Alex ** did an amazing job helping us with our loan. The experience was very positive. Communication is key for our family and NASB responded to all of our questions with patience and positivity. Would highly recommend NASB and Alex ** to family and friends.

Was good other than timeline and misunderstood quote. Was quoted a very competitive quote through Costco system and early in the process learned that quote was not as competitive as we had thought given the expense of that type of loan in the quote.

Jason ** did an excellent job with the refinance. He did just a great job explaining everything, was very quick to respond to my questions, and was helpful all around. I’ve been through home financing with a few banks, and this by far was the simplest process. My only concern for the future is alerting the customer beforehand about third party vendors that you contract out. The one credit inquiry group called and I was unsure if it was a scam or not. Thankfully I contacted Jason and he quickly confirmed that they were a legitimate third party vendor.

My loan guy Kory ** was great, answered all my questions quickly and correctly. All his estimations were right on point! I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a REFI. He was available by phone and by email, never ever had to wait to hear back from him. He was very reassuring through the entire process.

Communication was excellent, and everything went very smoothly. Turn around with communications were typically within minutes, and we are very happy overall with the experience. Marc and his team always made us feel heard, and we were more than happy to help in securing docs in a timely fashion.Thanks!

Our rep Jenna always made herself available for questions and kept us updated on the progress of our refinance. Closing went as expected and on schedule with our rep dealing with the escrow company and arranging the notary. NASB portal was great for easy document uploads and disclosure delivery.

Brett ** was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. We had a unique situation with us living in Canada and trying to refinance properties in Minnesota and Michigan. We ran into some roadblocks that Brett was able to navigate and find solutions. The overall process took longer than I expected, but Brett was honest about where we were in the process and quick to provide updates whenever I asked. That level of customer service prevented me from getting frustrated or discouraged along the way and was actually one of the main reasons we chose to refinance with NASB to begin with.

Anthony constantly communicated with us all the way through the refinancing process which was key to providing a 5 out of 5 star service. He answered all questions ASAP and even on weekends. We highly recommend this banks services. Thanks again Anthony!

Communication was fine, but not a lot of heads up on the closing timeframe. But very responsive to email and questions. Not a lot of drama and glad to work with NASB and Lauren N again! The rate was fantastic and couldn’t find anything better than what they provided.

Had a great refi experience with Kurt ** at NASB. Kurt let me know every week how far along in the queue we were for getting to underwriting, and the loan closed almost to the day from when he said it should in the beginning, so expectations were managed really well. The back and forth with the underwriter for paperwork was minimal, and communication with Kurt was always returned promptly and in a very helpful manner. Great experience all around!

NASB took significantly longer than promised to close on the loan due to demand for the great deal, there were many times I thought to jump ship and go to another Bank. Mike ** has been the loan processor for the 4 houses I have purchased in Lee's Summit. Mike does an amazing job of keeping the process organized; letting me know at each step what is required. Another veteran recommended NASB to me. I tried to work with other company's for the IRRL. However, there many challenges we endured with these other companies. My friend recommended NASB, and NASB made it an easy process, they know what they are doing.

NASB Uses a web portal to keep a collection of documents for those you need to read or to save documents that you have scanned in and are required in the refinance process. California law requires a lot of documents, so it was handy to have this portal. At the end of the process, the final closing went very smoothly and I was happy with the process.

The Costco partnership provided for a very low origination fee, that paired with the best rate was the primary reason for using NASB. Was told upfront it would take 90 days to close and it was actually closer to 120 and that was with a complete file at submission and a property inspection waiver. Loan officer was direct which works for me, I understand the process, not real friendly/customer service oriented.

The entire process was made extremely easy and every promise kept until the end. Very accommodating and best deal out there. Excellent communication along the way. RC was the best loan officer we've ever dealt with. Would highly recommend to everyone I know.

Richard ** was very helpful, he was always so prompt to return phone calls and f/u with any questions that needed to be answered. However I was not pleased with how the closing was set up, a notary was sent out, she was not able to answer some questions asked, and she didn't bring me a copy of the documents for my self.

Our only complaint was the loan process took longer than desired. That was out of the control of many as I understood it that there was a backlog of loan processing requests. Thankfully we were able to float the rate down a bit on day of close. Dirk did a great job.

The process took an inordinate amount of time (8/7 - 11/04), the delays resulted in the system sending messages to inform me my application was not complete/valid; irrelevant requests for info such as having to explain the issuance of my SS# and a couple of random years; obtaining wrong info from my HOA by Not speaking to the contact I provided; ultimately I had to pay property taxes a month early because of the timing of closing. Overall it's a process that had stress and irritation, but I'm glad it's over.

I am so thankful for NASB and Jon ** for helping me buy my first home. I was stressed through most of the process but Jon was always there to answer any questions and let me know what was going on. I thought I was going to be left in the dark until an approval or denial was sent but I was constantly updated and am extremely grateful for it. They gave me an incredibly competitive rate, and I would highly recommend NASB to friends and family.

