I have bought frames and lenses from this location off and on for many years - for myself and my children. I brought in a pair of frames purchased elsewhere for lenses to be inserted. The person who initially waited on me was fine; she was friendly, professional, and courteous. However, when I went to pick up the glasses, the manager/owner (a woman of German descent) was very rude. I unfortunately was waited on by her instead of the other woman, and she told me that because I did not purchase the frames at Walmart, she could not fit the glasses to my face. I know that the other woman would have done it because she told me that she would customize them for me when I picked them up. I wear progressive lenses and had spent over 400.00 in that store! I was livid. I have not been back since.
I had a great experience at this Wal-Mart and the doctor is amazing! I would recommend coming here. The doctor and staff made me feel very comfortable and they helped me with picking out glasses as well.
I went in one day to pick some glasses from WalMart. They have a good selection and good prices. I found some frames I really liked and ordered some, they came in less than a week but when I received them, one eye was blurry. So now I have to wait another week for them to fix it. They had one job, a simple task and they messed it up. I won’t be coming here again considering they can’t follow simple tasks.
I love the frames! But I couldn’t see so I took the glasses to my eye doctor to find out they were not made right. They cut off the bifocals so these $500.00 glasses were worthless to me! So I had to get a full refund! I will never use Walmart optical again! These people are suppose to be professional! I very disappointed!
I went to get a contact lens exam and on my way out asked the eyewear person if they could do me a favor and adjust my glasses since they were loose! She took a while to come back and handed my glasses to me to try on. Both lenses were damaged and apparently burned and had a stress fracture from her putting too much pressure on the sides. I was devastated and when I told her she said “I didn’t do anything to your glasses”. Well after back and forth for 10 minutes I left to get my composure. I returned to ask for a manager.
Amy was very rude because she knew why I was back. She said that when I got my glasses adjusted it was at my own risk. Especially since I didn’t buy them there. I just got them and they were very expensive lenses. I could not believe they didn’t want to accept their responsibility. There is no way I could have driven there with them like this. It was an obvious burn and damage caused by her heating them too much and pushing them together to tighten them. I will be calling Vision Center Corporate tomorrow. Stay tuned. By the way this was the Vision Center in Easton PA. Don’t ever go there unless you want to be disappointed and out $300!!!!
I bought some prescription glasses from Walmart in Naples FL. They were ready in a week. Great. I went to pick them up on a Saturday. They wouldn't give them to me because the optician or someone didn't feel like coming into work that day. I dropped by this morning at 9:05am and they were closed despite the fact that they advertise opening at 9:00. I got someone on the phone at 9:30 to get a time for picking them up. Again, the optician didn't feel like coming to work today. I need to call tomorrow to get a refund because the guy on the phone didn't know how to do it. This place is a complete waste of your time.
The wife and I purchased new glasses. Neither of us can use glasses. She has had hers redone three times and is using her old glasses. I went back three times because I can only see in the bottom 1/4" of lens. I have to lift my head up and point my eyes down. This hurts one neck after awhile. I am using A dollar pair of glasses. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with glasses.
They messed up one of my lenses and sent them back. Now they're in fighting about doing my glasses over. I spent 250 per pair. I can get them cheaper elsewhere. Avoid this place. I want a refund and will push for one later this week if they can't get it together. Absolutely horrid.
Got my glasses with lenses from Walmart Vision Center in Harbour Landing Regina, SK. Although it is an option to decline the product after paying in full the total before receiving the my glasses everything was said and done to prevent me from making that decision including possibly not receiving a full refund. I very much regret not taking the opportunity and risk of a partial refund. At 54 yrs old and wearing glasses since I was 6 years of age, these are by far the worst glasses I have ever paid for. I voiced my concern at that time that either the wrong prescription was sent to manufacturer to have my lenses made or they were made wrong. I have a difficult and strong prescription, but I wake up every day not looking forward to the frequent headaches I have with these lenses.
I visit both Harbour landing and Regina North location to have my frames adjusted regularly in hopes of it helping despite what I am made to feel is an inconvenience to the employees. My bifocal digital prescription glasses are at minimum $650, plus frames if I choose to purchase new frames. At the time of buying these glasses I could not afford $900 plus so I visited Walmart for my lenses as I had in the past, but not with the same experience or quality of lenses. I have another 11 months 28 days before my insurance will partially cover a new set of glasses, so I am unable to pay the considerably higher prices elsewhere for a new pair. I just wanted express my frustration, disappointment and pain in hopes of helping others who are thinking about Walmart vision.
