They decrease your credit limit with no notification so that your account shows negative! I was approved for $1800 and all payments were made, one was two days late on accident and I paid the $30 late fee then login today shows approved credit is now only $1400, they tacked on the interest and I'm now marked to have a negative balance! Call and they can't give you any information. You have to wait for a letter in the mail! I would have never used this company if I knew they would be so scantless!

I appreciated the ease of being able to transfer my unexpected $2500 car repair onto a credit card until it came time to pay it back. I did not receive notification of when my first payment was due or how to pay it until after a late fee was incurred, and they would not reverse the late fee. Then I learned they do not offer auto pay and so had to set up preapproved electronic withdrawals from my bank, but they were limited to how many they could set up at a time.
Completely frustrated by the experience and the extra work it would take on my part to manage the account, when another of my credit cards offered a 0% balance transfer I took it and worked with an account representative with CFNA to close out my balance and cancel the preset withdrawals from my bank account. I was assured the withdrawals were cancelled, there were no charges to my bank account for Nov. or Dec., and I have not used the card since paying off the balance.
However, this January an electronic charge of $100 hit my bank account for a credit card that has a zero balance. I immediately called CFNA customer service and was told it would take 24-72 hours for them to replace the funds. When asked how do I get reimbursement for any overdraft fees that might occur from their unauthorized removal of funds from my bank account, I was told they are not responsible for any fees my bank may charge me. When I said so I would have to sue you for the fees? the line immediately went dead and I was transferred to the automated customer service survey.

Initially, everything was satisfactory. (Love the zero interest for 6 months). However, there is no autopay option, and after I added a second payment account (since changing or removing payment accounts is not an option), they continued to withdraw payments from the incorrect account number. Before I realized it, I received a letter regarding a returned payment, even though both payment accounts had sufficient funds to cover my payment (I always ensure this due to past experiences). Consequently, I was charged a late fee once more. Additionally, they will NOT refund the late charge that was not my fault!

Never going to them again! Overpriced and kept pushing for me to get a credit card that kept charging me interest and late fees after they said it would be interest free so long as I paid the balance within 6 months. I called the credit card company and they were rude and wouldn’t waive the late fees even though there was NO communication that my payments were late. DON'T GET THE CREDIT CARD!!!!

The company's system did not provide notice that first payment was due. When they did provide notice for the second payment, it included a late fee that they claim can not be waived. This is a deceptive business practice. If you do use them, be sure to note the date of the first payment.

This company is absolutely awful. I've had it for years and maybe I get down a couple hundred. Not even that. I'm continually charged. A huge finance charge continually charged late fees which they will not take off. Any other company will work with you. Not this company. I'm trying to close it. Do you think they take off a couple late fees? No, they won't. Please do not use this company. They're horrible. They've never helped me with anything and don't even get me started about their AI with their fake keyboard typing into your phone.

I bought 4 tires with CFNA credit card. Total price was $527. I purchased them in February 2025. The offer said if paid in full within 6 months there would be no interest. The minimum payment was $29 a month. I paid $60 a month for the last 10 months and the balance is still over $ 300. This place is a rip off.

I recently opened a Firestone credit card against my better judgement to obtain a discount two tire purchases. I have been a lifelong customer of Firestone since the 1980s. I paid the first bill on time and then received a second bill with the full amount unpaid as well as late fees. I contacted CFNA and was told that "sometimes it takes 10 to 14 days" to process the payments. I then asked how they could charge late fees if the customer paid on time but the company took two weeks to process the payment. I then received a third bill with just the late fee and a "revolving fee" for a total of $36.53. I again called and the "revolving fee was removed but CFNA said I still owed a late fee of about $7.00. I cancelled the card and filed a complaint with the CFPB. Firestone is losing a customer of 40 years over $7.00. This company should be criminally investigated.

This is the worst credit card company out there. They cancel my card before they got breached. Tell me they will send out a card. They never sent it. Then I have to wait 30 more days to receive another. They wanted $25 to expedite it. Guy on the phone was rude. Terrible company. Will mostly cancel.

