I have two children that were in need of an alternative educational experience once the pandemic shut down their schools. End of the story is they both finished high school in three years and my oldest is currently in college and my youngest has already been accepted into her college of choice and is scheduled to start in September. My older child is in her second semester and scored a 4.0 GPA for her first semester of college.

My daughter joined Whitmore 3yrs ago when she was facing medical challenges that made it impossible for her to attend physical school and complete assignments promptly. My daughter got a medical cure over the course of time and has returned back to normal way of living. Through the whole ordeal, Whitmore worked with her/us step by step and at my daughter's pace too. My daughter is smarter, more intelligent, and college ready because of the exceptional educational services/classes at Whitmore. Started with a GPA of 2.20 and ending at a GPA 3.40. Yes she is college ready!!!

My son is taking courses one by one with the study-at-home program, and he's doing excellent. He likes it a lot, and the cost is great compared to others as well. He was in Laurel Springs before, which is another online school, and you get as much involvement from teachers at Whitmore for less than 25% of the cost. They respond within one or two hours.

The enrollment process was very easy and simple. They walked me through all the steps and it was pretty seamless. The personnel was very informative. They kept me up to date and were always there to answer any questions. Also, my son really enjoys it. He ahs taken Algebra 1, World History Honors, Geography, and a Government.

We like that Whitmore is accredited. We also like their schooling options. There are so many online schools now but Whitmore's program offered honors classes which we found a lot of free schools and even some of the ones that cost money didn't offer. Our daughter's in her sophomore year right now. For her junior and senior year, one of the things they offer in the more elevated program is help with college tests. Some of the programs that we know offered good classes, but you had to log in so many times a week or so many times a day and that minimized things because our daughter was having a baby and we didn't know when that was going to happen. With Whitmore, we like the flexibility of the schedule, the classes and the other things that they offer.

Whitmore School is a good online option. Our daughter's taking a full senior year of courses and they're challenging but very good.

Our son's had a positive experience with all the courses at Whitmore. One course has been a little bit more challenging than the others. But overall, it's been a great experience. I would recommend it.

The enrollment process at Whitmore was super easy. My son has a medical condition. I like the fact that he could do it from home. It was a total game-changer. They're really good at Whitmore about making sure that he understands the material. It's not like, “Okay, do your assignment and you're done.” They communicate with him really well. They follow-up. They really try to get the students to be accountable for all the communication. They have an awesome program and they have it really well organized.

Going to Whitmore was safer for me. I didn't feel safe going to regular high school, because I don't like to communicate with others. Their enrollment process was really easy. We just had to send out information about myself and where I lived, and I was good. I took United States History Honors and it's going well so far. I took Algebra 1, which is really difficult to understand. For the math teacher, whenever I tell her about how I don't understand, sometimes she just repeats the same thing she said before and doesn't explain it more thoroughly. Because for sixth grade and seventh, the math was really messed up in my school, so I didn't really learn anything. I hope that she can go a little easier and explain a little slower and better. But all the English courses I've taken are really easy and I love them.

The enrollment process at Whitmore was easy. We did most of it online. The communication was mostly by email. It's a good option if you can afford it and you have a lousy local school system.

Going to Whitmore has its pros and cons. I like that my daughter can go at her own pace, but I dislike that she's going to be graduating a year late. I like that she doesn't have tests, but I dislike that it takes so long to finish a lesson to go on to the next lesson. You can't just take a bad grade, on a test and say, “I got a 60 on that. Now, I'm going on.” If you really don't know the material, you're stuck and behind. If you are not likely to ask for help, which is my daughter, then it's a struggle. But she's happy with it. It's expensive, but it's worth it.

We were looking for an online high school for our daughter. In the end, we decided on Whitmore School. And I think we did well. Communication with the school is excellent. I appreciate the work of her school counselor. Karolina does not have English as her native language. Studying is therefore a bit more demanding for her. Nevertheless, she is excited, looking forward to every answer from the teacher. The teachers are amazing. She enjoys studying. Thanks Whitmore.

My son was having difficulties in his own high school and still is. We decided to go online. Whitmore seems to be more highly rated. I have had a lot of good conversations with the teachers and the counselors, and they're always quick to respond. Everything is going well with Whitmore. My child has learning disabilities. So, we explained this to all of his teachers, and they're very understanding. In the beginning, I thought this was just going to be a temporary deal but now, as I continue to deal with the schools, I think this is going to be more of a permanent deal. It’s great. I like that when my son doesn’t understand something, or if he needs some help, his mother or I help him out tremendously.

I love Whitmore. I am one of their adult learners because when I was in high school, I got really sick and had to withdraw from public school. I couldn't afford treatment at that time for my illnesses, so I never got to finish high school. So, now that I got treatment a couple of years ago, and I'm doing much better, and I get the option to do high school, but sort of traditional way, and not go from a GED but take courses, earn credits, learn, and build a transcript to apply to colleges. I’m so grateful that they have that opportunity. It's amazing.

We were pleasantly surprised with the rigor about the instruction. It was a no-brainer. Whitmore was one of the best schools that we could find online. Anytime that I had a question, I could email the counselor. And there was a question about grading at one point, and there was a mistake. It was for a Spanish grade. When you’re there, you can revise. When you finish, you can get the revised score. And that score was not changed online. One of the main people called me the next day and apologized, and it was fixed. It was just a question regarding their grading policy, and there was a new teacher that had a misunderstanding. But she was grateful that we brought it to her attention. And they fixed it. It was a new Spanish teacher. So, very minor.

Whitmore School gives us the flexibility of my daughter being able to travel back and forth. It also gives my daughter flexibility of being able to train in competitive freestyle whitewater kayaking when the water's on because the water's a different schedule. She's able to get up and train and be on the water when the water's running and be able to do school in the mornings when it's turned off. Whitmore helps with that.

We love Whitmore School. We love the flexibility. I've overheard a few of the classes and now, I want to actively listen in on some of them because the lectures are so spot-on and comprehensive.

Enrolling online was very simple. My child likes the online learning.

It's a little difficult because my daughter is kind of at her own pace and it doesn't really tend to keep her on task. Also, there are some concepts that are a little more difficult to get in an online environment. But overall, it's been a good experience and the cost was reasonable.

Enrolling was easy. I spoke with one of the counselors and he went over some information with me. I went online and I just signed up. Working with the personnel went very well. When my daughter was sick last December, I called them because she wasn't gonna do school for a week or two and they were very helpful. My daughter's learning experience has been very good and they're even preparing her more for college with the thorough research, going back and forth with the teachers, and being able to communicate with them when she can't understand something. I also like that they have an extra math tutor you can sign up for. That was very helpful because she's able to communicate back and forth with the math teachers and the other teachers too to get her work done. I've been telling a couple of my friends who also homeschool their kids to sign up with them.

