I haven't noticed the fees attached to the settlements, they are almost as much as the settlement amounts, so basically you are paying the whole settlement amount but it just seems you're paying less. I am also very dissatisfied that on one of my settlements, they stretched the payments $5 per month for over a year so they could get more fees paid. After seeing this, I decided to close my account with them.

Need better communication. Forms - You need to be able to convert PDF if that is not what you need and not ask customers jump through hoops trying to send to your preference. I had delay after delay and no email referring to issues.

They use an outside law firm who are experts in settling with credit card companies. Refreshing to get no harassing calls or emails. I can sleep better just by automatically making the suggested monthly payment. Can always pay more but never less. I've even visited their nice shiny clean building in Tempe Arizona.

The consultants tell me it will take time but do not keep me totally aware of where the money is going. I do not really know how much is being held for fees and other cost. From the amount I have put into account and the amount being paid out I see big difference. Plus I still have other accounts to settle.

When I called up and was asking questions about my account the person couldn't answer my questions and I was told to call back in a few days. Getting the run around. It seems like that too many people are involved in these accounts. It would be a lot easier if each client had a dedicated person to ask for about their account.

So far so good. I am still in the middle of settling all debts. So far they have been able to settle 3 of my debts. It does take a while but again, so far, I'm satisfied. I also like that they are able to represent you if sued by the creditors.

FDR is really helping me pay off my debt and have a better relationship with money. NLLG and FDR make sure I have someone fighting for me. They both make sure I know and understand what is going on. If I have any questions they are always willing to help me.

There are times when I feel the customer representatives are not pushing the creditors to settle the debt. For instance. Lowe's was trying to contact your organization and when they did not receive any return phone calls, they sent a subpoena to me and I had to pay it off out of my own pocket. Then I had to do through hoops to show your company that I had actually paid it off.

My wife and I have been dealing with insurmountable debt for awhile and even considered bankruptcy. This program is the best alternative to bankruptcy and getting out of debt. The staff, especially Jeff **, was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend.

They have been upfront with me from the start about what kind of experience I could expect. To be honest they will tell you the worst case scenario for creditor reactions, but, I appreciated it because, thus far, it hasn't happened that way. But I was well braced in case it did go that way. They also provide detailed instructions on how to make the experience easier on yourself. As long as you are willing to work with them, they work for you and things go so much smoother with less anxiety than one could expect. The service reps are great to work with and know what they're doing. I've received reasonably prompt responses to my inquiries and when I send in documents to them for filing. (Considering a couple of times were on holidays the time was very reasonable.) I can definitely recommend Freedom to anyone needing this kind of help in their financial life.

Once we were able to get all my debts identified and set up, we followed the script and had all the collectors call FDR as well as scanning all the mail to Support@FDR.com. I go to my dashboard and see my debt going down and each month and I don't have the hassle of dealing with the vultures. Freedom Debt Relief has eased a tremendous burden on me and my family.

Very helpful and good customer service always have an answer for you when you call them or they will get you to someone who can help you. They keep you updated with your progress and how they are doing on your program almost every month and send email.

After my initial hesitation to seek relief, I could not be happier! The set up process is extremely thorough - be prepared to spend at least an hour - if not longer - on the phone for the initial set up. After that the process is easy. I have already resolved 2 credit cards for much less than had I paid the balance in full. Unless you have the time to negotiate with your creditors directly, I highly recommend.

Before signing up with FDR in 2015 I was having trouble sleeping, wondering how I was going to pay my bills every month. After the initial harassing by my creditors, and the one lawsuit I didn't have to fight on my own, I am sleeping peacefully knowing that in about 13 months, I will be nearly debt free (no-one is ever debt free :-) ). The chunk every month is a little hard to swallow, but I no longer have to figure out who will and won't get paid every month.

I was not behind in my bills. I thought they would consolidate them all at once and make payments on all of them. But that is not the case. I had too many credit cards... my fault, but my credit wasn't good now. It is poor. I pay an substantial amount a month and it seems hardly any is paid on the debts. I wish I would of researched this more thoroughly. I get subpoenas frequently. I never expected this because I trusted Freedom Financial totally. Just beware. I'm half way through it and it is not all roses. More like the thorns.

