Point blank, you won't find a match on bumble. I was foolish enough to pay for a subscription, and that's on me. But only getting few matches and all from out of state? I understand bumble can't control the dating pool....but save yourself time and money. I've had had more interactions with ladies at my local gym than bumble.

Customer Service is AWFUL. They automatically renew your subscription even when your cc is removed from the Bumble app and you have removed your subscription from Apple Iphone subscriptions - then when questioned about a refund they refused. For something to have such a wonderful story behind you are putting the background investments and owners to shame. It is an awful product with awful customer service - would 100% NOT recommend. I have also reported the disputed charge to my bank, the BBB, attorney general's office and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I will make sure this in all the publications and feeds I can produce. Absolutely ridiculous business practices.

I have never given one star for any website before. But using the Bumble app was the worst dating experience of my life. I received two likes after several days, neither of which messaged me. I have heard that dating for most men has become impossible after MeToo and Covid, but I wanted to find out for myself. Because it is a looks-based swipe app, like Tinder, and women control communication, with filters set impossibly high, I would only suggest this app for men who are in the top 20% to 30% of SMV. I am in shape, healthy. I have an advanced degree and a well-paying job. I also look 15 to 20 years younger than my age. In the past, I was swamped with dates. Yet, today, crickets - even from women my own age.

Bumble is currently taking part in artificially inflating the traffic on their app by creating fake profiles. Most of these profiles are also ID verified. Bumble is so brazen about their fraud, they even have the audacity to put Bumble watermarks in the upper right hand corners of all the fake profiles they've created. Bumble in reality is a dead dating app that has been artificially propped up by fake accounts, created by the owners of the company themselves. And it's proof of this, because all their fake profiles, including the ID verified fake profiles, have the Bumble watermark featured in the right hand corner of every photo on these fake accounts. The fact that Bumble is still allowed to sell a lifetime subscription to their app, while committing this fraud, is an atrocity and it should be looked into by the Better Business Bureau and the FBI.

I was banned on Bumble after I unmatched a lady from Africa. I told her I wasn’t interested and I told her nicely to leave me alone and within mins I was banned by bumble under my phone number. I didn’t do anything wrong. I wasn’t rude at all. This woman can’t take a rejection and falsely reporting me for being rude which is false

Completely fraudulent. They have been charging me weekly premium of $17.99 when I cancelled my premium in December 24. Anyone else want to start a class action suit? They’re already got a few out there. I’m sick of all the work lost spending time on calls with my ccs - not to mention the time on an app filled with their scammers, ai, catfish, etc. Even if I’d met the perfect person, they are still illegally charging my card.

I took all steps on the app and in the App Store to ensure my subscription was cancelled yet was billed for a renewal anyway. Before deleting the app ensure you remove payment info from the billing profile.

I bought Bumble premium in the afternoon on June 27th and then tried to cancel the subscription later that same day so I wouldn't be charged for July. I couldn't find a "cancel subscription" button anywhere in the app, so I went to my PayPal account and pressed the "request cancellation" button. Paypal then instructed me to email the bumble-paypal-us@team.bumble.com address to cancel my subscription. I emailed that Bumble address on June 27th asking how to cancel my Bumble premium subscription and never received a response. Bumble charged my account almost $40 in July despite the fact that I took every reasonable step I knew how to take to cancel the subscription and avoid a July charge. You're not going to find what you're looking for on Bumble. Don't bother giving them your time/money.

Not enough people so I renewed my subscription and after paying another week these clown still had no women and I bet now that I'm canceling my subscription there will be 100s of profiles with minimal likes just to get me to subscribe and when I do pay it will go back to zero. Bumble is a scam.

Yep this company is evil, I have to close my bank account to stop them from stealing my money, what a joke. In this day and age how are companies like this allowed???? I cancelled my Bumble account to stop renewal and they still stole 80 bucks from me. I contacted them and they told me, "Too bad," now I have to close my bank account because this company is evil!!!! Beware.

I did Match a couple of years ago and had some decent dates. But for some reason I couldn't reactivate my profile and their customer service didn't bother getting back to me so I tried Bumble. Only matched with two guys within 50 miles. I got tons of likes and compliments and chats right away but everyone is over 50 miles away. The two local guys were weird. One started eating from my plate without asking first and was super aggressive and argumentative. Bad dates. I don't think they have enough reach where I live and I think they should have to disclose how many members they actually have. I'm going on a couple of dates with the distance guys but I expect to shut this down soon and just take up golf or something.

Bumble is seriously terrible. VERY disappointed, wished I did more research. Foolishly got the three-month premium. Definitely will not allow them to hit my credit card again. Far too many fake profiles, and pushing non-matches. It's a problem.

Horrible app. Can't filter your matches by race/ ethnicity or political affiliation. Ridiculous. 🙄 And they won't let me use a sporting clays event on my profile, a hobby that's a big part of my life, claiming it is "violence". No thanks to woke apps.😡

I recommend not using Bumble. It is a good site, however after cancelling my subscription and advising them to renew, they automatically charged my credit card for a further 6 month renewal. Worse than that, I exchanged several emails with them and they refused to refund this automatic charge. I have now placed them as “fraudulent” on my Visa, as I have no confidence that they won’t do it again. Do not give them your credit card or auto payment options. For the small amount of $169 CDN$, they have lost a future client. I would never recommend them to anyone who asks my opinion. I further advised them that I would report them as a fraudulent account which I have done and write negative reviews. They still refused to refund me. BTW, I cancelled Match.com at the same time and have had no issues.