Whitmore became a great fit for our son, especially their mastery-based instruction. Some classes tailed longer than other classes did, but he had to get it right. There were times when teachers would come back a dozen different times saying, “No, this isn't right. No, you did this incorrectly. No, you got to redo this.” We look back on the last two years, and we are convinced that he got a much better education than his peers did in public high school. He had a term paper due for the end of his senior year. That was a big project and he was working harder. The standards did not waver, which I loved. I respect the fact that they were expecting a certain level of quality of work from him throughout and that was great.

Everything's going very well with our experience with Whitmore. A lot of communication via emails. My child's doing very well. Her anxiety has decreased. She doesn't get stressed out about her school. It's been a positive influence on her.

My brother went to Whitmore School when he was in high school. It worked out for our family very well. So I thought I'd try it for mine. The signup process was explained to us very well. It was easy to do. My child's taking English 9, History and Algebra 1. The quality of the education is very comparable to the cost. The cost was pretty good for an online school.

The flexibility is working out really well for us. My child is working at his own pace and he's doing well.

The classes that are offered are great. The only concern that I had is that my son needed two and a half credits to finish and when he started the program, they told me he needed four and a half. So it was gonna go a little longer than I anticipated. Other than that, my son loves Whitmore. He likes history and the flexibility of being able to work all day if he wants and then work at night and then work on the weekends.

My daughter loves Whitmore but she can only do the online chatting. She never has a chance for one-to-one talk time and there is a limit where she can do Math. So, I didn’t add tutoring for it. It was useless for our case. My daughter thinks Whitmore is harder for her but she figured it out and slowly, she caught up and liked it. As her parent, the only thing I'm concerned about is that there's no interaction but in that case, we may have to pay more tuition. I understand that. So, other than that, we are good.

I like that Whitmore was accredited so that all of my child's previous credits from high school going to public schooling would transfer and she could get a diploma when she graduated. I also like the fact that she has teachers that connect with her, that she has communication with them, and she can do her schooling whenever is convenient for her. The courses that she's taken are business English, photography, government, and performing arts.

We highly recommend Whitmore! We were worried before signing up that the classes might not be challenging enough for our daughter, but she had to work hard... and probably even a little harder than she wanted to. We cannot stress how grateful we are that we added the Math tutor option. Unless you are or have access to a Math genius 24/7 I strongly recommend the tutor plan. Beth, our guidance counselor, managed to do just the right amount of encouraging and nudging when needed. Our daughter had a couple of exceptional teachers whose feedback and encouragement made the classes feel much more interactive than we expected.

The enrollment process was very smooth. We got the transcripts, and we heard a reply very quickly. My children took high school courses, and they've done outstanding. My oldest daughter graduated this year, and she's an A student. Whitmore was excellent. It's wonderful that the teachers really get back to the students quickly. I've noticed that the teachers will even respond and check students’ work even on weekends and evenings.

There are parts of Whitmore School that have worked really well for us, and others just haven't suited my son as well as we had hoped. We're probably going to be going in a different direction next year. My son likes its flexibility. He liked the course offerings that they have. He likes the format of the school for the most part. He doesn't mind being on the computer.

Whitmore seemed to have the most support for my son and it seemed to match our thinking the most. When he was with the school district and we were in lockdown and he was doing online school for a year, Whitmore matched that same process. I also liked that their website mentioned that they want our son to learn and they're not going to go forward until he's mastered the concept. I liked that in theory, and then I found it to be absolutely true, that's what they were doing with my son and it has worked out tremendously well. He's had World Geography, English one, two, three, four, American government class and a career readiness class. It's been great. I've seen him become even more engaged with what he's learning. Every other day or so, he'd come, "Mom, I learned this today," or, "Did you know this?" The price I pay is a good deal for the quality that our son is receiving for his education.

Whitmore is reasonably priced. The enrollment process wasn't complicated. My child had to take some preliminary screening things and had to get his transcript. He has taken four courses - English, history, and two electives. He's doing well.

My daughter was a sophomore when the pandemic hit. Prior to Whitmore, she had been in a public school through elementary, then we switched to private for junior high and the beginning of high school. Then when the pandemic hit, we switched again. So, she's had every experience. But when the pandemic hit and she was handling her academics at home with no problem, and she really enjoyed it. What I was paying at her private school, about two months of that tuition was equivalent to an entire year's tuition at Whitmore. Also, the curriculum was, by leaps and bounds, so much better than the private school. So it was not questionable for us at all when she started. The feedback that we got from the teachers was amazing. Everything was so quick, especially getting ahold of the school itself. They were wonderful. It was a wonderful experience.

My son is autistic with ADHD and struggles in an actual school environment. After doing some research, we chose Whitmore. It seemed to fit us. The enrollment process was very easy. Everybody was extremely helpful. My son seems to enjoy the experience. He's able to do it at his own pace, which is perfect for him. The courses are challenging, but they're not overly challenging to where he can't complete them. The teachers are all very responsive, as the guidance counselor. Overall, we're very happy.

I sent Whitmore an email and they responded right away. They sent me the necessary forms to fill. I spoke to someone, and they walked me through it. I like Whitmore and my daughter likes it as well. It's affordable and the quality is one of the best. She's doing English, History, Creative Arts, and Math. So far, it’s been okay. The only difficulty is in Math.

I talked to the person in the counseling department and she gave me the overview of the school. I wish Whitmore had called me earlier. When I found out their approach to teaching, that pulled me to it. There was no other choice for me. I talk about what a good school it is. Compared to public education, it's not even a little bit on the same level. So, I'm very satisfied with my choice. Whitmore is a great school.

The enrollment experience at Whitmore was super easy. They've always been very responsive and quick, in giving me great information no matter how many times I asked the same questions. My child's enrolled in her first six credits through them. She's taken junior year classes like English 11, Anatomy and Physiology, US History, Government and Algebra. It's been fantastic. She's been very disciplined and moving through the classes at a good pace. I love that the teachers give their feedback and offer opportunities for revision, but she can master the content. We've gotten absolutely great service and quality of education for the cost. I would absolutely recommend Whitmore.

This is the first year that we've enrolled online school program. We've been very pleased with Whitmore. Before the class starts, the teachers do a lot of interaction, understanding what your child’s learning style is, and wanting them to understand that they can ask questions at any time. It's a mastery-based program so my kids usually have some interaction with almost all their teachers for each assignment. Sometimes the teacher will have them redo something so it involves communication back and forth. I've been pleased, pleasantly surprised and pleased with all that. The whole school is extremely responsive. The principal called me one time just to see how things are going. So they've been very communicative.

My daughter looked into Whitmore School. And she has liked it. She’s learning a lot. But she said it’s too much. It has been a little overwhelming. And she's an A student, too. There’s too much they’re asking. And it doesn’t seem like she’s getting a lot of help like it was with the other school. When she would ask for help, they would answer quickly. And she does get answers from Whitmore, but it takes a bit longer. So, it delays her doing her work. But it’s a lot harder. She said handing an assignment, there’s a lot of writing. Not as much as the hands-on with the teachers as it was with the other school. She wishes that the teachers would be a little more involved.