The overall experience was very good. The only bad part was the calls from debt collectors - they did not stop for months! It was not Freedom's fault, but it was still very nerve-wracking. They are extremely expensive. They settled one debt. In one of my debts, instead of lowering the payment, it went higher. I just did not trust them anymore. What good does it do a person for Freedom Debt Relief to settle a debt, then they charge you a lot of money to settle. I had asked several times, how they charged to settle the claim. I spoke to Travis **. He was very vague in his answer. He said, "We are a program." I understood that it was free to help people pay their bills. I asked him several times and he would tell me the exact dollars that I owed to debtors. I was so in dire need of help, that I went for it. Never again, I will never trust people again.

Dealing with my creditors and resolving debt to prevent bankruptcy. The personnel is very courtesy, understanding and quick to resolve any questions that I may have. I am pleased with the way that my accounts have dealt with so far. They are also very pro-active and work hard to find a resolution.

I have not received any paper work that describes the costs of your services -- the amount of interest-- the fees attached to your services, etc. I have seen the response from The Costco AMEX card that the account has been paid off, but I don't know how much of the amount deposited into FDR as related the amount paid to AMEX...

Freedom has been successful in reducing my credit card debt substantially and I look forward to being completely debt free within another year or so. They advised me in the beginning of this "journey" not to get any more credit cards (I get offers almost everyday), and I have not. Not happy with the service. Companies don't get notified. Letters don't get sent out and the payment is too high and they tell you that if you change the payment then you will end up in the negative. Made me feel like I would have to pay them.

I have called several times to remove Discover card on my dashboard as I settled with them myself. It keeps showing up. Please remove. I also had a problem adding my Amex account which should have been on my dashboard from the very beginning.

They helped me payoff 2 credit cards within a 6 month period that would have taken me a couple years to pay. Another credit card company sued me, but FDR helped me with a lawyer to handle everything for me. They really have helped me out with my situation.

I'm very satisfied with the results of the Freedom Debt Relief Program. One thing to remember, any money save on your owed balances, will most likely be added as income when you file your taxes. So talk to your tax advisor so you can plan for that.

The people are very helpful and couldn't be friendlier - I ran into a problem when I was referred to litigation on one of my accounts (Discover). The judgment was for $1165.30 and was next up on the collection negotiation process. I called to see where we were on communicating with the law firm (Rodenburg Law Firm) and was told by Chris (?) that the process would take a while as Discover was very slow. I now have received a payment agreement form for $85.24 due now and $77.00 for 11 mos. Why do we have to drag this out for so long when the funding is available in my account to cover. I don't believe the "left hand is communicating with the right hand." Also I reported that my dashboard is not working and they were going to check into it still not working. Other than that a wonderful program and a good learning experience.

We're not upfront from the beginning. Just let your cards sit there and don't actively "negotiate" a settlement while debt collectors call you. Any money they "save" you they pretty much collect in fees. They don't listen to you or do what you ask when it's your money, your credit score, your life!!!! Deceitful scammers.

I have been very happy with my results. So far all questions I have asked was taken care off. In August I will complete my first account paid and my second one in December. Hoping everything will work out the rest of the way. One more account to go.

In the beginning I thought bankruptcy would be the only way to get out of debt - then came across Freedom Debt Relief and the counselor walked me through the process and although it was painful to watch my credit score fall - I've been watching it slowly go back with every account that gets paid and knowing that I'm paying my credits and not defaulting means a lot to me.

The sales pitch was that you were an "investor" and the rate was 4.1%. Not true. As I got into the program it was always just my money and the fee was 18% of the original balance. If I realized that the fee was 18% on top of the settlement I would not have agreed to the settlement amount. While I should have read closer, it was a very deceptive sales pitch. If someone has said 18% I probably would not have signed up to begin with.

I am so pleased with Freedom Debt Relief. Without Freedom Debt Relief I would struggle making these credit card payments since I am now retired. I recommend anyone who's considering doing a consolidation of their credit cards, please check into Freedom Debt Relief first.

