What is Century Support Services?

Century Support Services is a debt relief company that specializes in debt settlement, which involves negotiating with creditors to reduce the total amount owed. The company works with clients who have unsecured debts, such as credit card balances and personal loans.

Clients are assigned a representative who guides them through the program and helps manage communication throughout the process. While the company reports having resolved a large volume of debt, individual results vary based on financial situation and creditor participation.

How does Century Support Services work?

Century Support Services enrolls clients in a debt settlement program designed to resolve unsecured debt over time. If you qualify, you make monthly deposits into a dedicated account. The company then negotiates with creditors to reach settlements for less than the full balance owed.

Programs typically take about 24 to 48 months to complete, depending on your debt and payment schedule. Settlements are paid from the accumulated funds once agreements are reached.

Century Support Services cost

Century Support Services does not publicly list exact pricing. Like most providers, fees are typically based on a percentage of enrolled debt or savings and are charged after successful settlements. Industry averages generally range from 15% to 25%, though actual costs vary.

Charges are not collected until your debt is successfully negotiated.

FAQ

What types of debt does Century Support Services handle?

Century Support Services focuses on unsecured debt, such as credit card balances, personal loans and some medical bills. It does not typically work with secured debts like mortgages or auto loans, which are backed by collateral.

How long does Century Support Services’ program take?

Most debt settlement programs with Century Support Services take between 24 and 48 months to complete. The timeline depends on your total debt, monthly deposits and how quickly creditors agree to settlements.

Does Century Support Services charge upfront fees?

No. Like most debt settlement companies, Century Support Services uses a performance-based model, meaning fees are typically charged only after a debt is successfully settled.

Will Century Support Services hurt my credit?

Debt settlement can negatively impact your credit score, especially if you stop making payments on enrolled accounts. However, resolving delinquent debt may help improve your financial situation over time.

How much debt do I need to qualify for Century Support Services?

Minimum debt requirements can vary, but many debt settlement companies require a significant amount of unsecured debt to enroll. You’ll need to speak with a representative to determine if you qualify based on your financial situation.

Still have questions?

Do we recommend Century Support Services?

Century Support Services may be an option for consumers struggling with unsecured debt who are considering settlement. Its structured program and dedicated support may appeal to some users.

However, debt settlement can impact your credit and fees can be significant. Comparing alternatives such as debt management versus debt settlement can help you determine the best approach for your situation.

I guess I am a dummy when it comes to debt consolidation. I don't if it's me or Century. The customer service is good, however, the math ain't mathing at all. I had to cancel the payments I was making due to hardship. I've been with Century since 9/2025. I had 12 accounts that I placed into consolidation. To date, only 1 of the 12 have been settled. In the meantime, I've paid over $2700 to Century. They basically told me that I am not due anything back, which to me is ridiculous since you've only settled and paid off one account. I am disputing with my bank and have captured Century's reasoning (which makes zero sense) in writing straight from their representatives via chat.

The program worked as they said it would but the user needs to understand that larger debts will be settled last and they will take the longest thus dragging out your program and ruining your credit more. I knew this program would ruin my credit - I did it as a punishment to myself. Because credit card debt has been an issue for me all my life and I needed something that would not be a bail out but teach me a lesson (I have used other companies in the past 2 other times). What I didn’t understand was that it would also affect my spouse's credit because we live in WI.

Overall the program will save you a little money but after paying fees I only saved 13%. Yes they settled my accounts for less than I owed but by the time you pay the fees (settlement fees to Century (these are based on the ENROLLED AMOUNT - not the settlement amount), savings account monthly fees, check fees, legal fees, ect) it’s not saving you much. Large creditors will sue you because no one from century will reach out the them until there are enough funds in your designated savings account to negotiate with them (which takes a while because century estimates needing at least 50% of money to begin negotiating). You will then need to pay for legal defense through Century (they will take care of everything though).