I would give ZERO Stars if I could. Their customer service is atrocious. It seems as though they want you to not use their credit card. The people they have working for them from top down all need to be replaced. Just read all the other reviews. Firestone and Bridgestone lost a loyal customer for life. Their one job is to build customers for life and instead, Firestone and Bridgestone lost a once loyal customer.

Very difficult to use credit card outside of Wheelworks due to "security restrictions," also difficult to make payment on the phone or by mail (allow 14 days). Asked three security questions including driver's license, amount of last credit card charge, to confirm identity. Bank payment was not allowed without supervisory approval.

I was charged a $29 late fee because I received my credit card after the due date and had no way to view my statement or make an online payment without the card number. On 11/12/2025, I called CFNA and was told the fee would be waived. It was not waived. To avoid another penalty, I paid the $29 on 12/03/2025. I then opened a dispute with my bank on 12/15/2025. The payment was somehow reversed, and CFNA is now calling me for the original $29 plus another $29 late fee and interest, totaling $60.
I had already paid the original balance of $382 in full. I only opened this card after being pressured at a tire shop with a promotional $80 oil change offer, which I now regret. CFNA refuses to allow escalation to a manager or supervisor when you call, leaving no way to resolve issues. Buyer beware. Avoid this credit card company at all costs. Their billing and customer service reflect misleading and fraudulent practices that leave consumers paying fees they were told would be waived.

I got some maintenance done on my vehicle, in which the Firestone cashier asked if I wanted to use my CFNA card. I told him I didn't have it with me and he said... no problem... you can still charge the amount to your card. I said fine just to use it to keep it active, so a charge of $160.49 was charged to the card on 11/10/25. It is now 12/03/25 and I am trying to payoff the balance. I tried paying it through the online system but nope won't take it and says there must be a statement balance. I tried using the phone payment system and nope, says I must have a statement balance. I tried calling and talking to a live person and nope they said I must have a statement balance to make a payment.
I said I don't want to just make a payment, I want to pay it off completely. They said I had to wait for a statement balance and that it is a promotional offer. I said I did not ask for a promotional offer and I want to pay it off now. It shows a current balance, so let me just pay the current balance, but nope the rep said I have to wait for a statement balance. What the heck???? Why are they NOT allowing me to pay off the balance on my card when I want to pay if off???? Seems they hope you will forget about it and then the promotion will end and they can charge you interest. Super sketchy!!!!

Was on hold waiting for a (sup) who placed me on hold she said for 3mins. But it ended up being 20mins back & forth. The customer service was absolutely terrible. Poor product. Company is not willing to work with you. Replaced 2 batteries I got from them 6months ago. 2 different cars. Batteries died. Replace under warranty. Then all of a sudden I get a $60 bill that I didn’t get till it was due. Paid full balance as soon as I got bill. Now I have a late charge that’s basically the same amount as they surprised me with charge of batteries. Watch out for this company. I do not recommend them but if you have no other option sell your car before you bring it to Firestone and get their in house credit card. Rip off, Don’t care. Can’t even get live person on the line.

Horrible credit card. So many complaints I cannot list them all!! From the sign up, it has been nothing but a mess. First, they would only accept the address on the driver's license, which is not my current address. They refused to change it unless I sent in a copy of my driver's license, which was ridiculous because it would not have solved the problem. So, they sent my credit card to the wrong address. I had to call to get the balance and after long house on the phone and getting rather annoyed, I was able to change my address. I told them I did not want paper bills, but they sent them anyway and charge $3.99 each bill.
In order to change to paperless you have to create an online account with CFNA, which I will not do. They refuse to waive the fee for paper bills unless I create an account. The people behind customer service are nice- it's not THEIR fault that they work for a company that has horrendous customer service policies. DO NOT apply for this credit card!!!!!

Tires Plus offered a $50 discount if I placed my service on a CFNA credit card. 16 days after purchase, I called to pay off the debt charges incurred. CFNA representative acknowledged the purchase but refused to accept my payment, saying I had to wait for the bill to arrive by mail. It did not arrive until 2 months later with late charges, interest, and a fee for getting a paper bill in the mail. Over $36 of charges that should never have been applied. This is a bait and switch credit card company and they charge over 30% interest on outstanding charges. Think: usury.

