Constant lack of communication and wrong estimates on timing. Reflecting back on this whole process, I can’t think of a time that there wasn’t a communication failure when working with the group at Homefinity. Each communication failure led to a delay with literally every single step of this process. The process started in May 2021 and didn't wrap up until October 2021. Sometimes I felt like we were getting punked. Maybe they aren't used to handling international clients.

Everybody was super responsive and the process was a great experience. I love the terms I got. My rep was totally on top of it. We were super thrilled.

I applied online and within an hour, they reached out to me. There were at least 10 different people that I worked with throughout the process and I liked their punctuality and friendliness. The process was seamless.

The process was a piece of cake. Everything online was professional and easy to do. There were some questions that went through the process but there were no hiccups because everybody was smart about it. It was a great process.

Homefinity did a great job and the two people I worked with were really helpful.

Everyone communicated clearly and quickly and they were concise. I had a lot of questions and they answered all my questions. They were helpful and transparent. There were a few things that we had to go back and review to make sure that all the numbers were correct but they fixed it pretty quickly.

The loan officer was always available whenever I needed him, even when he was on vacation in Hawaii. He answered his phone and we were in constant communication. I was a first-time homebuyer so I had a lot of questions and my experience with him was good for first-time homebuyers. Also, there's a portal that tells you all the documents that they need from you. I had some questions and they were able to answer them thoroughly. I worked with two different people and they were knowledgeable about my case. I was very happy with the whole process.

The refinance went so smooth I was wondering if I was getting scammed at first. Then, we closed at our house. They had the title. I was able to fill out some paperwork online, sign it, and then the wet signature was done right here at our house. Also, the gal I dealt with would respond to me within the day or 24 hours. The whole process was less than 30 days.

We reached out to Cindy and she gave us some more information about the rates that they were showing, and the opportunity for points. Everything was online. But Cindy was also available to answer questions. She answered her emails really quickly. I had a house, and I was wanting to purchase. And I had already put in an offer on it.

Everything was done through emails and a couple of phone calls and we were done. It was a pretty efficient process and they have very cordial staff. They made it easy to execute and get it done and I appreciated that.

Everything from application to closing went very smoothly. The agent walked me through the process and he was very reachable. Also, the rates and terms are very favorable for us. We were looking for below 3% and they were able to get us that. Homefinity is very amenable to working with real estate Realtor agents, as well. I would highly recommend them.

I considered Homefinity's rate and the fees, and the person I worked with, Dave, is very honest, attentive and he always gets back to me immediately. Overall, if somebody doesn't provide the loan estimate to you right away, be very suspectful. That was not what happened with Dave. I stopped working with other lenders because when I got a loan estimate, they were ready to submit it to underwriting. I was like, “Wait a minute, you didn't tell me about these fees?” So, I like Dave because he did not do that.

I had refinanced my primary residence with Homefinity in February. When I started looking for rates, Homefinity had the best rate for my rental property that I could get and I went with them versus my credit union because if I would use my credit union, it would be two months to do it. With Homefinity, it was about five weeks. It was better to go back with Homefinity because everything worked smoothly. There's transparency with all the documents and everything you get. They're responsive to your questions, too. I contacted Carrie and her assistant. Almost everything was handled by email, and it was easy to use the portal to upload documents.

When I did my refi, Homefinity was the one who picked up that loan. I've been happy with them. Anytime I've called or talked to them, they've been fine. Homefinity's been really good to deal with. I worked with Jessica and I appreciate her keeping in touch and always answering questions. She was very knowledgeable and kept me updated. Anytime I would call, she would answer or call me right back. It was good communication.

I was shopping around for rates and I came across Dan who was the guy that I worked with there at Homefinity. He was the most responsive. He was very helpful. They killed me with customer service. So, everything went very well. He had competitive rates, he was on top of everything as far as answering questions, and I didn't feel like I was just another number. I was really impressed with the level of service that I got from them compared to others that I've had in the past. The overall timeframe was very fast. Everything just kept rolling. Even the closing was moved up earlier than we had expected because all the stuff was there and there were no issues. So, it was a really great experience.

