My recent experience at the Exton, PA Vision Center was exceptional. Specifically, Rebecca ** and Sara ** assisted greatly and manifest exceptionally patience in assisting me to resolve an erroneous refraction provided by my medical provider. We were able to identify the error and their efforts permitted me to correct the situation resulting in my acquiring the correct lenses and frames I sought. These ladies demonstrated outstanding customer service and made my experience at the Vision Center more comfortable than it might have been. I will be sure to recommend your center to other seniors seeking optical solutions in the future. Once again, thank you both, Rebecca and Sara, for your efforts on my behalf.

Still waiting for glasses. Very unprofessional and have absolutely No accountability… We ordered last month. They told us they would be in in a week. Every week we call after that day. They say they have no control over when UPS delivers the glasses. I asked at what point to we get a refund for something we paid for and haven’t received? They avoid the question and didn’t answer. I asked to speak with the manager and they put me on hold for to long and then said the manager was unavailable and would have to call me back!! Do not go here to get your glasses.

I purchased eyeglasses from Walmart Vision Center a year ago. I had purchased from them many times before, without any problems. This time, I was informed that Walmart now owns the Vision Center. I could no longer reorder the frames I loved. I ordered lightweight metal frames. What I ended up with were pink plastic frames that said Made in China on the arms. The lenses were foggy. Wearing them gave me headaches. I bought eyeglasses from my eye physician's office. What a difference! I could see clearly! Do yourselves a favor. Look elsewhere! Get some good quality eyeglasses! Steer clear of Walmart Vision Center!!!

The eye exam went well. Was was better than what I expected from Walmart Vision Centre because normally they do a poor job, you get what you pay for. But when picking up my glasses the technician made it so the glasses sit too close to my eyes so they get dirty quickly from my eyelashes touching the lenses. They also sit on my nose in such a way that I feel them even when I have them off. I don't think I can trust them to do a good job correcting the problem the other technician made because when I complained about it the other one was really weird so I'm going to take my glasses to somewhere else to get them adjusted and then I'll never use Walmart Vision Centre again even if I have to pay more.

I had never bought glasses at Walmart before, but decided to give it a try. I ended up spending over $700. I ordered all the extra upgrades, scratch guard, anti-glare, blue light protection, etc., like I normally do. I also bought a warranty for replacement in case anything happened to them within the first year. In the 25 years I've worn glasses, I NEVER had to take a pair of glasses back because of scratching. It's now a year later, and I needed to get BOTH LENSES REPLACED THREE TIMES because they scratched so badly.
It almost seems like they didn’t even bother putting scratch-resistant coating on them because of the warranty. The last time I went in due to scratched lenses, they said the warranty had run out a couple days prior. I had just gotten the lenses replaced about a month before that! And each time I had to get them replaced, I went without my glasses for over a week. I will absolutely never buy glasses from Walmart optical again. The QUALITY IS TERRIBLE, even with all the lens upgrades. Previously, I have purchased very inexpensive glasses online and they were much, much better quality than the ones I purchased from Walmart at a significantly higher price.

All I can say is read these reviews all these negative reviews. I do not recommend these lenses. The protective coating scratched and flaked off in three months put these glasses in middle of June received them end of June and by middle of September they were totally scratched up of course they blamed me how I clean them. I foreign glasses for 50 years never had an issue. I see things happening when they’re older that’s fine, but not after three months. I have used Walmart glasses for many years with no issues but this new pair three months is unacceptable.

I purchased my eyeglasses at Walmart Vision Center and this is the second time I am facing the exact same problem. After about 6 to 7 months of normal use, the anti-reflective coating starts peeling off the lenses. This is very frustrating because I take good care of my glasses — cleaning them properly and storing them safely — yet the lenses do not last. Eyeglasses are an expensive and essential product, and it is unacceptable to need replacement lenses in such a short period of time. I kindly request that Walmart take responsibility for this recurring defect by offering a free replacement of the lenses or providing a permanent solution to prevent this issue from happening again, But they charged me!!!