It’s a horrible app for women, I’m a woman, and it’s by far the worst dating app, stop saying it’s great for women! So expensive, and or the free version does nothing, can’t see like, can’t get messages or super swiped whatever that is… 💯 of the men are either AI or fake accounts. Would not pay for this app again. It’s the worst app for dating. Nothing about this app actually works.

I used Bumble 9 months and loved it. Did a good profile - lots of local and far away responses and met a few men. I had 53% returns from men interested who I "liked". The past 3 months I have no responses - despite I have increased the men I chose to like. I was concerned so contacted a friend who said he never received it. Contacted bumble who said my profile was my problem.. WHY did I get get 53% interest in the same profile the 8 months prior???

I had not heard of Bumble as a dating app and at dinner party someone mentioned it to me. I signed up for three months. One of the features I like the best is I traveled during that three months, and it would relocate me geographically and present possible matches in that geographical area. I was in Park City, Utah and went out with a nice man for coffee. I was in Indonesia and met a lovely man from Australia that I continue to correspond with, but the best was just as my three months were ending I found my person.
My impression of the men who were looking for possible relationships on bumble are a little more sincere than on some of the other dating apps. It was easy to use although sometimes it was a bit frustrating that if you didn’t indicate an interest, you didn’t get the opportunity to view the profile again or I didn’t understand how to do it. I know there’s a lot of mixed feelings about dating apps and I’ve had them myself, but I never would’ve met this person if I had not been on a dating app we do not live close together. I’m a very socially active person, but really was not able to meet someone with my interests and values through my social activities.

I figured after 2 dozen dating sites that have been hit and mostly missed, that I would try Bumble. Been on about 2 months and a guestimate of sending 450 plus likes, I have had zero replies, likes, comments, etc. Nothing. Getting "verified" is an ordeal and whom I want to date still yields a mixed bag. I can not decipher what to pay for, but, honestly, guys, we can do better. Maybe I really am not the gentleman ladies seek.😞

No means no. A blocked profile means a blocked profile. If your child, sister, Mom said no to a man at the park, work, or restaurant, would like him to show up around the corner approaching them again? No? Didn't think so.

Bumble will never get my business again. Between the advertising campaign's criticizing a women's right to be celibate, they now have ignored our safety concerns by recycling who we "block". The profiles of known abusers, creeps and profiles we just don't want to see again reappear, and their response to inquiries is we "might change out minds". Uh, no. I've endured enough gaslighting, and I don't need that from a billion dollar company that was established to "keep women safe".

Bumble’s "women message first" rule sounds good in theory, but in practice, it just leads to expired matches and wasted time. The app feels slow and clunky compared to Datemio, where connections happen😊 instantly and the interface is smooth. Limited daily swipes and constant paywalls make the experience feel restrictive. Fake profiles and inactive users are still a problem. Unless you enjoy waiting around for nothing, I’d skip Bumble and try a better alternative. Disappointing, to say the least.

I totally agree with Holly's review I just read. For some reason, I can no longer send or receive messages, "something needs fixing" but of course, something else is occurring. I keep writing their support, but they keep giving me replies that they don't know who I am. I've given them everything about me, it should be easy for them to look me up based on my email address. They have my verify profile, photos, name, age, where I live... do they want my bank account numbers too? You can't call anyone either. All this information about me now over the internet! Are they lying about not identifying me?

I signed up with Bumble on 3/19 and on 3/22 my profile was blocked. They have no customer service number so I sent a message to their support team for more information. I received a canned response that my email address wasn’t recognized and they needed the phone number attached to my account. I provided that and received the same canned response. I paid $190 for their services and only had the use of it for three days! They have a policy of not giving refunds and I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Horrible customer service. They state you can deactivate your paid premium subscription with 24 hour notice and I tried to give 2 days notice when I was having trouble canceling the app. Finally went to a DESKTOP version and was able to cancel but NOT after being charged WHILE waiting for customer service to get back to me. I am disputing the charges with my bank and I'd like to advise you to NOT subscribe - take your chances with the free app, if you must use it. There is no timely customer service and it is extremely difficult to cancel a subscription.

Bumble is a breeding ground for identity theft. My info erased, and my account closed. They deleted my account causing me to create a new one. All my matches and conversation gone. They do this when you don't buy a subscription or spend money with them. When I got to the end of the registration they require you to use the phone app.
At this point I don't want the account so I emailed them and they said they need to verify me. They asked for the registration date. I gave them 2/21/2025. They claim that's the wrong date. They had to text me a code. They also emailed me when I was setting up the account. It was 2/21/2025 clearly but they want a copy of my ID. I did not give you my ID to open this account. You used code via phone and my email. You are a scam and you steal people's information using unfair and deceptive acts. This is unbelievable what I am facing just to close an account. I would never give them my ID or a credit card. The customer support is a joke.

Signed up, paid for their Premium Plus service, which they charged me $39.99 for when the app says it’s $29.99. But the real issue is, my Premium Plus services never activated. So I emailed customer service, long story short, about 5 days into my Premium Plus service, I still have not received any of the premium services and they have not refunded me. So they literally took $39.99 from me, did not provide me with the service I purchased and now is refusing to activate my premium service or refund my money. So yea, straight up scammed by Bumble.
