    Update: Funny enough, I looked at my email and Google review this morning and still haven’t seen any response or acknowledgment that my comment or email was even looked at. What’s interesting is that I did notice you took the time to respond to other people’s comments just two hours ago. So, I know you saw mine. Very interesting. ZERO Stars if I could.

    I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience with ClearOne Advantage. About a month ago, I received a letter stating that I was discharged from my payment program due to “nonpayment.” This was shocking because I had repeatedly called in advance to ask why payments were not being processed from my account. Most of my calls went unanswered. On the one occasion I did reach someone, I was told to schedule a callback, but no one ever followed up. When I contacted Global Holdings directly, they told me that ClearOne had to handle the matter.

    Instead of properly addressing the issue, I received a check for over $2,000 with a note saying I had been released from the program. Now, I’ve received a letter from M&M / Beal Properties claiming I owe $2,000+. This is a complete breakdown in communication and mismanagement of my account. There is no need to give me the standard “please contact us at ExperienceMatters@clearoneadvantage.com or customerservice@clearoneadvantage.com” response. I have already reached out through those channels, and I have yet to receive any meaningful response. In the past, ClearOne would at least call clients directly. Now, they either don’t answer at all or rely on email. I already receive far too many emails in a day, and I prefer a phone call to resolve serious issues like this. This entire process has been frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. ClearOne needs to take accountability and fix the way they handle client accounts and communication.

    I recently spoke with Claire on how long my program is going to be before I ended it. With her help we came to the conclusion that I can end it in October with the monthly payments I’ve been putting in. We sent multiple emails back and forth to come up with calculations for this and she was super helpful in all of it.

    I had to call your company to tell you that my contract has been paid in full and to Stop withholding any more payments from my Auto Pay. During that call I had to tell you to make the Final payment to Capital One. Then, I had to follow up again to find out when I would receive my overpayment. I was told that you were waiting for the final payment check had to clear, since the first check Bounced. I should not have been to one telling you how to do your job!

    Started out great. Got amazingly quick settlement offers. However, last month (May 25) they made an unauthorized debit from my bank account. I made immediate contact with their customer service representative on line. To shorten a long story, I have been given so much misinformation regarding their refunding me the amount of money that was debited. One day it was basically, we re sorry for the inconvenience and miscommunication. A full refund will be made to your bank account.

    A week later having not received the refund, I contacted them again. This time I was told that in fact the refund process did not happen because of an error. I was then reassured that the new request had been made, and I would be refunded the amount with in a week. Yup, you guest it, here we are a month later and still no refund. Today's contact with them indicates that they applied the refund to another settlement. I did not authorize that at all. Now, they are telling me that if I want the refund deposited back into my bank account, this would jeopardize another settlement.

    Bottom line, 1st it was an unauthorized withdrawal from my bank account, too nearly a month of assumptions by them to utilize the funds (which were not authorized) in a different manner than what I was told. In the meantime, I have had to deal with unnecessary financial hardships due to those funds being withdrawn and as to date still not refunded as I was assured would be the case. I sort of had a feeling things were moving a bit too smoothly with them.

    My advice is be cautious when enrolling with them in their debt relief program. While they are aggressive, and the customer service thus far has been good, make sure you follow-up and know what they are doing with "your money". And unfortunately, record everything they promise, and above all follow-up constantly until they fulfill what they say they will do. Lack of transparency and clear communication is my biggest complaint. I literally got three different stories regard this refund (which still has not happened). Good luck

    This started out with me sending a doable amount of money every month. But every time they reach a settlement they want more cash. I will continue with the program only because I am too far into it to back out now. But if I had it to do over again I would have just filed bankruptcy. This program may work for some people but for me it has been a nightmare. Basically what I am saying is if I would have had the kind of money they want I would not have needed them to start with.

    Customer Service is Horrible once they have you!! I can never get through via email or phone call and no one ever calls me back or responds to my emails! I have been with them for a year now, if you think after some of your debt is paid off you will be able to settle more without paying more think again! I am trying to get a debt settled that was not in the original negotiations because I'm worried about being sued but they could not guarantee anything and of course wanted more money just to negotiate!!

    I joined ClearOne Advantage on February 14, 2024, after speaking with a representative who assured me that if I stopped paying my credit cards and enrolled in their program, my credit would go down temporarily but recover within 6 to 12 months. They promised not to take fees until they had successfully settled accounts. That did not happen.

    I paid $4,926 in fees—yet only one debt was settled. The rest remained untouched. My credit score fell into the 400s, and I’ve been left to deal with the long-term consequences on my own. I contacted the company multiple times and even filed a complaint with the BBB, but got no meaningful resolution. I’ve also reported them to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Please think twice before working with ClearOne Advantage. I trusted them with my financial recovery and instead ended up worse off.

    Ms. Harris enrolled in a 54-month program, with (10) accounts. At the time of her cancel request, she had (5) active settlements and (1) satisfied. With regard to her concerns about COA fees, pursuant to her enrollment agreement and federal and state laws, COA only collects its fees after a settlement has been reached, approved by the client and a payment has been made. Canceling the program does not negate the client’s obligation to pay the success fees earned.

    I spoke with Jeremy ** and he was one of the best customer service reps I have ever spoken to. I really, really need this so I hope that by calling this number from the only piece of mail that I got that day really was a sign of fate! I have never done anything like this, I was really thinking about just letting everything go into collections so I would have money to take care of my family with what little money that we have left but Jeremy made me feel like there was hope! I just started, so they have just started "negotiating" so I can't say whether it's really working or not but I pray it will. I will update once I know what way it's going.     Total scam. I ended up settling my own accounts after they collected the fees but didn't negotiate any settlements. Would never recommend!! Communication with this company is terrible. As a consumer, just negotiate your own deals with creditors.

    I was unclear of a charge they were enrolling me in, so I accepted it. It was a medical charge I had no idea about and had insurance to cover at the time. I'm enrolled in less than 10k total. Every debt collectors I talk to said they have not been in contact with them and even if I do pay through them it will stay on my credit score. So I wanted to cancel and pay collectors directly. They had taken more than 2k over the past few months and none of it has gone to my debt. It all goes toward their "service." So I can't get a refund and not a dime had gone to my debt... This had been the biggest con ever. I could have paid that toward creditors and raised my credit score. But now it seems like I just paid for nothing.

    They are not at all transparent with the settlement fees you pay. I'd been better off not destroying my credit and to pay the little debt that I had using tax return as they didn't settle the biggest one. Makes me sad my credit's destroyed and I'm paying just as much by the time I pay the fees. Aadlynim not trapped for another 2 years. I've been in the program for just over a year.

    I’ll start by stating Latavea is a treasure and you should do everything in your power to keep her happy and make sure she never leaves you. All my issues are with your program. If not for Latavea, I would not have enrolled. I realize these issues are industry-wide, I have rejected dealing other firms with higher customer ratings than you. It is bad business not to give customers adequate time to review the lengthy and convoluted signing papers. Even when signing, the document skipped directly to required signatory spots so that I had to scroll back to read what you are asking me to sign.

    This is taking advantage of desperate people in a situation caused by prior bad discussions. The caveat that I may cancel after I sign does not excuse pressuring me to sign unread legal documents. In addition, I would feel more comfortable if your fees were partially based on performance, not just my initial debt. I am risking everything on your ability to perform as promised without some incentive for you get me the best possible deal.
