    During the enrollment process with National Debt Relief, I spoke with somebody and gave him my bills and income information as well as all my debts that I needed help with. They came up with an amount that sounded easy and fair to me, and it's been manageable. I haven't had any problems with having to pay that. I can look at everything online on my account or the offers that I get to put another creditor to add to the program to start making a settlement with. The reps have been all helpful, courteous and knowledgeable.

    I was part of a different debt relief program years ago with another company and when I was with that program, I paid a monthly fee and they dispersed my payments to all the people that I was in collections to. I was off of that program probably within 15 months. With NDR, it goes one account at a time and it takes a long process. But I've already put myself in this and I'm not gonna back out of it. The program has helped me clear up some of my debt. I'm not fully out of the program yet, but I'm getting there.

    I wish I could have a little more control fine tuning over when the money comes out because my account is constantly going negative. Every two weeks, on average, it'll be a different day that the money will come out. But I've been getting better at that by making sure that all that week, I've got that extra money in my account for NDR. I also wish I would receive more regular updates. I sign in every few months just to check and see where the money is going. Other than that, I don't hear from them, and I assume no news is good news.

    IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME THAT FOR THIS TO WORK...I have to NOT be talking and paying the debt. I have to create a hardship, hard nose character and cancel all auto pays and etc... even get a new account numbers on my retirement check deposits. The credit card people will then talk to NDR and settle for something less than they want.

    The person who took me through the initial process made me feel secure and confident that we could take care of it. I really appreciated the comfort, the confidence, the ease, the ability to sign up, and the understanding of the cost. But what should be provided upfront is the full disclosure of the fees -- not just the percentage but the actual total amount. That's not very clear. There are taxes and everything else involved and people don't realize that until later. It's explained but having that in writing upfront would help avoid questions in the future.

    The initial process was great but now, I'm following up with the creditors to make sure the payments that I'm making are being applied. It's funny because I have to get through a supervisor’s supervisor’s supervisor every time too. I appreciate what they've done and I really like the supervisor. I just hate that I have to escalate it every time.

    It takes so long for payments to reflect on the dashboard and it freaked me out. I almost flipped out and I called them. There are just some things that need to be a little bit clearer. Also, I had three credit cards and I was really disappointed with the third that I was threatened to be sued if I didn't go along with the amount that they said. Other than that, NDR did really well on the first two. They went down 50% and they saved me a lot of money. It's worth it but I would like people to reach out more often with a phone call or an email about how things are going. Like right now, I would love to get an email telling me exactly how much my balance is and how many more payments do I have to go.

    National Debt Relief is slow on getting things resolved. I was unimpressed. NDR could do a more active role in calling the creditors up and telling them to leave us alone, and that we’re in the program and we’re working things out. So, it seems like NDR has not done a lot. They gotta have money in the bank to make the settlements but it was a little bit disappointing that we're still getting harassed by the creditors. I thought that was gonna go away and that things would be happening sooner. It’s waiting for four or five months till they get money accumulated and settle with someone else. Then wait another four or five months. I'm surprised it works that way.

    It seems like NDR is sitting on this so long where the creditors have no idea what's going on. They keep waiting for money, keep sending letters and keep wondering. These people that supposedly NDR was gonna work with haven't been notified and told to back off. They were not told that NDR was gonna handle this for us. The creditors are not gonna contact them since they're not working with them.

    I really appreciate the help that National Debt Relief gave me when I needed it. I thought I was going back to work, so I was using my credit cards to cover me. Then when I found out my shoulders were torn, I had to apply for disability and NDR minimized the debt I owed. All I had to worry about was one payment, and everything was done in a timely fashion. They've handled everything well. My payment was 500 a month and I didn't have an income, so I can't believe I've been doing it. The only part that I couldn't understand was if I pay off a loan and they keep taking money out of my account to build up to pay off the next one or to negotiate the next deal. I only have one more creditor that we need to negotiate with and I don't know why they're waiting.

    The fee that National Debt Relief charges is better than to have the whole balance and people need to know that. At first, I thought it was a lot, but when I add it up, it's still better than what I would have done on my own or paid. The fees are 100% justified. That's what people might not want to pay and think that they can get negotiated without help, but it's more professional and organized when National Debt Relief does it, so it's worth the fee.

    The NDR reps explained everything very well and made it clear during the enrollment process. They answered any questions that I had about how it was going to work. The reps I've worked with have all been great. I called because I got engaged. I bought a ring and I called to see if there was any way I could lower my payments for the next two months to give me a little break. They didn't have any issues with it and they dropped my payment down by $200 for last month and this month. They've been really easy to work with.

    Also, everything has been pretty simple. I check the app or the website pretty often to see how things are going. Also, any time they get a settlement, they always send me an email so that I know to get on there and approve it. The website is easy to navigate.     The rep called me back and told me what their program and what they are about, and asked me what my financial concerns were. Then he walked me again about how it works and how they set it up. Within half an hour, he already set up my appointment plan. Within a year, NDR had paid off almost all of my debt. They have consolidated and settled. One of my credit cards was 10 grand and they settled it for 2,000, Their negotiators were really good and kept me up-to-date on everything that was going on. When I emailed them, they replied within 24 hours. There's only one remaining and it was over 30 grand. The last time they called me, I really had a hard time, and I asked if they would reduce the monthly payment because I got laid off in 2019, and I had lost my house. However, nothing has happened.     I worked with National Debt Relief in the past and they helped me with my bills. This time, I want to put a couple of my loans in National Debt Relief. The first time that I used them, the program was not as bad because my credit score was already messed up. But this time around, I had a good credit score and it's difficult for me now because my score has gone down. So it's not really as good because I'm thinking about getting out of the program. I was fixed for two payments to come out. But now I'm down to one because I only can afford one payment coming out each month, and I don't like how two of my accounts are not being taken care of. They're just dangling because I don't have enough money to be spread over all of them. National Debt Relief is only making payments on the two accounts that they have already negotiated on. I really don't like that. I'm trying to find somebody going to be able to help with all of my accounts.

