I purchased a 2007 Mercedes. First off it was only worth 10,000. They charged me 23,000 for this car with $7000 down payment. The car broke down some months later. Cost me 1000's in repairs so they reported the car not running and sued me when I paid all my monthly payments on Time and put $7000 down. They have the car that was trash from the beginning and still try to file a lawsuit and post it all over the internet which this car was taking off me in a divorce battle. I won so they will be hearing from my attorney with this fat lawsuit.

I financed a car from this company, it was my first car at that time. It turned out to be trash. I was young. I didn’t have the knowledge that I have today. The first day that I drove the car back home the check engine light came on. I couldn’t drive the car a lot. I called the dealer. They weren’t helpful. I called Lobel. They were very unprofessional. There was always weird noise in the background (people laughing). They are scammers. Please don’t ever trust this “company.” It’s TRASH!!!! The car started to leak oil after 2 weeks of purchasing the car. Also it had a problem with the engine. I have proof because I took it to a professional BMW dealership.

I financed a car from this company, my first car at that. It turned out to be a lemon. I was able to drive the car about 20% of the time I had it. Lobel just shrugged it off. Mind you I had problems the first month after getting the car. I should’ve known something was up when the dealer was as able to call someone at Lobel and get my application to go through because it was denying me at first. I called them numerous times to try and work something out but they didn’t care. The car was worth about $2000-$3000 at the most but was sold to me for $6000.

Once I did the voluntary repossession, the car sold for a measly $1600 or somewhere around there. Not to mention the repairs (yes I tried to get it fixed before the repossession), were estimated to be around $5000. That didn’t include 1 other expensive fix that they couldn’t figure out. It was a diesel vehicle so fixing it was an expensive headache. I wish I had never done business with that car lot and this predatory loan company.

Once again I make a payment 1 week early and I am still being told I am past due. Lobel Financial keeps charging me late fees even though I pay a week early every month. They have already reflected my credit score negative 51 points and it keeps getting worse every time I make a payment. Customer service is horrible. I ask customer service reps to put notes on my account on the date I make my payments and they never do.

NOBODY SHOULD TRUST LOBEL FINANCIAL!!!! They will only lie and steal from you. I have filed complaints with the BBB and a customer rep calls and asks me to retract my statements so they can help me resolve my issue. What a joke. They do not care they are ruining peoples credit scores. I was pushed out of buying a home because they lied about late payments on my account. We need to stand together and put a stop to this. Please comment on this review if you are willing to assist in getting an attorney to put an end to Lobel Financial's lies. Legal action must be taken or they will just keep stealing from and lying to people in need.

My first mistake was signing for a car for an ex who ended up not paying a dime for the car. The initial price of the car was 12,000. My bill is now 22,000. They won’t drop the interest that has accrued. I set up a payment plan and the total price of the car keeps increasing. The staff is not helpful, arrogant and downright mean. The car is worth less than $5,000 but now I am stuck paying the price of a brand new car.

Lobel financed my husband when no one else would. After reading some of the other reviews, I'm shocked we're talking about the same company. There were a few times we were late and/or missed a month entirely and not once were we harassed. Not once did anyone from the company call us about the late/missed payment. I've only had to call the company one time and the customer service guy was super nice and helpful.

Long story short, we've just paid the last payment. Thanks to Lobel (albeit at a way higher interest rate, but that's the price you pay), we were able to rebuild our credit back to 780 and have since financed two more vehicles and a home. I typically don't write reviews but because our experience has been so different, I felt it necessary to share. Otherwise, Lobel has been one of the best companies (AmEX, Chase, Citi, all included) that I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I will update this review if we have any difficulty receiving the title as several other reviewers have reported.

The entire staff was unprofessional and I was even hung up on two times. I have made my final payment and after reading all the reviews which I wish I did before purchasing the vehicle, I honestly feel they are trying to create a reason to make more money off of me. Just close my account and send me the title PLEASE.

My husband and I have receive phone calls everyday stating our acct that has been fully paid off is past due. Not to mention when we made the final payment, the representative got all of my bank info wrong three times, and a supervisor forced me to pay extra money and send the final payment through Western Union that is magically lost. I called WU and they informed me the company as already received the payment. I also called my bank, WU have already drafted the money from my bank acct. I have never had any problems until now. I purchased my first car in Nov. 2018. Lobel was the financing company. My first payment was Due Dec 10th. I made the payment late on Dec 23rd. I received my statement for Jan on Dec 28th stating they received my payment and my next payment was due Jan 10, 2019. Other than that statement I received nothing further saying there was any issues. On Jan 3 I went outside to go to my car to Drive to work and it was gone. I find out it has been repoed. I was completely confused. I called Lobel and tried to find out what was going on, they told me I needed to speak to a specialist but none were available and they would call back by the end of the day. I heard nothing. I called again. Still no answers. This went on for a week before I got to speak to the specialist.

