I went with 21st Mortgage for a consolidation refi. The whole process involved a decent amount of paperwork, and while it was somewhat lengthy, having the right support made a world of difference. Brian, my loan originator, played a pivotal role in keeping things smooth and efficient. However, when he was unavailable, the service considerably dipped, causing confusion and lack of clear updates.
Speaking of rates, the terms I got were adequate at the time, even though they weren't the best possible rates in the market. Nonetheless, it significantly improved from my prior loan with better terms, even if it extended my mortgage to 30 years to keep the payments manageable.
The standout aspect was certainly the efficiency and knowledgeability of Brian in handling my application. Any time someone else stepped in, it became a bit chaotic with inconsistencies forcing me to repeat tasks multiple times. It felt like some processes required my involvement more than necessary, almost like I was doing their legwork. As for using their online portal, while it offers security with device validations, it was somewhat inconvenient to repeatedly verify login on the same device within short intervals. I specifically appreciate Brian's input, whose exemplary service I would rate five stars any day.

The process of obtaining the mortgage was quite straightforward and easy to grasp, which was a relief for us. The application process was remarkably smooth, and the team was easy to contact whenever needed. Any necessary communications went without a hitch, leading to a seamless experience.
The application and underwriting process took about two weeks, primarily due to some back-and-forth negotiations. Impressively, we found ourselves comfortably moved into our new house within a month.
The professionalism of 21st Mortgage stood out, as any concerns or questions were met with honest and direct answers. They didn't give false hope or lead us astray. Their transparency about the process and what we qualified for was appreciated, making sure everything was understandable.

I consulted with my sister, who is in property management, about choosing a mortgage provider, and that's how I learned about 21st Mortgage Corporation. The customer service I experienced was great; everyone was really helpful, and communication was smooth whether it was over the phone, via email, or online. I had to send several documents online, and while the process was mainly good, I’d still rate it pretty high. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending 21st Mortgage to anyone based on my experience.

The supervisor that deals with my loan has been very disrespectful towards me. I keep in contact and let them know when I will have the money for the payment. One time things didn't work out as planned so I couldn't make a double payment to get ahead on my payments, and have been dealing with this man since. He is rude and has me in tears by the end of every call making me feel like trash. He has called me a liar and is very belittling. I wish I could switch mortgage companies all because of him. Everyone else I have dealt with has been understanding and kind.

The application process was easy, but communication during the home-buying process was lacking. My husband and I faced delays due to issues with forms and unclear pay stub requirements. We were proactive about staying on top of the process, yet faced misunderstandings, especially regarding insurance, which 21st Mortgage didn't offer to Florida residents—information I only discovered after repeated inquiries.
Throughout the process, it seemed the agent from 21st Mortgage was not adequately communicative. When I needed clarity as a first-time buyer, the communication gaps added needless stress. I made it clear that as someone not well-versed in the home-buying process, I needed clearer guidance. The lack of assistance was frustrating, with the attitude seemingly left for me to figure things out alone.
Overall, I rated my experience a 3 due to these issues. Customer service felt problematic, earning a 2; however, using their website was straightforward, which I rated a 5. Although I didn't get a chance to compare, I'm content with our mortgage costs and interest.

It’s my first time buying a home, and I wanted to have that experience. I didn't have the money, but I had excellent credit. I was drawn to 21st Mortgage because they seemed highly professional and were recommended by several colleagues who had positive experiences. They are known for their transparency and not beating around the bush, which gave me confidence in my decision.
The process of obtaining my mortgage took longer than initially promised, though. It was meant to be a 60-day process but extended further as they requested additional documents multiple times. Although this was somewhat frustrating, I understood the necessity for thoroughness and the importance of ensuring everything was clear and legitimate.
My interactions with the loan officer were exceptionally positive. The officer was very professional and maintained effective communication, answering questions and walking me through any concerns. This made a big difference and left a lasting impression of professionalism and support.
Ultimately, despite the drawn-out process, everything ended well, and I am now a happily settled homeowner. I would definitely recommend 21st Mortgage to anyone considering taking out a mortgage through them.