    You can call in to customer service or send a message to ask your question and National Debt Relief will send you a message back and answer your question. But National Debt Relief doesn't send you a copy of what they're negotiating. Whenever they make the deal, they'll send you those terms and say, “This is what we've come up with. This is what we’ll be paying,” but that's all.

    I paid off some of the debt myself that was going to be taken care of because I got tired of the phone calls and the letters and one bank said they didn't deal with any debt relief companies. I called NDR to find out if the cost would be lowered because I've settled some of the debt and by that time, the payments to cover the cost of the service had already been taken out. I already paid, so there was no way to get that back. It wasn't something that destroyed me, but I thought it would have been negotiated. NDR settled everything except for one account and if I would have been given an option to go a different way and settle that one account, I would have gone a different way. Communication is more important as far as letting me know that I could have paid off in a faster way. Nonetheless, the experience was non-confronting and easy to go through.

    I pay National Debt Relief $200 every two weeks and with that, they're paying off all the different credit cards. Then, they tell me what I have left. But my credit doesn't seem to get better.     I wanted to go with the best when it came to my credit, and National Debt Relief happened to have five stars. I called to see my eligibility and what my options were. I was given my options, and then the process was quick and efficient. It was like dead weight lifted off my shoulders. I even recommended a few people to enroll. I’m very happy. The program is simple to understand and you don't really have to do much work besides making your payments, and they handle everything on your behalf. I've seen my credit improving. I'm able to afford my bi-weekly payments. I love it.

    They told me what my exact amount was. They told me what I would end up paying if I continued paying the minimum on top of the late payments or interest fees I was currently accumulating. Then they gave me the settlement amount that I could have, and I felt comfortable with the amount.     With National Debt Relief, I have no problem with getting answers or anybody reaching back to me. The program has been pretty comfortable for the most part. As far as my debt consultant, I got my question answered fast. When they tell me they have a settlement offer and they negotiated, it's pretty much either take it or leave it. They said "Nah. You could decline it, it's just, don't know if you'll get another offer like that." They say the first offer's the best, and usually, they wipe out about 60%. So, I just go with the flow.

    The only thing is when I get my statements and I got a due, I'd like to see what my running balances are left on each one. You can't find that out. It'd be nice if it shows on the website, "You have 800 of 1,500 left to pay" or something. Also, it'd be nice that if you got an offer, somebody would call you and say, "Hey, this is the offer." There could be more communication than just to opt to the computer. That's what I would like.

    I really liked my supervisor that was there at the end. She was very supportive and positive during this whole thing. I wanted to make a final settlement with Nordstrom, my last creditor, for several weeks and months, because I had enough money.     My mother used National Debt Relief. She said great things about them that was why I checked and found them with the reviews. The process with them is very easy. They reach out. They don't wait for you to call, especially with covid going on. I have my own business and when trying to get through to people, you'd be on the phone for 35, 40 minutes waiting for somebody to pick up, whereas with National Debt, there's somebody right there every time I call. The reps are very helpful. I called probably about 10 times in the last two years and they're top-notch.

    We're more than halfway through the program now. With business coming back and trying to get back on track here, I should have this done hopefully, by the end of this year. The best part of it is the peace of mind. You don't have the phone calls from the credit card companies. The biggest thing is you don't have revolving debt. I see the payoffs. It hits your credit but at least you get your debt paid off. There is quite a bit of fees involved with it and though I would like to see those a little bit lower, it's still better than paying 22% on a credit card. Also, I did research on other companies and they were 30, 40% higher than National Debt Relief's fees.     I've worked with several representatives because we've been with National Debt Relief for almost two years and they've all been very nice and professional. When we first started, I didn't understand the commission that they took off one of the first debts that they settled. So, I was wondering why but once they explained it to me, I understood. Their commission was 10% of the original debt and that made more sense as to why the payments weren’t being completed. They're a very good company to work with. They negotiate your debts down because before we were on the National Debt Relief program, we were paying about 2,200 a month in credit card bills and on NDR, we're paying a little less than 800 a month.

    The downside, and this goes with any debt relief company, is you have to stop paying your normal bills so that NDR can negotiate the debts down and that tanks your credit score. When we started and we had to stop paying the monthly payments on all of our credit cards, my credit score was 482. But since then, it's come up to about 630 and they have cleared about a little over 50% of the debt that I had.

    National Debt Relief put me on the plan to lower my debt. The reps were almost always very helpful and offered plenty of information. But I remember two times that I had somebody on the phone that wasn't great or disconnected and didn't call back. I didn't understand the fees very well throughout but there was more benefit than not, so I didn’t mind them. After I paid off my first credit card credit account, I immediately noticed changes in my credit score as I was going. So, it was nice to have that immediate output.

    I saw National Debt Relief close one of my accounts pretty fast. It was within 9 to 10 months. I was very happy. All of the reps have been super nice. They called when they got an offer letter and told me how many months it was gonna take me to get to that. They broke it all down for me which was nice. I couldn't pay the original amount they wanted me to pay, and I told them that I just lost my husband. They worked with me on the amount. It's been a huge weight lifted. They're very compassionate. The only thing is I keep getting generic emails from them but it would be good for them to send out an email to say where we're at once every six months.
