They gave us a lot of knowledge and helped us out every which way they could. My rep Justin was great. He gave us updates every day when things were being processed. Justin needs a raise. I love 21st Mortgage. I'm very pleased and I'd definitely recommend them.
Working with them was pretty good. It was an online thing so it was slow and nothing local. But they were always super helpful. When I contacted them, they contacted me back. But the rates suck. Other than that, if you're gonna buy an odd trailer, go with 21st Mortgage.
The absolutely worse experience I have EVER had. Took 2 months to close. Horrible communication. Rates are outrageous! Was told if I paid my insurance in full it would lower my monthly payment. Discovered insurance is mandatory in my monthly payment. Can't wait to pay this off.
21st Mortgage really helped me to get a loan. There were a lot of mortgage companies that wouldn't do it. I was buying a property and got a special program because it was a modular home on the property. I gave them a call and then I found my title company and it all worked out really well. I worked with Chris. We'd give him a call. We're in a different time zone than what he was in, but that wasn't too bad. I just call him early in the day. He did a great job. Whenever we had a question, he got right back to us. I had a good experience with 21st Mortgage. So, I referred them to my aunt. She's buying a house down the road and she ended up going with 21st Mortgage.
The reps were way on top of things. Everything went smoothly and quickly. I was very surprised because I've been trying to buy a house for a year and nobody actually listened to what I was saying, but the reps from 21st Mortgage did. So, I can't be happier. I'm not too particularly happy with the interest rate, but we just now got our credit to a point where we could do something with our house. So, it's not their fault. I would gladly give friends 21st Mortgage’s number and tell them to call. Everything I had to do with them was a decent experience and they kept in contact with us, which is more than what normal finance people do.
The process with 21st Mortgage took too long and the reps kept asking me for my pay stub and were still asking for more. When you send in your W-2s and your income checks, you should get all the information from right there. But they sent me a letter and I had to write it down on paper and it was the same information. I started in January and I was able to sign my docs on May 1st. It went through but it didn't make sense how they had me repeating things over and over. The reps weren't helpful because they couldn't explain why they needed the same information. When I started in January, I had one interest rate and by the time that I closed, they went up 0.5. They didn't lock me in back in January. I didn't like that but I was just trying to hurry up and close. But as soon as I can, I'm gonna refinance with a different company because I didn't like the way how 21st Mortgage did things.
The experience with 21st Mortgage was excellent from day one. The application process was extremely easy. I put the application in on a Saturday and by Monday morning, I have been approved. They started reaching out to me that Monday morning at 8:00. My loan officer, Justin, was amazing. Our whole process took about nine months because of different things with the property. But Justin was so diligent through the whole process and he was so good with everything. So he was above and beyond perfect. The process was very straightforward. We had to work with different people in the process until we closed it. Everyone that I've worked with at 21st Mortgage was highly in tune to their job and position. They always had the information that I needed readily available. It's an excellent company and service all the way around.
I worked with the most knowledgeable person I could ever have hoped for. Her name is Joy **. Please promote this wonderful human being. She is so competent in her trade and a pleasure to work with. In general, the whole staff was great to work with.
I can't believe you sent me another review for this company. I don't have enough time to describe the experience. From the beginning it was a disaster. It is hard to believe they have any stars. Maybe my guy was just having a bad day, week oh wait how about almost 3 months. This company can cry it wasn't their fault all they want, but I have 2 pages of documentation and emails that prove them wrong. Ask me, I would be happy to share. Right now I'm concentrating on how to pay off the mortgage to get away from them because the longer I stay with them, they better chance they have to screwing up something else.
I went through a mobile home park place, Pinetop Homes, and they were the ones that put the application in and tried to get me qualified for a loan. But their prices and what they came up with a figure was just way too high. So I went through another Realtor that also used 21st Mortgage and I was able to find something a little more affordable and was able to get it through them. We're happy and moved in and trying to get settled.
The process was a little nerve-racking, because of the application and wanting the paperwork that they were requiring to get us cleared before closing. It was a little stressful, but it all worked out in the end. The Realtor did whatever they could and it got done. But the communication was kind of slow. I'm not too savvy with technology nowadays and I can't deal with it. All the emails and trying to get things done through the phone and emails was overwhelming. But for the most part, it was great. I'm very appreciative that 21st Mortgage gave me the opportunity to buy a house and I can move forward from there.
They were great. Everybody I talked to was helpful, prompt and very knowledgeable. I definitely had a good experience with 21st Mortgage. We closed early because we had a lot of the legwork already done upfront because we had already gotten so far in the loan process with the other company we had started off. But because the home had been moved a couple of times, the loan wasn't able to be funded. Then we found 21st Mortgage. However, the terms weren't necessarily the ideal situation. We're 5.5 points higher than we were qualified for on the previous loan. That wasn't great. We initially had a 15-year term and now we have a 30 with 21st. But they're more accepting of circumstances than a typical banking company.
This experience has been very good overall. Anthony has been a very big help. I'd recommend the whole team at 21st but Anthony in particular. His level of compassion and passion to help makes him stand out in my mind.
The service has been good except for INSURANCE people don't return calls and they blow you off. I have yet to get a call from my insurance rep and I have called her twice in the past two weeks. They gave me no consideration on a water leak that turned into MOLD and I had it repaired and I had detailed pictures of the water damage that was done.
The rep I worked with was really good. He answered the phone every single time I called him. He realized that I didn't know what I was doing because I have never purchased before. He walked me through a lot of stuff and he kept reassuring me that everything was okay. Also, he worked real good with the Realtor and the insurance company. We did a lot of the process through email, scanning, and faxing. I can't scan and send stuff and I don't have a printer and he was real patient about it. So far, I've been pretty comfortable with 21st and I feel secure. My payments were really right where I needed them to be, which was a big help.
