Alleviate Financial Solutions was the best I could get ahold of, after I contacted about eight different ones. Pricing was one reason, but I liked the lady I talked with. She was very honest and open, and wasn't afraid to tell me the ins and outs of what they do and how they do it. She gave me all the information. I told her I wanted it all in writing before anything is done, and she responded that she already did and that it was already on its way to me. That's what I expected. It’s been good, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Everything Alleviate has promised has come to pass. I found myself in a hole I was never going to get out of on my own. I had to put my pride aside and ask for help. Not only did they make the process easy, but they maintained my pride so I could pick myself up and keep this journey going. I cannot stress enough that it is never "over". The process took longer than I expected but Donald ** and Sam ** were both knowledgeable about the service I was signing up for. The only part I'm unsure about is why I need to list loans that are in collections. Also the fact my monthly payment to Alleviate is 44 months at a cost of $419.98 Vs $251 paid to Consolidated Credit Solutions. I am very confident that working Alleviate will be successful.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, the differences between our program and Consolidated Credit Solutions is that while consolidated credit solutions is a debt management program that can only help with the current credit card debts and does an interest reduction plan, Alleviate can help the consumer on all their unsecured debts, ones that they are struggling to pay and ones that have already defaulted, so because more debt is enrolled with Alleviate versus consolidated credit this is the reason the payment is higher as its not an apples to apples comparison . The reason loans in collections are included is because our program is specifically designed to address all of your debts comprehensively—especially those that are challenging or already in default. After reviewing the process and now being in a worse financial situation, I am not seeing the benefit of the program. It took almost two years for Alleviate to save a little over $4000, when I was on track to have all my accounts paid in one year. With the impact my credit score took, credibility with lenders that I can’t get back, and high payment and interest rate with fresh start; I would be paying well over the amount I originally started with before the alleviate program. I don’t understand, I thought this program was suppose to help me. I was told this program would help me pay less and help build my credit score after the program. It was offered, but for an additional fee. It did, but only to now have my debt moved over to another company with a high interest rate. I’m not saying this program won’t work for others, but it did nothing for me. Good luck to all!

After four years and many dollars later, I have finally completed my contract with Alleviate - the people were always pleasant and knowledgeable and took a lot of patience with me. Other than the fact that it cost me a lot of money, it was a successful and rewarding experience.

Excellent service. They were very helpful especially when I received a subpoena. They helped me with all the steps and documents needed to settle with the creditor. I have too much credit card debt, and Alleviate sent me an email or a letter. Getting started took about an hour or two on the phone the first time, and after that, it's all set up and I just have to put money in the account every two weeks. I started about a month ago and it’s a 48-month program.

I got a good response from the first time that I called Alleviate. They explained everything to me about how it worked. That suited me fine, so I just went from that point. The people were great during the enrollment process. They sounded like they were concerned. When you're doing business with people, you can tell if they have some concern about your situation or not. They responded sincerely, that's why I opened up my heart to them. They told me that if anything comes up from my side, I should give them a call.
My program is fine. Everything was supposed to have kicked off the ground last month. But hopefully, by the third month, the business transaction will be made then. Some debtors are still calling me, but the rep from Alleviate told me not to answer the calls, and I didn't have to answer them.

I’ve heard positive reviews about Alleviate Financial Solutions Services, and a friend of a friend uses it, so that's what led me to it. I find the price is not as much as other companies I've heard charge. I'm just starting. My first payment is on Friday. They sent me the information to set everything up. They have a website portal for their customers. Janet, the customer service rep, was very friendly, attentive and informative. She answered all my questions. That's why I took the next step with them.
I'm excited because I know that they're gonna try to help me settle my debt. I didn't even know about their different options to help with debt resolution. I settled for a hardship program, as I felt it would be best for my current financial state. I'm really appreciative of them and would definitely recommend them.

I'm not a big fan of debt relief companies because I see them as scams. They ask for too much personal information, and I don't entertain them. But for some reason, Adam from Alleviate was a good salesperson. He said they’re gonna make deals on my behalf, and all my payments will go into an online account, which I will have control over. He was great. I’m still in the beginning stage. But if it goes as they said and my payments lower down for the next 36 months and my credit score doesn't go as bad as planned and within three years it could be okay again, that would be perfect. Otherwise, I gotta work on it.