They were around $200.00, I asked the man if he could help me. No one was in the store, and he was sitting at a desk. He didn't respond; I was standing there waiting. Then he shoved a container in my face to put the glasses in and rolled his eyes. I took the glasses back to the case told him he was rude and walked out. I let him know I would call and write a letter. I am also leaving this here. I run a bank and have had many employees over the years. This man should not be around the public. He should be stocking shelves in the back somewhere. I am also going to reach out to the corporate office.

My eyeglass protective coating did not protect the lenses from scratches even though I used the microfiber cloth. The staff member tried using a logical fallacy argument that she never saw this happen and implied by omission that I must be lying. Because, in her world, she never saw this before, she's actually saying this can "never" happen. When I said I would like to talk with a higher authority, she knowingly gave me a false phone number. I complained to Walmart's ethics department and I know they will do nothing. They talk a big game at walmart about the ethics of their business but it's smoke and mirrors. I will tell many people about this and buy my lenses somewhere else... Walmart is a store of liars and low class employees.

Of course, my prescription had expired after 1 year, so did the warranty on the frames…. By only one month. I am homebound with difficulties getting anywhere in my power chair. I have worn glasses for 60 years. I have bought glasses at Walmart for years with no problems, but this time I was talked into an extra coating. I followed all the instructions on caring for the glasses, but after three months, the coating was so damaged that the glasses were unusable. I went to the store and asked the optician to examine them. They blamed me for improper care, and since I didn't purchase insurance, they said, 'Too bad, so sad.' I asked if anybody else had reported similar problems, and was told I was the only one. I am confident it was a poor-quality coating. I asked to see the manager and was again blamed for the problem. Reading reviews on this site, I see people reporting the same problem. I asked what my next recourse would be and was assured someone named Kyle would be calling. When I requested for my claim to be resubmitted to my insurance I was told they can't do it. A claim can only be submitted once. We live in a small town and don't have a lot of choices for eyewear. Everything about the appointment, the staff, convenience, was all perfectly fine. My issue is quality of the product. I’ve worn glasses most of my life. I’ve never had an issue. However, I was asked to purchase the additional warranty to cover all incidentals, which I agreed. A few months into the new glasses, I noticed a few scratches on the lenses. I was told those were surface scratches and were not covered by the additional warranty. Not happy because I’ve never had this problem before, but oh well. The staff explained to only use glasses cleaner and never a tissue or short tail, etc.. Some more time went by and the protective film actually started to peel along with the surface scratches.
I went back into the store and they did replace the lenses free of charge. Once again, they explained what to use and how to clean the lenses. I’ve worn glasses for 40 years. But I have been so careful not to touch these new lenses with anything. New scratches. And now the protective peeling is also coming off. Both times the lenses are less than 6 months old. I have no idea why this happening, but it has to be a cheap product. I’m very disappointed and have made another appointment for new glasses, not at Walmart. I’ve also warned people to keep that in mind.

So... this was a nightmare. 2 months ago I decided: lasik or glasses and decided to try getting glasses to correct my new astigmatism. Since my old optician was retiring my dad suggested that I try our local Walmart supercenter on Columbus Pike in Lewis Center Ohio. His friend had given it glowing reviews and how he was able to get them cheaper there than anywhere. Having no better idea, I decided to give them a go. 1st time I was there the doctor (Dr. **) mistook my responses of 'these aren't getting any better' as 'okay let's make the lenses' and I ended up with funhouse lenses that nearly resulted in 2 car accidents on the way home. 2nd time I went there, she simply built on her mistake, and made them more powerful, giving me headaches. 3rd time she put prisms in them, thinking my eyes weren't lining up properly. They were even worse. I thankfully had a 14 year old pair that worked fairly well. Better than hers.
I called her back to set up an appointment to try and use these as a basis for a pair that worked, and to show her how far off base she was. Her response was "Well I've seen you too many times. try someplace else." I called back and was able to get an appointment a month later because she was so busy. I get the appointment, and ** doesn't see me. She has the store manager handle me with trial lenses. She sees her next appointment ahead of me. Didn't want to even talk to me. We settle on the correct lenses, and a week later I have a set that works, no thanks to her. The staff were okay. They seemed to not work very hard but also seemed to be working with a system that could barely function. But Dr. ** was pompous and seemed to have no interest in actually doing her job. I will never go to Walmart for lenses again.

