21st Mortgage was one of the only people that would lend on the house that we were buying. We had a couple of other places that we were going to look at, but they made the process super easy. The annual percentage rate is high, but that's just the economy right now and I’m okay with it. It'll give us room to refinance in the future for more time. At my signing, the guy told me that the origination fees that we had were going to be steep. We didn't really mind because we paid a low price for our house anyway.
It took us about three months since we had to push out our process an extra month. Not because of them, but because of the seller. As fast as we were willing to work with them, we had to wait on our seller for a couple of things. But it was easy because of them. The hospitality was nice every time I’d call them and they always answered our questions. I've already recommended some people to go to them. They were awesome to work with.

I remember being interested in a home and I contacted the land management of the place I was living at. They let me know that there are some things that they're partnered with, that people where I live like to use. I used that list and I found 21st Mortgage. It was my first time buying a home, but I think they're pretty straightforward with everything. My interaction with the loan officer was good, too. Everything went really well.

The loan process was easy and clear. I had great communication with Brian the loan officer. When I called anyone who answered my call was able to help me with what ever question I needed answered. Brain and his team were very pleasant and nice to talk to. They all made me feel that I was important. Thank you everybody who took part in my loan process. I will and have recommended 21st Mortgage to others selling and buying a home.

I was very grateful that 21st Mortgage approved me very quickly and the process was very smooth. The communication between the lender was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a mobile home. The communication between them and my realtor was amazing. I did not have to handle much at all besides my own paperwork.

From the very outdated appearance of the website, to the continual malfunction of the "stay logged in" button for the site, to the upload process, this process was a nightmare. The webstyling reminded me of the worse parts of the early 2010s, giving the impression that perhaps this company's care is not put into innovation. I was told repeatedly by Brian ** that I had submitted all I needed to only to be met with an email or a website checklist that said there was more to do. I convinced myself maybe it was me, perhaps it was my error at this! I' lm new, I've never done this before, after all. So I'd send in the things I'd been told were needed before I'd wait one to three business days for a response regardless of the email's content. I'd then be told there was more, things, which I'd already submitted.
I had to resubmit two documents twice, and a third one three separate times before informing Brian ** that I had already done as he had asked twice. I was asked to sign documents that were already signed before they were sent in, even. My dual representation realtor who has been in the business over a decade found the process of getting information to or from Brian ** and 21st Mortgage as a whole to as strenuous a process as I've had. She had to submit documents multiple times.
All in all, if I ever did this again, it would never not even if you paid me be with 21st Mortgage again. I'll be warning people away from this company for all the decades I'll have left in my home. If I had not had my helpful realtor and wanted this specific house so badly it almost hurt, I would have never managed to get through this process with 21st Mortgage. I sincerely hope changed are made to modernize the entire system.

21st Mortgage was the only one offering mortgage for the type of home I bought. Their process was okay and their consultant was all right. But there were times where things could have been handled better. The application was fairly simple, and downloading and uploading on their website was easy. But a lot of things were redundant. What they required were superseded by other things that already covered more information than what they were asking, but they required to have their stuff filled out instead. Also, I was told it wasn't going to take as long as it did, but the process was drawn out. But the timeline met my needs because I went with them. But overall, they would have more people if the customer service end and speediness of a loan were faster and better communicated.

We dealt with another mortgage company who ran into a roadblock with something that they needed that they could not get from the community we were living in. So, we went to 21st Mortgage. They primarily deal with manufactured homes and that was what we bought. We submitted an application, then, whenever they asked for financial documents, proof of employment, and things of that nature, we complied. And ultimately, the process went very smoothly. Everything from start to finish took about six weeks or so, which was reasonable. Our rep, Ken, was very responsive and he wanted to get things done. Anytime we contacted him, we got a response from either himself or his assistant. Our lawyer and realtor were in touch with them also, and overall, we had a very good experience with 21st Mortgage. They work with you and they're there for you.

I had 21st Mortgage previously on a home about a couple of years ago and the only reason I left was that I refinanced it. So I thought they'd do well, but their processes were all drawn out, and one of their appraiser companies screwed the deal up and made it go longer than it should have. The application itself was simple. But the way I would get emails back from 21st Mortgage and listing this stuff that they needed was like talking to AI. We weren't on the same page. So, it made me call the loan officer more. He was patient and worked with me. It was a lot more cumbersome than it was back in 2018. This wasn't a pleasurable experience because there was so much turmoil over communication. Then, I didn't even have a Realtor, but the seller's Realtor was helping me, so I'd call her and then get back with the loan officer. It wasn't fun.
I was a repeat customer and I had excellent credit, and they didn’t give me a good a deal. The house was priced for more than what I offered for it and they wouldn't use any of that towards the 20% down. I put the 20% down than I needed to. I knew I was going to have to in the beginning. But looking at a guy's credit rating, credit history, and at his previous history, that should have been taken into account. But it's no problem. That's just the truth of the matter. My first payment is due the 15th of this month, and I will pay it, but I'm not gonna stick with them for very long.