I had a hardship going on in my life and I had to put my loan under a debt relief program. The enrollment process was a little stressful though. I got a mail saying they give out a loan for $21,000 and I only have to pay $500 a month. I was thinking that I could afford it and it would have been very helpful. But when I called, I didn’t realize that it wasn’t a loan. Instead, Alleviate does a settlement which I’ve done before and it was fine. This is very helpful too.
I was a little confused at first and I gave the rep a hard time just a little bit. I thought it wasn’t real what he was telling me. I kept asking a lot of questions and at the end of each question, he’d say he’ll get me started. But I wasn’t ready so I was a little nervous. I didn’t know if this was too good to be true or if I was doing the right thing. But now, I’m fine because I see that my money goes into the trust. I can log into it and look at it. Then once the creditors start putting me in collections, Alleviate goes in and make a settlement.
In the long run, the program is going to impact my life drastically. I’ll be out of debt before I’m 40 years old so I’m very happy about that. But I wish it was a loan because you get an instant gratification. With the program, you don’t get an instant boost. But it teaches me that I have to work for it to make it great. It doesn’t come instantly.

Customer service is good. They have called and just checked on me. And they rescheduled payments. It was going to be on the 28th of every month. They made it so that it would just be on the first of every month so when my other bills hit, it can just get taken out right then. So, it's just better for me and they still get paid and we're all happy.
It's hard to tell yet if everything is going according to plan since it's only been a couple of weeks. They're gonna wait till they get half of what I'm supposed to pay before they pay anything. So, there's just a lot of up in the air and this is all new to me. But for right now, it seems to be going well. My only thing was just when I went to my portal, I still showed $0 even though I know they've taken out about $850, which was two withdrawals from it for $425.03 that we agreed upon.
I'm happy with what they're doing here. Part of me was always worried that this was a scam from the get-go, but it seems like they're a legit place.

I got into the debt relief program of Alleviate Financial Services because of hardship. I got married, and I had some financial issues. I got mail from them, and I checked it out online. It was legit, so I tried to give it a shot. I spoke with the agent, and everything seems good to me. Signing up with them took some time, about one and a half hours, but everything was completed in one session. So, everything was smooth.
The first time, everything seemed good to me. Then they were giving me an auto reminder like every day, "Just call. There's a missing document." I tried to reach the office with the number that they provided to me, but I couldn't. The phone rings for a minute or two, and then it says they cannot connect me at the moment. So, it's gonna be like a kind of glitch in the system. But since I do have access online, I haven't seen the need to call. I was just trying to reach out to see the process, where they are at, if they contacted the bank, the creditors. But the quality of service with Alleviate is perfect. It's good.

Alleviate asked me all the general security questions, got my information, and were able to put together a solid plan for me. I didn't have any problems at all. The person that I was on the phone with was very compassionate, attentive, and overall, very pleasant. I haven't had any notable changes yet but I'm sure I will soon.

I did cancel future automatic checks from my bank. I do not want to go to hardship and be in my mind a deadbeat. I have found a refi for first mortgage and card debt at 6.25%. Thank you for your help prior. I understand there is no refund of first payment.

My initial point of contact was very informative, once the process began I was very confused as to my role and responsibilities given the scope of the process, (which is still a little fuzzy). One suggestion would be to include more information to consumers on their roles and responsibilities, timeline of account settlements etc.. The lack of upfront info was a bit disappointing, graphics aren’t straight forward and not helpful, I prefer a straight forward text.

The people at Alleviate Financial Solutions are thieves and crooks. They will not honor their agreements and cannot be trusted. They kept fees for settlements that were not settled. We canceled the program and they still kept the fees for deals that never went through. They also tell you upfront about a debt consolidation loan, that they will not actually give the client. Be careful because what they say on the phone and what they actually do are not the same. I would highly suggest you do not do business with Alleviate.

I got a call from Alleviate, and it was pretty much my last straw. I had to use credit cards to pay forthcoming bills with and with the interest rate that it was, it was shooting my foot. Setting things up with Alleviate was extremely easy. I was listening to them. And by the figures I was given, I would have been 96 years old by the time I got the particular amount of debt paid off. With them, it was only $20,000 something worth total. And with the interest rate, it's set up to where you can never catch up. So, the way Alleviate has got it lined out, it was a whole lot easier for me to go that route than it would be to continue on the path that I was. I was paying roughly anywhere from 850 to 1,000 in credit card debt every month. And now, I'm paying 482.
I'm only two and a half months into the program. They got a portal set up where I can review everything that's going on. And if I have any questions or concerns, I can reach out. They'll answer everything best as possible, and it's extremely convenient for an individual like myself. If somebody is in any type of debt situation with trying to get consolidation going, I would highly recommend Alleviate.

We had a bunch of credit that we needed to pay off and Alleviate was one of those that sent me a deal in the mail. The rep I spoke with on the phone, Charles, was nice. He was pushy though and I didn't know if I wanted to do it or not. But other than that, he was concerned about me doing it to pay off them so that wouldn't take me so long to pay it off. It was a great experience with Alleviate but we cancelled the program. They kept taking their time to do it and they said it would be three to four months before they could get it under control. I was antsy about it. All the bills were coming at me and I would just pay them when I could.
The first time I called Alleviate, they didn't even take out the money that they needed to until the end of the month. They were supposed to take it out on the 4th so that delayed them doing anything. By that time, I owed them another payment. The customer service did not get back to me. We finally got the check back that we had first written them and it took them a while. But if it had not been like that, I would have probably gone ahead with the program.