It went well at first picking out my glasses, but as soon as my glasses and contacts came in, they had mixed my contacts because they didn’t have that one in stock so they just gave me a different brand for the right eye, And then my glasses once they came in they just said here you go. They didn’t bother to fit into my face or anything so when I went back a couple days later because they didn’t fit my face, She just bent the end of them and gave them back to me. I mean, and it was bent so bad that there was no way I could wear them like that so I fixed it and then within three months they were so scratched up and just poor plastic.
Such poor quality is disgusting. I will never ever buy my glasses there again. That was the worst eyeglass experience. I’ve had at several places that I bought them from and I can’t say much more for the doctor. I had an unpleasant experience with Walmart Vision in Cedar Park, TX. I paid $416 for frames and progressive lenses, with my VSP insurance only covering $100. This left me with an out-of-pocket expense of $316. I paid $205.40 the day I placed the order and got a bill in the mail for $96.50, 11 months later. All the charges were not disclosed to me at the time I got my glasses. If I knew that insurance would not cover the anti-reflective coating charges and the high index lens charge, I would not have purchased my glasses from Walmart.
Unfortunately, I lost my glasses six months later and I decided to get a new pair from Costco, also in Cedar Park, TX. Surprisingly, without using any insurance, I paid only $242.98 for the frames and progressive high-index lenses. The Costco frames were branded and of superior quality compared to those from Walmart and a little more expensive than the Walmart frame but the overall cost at Costco was way lower than Walmart. An example of excessive charges, Walmart charged me $70 for anti-reflective lenses and anti-reflective lenses were $0 at Costco. Costco also takes VSP now. Based on this experience, I won't be using Walmart Vision again.

I left with a $300 glasses, Came home, checked the computer, asked my usual optician, Tinting is just a dye used to dye fabric, you can buy anywhere.
Also she failed to tell me that transition film does not work inside a car, the windshield blocks the UV, which explains why she hushed her cohort when she almost told me, at that time, I didn’t catch on why she hushed her. Walmart Vision Center needs to do something about their glasses return policy if they are going to wait months to bill people they say they have undercharged. According to store, it is very common for people to receive bills up to 12 months after purchase. I paid the $25 bill they sent 4 months after my husband got his, but this $171 bill 6 months after purchase of mine is ridiculous. I would NEVER have paid the total price that would make for a pair of glasses.
If they are going to bill so far out, then customers should have the option to return the glasses for a full refund (versus the 60 day return policy) and choose something in their price range. The fact that this is considered to be a common issue and no big deal to the center makes it even worse. My granddaughter has had a contact prescription in this Walmart at least 1-2 years. Her exam was done at another eye center, but we used Walmart to fill them. I went to the Vision Center this morning on my way to a dentist appointment thinking I’d easily pick them up for her, as she was out. I stopped in spoke with Kristi, who pulled up her file in the computer. She starts to fill them and says wow her prescription is showing good until 2025. Hmm, I bet they mixed up her refills with her glasses prescription. I, personally have no idea. She looks over to her co-worker, Darla, who was previously employed at the eye center where the she had her exam, and asks her if Dr ** would fill a contact prescription for 2 years.
Darla looks to me like she’s not sure, but says, "No, I think a year." So, kristi tells me she can’t fill this because in her heart she is sure this is a mistake and can’t legally fill this. But, if I want to call the dr and get a refill extension, then they can fill it. She also mentions something scanned into her file that looks like just a blank piece of paper. Possibly a renewal script? I don’t know, I don’t scan to their files. Like I said, I had a dentist appointment I needed to get to so I left a bit upset. After my appointment, I returned to work, caught up some things and called the eye center and asked the contact lens dept if her prescription was good or if it was an error. He assured me that it is good and okay to fill until April 2025.
I proceed to call the Walmart vision center and relay this to kristi, who replies with, "Oh good, just come back down and we’ll get that for you". So I leave work again, returned to the vision center, where Darla is the only one there. She’s pleasant to me and I tell her I need to pick up contacts, with which she says, okay. Then as she begins to walk to the computer, she said, "I’m trying to confirm thru the eye center but haven’t been able to get thru". I told I had no problem and if she wanted I could try them and get them on the line so she could speak with them. She says, "Oh no, we need the script faxed to us. So if you want to call and get them to do that, we’ll see if we can fill them".
I was not told by kristi when I called her before driving there, that I needed to do any of this, so I’m frustrated at this time, have not had lunch yet because of running back and forth, have a sister evacuating with her family on the way to my house, an audit going on at work, and a grandchild out of contacts that she needs so she can see the board at school. I take a deep breath, walk to the subway, which is in the store and is where Kristi so happens to be eating her lunch and I order a sub. While I am doing this, Darla comes to the subway and talks to Kristi, I can only assume about me, as she seemed surprised I was there. After I got my sub, I returned to the desk, and confirmed with Darla, that there was indeed a valid prescription in their computer system for the contacts that I needed to pick up, which I have picked up several times in the past year or so. She nods yes.
"So I can’t pick them up because you, think the Dr you may or may not have worked directly with made a mistake, even though no one else has ever mentioned this before. No one told me I needed to bring or have them fax any further proof when I called specifically called to let you know I was returning to pick them up. You can’t let me pick up one box until this can be sorted out for whatever reason?" All she was able to say was, "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry."
It’s not like this is an narcotic or harmful script that I can misuse or sell on the street and I have picked these up numerous times with no problems until today. Needless to say I was getting loud, I could feel my blood pressure rising and customers were starting to stare in our direction, so I just walked away and left. I went to the eye center which was quite a bit further away, which is why I had chosen to use Walmart vision center because it was closer to me. The eye center had the contacts I called about waiting for me and informed me they have had issues with Walmart lately so they figured I’d be coming in. Good for them!! I know my family’s little bit of business with Walmart vision is not going to hurt them but I, nor any of the rest of my family will return to use the Vision center again, nor will I recommend anyone to use them either.
I’m sad for this experience as I have always had positive interactions with Walmart, their pick up service, the delivery service and I’m a member of the Walmart Plus, but I do not recommend using the vision dept. They could have been more helpful and could have picked the phone up and verified the script as a customer service person would do. I feel this was a control issue with them and they weren’t going to check on anything. They had decided it didn’t matter they were not going to help me. That’s fine with me, because they don’t have to worry about helping me in the future.

