I was able to begin the process of reducing the principle of my debt and get rid of all the interest, as well as reduce the number of months required for payoff!!! The representative patiently and efficiently answered all of my questions and walked me through the process in a few calls and emails. Thank you Jay!

National Debt Relief’s ratings made me decide to go with them. Overall, it’s been a positive experience all the way around. They turned around and bundled everything all together then broke it down into payments that I could afford over a period of time. I'm still working with them. My credit score has vastly gone up and creditors don't call me anymore, which is great. I’m in the process of looking at houses to buy one. If it wasn't for NDR, I’d still be renting.

I had an outstanding debt and I wanted to get that resolved without trying to file for bankruptcy. I signed up with NDR and their reps were nice people. Every time I talked to them, they seemed to completely understand and they would be helpful. When I'm having difficulty with the payment plan, I just call them up and it gets handled immediately. At the moment, I'm still working with them and they already withdraw the first payment. But I'm going to call them because I'm still having a hard time keeping up with the payment. I had a situation that came up that pretty much set me completely back. Other than that, they've been good overall.

I'm trying to work on my credit and I just felt with the process, National Debt Relief went through it very thoroughly, it made sense, and it was cost-effective for me. Everyone I talked to knew exactly what they were talking about. They were able to make changes as needed. The communication was the best thing. I was just made eligible for an external loan to finish the program in the next 90 days. I'm hopeful that it will allow my credit score to go up significantly. As this has been helpful, hopefully, by the end of this year, I will be able to say that I will try to purchase a home. Going through this process was helpful with that goal.

I was looking for a personal loan to help me pay off a lot of debt that I accumulated but at the time, they weren't being offered. Then, I was offered debt relief, which was what I did years ago with a company that was dissolved due to fraud or they got in trouble with the government. But I had a positive experience because I paid down my debt. So, I figured I might as well do that instead of accumulating more debt. NDR explained their program to me and they pretty much were the same as the other company that I was with previously. They broke it down to me and when they signed me up, I started saving. The program was simple and it took care of itself when I started making my payments every month. Now, I'm already down two debts and I just have two more to go.

National Debt Relief has good customer service. The people were friendly and nice. But what I didn't get was some of the smaller debt were not taken care of before the larger ones. It was through the same company. It was two smaller ones that were just sitting there and I could have paid those. I wouldn't have been that late. I could have stayed in good standing with a couple of the small ones. I just went through with it because NDR had to take care of all of it. That part was a bit frustrating.

Another thing is, NDR should let people know what the fees are upfront. I’ve been looking at the breakdown and the fees and they are quite expensive. I would have not gone through with the program if I had known how much they were charging me. Financially, it has been a help. But I just wish I would have known what the fees were upfront because some of the fees were the balance of the debt. I could have just taken care of them myself and handled it in a different way.

Everything was a smooth process from coming from a different debt relief program. The guy that helped me transition to National Debt was John. He went step-by-step, process-by-process. Everything I had questions on, he answered it and it wasn't like I wouldn't be comfortable with not knowing. The monthly payment was affordable to settle my debts too. Every time they had a settlement, they notified me of accepting it. I only have two creditors left to have my settlement with. Other than that, everything else is done. My credit scores are going back up. I'm almost at 600 right now. When I first started with them, I was in the low 500.

He helped me so much. I've been with National Debt Relief for almost two years now and I do not regret my decision at all. Back then, I was paying close to 1,200 a month and I was sinking. NDR consolidated everything to where I'm paying 331 a month. I'm going to be paying that 331 longer than I'd like to, but because they were able to stretch it out over a length of time for smaller amounts, the burden was taken off my shoulders. So it's totally worth it.

But they got us a lower payment plan than we had and with their help, we're able to try to pay off our debt and from what they told us, we have another year and a half left before we pay everything up. Aside from that, we're now able to make payments to try to not be bankrupt, so that's great.

I called National Debt Relief and asked them some certain things. They told me things that I liked but I'm not happy with them because they weren't straight up with everything. I would never turn anybody else on to them. My credit was 820 across the board when I went in this program. I've asked questions before I got it, and a lot of things wasn't said. They told me certain things, and it was not the way they said it was. Customer service was fine, but the first person I talked to wasn’t honest. But anytime I call someone to ask for information, everybody else has been pretty good.