It would cost less on a monthly basis to go with Alleviate than to face my debt on my own. I consolidated my credit card payment through them but I haven't seen any support yet. I received emails and phone calls from the credit card companies, and I have forward them to an email. But I've only gotten a docket response, so far. I would like to hear from Alleviate about what they have found out, but I haven't yet.

I was putting an end to my credit card debt and connected with Alleviate. The program will go into effect in November. It’s for three years, and I'll be paid off with the debt. It's a lot better than the payments I was sending to the credit card companies. Some of their interest rate were outrageous. I've already recommended Alleviate to a friend.

Alleviate Financial called me, and I talked to them about how to take care of some of my bills and help me with my credit. I haven't been able to pay them, and it's affected my credit really bad. Alleviate is helping me get this taken care of so I can get my credit back. The rep explained the program to me really well. She answered all my questions and was really nice and very informative. The company is very helpful by offering to break up my monthly payment into two smaller amounts. One problem I have had was trying to change the dates the monthly payments come out. It was frustrating to get the person to understand what I wanted to do. We settled for particular days every month.

The first person that I spoke to explained everything and the next person that spoke to for verification seemed knowledgeable. At first, it was hard to understand the second person because she talked so fast and had an accent. I had to keep telling her, "You need to slow down. I can't understand what you're saying." She finally slowed down and I could understand her. My concern was how badly was it gonna affect my credit. They said, "The first three months, it has to show that you're delinquent. After six months, you should start seeing the turnaround." I asked what that meant and they told me that as long as I'm making the deposits into Alleviate and they get with all my creditors, then my credit should start to rebound.

I found Alleviate Financial on Credit Karma and the program itself would have been great if I was in a position where I couldn't pay my bills and I was already there. However, it's not what it was represented as. They weren't clear during the enrollment. They said, “We'll reach out to your creditors to get deals worked out.” What they didn't say was after people quit paying their creditors so long, they're desperate for it. I was under the assumption that Alleviate Financial worked with the creditors, not against them. I have since canceled everything because I didn't realize it was just letting everything go in collections. But the second girl who called to walk me through everything, Maria, was amazing.

Alleviate Financial Solutions explained everything. I didn't understand everything, but they explained it. It makes sense. And we're moving on. The only setback is I gotta wait in line on the phone. I understand that. But they have a system where when I call, if I couldn't get through, instead of holding the phone for four hours, they would call me back and they would. I used it twice today and they called me back and went over whatever problem I had and there was a plan for it. Also, they have sent me emails from the bank where my money would go to. They sent me emails from the legal department in case I started to get all these calls from not paying my bills. And they told me to forward anything that they might send me in writing to them. That's a lot of potential and they got an A+. But we still got a long way to go.

I'm a widow who owns a house worth over a million dollars, cars all paid for, and no bank would give me the reverse mortgage. They wouldn't give me a home equity line and it didn't make any difference what I do because I'm a woman in our society and I'm 74. And that really irks the crap out of me. So, Alleviate's rep, Jacob, and I talked. And we're going to pay off all my credit cards that I ran up helping what I thought was a friend because she had dementia and neither her family or the court would take care of her. So, now I have to pay them off because she's now suing me for $10 million. I've been dealing with Jacob and I feel comfortable with him. I email him all the time and ask him for things. And he responds.
But I'm a little confused right now. It’s like you're thrown out there and then nothing. The program also terrified me, but it’s just the process. It hasn't been that long and I have so much going on. I'm still in the beginning of the process. There's a service called Forth where they put the money in a savings account in my name. I make two deposits a month, then we'd go from there. But the initial phone call that I got from whoever it was did not do a great job. because I got no information. And it took them a whole bunch of time to even get stuff to me. So, Jacob had to send it to me.

I was trying to get a loan and Alleviate talked me into a debt consolidation. I make a payment to them every month then they deal with the creditors and get the balance lower. And then they pay my debts off. I had done that before, so I knew what it was like and it wasn't a surprise to me. They were very helpful as far as answering my questions and I know it'll work out. But if a friend asked me about it, I'd tell him, don't do it. It was not what we wanted to sign up for and they pushed that on us instead of a loan.

I called them once with some questions when I first got logged in to my account, and they were very professional and helpful. They put me on a debt restructuring program. I signed up with Alleviate and it was easy. The customer support was very good too. They were very easy to deal with and they explained the program very well. They asked me first. “Can I go into your credit history and see what you're late on or what you owe on, how much?” They then gave me an amount that I could be paying instead of what I was paying and it was up to me whether or not I wanted to do it. It sounded good to me ‘cause it was a lot less than what I was paying. They just took the first payment out, and I haven't started paying on the bills yet.

