1 hour I received a response! They told me they were officially closing the account and refunding me... And that they did! With 2 days it was refunded to me. Thank you everyone who collaborate in this task.

They are total scam. They steal my money and won't give it back. Your money well be vanished. Everything is fake. Their cooperate office in California is also fake. FBI have many complaints from many people. If they steal your money please go to the police department.

I signed up to get an advance. I was told I didn’t qualify because it would take time to verify my debit card information. They were able to verify my checking account information to charge me money every month, how convenient for them. What kind of cash advance company takes money and doesn’t give it? VERY DIFFICULT process to deactivate account. It was about 17 steps. Worthless company and waste of time.

So, I get this notice about a repayment… Immediately after like immediately after they debited my bank account and I see charges have posted. Then I text and they give me the run around. Tell me the charges were cancelled (They weren’t. I verified with bank.) and then wanted me to send a banking statement (like are you trying to steal my identity?!!). So I go to Reddit and the BBB… Yeah read those reviews and I see a class action suit too. Do your research. And I repeat my title… And how is this legal.?!?

This is a total rip off. A buddy of mine asked me to download the Albert app. Said we were both get a $50 bonus. I have received a bonus from Chime so I was on board to get $50 extra cash. Signed up. Gave them my information. Never received the $50 but they took $14 out of my checking account and put it into savings. I was not expecting this so I tried to delete the app and cancel it. They told me I had to have at least $20 to be able to cash out my money. I decided I wasn't going to let them take any more of my money without my permission or reading the small small print whichever it may be.
To make a long story short they have been trying to debit the subscription for credit services for over a year now. They try to get the 1499 every 2 weeks on Friday just like clockwork. I also have the Chime which allows you to freeze your debit card at any time so every Friday 4:00 p.m. I turn my Chime card off. It's been working but it is a hassle. Only other things to do is to change debit cards or credit cards.

I have never had an Albert Savings account, nor do I have the app on my phone or computer, yet they were somehow able to access my credit union account and withdraw $363 in one weeks period. After trying to communicate with them by text, I had to go to the credit union and change my account info to stop the bleeding.

They are a complete scam. They will collect your personal financial information, and keep you behind a paywall in order to cancel. I wonder what they are doing with people's financial information. If they are this predatory It's just a matter of time before someone files a lawsuit.

They don’t have anyone to talk to by phone. They are stealing my money out of my account after I told them by email not two months ago and they said they would stop it and they are now taking it out again without permission. If they don’t stop I will take matters further.

Do NOT, I say DO NOT connect with these thieves! Once established, they link your bank accounts and steal your money!!! It all looks fun and fancy, but try to close your account, and you will see the true predatory nature of this company.

Albert holds your bank account hostage. Even when you think you have deleted your banking info, they illegally connect it again. You actually cannot delete your banking info until you give them another. Automatically takes $14.99 monthly fee & give no way to speak to a customer service agent to stop it. I have not gotten an actual cash advance from Albert since 2020! Will have to go to the bank directly and fill out form to stop Albert from taking automatic subscription fee.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a company. Not only is the service they provide below average, but the cancellation process is borderline predatory. They make it extremely difficult to cancel the subscription. I unsuccessfully attempted to cancel my subscription 5 times, all while racking up $194 in fees. Albert refuses to issue a full refund despite these numerous attempts and explanations. Please stay FAR away from this company.

Albert offers up to $100 instant overdraft with a linked account. But you have to turn on smart money savings for overdraft. They take large chunks of money from my other bank to “put in savings.” I honestly liked the instant overdraft but right now I have $70 pending in Albert savings, including $29 taken out this morning. When I contacted Albert to stop the transaction, they told me they couldn’t even though it hadn’t processed. The cancel button in their page wouldn’t work. Nothing works with Albert. The smart money savings is a horrible idea. They take money out and it shows pending in your savings so you can’t use it. The money just stays pending.
I wouldn’t recommend Albert. Aside from the instant overdraft, which other banks offer and better, there is next to reason to go with them. Customer support is texting with someone. They don’t offer enough features. I’ve had them for a while and was never sent a physical card even after I asked. Their virtual card will only work certain places. That’s the main reason I had to get a second bank as my main bank. I need the physical card that actually works. And to be able to deposit a check. You cannot not deposit a check into Albert. You can’t pay anyone. If your virtual Albert card doesn’t work then you’re out of luck. I’ve also had charges from subscriptions that I’ve closed and they keep coming through on Albert.

This is the worst "budgeting" app I have ever witnessed. First, it pulled money from my account without warning me or being transparent. Next, when I tried to block the app from pulling more money from my account with my bank, the app changed its merchant name to bypass the stop-hold and get more money out of my account. It changed its merchant name from "Albert Savings" to "Albert Genius." It also took a whopping $155 out of my checking account in ONE DAY claiming that it was "creating a savings account for me on the app." This is not a bank. This is an app. When I tried to get my money back, the app refunded me but then showed I had a negative balance with it. This is their trick to keep you from closing your account with them because they only let you deactivate your account when you have a balance with them of "0."

I would definitely think twice before downloading this app and using it. I ended up just forfeiting about $30 to the app just to get my account closed and not have to deal with them anymore. They throw up every obstacle you can think of to close your account And that’s after you’ve spent an hour trying to figure out how to close the account.

When you want to leave they make it the worst. They don't stop charging you. You can't talk to a real person. The texting line claims to be a real person but it doesn't answer you directly. ABSOLUTELY USELESS. Do SoFi Bank instead.
