I have been denied a home loan because of this company. I had to use their services couple years back and had paid it off but they never closed the account on the state database so when I was applying for my home loan I was denied because of an open loan in the state database. Well, when I call to have them update it the database they gave me the runaround and then was told it was taken care of, to call back in 1 hour so I call back 2 hrs later and still no change. They then proceed to tell me it's not on their end, that there's nothing they can do. In this entire process, I had called 28 times, hung up on 3 times and lied to. God only knows how many.

I took out a online payday loan. The loan is due on the 20th (today). They take the payment from my checking account. I called to pay the remainder of the loan and was told that the balance has increased $300 because I did not call them yesterday to draft the entire balance. The payment is due today! I feel taken advantage of. The customer service rep did not satisfy the answer as to why one day is costing me $300.00 I have never had an issue with other companies! Buyer beware!

Went to the store in Palmdale, California, to fill out an application, it took at least 1 hour to finish this process, return on February 28, 2020, to pay on a loan and re-borrow it back again, I work in LA and Live in Palmdale, it was a 2-hour wait just to pay back money I had already borrowed, had to leave and return again and still, it was no hope in getting this transaction done in a timely manner.

I was so frustrated and upset until I left again and came back for the third time and it was only two people to be waited on in this store, I had to wait 20 more minutes for assistance. I have never been to a store and waited this long for a check cashing transaction to get taken care of, so this was horrible!!!! I hope the Corporate office do something about this because this is really bad customer service, and I mean bad!!!! I would of love to do a good review of this place but today I saw this store at it worse. And why is it a person can only borrow $100.00 or $255.00, no in between???? I do not really understand that part. Please fix this problem of the long wait times, because you will not continue to have customers with this horrible system in this store. I am a very busy person and had a lot to do this particular day and miss my appointment because of the long wait time.

I went to cash a check yesterday. I just moved out to the area and the check was $250. $50 more than Walmart would cash. I have never been to a Check and Go. Due to a series of unfortunate events I no longer have a bank account. When I entered the store I was greeted by 2 very friendly ladies. I asked if they could cash my check. She said yes. She took the check, Handed me some fliers about 1.9% check cashing on tax returns and asked if I could give her an outstanding google review while she processed the check. She stopped and showed me how to get that completed and once I did it she told me it would be $16! I thought that was insane but I went ahead and agreed because I needed the money to pay a bill.

She continued to get information and process the check, took my social security number and after several minutes said it was approved but she only had $100 cash and the balance would be on a Netspend card. I realize that At that point I should have left but I had already been there a very long time and to be honest I was sorta in a state of shock. I will absolutely NEVER go to that store again or recommend it to anyone!! I feel like people will falsely read reviews that they had a good experience when it was similar to mine!! I left with only $100 cash and a prepaid card that every time I withdraw money I am charged ADDITIONAL fees!! BAMBOOZLED!!! Do not waste your time. I am so angry and disappointed with check n go. I worked hard for that little $250 and they basically robbed me. Do not use them!!

I received a loan from Check 'n Go on 11/29/2019. The loan was to be paid in full on 12/13/2019; however, I paid the loan in full on 12/6/2019. On 12/23/2019, Check 'n Go had not reported my loan to the DPP as being paid in full therefore, the loan was still showing as being open and unpaid, even though I received an email from them with a pdf of my loan documents stamped "Paid in Full 12/6/2019". It was only after I discovered the error and called them that it was released. It should not have taken 17 days to get this resolved on my end. The customer service agent I spoke with was unapologetic and arrogant and did not even offer a plausible explanation for this error on their end. Do not use this company, there are other companies available that have much better customer service.

I've been a customer for a few years. I started in Santa Maria and they screwed up in putting in my account wrong so I was penalized which it was their fault so I transferred to Arroyo Grande and applied for another loan and everything was was great. Never late. It was always taken out of my bank every pay period which was great because I didn't have to drive to the store to make a payment. Just this month 12/16/19 I check my bank statement and saw they took out two payments at once. I called to ask why and I was told they forgot to take the payment at then end of 11/2019 so that's why they decided to take double payments in 12/2019.

Which I still have another payment due at the end of 12/2019 and I won't be able to pay it because they screwed up in NOV and took out 2 payment now in DEC and April told me two girls who work there had been fired so that's why the payment wasn't taken out. I told her that's not my problem, that's the company responsibility and because they screwed up I have to pay the price and figure how am I going to make this month payment. I'm sure there are a lot of customers that they did this to this month and knowing it's xmas and everybody is on a budget. So in other words April was telling me, OH WELL NOT HER PROBLEM.

I currently have a installment loan through CC Bank serviced by Check 'N Go, I needed to change my due date due to some other obligations, however nobody is able to do so. Now I have to go to my bank and cancel all the automatic debits and pay them another way. Very frustrated they don't have to access to update a due date.

Jennifer, at your Plainfield store, is always polite and professional. She is very efficient and can answer any questions I may have. I'm always treated with respect. It's nice to see the same person at your store when I come in once per month. For a while there was someone new every month. So, it's nice to see Jennifer every month.

I took out a $2000 payday loan from ChecknGo less than 2 weeks ago and when I went on their website yesterday to pay it off, there was no way to do so. I was at work so I did not want to use my break time to call customer service to pay it off so I emailed them instead, requesting the payoff amount. I was giving a total of about $2155 and was advised that interest accrued daily so that amount was only good if I wanted to pay it off “today.” So I responded immediately, around 1pm, authorizing the debit from account. Needless to say, this shady company ignored my authorization and allowed another day to go by before responding! At that time, they advised me that now the payoff amount had gone up more than $20 so my new payoff amount was $2180! Unbelievable! These shady practices need to be more closely regulated to protect consumers.

So i use this product consistently because it is needed until a certain time period. My bills are set up for auto pay so they get automatically charged. Multiple things got charged so i was dollars short for my repayment and it didn't go thru. I wasnt immediately notified about it either and found out just when i went to reapply. I set up a payment to pay it all on the website and it said it was scheduled. No payment ever got charged and it continued to add the days it was due. Then i paid directly with my debit card but while processing, still continues to add each day of being late.

When the payment is finally confirmed (after about 3-5 days) i try to reapply. I can now NOT reapply and their reason is history with creditor (which is them) i was late unintentionally and tried making a plan to which the system confirmed but never charged. Now i cant reapply because of the one late time and like i said im a consistent user. These processes are easy to try to apply but usually denied. Then theres the constant system or communication gaps and now i cant get the help i need. Definitely dont plan on trying again. Thought to share my experience so this gets fixed for the next customer.