Signing up with Alleviate was fairly easy. Their reps helped me set up the repayment program so I can get out another debt load. Corey called me up and they got me going the next day. I gave them my first payment last week and so far, I'm fine with the program. It's juts that I've been getting all these nice calls from the credit card companies and I've been giving them the phone number to Alleviate.

When I was looking to do debt consolidation or a loan to dig myself out of the hole, Alleviate contacted me. I'm a sensitive person, so I pay a lot of attention to tonation and metaverbals, and the rep was being friendly in a relaxing way. They set up a program where I'm paying into an escrow account in which they collect the money then contact the creditors and work on a solution. Overall, it's been positive experience. They're a group of people that have the knowledge to help with certain situations and their fee to do business isn't that bad.

I had some financial stuff going on that was getting worse. Alleviate was calling me and I decided to have a conversation with them. I signed up for their debt resolution program and the process was straightforward. It was three days total but some of that was me. I wanted to do my research first. The enrollment process was very informative and easy to do. They walked me all the way through it, which was great. They made sure that I had a complete understanding of everything. The rep broke down how it was gonna be. They would get in contact with my creditors and have a conversation with them by setting up a program. I would pay them a certain amount per month and with that, they would take care of those creditors. They would work with them to get a better rate for me to make sure that I'm not getting overcharged for those debts that I have at the present time.

I've been trying to get through to the old people who had my account several months ago but they weren't answering my questions nor getting back to me. So, I was happy when Alleviate called. I asked questions and they answered. They were great when I kept asking the same question because I wasn't sure I was understanding. So, they were patient, which I appreciate. I was confused and they could sense that it was very hard for me. They took their time and they understood. When I said I'm gonna have to think about it and I'm gonna have more questions, they told me to call back. And when I did, they were there and answered my questions. I followed their instructions calling 5 days before my first due date to have it changed. After getting options & asking to cancel all together, I was transferred to another rep. I was given more options & told my due date would be pushed out 2 months from Sept 25 to Nov 25 & they would see about a lower payment to start with. So I agreed to stay enrolled. Today I wake up only to find nothing was changed & they drafted the original payment from my bank leaving me overdrawn once it clears. I called soon as they opened only to be told there is nothing they can do now to stop the payment till it is processed. I then called my bank only to find out that due to the way it was sent through they can not stop it either. Instead of helping with my debt they've only made it worse.

I went through initial welcome process to include setting up payment arrangements. Left call with Aileen ** thinking it was all set. After trying to log into my account but unable to validate, I wrote in to the “help” email provided by Aileen but never got a response. After bank draft did not occur, I called in to see what was wrong. Another agent advised I had not been enrolled but didn’t see any open items. She advised another team would call to finish enrollment. 5 days later they never called. I sent another email but never got a response. Only got response after submitting CFPB complaint due to me not paying my bills and their failure to follow through with enrollment.

The rep I spoke to yesterday was very informative and knowledgeable about how to handle my financial situation. However, I found her tone slightly condescending as she kept implying “per your welcome packet” as if I had memorized the packet and every detail. All other interactions have been pleasant with other agents. I do not like the portal layout and system and that it is not called Alleviate.

I heard about Alleviate Financial through my boyfriend who has used them before to get out of a sticky situation. And I chose to use them because the initial call that I got was pleasant. It didn't seem like there was any runaround like a couple of other companies that I had spoken to. So, it seemed much more transparent and straightforward with how the fees are applied from what I pay. My total debt is $8,200 and Alleviate took what I'm paying now. So, all my bills together are 345 a month to pay all three cards. And they got it down to 299 a month. That's not a huge difference, but for me, it is. It helps me immensely monthly. It also helps me because before I called, I was paying the minimum payment, which was paying the interest fees that came every month. So, the card debt was never going down. From my notes, it sounds like there is no more interest building. We're just paying down what's owed.
I have the client portal and I can easily get on it. There are two different ones that I've now signed up for, one with Alleviate and then one with an affiliate to their company. I can look at what's going on with the account, make the payments and upload documents. It's simple. Alleviate is incredibly easy to work with and they work with us very well. I was listing, down to the paper products, toilet paper, and paper towels that I buy for my house, and they take into consideration every financial burden to come up with plans for people. The people that you talk to treat you like a human instead of just another account. But once I'm paid off, I'm never getting back into debt again. It's too hard to manage with the interest rates.

