Our representative was Robin **. He was so helpful. Even when we thought it would not go through, he encouraged us to stay positive. He always made sure we understood everything. I would most definitely refer relatives and friends to AAG. We tried to do a reverse mortgage 2 years ago but did not have enough equity, but our representative kept in constant contact via email until we were able to start the process. So, I would suggest if you think you do not qualify still contact AAG to see what you can do to qualify and then they will stay with you until you are ready to begin. We are so elated to be done with our reverse mortgage and now can enjoy the traveling that we have not been able to afford to do. So now the fun begins! Thank You AAG!!!

I don't know if it is possible to streamline the Reverse Mortgage process, in light of all the government and legalese imposed sanctions, but it would be welcome! My particular case required over 3 months to process and the clearcutting of 3 acres of old growth forest to provide enough paper (not to mention writer's cramp from signing 3 reams of 8.5 X 11 sheets of paper... in triplicate)! All that aside; the aforementioned negatives were ameliorated to a great degree by my personal AAG representative Ms. Aline **. She took great pains to walk me through the application and processing of this Reverse Mortgage. At all times she was pleasant, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and a veritable joy to work with!

This was the best thing I ever did for myself. My Loan Officer, Bonnie **, was the nicest, most helpful and patient person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was able to explain every step of the process in detail and was always very nice to me when I asked the same questions over and over again. This seems too good to be true, but it is for real and will make my life a lot easier financially. The process is pretty quick and I would recommend it to anyone in need.

It was a wonderful experience working with Kim and Jason throughout the process. They were both professional and efficient. There were a lot of steps and it did take awhile, but I understand the need to proceed cautiously since it is such a major step in someone's life.

Well it would have been a 5 star but it took you guys forever to get this closed. With that aside I was very pleased with the outcome. My Agent, Melinda ** was awesome. She kept me informed all the way through and in a couple occasions went well beyond the call of duty to get things done. I really appreciated that. Thanks to ALL!

They were very professional and helpful. Explained process very well. I could not give them a 5 star because of the time delay in processing the loan. The processor evidently left the company and our file got lost for a while. However; once I called and they discovered the problem they moved quickly to get us back on track.

The sales rep and the closer from AAG were both extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This was the simplest real estate transaction I have ever experienced. I was happy with the result and very relieved that there were no hidden surprises. From application to close was under 60 days, which is what I had expected. AAG is refreshingly customer oriented.

The representative that I worked with was Carol and she was a true professional. She was there for me through the entire process and made sure that I kept up to date with everything. The process was extremely easy with her help. I was out of town when the final papers needed to be signed and she made sure that someone in the local area where I was at brought the paperwork out to me and then returned it to the company. I was very pleased with all of the service and Carol went out of her way to get everything done in a timely manner. She made it all so easy.

Several weeks after the closing I had a question about my property tax not being paid. Left 2 messages for Gail & one for Andrew. No return call at this point so I won't recommend your company or the two people I worked with.

Worked with Britney ** to obtain a reverse mortgage. My work career was in Sales and Marketing and I recognize and appreciate good customer service. Britney is outstanding not only because of her product knowledge but because she is truly customer oriented. She listens to questions and concerns and provides information and answers; even if it is not what you want to hear. She has great empathy and understanding of what her customers are experiencing. I wish I had had more staff like her while I was in business. I will definitely recommend AAG.

It was a tough decision for my wife and I to make, but after visiting with Lara, who is truly a professional and very good at what she does, we decided at this point in our life, it would be the best thing to do. AAG made it easy for us. We would definitely recommend AAG to anyone looking to do a reverse mortgage.

My overall experience with AAG customer service has been negative. When AAG needs something from me they use unnecessary high-pressure tactics and threatening letters to get a response. When I need something from AAG, I am faced with red tape, no call backs, long waits, and disrespect (when given incorrect instructions). I recently requested payoff numbers for Feb and Mar be mailed to me. When they did not arrive, I called. They erroneously emailed them instead (I needed a paper copy). Now the Feb payoff numbers will arrive in March.