This scratch resistance lens should last more than 5 months. I believe it is a defective product and should be covered. I can't recommend this optical store to anyone. Up until this point I've loved the glasses. Now I can't use them!!

I'm a long time Vision Center customer. I recently took back a pair of glasses I purchased that had a blurry spot making driving, reading, etc. challenging. When I went in to use the warranty, I was told the warranty went from 1 year to 60 days. That would have been something that would have been valuable information that should have been shared with me. I was narrowly over the 60-day limit and told they could not help me. I was asked if I had purchased the supplementary insurance. When I purchased the glasses, I was not told about the insurance. The insurance was very inexpensive. The service I got at the Vison Center was great, but through no fault of my own I feel very let down. Walmart actually at one time had amazing customer service, not so much anymore. Maybe had Walmart had better qualified people, I would have had insurance.

If you're ordering contacts, don't buy them thru Wal-Mart! Their turnaround time is awful! Even paying for expedited shipping it takes a couple of weeks for them to verify the prescription (even though I just ordered a month ago, it's been almost a week & the verification for the script is still pending). The first order was evidently on back order but I wasn't notified of the status when ordering. Furthermore, they don't like helping you in a store that your doctor doesn't come to (even with just ordering contacts or glasses they won't help you so it defeats the purpose of having easy access to a franchise).

When I got there I was told they no longer accepted my insurance. I had to go somewhere else to obtain a prescription. I made another trip back only to find they will no longer fill prescriptions with a prism factor above 3. I know I'm not the only person who needs a prism. Why would they do that? I then asked if I could get my lenses put into a new frame, I was told it was against the law. Again, I have done it there before when my frames had broken. Is this happening everywhere?