Shortly after getting my new glasses from Walmart vision center in Richmond Missouri I noticed blurring of vision in my left eye. On my next trip I stopped by and asked the attendant if they'd check to make sure my prescription had been filled correctly. She told me they were too busy with customers and I would have to come back. There was no one in the place. I wanted to use wifi and she permitted me to sit while doing so. 5 minutes go by and someone comes out of the eye Dr. exam room. I asked her could he check my glasses against the prescription. She stated he had customers with appointments and I would have to come back some other time.
I finished up with my use of the wifi, the other customer She was attending had already left. I went outside the vision center and waited. 20 more minutes went by before someone else walked in, they went into the exam room. No one else came out. For $300+ dollars for eyewear this is very poor service indeed. Pandemic or not. David D. Henrietta, Missouri 64036
I ordered and paid for my glasses on Sept 3rd. Today is Sept 20th. They are still in shipping status. Delayed. No expected date of arrival. Unacceptable. First and last time using Walmart Vision Center.
Walmart Vision Center in Mechanicsburg PA has a really helpful and friendly person by the name of Lisa **. She compared the insurance that my husband and I have and made sure we got the best deal. She took her time, didn't rush us, and she wore her mask!
I tried to schedule a contact exam. The lady who answered wouldn't let me scheduled. I asked why, she claimed a bad situation happened I supposedly did, I DIDN'T do what she claimed happened. When I tried to explain that it never happen. Midsentence she hung up the phone and when I tried calling back they wouldn't answer my call. I am brown skin person which I think is the reason why they made up the lie so I won't go there anymore! Which is fine, I'll take my services elsewhere but to have those racist lying rude ** ladies work there is a bad look. They don't deserve 1 star but whatever. This in Casper Wyoming Walmart Vision Center 2nd st. The other vision center is waay better.
The website was easy to use so that I could get all the important information to make the best decisions on eyewear for me and my family. Obviously, everything can’t be done online but I’m glad it is streamlined so I didn’t have to make multiple trips.
Purchased glasses in Quinlan, Tx in Feb. With recommended cleaning procedure the lenses were too scratched to be useful after six weeks. Had to buy replacement. Same story. The stars are for staff not product.
I have bought glasses from Walmart optical for the last 20 years? They have a wide variety of frames, the quality and price is awesome. I was a school nurse and would recommend Walmart vision center to parents who wanted a quality and affordable eye wear for their child.
I returned the glasses and received a refund. Problem solved.
I brought in a prescription from my eye doctor I see annually for possible diabetes complications. Last visit I was told my prescription had not changed since the year before. I ordered glasses from Walmart based on that prescription. I cannot wear the glasses as things are blurry. I went back to check accuracy of the lenses, and was told I probably have other problems like cataracts or other related causes, but yet my old glasses were just fine. Also I can see out of the left side of the lenses, so why not all of the lens. I have an appointment with my eye doctor this week. so I will know more. Walmart employees were telling me that I surely had a personal problem causing their glasses to be blurry, but not anything they could have done wrong, instead to advising me to go back to my doctor to check my vision and their glasses. We'll see.
Also, I am blind in my left eye, but yet was told I had to pay the 180 dollars for the same corrective lens as the right eye. So how in the world does that make sense to anyone. I can't see, but have to pay for a corrective lens? Asking for my complaint to the BBB. I called in to Walmart vision customer complaint department and they said they would get back to me within 24 hours. That was 5 days ago.
We got a pair of prescription eye glasses in 01/21/21, those glasses came with warranty & we paid extra for insurance against damage, they broke about 20 days ago. We went to get them fixed or replaced,. We were told they (Walmart) doesn't carry the product anymore, every one in the eye center acted like they wanted us to just leave, without solving the issue, we called the manager, he said the same, I called corporate right away, needles to say it took 18 days for Walmart to replace said glasses and the employees were Soo angry at us for calling corporate, they did not adjusted the frame & they left finger smudges on the lens, horrible service, I was put on hold last night at 6 pm when he wanted to tell corporate of it's people skills.
Walmart Sanford, FL Vision Center does have cheap eyeglass frames for $9 for those who need that. I bought the $54 frames with no professional expertise to assist. The help knew no more about frames than I did. The Optician did not impress me as knowing what she was doing. When I received the glasses the cut was wrong and had to be sent back. Receiving them a second time they felt awkward at first and thought I just needed to get used to them. They turned out to be very painful, bad prescription, bad cut bad frames. I have to start over get my eyes examined again someplace else and get glasses someplace else. $366 thrown away.