My child is thriving at Whitmore. It's been a great opportunity for him to graduate early, which is why we switched over from our public school, and he's doing really well. He wanted some honors classes, which were offered there, and the work-at-your-own-pace approach is really helpful for him. He's a competitive dancer, so he spends 25 to 30 hours a week at the dance studio and it helps that he can do it when it works for him. He doesn't have to be up at 7:00 am for school and he can sleep a little bit later on the days that he needs to and work on the weekend. It's an affordable option and we are getting a good value for the price and the course offerings.

Homeschooling was not in our options until the pandemic begun. Whitmore provided us an easy enrollment as we lived here Middle East (Qatar), as it was a last-minute decision. The transition from traditional school to homeschooling was not difficult as expected, since my son Lee has interaction with his subject teachers guiding him through the courses. The flexibility that Whitmore offers suits our geographical location despite the time difference.

The pandemic started, and everyone was on lockdown and doing virtually. We were not happy with the education. Our eyes were opened to what was going on in the school. I tried to speak to our local school about it and was completely lambasted. So, we put our house for sale and moved. I just happened to be watching a YouTube channel of a family that traveled the country and they had their kids in this school so I looked into it and it fit what I was looking for. My son is actually thriving in Whitmore School. He's graduating a year early, and I've never been happier. It was the best money I've ever spent.

Most of my child's teachers have been great and everybody has been responsive. He likes all of his teachers right now and he's enjoying it. There was just one that was kind of a difficult class for him, which was algebra, and my only suggestion is there could be more videos and things like that for the class. It kind of requires a little more assistance. Also, it would be nice if I could send a message to a teacher. I know I have to send it through the guidance counselor and then maybe they can relay it on. But if it's something that's kind of private that I would rather my son not see, it would be nice for me to be able to send a little quick note to a teacher. I can't do that but I get it. Overall, it's been a really good experience.

Whitmore School has worked out for us so far. My son could work at his own pace with them. So, he would have to have some motivation to do the work every day, which he has been able to do, where the other one we had, they had to be online at certain times to do the work. So, if your child can work at their own pace without having to be scheduled, it works out fine. Also, my son likes the courses.

My child signed up for seven classes and he is almost all done. He just got to finish up the English class, which would have been a struggle in normal high school. What he really like is that he was essentially done with school in three hours every day, instead of being there for eight or nine hours. He could finish the schoolwork and he's been very happy with the coursework and the interaction with the teachers. I wish we had done it sooner during COVID. This would have been much more productive than the public school's online version. I felt like he missed a year of high school.

My child had been in a Montessori school environment from pre-K through 11th grade and she couldn't finish her senior year there. We were looking for somewhere else for her to go, but not a traditional public school-type environment. We had found Whitmore online and did a bunch of research about it. It looked perfect for her because she's very much self-led and she doesn't need all that extra hand-holding. She can move at her own pace. Part of the draw for us was Whitmorehad been around for a long time. They had worked out all those initial kinks and they've got their processes flushed out. You don't really have to worry about that aspect. It also seems like their class formats are really easy to follow.

The enrollment process is quick and painless. I had one child attend the junior and senior year, and I have one who's now starting in her sophomore year on up. Every interaction I've had with the staff has been pleasant and helpful. I like the flexibility the Whitmore School offers the students and that they can move at their own rate, and that is proficiency-based. That's a big piece for some kids. I feel the girls have gotten a good education and have choices regarding what electives they can take. I would recommend it for those that are struggling in the public schools.

The two biggest things that we’re impressed with Whitmore are the class choices, and the communication between the student and the teacher and the counselor. The rep was able to communicate with her counselor easily about classes that she wanted, and questions. And the payment process was easy, and got a lot of information. If my daughter had a question to her teacher or counselor, she had a response usually within a day. I had to contact them once about how college advising works, and they got right back to me. She has kept busy through the learning process. A lot of essays and reading. She went to a brick and mortar high school for two years, and she started on this. I said, “Are you actually learning? And tell me the truth.” She said, “Oh, yeah.” She’s learning a lot through it.

Enrolling at Whitmore School was very simple. You sign up online and they have the online presentation for parents as well as for children. Then you give your information and pay. We enrolled my daughter in the 9th grade high school and she took English, Language, Arts, History, and Science. She also did digital photography, Spanish, and Math.

I have two children at Whitmore who are both neurodiverse and students in advanced classes. Public schools and in-person schools are often not equipped to handle children who are both academically gifted and neurodiverse. So, Whitmore provided them an option to be able to thrive as a whole student. I'm a college professor and my husband has a degree in K through 12 education. As parents and as educators with a lot of understanding of education, we did a lot of research before choosing Whitmore and once we made a decision, the enrollment process was very quick and easy.

We had lots of great communication back from Whitmore School. Quick responses. My daughter has signed up for a second year with them. And it has gone well. She really liked it. The teachers give good feedback, and helped her with any questions. Casey, the counselor, has always been super friendly and helpful. It has been a great way to do homeschool, and still have a set program. And with it being accredited, it's easy to transfer credits back to a public school if they ever wanted to go back to public school. The cost is high for us, but I know it's a lot cheaper than a lot of other programs. It's fairly priced. I've recommended Whitmore to a 10 people.

I needed a learning pace that was as you go because things happen. My son plans on going into the military and I was looking for a program that wouldn't fill him with trigonometry and all that stuff that we'd have to pass in order to graduate. I needed him to have more realistic courses for what he is going to do without the credits that he doesn't need.

My grandson wanted to try doing the homeschool, so we enrolled him at Whitmore and it's worked out pretty well. It's not like you do a lesson and it's one and done. You get a chance to go back and review if you miss something. That way, you make sure you get the right answers. So, he likes it from that perspective. His teachers are always pretty responsive. I know they have a lot going on, but they usually get his stuff graded and get it back to him pretty quickly. Obviously, some are quicker than the others, but for the most part, they exceed the 48-hour response time.

Whitmore School sounded like it would be a good fit for us. The flexibility was important because my son can do school from anywhere. And with all the pandemic stuff, we didn't have to worry about any interruptions in school. We had communication and we still do all the time from his guidance counselor and from the teachers back and forth with assignments. We're happy with the experience.

It's been a great decision going with Whitmore. My son really likes that he can study at his own pace, yet he is still learning more than he did doing it the other way. He got good feedback from one of his teachers that the counselor called on.

Whitmore is not pace-based and enrollment was great. But, we didn't have enough support in the way of teachers to help. They need to start doing online classes, like visual. Visual helps versus just text messaging and there's no audio. Other than that, it works for a lot of people or are not tied to education.

Whitmore seemed to have everything I was looking for. They have good courses, and they seem to be highly recognized by colleges. You can advance at your own pace and the teachers are accessible. You can use as much or as little help from them as you want. The enrolment was straightforward. I had to provide them some transcripts from my son's previous school but other than that, it was fast and very painless.

Whitmore worked out really well for our family. We went with them by looking at the website, how it's built, the ease of going from one tab to the next, looking at the program, and what they have to offer. I like the fact that when my daughter turns in an assignment, if her assumption’s incorrect, they give it back and let her try to figure out what she did wrong. The turnaround from the time that she turns in till they grade it is pretty short, which is good. She's done one math class so far. It's just that she needs a little bit more examples of the problem, so she should have like a math book. Everything else is on point. She loves Whitmore much more than our local public school. I'm pleased.