I found AAG and its representatives, especially my primary resource, Mr. **, very easy to work with. The entire process was thoroughly explained from the beginning, timely updates in the process were provided and I never failed to receive immediate responses to questions and concerns. I would most definitely refer any friends who might consider a reverse mortgage to AAG.

Our AAG Team led by Daryl ** worked hard with us to obtain the necessary documents for our much needed Reverse Mortgage over a period of 4 months. We were in contact by email and telephone frequently and it has been a good experience in all. We will recommend AAG to friends and family and thank everyone concerned in making this transaction a reality for us!

The reverse mortgage I applied for with your company was a very pleasant experience, there was not pressure in any way and my advisor Caroyln was very pleasant and really knew what she was doing! The whole process was quick and very easy and I have already told others to apply with AAG if they wanted a reverse mortgage because they are very professional.

All the people that I have dealt with at AAG have been extremely courteous and professional. In the course of obtaining our reverse mortgage we have dealt with quite a few associates at AAG and they always had enough time and patience to answer our questions and get us through the process. Teresa ** was the only good employee that kept her word and stayed on top of things for me thru the process. Nadia ** was almost impossible to get a hold of and more often than not call after repeated voice mails for her. It took 4 months to get this transaction completed. I expected better. Teresa was wonderful.

Working with Michele** and AAG was a Team Effort. My specific situation entailed, caregiving for my mother and keeping her/us in our home. I was offered a solution, a breathing space. Nothing in life is perfect, especially in the financial world. This is close to it. Michele kept in contact, and helped me thru the process, she cared. It takes a Team.

I have made numerous attempts to contact you, with no success. I have repeatedly left messages, with no return call. I have yet to receive my "Welcome Kit," or any instructions for using my available funds. HELP!!!

Walter ** was incredibly helpful. The woman who actually processed our application did not return our calls most of the time. When she did call, she was rude and abrupt. I actually had to track down her supervisor on two occasions in order to get her to return our calls. Without the help of Mr. **, we would have cancelled our application.

Here are a few suggestions. First, most people you are dealing with are elderly. Talk a little slower, our ears are old and it takes time to absorb what is being said. Make sure the cost amount is upfront as much as possible so it is not such a shock at the final signing. Return phone calls as soon as possible, again our generation is still in the mode that this is the way business is conducted. Holly was a joy to work with. She helpful and knowledgeable.

Mike ** jumped through many high hoops to get this deal done. The amount of paperwork was staggering and unexpected, as were the complications which arose during the process. Again, Mike showed dogged determination, perseverance, patience and professionalism. We felt like he could be trusted, and he explained everything when asked. We felt that he was on our side through the entire process. If his performance were the only criterion, then a solid five stars would be the proper rating. However, the unbelievable amount of red tape and complexity makes that rating impossible for the overall experience. A reverse mortgage was our best option. It worked for us, because Mike made it happen.

I have contacted many companies regarding this subject and was always disappointed in their lack of knowledge and honesty. I am so glad that I finally chose AAG.

The entire staff at AAG was courteous, helpful and professional. They were presented with some challenges due to the situation my father found himself in, and they came through with flying colors. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

The AAG's representative, business organization, were with me serving as a typical characteristic example of decent and correct in character and behavior, worthy of high regard of respect and deference. The act of answering my application for reverse mortgage into a process of reducing to simpler form by analyzing a complex notion into a simpler ones is appreciated.

It is easy to see advertisements for a reverse mortgage and say "That looks easy, I think I will do that.” As with any business project there is much to do to get from the start to the conclusion. With a reverse mortgage there is an immense amount of information to be gathered in many data areas. There is education for the borrower so that they can understand what the process is and what it encompasses. There are forms and forms and more forms but, it is all part of the process much of it mandated by the government to protect the borrower. This is where a company like AAG works as your advocate. Their professionals work these issues everyday and do make the process easy for you. They not only work with you but with everyone involved and then keep you informed. I found their folks to very professional, courteous and personable. AAG and a little patience will take you to a successful ending.