In less than two years, the glasses looked as though the finish was cloudy and were so bad I went back to a ten-year-old pair. In November 2022, I received my first pair. Only using Dawn dish detergent to clean them as recommended, by June 2023 the surface was cloudy as if looking through a glass bottle washed up on the beach. The store manager said it appeared the coating was properly applied. Luckily, I had purchased a warranty and they made me another paid.
Now it's April 2024 and the second pair is just as bad. Again, I only used Dawn to clean them using my fingers, and NEVER rubbed them with any towel or cloth, but merely blotted them on a micro fiber cloth to dry. In less than two years, two pair of glasses have utterly failed. The two pair of glasses I bought from Wal-Mart in 2014 look fine and I wear them now. Something has changed and it seems that the quality has collapsed. I will never buy another pair of glasses from Wal-Mart. I'd rather pay double and get a well-made pair of glasses than go blind looking through the cloudy, failed glasses from Wal-Mart.

I have purchased eyeglasses from Walmart for probably over 25 years. I recently had a bad fall in which I damaged one lens badly. When I took them in the girl told me the warranty was no longer good because it was over one year. Then she called another clerk over to us. They decided that the warranty was up but Nikon would replace the one lens anyway. I thought it was something special that Nikon did. After waiting a little over 4 weeks I called to see if my glasses were ready. No one really knew where they were. I called a couple of times, still no glasses.
Finally I talked to Sean (manager) and he tried to explain it. But from what I understand my glasses have been at that Walmart all this time. It was a horrible runaround and full of miscommunications. I will pick up my bent up frames, have them straightened—at another Walmart so it will be free of charge. Then I will buy new lenses at some place other than Walmart. They won’t replace the one broken lens because now my prescription is too old. So now I also need to get a new eye exam and a new prescription. Too much stress for me. Bye bye Walmart Vision Care.

On May 26th I accompanied my elderly relative (83) to the Optical Department at the Walmart branch at 3738 Battleground Ave in Greensboro, NC. The purpose of the visit was to pick up new glasses ordered earlier in the week. Unfortunately, what should have been a straightforward and pleasant experience turned out to be quite disheartening due to the insulting and condescending behavior displayed by the optician.
From the moment we entered the office, it was evident that the optician lacked empathy and patience when dealing with older patients. Rather than creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, their condescending tone and dismissive attitude were immediately noticeable. This set the tone for an experience that left a lasting negative impact.
Throughout the fitting process, the optician repeatedly displayed curt answers to my relative's basic questions about why they were having difficulty seeing with the new glasses, implying that their visual difficulties were due to an ignorance of how someone adjusted to new glasses rather than an issue with the quality of the glasses themselves, in other words a “blame the victim” attitude. Such comments not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also exhibited a complete disregard for the dignity and self-esteem of my elderly relative, who grew obviously stressed and frustrated with the optician’s attitude.
Additionally, the optician appeared rushed and disinterested in addressing any of my relative's concerns and questions. Instead of offering reassurance and guidance, they seemed impatient, disregarding the importance of ensuring the glasses were comfortable and adequately meeting my relative's visual needs. Two other patients watching the proceedings repeatedly shook their heads at the optician’s behavior.
It is essential for healthcare professionals, including opticians, to understand the unique challenges faced by elderly patients and to treat them with respect and empathy. Older individuals often require additional time and support, and their concerns should be met with patience and understanding. I strongly believe that the optician's insulting behavior not only tarnished the overall experience but also reflects poorly on Walmart’s Optical Department as a whole. Elderly patients, like anyone else, deserve to be treated with kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
In conclusion, my relative's visit to the optician's office was marred by insulting behavior and a lack of sensitivity towards their needs. It is my hope that this review serves as a reminder for opticians and other healthcare professionals to prioritize empathy and respect when interacting with elderly patients and will be addressed by Walmart’s management.

I walk into Walmart to go buy some. They don’t have any in stock and was like, "Oh okay" and then they said they would mail them so I gave them my address which is a P.O. Box because our towns don’t have mailboxes or technically street addresses for due to the town size.. So I couldn’t get them mailed to me because I use a P.O. Box. It’s not my fault that’s where my mail goes…
But the Biofinity Cooper vision is hard to take out of my eyes so I asked if I could change the brand and they said I would have to go back to my eye doctor and get them to change brands… But he told me they were just a sample pair and it I didn’t like them. I could switch to another brand.. But guess that was wrong as well.. So I spent $300 on a prescription I’ve already had that’s pointless to have to get renewed every year especially when you work for yourself and don’t have insurance… I could of just spent $20 to get my prescription renewed then ordered new contacts online and saved myself $200 in the long run… It may be a decent place for glasses but absolutely the worse for contacts..