I have compounding interest on credit cards that I can't seem to get out from under. I called everybody and the person that I dealt with at Alleviate was very nice and proactive, while the other ones didn't call me back. So, I went with Alleviate and applied for a debt consolidation where they will try to reduce the interest rate on my credit cards, so I can get them paid off. Their rep asked me a bunch of questions then she ran a soft credit pull. We decided which accounts they were going to handle for me, then I got a welcome packet and signed up for that.
After that, I set up my account online to make my draft into that account to start building that fund, so that when they settle with the insurance company over some interest, we can start making payments to the credit card companies. So far, my experience with Alleviate has been really good. If they can save me the money that they're going to try to, then the price will be worth it. They said they have a 56% success rate, so we'll see.

There was a phone call that I answered out of the blue with some company, and they were trying to get me a loan for my unsecured debt. I chatted with them. They couldn't help me, so they referred me to Alleviate. They put me in touch with somebody. I stayed on the phone for at least over an hour for the enrolment, but it was all explaining everything that would happen. It was easy. The guy was really knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and it was helpful. At the end of it, I didn't have any pending questions or was not understanding anything that was gonna happen. So far, so good. My first payment went to them today. After the payment, they'll start contacting my debt holders and then start negotiating with them. So if people start calling me or try to arrange other things, I'm supposed to let them know.

I lost part of my job and I wasn't making enough money. I called Alleviate and going through their program, it doesn't make me feel as bad and as guilty not paying what I owe people. But at least, it's helping me out and it's still paying them in the long run. And that makes me feel better. I believe that you are your own responsibility and you need to take responsibility for your actions. Alleviate's reps were very nice. Alicia was amazing and she walked me through what the program was. When I was still very nervous about it, I talked to her manager and she walked me through the process as well, letting me know the way they do certain things. They explained that the creditors were still getting paid, but they weren't getting the interest on top of everything else. I was very scared about it but Alleviate's reps calmed my nerves.
My biggest thing was my credit score going down because that is one of the hardest things, to be able to know that you're good for a minute then all of a sudden, your credit score drops. And if an emergency happens and you need to have credit but you don't have it, Alleviate also assured me that it wouldn't take long for me to build my credit back up to where it's currently at. What impressed me the most was that they actually just wanted to help. But this is just the beginning of my debt settlement. So, we will see how it goes in the future here. If you're struggling and you need the help, go with Alleviate. And even if it's something that you decide not to go with, they will listen.

It was very pleasant with the rep. We had constant back and forth in regards to me asking him questions and him explaining things to me fully. I’m still a little confused, though. I don't understand when it comes to them telling me I am not supposed to make any payments to any of the creditors because they're in the process where they're negotiating a payment back to them. They told me that within 48 months of paying off the amount that they said, I would satisfy whatever I owe and within six months, my credit score will go down. But it'll rise back up once they negotiate with the creditors and start to pay them out of the money that I put into the secure account.
If you're dealing with a lot of debt and you would like to see how you could try to manage it in a more constructive way, Alleviate is worth a try. If you have seven credit cards, and you wanna put five in this program and try to maintain the other two on your own while they try to figure out the other five, that's something that will work. But if you have seven and all seven need to be in here, I wouldn't advise you to do it ‘cause now you don't have any credit at all.

I talked to a debt relief specialist and they told me what could be expected, I can determine right then and there if I was interested, and if I was interested, we'd be able to proceed. After that part, we talked to the welcoming team. The rep has been decent in calling me back if I call and we miss each other's phone call and the price is reasonable.

I got the ad in the mail and Alleviate Financial made the quickest offer. The enrollment process was very easy. After I talked to the representative, she gave me the information. She emailed the paperwork and I signed and returned it. There were a few more conversations for confirmation. They set up a dashboard, which I haven't looked at yet, which allows you to check your progress. But mostly, it’s by phone calls and emails. Financially, working with Alleviate has helped me very much. Mentally, I’m not as stressed. I don't have to worry about money and now, I can manage my budget on the budget they set up. So, it's been a positive experience. It made my financial situation easier, more balanced and manageable.

I was contacted by Better Debt Solutions to get me signed up for Debt relief. At first, I thought it was a great idea until I found out they wanted me to purposely default on loans. I've never defaulted on loans, so this was a bad idea for me. And for the hardship reason for getting debt relief, the agent marked a box that said it was because of "significant expenses for children". The problem there is I don't have children. I found this part of the experience to be negative and cancelled immediately. You have to beware because you are only given a small window to cancel to program. Even after I cancelled, I still had to have my bank put a stop payment on a withdraw they were trying to make. If I was younger, this might be worth the risks. I am more upset with myself for rushing the process. The people working for Alleviate were obviously very nice. I understand. I am not sure if this company is legit or not, but my message is to be careful.