I happened to read that Whitmore School was the first online school and that it was one of the best online schools. Enrolling was very easy to do. I just sent over transcripts. My son Rex has been there for a year and a half. He has taken all the core classes for junior and senior year. So, English and all the history classes. They have the once you master the course, then you go on to the next one. It has been beneficial to Rex’s learning. It has been better than expected for him. He loves it. It has been terrific.

My daughter is doing a good job at Whitmore. I'd recommend it if someone is looking for a homeschooling experience that's online.

Enrolling with Whitmore was smooth and easy. So far, my experience is fine. I'm getting enough feedback and I like that I can redo my assignments and correct my mistakes. The fact that you get enough help from your teachers and you can interact is helpful.

My son has been in the self-directed program for under two years now and I like it because it puts a little more responsibility on him. He's graded on every single assignment, which is a contrast from traditional school. The teacher will give him feedback. If he gets too many wrongs, it gets kicked back, and then he'll have to explain how he got those answers. If he doesn't understand something, the teachers are helpful. The material is a little more challenging for him, which is good 'cause it forces him to do research and do his best. But I'm very pleased with the material and the quality of work that he's given his assignments. I'm happy and very satisfied with Whitmore. I've loved it for my son. Every time I have a question or any issue as far as selecting his class, they're always very responsive. I highly recommend it.

This is my daughter's second year, so we just rolled over into the new year. She has taken regular general education courses. It seems good so far.

The enrollment was just one day, a couple of minutes. It was simple. Whitmore School called me to give us the welcome and they have recognized my daughter for her great job. It has been good.

Whitmore has worked out really, really well for my older daughter because it is self-paced. I love the teacher interaction. It's mastery-based. So the things that my daughter is doing are focused and for the point of making sure that she understands the context in the assignment. When COVID hit, my other daughter was in public school and she was going to be starting her freshman year, and she has dyslexia and ADHD. When the public school said they were going to move to virtual classrooms and have live teachers through the TV, I knew that that was not going to work for her at all. So we decided to try Whitmore for her, and it also works great for her. She wanted to continue for another year, so she's now doing her 10th grade year and my older daughter is doing her senior year.

With my son's high school's shutdown during COVID, I felt it didn't have a good online program for him. He was not motivated. He wasn't doing much. It just came to me that he may not be learning much. So I started googling and researching online options and I saw that Whitmore among others had already been doing this. I did a lot of research and went with them. Also, they do some sort of a graduation. So it was sort of a hybrid for me. And so far, so good.

My daughter is gonna half six and a half classes this year - math, science, history, English and health. SHe's also in photography and the classes are going great. We have really enjoyed Whitmore. The teachers are very responsive, helpful and they have a much better attitude than any teacher she's ever had in a classroom setting.

My daughter is taking all of the common core classes at Whitmore, so she's taking English, Science, Math, and some electives. She also took art class and she’s taking digital photography. She started out in the 10th grade and she’s in 11th now. Whitmore made the enrollment process really simple and easy. It was in the middle of the pandemic and we had a few Zoom calls to get on where they answered different questions for incoming students and parents. They have a user-friendly website and system set up. We also get feedback from her teachers and we get the email daily whenever she submits assignments. Being able to log in as a parent to see the teacher’s feedback has been exceptional with her, so I love it. She had the option to go back to regular school this year, but she chose Whitmore again.

We chose Whitmore because of the accreditation as well as the option to have Math support. The only concern that I had initially was at the time of enrollment, would there be available slots available for students incoming. It was kind of enroll now to reserve your spot. Other than that, there were no issues. The platforms used are easy to navigate for my child. The guidance counselor has been great.

We've been very pleased with Whitmore. Enrollment was a seamless process. My son who is a senior is taking his two English classes and a physics class. The attention and feedback that he gets from the teachers is very detailed. They reply back and respond to almost every question he turns in for his English class. Students can go back and bring their grade up if they missed something. So, it encourages students to learn whatever they didn't get the first time. I like that.

The enrolment process was fine. My daughter ended up taking a lot of courses - English, history and a bunch of basics. She was happy with the feedback and it didn't take long to get her lessons graded back. Everyone there was really nice. Overall, we've been pleased with Whitmore. They've been helpful and responsive. My daughter was able to get her courses done for less money overall.

My daughter, Caroline, is in 10th grade with Whitmore now. She's taking Honors Algebra 2 and English 10. We closed out Geometry last night, and she is taking Biology right now. She's an athlete. So, we like the flexibility. It has been a perfect fit for us. We like it and I've been referring. I'm a coach and I've had one child enrolled through Whitmore since we have been doing it. I have three other ones looking at it for high school next year.

We heard about Whitmore when my son was in seventh grade. A friend of ours was using it and she was a student that had done well in public school, middle school. She learns very similarly to how my son is. They like to read and to write a lot of things, but have a lot of hard times putting it down on paper. So, I thought that if she was doing really well in Whitmore, maybe my son Joel would do well in it. We started looking into it more intensely when he got into mid eighth grade. We homeschooled forever, but he was going to go to public school in ninth grade. Then he said he really didn't want to and wanted to stay home. I told him that if he wanted to change his mind in the middle of high school, he was going to need to have an accredited program. It was going to be so much easier if we could transfer credits, and then he could change his mind. And he ended up signing up in the beginning of ninth grade with Whitmore.

Enrolling with Whitmore worked out because of the pandemic. My daughter was in the 10th grade classroom, and she enjoyed her experience. Josh was her counselor and I also spoke with Kathleen. They were excellent. The program is very affordable. The only issue was paying for the math. That didn't work out at all. It wasn't the support that was expected. We didn’t get an in-person support. Right now, my daughter's taking a break but I'm hoping that she would resume soon. I'm paying for the tuition fee and I'll continue to pay, but maybe they could extend her date of finishing if possible. I started paying for this school year, but she hasn’t even begun.

I like the mastery-based learning style that Whitmore uses. Also, the cost is reasonable. Enrolling was very easy and the personnel have been great to work with. My child has taken several courses and it's helping him. He was already doing virtual school with his public school because of COVID and they weren't really doing or learning much. He's definitely back on track and actually making progress. Whitmore is great to work with.

The enrollment was very simple and on the rare occasion I made a phone call, they were very attentive and helpful. The cost was very reasonable and everything went smooth with Whitmore.

My granddaughter was short of senior status so she had several different English courses that she had to take. She took a full year's worth of courses - a stress management course and a PE course. The enrolment process was painless. The staff was responsive through emails and when my granddaughter submitted her work, the turnaround time was good.

I was looking for something else for my daughter because she had a lot of health problems her junior year and was missing a lot of school. And it sounded like Whitmore School would be good for her because it's a work at your own pace kind of thing and you can do your class stuff anytime during the day. So, she didn't feel good. She could just do it whenever. Everything went smoothly. We were happy with it. She enjoyed her classes. It was a lot easier for her, not having to be committed to a strict schedule. Her grades went way up. She did much better than when she was in an actual school class, because there's a lot of distractions. She complained a lot about people not being quiet and getting out of their seats, and she doesn't do well with distractions.

