I was very nervous about this do to so many scams out there. But after talking with the representation of this firm, they made me very comfortable. I understood how the program works and know exactly what they are able to do for me. I strongly recommend Five Lakes.

They don’t actually help relieve anything. It seems like they do, but you just end up paying them everything you would’ve owed. I had $20,000 in debt and still paid $20,000 and then some because of the money I owed them. Plus all the accounts I paid off went as “charged off,” and my credit went from a 700 to less than 600. I even had a civil lawsuit filed against me for debt I had paid that is still unresolved. PLEASE take this as a warning and do NOT hire them!!!

From the start, the person I spoke with was very helpful, friendly, and above all, very patient. Towards the end of the call, I was left feeling very confident that I had made the right choice because I had learned quite a bit of excellent information.

Five lakes law group did not lower any of my debt. They wait until you get sued by the company in order to negotiate the debt. My debt increased to a higher amount then what I owed. Which they take 27 percent of it. I gave them extra money to pay off one of the creditor. They didn't pay them off at all. They took the money out of the account and kept it. They wanted more money. They do not represent you at court and the negotiate on tat debts were not lowered. I was paying more out of pocket. I felt I was getting the run around on my questions. When I canceled the program they said that any money that was left will go back to me after they take out fees and other attorney fees which is all the money I paid into the debt account to pay the creditors. I also asked where the extra money went. They said it went to other offers when there was no offers made. Never do business with them. They are not upfront with their fees and cutting your debt down.

This program is just what I needed, and everyone has been very helpful at explaining everything to me. It was really easy to navigate, and I’m excited to complete the process. It’s reassuring to know they’re there to assist and support me. Thank you.

So far, our experience with Five Lakes has been excellent. The process has been seamless, customer service has been incredibly helpful, and their willingness to do everything they can to reduce our overall debt and monthly payments has been stress-free. We finally have some breathing room in our finances. It’s been such a pleasant experience.

Simple and straightforward. They are doing what I asked them to do. They are not finished with all of my accounts yet but several of my past due accounts have been settled for about 50% of the original balance. Good job.

They say nothing about the fees when you sign up. They call constantly asking for more than the agreed-upon semimonthly automatic payments which for me is already over $800 a month. Have paid them over $25,000. They have paid out $15,200. They asked if I could get a bank loan to give them more money!

This company has been mostly a 5 star, I had a little problem earlier in the year with paying off a creditor, I was given the wrong amount, they did correct it 2 weeks later. Other than that my Almost 3 year experience has proven to help me get out of debt. I have only one more credit company to be negotiated after paying off 10, one is in process and one to go! 2 creditors would not negotiate down the 40-50%, but the other ones have. I’m much better off now than I was before I started this program.

The only problem is they charge 27% based on your total debt and not the negotiated debt. If you owe $40,000 and they get it down to $20,000 you're paying based on the $40,000. Fees are one thing, but you do not see their fees on the Five Lakes Dashboard. They are pros when it comes to talking in the beginning and very nice but make sure you read the contract. I was stupid and didn't. 27% of the negotiated number would be expectable but off the full amount is just greedy.

Five Lakes has been making this process as painless and stress free as they possibly could have. I don’t think it gets much easier than this! No more taking collectors calls and haggling with negotiations that usually don’t end in your favor. Five Lakes takes all of that stress away!

Five Lakes has kept their agreement with me to gain resolution offers from 4 creditors. They have accomplished this with 3 and are currently working on the 4th. Two have been paid off. All this in 9 months' time. They handled all creditor letters and phone calls. They have made this process so easy for me as I have not had to fret from fear of collection agencies; I received no communications from any. The only downside for me was that a couple of my "store" credit cards were canceled, even though there was a zero balance on them because my credit score became so low. Actually, this is a good thing as my goal is to operate fully via cash or debit. No more credit cards.

Five Lakes has took the stress off of me with my bills helping me consolidate them. They are always there to answer any questions I have. They are very prompt working with my creditors and letting me know when there is a offer from my creditors. I would highly recommend this company. Thank ya'll so much for helping me!!

Five Lakes will wind up costing you. Not all creditors work with them, even if Five Lakes tells you they work with them "all the time". Multiple accounts of mine did NOT receive a lowered balance, and on top of having to pay the full balance, Five Lakes charged 27% just to set a schedule of payments with the creditor. They are deceitful, and good luck being able to get straight answers when you want to talk to someone about specifics with the money you've deposited and how you would like for it to be disbursed.

Five Lakes has performed what it committed to when I first discussed their programs with me. Their staff has been courteous and well informed when I contacted them. The site and the software and communications basically all work well. One minor suggestion would be to include the dollar amount that has been paid up to that point in time for each outstanding balance.

Five Lakes has helped me negotiate with my credit card companies a lower amount owed (about 1/2) and affordable payment terms to each creditor.

You keep most of the money I pay you monthly. You are paying my creditors total 125.00 a month for the last four months. Where does all the rest of the money go. That's not fair. I'm doing without groceries. Of course you don't want my review. I'm stuck with you for over 3 more years.

They advertise they’re gonna help you. They’re not helping you. They’re charging you 27% of the original debt when most of the time they negotiate the debt down to 50% so you’re actually paying 54% to them in fees. Absolutely horrible situation.

This is a trust the process type deal and it works. The people I talk with in the beginning answered any questions and made me feel safe with their service. They explain in detail what will take place. I don't feel the pressure from the bills I was paying every month but not making any progress on paying the debt off. I am able to save some money while paying towards my debt. My credit score took a hit but I think in the end I can get it back or maybe even better. If I had to do this again I would most definitely use them.

Their implementation and utilization of technology is superb. With emails, a welcome video, and a simple yet comprehensive web site and app, everything is so easy to understand! These tools greatly serve to facilitate communication and to convey updated information bilaterally throughout the process as well. Most importantly, the program is estimated to reduce my regular debt maintenance costs by 2/3, down from $3k to $1k /month.

My enrollment agent was very open and knowledgeable and I did tell him this was my second experience with Five Lakes. Because of my conversations with him I believed that my initial experience I may have misunderstood the over services. When I spoke with my attorney I did feel there was more clarity and he was personable and informative. I also told him that I wanted a second chance to allow Five Lakes to serve me. I think that I will do well with Five Lakes at this juncture in the process.
