I was drowning in debt due to unemployment and unexpected family deaths. Freedom Debt Relief stopped all the nasty, demeaning phone calls that I was getting from creditors. In less than 3 1/2 years the debts are paid off, my credit is better and I can breathe again.

This was one of the hardest things I have had to come to reality with and Hannah was so helpful and understanding throughout this whole process. I felt an instant weight off of my shoulders after signing up and I am so glad that I did today. I am a lot less scared knowing I have a team of experts behind me.

I for one am VERY DISSATISFIED so far with Freedom Debt Relief. I've been with them now for months & months and they have yet to make one single payment. I could've already had lower balances paid off by now and higher balances at least paid down by quite a bit. I don't recommend this company at all. I've asked several times when payments will begin to my creditors and I get NO response as to when.

The FDR team has been very helpful to me to help resolve some credit card debt that has gotten out of hand. Although I'd like the process to move faster I realize it takes time to negotiate with creditors and I need to be patient with the process because they have successfully settled one of my accounts.

Our experience with FDR has exceeded our expectations in every way. What appeared to be a certain path to bankruptcy has turned out to be a life changing solution to financial freedom. Our hope and prayer is that everyone can gain the benefits we have enjoyed through the efforts and cooperation of the fine folks at FDR.

Debt is a slippery slope that many of us slide down and need a hand getting back up. Well upon discovering that my wife had ran up over $30,000 in unsecured debt with no plan on paying it back ever I went into panic mode. She was paying bills late with a minimum payment that many times didn't cover the late fee. So I found Freedom DEBT RELIEF. I spoke to a representative and they made me feel like they were there to help. They sent this ENORMOUS packet of information to fill out. I was panicked. I didn't read it. Signed up, stopped paying my creditors and started paying them. Oh did you know they get paid FIRST? When you sign up you agree to pay them 10% of all enrolled debt. They get paid when they make a settlement but that means they still get their FULL payment.

The sense of safety and relief I feel with Freedom helping me with my credit card debt can't be understated.. They are professional, easy to talk to, and I know I've got them helping me and backing me. The stress is gone, and I can finally sleep at night again.

I have contacted Freedom Debt Relief over 4 times on an account matter that they still to this very day have not cleared up. I am very hurt and disappointed in a company that does not take care of their customers. Especially a customer that's paying into their business. Due to the lack of customer services I've received, I have to give this company a 1 star.

It was a tremendous help to have the debt settled as being retired and on a fixed income. Never could have had this paid off without Freedoms help. This service is something I would recommend to anyone who is in the same situation I was in. Thank you for your help and service.

Very informative and made sure I knew exactly how the process works and how long it will take to resolve my debt and how it affects my credit now and in the future and how to handle creditors when they contact me going forward and how to handle any legal action.

I am glad the updates I suggested last time are there but I need a step further to be able to stop a EFT transaction online as well on my own. My student loans are like this others are. Your Rep browbeat as if I didnt know I'm in trouble. It's why I'm here.

I feel confident and relieved. Freedom Debt Relief has taken control and has handled all the unpleasantries I was unable to handle. Great customer service and everyone is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and nice. :D When I have a question, I email and almost instantly get a response back. Someone is always there to guide and support you. I will definitely refer to my friends and family.

Updated on 05/26/2021: I enjoyed working with the people who helped get my debt consolidated and the amount of time I would pay. I was actually able to pay mine early! Now I have no debt except a couple small credit cards to use for emergencies. It’s taken so much stress off my shoulders.

I'm very pleased with my experience with Freedom Debt Relief. They provided a solution to my problems and were extremely helpful. So far, they have settled one of my debts and I'm hopeful they'll have the rest settled soon. I'm very satisfied with their help.

Contacting FDR has been resourceful. The companies being paid off through the agreement plan have complied to expectations. However, one large company waiting for their payments end up making automated calls made to my local phone or cell phone with vocal contact or messages left on the answering service. This one 'big' brother company doesn't want to let his past client to leave him. The constant calls from the various Creditors have been blocked. All creditors has stopped calling except for the one company who I owe the most debt. FDR consistently reminds me that my account is in good standing and payments are being made regular on the due dates per month. I appreciate the professional advice from FDR and their consistent comments to help support my efforts to pay off these consolidated debts through their services.

I was with Freedom Financial and Consolidation Plus. The service at the call center was really good. Short hold times. Friendly staff. Most of my debt was handled well. However one debt was settled for HIGHER than the original debt. What was never mentioned at the start of services is that the negotiations for a particular creditor may not begin right away. Therefore fees rack up.

I find that the agent was super helpful and helped get me out of a bad situation. He explained everything in detail. Was constantly asking if we had any questions. Was amazed how fast he had a solution to our debt. Would sure recommend your company to other people.

Dorothy was absolutely amazing!!! She thoroughly explained everything in the process to us. We feel like there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel and we'll be able to get out of debt completely in the next several years!