Brian R. kept me notified (even though sometimes I did not hear any news for weeks). The loan took a long time to get approved and closed (~97 days). The process started on 06Aug2020 and closed on 13Nov2020 even when I turned in my paperwork within a day of being requested, having an excellent credit score, and appropriate assets for the loan. I had to get Costco involved for the loan to close. I understand we are in a pandemic and a lot of people are refinancing but this amount of time is unacceptable. I will neither use nor recommend NASB for loans in the future.

Process was quick. Excellent communication. Bob ** responded to all of my emails quickly. Much easier to deal with than an in-town mortgage company I had worked with before. No complaints. Was able to reduce my monthly payments with re-finance loan. Would recommend and use again.

Bryant (loan officer) is very resourceful and always responds for any sort of queries and be ready to help with the loan application. He always gave the heads-up about next steps and very very prompt in answering queries. Even at the closing stages when I got a better rate he worked really hard to match it and get a comparable rate and closed the loan.

Horrible experience except for Steve **. Steve was great helping us through a very bad experience. The loan assistant basically dumped our file and it took us eight months to close. The delay probably cost us $6,000 in extra interest paid because of the delay. But no, you didn’t deliver as promised. Steve was your only saving grace.

Everything went very well. There were some hiccups at the last minute with some unexpected hold ups with underwriters, but otherwise, it went very well. In the end, we ended up with the loan after a couple of scares getting there.

I’ve been in the real estate business for over 10 years and usually use my business partner for all my home loans. This time I was buying in a different state and needed someone I could rely on when buying a home in a very competitive market. After requesting info from NASB, Rick was the one that reached out in regards to my loan. He was very prompt and professional from the start of our first conversation. He had my loan through underwriting ASAP which allowed me to beat out 10 other offers because of this. On top of this, he was able to beat out a few other lenders rates by .25-.5%. I have done multiple home loans/refinances in the past and my experience with NASB was the worse yet. It took 107 days to complete the process when we were told expect no more than 90 days. The signing documents were late, incorrect and not complete. They had to reschedule title sign appointment. Very little proactive communication. Everything seemed to be done at a rush on their schedule. My experience led me to believe they have too many loans in process and not enough people to get them done. I would not recommend NASB to anyone, I would caution people to avoid NASB if they value customer service.

I went through a mortgage refinance many years ago with a different house and a different bank. It was such a difficult transaction that I had put off doing a refi this year. Tonja was great to work with. She guided us through the process and always kept us informed of status. The only downside was on the underwriter side. Due to the volume of loans being processed it took a very long time.

Our refinance took over 90 days to complete and due to errors collecting information on the NASB side we had to change our IRA distributions which contributed to the delay. Communication after it passed from the information collection stage was also slow.

I contacted NASB using my Costco membership. My Loan Consultant Greg was great to work with. He warned me it might take up to two months to complete my refinance due to popular demand. I am self-employed during Covid so I had to provide a little extra information concerning the ability for my business to survive but all in all, it was a great experience and I was able to qualify for a rate over 1 point lower than my last loan. I am very happy with NASB and my refinance process.

I loved working with Nick **. He explained clearly all my options and it was easier to make decisions. Even though the process took longer than I expected, every person involved in my refinance was very helpful in trying to expedite the loan.

Was a little longer process than last time and hit some hiccups along the way because of a unique family medical situation that popped up, but our POCs kept us well informed along the way. My experience working with NASB, specifically Erik **, has exceeded my expectations. I do not trust people to tell me the truth when they are selling a service to me, but my experience with Erik has demonstrated that there are some people who can be trusted. I asked many questions about the process, rates, and costs. I like to understand what I am paying for and what I am agreeing to. Erik was patient and explained every aspect of the process with detail and patience I typically don't expect. If I am in the market for a new loan, Erik will be my first contact. I cannot recommend him strongly enough to reflect the experience I had.

Overall it was good. The interest rate when I locked down was good enough to work with but it took too long to close. I locked down on June 25 and closed on October 9. It took three and a half months. When I closed the refinance, the average interest rate for 30 years turned into 2.7%. What I don't like particularly was the rpmsg file. The message from my loan officer was a protected message, rpmsg, the file type that I could not read on my computer whenever he sent back to me his reply. Why don't you use more general one to communicate with your customers.

Mortgage Process was very good and thorough. Loan Officer coordinated, communicated and followed up. NASB did a good job. The underwriter was very helpful. The only problem area was the home appraisal which was handled by a third party. Online portal easy to use and access always available too. Closing was flawless and very professional. I really trust their service and all of it was communicate via online portal or smartphone. I have recommended them to family and friends. This is my second time using them and both times they did a good job and provided excellent service.

Refinance my mortgage with NASB, went by pretty smooth during the process. Could use a better communication between the customer and NASB, however overall I would recommend this mortgage company to others.