My father is a retired banker who knew several people in the mortgage industry and he had looked around for a mortgage lender for an older trailer home. I heard about 21st Mortgage Corporation from him and as a first-time home buyer, the process was easier than I expected it to be. It took around 45 days. Brian, the rep, was very patient with me. But communication can be improved. All we ever had was communication between us and between the emails. It seemed like I was chasing people more often than I needed to be, just trying to get answers. And more often than it turned out to be, they were waiting on somebody as well. That part of the process got frustrating.

I've always done loans up close and personal. I had never done a home loan online and being older, it made doing everything online very difficult. I found there were some things that I did that got lost in the shuffle, but the people I spoke with at 21st Mortgage seemed to be knowledgeable. This is the first time I've had to do a loan long distance, but they were pretty efficient. The representative called me right away and we got to work right away, which was good. There's still a gap getting up and down online, though, for older people. As far as documents, I would go to the bank and have them process everything. I took out a seller to buyer mortgage. The annual percentage rate is a little high at 11%. I've never bought a house before where I had to pay that high an interest rate. My credit, though, wasn't that great, and I had to put a large amount of money down.
I had some problems with the people out here. They'd say something and it wouldn't be right. I'd start double-checking with 21st Mortgage and they were really good. A couple of times, I’d call up and some of the ancillary people, not my loan gal, weren't 100% on the information they were giving me, and it was getting down to the wire. My loan manager is a 5/5 though.

I went with 21st Mortgage for a consolidation refi. I was getting a bunch of paperwork. It was a long process, but for the most part, everything seemed to roll easily, especially working with Brian. That was the one thing that made everything go a lot quicker. He was so awesome when it comes to knowing everything about it. Whenever he was out, you could tell the difference because nobody knew what was going on but he straightened everything out. I liked Brian's efficiency. He was on top of everything.
The rates and terms seemed adequate for what I was doing. It wasn't the greatest rate, but at this moment, it was one of the best ones I could get. So, it was a lot better rate than what I had previously had entailed with the first loan. So, that did help out a lot. Also, it went to 30 years instead of 20 years. It was a little bit, but it got the payment down. I just have to work towards paying it off early.

The process at 21st Mortgage was really simple to understand. It was easy to contact the personnel I needed to contact, and it went pretty smooth. There were no hiccups on our end at all. The process took two weeks, and that was because we were going back and forth from negotiations. But it was fairly quick. We were in our new house within a month.
The reps answered my questions professionally, and they were honest. They weren't giving me hope or they weren't leading me on. They were straight up with how the process went and what I qualified for. I liked the reps’ calmness. In a way, they gave us security. It was comfortable working with them.

The supervisor that deals with my loan has been very disrespectful towards me. I keep in contact and let them know when I will have the money for the payment. One time things didn't work out as planned so I couldn't make a double payment to get ahead on my payments, and have been dealing with this man since. He is rude and has me in tears by the end of every call making me feel like trash. He has called me a liar and is very belittling. I wish I could switch mortgage companies all because of him. Everyone else I have dealt with has been understanding and kind.

21st Mortgage Corporation did a fantastic job. I learned about them when I was going for a manufactured home and my realtor connected me with them. I loved the open communication on the things that I needed to give. My rep was Dylan and he was a very huge help when it came to a lot of my questions and things that I didn't understand when I was trying to figure out what I needed to bring in order for the process to continue. Their website also offered a very good insight on the criteria of things that they needed from me, where I could get them, and the different examples of where to find them.
If you are ever confused about things that you don't know, 21st Mortgage will cover all the bases with you in the process of trying to get you a home. There were even questions that I didn't even know about that Dylan actually asked me that made me realize it was something that I needed or that I needed to know. And it took a lot of things into consideration, even with the situation of letting me know ahead of time of what to pay for certain things such as inspections. This was my first time getting a mortgage and I didn't know anything about houses and homes. Dylan was like a guardian angel directing me on what to do, so I really appreciated that.

The application process was easy but during the house buying process, communication wasn't great. The paycheck thing was very frustrating. The form needs to be changed because it doesn't make sense. I had to wait a couple weeks on that because they required it to be my pay stub, not the form, even though the form is a little confusing with the way it comes off. My husband and I were trying very quickly to make sure everything got done in a timely manner. We were staying on top of stuff.
One of the things they told me was that 21st Mortgage had an insurance that we could use. I called our agent at that time and was like, “Hey, I still see this is on here. I thought insurance was something you covered.” She said, “Oh, no. I thought we discussed this.” I wondered how we could have discussed it because she never called me. I always called her when there was an issue. It was really frustrating because I'm sitting around, waiting to hear something about insurance, only to find out that 21st Mortgage actually doesn't cover Florida residents. I would never buy a house due to the agent that we worked with for 21st Mortgage. She tried putting everything on the underwriters. It was not that great of an experience with her. I am a first time home buyer. I need someone to walk me through the process, and I told her in an email that the lack of communication has been frustrating.
Overall, I like the way that 21st Mortgage does things. The application online and the list were really helpful, and I do like how they help with trying to finance some of the closing costs. I did recommend them to my little brother and when he called 21st Mortgage, they were like, “No, we don't finance closing costs. We only take 20% down. No ifs and/or buts about it.” I didn't pay 20% down on my house. So, I was a little confused there. Other than that, I'm happy with our mortgage cost. I'm happy with the interest.