Homefinity’s application process was straightforward and excellent. Everything went fine. I worked with them twice, and I was happy both times with them. This recent one was my second within the last 12-month period, and I worked with the rep on the first one where I just been assigned to him. Since I knew him, I reached out to him and emailed him, and he gave me all the information that I needed really quickly. I'm detail-oriented, so he gave me all of the information I was looking for in a concise format and he didn't waste any of my time.

Winn was super helpful; very attentive and helped us understand all the various options. Refinancing isn't an easy thing to do, but he made it a breeze. We've recommended him to friends and family. I would definitely work with him again.

I'm just waiting for the first payment, and to find out who my loan is gonna be with. It has been a good experience so far.

I reached out to three different lenders but Homefinity responded to me the most quickly. We have a complex situation and they seemed up to the challenge. One of the other lenders that I spoke to didn't seem like she could manage getting all the pieces to come together. We have done several home purchases and refinances in the past and Homefinity's system was by far the easiest to work with, because instead of trying to send different documents via a secure email link, they had a very streamlined process for telling us specifically what they were looking for and how to upload those documents. Their system was secure and streamlined that process.

My loan officer with Homefinity was the first one to call me. She was super responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and no pressure. Her willingness to share that knowledge with me regardless of whether I used her or not was what ended up sealing the deal for me. I liked working with her. The application took me less than 20 minutes. Six weeks for the underwritings. But there should be a little more frequent communication towards the end of the loan. I had to reach out to the processor and the loan officer multiple times to get clarification on things that they easily could have just included in an email sent to me. But outside that, it was great. Homefinity was fantastic through the whole process.

Homefinity was one of those that have better rates. Everything went really well. It was all seamless. Provide all the information upfront such that you wouldn't fall into the problem of having an issue with underwriting if there was missing data at the time of filling in the application.

The application process was fast. I just filled out all the information and it took three days to get conditional approval. They pull the credit check. We closed on time. Don was awesome. We email back and forth. Or if it was easier to call, we just jump on a call and talk. Whenever I needed him, he was there. He was responsive and was able to solve all my problems easily. He helped me get through the loan process seamlessly. I will use him again. It was a good experience. I would recommend Homefinity.

Angela was so positive and willing to answer any of my questions at any time. And if she didn't know the answer, she would find it out and get back to me. She told me every step of the way. We love getting the mortgage and being able to stay in our home because I do medical foster care, I have foster children and they're in the home also, and we have nurses. It would have been so hard to try to find another home.

The application process was smooth. Homefinity sent me a link, I filled it out, and that was that. Getting the loan through them just took a month and a half. I was comfortable with the reps. Also, the rate was good.

I did a refinance on a 30-year mortgage. When I looked at Homefinity, they had the no closing cost option. Everything was smooth. The reps were quick. A lot of the mortgage stuff has become more complex and they are more moving parts. But the person I worked with was very good at communicating. As a matter of fact, I turned around and just refinanced my mom's house with Homefinity as well.

The overall process was relatively easy. I had delayed refinancing as I was dreading retrieving the needed documents, however Homefinity linked my employer, tax records and back statements so very little fell on me. I would have given 5 stars, however steer the loan closed I’ve received 3-4 letters/postcards daily strong arming mortgage protection.

My refinance experience with Homefinity was unpleasant. First, the application process was unsatisfactory. After filling out my application from my responses over the phone, the Homefinity rep emailed me the written application to sign. There were several errors on the application and I did not want to sign such an incorrect application. But they insisted they could not correct the mistakes and that everything was okay and I would get a chance to sign a correct application on the day of closing.

Property taxes were not paid by Homefinity with County fees assessed. Problem is pending resolution. Once the matter is resolved I will be in a better position to provide an assessment of how this matter was handled.

From sales to support, the service was excellent. Even the automated application process was convenient and allowed you to upload information with a system generated checklist. Emily **, the loan specialist, answered my questions in a timely manner.. She even provided support and information months after the loan closed. Stellar service from the entire Homefinity team.

Let me just say that Angela ** was professional and responsive for the items in the transaction that she could control. I just don't understand why I got no information as to a delay with closing until I inquired only to wait another week or two because supposedly the inspector was on vacation. I would not recommend or use again. I do loan closings for a living and I know of other lenders with same or similar rates that are more speedy to close.