My daughter did great at Whitmore and she liked it. We like the teachers and I like that it's like homeschool.

Whitmore School is a little bit better than public school. It was good the first time. But later, it became boring. My kids are losing interest if I keep pushing them. I like that if they don't do things correctly, the school sends them back. When my youngest daughter was studying, she couldn’t figure out things. She sent in the homework and the school sent it back. I pointed her books and told her to figure it out. There’s a way she could do that. I have a kid coming next year in high school and I’m putting my kid there.

My daughter did one semester at Whitmore. She was a senior and everything was positive on our end. I don't think that it was challenging for her.

Whitmore School looks a lot more competent than other online schools. The way they were approaching learning seemed like it relied on a lot more trust with the students rather than babying high schoolers their way through high school. Everything about my experience with Whitmore was amazing. The enrollment process, the actual school, and everything about their graduation were really easy. It was very nice. I also loved the classes I took because they definitely forced me to learn all of the materials there. But it wasn't draining to learn like in-person classes. I definitely know a lot of people who learn a lot better with some videos but that's not me. I never complained, but I feel like I learned a lot better with some videos. However, there weren't a lot of options for that.

Whitmore School has minimal appeal. For those actually seeking a positive and productive education it should not be your first option. It is essentially an old archaic style of school using modern technology. It runs on emails where teachers provide minimal feedback as well as fail to elaborate. The success of one's self is entirely on them. The "teachers" are quite literally there to provide a grade. Not only that but if you do not follow the lesson to exactly how they want, you will not receive credit.

We really enjoyed Whitmore. Our son used it last year when our local high school went virtual. He communicated with his counselor and teachers quite often, and he had no complaints with that at all. The classes were a lot more than what he could get through his public school. We liked the program that they offered and the classes that he could get there. Math is really hard to take online and they offered availability for math tutors. It was more challenging for him than regular school because the courses were a little more advanced. He took several honors classes and a college prep class. But overall, he was very pleased with the curriculum.

We wanted a school that was already online and everything was excellent at Whitmore. They were very helpful and easy to work with. My children enjoyed learning online. If my son had been struggling in math, it would have been a little bit hard to do online but because of the tutoring, that helped a little bit. We didn't quite pace ourselves well so we were scrambling at the end to finish up but other than that, it went well.

We enjoyed Whitmore School very much. They were flexible and did everything we needed them to do for Sully, our son. We didn't need a lot of counseling so much but the communication was very good. The teachers were reaching out to us more than the other way around. For an online experience, it was pretty personal. It was hardly a sterile environment. We started with another online school that was not accredited and they would just give the classes and you just go at it at your own pace. At Whitmore, you have a teacher that tells you to take a closer look and ask questions. You had to master the course material before you were allowed to go on. It felt like a real school.

We decided to go with a school that had a dedicated online curriculum. My son already had a friend that had been attending Whitmore for at least a year so we had some inside information and it seemed like they were enjoying it. We liked what classes were offered and the ease of my son being able to kind of pace himself. I do stay in contact with his counselor so if I have a question, I can always post it to him and he can help me facilitate that.

Whitmore is accredited and the courses interested my daughter. Also, the price was reasonable compared to other places. We tried Whitmore and we're happy with it. My daughter is independent but there are some instances when she doesn’t get something so when she needs something, she’ll tell me. So, I’ll help her out with that or I tell her to email her teacher. So, it seems she doesn't have any issues with Whitmore and she’s doing well. It seems to be self-explanatory.

I've tried a lot of schools for my son and Whitmore is good. I liked them and would recommend them. They have good classes. The only thing is they leave no deadline for submitting the work. My son had to submit his requirements and I don't know if I blame the school but my son got behind a little bit at the end. Maybe all schools should put a time restraint on when to submit the work instead of leaving it open.

Whenever I called Whitmore, I always spoke to somebody immediately and I felt like they really knew everything that was going on. It seemed like some of my child's teachers didn't live in this country or there were time zone differences. So, faster feedback would have been helpful to her but that's the only thing I felt like she complained about.

The enrollment process could be improved because you don't talk with just one person. First, you do a chat with this person, then the phone with this person and then another person. But once you get through it, it's pretty good. We've got a couple of teachers who wait a little too long to reply when students do homework so that can be frustrating because as a parent, I can't contact them directly. I have to go through a whole series of people with an email. But overall, it's been a good education. It's worked really well for our family.

I like the way the school interacts with my daughter, rather than just she does an assignment, they grade it like a normal traditional school. The guidance counselor has reached out to us a couple times to say like, “She's not quite on track,” or, “She's doing great,” or just giving us some tips ahead of time rather than there being a problem, and then calling us. They’ve been proactive on that part.

Whitmore's curriculum was really excellent. I also loved their Social Studies curriculum. It was thought-provoking and up-to-date. We have been very happy with Whitmore and their curriculum. I have suggested it to other parents and families. My girls are accelerated learners, so Whitmore was excellent for them because they didn't have to wait for a video to be done before. They could also submit two assignments if they wanted to. Everything was negotiable, which was great. They could work at their own pace. Whitmore provides great feedback and great interaction with the teachers. So it's all good. Also, they have reasonable price for what they offered, which was excellent.

The advisor was extremely helpful. She takes her time. She's very knowledgeable. She's patient and flexible. She tried to make arrangements with our daughter to help her with either scheduling or incentives, even giving us ideas about incentives at home to get the work done. The teacher was very positive. She was very nice and encouraging. She was even personable, and she tried to introduce some of the issues with her own life and where she came from and her dogs. So it's been very positive. They are pretty timely with getting on top of things. But my daughter feels very, very isolated. So having interaction with other students would have made her feel more like she's part of a movement instead of isolated.

Whitmore has been such a blessing to our family. My son was entering his senior year of high school when Covid emerged and public schools transitioned to home school. This did not go as planned as our local public schools thought it would. It honestly was a complete failure. My son and I were frustrated, confused, and overwhelmed. I struggled as a mom, because as a parent I wanted to see him thrive and succeed but it was totally opposite. I researched tons of online schools and finally found Whitmore.

There were some teachers at Whitmore School who were slow at grading, but for the most part, my daughter seemed to enjoy learning there. It's a different concept than what we were used to. She was doing three classes at a time and when she was finished with those, she got her other three classes added. She does a lot of it on her own since she's 16, but the lessons took her a while to do, so it's not like she whipped through them quickly.

The enrollment went very, very smooth, and very efficient. Everything has been a great experience. They were quick to respond. Our son has learning challenges and that is why we went with a self-paced program. We paid for an additional fee so we can have access to a tutor 24/7 for any subjects that he would be challenged with. We utilized that and it has been a fabulous experience for us. We have been very pleased.