National Debt Relief told me that they don't take their money until all my debt is solved. If they took their money that way, at least I can be establishing credit. That's the only reason I got into the program. They didn't say after one settlement that they would take their money. Also, their fees are ridiculous. You can't get out of debt and they can't work on nothing because they’re taking so much in fees. They also never said anything to me about collections. When I pull it up on the computer, it says no alerts, and nobody's contacted me about one of my debts and now, it is in a collection. I'm very disappointed.

The enrollment process took a couple of times. It was a little bit lengthy, but it was easy. Everything seems to be going really good right now. We're getting some credit cards paid off. You should do it with NDR because they negotiate with the credit card companies. One of them was 4,000 and something dollars, and it was negotiated down to 1,000 and something. I gave National Debt Relief a call and tried it out. I called one of the other companies and it sounded more like a snake oil salesman to me than anything, so, I didn't give them much attention. But the operator I spoke with at National Debt Relief sounded knowledgeable and ready to help right off the bat. They went to work immediately and we've got all debt settled except for one. The time frame is not ironed out but that's going to depend on when the settlements fall. They gave me a generalized time of when we could expect it and we are about a year into it now. The customer service doesn’t call all the time unless it's absolutely needed. There have been times that I called and they were quick to pick up the torch and run with it to give me the answers that I needed or even with any help that I may need. From the customer standpoint, they've been spot-on and I have no complaints at all.

People should try to settle their debts without going through this because it is a massive blow to the credit score. But if there are no other options and you've got to get a mediator to help get these debts where they're manageable, then you've got to do something instead of letting it all snowball and cave in around you. There's nothing that I would change in my experience that led me to National Debt Relief. My wife and I worked at it and it compounded to where we weren't able to do anything with it. We were paying more than we could manage. I don't have any regrets with the process I took.

I was with another company and I wasn't happy with their service, so I started searching for another one. National Debt Relief came up and when I called and talked to them, I was so impressed by their customer service that I had to try this company. The rep was absolutely the best. In the past, when I was able to work, I gave superior excellence as far as customer service was concerned. The gentleman that helped me was another me. He did everything and anything possible to answer all my questions and make sure that I felt comfortable. In talking to him, I felt like I knew him for the longest time and he added a little bit of his own personal statement into our initial conversation, which helped make me feel more comfortable with him and that he cared.

With the exception of COVID going on, using NDR made me a lot more relaxed and I'm not as stressed out as I was. I am glad that I'm able to pay the debtors something at least. I’m about halfway through at this point. There are many times NDR should be getting more than what they're getting for the type of service and the confidence that they instill in you. They are doing, they have been doing and they're continuing to do everything that they said they were going to do in the beginning.

I lost my vision recently. When I started losing my sight, I called them to tell them that I'm going blind and asked how I was going to continue on. They said not to worry and that they’ve got me taken care of. They told me how bad they felt that I lost my vision and that they were going to do everything possible to take care of me in a different format than they would take care of a regular sighted person. They still do everything that they did as if I were sighted, except they call me. I've given them another number that they could send a text to if I had to call them back right away, if it was an emergency. But for the most part, they call and tell me what they need to do or what needs to be done, or give an update or suggestion. So I still feel very confident in their abilities. It is wonderful and I don't know many companies today that are willing to do that. I tell them every time that they have gone over above and beyond the call of duty.

I have four things for National Debt Relief to collect on and they've done two. The way I get it, if I owe eight grand on a credit card, NDR contacts the credit card company and asks if they are willing to settle for four. The credit card company says they are willing to settle for five. So, NDR says okay and sends me a thing asking if I am willing to pay the five. And I say yes or no. The only problem I've had is, on the last payment schedule, they told me that the creditor wanted $10 a month for eight months. I find that hard to believe. I said I would give them $80 and let's shorten it by eight months. It was odd and I said that I didn’t want to accept those terms. They said the creditor could back out. I said that the creditor would be absolutely stupid to back out. It was funny how they called me back five minutes later and said that the creditor agreed to take 20 bucks a month instead of 10 bucks.

NDR spreads it all out rather than stuff it together. They're collecting a fee every month and the company that does something for them collects a fee every month. So, I'm paying as much in fees as I am in paying off the debt. Other than that, I've been okay. I'm paying my bills off and in another year or two, hopefully, I'll say that everybody's done.

