Sold me a bunch of lies. Do not use a debt settlement company... "Thomas" was great in the beginning. FYI they take fees after a couple of months. Lost some money, but so grateful I trusted my gut. If only "We don't collect until you have a settlement" was a bingo winner I'd be rich. Honestly I even asked if he would enroll his family.. Real scumbags at this company.

Following my review, company representatives contacted me to address my concerns, which I appreciate. However, it is crucial to resolve the issues caused by the "live bot" moving forward. The live chat has recently become an impossible, frustrating, and difficult means to reach ClearOne. The bot now failed to offer options relevant to my issues or the choice to connect with a "live representative," Being elderly and hearing-impaired, I cannot use the telephone, and attempting to communicate through your "live chat" led to dangerous levels of stress attack.

My answer to your lame offer. 1. $500 is not acceptable because I have been asking for statements for the past year. There is still no proof where my money went. 2. $500 is not acceptable because you left out your attorney's fees in the fake statements you sent me, which are sizable. 3. $500 is not acceptable because you also took money out of my bank account without my permission and never notified me. 4. $500 NONE of my debt is settled. 5. $500 is not acceptable because one of your attorneys told me a card was paid off last year in December. Now I have to go to court. 6. $500 is not acceptable because you all took over $5000 from me and never told me where it went. 7. $500 is not acceptable because none of my debt has been settled. I now owe over $30K. 8. $500 is not acceptable because you are subject to criminal charges of fraud, deception, unethical practices, false promises, and theft

I have trying for several weeks to talk to someone about the terrible service. I want to know what is happening, I signed up several months ago, One account was handled very quickly, the other five nothing for months. My credit score is now 420 because not making any payments for months. What is happening?

Don't do it! Don't do it! I wish I could do no stars! They don't mention the IRS will come for you. They don't mention that your creditors will still assign you to a legal firm. They have you sign up with their legal department for only advice not assistance fee out each month. They will destroy your life. I had 100% payment history. They told me not to make payments and demolish my credit. They never answer the phone so good luck and you will never speak to the person that set you up with the account. It takes 5 years for them to help you by paying one creditor at a time be careful don't do it worst experience ever!

Be very careful with this company, they will steal your money. They are rip off artists, you're paying your monthly payments and all of a sudden you're paying double your amount 6 to 7 months in. True scam artists.

When I signed with this company the promises were probably too good to be true and should have recognized that. I accelerated my payment, they missed one of my cc. They held my money in global holdings and were going to pay a payment monthly instead of sending it in. I called every single month and was told "We got it. I put it in your file. We will take care of" to no avail. They are liars at best.

I was really pleased with Misty. She was professional and friendly. She answered all my questions, explained the program clearly and thoroughly. She was quite knowledgeable about the program. I appreciated the fact that she would be with me throughout the entire process and assured me that I could call her for help and information. She gave me the confidence in her company and herself to go ahead with the program.

This sounded like a good idea when I went through the enrollment process. I thought I was getting clear and concise information at the time. During the course of my enrollment, I found out that not only did I not get all of the necessary information, but I actually got different information with every single person that I spoke to. Anytime I called in for help and was told I would be called back, nobody called me back. Any information I needed I had to chase down. They told me my credit score would dip initially, it absolutely tanked my credit scores and my credit scores are still terrible even after I having paid all of my debt off . It is also reported to the credit bureau that the balances are not paid in full, even though they’re settled, so if you’re doing this with any hope of being able to purchase a home, don’t. Find another way.

ClearOne is in a hurry to sign you up, but then take forever to negotiate your settlements. They say one low monthly payment but every time they do negotiate a settlement, they want to add to the amount of money they are taking for my payment every month. My monthly payment has more than doubled with them since I first signed up. I ended being able to settle with a couple of my creditors directly instead of waiting for Clear One to negotiate with them and saved myself some money on the fees I'm paying to Clear One. Also, they take their fees BEFORE they pay your creditors. Very difficult to get a hold of customer service and they don't answer your questions timely. I had one negotiation settled that was supposed to be paid in a lump sum and they did the draft for the settlement amount from my bank account, but the account still shows as not having been settled. This was in February 2024. It is now the end of May. Just kind of sketchy.

Very bad experience. Pay much, much more than the debt. When I asked for the payment until 2024 November will last draft than right now, tell me last draft is 2025 November. That’s shame. That is cheating. I will tell anyone don’t deal with this company

I am currently enrolled with ClearOne, so this is a real time review. Let me start by saying, when I enrolled I was not behind on a single payment and my credit was actually great. However, I was drowning in credit card payments. I needed help and after researching, landed with ClearOne. Adam was a great salesman, he sold me on what they could do for me and assured me this was a great option. First thing he told me was I needed to stop paying on my cards, the only way credit card company would negotiate, is if I was behind. I told Adam I was very leery to do this, I didn't want to be sued. He "assured" me that even if I was sued, because I was in contract with ClearOne, they would handle the legal side. For the first year or so, things have gone according to how they explained. I was enrolled with 5 creditors. I have paid off one, and currently paying off a second.

Wes told I would receive a welcome call and expected instructions opening my portal. An appointment was scheduled for Monday April 8th at 8 am. I was available and ready to receive that call but no one called. I haven’t heard from anyone since. I’m concerned about how you do business.

I found this company online. After carefully reviewing contract the documents, I decided this program was not going to help me, but rather hurt me in the long run. I cancelled in writing, two days after enrolling - both in writing and on a recorded line. I have since been receiving emails from the attorneys they work with who seem to think that I am still enrolled with them, which I have to keep confirming I AM NOT. I have had to make multiple phone calls to multiple people in the company, advising and confirming they see that I am not longer a part of their messy operation. Each time I am reassured this is not how they run business.

My experience extended over a few days. James ** was well versed, patient and kind. I am hoping this program is as he expressed it would be. He expressed a favorable review of this company. His knowledge and dedication to this program was more than I expected, I am hoping this program is too.

The person I dealt with first- Kirsten- was so great! I explained why I hesitate to accomplish anything where I can't see the person I’m dealing with, (or when the person changes and someone else calls) and she made a point to make sure I could get ahold of the same person. She gave me her personal office number & told me what area code to expect attorney call from. Because I've been scammed before & not only did I lose a lot of money, but I felt stupid on top of it. But we just completed the initial paperwork over the phone & felt very comfortable and safe.
