I spoke to a very nice person, I explained my issue about the credit cards, he was informative, thorough and helpful. I could tell he went well above and beyond to resolve my issue. I was very happy at the end of the call. PEOPLE...with bad credit...I highly recommend to get with these people. I promise you, it will be satisfying.

After being referred from Accredited Debt Relief to Five Lakes Law Group for the next step in the process I have to say the whole experience was much better than I was expecting. I had procrastinated for so long before deciding to see what options I had and everything was completely explained in a way that made me feel listened to, comforted and very easy to understand. Everything is clarified to make sure you understand exactly how everything works and your questions answered and you know what is expected from you and Five Lakes. I really appreciate their services and know I'm in good hands!

The people I spoke with explained everything. It was nice to have a group of people that took their time, ensured that I understood everything. I did not feel pressured into proceeding with the plan they established. They also explained what the differences was if I did not proceed and if I did proceed. Huge difference, HUGE difference.

AVOID this company at all cost!!!!! They claim to help you with your debt. When I signed up, they gave me an amount I'm supposed to pay and until when. When the first settlement came, they called and said they will charge me this much instead. Sure, I understand. They also said stop making payments and they will be in contact with creditors and I'll get help with if I get sued. I was sued 3X! And the last one is only for $300 original debt that I stopped paying because they told me too and the balance ballooned up because of interest. I'm also supposed to be done with payments but they're still charging me every paycheck. They will show you numbers of how much of your debt has lowered - DO NOT believe those numbers. The additional interest, plus whatever they're charging me, I ended up paying more. Their customer service is soooo bad that they all be gaslighting me and giving me empty empathy.

I was apprehensive about the whole program seeing as I’d have to stop paying my creditors. However, the whole process to sign up was quick and then the process of the debt reconciliation was so simple. I literally just had to sit back and let Five Lakes do all the work. I’ve paid off many of my creditors now and all but one are in progress. I am very pleased with the program. Yes my credit score dropped initially but it’s already back to where I was and it was so worth it.

Employee very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and friendly. Worked until he found the product that fit my situation the best. Wasn't in a hurry at all.

DO NOT use this company!!! Do your own negotiating. They kept saying we need $3000 and we can settle this today. Then when you do close out your account they come back and say, "You owe us this amount of money for program fees on an account that was closed nine months prior." They went months not negotiating my accounts when I had over $8000 in there waiting to go to my creditors. When I asked to close the account and to send my funds back they took $1000 “program fees” on an old account I closed out.

They are not clear on their fees and completely give you the run around. They basically kept most of my money to pay themselves instead of paying off my debt. Never use this service. Their goal is not to get you out of debt but to get you to pay the 27% of your debt to them and then pay off your debt which if you spoke to your creditors directly would've given you that offer anyway. If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.

I would recommend Five Lakes to anyone who is struggling with debt. They are very detail oriented. They think of every little thing to make the process easier. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
