Walmart Vision Center Reviews

Hi, so I came in on February 26,2026 to Walmart store 2004 S. Pleasant Springdale Arkansas to pick out some frames and discuss the type of lens / bifocal I wanted. I felt like she (Amy) wasn't listening to me. I showed her how I wear my glasses on my nose. She kept pushing them up to my forehead and I would push them back down to where I like them and that's comfortable to me. Then she went to put the ruler up to the frames as she did that on the left lens side frame she was pushing downward on my frames and I kept trying to hold them so she could get the measurements right. I gave up and just let her finish. Then I came back on March 5, 2026 to have left lens done because I tried them on and the left side was off. So when I brought them back they said Amy told them to run me through the ringer to make sure it wasn't the doctor that did my vision test was right.

I visited the vision center to get a screw that had fallen out of my reading glasses. As soon as I walked up, someone greeted me and said they would be with me momentarily. Amanda, at the Montgomery, Tx location, helped with my request. She was very friendly, eager to help and it was done so quickly. I was expecting to pay for the service that I received and to my surprise, it was FREE! And my glasses were not purchased from Walmart Vision. With Amanda knowing that this is a free service, she did not change her demeanor and her customer service was appreciated!

Dr. ** and Andrea and staff at store 00987 performed exemplary eye exam and follow through for my dear senior friend. When the new glasses arrived she was amazed how well she could see everything! You all gave her better sight for which I will be forever grateful. Thank you! PS And the stylish glasses straps keep her from sitting on the new pairs!! TY

Honestly, we didn’t know where to start. My son’s first set of glasses and Carolina Sarmiento greeted us and gave us information where to start and how the frames were displayed, by cost and brands. She asked my son a few questions and found that he was looking into clear frames preferably. She went and brought a few ones that she believed he might be interested in. Sure enough my son found the ones he wanted. She was friendly and patient and we appreciate that. Great customer service!!

I recently visited the Walmart Vision Center and was greeted very quickly by Tonya. She was very kind and patient, and she explained everything. She showed me several frames and prices, and was very honest about how she thought the glasses I chose looked on me. I felt that I had known her forever. The professional courtesy and friendly atmosphere were wonderful. Tonya completed my order for new glasses, and I was on my way in less than an hour. Thanks, Tonya.

I visited the Walmart in Lake Jackson, TX to pick up new glasses. My assistant was Christina. She was super friendly and very professional. She adjusted both pair of glasses with care. We laughed and talked much of the time. The time just flew with Christina because she was personable and kind. Great job Christina!!

I scheduled an exam with the Walmart Vision Center in Hudson FL, on May 15th 2026. The doctor, elderly all white haired lady, refused to serve me because I wanted contacts instead of glasses. She told me that she wants her patients to be ‘responsible’. And that I had to buy glasses first. I have never in my life been told by an eye doctor what I can or can’t buy as far as my vision is concerned. She got security involved and refused to see me. I can’t believe the audacity and the ugly professionalism that Dr displayed. No eye doctor has the right to make you get one or the other. Walmart Vision in Hudson FL unprofessional, and sketchy. I think I might sue. Nobody has the right to tell a paying customer what they can’t get one or the other. This is dastardly.

My wife and I have been going to Walmart Vision Center for years. I went to enquire about my subscription as my left eye has a cataract and my new glasses did nothing to help. I received a cold, uncaring response from a young man I never seen there before. I wanted to see the doctor, but was told it was unnecessary. We are now looking elsewhere for vision care.

1200 dollars into my 2nd pair of garbage prescription sunglasses and I can't see correctly... They are unusable and the Murdoch store won't entertain ANY restitution. If I do not get some kind of help I and my sister and husband will find some place that stands behind their product!!!! I am beyond pissed!!!

Glasses are fine, but poor representation of insurance coverage and subsequent additional costs. Was never informed about cost of transition lenses, (were told clip-on sun shades weren't available; but they were). Added guarantee for $25 w/o mentioning...