I had a big debt. It was 25 grand and that's a lot of money to me. I owned my business and in 2015, I was making money hand over fist. Everything was great and I put things on the card. I would just pay those. Then all of a sudden, a couple of years later, I was getting eaten up with interest and business had slowed way down, and I got myself in a hole. There is no debtors prison, so I could have said screw them all and ruin my credit completely. But I've ruined my credit by going through them anyways because it still shows as four credit things in default, even though I'm doing my best to pay them off. I'm a business owner so I applied with the SBA for a loan, hoping that I could pay a couple of those credit cards off with a high interest on them. The SBA turned me down because I have bad credit.

I have bad credit because I chose to pay off the four accounts. By being responsible and taking blame for what I've done, and that is build up a bunch of credit or have a bunch of credit that money is due, I'm being chastised because I'm being a good guy. It almost makes me feel like throwing all the bills in the trash and just let them send me bills and harass me on the phone. That was one thing that National Debt Relief did. I got phone calls and I gave the 800 number and told them to call NDR or I write on the credit card statement the address and tell them to send the bill there. But the bills and the phone calls have stopped so that's nice. In hindsight, if I had I to do it again, I would have just dealt with the credit card companies myself. But NDR has helped.

I was told that the program would take 34 months total. I'm about a year and a half into it. National Debt Relief is a good program and I have recommended it to people.

There seems to be a lot of scam sites, and then I saw that National Debt Relief was accredited. The accreditation was what sold me on it. I enrolled and it was simple and straightforward. They did a good job of explaining to me everything, including how the whole process would go. They consolidated everything into one easy payment, which simplified everything. I do mine biweekly, so it’s consolidated it down. I wasn't so worried about paying three different bills every month. Sometimes the communications were an issue, but I also understand that they are big and they deal with other people.

When I called National Debt Relief, I was at a point where I was crying on the phone with the woman I talked to. She was so kind, calm and caring. She understood where I was coming from and I got information from her. I talked to my husband and we decided to go with them. I've been very pleased with the communication overall. I sometimes wish that things could go a little bit faster because I want to get through the program a little bit quicker. It takes a while to get through and that was something that I was not ready for. I didn't expect that we would still be looking at being in the program for at least another year. We started in 2018 and I had kind of hoped that at this point in time we would be getting ready to graduate from the program.

Based on where we are, what we had to do and how much money we can put into it every month, we are doing what we can. When I call and have questions, they always answer and they do it very well. A lot of times though, I'll get calls from creditors and they're wanting information. They claim that they can't talk to National Debt Relief and they want us to settle with them.

The enrollment process with National Debt Relief was super informative and super helpful. So far, the program is really simple and it's working. They're settling a lot of my stuff for me. So, therefore, my credit rating is going up. They usually send me an email and tell me when they have been able to settle with whatever card. Then I either approve it or decline it. Their reps are super helpful. If I have questions, they respond quickly. If I need to send them any type of information, they confirm quickly that they've received it. Also, the information portal is super user-friendly, very simple, easy to navigate.

When I first called in to set up a payment plan, the rep just took into mind what my current bills already were, what I was being paid, and how the payment that they were taking out would affect me. He said that they were trying to help me get out of debt and they didn't want to help me dig further into debt. So he made the payment plan super reasonable and easy for me to afford.

National Debt Relief took a whole lot of stress off of me. I got into the situation because of COVID, losing my job, and going into a lower-paying job. So working with NDR is making my life easier and manageable. I don't have to worry about paying for these cards in a flat sum payment. I can make it to where it's automatically coming out of the money that I pay them every month. It's easy and I don't have to deal with creditors. It's fantastic.

I found National Debt Relief online and at the time, I lost my job, and I wasn't able to pay my bills. They were the most affordable for me to do, because they were going to charge me at the end of the contract. Once I started working, they were willing to work with me whereas others like Lexington Law, they are not. Lexington Law tries to repair your credit and tells you how to build that and spend your money, rather than taking the money, setting it aside for you, and then start paying and negotiating your bills. This is what National Debt Relief does and it's one of the better plans out there. Their customer service has always been excellent as well. Since it's COVID now, it’s a little long to answer the phone. Other than that, they’ve always been good about getting back to me and telling me when they’ve taken care of a debt. They still have two or three to negotiate with, but overall, it's been very good.

However, I've been in the program for probably a year and a half but I don't know how far I am out of debt. I don't know who reaches out and says, "Hey, they have this bill." Also, I feel like it isn't as fast, process-wise. The last two months have been kind of fast with a few credit cards being settled but there are a few other ones and I'm wondering why haven't they settled on a particular account yet. Sometimes, it's a little pricey if you can't do it but I feel like I don't have as much debt and I'm not as stressed. They reach out more than not. I hear from them more than anybody. They're patient too if you need something done and you can't do it at that point.