The staff want manipulated, the frames are low quality. The prescription was not the correct grade and I had to come back to fix. But the staff insisted I was wrong. Late they realized I was right without any excuse.
I went to Walmart Vision Center in Fitzgerald Georgia a couple of months back to get my exam and glasses. It took me 3 times to get my glasses right then 3 weeks ago I carried them back because the lenses were scratched so bad I couldn't see out of them. The lady told me they were out of warranty. I said, "Ok. I will pay for them out of pocket." We discussed polycarbon lenses. She said she would take care of it so after 3 weeks with no call from them I made several call to them. They said my glasses were ready.
I got up there and they hadn't even changed the lenses out. They still had the scratched lenses on the left side. She said, "The Dr. changed the script in the left eye so we changed the lens at no charge." I said, "No. I brought them because they were scratched and I needed new lenses. As a matter of fact I talked to you." She then proceeded to tell me the Dr. changed the script again. I said, "No ma'am. I didn't need the script changed." She was very rude. I finally just asked for a copy of my script so I could go elsewhere. Worst experience of my life.
I had an eye exam a while back, and the center gave me 2 prescription cards with 2 different prescription informations on it. It was on the same day, by the same O.D.s signature. I called to find out which prescription which prescription information was valid. The receptionist told me the O.D. was now deceased, and they no longer had my information on file bc it expired. I still dont know which prescription card is valid.
It’s difficult to find affordable, quality and beautiful glasses. But now since 8 years I buy mine and I have all I need. The service is very good and they’re very efficient. I was hesitant but I don't regret my experience.
Delivery is timely. When wrong prescription was delivered I received an immediate refund. They do not offer enough frame choices. Their prices and discounts are very good. I would order from them again.
They get the job done. Nothing special about them but I needed a pair quickly and they were very affordable! I use them as my spares now, so I am fortunate to have a reliable pair for that. I would use them again as they were quick and cheap!
Bought top of the line glasses, about $650.00. Two attendants. Due to Covid, they are behind rope barrier. You have to wave & call out to get them to come up to barrier, then although no one is in their lobby, make an appointment & return for service. Was first told that glasses would be in Feb 4th. A two week wait. Called to make appointment for 4th & was told glasses did not pass inspection, would be in 13th. They called back couple of days later and they were in on the 7th.
Went to pick up glasses. Waited outside barrier about thirty minutes. Told they had to assemble glasses. Told them they should have done that before I got there. Attendant brought glasses over to barrier and handed them to me. I asked that should we not sit down and adjust glasses to fit. Only then did attendant do the Covid precautions and I was allowed to enter work area for proper fitting. Glasses are OK but customer service is absolutely minimal and then you have to prompt and ask. For the prices they charge you are much better off with a professional provider. My one and only visit to Wal Mart Vision Centers.
I was very satisfied with my first visit to the Walmart Vision Center. The staff was very friendly and Tanya was great during the check in and check out process. They had great COVID safety and health measures in place. Dr. ** was excellent during my exam. He took his time, communicated during the exam and followed up on questions I had regarding my contacts. Highly recommend Walmart Vision and Dr. **.
The two associates complained because I was trying on the glasses and they would have to sanitize them. I was their only customer. They were doing nothing. They made me feel like I was annoying them.
I went to pick up my glasses & I tried them & they did not work for me. Brought them back & pick out some others with just single vision still too strong. I brought them back again tell them they were still too strong & now told it's too late to do anything. I now have glasses I spent over $200 for & can’t use them. I will not use Walmart vision again!! I’m not satisfied at all with the way they handle the whole situation. I will not be back & they want to charge me to come back in to see the doctor & that’s not right.
My son left Vision Center years ago because they rarely got his contacts when they said they would have them. Sometimes he would have to wait 3 weeks for them and they were always very rude to him. I stayed because it is close to my house and they had my file as I had been going there since 2013. Well today I went to my scheduled appointment and was met with the rudest person. I was standing outside for 5 mins. as there was a rope so you couldn’t get in and no one was at the front desk.
The phone ring which brought out the employee, she just ignored me and answered the phone to make an appointment for someone while taking all their information. When she finally acknowledged me she stuck a temperature meter on my forehead and then started lecturing me on how to fill out paperwork. When I told her I know how to fill out a form, she got insulted and told me if I was going to be rude I could leave, so I did and I will never go back. They have never been accommodating as they won’t replace lenses even when you purchase the frames from them.