The offer that I found through Alleviate to consolidate all of my stuff together was fairly cheaper than what I was paying monthly for all of my bills and fees. Also, they said that if I had legal actions that collectors were trying to come up with, they would be there to help me through that process. I spoke with them on the phone for a good half an hour and they answered every question that I had.
I told them straight up that I was trying to make sure that this wasn't a scam and they were very understanding of that. They were patient with me, gave me the option to give it a couple of days and think about it, and gave me direct numbers to call them back. I wasn't going through another person and going through the whole process over again. I was able to call and speak directly to the person that I’d started the process with to finish it. Also, they were real good at making me feel comfortable with going ahead and doing that. The whole application process took an hour.
Everything's been great and I'm 100% happy with the autopay. The only thing is they came to a settlement with one of my debt collectors and I wish that I could get a little bit more communication on where we're going with the other few that I have, have they been contacted and that kind of stuff. I still am getting phone calls from those other debt collectors, trying to get me to pay them, even after I told them that I'm working with Alleviate. I'm curious as to where Alleviate is at with contacting them. But when they did get one debt collector to come up with a settlement with them, they were real good at calling me and going over it with me.

It's been going great with Alleviate Financial Solutions. It started with me trying to get a loan from someone else and they transferred me to Alleviate. The rep's name was Caleb. He put up all my information, got a total of what I owe and he gave me some different payment plans. He had a lot of information for me and wasn't rushing anything. It was no pressure with working with him.
I was told that before I started, my credit would drop. That's the only thing that I have been upset about but eventually, I'll see it go back up. I would still refer someone who's really in need to Alleviate. I've told my stepmom about them and how it works. They have been very supportive. I still had some credit card companies calling and I would give them Alleviate's information. I haven't heard from them since so they're doing their job on their end. I had over five credit cards which was over 10,000. My payment comes on autopay. I tried going to their website to pay more on to it, but I needed to reach out to someone because I didn't see how to make a extra payment.

I was with Alleviate for long. It was necessary because I had a lot of medical debt and I needed to consolidate my credit cards. Upon enrollment, they got my credit card information and set it up. Their customer service was fine. I had no problem. Plus, I could call them anytime and talk with them.

Alleviate wasn't totally bad but they were not very informative. I was dissatisfied with their pricing and the lack of forthcoming information. Their fees were extremely unfair or outrageous. I was with them for a couple of months and they barely settled two accounts. I’m with a different company now.

After comparing three companies, I went with Alleviate's debt resolution program based on what they said they could do. So far, they kept true to their word. Their enrollment process was simple. I did the online information, and then they reached out to me. We had some conversation and then we submitted everything. While the program hadn't made any changes so far, we're working through the process.

Enrolling with Alleviate was thorough, which I didn't mind because I knew it wasn't a racket. But I don't know why my payment wouldn't go through. I had $310 in my account twice and it has bounced. So, I'm confused. I thought I needed 309 and some change, but it kept bouncing every time it would go in. So, I would get charged again. But Alleviate is settling some stuff. I always get right back to them when they call or email about settling one of the accounts. It has been fine.

Alleviate Financial Solutions trashed what we had left on our credit reports. It put my husband below 500. And I'm barely above 500. We were over 600. Alleviate made us wait for three months before they started doing anything. They said we had to get severely delinquent. We have been paying on time or close to on time. It wasn't hurting our credit. But we just had a lot of it and we needed to get some of it down because we were moving and my husband wouldn't have a job paying as well. So, it was imperative we get our payments down. And it trashed our credit report. But Alleviate handles it. They get some of the debt taken down. And we pay them off. They give us a monthly payment. It's a set amount that was less than what I was paying. I was happy about that. They have negotiated with two of the credit cards to lower the amount due. And they have stopped the credit cards from calling us.

Alleviate has done an excellent job so far. I needed to get rid of some of my debt and they were the best one that offered me a good way to do it. They negotiated about four of my accounts so far in a short period of time since March. They were right on top of trying to solve some of the debt solutions. They did a great job of making me understand what was going on and what we needed to do. Alleviate is excellent.

Alleviate Financial is trying to pay off some of my bills. There's still one outstanding credit card they haven't paid off yet and I'm waiting on it. Other than that, they answered whenever I asked questions.

