Waste of time. No support whatsoever. They tell you to make no payments once enrolled yet they do not contact the company or companies you have been asked to stop paying which continues to lowered credit score. Once I cut ties with FDR resolved my own debit with a phone call. Best advise when you get behind call the company you're in trouble with yourself. Very disappointed in FDR.

Since signing up with FDR through Karen ** I have finally been able to sleep a little better at night. Through a series of hardships my husband and I decided to sign up with Freedom Debt Relief. Your rep told me in the beginning it would be 48 months to complete. Well my time is up next month and then I’ll have my Bank stop the withdrawals.. That’s $23,616 total. I can’t do it anymore.. So it was a big lie he told me. Someone should know about this behavior ASAP... Also, you never fixed my graph for the last 2 1/2 years..

Our experience left us scratching our head. We went into this thinking it was going to be a long and drawn out initial process, but it turned out to be the opposite. Our account rep Amber make it go so smooth, that when we completed, we thought we may have missed something. It was that easy. We would highly recommend for anyone that has lost their employment, tried to stay afloat, but comes to a point where a choice has to be made. FDR can definitely help you before things go too far South.

It has been a long road for me with my debt recovery. But I wish I would have found FDR 10 years ago.. Best thing I've ever done for myself. Can't wait to be out from under this mountain of debt. Make sure you sign up for the Litigation service. It is worth every penny, when one of these shady recovery services decides to sue you!

The creditors involved were unhappy and did a few very underhanded things to me at the beginning of the process including failing to send all the tax information I needed for the IRS. As a result I had a small problem with the IRS but after that was resolved I still saved a lot of money. I will likely never be able to do business with those creditors. Consolidation Plus/Freedom Financial did what they said they would and warned me about everything the creditors did. Overall I am happy with the experience.

After going through a two year divorce, I was left with over 24,000 dollars in debt. I also lost my naval career. So, there went my stable income. I tried to re-consolidate all my debts, but with my low credit score, it wasn't an option. My only other option was to contact a debt relief company or file for bankruptcy, which I didn't want to do. I wanted to pay it myself. I was very pleased with the services provided. I would recommend to a friend.

Working with Michael has set my mind at ease. I first contacted him last month and he explained everything and answered all my questions - and I had a lot! I wanted to think about it before committing to anything. I actually checked out one other debt relief program as well, but came back to this one because the payments were lower, and because Michael really seemed like he knew his stuff and seemed genuinely interested in helping me - but he didn't sugarcoat it either; he was open and honest about everything. I had a few things I needed to take care of before I enrolled in this program, and Michael was very patient and helpful. I'm saving well over $200 a month, which is a huge relief.

Very pleased. I really didn't have to do much after the initial paperwork I filled and signed. Which for me that is what I needed. Too slow of a process, getting tired of the calls and emails from debtors. I would like to have a faster pace of settling some of the debts, especially the smaller ones, like Wells Fargo. Please try to do it at a faster pace. Thank you for all that you are doing. I want to see my money put to use.

Did a little research online and started to fill out a form but got cold feet. I received a call from Ira **, who will turn out to be my debt consultant. I can't thank him enough for taking out time to call me and send me explanatory emails, even when he didn't hear from me at first. It was like he knew that I was nervous and was probably having cold feet.
When I finally did call and speak with Ira, I have to say that he is the best. Taking his time to work me through the process, explanation of the steps from start to finish and also listening when I was talking about me circumstances was enough to calm my fears and make me feel more confident in his and the company's capabilities in what they do and also that I had made a good decision to get out of debt. I was very pleased with Kaleene ** help going through the process, she was so informative and compassionate and professional. I was apprehensive with this concept of debt relief, but have been pleased with the results that have been happening. With the assistance of staff, the phone calls and mailings have all but stopped. So far I’ve been very satisfied with the service & contact with FDR. I checked them out online & found them to be in the top 10 of debt resolution companies, although they are number 10 on that list. They have continued to communicate with me on a daily basis. I made a call to their contact number which was answered immediately. Following that communication & the request for a change, they sent me confirmation that my request was completed. They informed me it would take about 24 hours to see the change on my dashboard. The changed was confirmed by me in less than 4 hours. I call that real service. I am receiving information. I realize that I have to be responsible for completing my commitment also. Actually just ran across y'all on Google. Received call from Dorothy, who was very nice, personable, knowledgeable and patient Even though she HAD to read me "the Info" reprocess, she took the time to explain it when she was done bc it's A LOT of jargon. Mind you I am a college graduate and a RN (PICU), I am a product of circumstances. Dorothy was very empathetic to my personal situation that caused me to be in debt, which is multiple sclerosis and small fiber neuropathy and short term memory loss. I worked over 4 years after my diagnosis but unfortunately I knew that June 3, 2014 was the day that I Couldn't do it anymore. For that reason, my income went from $8000/month to $2700/month with disability. She was very understanding and did not judge me at all.
Quite honestly, I could tell that she is passionate about her job and helping others in a different kind of way than I do. So I never even really considered debt relief before, but I am very grateful that Dorothy called and explained the very simple process. It was a very painless and a quick process and I am very appreciative to Dorothy for calling and being so understanding and knowledgeable. With that being said, I became a happy customer that will have no problem recommending your company to friends/family that I know may need help as I did. So KUDOS to Dorothy. She definitely deserves any/all recognition that she receives.

I felt extremely pressured to refinance my bills with a higher interest rate and monthly payment plan. The monthly payment plan is more than I can really afford every month. I also thought that with the negotiations my debt would of been reduced, but it was not. It was same amount as when I had started to begin with. I simply could of saved money by doing it myself. It has been a challenging time for me financially. I am a professional real estate broker and I have been successful in the past. As my money problems grow so has my insecurity and fear. These afflicted emotions have had a direct effect on my productivity. I survived the recession just barely with the help of my friends but dug myself deeply into debt with them and the IRS as well as others and I have been constantly behind in my bills. It was my understanding that once a person signs up the telephone calls would stop. I share a phone and the calls keep coming in. The person signed up approximately 4 months ago. I wouldn't mind if they called every few day but it's 5 times a day. I see the name displayed on the tv so it ends up going to voice mail. I spoke to one company and told them to not call during the weekend because the person was away. They kept it up so I had no choice but to play with them by wasting their time. Shame on Freedom Debt Relief for not keeping them at bay.

It is a little slow going. I thought they would get the debtors off my back sooner. I'm still getting lots of phone calls and letters from the companies that I owe money. But I will say customer service is very good... If you call them they are quick to try and help you.

I have not had any updates on my debt consolidation. I have received a letter from an attorney. If FDR does not take action soon, I will start paying my own debt. I am very concerned about my overdue credit cards. I would like communication soon.

When I found Freedom Debt Relief I really had no idea as to what the program was about and how it could help me.