This optometrist is engaging in illegal practices. He is giving you an abridged version of your prescription, which prevents you from purchasing eyeglasses or contacts from anywhere but his office. When you call and ask for your PD measurement, which is needed for eyeglasses but is missing, the rude receptionist says that he doesn't provide that information... it's withheld for his use only. He does the same for your contact lens prescription. He doesn't provide your diameter measurement. This renders the illegally written prescriptions useless. Without these two measurements, you cannot purchase eyeglasses nor contacts. This is a violation of FTC regulations.
The FTC's Eyeglass Rule and Contact Lens Rule require optometrists to provide patients with their glasses prescription at the end of their eye exam. A contact lens prescription must be provided after the contact fitting is complete. The doctor cannot make you pay an extra fee, buy eyeglasses or contact lenses, or sign a waiver or form. Withholding vital information from a patient is illegal.

We entered where you come in and schedule for appointments and were told to go to the other area to get what we came for. The young lady was pleasant and walked us to the other part of the vision center to see about the glasses.
Upon entering, we walked over to their register and a gentleman asked if he could help us? As my brother tried to explain that he came either to get fitted for frames or to pick up his glasses. The gentleman said he do not have any information about it. So, my brother gave his name and his ID. The gentleman said again that he didn't have any information on it and that he is the manager and he said that he still didn't have any information on it. I asked him, "Well how can you tell if you have not looked it up in your system?" He stuck to what he was saying so I told him that we were directed to come over here.
My brother explained to him that he came on Monday of last week and had taken the eye exam and everything was paid for. The manager never looked anything up and sent us away without even looking anything up in their system. So, I asked for a business card, which he gave. As we exited the store we could not help but feel discriminated against simply because of our skin color.
When we got into the car, we thought about what had just happened, so we went in to where we first talked to someone. I told the young lady what happened with the manager how he never looked up for any information. She replied with, "How can he say that if he didn't look it up?" She sent us back around to the area where the manager was. This time a young lady sitting in the glass area, asked if she could help us? We told her the same thing that we told the manager and she said I remember you to my brother. He told her his name and she went and got his glasses. The manager was sitting there at his seat and would not even look at us or offer up an apology. He just sat turning red in the face.
The young lady had my brother to try on his glasses and adjusted them a little and explained to him about the one year warranty and his case for his glasses and we were on our way. We looked over to the manager and he still would not look at us. So, I said to my brother loud enough so the manager could hear me, that systemic racism is a problem in our country. So we left satisfied that someone helped us but, hurt because the one who is supposed to be the manager has no respect for some people. I told my brother that we are not going to make a scene but rather file a complaint or maybe file a discrimination lawsuit against Walmart Vision Center and the manager Ricky **. I found some frames I really liked and ordered some, they came in less than a week but when I received them, one eye was blurry. So now I have to wait another week for them to fix it. They had one job, a simple task and they messed it up. I won’t be coming here again considering they can’t follow simple tasks.

I love the frames! But I couldn’t see so I took the glasses to my eye doctor to find out they were not made right. They cut off the bifocals so these $500.00 glasses were worthless to me! So I had to get a full refund! I will never use Walmart optical again! These people are suppose to be professional! I very disappointed!

I went to get a contact lens exam and on my way out asked the eyewear person if they could do me a favor and adjust my glasses since they were loose! She took a while to come back and handed my glasses to me to try on. Both lenses were damaged and apparently burned and had a stress fracture from her putting too much pressure on the sides. I was devastated and when I told her she said “I didn’t do anything to your glasses”. Well after back and forth for 10 minutes I left to get my composure. I returned to ask for a manager.
Amy was very rude because she knew why I was back. She said that when I got my glasses adjusted it was at my own risk. Especially since I didn’t buy them there. I just got them and they were very expensive lenses. I could not believe they didn’t want to accept their responsibility. There is no way I could have driven there with them like this. It was an obvious burn and damage caused by her heating them too much and pushing them together to tighten them. I will be calling Vision Center Corporate tomorrow. Stay tuned. By the way this was the Vision Center in Easton PA. Don’t ever go there unless you want to be disappointed and out $300!!!!