I was in the home market and found that other lenders had higher monthly mortgage payments. I specifically needed a lender who could approve a mobile home mortgage under my circumstances and I decided on 21st Mortgage. The application process started well and took around three months. However, over time, I grew quite frustrated with the communication, particularly with Ken. It felt as though they were consistently postponing the process.
There seemed to be considerable delays as they failed to communicate in a timely manner. For example, I often waited days before I was informed of something crucial, and even had situations where I was assured of a closing date only to find out last minute about paperwork I needed to review days in advance. This lack of communication extended the process needlessly into another week.
My main issue with 21st Mortgage has been their lack of effective communication. I found myself having to be proactive to move things along, which seemed inappropriate given it should have been their responsibility to keep me informed. While the overall lending process, aside from these communication hurdles, went smoothly, there’s definitely room for improvement on their part.
Overall, given these experiences, I’d rate my experience in the middle range.

This is my first home purchase and my realtor recommended 21st Mortgage. I decided to work with them and my experience was positive; their team was knowledgeable, and the first few conversations were beneficial. However, things unexpectedly took a downturn. The person assigned to my loan became uncommunicative—I struggled to reach them via phone and email. I was advised to reach out to another person, Grant, only to be redirected to the original coordinator. Unfortunately, communication was sparse, leading to frustration. My realtor even had to step in at one point due to the lack of updates. It wasn’t till right before the closing date that communication improved.
While I initially received comprehensive information about the first-time buyer loan process, this was overshadowed by the later communication challenges. Ultimately, I would suggest considering 21st Mortgage if you're in urgent need of a home loan, yet it's crucial to be aware it might involve significant waiting periods.
Regarding their offerings, I would rate my overall experience at 3 out of 5 stars. The online document uploading service was efficient and user-friendly, and the fees were reasonable, earning a 5 out of 5. The APR was higher than expected though and I was a little shocked.

If I was to do it all over again, I wouldn't go with this company. Ineptitude, repetition, having to read things to fill grown adults, and do their math. Was a nightmare. My 'agent' couldn't figure out how to read an email and what was attached. I was then harassed my entire vacation (out of state where I had no access to anything) along with being pressured to accept their insurance policy because they rushed me to death. Yeah, not a great time.

We applied for a mortgage with 21st Mortgage, and throughout the process, we were kept up to date on every step. Lindsay ** was wonderful to work with, very responsive to all of my questions. We had a very short timeline for obtaining this mortgage, and she really helped expedite the process. We were able to close on our new home on time, and we couldn't be happier.

Verification of Employment was stressful. I supplied 3 years of W2s, 3 check stubs. I work for the State of California and we are paid monthly. Because the date of start of loan process was after the first of the month, the pay stubs I provided was past date. Due that the fact that pay warrants are issued once a month I could not provide an up-to-date pay stub. Therefore, I had to go through process of personnel providing a VOE. I ran into difficulty with that because my personnel specialist was on vacation.. It was a lot. Therefore, the process was a bit tainted for me. I am happy that eventually the loan was funded.

This mortgage company is a joke. They say you need a 620 credit score (mine was 694) and at least 3% down (I offered 5%) and they STILL rejected me. And, it was for a $67K mobile home and not the friggin' Vanderbilt mansion! A company with such inconsistency is not someone I would want to do business with.

After consulting my realtor, I ended up using 21st Mortgage Corporation for my home loan through a real estate process. The realtor took care of the entire application process, streamlining everything smoothly—our loan was finalized in less than a month! We mostly communicated via email, though I did receive one phone call for confirmation.
While my Annual Percentage Rate felt a bit steep, it remained manageable, and it's hard to compare since it's my first time dealing with such things. As for uploading documents, I relied heavily on my realtor's help, making the whole process easier for me.
What's great is that I’m about to send my first payment next month, and even though we didn’t opt into any specific mortgage program, I’d rate my experience a perfect score because everything was managed well. Navigating their online tools and email communication was also straightforward. All in all, my experience with 21st Mortgage has been positive, and their service deserves recognition.