When I first read about the enrollment process, it seemed a little confusing because I was out of the loop. But when I called Whitmore, they were the most helpful. They were wonderful and they got it done. It was done so quick and easy. I was talking to a real person who sounded like they had nothing else to do but answer all my questions. There was no background noise. It was wonderful. They made me feel like I was not a bother.

I'm very happy with Whitmore. My son is learning a lot and he is enjoying the homeschooling experience a lot. All the teachers are really professional and the syllabus is great. I strongly recommend Whitmore.

We have been pleased with our first year with Whitmore. We enjoy the flexibility, the simple interface and the speedy responses from support/guidance. His teachers are enthusiastic, encouraging, and very kind. My only critique would be our experience with the algebra teacher my son had. Very slow to respond which slowed his pace of progress, very unhelpful with problems he got wrong, and overall not a great experience with that particular teacher. We ended up hiring a tutor and getting through it.

We needed something with flexibility since my son's looking to become a professional athlete and this was an excellent program for him because he could do the work at his own pace and at his own time. He does so many different things during the day, it's much easier than doing a Zoom-type setup. Since it's an accredited school, I found it to be reasonable.

My daughter is on a college prep curriculum with Whitmore School and she has been enjoying it. The curriculum is similar to the school she was going to, which was a public high school. Whitmore has been great so far.

The whole family was unhappy with the elitist school he had been attending. The pandemic came and it became clear a move to an experienced on-line school would be a good idea. Whitmore is excellent. Students are expected to master material and not for an arbitrary date at the time of a test. He enjoys the freedom to organize himself within expectations of getting the appropriate amount of work done. Our boy is already highly socially adept and emotionally intelligent so the lack there of at Whitmore has not been detrimental.

Whitmore had been doing it for a lot longer period of time. I liked their mastery program, the way they have it set up where the student doesn't move on until they've attained a certain level. Then through perseverance, they can even get a better grade if they just keep doing the work and trying. There's a reward for the effort there. They can go back to some of the areas that they had difficulty with, redo those, and learn what they missed instead of just saying, “We've given you opportunity. Here’s the test, you take it. Oops, sorry, you didn't do good, but that's your grade.”

My son has never been happier in school. He is free to work at his own pace and at his own time. We are saving time each day on transportation back and forth to school and he is using the extra time to get ahead and graduate early.

Most of the enrollment with Whitmore was done by email and a few telephone calls, so it was very simple. My child likes being able to work at his own pace and then select which topics he wants to progress through first. The cost against the quality is very good, especially right now with traditional schools not knowing what they’re doing and being a little bit disorganized. The online schooling gives some structure. It has worked out well. The experience has all been very positive.

Whitmore answered all of my questions. Their program and user interface seemed really clear. It was very easy to understand what they did and that they were going to meet all of the requirements that we needed for my daughter, like accreditation and her graduating with a diploma so she could apply to college. I chose online schooling during the pandemic because my daughter did not want to sit in a virtual class all day. So we were looking for something that allowed her to work at her own pace. As soon as we enrolled with Whitmore and paid our tuition, we got assigned a guidance counselor and he started working with us. He walked us through the process. Our guidance counselor and teachers were really helpful with my daughter's transcripts because that was a bit confusing. But, they received her transcripts and told us what classes she would need to take. All of our experiences have been great.

Everything is going well with Whitmore School. We'll be finished with it within two months.

Whitmore School responded very quickly once I posted this review. The matter was resolved, and may have been due to a series of communications failures.

Whitmore School was cheaper among the other online schooling options. I enrolled my teenage daughter. She has pretty much just been on her own program. She has History left and she's still tracking her PE. Whitmore should let their students take more than three courses at a time, so they can do a different subject each day of the week.

My interactions were exceptionally good. They were straightforward. It's talking to a human being that understands English sentences and speaks English sentences back, polite and professional, and got from point A to point B. That's why we've stuck with Whitmore. It's extremely high quality for how much it costs, and that's ultimately it comes down to. Also, it's extremely flexible to what we need. I can hands-off and they run the thing, even though it's a homeschool, or I can get involved and make sure my son expands on the lessons if we need to.

The enrollment process was pretty good. The rep was really wonderful to talk to and she answered all my questions. Once we got going, the orientation was easy to follow. It was pretty clear. I like that it's one user account for both me and my son. So we both see the same thing. All interactions we have with the administrators, guidance counselor, and technical support at Whitmore are online. We have our desktop and there are links for me to talk to anybody I want to. When we first enrolled, we went over what his requirements are and what I wanted to enroll him in, and we talked about it. Anytime I send a message, I get an answer within 24 hours. Even on the weekends, they're responsive.

I love Whitmore. It's great. My child did a full year there and now, she's gonna be done this month for two more weeks. I would recommend it. Depending on if the student's self-sufficient, then it works.

I was a little resistant for my son to go to online school. But then when the whole Coronavirus thing happened and after doing some research on finding Whitmore, I'm extremely surprised as to how good the school is, how much support he receives, how good he's doing. Because then he doesn't have to put up with the bullying or the nonsense that the other kids face. I've just had the best experience with them. They're constantly sending me reports about him. They're very supportive and really helpful. I'm really happy. I'm going to keep him there. He is doing really well.

I needed an accredited program and chose Whitmore. If my daughter goes back to a brick and mortar school here, the requirements are she has to go through an accredited homeschool program. The enrollment was fine and my daughter started in August. When she first started, she was having some major issues submitting some assignments on the computer class. I talked to a guidance counselor, who I don't like that well. I also had a little bit of interaction with the teacher and that was okay.

My daughter completed the program and she felt fine with whole experience. It was a little expensive. But I'm glad she has graduated, and it's done and over with.

We did a lot of research and Whitmore was A-plus in the Better Business Bureau. They were very well accredited. The references that they had sounded really good and I liked the way that they did things. I'm very connected with what they're doing and how the teachers are responding to them. I've been very pleased with what I see.

Whitmore was nationally accredited and it was a school that my son in Connecticut could actually go to. Enrollment was fairly simple and pretty easy. I spoke to guidance counselor, admissions counselor, and several of the teachers. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Every question we had, they were able to answer and get us through the processes as we went through it. So far, I've been very pleased. Rates are pretty much in-line with other schools that we looked at. My son is excelling really well, and he's learning quite a bit. In this kind of environment that we're in right now where everyone's kind of remote learning, it’s a really good value.

Whitmore has a military discount and they had the courses my son needed. The pricing was good. We have spoken with a counselor a couple of times and she has been very helpful. She adjusted his curriculum a couple of times so he could get more what he wanted.

My daughter came across Whitmore. She had some medical issues that made her have to withdraw from the brick and mortar school she was going to. We asked around and somebody suggested Connections Academy and we couldn't get in because it was the middle of the quarter. So we did another online school, Indiana Career Academy, and she passed everything. But she got pretty far behind. But that was when her health was at her worst. Then, after a while, she got better and tried a brick and mortar school. She knew she didn't want to go back to the Indiana Career Academy. She was doing online research on her own for a long time. There was another one we almost signed up for but then she ended up finding another site that really gave it bad reviews. She saw really good reviews for Whitmore.