They said my payment was returned. And they called me several times to resolve the issue. I had zero calls from them. My bank says the payment was never even taken out. Regardless of that I wanted to know what it would take to get my car back. They told me I had to pay the full balance which was more than $20k. I just put $6000 down a little over a month ago and that took me a long time to save. I also paid $868 to get insurance started. That's deposit and premium payment. Which is a complete waste. I didn't even have it for more than a month. I told them there's no way I can do that and I want to speak to someone about this.

For weeks I called and tried to speak to a supervisor or anyone to resolve this and I was hung up on after hours of waiting, laughed at and literally not listened to. It was like speaking to a machine. After this happened I saw they have done this to so many people. My payment even if I didn't make it was not even 30 days past due and they took my car. The repo company who took my car would not let me get my tools for work, my work I.D., daughter's car seat, stroller or gun out without paying $150 plus $15 every day after to get the items out. I feel robbed and can't believe this is even illegal. Something needs to be done about what they are allowed to do to people.

I have had my BMW for 1.3 years and I have had only a small issue at the beginning with the insurance. Yes if you do not send in the proper paperwork from your insurance you will get charged with the insurance fee from Lobel. Which I did get fined but was taken off once I sent in the proper paperwork. If a person is on time with payments and responsible with the money they have been entrusted you should not have a problem. All these people are late on payments or they bought a lemon and don't want their car anymore. That has nothing to do with the finance company. Plus they give you 10 day grace period to pay without fees. I mean come on people you have a high-risk loan they will not play around with non-payments.

I purchased a car financed by Lobel Financial in 2018. I made all of my payments even late payments that kept account current. Lobel took two payments in one month one day after each other from my bank account in August 2018 then stated I did not make the next months payment. I request a payment due date change to Lobel six (6) different times in one year which they agreed to the change with a letter dated January 2019, since refuse to honor the agreement. They claimed I was 40 days behind on payment repossessed my car Monday night 6/17/2019 after Lobel made a phone call to Phantom Towing. After the call in less than one-half hour my car was repossessed.

Spoke to Lobel in a lengthy phone conversation going over a complete statement all of my payments made proving I am current, plus the dates they claimed I was behind were false by not honoring the new due date agreement for my monthly statement. Lobel will not honor that I am current on all of my payment. Because of the fraud, corruption and deceit in their business practice, Lobel Financial has taken my car. I want my car back and for Lobel to update and correct the deficiencies that I and Lobel pointed out in billings on 6/18/2019 which they refuse to honor.

Lobel has a negative demeanor to customers across the nation. In 2018, Lobel harassed me for six (6) months regarding claiming I did not have car insurance even proving to them that I had insurance with the purchase of the car which transferred over from the previous car coverage. I had to get the insurance legal department to force Lobel to deal with the issue. All of my payments I have proven to Lobel and the staff time and time again since February 2018 to current June 19, 2019, of payments and not being behind enough to repossess my car. Yet, all I get is excuses with no resolution. Lobel employees do not follow up, can't get supervisors when requesting one as all Lobel employees are supervisor's. Engage in false debt harassment.

I have not received any notice or mail from Lobel since January 2019 only receiving threatening phone call daily including Saturdays and Sundays, even phone calls Lobel hangs up. I've been told by Lobel staff all faxes take five (5) to seven (7) business days for review. They don't read case notes or follow up on disputes when the evidence of payment I made is clearly not in their favor. I have saved all information including the confirmation of payments made to Lobel. I want my car back as soon as possible.

Currently in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy with Lobel being a listed Debtor. I was involved in a Hit and Run accident on 5/2. Insurance paid claim on 5/16 and made the check out to Lobel and myself. Car repairs completed 5/31. Took check into local branch along with the proper documentation that the car repairs were completed. Lobel applies the Insurance check to the account as a payment. I did not endorse the check or give permission for Lobel to apply the check to my account. The check has to have both signatures to be checked. They are stating it was a mistake however California Branch is blaming Texas Branch and so on.