The first program I looked into said that they couldn’t work with people in Washington State. I have no idea why and they said the state couldn’t do that. Then, I found National Debt Relief and they said that they didn't know what the other company was talking about. They said they could work with me and that they would. And so far, they're doing an awesome job. The initial process was easy and the person was very competent and reassuring because I needed to be reassured. All the customer service reps I dealt with since then did a stellar performance, too. If I needed to get ahold of them, I'd give them a call and they'd answer. And when they saw a problem, they'd give me a call. They're great and they've taken so much weight off my shoulders.

If you want to sign up with them, make sure you have all your bills and that you know what you want, even though you can add later and it's really not that big of an issue because you can call them back. They would also work with you on the original adjustment of how much money is going to be taken out and it’s best if you just have all your payments together in the first place. When I first started doing it, I was having them take the payment out twice a month. Then, I changed it to where they'd only take it out in the beginning of the month and they'd take all of it. And that happened immediately with zero issues. So, they listen to you and they get things done. All in all, if you’re having issues, I would recommend this business up and down the block.

National Debt Relief advised me to miss payments in order to get on their program which I wasn't really comfortable doing. I never missed a payment until I was going with them. Also, every time I called in, I never got a straight answer. I had to ask for a supervisor several times because everybody told me a different answer. I don't like it when I get different answers when I'm dealing with my money or my credit. One rep would tell me one thing and then NDR would come back and correct themselves. I got upset with them and called them out on it.

Also, they would never let me talk to a negotiator. I always talk to a customer care specialist and half the time, they did not have an answer for me. I paid a lot of money to get ahead to pay some of the debt. NDR negotiated and set the account out for payments for a long period of time to pay the creditor. Then, they turned around and took a big chunk out of the account for their fee and drained all the money I have put in there to take care of the debt so that they could negotiate with another creditor. They said they had a right to take their fees. When they take their hefty fees first, then I have no more money to negotiate with. I wasn't happy about that.

It would be better if I could have had one representative that I worked with and who called me back instead of me talking to somebody different every single time. NDR transferred me to Liberty who then told me I had to talk to NDR. I called yesterday to talk to somebody and again, I got the wrong answers. NDR took care of everything and got me out of debt but I was concerned with the last two debts. I had a lawsuit and for the last one, they took it too lightly. My credit went down the tubes from doing their program.

Their program was terrible. There were a lot of shenanigans that I dealt with and now I'm dealing with my taxes and I don't understand what is going on. I got some money coming in so I ended up paying it all off and getting out of there and now those companies were saying that this was a tax write-off. It's not a tax write-off and I had to pay all the taxes on it. I'm not very happy at all.

I wish they would have given me all the little notions of what's really going to happen instead of not telling me the truth, and then all these things happening at the end, when I pay it off or if I try to pay it off early. There are all these things that I should have read in the contract. I thought that they're going to help me but they ended up trying to screw me.

I did my own negotiating with the companies. I called up the other companies and they said, "You can't do that.” I said, “How come I'm on the line with them right now? We're on three-way and I'm doing the same job as you're doing.” But they're charging me 40% on the money. That doesn't make sense. I would never recommend that to anybody. They also didn't tell me that if I don't pay for six months and then it screws my credit, and then it puts me in forbearance.

They have since pretty much been taking care of stuff that I wouldn't normally be able to do.

Out of a total of five accounts, I have two left. One just finished on the 12th. I have one more that they are working on and they are supposed to close out in July. There's one more that they haven't even gotten a settlement on yet because they won't talk to the creditor until I have 30 to 40%. That one is the largest account I have. In using National Debt Relief, I have less stress on me. There are fewer things I gotta really worry about. And for the most part, I've had the same payment plan the whole time. We have a massive amount of student loan debt and National Debt Relief was able to take on our private student loans. All of our credit card debt was paid off within six months and they've gotten some good offers for my set of student loans. But we weren't able to make one of the payments so, we lost the settlement. It has been nice that NDR is able to field everything and when we get letters, they take care of all of it. We have eight student loans with them and one has been paid off. Another one is close to being paid off. It’s not NDR’s fault. It’s just that it’s a large amount of money that they're trying to pay with a small amount of money and the student loan company wouldn’t do anything.