The letter that I got in the mail indicated that it was going to be a loan at a lower interest rate to pay off my debt but that wasn't what it was. It was more like, "Hey, look over here. This is a product we want to solicit to you so that you can call." On the initial presentation, after I got through the part where I knew that it wasn't going to be a loan and it was going to be more of a debt settlement, I still needed the assistance so I went ahead and went through it. The initial consultation met my expectations. They told me the debt I have, my current FICO score, and what it's going to look like if I pay it off without the service and if I utilize the service. I was able to see a significant savings over the term that I'm in the program so that was good. We signed up all the accounts that I had and I signed up for the payment withdrawals to come out of my checking account.
Where I started to have problems with Alleviate was under the settlement program. They were taking $300 a month out of my account. They were loading this money up and they would get a settlement offer from financial institutions. I had two issues with that. One, they would make no attempt to negotiate the settlement offer. If a company sent a settlement offer of 80%, they would just accept the 80% and come back to me with.
Second, I had a Capital One account and they were offering a settlement of 50 cents on the dollar. The money that Alleviate had on my behalf was enough to pay that settlement for two days. But they wouldn't accept the settlement in full. What they made the creditor do is break down that installment over six months. I have to set them up over that amount of time so they can continue to collect the fee from you over the months. They ended up taking about $1,500 from me settling one account for $300 and then sending me a refund check of $400. All in all, I paid $700 to settle a $300 balance so that they could take their fees.
They're operating out of a situation that's not in my best interest for the purposes of collecting money from me and I'm their client. Also, when I initially joined the program, they didn't want me to tell my creditors that I was with them. They wanted me to continue fielding the collection calls and for over a five-month period, I couldn't answer my telephone because every phone call was a creditor.
They weren't doing anything for me that I couldn't do for myself and it was an easy way for them to take money from people who are in debt. I had a $6,900 balance with a creditor. When I joined them, that balance was $4,000. Alleviate called me and offered me a settlement of 60 to 80 cents on the dollar and they requested that I increase the amount that I'm paying them on a monthly basis. I couldn't accept the settlement.
I finally closed out from them a month ago and I just got the refund check in the mail last week and I've been doing it myself. I've been able to get settlement balances at a better rate than they have because I've simply said to the creditors, "Thank you for this offer, but this is what I have. Can we work from there?" Just simply having a conversation with them and I've been able to save myself money. So I feel like Alleviate stole money from me. It was the most frustrating experience I've ever had dealing with a company. I wouldn't recommend utilizing them.

I paid everything off very early but spent six months fighting Alleviate to finish it. They did not negotiate with one of my accounts and the only reason it was negotiated was because I called them twice a week. They let it fall off the radar and I had to beg them. I had to send email after email and make phone call after phone call to get somebody to deal with the one last account. Then they still charged me for that when I received a negotiation from the credit card company. The reps were always polite but I never had any support. They never did anything they said they were going to do. I started making them put everything in writing and in emails. I was very unhappy with Alleviate and would not ever refer them to anybody.

Alleviate was good. I was with another company, but it was taking them too long to settle my debt. Alleviate promised me they could do it fast. The enrollment process was simple and it was under 10 minutes. I had done it before with the other company, so I knew what I was looking at. They started the process of paying things off in a couple of weeks, and the reps were very helpful. They did exactly what they told me they would do, and they called on a regular basis as opposed to the other one I was with. I felt really comfortable with Alleviate. It was easy, and now, I'm done with the program.

Enrolling with Alleviate Financial Solutions was very seamless and simple. The gentleman was very helpful in the whole process and it was very quick. Everyone that I've talked to has been nice and welcoming. Having debt is a stigma. I felt ashamed. So talking to everyone, it has been very helpful and they understand that I'm trying to get my life together. If you are someone who's not the most tech-savvy or who was a bit older, you might run into a couple of issues because the app is something that is pushed towards the call. You might have issues integrating yourself into setting up automatic payments. But being a younger person, I loved it.
I had a lot of debt and Alleviate slashed it. It has worked amazingly. It's always great to pay less money. My life is a lot more on track just because, having that cloud of debt and trying to figure out how to pay it off, it's gone. My payments per month are now very manageable with my paycheck. If you're serious about consolidating your debt, you should 100% give Alleviate a call and ask for assistance.

I was needing help to get out of my bond. I spoke to Frank at Alleviate and he was quite helpful in making me understand the process. They negotiated for lesser fees. After it all got started, it was frustrating. Getting the information I really was looking for was not that great. They called monthly to try to give me an update, but it was just somebody reading a script. In the end, they did what they said they were going to and I'm glad I'm done with them. But if I was asked if I'd do it again, I'd say I would go with a different route. If somebody was seeking their services, I would point them in a different direction. Alleviate was pretty fee-heavy and that was something I really wasn't aware of initially. So, I tried to scramble as much as possible to get out of it. And one time, they had more or less tried to make an offer for a loan to pay it off, which was totally ridiculous.

I called several different places and Alleviate was the first one that contacted me back. I was trying to get out of some debt. I did a consolidation and it was a good experience. They talked to me at least once a month. Sometimes they would call twice a month. Every time I had questions, they answered them. I like the service. If it ever happens again, I will go back with them.

I liked that I was able to consolidate my debt in the end and get a loan for a rate than I wouldn't have before and that at least closed out my overdue account. I would recommend Alleviate. They called me on a biweekly basis but it was a different person each time. I didn’t like that I had to start all over again with what was going on and they were not as helpful as they could have been with court cases. I submitted my documents to them and, apparently, there was a different portal I was supposed to use, but I had no idea. I used the website to upload documents and it wasn’t very user-friendly.