My daughter needed more flexibility with her schedule, which made me choose online schooling. Whitmore offered a diploma and honors classes, and they were rated as one of the top schools. After looking, some of the online schools only offer certificates of completion and I didn't want that. The enrollment process was very quick and easy. I had a couple of phone calls with the personnel and then a couple of emails with information. Then, they took care of everything. They contacted her public school to get her transcripts transferred and once it was transferred, they called me back and let me know what classes she needed for graduation. My daughter was doing an honors English class and an AP US Government. She took five classes last year and has one course left for graduation this senior year. Whitmore’s quality of education is very high and for the price, it’s good.

My daughter was having a difficult time with public schools in Kansas City. There were bully issues and focus issues so we decided to try a different route. My husband and I discussed it and kinda went through the internet. We wanted to make sure that it was accredited and that she would get an actual diploma and not have to go through a GED type program.

I researched online for different programs to enroll my daughter in and Whitmore School was one that stuck out to me as a good program. This is her second year in it and from what I have seen as well as my experience in talking to people on the phone, there's a night and day difference between them and another online program that we were in before that's called Penn Foster.

Whitmore is a wonderful school and we’re extremely happy with them. My daughter is a dancer training at a pre-professional program. She is on a full academic college preparatory course, science, English and social studies on the honors level. Whitmore has very high-quality teaching and excellent administration. We're very pleased with the education there and the support. The personnel are of the highest professional quality. Whitmore is a gem. They do a great job and they're very dedicated. Their teachers are super responsive. I was with other schools and this one is far ahead.

During the COVID-19 pandemic the institutions in my country gave zero cooperation regarding education. I had to find a good school and while in pursuit of an online school I found Whitmore School, so my parents and I decided to shift here and have loved every part of it since day one. The teachers, my Guidance Counselor and the courses are amazing. The curriculum is very specific but top-notch. There are no time bounds or anything that would stop you from getting your specified goal while at this amazing school. Honestly, I am really amazed to see such dedication and the cooperation that Whitmore School gives.

We were having some issues with the local public school so we started looking at homeschool options even though I didn't really think that that was gonna be a good option for us. I then started researching some of the online private schools and looked at a lot of the information and the reviews that Whitmore School had. I went to the website and thought they would probably be a good fit for my son. There were a lot of online reviews for the school and I liked that there is a mastery program where he would be made to continue to do it until he gets it. My son enrolled last October. We sent in his transcripts and after they reviewed him, we talked to somebody about which classes he should take.

My daughter had other commitments that made the traditional school schedule not feasible any longer. So, we needed an online option that could work around her other commitments: to still have the ability to have an excellent education but have the flexibility in terms of the timing, time of day, deadlines on assignments, and teachers who work with them around their schedule. With Whitmore School, I liked that with mastery-based learning, the students are responsible for learning how to master the content with the guidance of the teacher and are able to use the platform to succeed.

Our daughter, Sophie, is a dancer. She's in the pre-professional program in her school that she was in. Even though it had a dance program, it would not support her in leaving early to go to another studio. So, since she loves dancing so much, we took her out of school and we checked several online courses, and Whitmore seemed to be the best one for her. The enrollment process was easy. They have an excellent program and my daughter's getting a lot out of it. They also have a reasonable price for the whole year for the quality of education that my daughter's getting.

I chose Whitmore for my son's schooling. We spoke with their counselor and they helped walk us through the process of enrollment. The reps I've spoken to have always been pleasant and helpful. Currently, my son has been taking required Math, English, Science, Labs, Electives, and writing courses. The quality of education has been better than what I expected and he is really thriving with his work. He loves it as it's flexible to fit his hours and he can go at his own pace.

We did online schooling because my son wasn't interested in the program that he was in regular school. He was struggling with engaging and stuff. Also, we knew he wasn't going to college, so he didn't need all the college requirements that the state wanted him to have. We just wanted him to get a GED. Whitmore was the best option. I read a lot of reviews that said that they were a good option. Everything about them is really easy and great to work with. They're great in communicating and explaining things.

We are enjoying the program from Whitmore School. My son is taking Algebra, U.S. history, and Spanish. He’s gotten used to the pattern and interacting with the teachers, especially this year. There has been a great improvement. The teachers and the counselor are very responsive. The enrollment process was very clear and simple. The quality is very good for the cost, especially in comparison to some of the other programs that we've seen and used. We like the mastery format as well.

At that time when I was looking for a school, I wanted something that had some teachers attached to the school, so someone that we could talk to, versus just something online. Enrolling with Whitmore was mostly online, sign up your kid and pay. And if you have any questions, you could give them a call. My daughter currently just does Math with them because she did Math last year, and she finished up her Math program. Right now, she's preparing to take her GED. She's almost gonna graduate. Her experience with the online instruction and teachers could have been a bit more help, but it was fine.

Whitmore School is excellent and we like it so far. We wanted to try online school and it was really easy to enroll with them. My daughter did it herself. Everything seems to be fine with her and she's happy.

My kids have been home for six months and they gain very good experience doing online learning. I decided to enroll in online schooling. My older daughter, Crystal, has been practicing advanced learning for a long time. She can skip some grades and also get good education, that's why I chose Whitmore. My daughter is not 14 yet and I needed to contact the Enrollment Director and provided her school records. Then, Crystal had to email her to show her communication skills. They approved her enrollment and we registered to the Diploma PLUS Program, which means my daughter has more support from her counselor.

My son is an introvert and he was having some difficulty with a traditional public school, just with bullying and nonsense. It took me a while to decide to go to online school. I was concerned about the social aspect of it. But I knew that no amount of me leaving him in public school would make him social. It was just probably gonna get worse so we decided to go ahead and try the online. I did a lot of research and I saw everything seemed pretty good about Whitmore. So, I thought we would try it and I am so happy we did.

When I signed up, it was super easy. Everything went smooth. It was a good experience. We had to switch a teacher. But other than that, the teachers were pretty good. They were very interactive with the students as far as communication goes. Assignments were pretty good too. We were pretty pleased with the cost, especially for my daughter coming from a private school going to Whitmore. But they should have better or more communication between the counselor and student.

Whitmore School was very highly ranked online. I weighted my decision on curriculum, ranking and cost. I also looked at schools the graduates have been accepted to. The enrollment process was very easy and simple. I just filled out forms online and provided documents. Everything is mostly handled through the website. But every time I've spoken to their personnel, they've been very accommodating and nice and helpful. The curriculum was very good and challenging for my daughter. It's a self-paced program and there are no deadlines and in some ways, it can be good for certain people. But it just was not a good fit for my daughter. Having some scheduling could be good for her. It's just not for everybody.

We enrolled my daughter online because she was not behaving in public school. We needed to kinda take her out of that environment and give her a better chance of focusing on school instead of focusing on all the exterior stuff. We went with Whitmore School based on the research we did. They have the highest reviews. That was the number one recommended online and the price was right, and it seemed like it was the best one for her. The enrollment process was super easy. It took a few minutes and it was done.