I tell a lot of people about NDR. We have a fairly unique situation because we have a house value worth of student loans. There’s only so much that we can do. But we weren’t gonna get out from underneath anything with doing it ourselves. They are very accommodating. Our payments are supposed to be $3,000 a month according to the program. We paid the first four months, which was why our credit cards got paid off so fast. But we haven’t been able to afford that kind of payment for a while and NDR has been good at adjusting the payment for us to fit what we can afford at that time.

My rep reviewed my spending and got my debt lower than what I was previously paying. I wasn't expecting to save as much money as I did. So, I was very, very, very pleased with that. National Debt Relief has been doing fantastic.

Initially, I was a little irritated because I thought that the pricing was a little high. Until I looked at my credit score, which went from 490 to 710. Now, I love National Debt Relief. It's improved my credit to the point where I was able to afford this new guitar that I'm playing right now. I'm about two and a half years in the program and I paid down about $7,000 of bad debt between collections and credit cards I no longer have. I'm down to about 1,400 in outstanding credit lines. The fact that I gave them less than the $1,000 they wanted makes me happy. I got very disciplined about my spending habits and the way I was paying bills. I pay them instead of waiting till the last minute. I would pay a little bit earlier, a little bit extra. It's not that hard to get on a website on Tuesday when it's due on Friday. When you owe 38 bucks and pay them 40, watch your scores jump.

We were looking to pay off everything that we owed because we had fallen very behind, which led us to seek out National Debt Relief. They speak with creditors and negotiate end balances for us to pay. Then, we pay NDR a monthly sum and they redistribute that to whoever they negotiated with. The reps have been very nice and since working with NDR, we're less stressed out than we were before. We're in the middle of the pandemic and I haven't worked since last March so in better circumstances, we probably would be in great shape. With all these going on, it feels just like it did before. But we're able to pay it for now and we're trying to do our best to do it.

NDR has been able to help us a lot as far as getting a lot of the creditors to work with us. We’ve only had one issue but they said that it’s normal with a company to strong-arm. Other than that, NDR has been fantastic. We’re happy and even with that situation, they told us not to worry about it. They were able to solve it within two weeks and gave us that peace of mind again. It has been a very good experience. I've had several friends who knew our situation and how everything went for us. They've asked me what we've been doing in order to get ourselves back on track and I've recommended NDR several times to people.

I'm very happy to be working with National Debt Relief. I'm a year into the debt consolidation program, which is at the beginning stages. I found the cost to be very reasonable because I could not keep a flow. I couldn't pay bills or do anything before because I could no longer work at the volume that I used to and they helped resolve that. The program made everything far more manageable. It certainly massively decreased how much I was putting out each month. I also had a few hiccups in employment post-COVID, and they were happy to work with me. They have made my life so much easier, taking a lot of stress off and I really enjoy every aspect of the customer service that I've engaged in. Everyone I've talked to is extremely friendly, polite, professional, and concise. Things are handled quickly. It meets and exceeds whatever expectations I had.

My son and his family were laid off from their job, and I began supporting two families. And my outgo was becoming more than my income, but I couldn't let my husband and his expecting wife live on the street. I got in over my head and knew that I did not want to file bankruptcy, because I incurred that debt and felt like I needed to do the best I could to pay what I owed. National Debt Relief gave me a vehicle to be able to do that. When I looked at their reviews online and how many people that they had successfully helped and their ratings, kind of geared me that direction. Also, every one of their customer service reps treated me very well. They never made me feel bad about my decisions. They understood that sometimes just crappy things happen to good people. And they wanted to try and help. They have always been accommodating and friendly.

Our company was bought over by a corporation, and our pay periods got switched. I was on a strict pay period, and I freaked out. NDR said, "No problem. You may have to pay an extra payment now or down the road to make sure that your balance in your savings account matches your payout." But they made the switches. There were no penalties, and we got it done. I'm paying fees but they are also providing a service. And if I had filed bankruptcy, I would have been paying those fees to an attorney. My debt was my debt and that was the ethical thing to do. I would rather pay it for a service that is helping me pay back my debtors. I'm not getting harassing phone calls anymore.

The negotiator did all the work. I finished the program in December and I'm just waiting for my graduation packet. It was an overall easy experience. It was worth it.

I saw that National Debt Relief was one of the top ranked companies to use when I was looking online and the program has helped me a lot. Instead of having all the multiple payments that I have to remember to keep track of throughout the month, it's just two. They've been good at getting settlements as well. They've already settled three of my accounts. When I can't make my payments, they've been helpful in that. Especially with the Coronavirus going on and businesses being closed, postponing my payments has been a big help this year.