I received about 8 inch thickness of confusing, frustrating paperwork during the long process. Many of the tables that were provided were inconsistent with previously received tables in format and information and were not easy to understand. The final effect was good and everything worked out well.

It was super to work with AAG. Their representative Michele ** was so knowledgeable and explained every step of the way. I never had to call find out. She stayed on top and called, emailed or text me to keep me informed. The process took 60 days. I have been explaining to everyone I meet about the Reverse Mortgage. It has taken away the fear of not making it thru retirement.

I am not sure how it can possibly take over 60 days to complete a reverse mortgage when everything seems to be moving with no issues. I have responded to every request for information or documents quickly and accurately. I completed the counselling and arranged the appraisal quickly and without any problems. There were no issues associated with the appraisal like repairs needed, etc. I have perfect credit, I was told perhaps the very best score ever seen. How can it keep dragging on? It has now been 45 days since the appraisal was completed and there have been no issues that should slow things down. I am thinking I should have selected a different mortgage provider but I don't want to start over.

I have been trying to get an application completed with people in the Atlanta office. I am an independent contractor for an insurance company and get a 1099 at the end of the year. They keep asking for my W-2 forms. They don't know the difference. I have reached my wits end with them and am contacting my congressman for advice. I'm hoping he can give me other options to try.

The people I dealt with were exceptional. Very knowledgeable and polite and even fun. Thank you all for helping me out. The process took longer than expected, I believe, due to the fact that it's a modular home. Too much red tape!

This experience was made so easy due to the helpful people at AAG. They were so happy to answer any and all questions we had, even during the process. We were taken care of in a speedy fashion. The whole process went very smoothly. We'd encourage anyone to go this route.

Our only refinancing in recent years was a brief and simple refi with our existing mortgage holder - probably signed a total of 5 pages of documents, and spent a total of 1.5 hours of our time. AAG's process seemed very cumbersome and survived only with the assistance of helpful, knowledgeable professionals. I would be remiss if I failed to mention that Linda ** was indeed most gracious and patient, accepted calls at all times and promptly came up with exactly the info we needed. We felt that we would not have followed through without her guidance. We are glad we did!

Would recommend to others, everything went smoothly except the appraiser help us up a little cause she thought she knew more than she did. But after I finally convinced her to do things the way AAG asked for, everything went according to plan. Thanks for all your help Bert. Do have one question, I thought I understood that the reverse mortgage funds were tax free, am I right?

To this point we didn't have any problems. Mario was great. He walked us through everything and if we didn't understand he would go over it until we did. He was very patient and made us feel very comfortable.

I was very pleased with Bryan and the information he provided. I was not pleased with the delay in processing everything. I still do not understand why they needed the information on my condo, which is paid for with no debts of any kind. The delay almost caused me to cancel my application. In the end everything worked out fine.

My representative, Mark ** was fabulous. He was responsive and answered all of my questions no matter how many questions I asked! Everyone I had contact with during the process was friendly, efficient and provided outstanding service.

I assisted my 90-year-old mother with her reverse mortgage application at AAG and am very pleased with the thorough and frequent communication offered by our reverse mortgage professional. There were no surprises from start to finish. AAG's representative explained all steps required to complete the loan and worked hard to accommodate my aging mother's needs. I especially appreciate the personal attention provided to mom. Although mom preferred to travel to the office, AAG offered to send the necessary persons to her home if needed. Our loan agent personally met her in the lobby and ensured she did not have to walk far.

I had heard all sorts of horror stories about reverse mortgages. I had no need to worry. Troy, our advisor, was so easy to work with. We saw Tom Selleck on the TV and things went just like he said. These folks are good.

The people I dealt with were always considerate. My biggest issue was the long time it took to complete my loan. It took months. And some problems were not communicated to me promptly and took weeks to resolve. My agent, Diva **, seemed unable to help me... it was "out of her hands”. Not good management of an account.