I bought some prescription glasses from Walmart in Naples FL. They were ready in a week. Great. I went to pick them up on a Saturday. They wouldn't give them to me because the optician or someone didn't feel like coming into work that day. I dropped by this morning at 9:05am and they were closed despite the fact that they advertise opening at 9:00. I got someone on the phone at 9:30 to get a time for picking them up. Again, the optician didn't feel like coming to work today. I need to call tomorrow to get a refund because the guy on the phone didn't know how to do it. This place is a complete waste of your time.

The wife and I purchased new glasses. Neither of us can use glasses. She has had hers redone three times and is using her old glasses. I went back three times because I can only see in the bottom 1/4" of lens. I have to lift my head up and point my eyes down. This hurts one neck after awhile. I am using A dollar pair of glasses. They keep telling me nothing is wrong with glasses.

It was eventually resolved but was also a massive headache. It was more of the external department than the vision center itself.

They messed up one of my lenses and sent them back. Now they're in fighting about doing my glasses over. I spent 250 per pair. I can get them cheaper elsewhere. Avoid this place. I want a refund and will push for one later this week if they can't get it together. Absolutely horrid.

Got my glasses with lenses from Walmart Vision Center in Harbour Landing Regina, SK. Although it is an option to decline the product after paying in full the total before receiving the my glasses everything was said and done to prevent me from making that decision including possibly not receiving a full refund. I very much regret not taking the opportunity and risk of a partial refund. At 54 yrs old and wearing glasses since I was 6 years of age, these are by far the worst glasses I have ever paid for. I voiced my concern at that time that either the wrong prescription was sent to manufacturer to have my lenses made or they were made wrong. I have a difficult and strong prescription, but I wake up every day not looking forward to the frequent headaches I have with these lenses.
I visit both Harbour landing and Regina North location to have my frames adjusted regularly in hopes of it helping despite what I am made to feel is an inconvenience to the employees. My bifocal digital prescription glasses are at minimum $650, plus frames if I choose to purchase new frames. At the time of buying these glasses I could not afford $900 plus so I visited Walmart for my lenses as I had in the past, but not with the same experience or quality of lenses. I have another 11 months 28 days before my insurance will partially cover a new set of glasses, so I am unable to pay the considerably higher prices elsewhere for a new pair. I just wanted express my frustration, disappointment and pain in hopes of helping others who are thinking about Walmart vision.

Shortly after getting my new glasses from Walmart vision center in Richmond Missouri I noticed blurring of vision in my left eye. On my next trip I stopped by and asked the attendant if they'd check to make sure my prescription had been filled correctly. She told me they were too busy with customers and I would have to come back. There was no one in the place. I wanted to use wifi and she permitted me to sit while doing so. 5 minutes go by and someone comes out of the eye Dr. exam room. I asked her could he check my glasses against the prescription. She stated he had customers with appointments and I would have to come back some other time.
I finished up with my use of the wifi, the other customer She was attending had already left. I went outside the vision center and waited. 20 more minutes went by before someone else walked in, they went into the exam room. No one else came out. For $300+ dollars for eyewear this is very poor service indeed. Pandemic or not. David D. Henrietta, Missouri 64036

I brought in a prescription from my eye doctor I see annually for possible diabetes complications. Last visit I was told my prescription had not changed since the year before. I ordered glasses from Walmart based on that prescription. I cannot wear the glasses as things are blurry. I went back to check accuracy of the lenses, and was told I probably have other problems like cataracts or other related causes, but yet my old glasses were just fine. Also I can see out of the left side of the lenses, so why not all of the lens. I have an appointment with my eye doctor this week. so I will know more. Walmart employees were telling me that I surely had a personal problem causing their glasses to be blurry, but not anything they could have done wrong, instead to advising me to go back to my doctor to check my vision and their glasses. We'll see.
Also, I am blind in my left eye, but yet was told I had to pay the 180 dollars for the same corrective lens as the right eye. So how in the world does that make sense to anyone. I can't see, but have to pay for a corrective lens? Asking for my complaint to the BBB. I called in to Walmart vision customer complaint department and they said they would get back to me within 24 hours. That was 5 days ago.