This was my first experience refinancing our mortgage using an online only service. I was a little anxious about the experience at first. Our loan officer was in constant contact with us during the process, keeping us up to date on where our loan application was at in their system, which was extremely quick, compared to a bank. They sent a Notary Public in our area, to notarize any document that had to be officially signed. My son is looking for a home and I will be guiding him to Fairway for his pre approval and loan service. Just can’t say enough about how fantastic this company is to work with.

Joe ** and his team were amazing to work with. They are fast and efficient but willing to talk on the phone when needed. Highly recommend them. Quite easy to upload information to their website to complete required info. Great team.

Agent was very good after we hammered a few things out. At first I was bounced between location to location because of workload but got back to where I originally started and Angela did great with doing a lot of leg work!

Overall good. But.... 6+ letters wanting me to buy mortgage insurance, at least two were directly from Homefinity. These letters were misleading and deceptive. Stop it. Also... It's Dec 22 and less than 10 days I will be required to make my first mortgage payment, however....no communication as to the specifics from Homefinity.

I hadn't heard of Homefinity and found it on bankrate.com. The rates and fees looked good. Then I phoned and spoke with Tisha, who was clearly a knowledgeable professional and attentive to my needs. I would absolutely recommend homefinity to anyone looking for good service and good rates.

Very pleasurable, seamless, easy experience. Everything occurred as explained, on-time without any need for extra actions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to refinance. Knowledgeable and pleasant agents throughout the process. Thank you for conducting our refinance with professionalism. It’s a welcome change to so many other experiences that are not as good as the Homefinity one.

The rates were the best I could find. Offered many options with alternate rates. Had an issue with their loan processor and talked to them and they got a replacement processor for me right away that was fantastic. Overall would recommend.

For some reason my tax returns were sent to the closing title agent. Total lack of incompetence on your company. Disgraceful. Now I have to worry about the personal and business information floating out there. Very very unprofessional.

The team members were pretty quick to respond to emails/calls. Greg ** was excellent to work with. Changes along the process were transparent. There was plenty of opportunities for follow up after closing. If you're looking to refinance, I recommend Homefinity.

I have nothing but praise for our experience with Homefinity. We've used them to refinance our home twice and Justin and his team have been timely and helpful through the whole process each time. The first time we used Homefinity was also the first time we've ever used an online company for a mortgage or refi so we were VERY leery about how our confidential information would be handled. I was so pleasantly surprised and would recommend them without hesitation.

The team at Homefinity...got my mortgage done fast and on time. The rate was very competitive. They helped out at times when my agent made a mistake or two. They quickly responded to text and messages. Their site is general better than most of the competitors.

Whenever I had questions or concerns that were beyond Steve **'s role in the mortgage process he was the go to guy. He really knows and has a handle of EVERYTHING!! He knows the business. Where there is weakness there, he is the strength and gets the answers now. He is a keeper.!! Don't lose him. He may not need you!

Was a great online refinance experience. Was very easy to work with and fast. Did everything they said they would do. Staff was great to work with. Very communicative and thorough. Homefinity did an amazing job of not only matching an existing offer, they also managed to beat an already low rate, bringing me under 2% APR. This was just amazing. I also enjoyed working with the closing team, who did a great job of contacting me for necessary documents via email. Winn was very responsive as my sales broker, replying quickly to phone calls and answering questions clearly. The main thing I would change is the web document upload site, which does not really have many "back" or "cancel" options, and the document management was a bit haphazard. Also, it should not be required for me to ask for signed copies of documentation - this should be part of the deliverables. But that small nit aside, it was a very positive experience.

The team was friendly and efficient with all items for the refi application. The reason for 4 stars was the multiple requests from underwriting for more info related to a trust involved and multiple revisits to complete all closing documents.

We worked with Matt and he was super and responsive to our questions. From the title company to the attorney assigned to our refi, everyone was professional and efficient. Because mortgage laws have changed, it takes more time to complete the process, but our rate lock was protected and we received a great rate.

