I don’t usually make phone calls for accounts, but it felt like a scam in that I could have paid much less than what he said I would get with the program. What really makes it sound like a scam is third parties. I’m not sure if I can find another business to take more off my debt in settlements than they did, but he didn’t listen to how much my monthly bill is right now and gave me a higher monthly bill than what I am paying. I don’t know if it’s best, but they seem to want a pay off date. This call basically raised how much I pay each month, but I said I can’t afford things like I wanted to by paying for debt directly like I have been myself. I think the man is just coming from different jobs in customer service and he is just trying to get you to like his job and what he can offer. My situation could change soon, which I didn’t mention because he just wants to enroll me in the program, but I may ask for a lower monthly payment.

They get your monthly payment reduced to be affordable instantly which is great. Saved me $700 a month. Only downside is your credit score goes down to ridiculously low levels for 3-6 months until your debt holders accept a settlement. Need to make sure you don’t need to finance anything like a car or move to different apartment or do anything that requires a reasonable score for that time frame. That's only downside. Then it goes back up after your settlement is accepted. They handle all of it for you and is make it simple with affordable payments and big overall savings. Even have an attorney for you if creditors try to come after you.

Looking at my statement I do see bills getting paid but all the continued legal fees which take a big chunk out of my payment along with the other fees seem to be more than the interest being charged by the creditors. I also only see some of the creditors being paid and not all of them. My understanding was that payments would be made to all parties thereby bringing down my debt.