I think the interest is too high; I believe I had more Equity, and the final amount allocated to me was not all of it. I should not have to wait one year for the rest of it!! I have requested twice for a statement showing the interest amount by month so I can pay on it so that my beneficiary won't have to when I'm not on this earth anymore. Other than that my experience with Donny ** was very good and he knew his job well.

Good initial dialogue and information in a timely manner. However, the process was very lengthy, and some of the initial estimates on when the process would be complete and the money available were very far off.

From our first contact with AAG, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and efficiency by everyone we consulted with. Our loan advisor, Felicia **, answered our questions completely and succinctly. She notified us when people would be coming to see us, and informed us as to what would be happening. The whole process was comfortable, and happened very quickly. Most important was the fact that whenever I called for information, if Felicia was not available at the time, she would call back right away, and answered all my concerns. We are very pleased with the whole process, and have already spoken to friends about checking with AAG for information on Reverse Mortgages.

Bill ** is an asset to your company. He went above our expectations. He walked us through the process and made sure we understood the different steps it takes to comply with reverse mortgage. He communicated very well with us, by keeping us informed about what would be happening next. He is very kind and professional. Everything went so smooth. If it were possible to have negative stars I would be at least at a negative 5 stars. I can't begin to express the stress and "torture" that AAG put us through. The process started in early October 2016 when we sold our condo and signed a contract to purchase a villa with a closing date of Nov 14. This type of purchase requires a payment of roughly 50% of the purchase price down. Our credit is in the excellent category and we have other assets such as rental properties, 401K, etc. We were told that our original folder was clean and there should be no problems.

I truly appreciate the professionalism, sincerity, warmth, and speed of service and assistance extended to me by Nermeen **, my Reverse Mortgage Professional. She guided me through with patience and understanding. She was always available to answer my questions and inquiry without delay, to which I am so grateful. She made the requirements easy for me to accomplish. She is a gem. I surely will recommend AAG to family and friends. Thank you.

I was totally frustrated with the length of time to process my request, not to mention disappointed. We've had quick and timely responses from Sylvia **, but every time we called to check on the progress we were told, "We're working on it." It took from the end of July to the end of December to finally get a check and at this point I'm not even sure it was worth it. If I had to do it over again, I would find another source other than AAG.

I really really want you guys to know that AAG came thru for it really took a long time to get the ball rolling, but once it got rolling they didn't stop until the end, I finalize every piece of paperwork. Five star is what they get and I had read and heard a lot about them and they met all my criteria. So pleasant and helpful and friendly people (lenders) and etc. that I spoke to. Patience people, understanding people. I just want to say thanks again for everybody that was involved and who had to be paid.

We found that the reverse mortgage process took much longer than we expected or were told. There were many delays and hassles, and we were definitely not satisfied with some of the employees assigned to us. It was frustrating, exhausting, and very difficult for seniors with all our limitations; and we felt that many mistakes were made. However, we finally passed their requirements and received the loan. Rough going!

Obtained reverse mortgage from AAG to pay off home mortgage before retiring. Everything went according to schedule and without problems. Everyone I talked with and worked with were professional and friendly. Timely calls to keep me updated and all my calls were returned same day. Everything explained and all my questions answered. No house payment feels good.

I received excellent service from your agent Sharon **. She was patient in servicing our application during a time when we were dealing with family health issues. Her explanations were concise, clear and to the point. I would highly recommend others to contact AAG when considering a Reverse Mortgage.

We worked primarily with Scott ** and Taylor ** throughout the process and they were both excellent at doing everything they could to make the loan happen. When a judgment against the title in my name for $50 was discovered by the AAG legal team, Scott researched the lien to find that I was not the person the judgment was against. When at the end of the process, certain forms I had submitted were thought not to have been, Taylor did what was necessary to show that indeed they had been. Scott checked with us all along the way to make sure we were good with what was occurring from start to finish, and both Scott and Taylor responded to all questions or concerns we had in a very professional manner. If we ever sell this house and pay off the current loan and decide we want a reverse mortgage on another property, I would not hesitate to use AAG again. And I hope that Scott and Taylor are available to work with us again!