The timeframe necessary to achieve my goals in this refinance was quite strict, so I insisted on facing no uncertain events. The team was responsive and things went smoothly throughout the process. My only problem was that the funds required for closing went up considerably during the last few days prior to closing. These were related to insurance and taxes and the way things are done for a refinance in Texas. The team did not seem to be familiar with some of these things. However, I am pleased that we got it all done at a good interest rate with closing done at my house.

We refinanced with Homefinity. It was easy and stress free and all done from the comforts of home. Staff were friendly and responsive! We only had one issue and that was with the closing company missing the scheduled time but as soon as I called our Homefinity contact we had a new closing time within a few minutes.

The folks we worked with for very knowledgeable and friendly. When I applied I wasn’t exactly sure what kind of loan we wanted. David ran the numbers for me, very patiently, until I decided what to do. This was really a no pressure deal. As a previous homeowner using traditional banks five times over the years, I was hesitant to try an online process, but I am pleased we did for several reasons. First, the rate given us by Homefinity was the best of the quotes we received. Second, their responsiveness to questions was unbelievable. For example, we had a question on a Sunday and wrote an email to our loan officer Ryan **, expecting a reply on Monday. Instead, we received a phone call on Sunday and all our questions were patiently answered. Finally, the process was relatively easy (except for a minor software glitch) and the loan went through smoothly. Overall, extremely pleased.

My entire experience with Homefinity was stress free and a lot less time needed from my end than other lenders I had before. Strongly recommend to use their service. Everyone I worked with are professional and knowledgeable. It was certainly a great experience - they removed a lot of stress for me especially when I just started a new job. IT was very low budget (done on the cheap).. For example - I did not receive a sleeve for all of my documents. They handed me a stack of paper (nothing organized). I was rushed by notary because she was in a rush - I was late because closing time changed 3 times and I was not aware of the last change. I offered to push out to the following week which the notary decided to keep the present schedule but she was clearly not happy. Donna was great - I have worked with her before and that is why I reached out when I was interested in a REFI.

My wife and I have been through the finance and refinance process of our home and cabin several times, and this was this most pleasant experience so far. Matt ** and Katie ** couldn't have made our refinance any easier! We got a great rate, closed on time, ran into no issues at all along the way. I am highly satisfied with my experience for mortgage refinance with Homefinity. After my initial online research for rates and customer reviews, completed an online form with Homefinity. Sales manager Curtis ** guided me through the process and was highly responsive for clarifications in a timely manner. Understandably, the process takes a few weeks for steps involving appraisal, approval, etc. Once the loan was approved, processing officer Mandy ** got me through the necessary paperwork and closing formalities in a breeze.

We are pleased with refinance experience and process with Homefinity. JT and Justin were easy to work with and provided excellent service. The only less positive experience is with the various other 3rd parties engaged (selected appraiser and notary, etc.). At times communication of next steps were not clear with the many parties involved in the process.

The communication from the loan team was terrible. The closing was delayed twice because the loan team did not have the documents ready in time, and they tried to charge me fee to extend the rate lock, even though the delays were all on their end. They did not provide all the documents at the closing, and the closing attorney had to return again with the missing documents. The process was completely disorganized and chaotic. The rate was excellent, which was the only reason I stuck with it even though I could easily have just switched to a different lender.

Easiest purchase/refi I have ever done. Hit the target timeline and the process of submitting paperwork was very easy and efficient. The rate was also the best that I found and the the agents were always quick to respond to emails and answer any questions I had.

From origination to closing, the process of refinancing our home went very smoothly. Excellent communication and feedback from Homefinity employees along the way. Good online tools. Quick answers to questions. Prompt and efficient service. I highly recommend Homefinity as being a lender who is fair, efficient, and customer-service oriented.

Took 9 months to close the loan. Looked like my file had been lost and the file reopened after talking with the customer service rep. Unacceptable. I was seriously considering the suing the company, but decided not to pursue because of the new contact guy who took care of the application after taking over the process.

No games here. Refinance was exactly as quoted initially and we closed in 3 weeks. Cindy and Danielle had great communication with us the entire time. The process was extremely easy being completely online, did not have to send 1 fax!