The only turnoff is that I am paying now and the years are longer. I wish I was told about the fees upfront. The company should improve on how we gonna see it, what it's going to look like, if it's going to be paid first or not, and things like that. But other than that, it has been great, compared to my husband who's in the same program and has been going to court.

Every time I talk to someone at NDR, they say that they'll take care of things. So, I've never had to deal with anything. There was a company that sent me to collections and they completely took care of all of it. I am very happy and glad that I am with them. I went from being completely stressed out because of all the credit card debt I was into to NDR saying “Hey, we'll give you one small payment.” It's definitely a lot of help that they give me.

I was using a couple of debt programs and they kept taking my money but nothing was happening over several months. I started reading up about National Debt Relief and I chose to go with them because it seemed like they were more of a national company and not a private one. So far, they've pretty much done everything they're supposed to. The process was pretty simple. It was right to the point, pretty much answered all the questions I needed, what I had, and for what I was doing it.

My advice is if you can pay extra, do so because it would help your situation and to get things done a lot faster. They told me all of this in the beginning so I'm working on that. I've already gotten several of my debts settled so that's a good thing. I will have already done half the debt within a year or so. If someone's looking to choose National Debt Relief, ask the questions about the timeframe of how long the program is going to be. I'm on point with mine right now. The most important thing is knowing where you are and following up all the time. Just stay in constant communication.

For the most part, National Debt Relief keeps me informed on settlements. As far as this one debtor I have, I always have to call them and ask what I am supposed to do about it. I was being harassed by one of my debtors and I kept calling National Debt Relief and letting them know what was going on. This was one of those loan things. For some reason, there was not enough funds there for National Debt Relief to get started on the account yet. I just tell the debtor National Debt Relief is handling it and to forward any questions or concerns to them. The debtor usually leaves me alone. Right now, I'm in a good place. I'm already seeing my credit score go back up so the program is helping a lot.

NDR made me stop paying my bills so that way, it would look like I'm in financial hardship and couldn't afford to pay any longer. As a result, they had me change my contact information to their address and their phone number in New York. While it's convenient because all of the debt calls go to them, what also ends up happening is they have programs where the debt collectors are allowed to see any past phone numbers and people that I used to live with, and they reach out to those people to try and collect the debts.

For example, one of my accounts with USAA has direct links to both of my parents and my sister. Since they couldn't reach me because it was going directly to the debt phone number, they reached out to all of my family to try and collect the debt, so that was absolutely mortifying. Then the way that they identified themselves, although it was kind of cryptic, was still enough of a hint to say that I was in trouble with my bills. I wish I would have known that before going into this program because what was supposed to be a private matter ended up becoming a public one to my family and that was totally embarrassing.

This process also made a huge impact on my credit. I went from having a score of 780 to my lowest one in the 440s. I was completely devastated. I'm finally in the 500s again. But I doubt that I'll be back at that kind of rating again by the end of this program. Late payments stay on credit reports for at least four years. However, two of my accounts have been settled and paid off and there's going to be at least two more that'll be settled and paid off by the end of this year. I would recommend them as an option. But at the same time, it would be the last recommendation I would give to my friends.

National Debt Relief took on the accounts that I was falling behind in that they were willing to negotiate with the creditors and drop my balance to a lower level. I would pay a certain amount every month and they withdraw money from that account and pay off these accounts. My payment was based on how much I owed and how much they thought they can close the accounts with. They negotiate with my accounts then call out to me and tell me that they've come to an agreement with the account and ask if I agree on it. If so, then they proceed with it. If not, they continue to argue with the creditor to try to bring down the balance even more. Every time I've had any questions or issues, I’ve contacted them and they have answered my questions to the point where I'm comfortable with the response and willing to move forward to come to an agreement to accept another closing on an account and further on.

NDR has managed to close out some accounts that I wasn't going to be able to close on my own. I only have two accounts outstanding and I still have some accounts that I have to deal with because they’re accounts that NDR wasn't able to touch. It's stressful enough to receive calls every day or every week from those accounts. I'm waiting to get called back to work and once am, I can get back on my feet and start repairing my credit.

I'm making monthly payments and they're settling the accounts. The cost that they're going to get is fine compared to what they're doing for me. They've settled several accounts and I'm probably about halfway done. They text me when they got a tentative settlement and they text me so I can approve the settlement. They describe what the settlement is, how much it's gonna be and how they're gonna make the payments to the creditor. Then I approve the settlement. The experience has been good.