From the very beginning Marcus has been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. At first the loan processor was easy to contact. As the process continued, he became harder and harder to reach. The loan was originally to be a fixed rate interest - the outcome was an ARM which we did not want but felt compelled to continue because of the approval process. The whole process seemed a bit confusing due to the lack of contact.

Very poor communication. I had to keep making contact (leaving messages to find out what the progress was...). I was not given any options and I feel very uncomfortable with the way the process was handled. Once started it took way too long!!

I was disappointed that different people from different departments asked the same questions multiple times. An example, they asked for the closing documents and we sent them three times. Andrea ** was excellent and a pleasure to deal with.

Debi **, my AAG rep, deserves 5 Stars!!! However, her coworkers hiccuped a few times during the process and caused numerous delays. At one point, I was even asked to step in and contact my previous lender to expedite a 24 month payment history. It was clearly their responsibility and it angered me that they would ask this of me! I was told funds would be deposited on a Monday, and that did happen until midday on Wednesday.

When you call them and want to know what is going on with the processor, they never call back and even though we leave a message to call back. We call 3 people that are AAG employees and they don't call back. They don't know the law in WI, and we had to get hold of our state senate. Then she got hold of them and stated the owner could do the work, but they need a purpose to go ahead with our closing, and now haven't heard anything from them. My rating with them is 1 star.

Kim ** was the person who helped me get the reverse mortgage. Without her help and understanding plus keeping me up to date I may have given up. Very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. AAG is just what it is advertised on TV... A new start and fair.

The people who assisted me with my RVM were second to none. They were very knowledgeable of the subject matter and impeccable with their decisions. I'm sorry their names escape me but they know who they are. I'm extremely proud of them and they are definitely an asset to your organization. Thanks.

This was a wonderful experience for me. It is not as complicated as one would expect mainly due to the expertise of the agent handling my account. He checked in with the progress faithfully each week and when other documentations were needed he walked me thru that easily. The only thing I would remind anyone is there will be a lot of documents to fax or email so be prepared for that in advance. My scanner got a real workout!!! I would recommend American Advisory Group to everyone.

Working with Jaime ** was a pleasant experience, he kept my wife and I informed all through the process, ensuring that we understood all facets of the reverse mortgage procedures. The appraisal and the signing of all the documents were in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend AAG and Mr. ** to my family and friends.

The process took too long, almost 5 months. Communication among AAG reps. wasn't always the best. There were times I knew the info. from one rep. and then had to share it with another AAG rep. AAG in-house communication could use some improvement. My loan advisor India ** was pleasant to work with and professional, whether by email or phone.

It was a longer than expected process, however, it was explained that due to our house valuation it would take longer than usual. The frequent forms, telephone calls and dealing with the IRS for information did have cause for concern, however, our agent Brad **, CSA was consoling throughout the process.

Your firm was recommended by my insurance carrier USAA. Initial contact was good, but in succeeding encounters I was shifted to a total of FIVE different contacts, some of which were pretty hard to reach, and most not too informative, with the exception of Lynn **, who is my pick of the litter and the only one who weekly updated me on progress. It was a little confusing on how matters proceeded. You evidently employ several outside firms to perform various functions, requiring me to interface with six different entities, including a bank and law firm, as well as title searchers all over the country. I was not in a financial bind when starting the process, which was noteworthy because it required about 15 weeks from start to finish. Another negative feature was the signing of 50 documents TWICE with the notary public. The upside was we did not have to travel from our home for any of these events. They came to us.

I called AAG and got a very nice person Anthony. He did explain everything to me. Well I had a few more questions after talking to Maria. My house was appraised at a fair price. Anyway I wanted to get a mortgage to pay off some bills and do some repairs to my home. I got a welcome letter saying I was approved for a loan. I did get a letter stating I needed to repair or replace my garage door. Well I decided to get an estimate to replace both doors. The appraiser said my roof was fair. I also wanted to get my roof done with gutters. I got estimates for both. Well it wasn't worded right as they wanted a certain percentage down. Maria called me and told me the contractors had to agree to get paid after job was completed and loan was approved.