I went to Walmart Vision Center in Fitzgerald Georgia a couple of months back to get my exam and glasses. It took me 3 times to get my glasses right then 3 weeks ago I carried them back because the lenses were scratched so bad I couldn't see out of them. The lady told me they were out of warranty. I said, "Ok. I will pay for them out of pocket." We discussed polycarbon lenses. She said she would take care of it so after 3 weeks with no call from them I made several call to them. They said my glasses were ready.
I got up there and they hadn't even changed the lenses out. They still had the scratched lenses on the left side. She said, "The Dr. changed the script in the left eye so we changed the lens at no charge." I said, "No. I brought them because they were scratched and I needed new lenses. As a matter of fact I talked to you." She then proceeded to tell me the Dr. changed the script again. I said, "No ma'am. I didn't need the script changed." She was very rude. I finally just asked for a copy of my script so I could go elsewhere. Worst experience of my life.

Bought top of the line glasses, about $650.00. Two attendants. Due to Covid, they are behind rope barrier. You have to wave & call out to get them to come up to barrier, then although no one is in their lobby, make an appointment & return for service. Was first told that glasses would be in Feb 4th. A two week wait. Called to make appointment for 4th & was told glasses did not pass inspection, would be in 13th. They called back couple of days later and they were in on the 7th.
Went to pick up glasses. Waited outside barrier about thirty minutes. Told they had to assemble glasses. Told them they should have done that before I got there. Attendant brought glasses over to barrier and handed them to me. I asked that should we not sit down and adjust glasses to fit. Only then did attendant do the Covid precautions and I was allowed to enter work area for proper fitting. Glasses are OK but customer service is absolutely minimal and then you have to prompt and ask. For the prices they charge you are much better off with a professional provider. I've had eye exams at Walmart Vision Center for almost 10 years. Purchased from WVC probably 8 years. Covid-19 protocols have made the process tedious but totally understandable for everyone's health and safety. From eye exam to finally picking up 2 pairs of glasses ($ 550.00 my frames) approx 2 months. Today I picked up my glasses at a counter, not seated and fitted for proper prescription alignment, or frame comfort for that matter. I was surprised and put out. I felt as though I was getting the best outcome from the technician's point of view. But this bothered me, so when I got home I called to make an appt for a "fitting". The very tech that just handed me my glasses was surprised that my visit did not include a proper fitting. When I told her she was the person who served me, she asked why I didn't say anything if I had issues with the pick-up?
I told her that I understood new protocols were in place with Covid -19, and was not aware I had to ask for a service I had always received when picking up prescription glasses. She simply brought my glasses to me, didn't ask how the fit was, how was my point of vision with the scrip, I did question my eyesight in my left eye, she started to run off to get something for me to read...Didn't ask me to sit down to better assess my vision concern...I was upset, felt like I was putting her out, I said, "Never mind" and left. On the phone she agreed the new protocol made things different, but that if I had a problem I SHOULD HAVE SAID SO, I didn't agree at that time, and I feel professional technical service was truly lacking.
I made a 4th appointment for my glasses, but this tech did not feel concerned or apologetic at my reaction to the poor service I spoke of or my mistaken belief that customer service is part of her contribution to the whole experience. It was my fault, so what if I had to wait months for the end of this process, so what if I have to return a second time to have glasses fitted properly. A very disappointing visit to the Walmart Vision Center. I may have to rethink my next eye exam. I'm sorry Dr **.

People say "Walmart for glasses?" They have an optometrist on site that assesses you. They have many glasses in stock or can have them ready in a day. The prices beat anywhere else. They accept many insurances. So you get quality eyewear, a proper eye test, a good price, great service and you can see again!

One thing that all Walmart Vision Centers have in common is that the people who work there are mostly lazy, stupid, inattentive and unhelpful. I told them that if they call my insurance company for prior authorization for retinal imaging, my company would pay for it. But no, they knew better and refused to call. Later, my insurance company confirmed that yes, they would have paid for it if Walmart had called for prior authorization, but it was too late after the fact. So I paid $20 for nothing. Perhaps Walmart Vision Center makes more money this way, so maybe they're just crooks. This will be the LAST TIME I ever set foot in a Walmart Vision Center. Idiots.