FDR helped me close out all of the debt that I needed to reduce. I thought that everything was closed. However last month Midland Credit Management sent me a letter saying they had bought the debt of one of my Citibank cards. I thought this debt was resolved. The card said they did a collection charge off. So how could Midland buy the debt. They want to bill me for the entire original debt. Midland does not speak English very well so they are hard to talk to.

So far they have been great, they are helping me to manage my debt and yes I would refer them to a friend. At first I was really afraid but they have shown me that they can be trusted. Thanks to everyone.

Thanks to them and Consolidation Plus I am well on my way to becoming debt-free. I had three debts. The worst was from Discover which was over 12,000 and they were suing me. Extremely long time time to negotiate with creditors. Ignoring customer e-mails and phone calls about their concern on negotiation timing. After three months of waiting still not negotiating a critical account even if the funds are available. After few calls to follow up on any updates on the critical account, I've been told to do not call no more.

Never thought I would get out of this debt but with their help from Freedom Debt it is a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to them. Great team of people that I worked with them. Answered all my questions and always were very nice.

Very please. Have done everything they said they would do for me. Have already settle one of my claim. They keep me informed and up to date. If I have question they are quick to get my answer to me. All their employees are well train.

My experience with FDR has been a huge relief to me and my financial worries. Whenever I have had an issue come up they have responded with concern and helped me through with a solution. I am very pleased with the decision that I made to go with FDR.

The website only has one word showing the status of creditors. Strategic Hold, or Next. It's not a lot to go on when you are relying on this service and they're receiving a hefty part of your funds for it. I enrolled 5 creditors in January. Now it's mid September only 1 is Settled. No calls, no emails, (except for how wonderful they're) no mail, just silence. When I call in they are super annoyed and just tell me it's part of the process! They can't tell me anything else. Makes me a little nervous that I'm pooling funds enough to cover the next creditor on the list and they are on strategic hold! I feel some detailed communication should be included as much as they are earning off my debt.

I was a little nervous about the program. In the beginning was getting phone call, certified letters delivered to the house. The credit score decreased dramatically but I feel confident in that I will come out on top. I would definite refer the program to family and friends.

Overall, an excellent experience. I was connected to Freedom through another company. So initially I was confused as to who my point person would be. One of my debts has been resolved within the 6 month time frame as described. The paperwork was easy to complete. The instructions and information on how to handle debt calls easy and helpful. The website is helpful and easy to navigate. It would be helpful to receive an email acknowledging receipt of material on a consistent basis. Also, it would be helpful if Freedom provided and stuck with the phone numbers they are going to use to contact you with. I did not answer my settlement phone call because I did not recognize the number. But overall the experience has been an excellent one.

My Inquiry about Freedom Debt Relief was done very professionally. Many questions & doubts I had about the process were actually answered before I asked. I am very satisfied at this time and this is just into the program one week.

I have to begin with saying Thank you so much for everything!!! The Credit Consolidation program was so easy and in a little less than four years with your help I was able to pay off over $18000 of debt that costed me less than $12000 and furthermore now that I've completed the program I've already noticed my credit score going from about 580 up to 690. Already higher than it's ever been! This program was an amazing method to avoid claiming bankruptcy a second time in my young life. Not something I ever wanted to do, but I just could not get ahead of my debt. Each paycheck would go to late payments or an account that was overdrafted. Gary was so helpful with explaining EVERYTHING I needed to know. Set me up quickly with the best plan. I have a baby due in 3 months and I now feel as if I can start saving for the time off I will have to take after having the baby. I was getting nowhere with paying off my credit cards before I found Freedom Debt Relief, now I feel that there will now be a light at the end of a very long tunnel. Due to some unfortunate health issues, I became unable to work, so now I'm on Soc. Sec. leaving me on a fixed income. I do not understand why my accounts have not yet been negotiated and I even have money. There's too many fees with this service, it's not getting me out of debt as quickly. Way too much monthly and service fee that I was not aware of.

When you are having problems, the last thing you want out of a company that is to help you is to feel rushed or uncared for. That is NOT Freedom Debt Relief. They are compassionate and work with you at your pace so you feel good about the relationship.

Those I encountered, on the phone, or in writing provided me with a very clear understanding of my belief system and thinking as I decided to cancel in the very early goings of Freedom Debt Relief. When I provided my philosophy and beliefs in life, there was no trying to change my mind or put any pressure on my decision.

The negotiated settlements with the creditors are respectable so far in regard to the amount of the settlements, but a huge chunk of those "savings" are being consumed by Freedom fees. For example, one account was settled at 50% of the current balance, but after fees the "net savings" is only 33%. Much of the payment is being shifted to Freedom rather than the creditor. In addition there are Freedom's "Monthly Service Fees" and "Check Fees" that are applied every month too.

Allison ** started me on this journey, and couldn't be more professional and helpful. All of my call have been handled professionally, as well, and I've been overall very happy. I do wish I could put more $$ into it to speed things up, but one of my four accounts has been, at least, settled. Looking forward to more deposits and more settling.