I have had this card with Firestone that is partnered with CNFA for a while and today was an experience I want to share in summary to help people identify what’s not okay. If a fraud report claim is no longer being worked on; notify the card holder; don’t go radio silent after that decision was made on your side. If a bill is re-activated after a conclusion was made from a message to where a customer is now responsible for the bill; you need to notify them instead of waiting for them to discover it themselves through them being charged a Late fee of $30 and interest; especially when the late fee was unwarranted from lack of communication in regards to this bill specifically.
If the charge still doesn’t belong to the customer and they decided to pay it anyways and they express their discomfort that they don’t trust you will handle the investigation of what was originally reported because of the recent experience in lack of communication to the customer in regards to the charge that still doesn’t belong to them; and you ask the customer “do you want to close your account since you don’t trust us” as a response to someone communicating how upset they are at being caught off guard in lack of communication around the channel of the bill itself that they expect the card holder to pay despite the card holder being unaware of the bill being re-activated;
That kind of experience does “create trust issues” when there is lack of communication about the bill itself from their end; and you should respond to that expression with “do you want to close your account since you have trust issues” cause now your just pouring gas onto a metaphorical fire and your not de-escalating anything anymore.
Also; If I use the card for auto repair emergencies which is why I got it in the first place; why would I close my account? It almost came off like my expression was being used to justify them to pour more gas to further ignite the discontent I was already having from this conversation. Re-explaining to someone more than once something that was already explained and making it personal or taking it personal when I’ve expressed I’m already upset and caught off guard by lack of communication isn’t okay; where in the world would I have the patience to continue letting someone tell me anything that doesn’t relate to resolving my problem?
They made it known to me when I spoke to them about everything I’ve listed on the phone where yes; I was upset, annoyed and didn’t have anymore patience to listen to more lectures about what I needed to understand because overall; they cared about getting “their point across” more than understanding and respecting the fact of why I was heavily upset and speechless about how my entire situation was handled; they weren’t sorry for it; in fact they stood by it as being okay that it was all handled this way.
In summary. I ended up paying a bill that didn’t belong to me; I did not end up being the most pleasant person to speak to on the phone during this experience either because of the trust and patience I lost with them from this not being handled the way I thought it would have been handle the first time when it was originally reported the charge not being mine in the first place and they didn’t want to remove the late fee and interest charge around it either after I cleared up the confusion with how they mis-interpreted my message.
And because I lost trust in them to be able to handle things around this charge I originally reported as something that didn’t belong to me because they perceived my message I sent to customer service where I was trying to be helpful about tracking down what I learned and sharing it with them as me acknowledging that something was my debt when it still wasn’t my debt and I was charged for something I haven’t used and canceled it a long time ago and no one didn’t bother to talk to me after I sent that message to customer service and instead reactivated the bill anyways that still wasn’t something that actually belong to me personally.
Me expressing I have developed trust issues from this experience because they suggested to re-open a new claim because the other was closed due to “how they perceived my message” without responding or communicating to me after I sent it resulted in me then being asked “if I wanted them to then close my account with them since I don’t trust them”; which I realized from that point of the conversation was someone using my position of expressing my feelings and how upset I was that they don’t actually care about what I was put through and what I was inconvenienced with through this experience with them; but instead them telling me in their own way this is what will and will not be happening.

Worst credit company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I have a over 800 credit score. They cut my credit limit by over half even though I had never been late on a payment or went over my limit. I got a very generic answer when I asked why. Then I received a letter saying because I had purchased a house over a year before they felt I was a risk even though I didn’t have a balance and have a excellent credit history stating they did not use your credit report to make their decision. They used a sophisticated algorithm to determine what your credit limit is so I applied for a credit card from a much more reputable bank. Got a way higher credit limit and much better interest rate so I am canceling the account and will never deal with them again.

A very un-supportive customer service, charges you high late payment fee and interest even when all payments were made on time. They calculate interests in a way to make customers pay higher interests on promotional balances and apply timely payments to revolving balances, thus tricking the customers into paying higher interests even when they are making payments on time. These are deceptive practices that are hidden within legal language and customer representatives are trained to keep repeating this without any intent to help.