But it's still taking forever.

The first two people treated me like I was absolutely crazy. I've known people that used National Debt Relief before and they were able to get the debts knocked down pretty good and get some decent settlement deals. I went with them and the service was good. They tried to put me on a lower payment plan but it creates a lot of issues with the debt collectors too because they get settlement agreements that have to be honored within a certain amount of time. I couldn't promise them any set amount during this because when we got hit with this pandemic directly, I lost my job immediately after that. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep the service at this time. I was going over the debt and income ratio thing with the payments that was why we backed off on it for a while to see what's gonna happen with all this craziness.

National Debt Relief knocked off a big chunk of what I had. We went from 24,000 deep and they got it to settle down about 18,500 which wasn't bad. When we left them, we were down to 14,000 or 15,000. They were knocking it down pretty quick. The only extra step I took when I was using them was I also hired a credit lawyer to work in conjunction with them which got a lot of debts knocked right off completely, things that we didn't even have to settle up with. With the two of them working together, it improved us quite a bit. We definitely want to jump back in and get it going again. We’re waiting until we get more stability here before we make that decision and commit to it.

If the creditors don't do the paperwork properly the credit lawyers can challenge that. If their paperwork is not in line with what it should be in conjunction with the debt, they have to sign the debt right off. It disappears. National Debt Relief could knock an even larger chunk off of people's debts. How the debts work, they're hitting a lot of people with 28%, 29% interest which is ludicrous. It’s illegal everywhere else in the world except for the United States. If you're persistent with challenging that debt and that interest rate, you can get it knocked down considerably. I'd even done it myself. We've been in a situation before where we didn't even use a credit consolidation company. It’s just that we had incurred so much debt in such a short amount of time that we needed that extra assistance to get it taken care of.

I enrolled with National Debt Relief and the process wasn't too difficult. The program has helped me to somewhat come to terms with some of my debts. I always try getting out of paying my debt. It's just that I've paid a lot of money since I've been enrolled in the program and every time I go on my Credit Karma or my account, I still owe a lot of money. I sometimes have to call and get clearer feedback as far as what is going on but I usually don't get any clarity. I should be able to answer all the questions that I'm asking on my own through the client portal. But sometimes, I need somebody to break down the information given to me. I really don't get any help with that. I've been paying over $300 a month since 2017 and I don't really know where my money is going.

I’ve tried to cancel the program quite a few times and try to do it myself because I'm not getting the head or tail on how the whole situation is going. But I was convinced that if I stayed in the program for one more year or two, everything would be over. That would be a lot easier instead of having to start all over. $340 something a month is a lot of money I’ve been paying for almost four years now. One thing I am really confused about is the fact that I never get a clear answer on what percentage of my monthly payment is going to National Debt Relief and what percentage is going to my creditor. Nobody could ever answer that question for me. I wouldn't recommend anybody to National Debt Relief.

I was trying to work eight days a week to pay the bills and I just couldn't do it, so I reached out to National Debt Relief. It was pretty good dealing with their consultant. There were seven different bills and they just took them all and worked them all together. The price of the service is good and they worked the payment plan out pretty good. But lately, I had to cancel my payments ‘cause my work slowed down here a little bit. So they’ve been helping me out. Overall, the experience has been really good and I'm not working eight days a week anymore.

When I was talking to the associate originally, he made me feel very comfortable with the process. He explained it to me and answered all my questions. When I called back ‘cause I had more questions, he was very forthcoming with everything. He was very helpful and I didn't feel judged based on things. So, that makes a big difference. NDR took a look at everything and we kinda worked it out so that I could make monthly payments and it's automatically withdrawn. It's enough that I can still take care of everything I need to going forward, and still make sure that my debt is taken care of.

I made one or two payments to National Debt Relief and then we sold our house. We weren't even trying to sell the house but somebody literally walked in and said they would give us 25,000 more than what it was worth. So I contacted National Debt Relief and asked them what the total balance would be at the end. I wanted to pay them off completely and be done with it. So they gave me a figure and I sent that check to them. But once we paid it off, there's been three different times that they debited my account once again for the monthly figure. They did tell me ahead of time that they could only do that out to three months, and then I would need to call back in. All three times, they got my money back to me within a week. So I would recommend them.