Whitmore was recommended by a friend who's daughter is attending school there. I did some research online and found that they had some really great reviews. I couldn't find anything negative about them. So, we pray it's good. Enrolling was relatively easy. They provided me with a list of things they needed from my son's current high school and we were able to get his schedule finalized. The whole thing took about a week.

Enrolling was pretty simple and straightforward. I like the website. It was simple. They always get back to me really quickly, like the next day. They're really nice. They seem like they really want the kids to do well. My son has straight As and I like that they let him work at his own pace. He's able to make correction on things so I feel like he's actually learning. It's a good education and the cost is appropriate.

My son wanted to do online schooling. Whitmore's program seemed to be the one that he gravitated to most with the way that the subjects were taught and the mastery aspect of it. It seemed to be more suited to him and his learning style. They worked with me to figure out a monthly payment plan, which was really wonderful since I'm a single mom. Their staff were always so helpful and got back to us right away. If my son had a question, he would type it in and get a response very quickly. According to the reviews of other schools that we compared it to when we were looking for the school, seems like other online schools are not as proactive and on top of things. There were a lot of complaints with other schools in most areas, like slow response time and not being very helpful for individual students.

We got the tutor option with Whitmore and the enrollment process was fairly straightforward and simple to navigate. The program was flexible and mostly pretty solid. But my daughter can't move forward within the course until each lesson is approved for whatever expectation the teacher is looking for. One of her classes held her up quite a bit. She couldn't get past that one lesson that she kept having to do it again and again and again. When all of the lessons through most of the courses end up with effectively 100%, by statistical speaking, even if we burn that one lesson so that she can move on, she'd still end up with an A. So it cost her more than it was worth because it ate up a lot of unnecessary time. My daughter was confused on that one and she didn't know what was needed to be able to move forward. She just kept getting it back and saying, “You need to do it again.”

I sent my daughter to my country in Indonesia. She can follow the online schools the government has but the time is different. So, that means she has to wake up the right time to study because of the 24-hour time difference. I talked to one lady who has a daughter that also goes to online school. I told her my trouble with the government online school and she gave me the online price for Whitmore School and I thought that it might be better.

I primarily chose Whitmore School for the flexibility of when we could start and how we could work the program. Aside from their model for pricing versus buying different courses, I like the way they approached online schooling with you buy for a year. I also I liked the way that they evaluated other GPAs. Enrolling was super easy, very smooth, and quick. They’re very attentive. I was able to talk to a lot of different people and have my questions answered before I made the decision.

The reviews about Whitmore School really stood out for me and their enrollment process was easy. We just had to submit the paper that we had from the school and that was all for the current grade that my daughter was going. My interactions with them all went smoothly. My daughter is more independent in her studies with Whitmore School and she’s doing better than in a regular school.

We were looking for a new opportunity for my daughter's school. It’s a bit of a challenge getting her up and moving in the morning. With some research online, we came across Whitmore and we thought this would be the way to go. She’s done really well with Whitmore School. I like the communication from the counselor once a week and the communication monthly from the counselor with the real updated report. She can have constant contact with her teachers, pretty rapid response, and they actually are learning. Being able to do the revisions on work assignments means that she’s actually learning and not just moving on without learning the core details.

My son had been going to a private school for years. The cost of private school for high school here jumps about $10,000 a year on top of what we were already paying, plus my daughter is in college and so the cost for private high school was not feasible at that point. The public schools here were not even an option. They were beyond bad. So our options were online school or homeschooling of some other fashion.

My daughter is sick and can’t attend school. With Whitmore, it’s three days and she likes that. Enrollment was very easy and cost is reasonable. My daughter finished Whitmore. Their personnel were all very attentive, and they would answer back quickly. She took pre-Calculus, English, Performing Arts, Chemistry and History. The only thing we didn’t like was the program itself in Math wasn’t very explanatory. We had to get tutors. All the Calculus related subjects are not okay. They don’t explain them well for the sit-in that I’ve had from that.

My daughter didn’t wanna go to public school. When I researched schooling options online, Whitmore got very good rating, and it was affordable. The enrollment process was fine. Because my daughter hadn’t met the age yet, she was asked to submit an essay, which she did. Then the dean contacted me after she did that, and then she told me about the program and explained different stuff to me. I chose one and then I paid the tuition, and she was able to start the next day.

My eldest son prefers to do school online. He’s more of an introvert and did not want the traditional high school experience. Whitmore was suggested to us by the guidance counselor at the institution that he attended before we withdrew. All the communications are through their website. If you need to talk to someone, there are ways to contact people and have an interaction that way. Almost everything is done via email. It is a fairly comprehensive program. It stands up against a rigorous curriculum that he had when he was attending a more traditional school.

Whitmore was discovered by my wife and I through research on-line for an accredited high school for our son, Daniel. He had transitioned from going to a private Catholic School atmosphere to a public-school setting for his Junior year. The whole situation did not agree with him and he was experiencing many obstacles. When we contacted Whitmore, we immediately were put at ease. The administration was extremely helpful in the registration process. Within a few days of making contact, Daniel was taking the full allowable class load and thoroughly enjoying it.

My daughter had dropped out of public high school and needed to finish her education. I looked at different options and online schooling with Whitmore seemed like the best option for her. I sent an email then they called me and we talked about it. Then everything was done online. The school personnel have always been very supportive. The quality is pretty good. They don’t let her get away with good enough. They make her do the assignments until she gets them right, like revise, redo, until they’re correct. Whitmore has been very good with me for flexibility because my daughter didn’t finish in the time that we originally intended for her to finish her schooling. They worked with me on extensions. She stopped for a while and she was able to start back with just a phone call and starting right where she left off with no loss of credit or anything.

My daughter went to her private school through 8th grade, and then we decided to do the online schooling for 9th through 12th. I wanted to have more time to do other things. And some things that you do every day count as class work. That’s more experiential learning opposed to just in a classroom learning, so that’s a lot better. There were a lot of schools to choose from and it was really overwhelming. But Whitmore School was affordable and they had really good reviews. My daughter loves it. She’s old enough to pretty much be independent and do a lot of the school work, so there’s not a lot of parent involvement much. So, unless there are questions or anything like that, I can reach out to the counselor. Otherwise, you get to go in, check the status and make sure they’re on track for the graduation at the end of the year. You have the whole 12 months to actually do a year’s worth of work, and she should be done in another month or so.

I dropped from high school to pursue my dancing career, and I'm glad I found this school that allowed me to complete high school and get a diploma. After I searched online for many schools, I'm so happy that I chose Whitmore School. The staff and the teachers are fantastic. I found each course challenging and interesting. I definitely recommend this online high school.

I have kids who have interests outside of school and who were bored in traditional school. They came to me. They campaigned to try an online school. They wrote an essay. For the proposal, they enumerated they wanted to do this. They're very independent-minded anyway, so I told them they could do online school, but I was not going to be the school police. If I ended having to be the school police, they're going back to regular school. “Don’t make me the school police. I’ll help you. But I’m not gonna be riding you every day.”
