You cannot connect with this bank on weekends, no one answers the phone! CFNA basically threatened me to go paperless if I did not CFNA would charge me $3.99 to $5.99 for every payment. So I signed up for paperless. A lot of good that did. Without a paper statement I have no reminder. (I am 64, paid by mail all of my life, checks were cheap, postage was cheap). So today, a Saturday, I attempted to make a payment online. Well, my username was not correct, (turns out is was correct) the "difficult" password their site issued was not correct. So I became LOCKED OUT of my account for too many attempts to log in. So I call to make a payment and I will not go into that because I could almost write a book about that experience alone.

Turns out it still cost me ($5.99) to make a payment by debit card. These people and their "business" is nothing more than a scam and nowhere have I found where this information to be available and easy to visualize in their information. If you're offered this card, think twice, maybe 3 times. There is so much more to this convoluted story, however I am becoming pissed all over again writing this review so I will stop. Needless to say I am going back to paper and doing what I can to support the Post Office.

I have a Negative balance that is growing monthly, as I cannot cancel the recurring payments. Have emailed customer support on Nov 16th, and Was promised a follow up on the email, but nothing. Repeated phone calls to CFNA are just on hold marathons.

I have spent month-after-month trying to access my online account. Tonight, I decided to take the time to call customer service and get this resolved. It took 4 phone calls. I had a new card issued months ago that I did not activate because I had not planned on using the card again. So over several months since receiving the new card, my previous access to the online account was not permitted. I was past due (by 10 days) and when I tried to "set up account" it still would not allow, nor would it even allow me to activate the new card online.

The 4th customer service rep tonight tells me that he can help me activate the card and set up new account once they get the account current by me making a one-time payment of past due amount (only $93). So I make the payment with him on the phone and then he says, "call back when this payment clears and we can activate and set up your online account and switch you to paperless".

This is insane. I have 10 credit card accounts that are all current because it literally takes less than 2 minutes to make my payments online with all the other accounts. CFNA treats me as though I owe them thousands of dollars and months overdue. I was attempting to hold out with my payment to make on my own once I received the customer service I deserved by assisting with setting up my online account. No other customer service rep has told me this before and this guy basically tricked me into giving the $93 payment and then says, "we have to wait until it clears- call back in a few days" and hangs up before I can do the customer service survey at the end of the call. Also, they do not allow you to use debit card for immediate payment online, but you can use debit card with customer service rep for $5.00. Scammers!!

I should have known better. No auto pay setup available. You can’t pay your entire balance at one time. They are totally looking to watch you stumble and pay the outrageous interest rate. When I wanted to use the card for a large payment well below my credit limit it was declined. When I verified it was not fraudulent I was told it didn’t matter. The card could not be used for the transaction. I cancelled the card!!

I opened an account at Firestone. The manager kept pushing it, so I gave in. Never received my card. I’ve been on the phone for two weeks an hour each time, trying to figure out why I haven’t received anything. And when you call it asks for your account number to even get to the next menu. I finally went into the store since I was worried my payment due date was nearing and I still had no card or account number to set up autopay online. The employee called from one of the Firestone phones and it still took over 30 minutes to answer, only to be told I need my account number from the card to set up a online account, and pay my bill… ummm that’s exactly why I was calling.

After almost an hour of getting nowhere, I tell her I’m paying off my account in full and to close my account. She proceeds to tell me to do a payment with the store it needs to be in cash and then I have to call a separate number to cancel account. I’m on that call for an hour only to be told our office is closed, try tomorrow. I call the following day and of course the call is not from the states. They drop my call twice! Infuriating a “bank” like this has our personal information and not the means to staff it. They need to be audited this is unacceptable. I’m currently on hold 25 minutes so far.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I opened the card to save money at the tire store. Only used it that once. Paid off the bill 8 days late. Never thought about it again. Then 2 months later I get a phone call that I have an $89 bill due. All late charges. The original bill was only $53. Total scam.

I agree with someone else that posted. This company, is a scam. I had an account, was making payments. They closed my account, charged it off with no notice. Never told me charged it off. I continued to make payments. Then I paid the account off so I could use the card, but no.... they don't tell you, they closed your accounts. O, you can continue to make payments and they can get money....

This is literally the worst banking company. I was put on a hardship plan to pay off my card and told that I would not be paying late fees if I made my minimum payments. They did not tell me the proper date to pay and after paying 3 months of payments I am somehow owing more than I started when I started the payment plan. They charge $40 late fees on top of $6 surcharge interest fees. So even though my minimum payment was $27 I am now in a deficit of around $80. They said there is nothing they can do to help me because they gave me incorrect information when starting my hardship plan. I was in a medical facility for 6 months which is why all this started. Their employees are uneducated, unhelpful, and uncaring. I will never use any of their services for any business again and I hope no one else does either. This was for a Firestone credit card.

Do not let them talk you into getting a CFNA card, whether it's A promotion or not, they will charge you 6 to 8 months Interest on one billing cycle at the end of promotion. They will report you as late to the credit bureau if you are one day late... Considering I never received an invoice, could not make the payment and I was one a day late. If I could give them 0 I would give them a 0 rating. Customer service is everything!

I am a responsible consumer, who doesn't carry credit card balances and I typically only have 2 credit cards. However, since my local Firestone branch is often my go to place for car maintenance, I finally decided to open a Firestone credit card since they offer 6 months of interest free financing. However, I've had nothing but problems with this card. They charge $6 per month to receive paper billing statements which is a rip off. I didn't receive an email statement the first month I had the card so I got charged $29 late fee, which they waived as a "1 time courtesy". Last month I also didn't receive an email statement so I was charged the late fee again, which they refuse to waive even though I paid the balance in full. I'm so done with this company.