21st Mortgage Corporation was one of the few companies willing to finance manufactured homes, which was a necessity for me. Overall, my experience with them was very positive. While I faced some issues with the sellers—such as them unexpectedly leaving for vacation right when the process was supposed to conclude—21st Mortgage stood by patiently throughout the delay.
Although closing took around two months due to the seller's vacation and the complexities of signing over the title from Canada, 21st Mortgage was incredibly understanding and communicative. They did a fantastic job explaining the process and communicating any updates. I had zero complaints about their service and their personnel.
I was impressed with how supportive the team at 21st Mortgage was, and they were nothing but professional and accommodating through what turned out to be a somewhat tricky closing. Kayla, in particular, from 21st Mortgage, was highly commendable. I would absolutely recommend 21st Mortgage Corporation to anyone under similar circumstances. They were fantastic as far as being patient with me and letting me know what the process was.

After much deliberation, I ended up choosing 21st Mortgage Corporation since it was one of the few options available for my situation. The process to obtain a mortgage was relatively straightforward for me. While my agent did the majority of the interaction with them, I found the process easy nevertheless. I mostly communicated through emails but also sent some information via fax.
The process took about 2 to 3 weeks, which was reasonable. I obtained my first mortgage for a mobile home with them. While I found the process quite smooth and satisfactory, I did notice that the annual percentage rate seemed a bit high for my liking.
If a friend or family member asked me about my experience, I would advise them that 21st Mortgage is a viable option if they’re comfortable with the terms, even though there might not be many alternatives. Despite the high rates, I would gladly rate my overall experience as positive.

After much deliberation, I opted for 21st Mortgage because there are only a few options available for securing a loan on a manufactured house. My experience, however, had its challenges. The process from application to closing stretched from May to September due to repeated requests for documentation. Initially, they requested W-2 forms for verification of my employment, which I promptly provided. To my surprise, they came back requesting an additional employment verification letter directly from my workplaces.
This was followed by an additional request to detail my employment dates, which felt like unnecessary back-and-forth. Had all requirements been outlined upfront, the process could have been more efficient. Miss Teresa, the loan representative I worked with, was very understanding, and even she found the process frustrating. It threatened the completion of my purchase and extended the time the sellers were willing to wait.
Despite these issues, Miss Teresa’s professionalism and compassion made a difference, and in the end, I would rate my overall experience with 21st Mortgage as satisfactory, giving them a generous four out of five, primarily due to those prolonged verification requirements.

Our experience with 21st Mortgage isn’t like most people’s. Where we bought our home was shut down because the owner was embezzling money, it happen to be in the process of us buying our home. The manufacture and the 21st Mortgage stepped in, they made a plan together changed the price on our home and several other things. Our home was never set set correctly and things were never fixed properly.
Fast forward to today, our home was struck by lightning and they don’t want to sign the check from our insurance company to do the fixes necessary on our home. We have no HVAC and 1/2 of our electric is out. It is a month later and they are still giving us a hard time. I’m so sick of this company I can’t wait until our block is finished so we can find another bank to use. When companies say “take us to court we’ll drag this out so long you’ll be bankrupt and homeless before this ever ends” you should run. This whole situation for us has been absolutely awful. Please think twice before using them.

Ms. Joy ** at 21st always went Above and Beyond in helping us get our loan on our second home, on every hurled or roadblock we hit, even when we thought about giving up, Ms. Joy was there encouraging us to stay in there, it will happen. Then finally it happened, got all the I’s dotted and the T’s crossed. We are now enjoying our second home with family.