This seems to be working ok. Simple set-up, initial negotiating have been good. Some fast, some slow. Communications can be difficult. When you call, you do not talk to the people who are the negotiators. Just money collectors, who don't have any updates or answers. It was difficult trying to get through to the correct people. I have one debt being paid with $22, 18 months(?). No one asks or tells you if you can pay this in a shorter time. Base program is good though. I would like more info and choices for time, etc.

I found the program to be excellent the first two years but from October last year I had only three bills remaining and has only settled one so far. Otherwise I like the program. It has help me with my bills and I am almost debt free. As I said I am happy with the experience.

When I call customer services I feel that I have to explain myself over and over because my files are not in front of them.

Updated on 03/18/2020: Overall, everything has been working out well, and I have been happy with it for the most part. However, it is taking a lot longer than what I thought it would take. They told me roughly four years, but I know it was not an exact science with that, so I wasn't too upset about it. But I had two of the debtors try to sue us ahead of all of it while we were doing all this. So, I had to pay extra for six or eight months until they could go ahead and negotiate them out of it and be ahead and not behind. I understand they are in it to make some money too, but I wonder how much I've saved over the long run -- I might have been better off arguing with these people myself and pay them a little bit more. Still, it is a good service, and it keeps the people off your back for the most part. It takes a little bit of time to get that going, but at least they chase them around instead of them chasing me around.

We began this debt reduction journey 10 months ago and have already saved $12,000 due to Freedom Debt Relief's ability to negotiate settlements with our creditors. Customer service representatives are always helpful and patient with our questions, and there are no hidden fees or surprises.

I'm very happy with the way things are going but could speed up on negotiations a little quicker! The court ordeal with Bank of America was handled excellent! Also on the accounts that are presently getting paid need to have dates under/Next to payment for tracking purposes on account. They were previously that way until changed! So far have had one creditor paid off and three others being paid off. There are 13 other creditors to make settlements with and three and a half years to go. It's hard and we're learning a new way of dealing with our finances in a new way. The first six months or so are hardest especially with the creditor calls and ignoring all of them, but now don't get any more at all. Had one litigation against us so far from a creditor but immediately gave it to National Litigation Law Group who are handling it as power of attorney--would recommend getting this as an extra precaution to anyone signing on.

I let Freedom Debt take over with getting my debt consolidated and balances reduced when I was unemployed for several months after moving and needed some relief. They have been great to work with and help me get my debt manageable.

It started out a bit bumpy when we had a miscommunication of 1 payment split into 2 turned into biweekly payments the way I get paid! The only problem is the way I get paid is why I had to get into the program and why I wanted to just make 2 payments not one or 3 which now happens. I make 3 twice a year seeing as it got set up by my pay schedule so we had to finally get a schedule worked out that didn't mess up payments to debtor's like happened on the one card even though the agent was almost sure it wouldn't and we missed the settlement by 1 payment and have to start over again with that client after having it down to the last payment that got messed up.

I have been enrolled with FDR for less than a year. At this point one of my debts has been resolved and paid off. Another debt will be paid off within the next few months. I have a total of 5 debts that FDR is resolving. So, within my first year I will have paid off 2 of those 5. The 3rd is already being paid. The other 2 are in negotiation. I have been very happy with the communication and program thus far. I will be saving a great deal of money using FDR and will have my debt paid off much sooner than paying the minimum due on each of these accounts. I highly recommend speaking with FDR. I am confident they will be able to assist you.

I was terminated erroneously. I have requested reinstatement. Your response for that reinstatement is to request to resign. Why should I have to resign? Your mistake, reinstatement should be automatically. Due to your mistake I am unable to finalize my last settlements!!!

I read a lot of reviews about this before deciding to sign up. The most important thing to remember is, the program takes time- they need to negotiate with each creditor. So, if you are consistent in making your payments, the plan will work. Trust the process. I am currently one year into my program and more than half of my debts have been successfully negotiated, and, I have not added any additional money to my Freedom Account. If I did, it would speed up the process of the program. Be patient, it’s worth it.