Everything went well with 21st Mortgage and I am a happy new homeowner now. I would recommend them. It was my first time buying a home and unfortunately, I didn't have the money. But I had excellent credit along with me, my brother, and Gail. So, we all took a responsibility of owning our first home and seeing the experience of it. I've heard that 21st Mortgage is not only very professional at what they do, but they clarify everything and don't beat around the bush. But most importantly, I've heard many good reviews of them and I've had colleagues tell me that they got their first home through them.
I had a pretty long process with 21st Mortgage as there were a lot of things that they required. There was a point that everything would be clear, then they would ask for another thing, and another thing, and another thing. But I knew that was part of the process since they got to make sure that everything was legit and clear. It was supposed to be a 60-day thing and it actually lasted a little bit longer because there were certain things that they kept asking for, which was totally reasonable. At the end of the day, we were able to close the chapter, and that was the important thing. My interaction with my loan officer has been a 10 out of 10. We talk every so often and if I have any questions, I know that I could call him and ask. He was very professional.

I needed to find somebody that was willing to approve a mobile home with the circumstances to meet. For the most part, the process with 21st Mortgage was good. It took about three months. At the end, 21st Mortgage was totally screwing a lot up and I was getting very frustrated with Ken. Besides that, everything went smoothly. It was just they kept postponing things at the end. They were terrible at communicating. I would be waiting three days, and then I would call them and they'd say they've been waiting to tell me what I need. When I asked when they needed it, they answered, "As soon as you can get it to me." That would have been nice to know three days ago. He said he just didn't have the time to get to me. Then, three days later, he was out of the office and he doesn't answer his phone.
At the end, I know they were doing a lot of agreements with the attorney for all the closing costs and the attorney was ready there on the computer back and forth. Whoever they were doing it with between 21st would be there for an hour and then dip off for three and then come back. They ended up calling me and saying, "Just do it over the phone." That was when it started going quicker. And then, I was guaranteed a closing date. I took the day off of work. My last day I had available off of work. I asked them the day prior if we would still be good the next day, and they said yes. Right before 21st closed they called me to tell me that one of the paperwork that I have to read and I have to have it in my possession for three days before I close. They didn't tell me that until the night before we were supposed to close. They didn't send it to me until that night as well.
We had to wait another week to close because now we had to wait for the weekend to pass and the three days and then meet the attorney. The communication was really terrible. I don't wanna pin it all on the rep, but it was more like them doing something and then not wanting to get ahold of me. They're just waiting for me to get ahold of them.

It was really great working with 21st Mortgage. I found a place and the realtor recommended them. The initial conversations were beneficial and they were very knowledgeable. I was very informed on what steps were to be taken and what was going on. Then, for whatever reason, things took a pretty drastic turn. It was very daunting and the person that we were working with was very uncommunicative. I tried calling him several times to no avail. I tried emailing him and never got a response from him. I was told to contact someone else through 21st Mortgage. His name was Grant and when I tried contacting him, he let me know that I had to continue working with who I was given the first loan through.
It got to a point where it was so hard to get in communication with anyone that could give me information regarding my loan application that the realtor ended up stepping in. She called and emailed them a bunch of times. We went two to three weeks with bare minimum communication and one email in between the three-week period. Then, about four days before we purchased the home and got everything settled, that was when we started getting more communications.
I have talked to my friends and told them that 21st Mortgage is a good place to get a loan from if you're in a pinch and you need a home loan. But I also warned them to take it with a grain of salt, because there could be a lot of possibilities that you are just left hanging. Their fees weren't that expensive and they were pretty well drafted up. I was a little shocked by the APR though as it was a lot higher than I had initially expected. Other than that, I liked the ability to upload documents without having to call in, talk to somebody, and explain it to them.

Verification of Employment was stressful. I supplied 3 years of W2s, 3 check stubs. I work for the State of California and we are paid monthly. Because the date of start of loan process was after the first of the month, the pay stubs I provided was past date. Due that the fact that pay warrants are issued once a month I could not provide an up-to-date pay stub. Therefore, I had to go through process of personnel providing a VOE. I ran into difficulty with that because my personnel specialist was on vacation.. It was a lot. Therefore, the process was a bit tainted for me. I am happy that eventually the loan was funded.