Plus you will get a 1099 for the amount the creditors wrote off (difference between what you owed and what they settled for - meaning you will need to claim it as income so you could end up owing money the next tax season. The program also talks about credit repair at the end - the truth is you can not change or removal actual facts from your credit report - if something is wrong it can be fixed but removing late payments or charged off accounts is not something anyone can do for you. They are very flexible with payments and want to make the program work for you. But it’s not the HUGE savings some expect. I ended up taking a 401k loan to pay it off early so my credit could begin to repair itself and the negative would stop

In the beginning (June 2022), they were fantastic! Super helpful and very engaged. They called me every once in a while to check in. Until... In 2023, one of the highest accounts in my program, failed after Century had made 7 payments. They had over-allocated my funds (I had not missed any payments), and the account dropped and the original debtor sought help from a legal team. I had no idea it was dropped... Century - at that point - had stopped caring and calling me. Last year, early 2025, I was summoned for the full amount. I called Century, and they promised to assist me and send me documents to help me in court. First court date came around, and I had not received anything... No documents, no e-mail, no phone call.

The attorney was very helpful and she postponed the court date to February 2026. I sent an e-mail to Century with all she had said. I got no response at all! Completely ignored. I made extra payments in hopes Century would settle with them before my next court date... My second date came up so I sent them another e-mail with a request for a document to help me out. This time they did reply. They sent me a generic e-mail asking me to call the customer service number... Of course assuming you can talk through the bot first. Not wanting to deal with them already anymore anyway, I contacted the attorney. The lady was super helpful once again! She informed me that Century had not sent them any offers or communications at all in the last few months. We decided to settle it in court (for a deal better than what Century could have offered - minus the fees!).

Moral of the story: The debt is yours! Century will try to profit of your situation. They can't lose, because if THEY fail, the debtors come find YOU! And that's too bad, ain't it? Know that the debtors offer the same deals to individuals as they do to these companies. All they (Century and others) do is take a 25% fee. My program (minus the one I got sued for) will be done in a few months. I'll be happy to be done with them!

Please make sure you read the fine lines. They take a percentage of the total debt, not just the settlement. If the settlement fails because of non-payment they still collect on the whole amount. Please read the fine prints before using this service. They are great at selling you their juice!

Drake asked me how much I could afford a month, when he should have asked how much I need to pay monthly to get my debt paid off. I had 14 creditors and still have 6 that haven’t been paid cause not enough money. What people should do is get with each creditors and come up with own payment plan. I’m going to court on Tuesday and Century hasn’t been able to make a deal. I increased my monthly payments by 400 cause I was told this would resolve the payment. Well Marie negotiator still hasn’t been able to resolve this matter. Century wouldn’t send me times and dates when she reached out to their lawyer. So that tells me she probably hasn’t reached out to them, otherwise, they would have sent me dates and times. If people are thinking of using a debit collection company, you might want to think twice and definitely don’t go with My Century!!!!

Michael, thank you for connecting with your Senior Advocate, Jennifer. With 7 of 14 debts settled over 13 months, your 48-month program is progressing well. While we can’t control creditor collection practices, we keep negotiating actively. The account you mentioned lacked a response from the law firm despite our efforts. We're committed to negotiating your remaining debts and supporting you through the rest of your program.

Customer service has been great. But I wish there was a way that I let the team know some people keep calling me and they’re actually already putting a judgment against me. It’s already in my credit report. I was trying to avoid most of the stuff. They're trying to take me to court as well.

For example, there’s one portfolio that keeps calling me. I called Century and told them about it, and they said they would give the portfolio a call. But the portfolio kept calling me and said nobody had called, unless the portfolio is lying to me and they probably are. But some of the accounts already started going down and payments have been submitted, so that's a plus. That is the goal, so that's going well.

I liked what Century Support Services had to offer and the person on the phone was informative. The enrollment process was a little complicated, but it was understandable. They needed a lot of information, but it wasn't too hard to get it all together. It took a couple of hours for the whole process. The representatives were really available. When I had questions about what I had to get together, they were helpful. They answered my questions, helped me get the information, and supported me along the way.

Working with Century Support has helped me clear things up and opened up funds that I didn't have before. They've been working with creditors that were driving me crazy before and the creditors now stopped and they're working with Century Support directly. The creditors will actually work with somebody if they actually knows what they're doing. I would recommend anyone to go to Century Support.

I was paying some bills and trying to get it done, and I saw Century online. Going through the program was very easy. They took care of me and they're taking care of me. I only had one flaw. They forgot one creditor and they're gonna see me about that, so I hope they got that taken care of now. But other than that, everything is okay. The representatives were available when I needed them.