My wife and I applied for an AAG Reverse Mortgage late last year and were approved in January 2016. Our AAG rep was extremely knowledgeable, and kept us well informed throughout. I cannot tell you what a relief it was for us to know that we could stay in our house and not be forced to move because we needed access to cash. I have MS and I find myself in the "doughnut hole" as early as April. The cost for my prescription drugs and copays is $8K - $10K per year. Had it not been for the AAG loan approval we would have been forced to sell our home and downsize or find a rental that would lower our monthly costs. We love our home and are eternally grateful to AAG for giving us the a way to stay here and not to have the worries about our budget each and every month.

Very tedious application and approval process over several (~5) months during which numerous e-mails and phone calls reminded unanswered/-returned by AAG; except for one person (Jeana **), other stuff involved seemed to lack professionalism, and/or were overwhelmed by their amount of work to do; RM is registered under two different loan numbers and the tediousness returned when it came to handing back originals of documents (tax returns) provided during the application process.

Chris was by far one of the most professional & thorough person I have worked with in years! I was so impressed with him that I recommended him to my neighbors who are also looking at a Reverse Mortgage.

I was expecting an arduous journey through mountainous paperwork filled with delays, incorrect information, having to repeat several steps involving time consuming telephone calls explaining all of the above. Instead I was expertly guided through each step, explaining to me what to expect and how long it would take. My questions were answered correctly and immediately. AAG turned a complex transaction into a simple exercise.

Services of appraiser (advised inaccurate detector information & omitted response to at least 2 other matters, as advised by AAG) lacked completeness & accuracy. Services of AAG processor were often VERY slow, with questions sometimes never responded. Believe lack of accuracy & processor attention was cause of extremely slow handling of loan. After funding, handling has been good.

Brian is absolutely wonderful. He kept us informed all the way through the process. He never minded answering a question and always was there for us. As a retired loan officer I know the importance of customer service and he always went above and beyond. We are very grateful to Brian to help us through our loan process.

Everything done by Mr. ** in Georgia was outstanding. Very accurate on time and kept me informed every couple days. When folder hit California it was a disaster. Sat on things for days at a time, repeated same questions days apart. Didn't wire transfer funds as instructions even when supplied with voided check for routing numbers. Received hard copy check only holding my funds up more. Outstanding in Georgia but wheels fall off in California division... They keep poor notes for reference on return calls. Misspelled my name on documents. Had to initial corrections for 10 minutes with notary. Too bad Anthony ** wasn't able to handle from beginning to end. He is very good at his job and explains things several times to be sure you understand. He's a great asset.

I was skeptical at first but ended up pleasantly surprised at the great service I got especially from rep Kevin who fielded the many questions I had. This was a new area for me and it came at a good time to be very helpful. I'm glad I went with AAG and would recommend them to others who would benefit from a reverse mortgage.

We had a very good experience with AAG and Milton **. Everything was done in a timely manner, and we never had to leave our home. Even the signing of the application and the closing was done at our home. We were kept informed about the progress of our loan at all times. I would recommend AAG to anyone who was looking for a company to process their reverse mortgage.

The introduction and continued instructions were well handled. All questions were answered in an acceptable time frame. All agents were cooperative and very helpful. I was very pleased with the entire transaction.

Appraisal fee of $499.00 was steep considering he only spent 29 minutes at my house. He did however an excellent and thorough job. I never asked how long the reverse mortgage application would take but think that 10 weeks was a little too long. Satisfied with all else.

The contact people were very polite and courteous. The overall process took 18 full weeks from interview 03/30/2016 to 08/01/2016 to complete. I thought this was longer than necessary. Thanks.

AAG has provided very good service thus far. My only suggestion would be that they update their forms. Specifically, they recently changed the withdrawal request fax number but the request form still shows the old fax number.

