E.g. 40% of the total debt owed to Wells Fargo... 40% of the total debt to First National Bank and 40% of the total debt to Chase. NDR would collect a total of $368.00 ($184.00 X 2 = $368.00) each month leading to a pay-out of the best negotiated amount that represents savings of over 50% for each debt. My understanding was that NDR would handle everything as far as negotiating the lowest amount payback to creditors.

I was seeking a way to consolidate credit card debt and National Debt Relief was my answer. Everyone I dealt with was very informative and professional, ensuring that I completely understood everything within the program. The enrollment and welcome process are very thorough.

Clearing up old debt - Well so far so good but I'm just happy to find a company willing to help in my matters and Mr. ** and the welcome people have been so helpful and I'll be so happy this is off my back and a new fresh start.

I was not happy to have to contact NDR but Marc was fantastic! He listened to my story, was non-judgmental and supportive, and explained what NDR could and could not do for me. He was patient as well and went over the program thoroughly. Vanessa was just as thorough during the welcome call and I feel like I have a good knowledge of what is to come. It is not going to be easy but at least I have support.

NDR will ruin your credit! Everything they tell you is the most optimistic scenario. #1 - All creditors work with us. NOT TRUE! One creditor (the largest debt I had) would not settle and ended up filing a judgement before NDR "settled" with them for the entire balance. This prevented them from settling on any of my other balances - they kept asking me for more money, probably for about 2 years, to build up my account enough to settle with the other creditors. After 3 years, only 1 of 4 accounts were actually paid off and settled. I also paid about 34% interest with their fees. It would've been MUCH BETTER had I gotten a low-interest loan to consolidate the debt than to use NDR!!! I was too embarrassed about my situation to talk to anyone else about it and made a HUGE MISTAKE!

They seem to be slowly taking care of my debt thoroughly, but are taking a bit long for me. I do like that they pretty much take the wheels to your debt and handle it. I would recommend them to others all the same though.

I was very pleased that my latest card settlement was for 1/3 of what I actually owed. When I call in for help, the person taking my call is always friendly. They send email when there are updates to my account.

Questions about the "Authorization to Speak and Negotiate" - I called today and spoke with a man about this and he was quite rude actually. He made me feel bad for having a question about what I was signing. I felt like I had no business questioning that form and just to "do it"! We were on a recorded line if you'd like to review it. Might want to teach him better phone etiquette and to treat people with respect and consideration. This process is difficult as it is and for me anyway, it's hard to have to go through this so a little understanding and compassion would be nice. Thank you.

Fairly new, only a couple months in, but everything that the original 'agent' told me is taking effect. The customer service team/Global Client Solutions team is great. The only feedback I would have is that it was evident to me that the original person I spoke to was in it for the sale and then there's a clear hand-off to the customer service team and during that transition I had several more questions, but the original person went dark on me. Other than that though, it's been a good experience so far and seems to be working.

National Debt Relief keep me updated every time there is a settlement with a credit card via email or phone call. Any changes to my account they always communicate with me. When I speak to customer service they are always polite and they listen to what you have to say.

When choosing a debt free company it is a very hard process. I had received a lot of companies wanting to help but NATIONAL DEBT had the BBB backing them up. Sam ** was wonderful and she helped with the process and helped me understand just what the company was offering. If I had a question, I knew I could call her and she was right there to help me. The only problem I came across was getting the documents to upload and had to get this done by a friend and print them out. So far so good. The process is long but well worth the effort of being debt free again and not have to worry of not answering the phone.

I appreciate all the NDR has done for me to settle my debts to this point. However, the process has been extremely slow and payoff schedules are very drawn out. I'd like to get my life back on track and they seem to be stretching things out to earn more money on their side. They contacted me after 6-8 months of on time payments to say I could apply for a consolidation loan but I was rejected for bad credit... duh! I'm in a debt settlement program. Really stupid.

Updated on 05/04/2019: I had way too much credit card debt grounding slowly. I saw the National Debt Relief commercial, which was extremely easy to understand on TV, and when I called and spoke with a couple of different people on the phone, they were extremely helpful. What really stood out to me about what they were offering was being able to get all of my debt taken care of in three years instead of having to pay it all off. It would save me an enormous amount of money, about 52% overall, so it is quite a huge saving. I have some debts that have been settled, but I still have some that are open that I'm waiting on acceptance from their part.