I wish it's easier to get to 21st Mortgage Corporation. I work on 9:00 to 5:00, so since we're in the same timezone, calling them is hard for me to do to contact my loan officer when I'm at work. And as soon as I get off work, they are closed, unfortunately. Other than that, my loan officer made everything straightforward to do.
When I called in I was having difficulty with the phone system telling me all extensions I tried were invalid so I hit “0” and spoke to Ashley. She apologized for the trouble but was unable to take a payment so she transferred me to Graham and stayed on the call until we were successfully connected. He also apologized for the trouble, was very friendly and professional. He also gave me his extension to use in the future. My experience with him was top notch. He has great customer service skills!!!!
Everything happened in a timely manner and it was straightforward. They gave me the info or requested the info I needed and nobody was rude. Also, they worked with us when we were on a cruise and it didn't disturb any of the process. They kept the ball rolling and they did a great job.
It was a fairly easy process obtaining my mortgage. It took a little longer getting stuff done but they were ready and pretty quick. Also, every interaction was very courteous. If I had an issue and they couldn't talk to me that second, they would call me back within a reasonable amount of time to get the issue resolved. Almost any time I called, the rep had an answer for me and I called him more than I honestly should. But he never got upset and he never acted like it was a burden.
Taylor was the Representative I spoke with and all my questions were answered. She was very efficient and courteous during our conversation. I will not hesitate to contact 21st about any questions I might have regarding my mortgage because I am confident my questions will be answered quickly and correctly.
I liked the service, especially the representative that I dealt with. He was the only one that does Connecticut. After I closed, it took a week for us to get the funds. The only thing that 21st Mortgage Corporation should improve on is if somebody sent a document, they should make sure that it gets to the right place so they don't keep requesting it. As nice as they are, to expect delay. Don't expect to close within 30 days or 45 days like they said, because it's not gonna happen. I thought it was like every other mortgage company where you get funded that day. And I have made arrangements for movers for Saturday, and I have to cancel everything. I couldn't move until the following Friday, because that was when we got the funding.
The loan process seemed a lot. But maybe that's just the process of not being in person. Other than that, the guy was nice. He always answered my questions. Everything has been great.
My loan representative was out for surgery the whole time I went through the process. I would get an email from her in the morning, and I would call to ask questions about the email I received from her, but she's not in the office. So, I would get directed to somebody else who I had not spoken to before to ask them questions. And every time I had to call to ask anybody a question, I spoke to somebody different and that annoyed me.
There was a gentleman, Drew, I spoke to a couple of times. And on a couple of instances that I was annoyed having to call and speak to somebody else, and they asked me for another document. But every time I spoke to him, he was professional, went above and beyond. He took it on the chin, like I would be in a bad mood calling him. He would just take it and he was, "Nope, I understand. I respect it." He was positive-natured to everything and always able to find out information I needed.
I appreciate the fact that they went ahead and set it up for bi-weekly instead of monthly because they did that on their own. Being new to the home purchasing, they did that as part of my deal, which, once I figured it out, makes life much easier. But go with somebody that is local because there was nobody locally here. I called out of state trying to get information, talk to them and get stuff. If you needed special type of mortgage financing, like I needed for the trailer that I purchased, 21st Mortgage Corporation is worth talking to. But explore other options first.
We did FHA and the process was easy. Also, the rep we worked with, Adam, helped.
Working with 21st Mortgage Corporation gave me my first home. The process was smooth and easy. The rep was extremely helpful and thorough with everything. She didn't make me feel bad about not knowing what was going on at some point. And she was fast at responding. There was one part that I got stuck on. It was asking what type of community I was moving into. I typed in the name of the community and it didn't come up. I got everything else from all over in Michigan and it was complicated. So, I just had to ask and I was using the wrong one. That was a bit confusing. Other than that, 21st Mortgage has good people working for them. People who are willing to help you out. I would recommend it.
This process was not easy at all. My application and file changed departments several times which required me submitting the same information multiple times. It took almost 2 months to close on my home even though I gave all of the needed information in the first week and everything on my side was approved in the second department.
Ginger, we are sorry that you felt our service was anything less than outstanding. All of our loan applications are subject to underwriting guidelines based on the information stated on the application. Please contact us at 800-955-0021 if you would like to discuss your experience further.
We went to get a mortgage for a trailer. The application process was easy and it did not take me long at all. But I didn't get as much feedback as I was hoping for for my first time with my loan organizer. They take a few days to respond. Other than that, everybody was pretty good at answering my questions. This has definitely helped us get a new start. 21st is very flexible and they work with a lot of people despite not even having credit history. They give people a very good chance.
Everything was good in my experience with 21st Mortgage. I worked with Kayla and she did a great job. I'm very persistent. I would call her five times a day, asking the same question in different ways and she was really responsive. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The process was straightforward. She was really good. Great customer service.
This was the worst experience! The lender pulled our credit and denied the loan before even calling me to go over the application. We're self-employed so obviously our income had to be calculated. The application isn't set up for self-employed borrowers. He denied us twice but I was persistent and thank God we finally closed. It was horrible. I would never do business with them again.

Drew ** helped me from start to finish and answered every question I had. Explained everything in great detail....I would at times call him 5 times a day and never once was bothered. Top notch customer service....Thank you Drew and thank you 21st!!
This is by far the best mortgage out there that does not make things hard, and is willing to do all they can to help you get your home! I had a really great experience with Tyler, he is very nice and helpful! While I could not get a hold of the loan originator assigned to me, Tyler has helped me through it all! Thank you Tyler!