Insurance company could not do a stop payment because they are showing the check has been cashed. Car has been repaired and is still at the repair shop adding more storage fees as the days continue, not to mention me paying out of pocket for a rental. This company as a whole does not take accountability. I have filed a complaint with the FTC, the Bankruptcy Trustee, and will be seeking another attorney apart from my Bankruptcy counsel to file a civil lawsuit. Why they would pocket $2,400 meant to repair the vehicle I have not a clue, but I will spend whatever money I have to make sure this company is shut down.

I leave my report so they do not do business with this company, do not submit to it, they are so dumb. They will take damage and I would pay the car, but so what? I will appeal in court to recover my signal, the money I have deposited and the embarrassment I have suffered in the process, I am not afraid of court, proceedings, justice, etc. They think they are immigrants who are going to bow their heads to them, of savers and profiteers. I bought myself a BMW M3 in June of 2017, from a local small dealership here in the Houston area. I had the car for approximately 6,000 miles before the engine blew on the vehicle. What do I mean? The connecting rod from inside the cylinder sheared into two piece and shot out of the bottom of my block... Meaning a hole was created... That's not where I got screwed, the story gets better. I was working for Safelite AutoGlass when this happened (back in January of 2018). 6 months after I got the car, I am faced with a bill for a full engine replacement on a BMW M car, which mind you is not cheap. I called the bank when it happened and informed them the car was IN-OP and that I was going to be a little late on my payments to figure everything out.

Kept making payments on the vehicle, then I got a job offer at a body shop locally. So I took it after being promised more money. After getting the job at the body shop. I had my vehicle towed there, (it's now June/July) and I get the vehicle looked at. After looking at the car, they tow it out of the shop to park it on the lot, and end up dropping the car off the tow truck (the body shop dropped my car). Now, I am not only devastated but completely done with the car. I contact Lobel and let them know I do not want the vehicle anymore and OSCAR tells me they will come get it. OSCAR also promised me they would go after the body shop for the damages, since they dropped the car and that the business my vehicle was at was liable.

Makes sense, he told me over the phone on a recorded line that they would send an inspector out to the body shop to assess the damages and go after the body shop for the value. Since it was a loss and there was an accident on the vehicle he also told me that my GAP insurance that I PAID FOR would cover the rest of the damages. NOW I CALL BACK AFTER THEY PICK UP MY CAR, and get a completely different story by Noemi. She told me that I was responsible for the damages and the remaining balance on the vehicle after it was sold at auction. Advice, don't bank with these people because they do not honor their word. Now I am getting a lawyer involved to sue both the bank and the body shop for damages to my vehicle.

I paid the car off in 8 months and had the title in my hand within two weeks of sending the final payment. Zero issues with Lobel the entire time. They were professional on the phone and prompt in service. If you have even the slightest doubt about being able to make payments on time, don't go through them. If you don't understand how 30% interest works, don't go through them. If you don't know for a fact that you can keep full coverage on the car for the entire term, don't go through them.

The first filed 4/26/18 in Los Angeles County resulted in a wage garnishment now today I received a Memorandum of Cost judgment filed in Sacramento Co Court 7/25/18 for "the remaining principal" $1,976.58. They show a total collected; $806.69 for which no credit given. How can they keep obtaining judgments on cases I've not been served on. I have relocated to another state not trying to elude them but if they can find my employer I am sure they can find me hence the notice after the fact.

I wish I would have done some research or looked at this website before giving this company my business. I got a loan for a vehicle for 10,000$. My payment is 350 $ a month, yes I know and it's a KIA. However it has been 29 months and I've made every payment on time which is over 10,000$ I have paid into my vehicle. SOMEHOW MY BALANCE IS CURRENTLY over 6,000 and I have been making payments for 2.5 years. This company is 100% a Scamming and fraudulent company as far as I am concerned and takes advantage of people. Now I must involve a lawyer which will cost more money.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. GANGSTER company is a complete understatement. It's a CRIMINAL organization and will put you in a economic prison/nightmare. Secret Fineprint with ridiculous interest rates and associates that work for this company are complete and utter 16 year olds who have the IQ less of a ** PENGUIN. BEWARE. STAY AWAY!

Once a vehicle is paid off and the money clears the bank they still hold the title for more than 3 weeks and refuse to issue a lien release. Then it takes additional time once they finally get off their hind ends and release it for the DMV to process and send it to you. This is a ripoff. I have read lots of other customer reviews as well and they are sure in a hurry to repo a vehicle if a payment is late but they refuse to assist someone who has paid off the vehicle as well. Now I have to sit here and wait 1-2 months to sell a vehicle I have paid off because they have piss poor policies and customer service.