Let the powers that be at Freedom Debt know how appreciative my father and I are for the help that they gave us and are still giving us. My father has been very ill and just recently got out of the hospital. We had extra expenses as a result of the Fall that my pops took for a fractured two vertebrae in his neck. Freedom Debt did not hesitate when I called to see if we could get our first payment deposited back into our account to help us during this time of need and get started back on track in October. I was told not to pay any of my debt which lowered my credit score. I received a summons from one of my debtors that I was being sued. On the same day, I was notified by Freedom that they had come to an agreement with another debtor. I called Freedom to be advised if I should agree to the agreement because of the summons. They told me that I should. Now because I did so, I have to pay an additional $115 a month to Freedom to cover the other company. This is more than I was paying prior to enrolling in Freedom, and now my credit score is horrible. I have less money than I did before.

At the beginning we were a little weary about the process; however, we are grateful and excited to see how fast the negotiation process is going. We are also thankful for the cut in payment to the creditors. Thank you/keep up the good job.

I would like them to pay our creditors a lot faster. We have about 27 creditors and only settled with 2. Been with the company only a little over 2 months. Still getting phone calls. Also having all creditors say they don't deal with you guys or you are a 3rd party and they don't deal with that.

I had a good experience. They were able to consolidate most of my debt on a two year plan. We had some trouble with one creditor, but it got settled. I worked with Alan, he was always nice and respectable. He was very understanding about my debt problems.

We joined Freedom Debt Relief in January 2017. We had medical issues and loss of income that put us behind with our credit card payments. It was time to do something to solve the problem. We were hesitant at first but faithfully made our monthly payment to Freedom and hoped for the best. We received our first settlement notification in August and we were thrilled! One down and 6 to go! We are on our way to being debt free! Our advice is to continue making payments and look forward to a new future!

I have not had any problems so far with my credit card companies. Freedom Debt Relief is doing a great job and I have recommend a friend. No harassing phone calls after I tell them that I am working with this company.

I was informed I had to cancel nationwide from the program. Unfortunately that acct has not been paid in 5 months and is now delinquent. That is the only negative experience so far in the program. I wish I would have just left them off the program to begin with. I'm sure I will get it paid and taken care of.

I emailed back and forth with one employee for several hours informing her of my situation. Said she would get back to me on Tues. She did call and she explained what happened and I needed to talk to someone else to explain or go forward. This rude person got on the line, never identified herself. Right off the bat was rude. Asking questions as what did I want, how would she help me. Hung up on me. When I called back no answer. Doesn't make me feel comfortable with their so called help. I don't trust someone who just plain rude and hang up on me. No I would never recommend this company if they have employees like this one. You just don't be mean to the people who help pay your wages. Businesses would never survive with employees like her unless they're hired to be rude to their customers. Not happy with their so called great service.

Can't thank the Freedom team enough for all the help provided towards my finances. Highly recommend Freedom to others, the biggest debt is already solved and I been using their services three months ago. Also they keep guiding me towards my accounts.

Process has been very slow and tedious due to dealing with attorney and unhappy letters in the mail. We were told it would happen 4-6 months and we are at a year already and only 1 of 5 debts sort of resolved. No real answers from customer service just for me to be patient.

So far it seems like things are going well, no complaints. The email responses have been good and I feel that everything is being handled fairly. When I have a question it is answered in a reasonable amount of time. I had to make a change in the amount owed one of my credit cards and it was handled well.

The "sales pitch" claims that you will be combining debt and that you are already approved for $. In all reality, you are forfeiting the earned credit on your credit cards and giving this company the cash you have on hand. I'm embarrassed to have to tell my credit card companies that I fell for the sales pitch! I was told by "Jeremy" to go through the verification call and respond "yes" to everything and if I didn't agree or had questions that he would be back on the line. This does not happen! In fact, when I did have a question and waiting for him to come back on the line, the call was disconnected. I quickly replied to a text that he sent, but didn't receive a response.

Very satisfied with the experience, very helpful with how system works and had all my questions answered. My husband and I looked at a lot of other companies, none meet the standards that Freedom Debt Relief has to offer. We look forward to the overall experience until we reach financial freedom. Have settled one account that I had removed from list originally. Haven't heard much from anyone at all. Hoping this program works for me. I have been getting calls from credit card companies on a daily basis telling me they were turning my accounts over to collection. And that they didn't deal with you guys.

Signing on with Freedom Debt Relief was a bad decision, of mine. A lot of creditors have never heard of Freedom Debt Relief. My credit score has gone from 705 to 496, since signing on. I've been sent to collections, by four creditors, since signing on. Things were not explained to me, very well. Obviously, they must receive a commission for signing in people, with this company. It's not worth it! They get 21% of your original amount owed, not the amount that they settled for. YOU CAN CALL YOUR CREDITORS YOURSELF AND ASK TO SETTLE FOR A LOWER AMOUNT.