Loan Officers made a major assumption that our HOA fees were in arrears and put them into the loan docs. I was not notified that this was done and found it on the first closing. I stopped the closing and brought it to our rep's attention. Because of my great behest the loan company ordered it corrected. The second close went through with fees attached from the error in the first closing. We did receive a refund. After the closing when we had made a declaration that we wanted further transactions sent our bank we received the document back and someone had altered it after closing.

A reverse mortgage is the smartest non-investment a senior citizen can make. No more P & I (save it). Equity diminishes at approx. 4% annually, but the home value appreciates per the market growth in that area. Not a complete wash, but close. Now for the bonus - Line of credit - growth of 5.211%. My equity was just sitting there, and now it's growing (and not taxed!) Cash available when needed. Victor ** was my AAG agent. Very professional. Easy to understand. Humble in his approach to my individual needs. Extremely good communicator. I am so pleased w/ AAG and my reverse mortgage. Thanks so much.

Excellent experience with representative Kyle **. I would recommend this type transaction to anyone, who, as I, have no heirs. I have used the Reverse Mortgage for cash once...at the time of approval.

AAG not very organized on the front end. Could not get in contact with first person who started process. Talked to 2 different people and finally had to talk to manager to find out process and status. Would be nice if you had one case manager to take you through the whole process.

I gave this rating of 4 stars because during the loan I was prompt with their requests of me. At some point in the loan application my rep. left the company and made no mention to me. I was in limbo for several weeks. I then contacted management, as to the problem and was back on track. They expedited my loan and I was pleased once again. All in all I was happy with the experience.

We initially had another company, which put us thru hoops and still didn't help us, then they walked away from us because of ground rent. Anyway, I contacted your company and we were treated with the utmost respect. I explained our situation and your company did everything they said they would. I got a Reverse Mortgage through AAG 7 years ago and cannot say enough good things about my experience dealing with them, especially Bryan ** who was my support through this. His professionalism, patience, accuracy, and understanding was so very much appreciated. I would most certainly recommend AAG to anyone however, am sad that you don't service Massachusetts any longer.

We were told things that the AAG loan officer would do, and then did not follow through. The application process was full of errors by the AAG loan officer and the multiple departments. Therefore, what should have been a 30-day process was over 60-days.

Our closing date kept getting pushed out. We closed almost 4 weeks from our original date. Except for that all went well and the people we worked with were friendly and helpful.

At one point during the process, which to me was in a critical area, I lost contact with everyone and had no clue what had happened. Later learned everyone had gone on vacation without letting me know they were not available and I was left thinking you had dropped me.

Must wait a year for funding then it takes 5 more days to transfer into my bank. Ridiculous!!!

I was not told that I would have to pay mortgage insurance and even at that I was unaware that it was more expensive than regular home house insurance. That's one big rip off.

It took a little longer than I expected but in the end it was just what my wife and I needed to live a comfortable life as soc. sec. is not enough to live on, especially in Calif.

I think Milton ** is one of best agents that AAG has. Very smart on all subjects and very well educated on all subjects. Could ask to work which any body better. If you need to know about reverse mortgages this is the man. Very kind and pleasant, great to work with.

I found the people at AAG to be extremely helpful. They were always there to answer my questions and very clear in their instructions on what I needed to do at each step of the process. I was keep very informed and up to date on the process. I have already recommended them to my friends and will continue to do so in the future. Happy Customer.

The only five-star I would give would be to account manager Ryan **. He is a professional and very good at communicating. Other than Ryan, previous individuals were very poor at responding to my inquiries. Plus, it took five (5) months to finally secure the Reverse Mortgage! Many of whom I dealt with just didn't seem to care. How hard is it to answer a telephone call?

AAG was able to provide a reverse mortgage for me when two other providers could not. However, throughout the process it was very difficult to get information from the agent. Numerous phone calls were not returned and one day he became annoyed at my calls. The fees they charge seem to be quite a bit higher than other providers.

I applied for and received a Reverse Mortgage. The whole process took a lot longer than advertised. From start to finish it took 6 months. Plus I believe the “Closing costs” to be excessive - in my case over $7,000. That is a lot more than a typical bank charges.