I've taken many notes from day one since we started talking to Alleviate. We had a guy named Zane who we first started talking to. He was awesome. He was so professional and made us feel like we knew him. We felt comfortable giving all our personal stuff. We told him everything about our life. He said that if you live in the state of Alabama, and if you've made every payment from that first one on and never lied, which we were not, then we could qualify for some kind of program. But then when we got on into the program, we couldn't get it for whatever reason. Also, we never talked to that guy ever again after that. He turned us over to everybody else, and we've called him. We never could get him again. We were told that we could call him for anything to ask any questions or if any problems came up. We've gotten other people and it's somebody different all the time.
I don't think they reach out enough to us as far as calling every week. They may be doing an email but to me, that's not enough. Sometimes, you just wanna know where you stand with stuff. And in the past, we've had to make different phone calls to them to say, “Hey, what's going on?” Or “We need to know how much is in the account, or what we paid down, or how much longer.” We were told upfront something that was not true with Alleviate that I don't like. But we had to go through them. Otherwise, I don't know how we would have ever gotten ahead.
Our goal is to get all these creditors paid. We get a text every once in a while saying that they had an offer. For instance, we got one on April the 15th on a Monday. They said, “This is Alleviate with an urgent and time-sensitive message. Congratulations! You have an offer for a settlement.” It told us who the creditor was. Then it said the last four numbers of the account number, and it told us what the balance was and the settlement amount. Then it gave us a breakdown which was the same amount of what the settlement is. It said the due date, and it said, “Reply with a yes.” We did that. Our payment amount did not change on that particular one, but a time before that, we had to up our payment again from a certain amount that we've been paying every month. They said in order to pay whatever that consumer was, we had to pay them more that month. We thought, “Well, we'll do it in order to go and get this stuff paid off.”
I'm hoping and praying that what we signed up for is legit. I'm hoping that my husband's credit thing is gonna go back up and it would be straightened back out. We knew it was gonna go into this and it wasn't gonna be good for a while, but we were hoping for a better and faster outcome when we get done with it. So far, we're ok with Alleviate. We just wanna see some more stuff paid off and at least know that we're getting closer to being completed with the program. I wish they would touch a base with me every now and then and let us know where we're at. I wish for better communication. To me, the number one key in a good business is the communication. All else will fall into place, but communication goes a long way especially with older people. The communication is just not where it should be.

Alleviate was very transparent, always helpful and quick to get answers to questions. They gave me a lot of good advice and made sure that I was aware of things that I may have needed to do on my end. They were right there with me through the whole process. I finished the program early. I just got my close-out package from Alleviate showing that all my debt had been paid off. That was a nice letter and package to get. It's like a diploma you wanna hang on the wall. I am satisfied. The numbers are going in the right direction and I have seen an increase in my credit score. However, their client portal is wonky. While I could see the status of my debt and see which ones have been settled and which ones were being negotiated, it always seemed whenever I needed to upload documents, I couldn't attach the documents. Alleviate could do well by getting an upgrade on their portal and give the user a better experience.

Alleviate Financial Solutions was able to bring down my debt. We planned a period of time where I was able to pay it off and get the settlements for me. They did the program exactly what they said they were gonna do. They were very personable. They gave me a representative that I dealt with all the time. Customer service was very good. They were very accessible at any time. They would call and check up to see if we know what was going on, or if we had any problems or questions. Overall, they worked until they were able to get the settlements for the different credit cards and debt that I was involved in. They didn't say, "Oh, no. We're gonna only take six months or it's gonna take two years." It was quicker than I thought.

The deal that Alleviate offered was better than what I was paying. I switched to them and every time I needed to know something, they gave me a direct answer. I had one lump sum loan that they took care of. They stuck to the date that they said. It was confusing in the beginning but afterwards I understood.

There were not a lot of details given that should have been given, like when Alleviate Financial Solutions negotiate a bill down. In the long run at the next year, I gotta pay taxes on everything that wasn't paid off. That was never disclosed to me. I got a $3,000 tax bill. They just said if I owed somebody 10,000, they could get it down to 6,000. But I would still paying taxes on that $4,000 that I didn't pay off. I should have asked that question, but I did not think about asking a question like that. Other than just getting me to a lower payment overall, I'm not satisfied with anything that happened.
They have a website that I could go to or some people that I could call. But I would not go through anything like that, so I didn't know the right questions to ask. That should be part of their program, to initially tell me that. "We're gonna negotiate a settlement down for you. But you're still going to be responsible for what's left." It helped out of having six different payments and got it down to one. That made it a lot better at that point. But at the end of it, when I got this tax bill, "Wait a second, if I just paid the whole thing." I've been at the same spot as I'm now. I'm glad it's over and done with. But if I had to do it again, never. Because of that tax stuff, I'm not sure how much I saved in the long run.