I talked to two different reps and they were quite knowledgeable. I called once and the lady explained everything to me. I told her that I would have to think about it because I wasn't sure if that's what I wanted to do. Then I called back not quite a month later and I talked to a different person. They explained it to me all over again and then, I told them I wanted to join. Everything they did, they explained to me. I had four things on the list that they're supposed to be paying for me and they've taken care of one already. I've got one they're taking care of right now and it's supposed to be done in March. I told them I couldn't afford any more than what I was paying them a month, so they're only doing one bill at a time. I'm not worried about the bills right now because they're taking care of them.

If NDR had an offer, somebody from customer service would reach out and see if I agreed to the terms. On pre-program, they calculated what I could afford to pay, like a three-year plan. It just took a little bit longer because things came up throughout the years and I couldn’t make the payment, so they were able to defer some of the payment. I found out later that they would essentially take a 20% fee on the total value of what I owe regardless of what they settle. I should have looked further into the fine print. I had one creditor where I owed $500 and they settled for the full amount but I still had to pay the 20% on top of that as their fee. But ultimately, in the long run, it balances out on the larger creditors. Overall, it's been good.

I was about bankrupt which is what caused me to get in touch with National Debt Relief. I had debts that I was paying off regularly on my own. But at that stage of the game, I had no private practice any longer and I was stuck with a lot of bills that had to come in regularly. I explained all of this to National Debt Relief and they set up a program for me. I remember owing American Express something like $4,000. I've been with them for 40 years and I never missed a payment. Now, I had no payment to give to them. National Debt Relief set up a payment plan where they took X number of dollars out of my Social Security and we agreed on the amount that they would take out each month.

Every now and then, they send me a notice of a debt that has been paid off. I get a list of how it's being paid off and at what rate. If I have questions are concerns, I call them and within at least three minutes, somebody will come on the phone. They may be a different person each time but they address it. So far, so good. It's kind of a relief to know that you're not totally bankrupt and some of your bills are being paid. They told me that it would take between two and four years to get rid of the debt and I'm kind of counting on that. It has allowed me to at least have enough money to buy food and pay rent.

It's taken a lot of stress off me because I can now pay my bills and not have to worry about the creditors calling me every couple of days to ask for a payment.

Setting up the program with National Debt Relief was great. I'm almost done with the payoffs and whatever I've paid into them, they're going to continue to pay off the creditors. So I'm almost halfway through the program. The quality of the service is excellent. Their reps are very helpful and knowledgeable and they have good customer service. Since working with them, there have been no collection calls and my bills are being paid down. On a regular basis, I'm seeing payments being posted to those accounts that I've done with NDR. They send me regular updates by email so I know where I'm at.

The consultants explained what NDR was trying to achieve. NDR has gotten in contact with one of my creditors and they explained how much I owed. They gave me an offer that the other company had offered and told me how much they would be taking each month out of my account that they set up, and exactly how many weeks or months it would take to get to that amount. They just made it really easy. I was not able to keep up with the credit cards and so now, they've got them to where there's a manageable amount. It's a good experience that has allowed me to be able to pay my bills down, which is very important to me.

National Debt Relief said they're gonna negotiate my credit cards and get the lowest amount they can, and try to pay them off. And so far, so good. I was looking everybody up online, and I liked their commercial. I looked up online and read a little bit on them, and I liked them. The only thing is that since I've gone with them, some of the credit cards that they're negotiating with have gone to other agencies and they're sending me things in the mail. The negotiation from these other places is freaking great. I'm not dealing with them because I'm with National Debt Relief, but I've told National Debt Relief what I'm getting in the mail and I sent this to them. Some of the deals that these credit cards are offering me are unbelievable. They are better than what National Debt Relief has done.

National Debt Relief was informative and easy to talk to. Whoever I talk to if I have to call and have questions is good. They take their time and talk to me about it. They answer questions that I may have. They follow up with email or call back or any one of those communications. They are patient and thorough. They negotiate the debts and I pay them off. For the most part, they’ve been working with me through the payment plans. For each one that comes up, they discuss it with me. They send an email or contact me via text letting me know that there’s a plan that they can negotiate with or a settlement, and we discuss it. I could accept or decline the settlement and most time I accept it.

I had around 10 items. Three are paid off, two are in the process of being paid off, and I have five that they're gonna work on. It’s supposed to take about 42 months. It's only been a year and I’ve already got rid of almost half of it. There are costs but they're not extremely high and I'm okay with them. National Debt Relief has made it more manageable for me to manage my bills and payments and work out a plan of how to work on my credit and bring everything back to a better standing. I haven't gotten there yet the way I want to be but I’m working it and it’s getting there.
